the most wonderfully calm and polite allothereua maculata i have ever met. usually they're incredibly scrambly and run around in an understandable panic but this guy was chilling in a crevice in some fallen bark. wonderful.

major & jumpstart! 💥both are scolopendra morsitans, first is "dragon head" variant and second is "blood red" variant, these guys are from the same region of south africa.
major is named after my major fault on the driving test i had the day i got him and jumpstart is named after the new nailgun variant in ultrak1ll + how jumpy he is <3

I fucking love this movie because look at it look at IGNORE THE CENTIPEDE BTW DONT WORRY ABOUT IT but look at the color and the framing and the fucking Fog like i cannot stress enough just how cinematic the first movie is man. Kind of but not entirely lost in the sequels, where the settings were simply Ugly.
#luly talks#also do look at Heiter's gay little pose this scene is so fun#like its hard to believe but the human centipede 1 is way more artsy than you'd imagine#and i love it bc it never feels pretentious like its just. a pretty fucking movie#there's a lot of simple character building for Heiter too#everything he does his whole house how he behaves#the way he looks and carries that pic of his dogs the naked swimming him fixing the window as a chekhov's gun#maybe not that since the bullet came backwards for the girl but yknow#even the surgery scene is so telling of how much he CARES about this like he's doing surgery on THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE ALL ON HIS OWN#you see him sweat you see him focusing with so much care and precision#i already analyzed in depth too my feelings on a man who previously separated bodies fighting so hard to unite them#i dont give this movie enough credit because im unfortunately obsessed w the third one which is. schlocky as fuck. but like#it's genuinely such a beautiful movie. it's campy too but there's so much soul to it. it's mental.#much better than msot the modern ones i've seen that try to be deep and fail GOD im about to rip my shirt off#I LOVE THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just ordered feeders from my local reptile store and noticed they have flag tailed centipedes available right now.. so.. i threw one of those babies in my cart as well 👀

man.... got out of my shitty old job got out of my shitty old house.... I think I am unstoppable
#99.txt#my old house.... became like a nightmare for me because im so scared of bugs especially centipedes#and it got to a point where a centipede would come to my room every single day and i just lived in constant anxiety#and literlly blood splatters on the wall like an insane person#they liked my house so much cos the basement walls were half filled with water at all times and generating mold#which i was also breathing at all times to become more insane#and it would flood the basement every time it rained lol.... so eventually the landlords ''fixed'' it#which meant stopping the water from leaking into the basement. but not from getting into the walls in the first place...............#so now there was no exit and the walls became MUCH MORE filled with water.#much more bugs and now you could even smell the mold from outside the house.#then on top of that the landlords go ''we're going to raise your rent in 3 months ^_^''#by some insane ammount i dont remember#so we went ok......... goodbye#that & my work are examples of a bad situation needing to become an even worse situation to force me to leave sjfjskd 😐😐#im so much happer now#HEY have u noticed i havent had a public internet breakdown in like ???? months or something ?????#i feel like i can think like a person haha >_< like a still kinda crazy person but........ jesus#my life has not been simple lmao

i feel real odd tbh
rooms moved around, still need to get new shelves and like clean up some clutter and put shit back once that happens. change shit on the walls around. but sitting in a new spot feels weird.
and we went to texy road for dinner and like, immediately she was being a karen, and immediately i wished we hadn’t gone because it was fucking PACKED AS HELL and also EXTREMELY LOUD and i just am not normal enough for that on a regular day let alone a day with no sleep and not eating in places that often yet still
#moving room around is a net good tho....#it desperately needed to be cleaned proper#and i'm excited to have more shelf space#and i can finally put my eothas statue somewhere#also just space in general so fuck forbid if i blow my knee again#that said i did come home to find a dead house centipede and im not entirely sure#if it was somewhere to begin with and just surfaced#or if it wandered in after the fact and died#but either way THANKS I HATE IT
