okay yeah, this might be wildly wrong (and thats okay) but I don't think the trial is over. Jen was acting so weird, Rio never came through the door, Agatha was being weird to Teen, etc etc.
I think that this is still part of the trial, 9 episodes doesn't account for the number of witches and yeah of course it doesn't there needs to be an ending but still. Was that all of Agatha's trial? It seems so short/too easy. I think that Agatha's biggest fears are abandonment and betrayal (or some flavor of that) and this would really be the ultimate betrayal, the boy she thought was her son -for a minute- kills her. I still think Teen is Wanda's kid, but oh my god.
I simply refuse to believe this is what's happening. Also I am ready to be wrong and that's okay, leave me be

okay a few other notes about ep 5:
OBSESSED with the way that a) Rio was the only one who said the brooms were a good idea and b) she and Agatha INSTANTLY started doing the ritual together, like they’re done this a thousand times before. Amazing choice to show their history yet again without actually saying anything. Show don’t tell baby.
We all love the way Agatha looked at Rio when they were flying, but I also love the moment of pure bliss on her face when she closes her eyes. She loves flying. And she probably hasn’t let herself fly in centuries.
The CGI on the broom flying scene was the exact amount of cheesiness I wanted, A++
Jen has absolutely no patience for Agatha, and I get it, but I have a feeling she’s going to be the first to realize that Agatha is actually telling the truth and forgive her. I’m assuming this will happen whenever the truth is revealed about Nicky.
They all heard the “Stop, mama” not just Agatha. Also confirmed that was a CHILD not a baby, double yikes.
I can’t BELIEVE this episode was basically 30 minutes flat what a RIDE
Okay FINE he’s Billy I’m jumping on the bandwagon now jeez
I didn’t point this out but somebody said Agatha confirmed he was Billy once he said Nicky’s name out loud bc otherwise the sigil would have prevented it and THAT’S SO GENIUS OMG also maybe it was the final nail in the coffin to get her to lash out at him bc she still wanted him to be Nicky
Rio hung back to kick that ghost’s ass you can’t convince me otherwise - “I hate ghosts” yeah I bet you do.
The way she started laughing when the ouija board spelled DEATH I can’t
“Sweetheart you okay?” And “Woah! Where’s she goin, what’s she doin” are easily top lines of the ep
Catch me psychologically analyzing this shit for DAYS
How am I supposed to sleep now???

anyways here’s me yapping about rio vidal and her background, spoilers below the cut
it makes WAY too much sense what she’s death itself now that we actually know (ps don’t take any of this seriously i’m literally just guessing)
there have been all kinds of hints, and it would also explain why agatha hates her so much
since teen is billy, we can assume as of right now that nicholas is dead, meaning that at one point or another rio is the one that took agatha’s son. it could also be that he died and agatha went to rio to try to get him back, i think it’s probably the first one
she quite literally claws her way out of the ground on the road, assumably from where they buried sharon. she probably took the opportunity to join them since sharon is now dead, and she doesn’t have a coven of her own to open the door with so she used the grave
in one of the teasers/trailer things that they released before the show, the coven is using a ouija board and it spells out “DEATH”, which we can now take as being literal
and finally, it explains why rio seems to be so enamored with agatha. the witch who has been alive for centuries, killed several of her own but never actually died, and she’s LITERALLY flirting with death herself. it also explains the lines where rio says that agatha can’t kill her, and agatha responds by saying that rio isn’t “allowed” to kill her. if rio is death herself she can’t be killed, and more than likely agatha has made some sort of deal that has made sure that rio can’t be the one to kill her.
anyways the sapphic witches have taken over my mind and i absolutely adore rio, so thanks for coming to my ted talk
welcome to the edits bc as i find more i’m just gonna add it
edit: in episode 3 during lilia’s hallucination, we see what appears to be death behind who i think is her mother(?) this being has green spots for eyes which tracks with rio being a green witch, long dark hair, and the outfit looks WEIRDLY similar to rio’s outfit that she’s in when she breaks into agatha’s house in episode 1
there’s also a tarot card that they posted as a teaser for the show, and the specific one i’m talking about is the Death card. it’s holding the same knife as Rio’s, and appears to be in the same outfit as her in one of the clips from the trailer. it’s also clear all the cards were picked for a reason, because the rest of them can be related to the other witches or the coven as a whole
edit #2: episode 4 just came out and i am LOSING IT. when teen is essentially dying, agatha is crying as she looks at rio and just says “Don’t.”, shes BEGGING RIO NOT TO TAKE HIM
there’s also the point where rio and agatha are full on flirting and rio says that agatha gets her power and “i get my bodies” which literally what else could that mean?? finally, rio says she had to do something that hurt agatha, which implies that she had to take nicholas bc then she tells agatha that teen isn’t her boy
edit #3: episode 5, the way rio laughs when the ouija board spells out DEATH is kinda suspicious if you ask me

"Punish Agatha"
So I'm thinking about how it's almost impossible for the individual witches not to have had some kind of control over the Road, even if Billy was the architect, and I'm coming back to Agatha's trial. (Which is still so fucking weird, but that's a discussion for another time.)
And I'm thinking about the ouija board saying that "Death" is the spirit with them in response to Agatha's question. Rio wasn't doing that. That was Billy. That didn't mean Rio wasn't having the fucking time of her life, ofc, but it does mean that Rio wasn't trying to control the trial - that she wasn't the one instructing them to "punish Agatha."
cool! bc I'd wondered about that.
but the thing is - Agatha didn't know that. Rio's sitting right next to her. Agatha will not look at her. Agatha's terrified. Agatha knows that the Road doesn't exist, and she knows who Rio is, and she knows all the reasons that Rio is angry with her. Why Rio might very well want to punish Agatha.
I still don't think Rio's doing this, even if she's got that psychopath smile on while it's happening. I think Agatha's doing it - bc she's terrified of small "d" death. Bc she knows who Rio is. Bc she knows all the reasons Rio has to be angry with her. And bc she is revealing her belief that she should be punished.
And I think it's significant that it comes at this point! This point when we've just had 1.04, which is the most "found family" ep of the entire show! Sitting around campfires, laughing, trading stories, becoming friends - setting aside their distrust of, and hatred for, Agatha!! Agatha was slow to come around to it, and rusty about her conscious vulnerability... but she had it. She begged Jen, crying, to save Billy as she cradled his head in her hands. Later, she showed them one of her scars on request, and didn't bluster about it. She even tried to make them laugh, and was clearly pleased about it when they did. She was one of them - and discovering that she actually wanted to be!
The end of 1.04 was also that remarkably tender moment with Rio - that extremely intimate embrace that came in response to Rio telling Agatha, and Agatha listening, to how much it hurt her to take Nicky, to hurt Agatha, to lose Agatha. Fucking astonishing! Agatha believed in them again, if only briefly!
And then, in the very next episode, we have "Death" telling the coven, over and over and over again, that it wants to "PUNISH AGATHA".
And, ofc, Agatha did just that.
Agatha's a self-fulfilling prophecy. At this point in the narrative, and not before, she believes she deserves to be punished because she's reckoning with the things that have kept her from community - the things she's done in response to her grief at her son's death. That ultimate punishment comes with her destroying her coven, that fragile peace and community, by killing one of her coven members in exactly the way she's been killing her coven members for centuries - in exactly the way she'd meant to kill her in the beginning - but in a way she absolutely no longer wanted to do at this point on the Road.

Head cannon bc I can - The Assassin's belief in spooky stuff
A/N: In 3-month pre-honor of Spooky time (which is the best time) I'm gonna write a drabble about how I think certain assassin's would react to spooky stuff like ghosts, wendigos, vampires, etc. Thought it would be funny.
