It has been quite some time since the Doctor found themself in Italy, and certainly quite a bit longer since they were there during World War II. They step out of the TARDIS with a wing-ding device beeping away in their hand, they look up to see the Colesseum towering above them. However, that is not their destination on this day- no, the Doctor's beeping device is going to take them into a different direction.

They make their way from the colesseum towards a flight of ancient-looking stairs leading down into the ground. The wing-ding device they are holding is beeping more quickly now, and they know they're getting closer to that which they are seeking. The Doctor heads down into ancient tunnels and starts to run, their gaze fully on the device. They're so focused, in fact, that they don't look up quickly enough to see that they are about to crash straight into someone until it's too late.

"Blimey!" The Doctor yelps, their wing-ding device clattering to the ground as they try to get their bearings. They blink quickly to clear their head and then give the person they just rudely crashed into an apologetic smile before stooping to pick up the device, still beeping on the ground. "Terribly sorry about that! I'm in a bit of a hurry, trying to find things, and... stuff." Though they intend on simply moving on, the girl's presence catches their interest. The Doctor frowns, just a bit.

"Might I ask what you're doing down here?"