Tumblr media
Ezio Auditore - He grew up religious so probably has that faith over fear mindset despite what he believes later on in life through being an assassin/meeting the garden tool known as juno (who doesn't get her name capitalized bc I don't like her lol). I mean exhibit A: This Florentine man just jumps off of a very high building and nails a superhero landing. The FAITH that this man had in his KNEECAPS to NOT SHATTER over the FEAR of his (very nice) legs snapping in half like pocky sticks. I mean COME.ONNNN. WILL LEGIT PERFORM AN EXORCISM IF HE GETS SPOOKED. He'll speak in Latin reciting Bible verses, he'll bust out the Holy Water and get the rosary, the whole shebang. He thinks that vampires are lowkey cheesy but is flattered when people think that he's one (because of the sexy factor around the bloodsuckers ya know) because they think he's HAWT. Wendigos freak him out because WHY DO THEY MOVE SO FAST?! He also does NOT mess with ouija boards and refuses to even be in the same room as one, cause the man's not trying to have the dang spirits of the borgias come after him again (cesare was annoying enough the first time, okay?). Werewolves? He's indifferent to. He likes dogs, he likes people (MOST of them), so long they don't bite him (too hard *wink wink*) that's all he cares about.
Tumblr media
Altair Ibn La'Ahad - Vampires? Meh. They better stay away from him and his love or they'll get a fang omelet. Werewolves? So long as they don't have fleas or parasites, he doesn't see them as a problem. Altair does NOT believe in ghosts, and he is NOT amused when the others try to scare him and make him paranoid of the "other side" ooooo. He thinks it's all bullshlatta haha. However, when he's been smoking hashish...it's a different story. This cannabis product has a THC concentration of 5-15% so man is getting into the kite territory lol. He WILL get paranoid, and he WILL think that ghosts are on the front lawn PARTICULARLY the ghosts of French and English soldiers that he's fought. Will go get his love if she's there and pull her into his lap muttering in Arabic about "Stupid ghosts of the fallen. Not touching my woman." He'll beat Jacob's ass for moving the ouija board around and scaring the others but mostly because he didn't see Jacob, he just saw a big black blob coming at him and swung. He will also once again beat Jacob's ass for trying to scare him while pretending to be a ghost wrapped up in a bedsheet. Just picture him trying to strangle the poor top hat wearing British boy while Desmond and Evie try to talk him down and Altair's love gently tries to pry him off.
Love: (laughing softly as she pulls at his arms) Altair Habibi don't hurt him it was just a prank.
Altair: (yelling in Arabic) He's a ghost! I don't need any more of them in my life!
Desmond: Guys come on don't fight again.
Evie: (trying not to laugh) Uhh Mentor if you could kindly not strangle my dear brother to death, I would be grateful.
Tumblr media
Ratonhnhake:ton/Connor Kenway - Being Native American he has been privy to myths and legends of mysterious beasts and malevolent spirits. The one that freaked him out the most as a little boy however was the myth about the wendigo. A myth that one if his tribe's elders had picked up from an Algonquian traveler passing through Boston. An insatiable beast created from humans and the hunger felt by them in desperate times with little to no food. He has heard multiple legends ranging from the spirit possessing those who are without food and influencing them to consume their fellow humans in cannibalistic practices, to the wendigo being a demon that possesses people for unknown reasons. How the beast is allegedly 15 feet tall, can wind walk, is extremely intelligent, and stores it's victims for food storage eating them at its leisure. But imo he's not afraid of them because think about. Connor vs a wendigo? I feel sorry for that wendigo lol. Man has fought bears, cougars, mountain lions, defied gravity, taken on an entire army and held up the middle finger to cannonballs meant to send him to his Maker. Requiescat In Pace to that wendigo haha. Vampires are lame to him he does not see the appeal, but he does find their teeth funny. (He has been exposed to a wide variety of different teeth via animals that he's hunted, but creatures that look human who have teeth like animals is funny to him).
Tumblr media
Jacob Frye - Tell.me.WHY I just KNOW that Jacob would so totally take out the ouija board and put it in random places to scare the others lol. This would lead to Evie playing detective and staying up all night to find out what was going on, only to find that her baby brother is trolling everyone. Needless to say, Jacob's ears get boxed. He likes to play around and goof off about ghosts lurking about, but being serious he does not believe in them. Nor does he believe in contact with those who are passed on. He thinks that a place can carry bad things that have happened there, and the aura can be off, he believes the same with people as well. He could sense Starrick's craziness all the way in Crawley... It goes without saying that Jacob DEFINITELY believes in mental illness. He'd probably try to fight a werewolf to test his strength. And a vampire too. Would also probably carry treats for werewolves if he knew any and give it to them in their wolf form lol. Once the fight commences (and his inevitable loss follows) Jacob would ABSOLUTELY try to recruit them into the Rooks. He could use as many members as possible to say nothing of those with supernatural abilities. Would TOTALLY flip his flat cap over a vampire's ability to heal quickly. Like he would pull his signature Frye arm break and the vampire's arm would just *pop!* right back into place. He would lowkey be jealous because if he could do that think about how many fights he could win!
Tumblr media
Evie Frye - DEFINITELY think that she would wonder if vampires were out there and she would be SO EXCITED if she met one. She would want to pick their brain about their experiences and hear the stories of however many lifetimes they have lived. In the game she is somewhat interested in the other side and the occult so she might dip her toes into the crystal ball and ouija board territory. She does it maybe once or twice and then quite because she doesn't get results from it (plus Jacob won't stop playing with the planchette piece using it as a monocle). She didn't like the ouija board because the rules of "Don't play alone" both annoyed her and made her weary. She would rather play alone due to the nature of serious questions she would ask about the afterlife (I honestly kinda think that she might try to make contact with her father through the ouija board but would be deterred when she heard that it could possibly be demons instead of her loved one). She's not really superstitious but she does take rules (within reason) seriously (and she tries not to break them if Jacob can behave himself lol). She has contacts everywhere and then some so hearing things through the grapevine she eventually hears the good old "things can get attached to you and follow you around" when messing around with supernatural things. This made her completely drop contacting the other side because this poor woman is already harassed by and followed by Blighters and Templars 24/7 365, okay? She doesn't need any ghosties or demons following her too. She finds the concept of the wendigo fascinating but has no plans to hunt one (unlike Jacob). The idea of werewolves makes her cringe because while she likes dogs the hearsay about werewolves having painful bone breaking transitions from human to wolf, disturbs her and fills her with sympathy for anyone who is one.
Tumblr media
Arno Dorian - Ghosts? What ghosts? You mean the ones that haunt him on a daily basis? The ones that haunt him in his dreams? The ghosts of choices he didn't make, mistakes he made and regrets he has? Arno isn't afraid of ghosts. Not at all. Is interested in the anatomy of werewolves but is concerned about if they have parasites and fleas. (It is my own personal cannon that after the events of Unity a stray cat started harassing him like "Hey drunk sad human feed me". Eventually this led to Arno adopting the little furball). He thinks that wendigos are nothing special because they just remind him of customers at the Cafe Theatre hopped up on caffeine, he just stands there and is like "Madame/Monsieur calme-toi. Vous faites une scene." (Calm down. You're making a scene.) Doesn't put much stock in mummies but he is fascinated by the history of Ancient Egypt and their burial practices, he admires how so much care was put into their final goodbyes. People do in fact think that he is a vampire because look at him...I'll wait...enough said. He has the timeless sexiness of a vampire not to mention it just...suits him? He finds it amusing nonetheless and is actually flattered to be considered a "seductive master of the night". Werewolves he would just give them treats from the Cafe in hopes that they wouldn't bite him (Mademoiselle Whiskers - his cannon kitty - love bites him enough lol).
Tumblr media
Bayek of Siwa - Somewhat accustomed to ghosts actually seeing as he is well acquainted with the Duat and members of the dead. He does take them there and deliver them to Anubis after all. Not afraid of them but does not want them to invade his personal life especially if they're the ghosts of the members of the order. (Man fought so hard to kill them all and then he might have to deal with them haunting him? No thank you. He's had enough.) CAN and WILL knock a vampires fangs out of their head if one ever tried to bite him because one: RUDE and two: he's not trying to catch immortality. He wants to go to the afterlife one day and I think we all know why. But besides that, he also has almost been bitten on numerous occasions by snakes, hippos, crocodiles, and even hyenas. Senu has NEVER bitten him (I refuse to believe that she even gives him love bites just lots of wing hugs, beak nuzzles, and she sees him as the sweet baby that he is so she cleans him like one lol). He gets a kick out of hollywood mummies and actually likes Boris Karloff in The Mummy, but all of the powers and curses and people being terrified of a dead body wrapped in linen strips gives him a little chuckle. He finds it quite silly to be honest. This man sees werewolves as big dogs and would probably befriend all of them because he seems like EXACTLY the type of man who has THE GIFT (aka the talent to befriend all animals). Man is a certified Egyptian Disney princess that Disney has denied us.
Tumblr media
Desmond Miles - Man LOVES 80's horror change my mind but he does. That and 80's music so I'm not convinced that he'll scare easy. Not to mention the kind of life he lives as an assassin being in constant danger and living in paranoia with a lovely sauce of constantly looking over his shoulder (this poor baby I swear). Werewolves are cool to him because he loves dogs. Have a feeling that when Halloween rolls around, he busts out the old classics such as The Wolf Man with Lon Chaney (The Birds, Dracula, Abbott and Costello, etc). Vampires are cheesy but don't you DARE tell me that this man has not attempted to do the Dracula accent because he HAS. He's probably even binged vampire diaries (well what he could before ubisoft pulled a bitch move) and it's possible that he's even dressed up as a vampire too lol. His girlfriend lost her mind when he tried to kiss her with fake fangs in but they fell off making him a one toothed vampire lol. Ghosts aren't scary too him at all I mean...have you seen what he went through with the Bleeding Effect? Ain't no way he's phased by ANY kind of ghost that tries to do a little spooky brew haha to him. He'll just stand there exhausted with a cup of coffee as one tries to scare him and be like: "Great. What else is new?" Depending on which ancestor of his he's bleeding through the Bleeding Effect his reactions are a mixture of his own Desmond reaction and whoever he's bleeding.

timebomb highschool au
(part 5)
(pt1) (pt2) (pt3) (pt4) (read on ao3)
description: timebomb highschool au pretty much sums it up lol. there’s also canon storylines (vander death, vi conflict etc.) but translated into a modern context
note: I’m really sorry if there’s any mistakes im so tired rn 😭😭 also speed of chapter updates might slow down a bit now but I will try to keep it steady!!!
Tumblr media
It was just too easy.
It’s like this whole school fell into her traps, let her do what she wanted. The universe was basically telling her to prank the poor souls of Zaun High.
Jinx went to vandalize the locker thinking that there was no way she’d get through with it. Someone had to walk down the hallway, someone had to catch her, and yet…
No one was anywhere near. She finished writing ‘Dickhead’ in big blue letters on locker 27 without a single eye catching sight of her. She even managed to add some extra decorating touches.
Jinx skipped back to math class, her spirits high. No one even noticed the paint now staining her fingers after coming back from the ‘bathroom’.
She glanced quickly at Ekko sitting beside her, absorbed in his notes. Her lips lifted up slightly when she thought if their text conversation the other day.
Do I make you nervous, Ekko?
She was pretty good at this flirting thing. Not that she was flirting, of course. It was a joke. A hobby, a way to pass time, that’s all.
Ekko wouldn’t like her anyway. Maybe he’d like her face or her body or the pretty words she could make up, but he wouldn’t like the real her. That’s what sent them all running for the hills.
Jinx’s phone started buzzing in her back pocket, and she regretted not putting it back on Do Not Disturb. Even though it was on silent, it still buzzed against her chair, making a noticeable noise in the silent classroom.
The teacher turned around from the board.
“Does someone have their phone?”
The class stared blankly. Jinx didn’t show one bit of a reaction, and the teacher turned back to writing on the board, writing sounds and breathing the only noise in the room.
Jinx slowly removed her phone from her back pocket, looking around to make sure no one was staring. She shifted forward in her seat, putting it under the table, and made a conscious effort to make sure it didn’t look too much like she was staring at her crotch.
Vi: I’m really sorry. Please, can we give it another try?
Vi: I won’t bring her this time.
Jinx’s lips pressed together, staring at the messages. She almost had to wonder where her sister got the audacity from. Before her fingers could start typing out an offensive and colourful message, Vi sent another text.
Vi: do you want me to come to your house?
Vi: I just want to talk.
Vi: I just want my sister back.
She fought off the urge to laugh. Vi’s sister was long gone, killed the night Vander died, the moment Vi yelled and hit her and left her. Powder was dead. That’s almost what she typed, what she told Vi, but her fingers were somehow compelled to say something different; like an ouija board.
Jinx: ok.
Jinx: this saturday.
Jinx: no girlfriend.
Jinx rested her phone on her thigh, momentarily tuning back into class. The teacher drawled on and on, things she already knew and everyone else should know too. Her eyes were already blurring the numbers and equations on the board, turning the teachers voice into a buzzing like an air conditioner in her ears, when she was woken up by her phone vibrating on her leg.
Vi: thank you for giving me another chance
Vi: I’ll be there (:
Vi: (No girlfriend!)
Jinx almost smiled. The messages had so much of her sisters energy in them, she could practically hear Vi’s voice in her ear. Well, the Vi from before’s voice. She didn’t know if the Vi from the here and now was the same. Maybe she was more serious, mature. Maybe she acted older. Jinx hadn’t really figured that out from their brief interaction at the mall.
The thought of the mall made her look at Ekko again, just out of the corner of her eye. He looked kind of cute, all focused on the class and the paper in front of him.
Jinx quickly shifted her eyes back to her own desk and banished that thought from her mind. She did not have time for boys right now. Not even cute ones.
Class ended with just a few more minutes of zoning out. Lunch was next, and that was the easy part of the day. She never really went to the cafeteria, usually just wandering the halls or going outside if the weather was nice.
Today, her plans were interrupted in a very violent way.
Jinx jumped, her reflexes not fast enough as her shoulders were grabbed and she was shoved against the locker behind her. A gasp escaped her chest, the impact winding her.
“Get off me!” Her body thrashed widely in an attempt to free herself from the grasp of whoever had attacked her.
“You bitch!” Her attacker roared, holding her upper body tighter, and that’s when she recognized him.
Messy light hair, dark brown eyes glowing with rage, teeth bared. Yes, this was the owner of the locker she had so lovingly decorated this morning.
Jinx laughed breathlessly. “What, you didn’t like my decorations? That’s a shame, your locker was so plain before. Really, you should be thanking me.”
He pulled her forward, only to slam her back against the locker again, even harder this time. She breathed heavily.
“Don’t fucking play with me.” His breath smelled like old cigarette smoke and gatorade. “You think that’s funny? You think you’re gonna get revenge for her?”
Jinx knew what her meant. His ex-girlfriend. Although she had of course heard the rumours of him cheating, of him just being a general asshole, she didn’t write ‘Dickhead’ on his locker for her. She just really couldn’t stand this guy’s attitude.
This guy whose name she couldn’t even remember. This guy who was holding her up against a locker.
“Fuck. You. You think you own this school? You think you’re so great, so clever, Jinx?” He huffed, clearly pissed.
Dickhead was seeming like a more and more fitting nickname by the second.
His hands dug into her harder, and she knew what was going to happen. He was going to slam her into the lockers again, or swing at her, or do something to hurt her. And she was so helpless without her tricks, her smoke or glitter bombs, her gadgets. She was too weak to even defend herself against this asshole.
Just as she braced to take a hit of some kind, the dickhead was suddenly off her just as fast as he’d been on her.
She pulled herself off the locker, dazed and blinking at the scene before her; Ekko, dragging the dickhead away from her and throwing a punch. Him, throwing a punch back. A fight.
She wasn’t registering it fully, and then she was registering it completely.
“Hey! Stop it you two!” Jinx stepped closer to the two boys. “Cut it out!”
She would not let Ekko get hurt just because she couldn’t defend herself. That was stupid. She could already see his bleeding nose, though it wasn’t for nothing. Dickhead had a nasty black eye, another mark blooming on his cheek.
The whole ordeal stopped when Sevika appeared around the corner, stepping in between the brawlers and raising an eyebrow at a Jinx who was still breathing way too heavily.
Both boys stared up at the buff school receptionist, holding them back easily.
“Okay, you three.” She said bluntly. “Time to go to the office.”
Jinx sighed.
As they followed Sevika silently down the hall, a walk of shame almost, Jinx looked up at Ekko wiping the blood from his face.
“The boy saviour,” She muttered to him, making him look at her quizzically. “My big, fat hero.”

Ok so now that I've calmed down and can actually think (by think I mean I talked to my brothers who are also watching the show and have a little more marvel knowledge than me) this is a little take on Alice and then more yapping
Yes in disregard to the last theory I reposted, if Alice is dead it makes sense. Her character already kinda developed from her trial to this one. She was the first to get her powers back and then she blasted Agatha. Now I hope she comes back later on because home girl deserves some more justice served, but her being the first death makes a little sense. I also want to think the Ouija board foreshadowed a death. When it quite literally spelt out 'death' and Rio laughed. It would also kinda fall back to we don't see Rio come out the trial space. If Rio is death (which atp is so obvious) that would be the start of her bodies. Now I think if she were to come out of that trial with everyone else, the ending would not have happened. So this also now leaves the setup for her to be like 'yo where tf my wife at?'
Also another thing we talked about was Billy. Not Billie eilish being the outro song (will not be adding you should see me in a crown to my witches season playlist no sir) but the true like tiny things that now click from previous episodes. I brought to mention how he always seems to be lurking on Agatha. Like whether it be he's the last one to look away from her or like he's always trying to get her to confess something. And nothing wrong with it in the long run I would assume, but it just sticks out to me a lot. It could literally be something, or it could've literally been me over analyzing. Especially after this episode. But now we looked at it as he's been lying about his intention.
Now idk I'm not a crazy smart marvel fan to know too much but I'm trying my best. But this is what we have gathered as a group (we spent an hour almost on the phone discussing theories and meanings)
Also they believe mephisto soon be coming🙌 I believe Wanda soon be coming too (literally delulu she ain't dead and stg lizzie been mentioning marvel and struggling to answer some questions)
All I know is, seven days to rock back and forth waiting the next episode😕 take what you will with this or don't I'm ranting on here because I have free will tonight!

Oh. That was. Hmmm. Lots to discuss and theorize for in Agatha All Along Episode 5! Spoilers AHOY!
So after last episode was about the Coven all coming together at the height of unity, this trial basically took a SLEDGEHAMMER to all of that camaraderie and good feeling with a healthy dose of shit going BAD.
So, before we get into the meat, I thought the opening with the broomsticks was really cool. I liked the ritual they came up with to enchant it, and I liked how the Coven duos paired off with Agatha and Rio as one pair, Lilia and Jen as another, and Alice and Teen as the final one. I really feel like after this episode, it showcases how the coven stacks up in terms of morality - Teen and Alice are the heroic good witches who are sort of the new generation of witches but who are in way over their heads, Lilia and Jen are experienced and are kind of apathetic to the fates of others, and then Agatha and Rio are the crazy kind of evil ones who can't be trusted. And those tiers get REALLY delineated really fast this episode.
We also got confirmation that the Salem Seven are the children of Agatha's former coven. I had my money on them literally BEING her former coven, but the fact that they're connected as the vengeance seeking next generation is a really cool direction too. They had a delicious creepy vibe this episode, and the way they seemed to follow the same path that Rio did into the Road was a nice touch of continuity. I was reminded a lot of the Nazgul with them, which I enjoyed. I DO hope we'll get more of a personality from at least one of them before all is said and done, but as is, I enjoy the threat they pose.
Agatha's test was this episode with the Coven having to use a Ouija board to commune with the dead. They definitely had me going there with Agatha doing a Sharon impression there for a minute, but of course, she was only faking it. The actual spirit claimed to be "Death" (earning an ironic laugh from Rio who we know IS actually Death) and wanted to "Punish Agatha." But we find out from Teen solving the Ouija board at the last minute that the spirit was Nick Scratch, Agatha's son. What I'm not sure about, however, is if the "Punish Agatha" spirit masquerading as "Death" was Nick Scratch or if it was Evanora Harkness, who possesses Agatha. If I'm understanding the rules correctly, Agatha was possessed by her mother's spirit because she let go of the planchette, which means that Evanora's presence was a result of the ritual being interrupted, and Nick Scratch was the actual spirit they were communing with. But Evanora's whole motivation IS punishing Agatha, so maybe she WAS the first spirit and then Nick Scratch is a second spirit who manifests afterwards. It wasn't really clear, and I wish they'd have been more direct... Then again, maybe that's just another part of the mystery that's still yet to be revealed? I'm not sure.
Anyways, we have two interesting bits with Evanora and Nicholas: 1. Rio was READY to punish and/or kill Agatha before she found out Evanora was trying to keep Agatha there. Rio has a VERY clear dislike for Agatha's mother, and given that Evanora believes Agatha was "born bad" and laments not drowning her own daughter when she was born, it's pretty clear that Evanora wasn't really a good person in life. I wonder if Rio and Evanora had some history too, though? It kind of seems like that animosity was more than just about protecting Agatha.
2. Nicholas was a spirit and called out in a child's voice, so that seems to suggest that he IS very most definitely dead. I've been riding the theory train that he's alive and was going to be our twist Big Bad at the end of the Road behind the Salem Seven, echoing his role in the comics. However, that seems to now be disproven. They keep bringing him back up, though, so I feel like he's got to be more than just a backstory, right? Like, there's something MORE going on here than just a reveal of what Agatha really did to him. I feel like something about him is going to come back into play in the present day. So we'll see what more we learn as the story goes on.
And then... *sigh* RIP Alice, I will miss you terribly. Look, I'm VERY sad about Alice, and I know a lot of people are probably brandishing their pitchforks towards the show for killing her off and doing so in this manner. I get that, but I DO actually think this was the correct route for the show. I think what the show has done a really great job of letting the audience forget so far is that Agatha, though she's a complex character, is also a VILLAIN in this universe. She's a self serving bad guy, and she brought the whole coven together for the sole purpose of trying to antagonize them into letting her steal their powers. Eventually it was going to happen to one of them - the show basically outright told us that from the beginning. And there was no one else it could really BE at this stage other than Alice. Poor Alice's story wrapped up very neatly last episode, and she was the only one aside from Teen who is noble enough and inexperienced enough to do it in an attempt to save Agatha. I'm sure some people are going to feel very hurt and betrayed by that moment because Alice is so lovable, but that's, imo, a good thing. The show WANTS us to feel hurt and betrayed like Teen does over Alice's death, and that was certainly accomplished. And, no, I don't believe for a second that Agatha did it on accident either.
And then shit starts to REALLY hit the fan when Agatha tells Teen, "You're just like your mother." And HOLY SHIT. SHE KNOWS. SHE KNOWWWS. AND I KNOW SHE KNOWS. AGATHA KNOWS HE'S WANDA'S SON. What I'm curious to know is if she knew all along or if she figured it out since the previous episode after Rio revealed he wasn't Nicholas. Her demeanor towards Teen really seemed to change in this episode, so I'm inclined to think the latter. But I think it's VERY safe to say that we know for a fact he's Billy Kaplan at this point if we didn't already, especially with the blue version of the Scarlet Witch tiara that appears on his head after he knocks Agatha, Lilia, and Jen into the mud. So now it's time to find out HOW he's Billy. I'm excited to find out!
Oh, and also worth noting, Rio didn't leave the trial with the rest of the Coven, and she didn't get sucked into the mud like the other three ladies. Curious where she's going to go and when she'll manifest again next. It looks like next episode is probably the one where Agatha, Lilia, and Jen have to roleplay as pop culture witches, so she probably isn't part of that. We'll have to wait and see! But damn, I need the next episode NOW XDD
Closing thoughts: ALICE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Okk.. so watching the episode at 4 am wasn't the best idea. On the second rewatch it was actually really good, still fucked up, but also good.
I feel soo sorry for my baby Agatha. If I could, I would just wanisch her mother from existence.
I'm still not ok with her coven immediately jumping to hurting her because the ouija board said that. Like last episode, they're ready to help her, when curse affected her and now this?
I think they’re supposed to fight Evanora together, not Agatha. The trial ended, more or else, when she was gone.
Soo it was Teen all along. I mean Billy. I'm inexplicably happy that they revealed it so soon, because it would be way worse in the end. This way they have time to rebuild their relationship before Agatha's second trial.
Which we can say will be about Nick most likely, considering that he was at the end of this one. He's definitely dead. I don't think that Agatha ever thought Teen was Nick. It was just what Rio assumed, I guess.
If anything, I think she was suspicious that he could be one of Wanda's boys. I mean he lifted Wanda's spell, for once. She still started to love him and that's ok.
If Rio laughing, when Evanora said she was Death, isn't another proof that she is, then I don't know anymore. Besides, she definitely stayed behind to collect Alice.
Rio is growing on me, and I hope she will not betray Agatha later.
I don't need them together, but just let them stay on good terms.
Also the cout was in fact back.
I wonder if they're aware that they're trapped in this mud or they're unconscious?
Why does no one want to give Agatha a chance to change??? Is it  too much to ask?? 😭 I knew she didn't control this, when I saw her face, when she realized that she killed Alice. Sad because she was the nicest from Agatha coven. I liked her the the most, after Agatha. I hope she will be back later.

Day 3 of Radioapple trick or treat!
Bones of loved one because we can't forget them aren't we
Tumblr media
Immortalizing forever
Day 3 ----->ᵒᵘⁱʲᵃ ᵇᵒᵃʳᵈ/ᵇᵒⁿᵉˢ
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧 ✏ 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬
Note: I have too much ideas for the prompt of "ouija board", I myself who's into spiritualism and is a pagan/shaman but it will be focused on another prompt in another day. For now, then consider taxidermist!Lucifer who's a bit psychotic and have issues :)
Tw: major character death, bones(I think that was obvious enough already-), human flesh, implied necrophilia I guess
Also it's reaaaally short like really but it has dead dove so yeah sorry not sorry. Plus, both Lilith and Lucifer here are not royalty, just sinners lmao
•• <<────≪•◦⚜◦•≫────>> ••
"Oh you have no idea how much she means to me Luce..." Lilith lamented towards her friend, toying with her recent necklace given as a gift from her girlfriend Rosie as the shopkeeper looked at her with a raised eyebrow. While he was dusting a few antique triffles and statuettes from his collection, he looked back at the woman, a teasing smile on his smile.
"Oh and pretty sure she also gush a lot about you as well with her friends"
"Oh shush" Lilith rolled her eyes at him while the shorter man laughed slightly.
Today was one of those days were Lucifer didn't had that many customers in his taxidermy shop but not that the demon really minded it. In fact, coincidentally, it was also one of those days where he didn't felt energetic enough to actually put on a motivated and kind facade and would rather just let his eyebags and snarky remarks out.
Most people wouldn't know the reason why he acted this way but only the fewest people close to him such as Lilith knew too well it's answer.
For a small moment, the two was alone in the shop, a comfortable silence settled between the two demons while Lilith looked around, still in awe at almost every Lucifer's creations that were either displayed in front of windows or at the entrance, on his counter and of course at shelves with it's ustensils and ways of creating a four armed snake or multiple eyed goat.
Then something caught her eye.
A few deers' statue didn't had the specific pattern which was specific to Lucifer's motif while between the ducks with horns and black ish tones, there would be red tuff of cats laying there and there.
It was even more flashing and obvious when Lilith saw a portrait of Alastor next to the shelf.
She winced at it.
It was no mystery for Lilith and Rosie that Lucifer's lover have died 3 years ago, succumbing from an angelic spear during extermination and how devastated the goat demon became after that, to the point where he locked himself from everyone around 6 months straight, Lilith almost fearing he would die of hunger if it wasn't for the fact that he was already a sinner.
Now, Lucifer seemed to have finally went past his grief and mourning but still, she would occasionally be scared that he would do another lockdown or worse, knowing how extreme he could be.
And seeing Alastor's portrait back have put her on edge again, sensing that Lucifer's sadness would go back.
"-And did she wanted to go on a date with you or not?" Lucifer's surprisingly calm voice echoed as Lilith went back on the ground, trying to shake her worry away.
"We were actually thinking about it but she's been very busy with cannibal town these last few weeks and you know how murdery these guys can be" Lilith waved her hand as Lucifer slightly raised an eyebrow at her while he cleaned and rearranged a chimera that was sitting on his counter. Lilith bit her lips before she hesitantly asked.
"Lucy?"
"Yeah?"
"... Why are you keeping this portrait?" She eventually asked, pointing with her thumb as the uncanny smiling expression of Alastor, his gaze immediately looking at everyone who entered in the taxidermy shop.
For a very brief moment, inside Lucifer's eye flashed this old him, his wounds still fresh and his mental completely shattered when he got informed that Alastor died, before he rolled his eyes slightly, a small, uncertain smile on his face.
"Oh you don't have to worry about it, Lily it was rotting away in the basement thus I preferred to put it there for now! You knoooow..." he said and Lilith swore she could notice that Lucifer's speech felt a bit jerky as if he really didn't wanted to talk about it.
But then the smaller demon beamed again, almost destabilizing Lilith as he waved his hand around in turn, dismissive.
"But meh! This is just a detail, was planning to sell it one day. Can't bring myself to keep it too long" he explained.
Well that was definitely not what Lilith excepted to hear from her friend plus the decision seemed a bit too radical... But again, it was probably for the best that Lucifer took harsh initiatives, for his own sake.
A sudden unexpected call from the woman's phone interrupted the two's discussion and soon Lilith had to excuse herself for her own music studio had a problem they need to fix as soon as possible thus she had to leave in an impromptu rendezvous. Still, before she departed, the snake demon's mind wouldn't be at peace if she didn't at least check one last time on Lucifer.
But the goat demon simply laughed wholeheartedly at her concerns, finding it touching.
"Lilith, I will be fine. You shouldn't be so scared" He then started to count on his fingers. "I have took my meds, make sure I sleep well and don't try to overwork myself too much."
"I know that but-"
"Yeah yeah, about his creations..." He took a pause, his tone less sure but still firm. "... I will find a way to get rid of them."
Lilith bit her lips, still iffy about all of this but the constant buzz from her phone in her pocket was enough to convince her in some ways.
"If you say so Luce just... Please be safe."
Lucifer smiled warmly at her.
"I will."
But as soon as he guided her outside the taxidermy shop and closed it, the goat demon instantly collapsed on the floor, taking a deep breath.
This was bad.
This was so fucking bad.
Lucifer took a few steady breath, trying to calm down his speeding heartbeat as his fists shook with uncontrollable emotions bubbling inside.
After what felt like an eternity, he reculantly got up, not without difficulty and having to lean on the glass door, and used his magic to pull off all the lights in the shop, too tired to do it manually.
"Breath in and breath out Luce..." He groaned in tiredness, rubbing his face as to calm himself down furthermore, his deadpan gaze looming over the taxidermy shop, precisely on those specific crimson deer with sharp smile that seemed to stare at his dead soul.
He knew he NEEDED to get rid of them somehow in any ways, knowing it was awful for his own wellbeing and psychology. But they thought about leaving ḧ̴̯i̶̢̓s̶̹͝ possession, leaving what remained of ḥ̷͊i̶̱̎m̷̚͜ and his memories. He have already lost a part of Alastor and Lucifer couldn't bear the act of getting furthermore away from his husband.
With carefulness and slowness, he walked towards the back store, hid by a silky black and red curtain, which led to numerous shelves, all sorted with any kinds of anthropomorphic or humanoids body parts: snake eyes, human limbs, ears, jaguar teeth, fingers, lizard tail and many more macabre trinkets all set next to tools specialized in their each dissecting process.
Lucifer, of course, was already used to this sight that would reminded him not only that he was alone but this loneliness was for eternity, his own Hell going progressively worse than him not being able to feel human anymore and being a monstrosity, scarred and mangled deformation between an animal and his face.
The unfinished products and empty jar that were sitting for so long dust started to settled on was a daily reminder of it.
Without thinking twice, he went downstairs, not caring to light up the room until his eyes couldn't discern a single thing, not even a crate nor disgraced old rags. The damp, small room's smell immediately went to Lucifer's system and if it wasn't for him being used to it already, the goat demon would have recoiled in absolute disgust and would have banned this place forever.
But that was not the first time he was there and it wouldn't definitely be the last. This moist and stuffy basement was technically his second home.
At first, Lucifer still didn't wanted to turn on the lights, despite his eyes growing heavy and swaying because of the lack of visibility until he felt something heavy falling yet the sound was not that loud, just enough for his senses to flare up.
Lucifer smiled.
"It was about time you actually manifest yourself."
Without further ado, he snapped his fingers to pull on the smallest bit of source of illumination. Only for a small lightbulb to brighten up not even a quarter of the suffocating basement.
It only highlighted primary the metal table below, a long figure laying on it that was veiled with a grey tarpaulin as an arm stuck out from it.
It had a deep cut on the forearm, dried up blood covering the entirety of the limb.
Lucifer went towards the working bench, rolling up his sleeves and putting on gloves as he put asides his tools and a clean towel before leaning furthermore on the tarpaulin, lifting it slightly until he actually removed it entirely.
"You're still just as beautiful as when I lost you"
Alastor's mangled and disfigured face didn't responded as Lucifer continued, tracing his fingers down the body caked up in mud and dried up blood until it landed on a less gross area, at least the blood was not a yellowish nor mixed with other grim that got caught up with the rest. Lucifer tsk ed.
"We should really clean you up one day dear" he couldn't help but comment.
Alastor's unsmiling face still hasn't responded.
"Lilith went to check on me and talk at the store today." Lucifer started to tell, taking Alastor's arms in his hands while he cautiously set apart furthermore the gap that opened the deer's arm, inspecting if he could see his lover's bone between those tendons and torn up flesh. When he didn't saw them yet, he continued, laughing slightly.
"Oh Alastor you don't know how head over heels she is with Rosie. Really! The two are already together for a while now and yet she still gushes about her as if she was an absolute goddess that can't beat reached out by a mere sinner like her." Lucifer shook his head at the absurdity of his propos while he was still searching for the less painful spot for him and Alastor to dig the taller's bone. The goal demon then added with less enthusiasm as his words were now coated with more bitterness and nostalgia.
"If only you could see these two. They're just as adorable as buttons and so, SO lovey-dovey with each other" he couldn't help but let out another laugh notwithstanding the dry tone in it. "Too bad, you're ill and bed ridden for a while now and unfortunately I don't think it would get better if that continues."
As soon as he felt that around the upper arm the bone was a bit easier to be removed, he used a small saw and metal pliers that were only designed for this kind of operation. However, he still continued to speak with his beau, whom exposed cracked skull started to attract more flies on it.
"Though that doesn't mean I don't give them news about you. It's just... I feel like Lilith doesn't understand what I'm saying when I'm talking about you. She keeps looking at me with pity as if I've gone crazy."
His tone was a bit irritated at the last part while his instrument dug in the flesh, making sure he was careful when it comes to his dissection. "To be frank, I don't know why she keeps insisting about leaving you behind. You're hurt and in need of assistance after all, that's when you need me the most or at least someone who can tend your wounds and injuries.."
He then stopped, now focusing his attention on the cut bone as he tried his best to extract it gently at possible without causing furthermore damage.
He didn't wanted to hurt Alastor after all.
After what felt like an eternity, Lucifer finally managed to torn apart the ulna from the radius starting from the lateral epicondylitis as he huffed in relief, wiping his forehead with his clean arm. The goat demon then looked at the now bend over arm of his lover, shaking his head slightly.
"Sorry for the mess hun. Unfortunately, I left the sewing kit at home and the one here aren't disinfected enough to not fear any skin issues." Lucifer explained.
Alastor said nothing as the blonde continued, smiling softly as he took the now meek and squishable arm that was almost cut in half, as he gently put the limb back next to Alastor's side, hoping that it wouldn't get infected tomorrow after he gets the last steps done for him.
"But I will close you wounds Alastor, just like always." He said, running his hands through what remained of the deer's hair.
Lucifer smiled furthermore.
"For now sleep well my deer, hope you'll get better soon."
And with that final note he leaned down on the cadaver, his lips meeting the swollen one's, his hands going to the tarpaulin as to cover up Alastor again, not before he finished biding farewell to his beau.
"I missed your taste Al."
He said, now completely covering the sinner's body before leaving him in the dark and cold basement.
He couldn't wait to meet him again, hoping that Alastor would return the kiss one day once he healed all of his lover's wounds.

I have watched Agatha All Along: Death’s Hand in Mine and honestly, this was my favorite episode of the whole series!
Before going any further, I am going to use spoilers so avoid this post if you haven’t watched it as I waited atleast 24 hours to post my thoughts due to the episode just coming out so I am going to be very specific about the highlights of the episode.
Highlights: First off, the costumes were some of my favorites of the season. In past episodes, we have costumes inspired by Stranger Things, very high class society/beach theme/70s hippie style. (My opinion/interpretation on the costume designs for each trial, which represent each witch and there type of powers). This episode’s costumes were inspired by classic Wizard of Oz and classic Disney movies such as Sleeping Beauty and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. with Agatha designed as Elphaba and Lila as Glinda the Good Witch. While Billy/William’s costume was inspired by Maleficent (Boy did Joe Locke pull that costume off and looked fierce) Jennifer’s looked like the old woman from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It was clever, but wish that she was able to become the original version of The Evil Queen before she turned old and tricked Snow White into eating the apple.
Anyway, back to the episode! The stakes and score to this episode was mind blowing as Billy and Agatha struggle with the tarot cards and the swords are flying down towards them and it was funny to see there interactions and how they bounced off each other’s humor and sarcasm without it going overboard. Meanwhile, Lila and Jennifer have to find their way back to the road and onto the next trial when Billy used his powers to take them off with Lila’s visions showing the future and past with her mentor having to remind her that death will come to her eventually, its only a matter of when. It’s a powerful but brief moment that reminds us that no one is inevitable to death and Lila has to face that down the road and her motivation shifts which is beautiful but tragic to see. The cinematography of how they showed her visions was breathtaking as I felt her terror and confidence once she was able to figure out how to solve the next trial. The shifting of scenes and jumping back and forth has always been either a hit or miss for me just based on execution of this technique. For this episode, this worked as it showed the development in not only Lila’s character but the suspense of the trial, which elevated the stakes for the trial and potential death.
BIG SPOILER: Rio is death aka the green witch. It’s crazy to see but also shocking as we don’t know what could happen and how the subtle cues from episode 5 of the ouija board which showed they were speaking to death and Rio’s evil laugh came in along with Lila reading her own question and tarot, how the details from past episodes came into light in the episode was awesome and clever on the writers behalf.
Overall love this episode and if you were thinking about watching Agatha All Along, definitely check it out!

What Once Was (Artemis CC x reader comfort fic)
(Artemis comfort fic? fluff? idk what to tag this. Very short Drabble of silly convos. Might add more later. CW: mentions parental death)
⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊⟡⋆⊹₊
“Sometimes, I like to imagine her on a giant cruise ship floating across the sky, having the best vacation of her life. She’s definitely partying up there.”  Artemis laughs slightly from that. “I really like your way of seeing things. I think for me, I feel and think of her the most when I sing.” They have this bittersweet look on their face as if recalling something fond from long ago. “I mostly remember her singing Sade songs around the house or while trying to help me fall asleep when I was little. I might be delusional, but I swear I can feel her singing along with me when I put those songs on”, they say with a wistful look. “She's definitely there with you. Sometimes, our bodies can feel things our mind can't fully explain. It’s like, this feeling of…protection, I think. So, I get what you mean.” Their face forms into a slight smile. It's inevitable that my expression is reflected in theirs.
It's nice having someone understand these types of things. Of course, I wouldn't wish on to someone for a parent to die but, it's just relieving to not deal with any awkwardness discussing this topic.
I lay my hand on theirs and look into their ruby eyes. “Artemis, would it be weird to think that our moms have met, and we just can't see it?” They look up to think. “Mmmm, it's possible…I guess we won't really know unless we ask.” Oh, they set this up perfectly, I thought as I schemed. “Alright, let's hold a seance tonight. You get the candles and I’ll get the Ouija board out of my bag. We should also see if the others-” I start snickering as I see them trying to hide their reservations about my suggestion. I know they don't like horror, it's just so fun to tease them though. Artemis lets out a sigh, “You're messing with me aren't you. You can be really mean sometimes.” They couldn't hold back their chuckle at my silliness. “My bad~, you're just so cute when you’re spooked.”
A moment passes and we both lay back on their bed as we stare at the ceiling. The sound of crickets from outside and slight sounds from downstairs are the only things that can be heard in the room. I intertwined my hands with theirs again. This is the first time I’ve spent my mom’s anniversary of her passing, with a partner. I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards them, considering how much of a mess I was when I showed up early this morning. Earlier, they told me that they were like that with their previous partner too. They also couldn't be alone on days like this. They always welcomed me to share my emotions with them. Usually, my voice is lost underneath others, but they always wanted to listen to me. I moved towards them, and we ended cuddling until we both fell asleep. It was peaceful, the perfect end to what was supposed to be a sad day. Thank you, Artemis.

Alright, y’all really got me goin on this “we’re still in the trial” idea, so here’s the potential evidence:
Spoilers below the cut in case I turn out to be right lol.
The color grading when they got back on the road was Weird. Almost orange, when the road has been very blue tinted overall this whole time
Maybe the orange-y ness is because there’s still a blood moon but we didn’t pan up to see it?
Or maybe its just visual code for “this is not the real Road”
Jen and Alice both came out of their trials having gained something, confidence for Jen and freedom (from the curse) for Alice. Agatha really walks out with nothing except more trauma. If we go with the theory that the Road is making them deal with their trauma in order to overcome it, then the trial isn’t over. Agatha has more work to do. (We have to face our worst fears.) On the other hand, maybe Agatha just failed her trial. Maybe that means she gets another one later. Idk.
I keep wondering where we would go back to if we were still in the trial, and I think it’s when they first spelled DEATH with the ouija board and Rio laughed. At that point, everything that happened after that was her game to play. She knows Agatha’s past, and she’s trying to get her to face her inner demons, show some fucking vulnerability, and acknowledge that maybe she wasn’t born evil. Rio (and/or The Road) wants her to face her past so that she can show up as her real self, the Agatha she’s known all along 👀 (and to get Agatha to stop freaking running away from her). Rio’s still the only one who sees her (te veo), even Agatha can’t see herself. Rio exists separate from the events of the trial, and yet she’s still on Agatha’s side, being the protector she needs even as everyone else is slowly turning against her. With a little bit of crazy/murderous intent thrown in of course bc that’s how she is.
Also can’t get over the look Rio throws at Agatha as she climbs the ladder to get out of the house. It reads as frustration to me, like really, you’re running away from this again? You’re gonna keep pushing this down and repeating the same old patterns instead of facing your trauma again? Jesus fuck what do I have to do to get through to this woman.
I was originally thinking this was playing out as is due to the fact that we end on Teen/Billy and his powers, with Agatha basically gone. But then it occurred to me that those last few minutes were truly her worst fear manifested, that he began to hate her, turned on her, and became evil himself, partly due to her own taunting. Her worst fear is that SHE will turn the boy she thinks could be her son evil, passing it down because it’s an innate thing inside her, just like her mother said.
Bonus points: IF we’re still back in the trial, Alice isn’t dead, Jen was never quite as vicious as all that (that was Agatha’s own mind berating her), and Teen is still “Teen” and never went on a murder spree to kill the coven. But imo, everyone still remembers this version of events, which makes for some hella interesting character moves all around. Particularly for Alice, Teen, and Agatha. I actually have a whole headcannon for how this plays out, but idk if I should share it or not, because it will be ALL the spoilers if it happens.

He only exist In the dark of my room
Waking up to the feeling of someone else in his room stopped scaring Shiro awhile ago. If anything the feeling made him feel safer, Besides; he knows who's watching.
Shiro turns around to face the light indigo shadowy being leaning against his desk reading a book that seems to have his complete attention. "Hey there spooky"
The being's yellow eyes look away from the book to face Shiro. "Your awake; good I was beginning to get bored," the shadow moves to shiro's side.
"What were you reading?"
"A book I found amongst coran's things, it's about different battle ships and there makings. It's actually quite interesting"
Shiro chuckled, sitting up from the bed and propping himself in a sitting position. "You gotta stop talking things. Lance and Keith still think the ship is haunted, and taking and moving things around doesn't help," Shiro then raised an eyebrow. "Why do you move stuff anyway?"
"Apart of the reason is because I want to know more about the castle and familiarizing myself with its layout. The other part?" Even without a visible mouth ulaz's eyes betrayed a smirk. "It's fun scarring them from time to time"
"Knew it," Shiro rolled his eyes with no real annoyance.
It's been four months since ulaz made his presence known to Shiro, but even before then he had the feeling of being watched. But watched wasn't the right word, a more accurate one would be guarded.
The first time Shiro felt it was about a week after ulaz's 'death'. It was late, Shiro was drowsy from the previous day and was just about to finally about to sleep when he felt like someone was in the room with him. At first Shiro thought it's was his imagination playing tricks, but then he felt a hand comb through his white tuff.
Shiro shoot up from his bed and looked around his room.. And found nothing.
".. Who's here?" Another look around his room revealed nothing. "Maybe I'm more tried then I thought" Shiro went to sleep, thinking about the strange feeling in his hair.
After that night, more strange things started to happen, but only seem to happen when Shiro was around. A few examples were; enemies being thrown, objects being moved, bizarre technological mishaps that always seem to work in the teams advantage, a feeling of being watched. But allura says she feels more like a glare to her.
Knowing what he now knows, she was probably right, but Shiro has a feeling the glare was personal.
After another mission where a soldier was thrown after he also shot him. Shiro had enough, he was going to find out what was happening to him. And after a quick trip to the space mall, he was ready to get some answers.
"I can't believe I'm doing this," Shiro placed the oujia board on the floor of his room. "Ok. Um hello? Is anyone here?" Nothing.
"Um are you a good spirit?" This felt stupid, but Shiro could feel himself being watched. Suddenly, a thought came to his mind.
".. Do you not know how to use this? It's actually pretty simple," if the ghost was an alien, they might not even know what their looking at, or what Shiro was trying to do. "It's called a ouija board, people on earth use it to talk to spirits. The piece I'm holding is called a planchette, you; the spirit. Moves it around the board and spell out what you want to say while I hold onto it," Shiro placed it back on the board. "Here grab the other end and spell something, it can be anything"
For a second nothing happens, until the planchette started moving.
Ok it's actually works.
The spirit spells out a simple hello.
"It's worked! Ok are you the one moving things around the castle?"
'Yes'
"Why?"
'Because'
"Ook, are you the one following us on missions?"
'Yes but I am not following all of you'
".. Who are you following? Allura?"
The energy in the room felt heavy for a moment before the spirit replies. 'Absolutely not'
Shiro couldn't help but laugh. "Ok not a fan of hers" the spirit started writing a reply
'I am following you'
Shiro felt a chill down his entire body. "Why? Wait, are you the one who rubbed my hair?
'Yes. I am sorry for scaring you'
".. Who are you?"
U
L
A
Z
"Ulaz? That's not.. I can't believe it" ulaz was dead, Shiro saw him die. How could he be here?
Ulaz started to reply
'Ask me something, something I would only know'
"Saves me from asking you to prove yourself. Alright," Shiro has to think, what could only ulaz know?
"What was the first thing I said to you?" Shiro remembers vividly, in he defense; he was snapier then usual that day and ulaz was the first person he saw that day.
'You are the most non cat looking cat I have ever seen in my damn life'
At this point, laughing was the only thing Shiro could think to do. "it's definitely you then" Shiro had to let the laughter die down before trying to speak again.
"I.. I can't believe it, you're here! And.. I have so many questions. How are you here? How long have you been this way? Do you feel anything? Are you even alive?" Shiro fired question after question at poor ulaz, who answered as best he could.
Back in the present Shiro thought of something.
"Hey Ulaz, the night you made your known to me, why didn't you show up in the form you have now?
"I couldn't. Not when I first turned into this, I had to get better control and learn how to even make that possible," ulaz flexes his arm turning it invisible and visible. "It came in phases, moving objects are easy, myself tangible was difficult. The first time I succeeded was the time I touched your hair"
Shiro couldn't help the color coming to his face. "Yeah about that, why touch me?"
"Well.. It's because.. I wanted the first thing I could feel to be you" if ulaz was blushing Shiro couldn't tell. And ulaz prefers it that way.
"Oh, um thank you. I'm flattered" Shiro almost let it end at that, until a thought crossed his mind that made his blush come in full force.
"While you were practicing, were you always trying to touch me?"
Shiro didn't know it was possible for a ghost to go stiff. "It was only ever your face"
Somehow Shiro could swear he felt the blush travel through his entire body.

If the Investigation Team Played Phasmophobia
Because I haven’t played it in awhile but I might throw in a fanfiction of them playing it because why the heck not (after I finish the Cyberpunk Edgerunners fanfic though).
Yu Narukami - Would seldomly play seriously and never plays VR. He would rarely die and instead get everyone else killed by trolling. He always starts with a thermometer and EMF - the basics.
Yosuke Hanamura - would definitely play VR but everyone makes fun of him and call him a “VR Goblin” because he always plays it in his chair. He would play seriously and would probably guess the ghost correctly 50/50. He would mostly reference the journal and would offer to take the ghost photos. He always starts with a camera, and photo camera to get the bone.
Chie Satonaka - easily scared, but braves it and waits for someone to go in first. She doesn’t look for the ghost room, but instead looks for the hiding spots first. She usually is behind Yosuke or Yukiko. She’s usually the one who finds the bone and cursed object. The Ouija Board ALWAYS picks up her mic. She always starts with the thermometer and spirit box.
Yukiko Amagi - oh Yukiko will get into it religiously and will do it solo. She will become so comfortable with the ghosts that she will do the hugging challenge, join the Discord server, and will thrive to reach level 1K. She will join rando servers and will offer to let the ghost chase her. She takes ghost photos while it chases her and gets a thrill when it’s a deogen. When it’s a custom difficulty she will max it to the highest level. She loves the new asylum map. Her favorite ghost is the Yurei and she hates Revenants and Wraiths because they’re too much of a challenge. She would laugh hysterically during a hunt. She starts with the thermometer and UV flashlight.
Kanji Tatsumi - He will never play unless Naoto is in the same lobby. He will throw hands with the ghost but will scream if it comes too close. He calls “fingerprints” “fingies” and calls the UV flashlight the “jizz detector” because he can’t brain. Banshees love him. Kanji can never find a hiding spot in time if it starts to hunt. He likes to bob his character up and down. He will ALWAYS be down to play Tarot roulette. He always starts with an EMF and spirit box.
Teddie Kuma - He can never position the camera right. He always uses the cursed object early, especially if it’s the music box and will get someone killed too early on. Yokais will ALWAYS pick up on his mic. Teddie always starts off with a video camera and D.O.T.S projector, and will never turn his flashlight on in order to look for ghost orbs.
Rise Kujikawa - Truck princess. That is all. She’s too afraid to go inside.
Naoto Shirogane - The screamer (alluding to her fear of ghosts in Golden). She tries to fuckin’ brave it but will blow everyone’s eardrums out over every little thing. If she turns around and Kanji’s character is too close, everyone will be deaf by the end of the game. She prefers the small maps like the street houses and REFUSES to play VR. One time, she tried VR, at Tanglewood, and she hid in the basement behind the plywood barrier hiding spot and cried because she heard the ghost’s gurgling sounds and they had to take the headset and guide her character out of the house after the ghost was done hunting. She always gets the ghost right after 2 pieces of evidence and memorizes every ghost by the behavior. She starts with the UV flashlight and EMF reader.
EDIT: I imagine there would also be a moment where Yu would keep closing the door on Kanji until the ghost would start hunting, and Kanji would be like “WHAT THE HELL MAN” and then he would start screaming like the iconic moment like Markiplier did, like in this video, and Yu and Yosuke would both be cracking up like Sean/Jack and Bob. Naoto would probably already be dead just like Wade, and then Kanji would be pissed, while the ghost kills him, and be like, “I’m glad that they find my death SO HILARIOUS.”
EDIT 2: Yu, Yukiko, and Teddie would definitely start throwing objects around to throw everyone off and scare other players. Chie would do it if Yukiko is doing it. If Naoto and Yosuke die before they figure out the ghost, they would try to guide the other players into figuring out where their bodes are for insurance money or which ghost it is (they would try to align objects together to spell out the name of the ghost type).

Talk To Me (2022)
Tumblr media
If you hear someone say they haven’t seen anything new - or scary - in a while, point them towards Talk to Me. With a great story, a focus on its characters, a fresh concept and genuine scares, it does just about everything right. This is an impressive directorial debut for Danny and Michael Philippou.
Mia (Sophie Wilde), her best friend Jade (Alexandra Jensen) and Jade’s little brother Riley (Joe Bird) sneak out to go to a party. There, they partake in a ritual involving an embalmed hand. Holding it in a handshake position and saying “Talk to me” allows you to communicate with a dead person. Saying “I let you in” allows the spirit to possess you. If you blow out the candle and pull the hand away from the “player” before 90 seconds pass, the spirit will leave and no one will feel any side effects. When Mia hears her recently deceased mother speaking during a round, she becomes obsessed with the hand.
The premise may make Talk to Me seem like an off-brand version of Ouija. In a way, it is, but that’s the genius of it. In the real world, Ouija boards are games only because they don’t work. People have fun setting up the mood, gathering for a spooky time and seeing what happens. The same thing with this hand. The difference is that it works. You can use it to speak to those in the beyond. That’s a big deal… but it also isn’t because no one knows where it came from, you don’t get to pick who you talk to and you can only talk to someone for 90 seconds. This hand is a party favor you bring with you to make crazy things happen. Some people don’t believe it works or that the participants' reactions are exaggerated. You can understand why. Participants might do something scary or creepy. They might just act sort of weird. If you try it, you’ll probably embarrass yourself, which will be hilarious for everyone else. The obvious parallel is recreational drugs. The hand is a pill a teenager takes at a party while everyone watches them trip out. This gives Talk to Me a distinctly modern feel because it’s sort of a secret but also out in the open. People might not believe it works but once you say “I let you in”, everyone hits “record” on their cellphones.
Previously known for their YouTube channel RackaRacka, Danny and Michael Philippou are transitioning to filmmaking and this is a great first picture for them. They're not content with slapping a new coat of paint on a tried-and-true idea. There’s a heavy emphasis on Mia’s headspace. She’s 17, has been in trouble before, is currently struggling with the second anniversary of her mother’s death and has become distant from her father (Marcus Johnson). An early scene where she spots a fatally injured kangaroo on the road tells you volumes about her and how she feels about death. You know this hand will have a hold on her. You’re cautious but the movie makes you put your guard down with several heartwarming scenes of friendship and some big laughs. Then, everything goes so wrong so suddenly. When violence comes in this film, it’s brutal. Then, it's over. Now, all that happy energy has become tainted and you’re on edge. "Did I actually see that?" you wonder. You have to keep watching to be sure. Talk to Me has its claws dug into you and the scares are real.
You can tell the twin directors have seen a lot of horror films and have taken notes. A typical film would spend a good chunk of its middle with an investigation. Where did the hand come from? How can they stop it from doing the thing it’s doing? Talk to Me isn’t interested in that. There’s too much going on NOW. Instead, it doubles down on the character moments, the unsettling aftermath of the rules the teens have broken (you knew they would break them, that’s part of the fun) and the scares. Some of what comes from the hand is just so bizarre it gives you the creeps. Knowing the characters as well as you do makes it extra scary. You know how easily these people can be pushed in the wrong direction based on their past. You hope the sinister force that’s eyeing them now won’t figure that out.
Talk To Me is wonderfully original. It's also memorable, well-acted, smartly written and scary. You care about the characters, you worry about what might happen to them and when things go sour, it's horrifying in multiple ways. With this film, Danny and Michael Philippou make it clear they're directors you should watch out for. I can't wait to see what they've got next. (November 4, 2023)
