I like to think that during pfl (using his s9 characterization, not s10) wash is the guy you go to when you want to know something (ah la a line in the fall of reach novel I believe where chief says the enlisted personnel always seem to know stuff bc wash is clearly enlisted).
he's in a position where he's privy to information from the higher-ups, and he's friendly enough with the lower rungs that he knows the gossip going around. as a bonus though, wash ain't no narc, so if you want that information you need to offer him something of equivalent exchange (consequently fueling the 'guy who knows things' thing). for example, north had to tell him about using equipment in the field in order to get him to tell him what his meeting with internals was about.
wash isn't the only guy who knows things, of course, but he's the guy who has the widest base of general knowledge. ct is also someone who knows things, but she's a lot more specific, and what she lacks in scale she more than makes up for with how in-depth her knowledge is. wash is where you learn about something from, ct is where you get all the juicy details (to the point of it almost being tmi). she also has an equivalent exchange policy, but people tend to be a bit more reluctant to get information from her because of what her knowledge is (and the borderline 'insane conspiracy theorist' energy doesn't help either).

fellas we're once again wrestling with imperfect vs. perfect contrition and why imperfect contrition with a firm resolution to not sin again and promptly receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation doesn't save
#I get that it doesn't but !!!! My interests tend to come in intense bursts and then fade. Unless something like, big happens like it gets a reboot its unlikely I'll be coming back to it anytime soon. As for the fic I don't have any current plans to finish it unfortunately.

Murdering. All on my own'#Well she has her little squirl thing but she treats him like an animal#mr giggle cheeks or whatever#anyway I wanted it to imply that whatever happened her bloodthirst was destroying her#The Mr Big chapter was from Lesley's perspective#She would have been one in a long long line of assistants that Mr Big went through like candy#Lesley is his favorite though because. while she is terrified of him. shes still willing to push him. to be honest with him#but she also knows exactly when to step off. when to lie to appease him#( its always a tossup as to whether he wants a sweet lie or the harsh truth that day. He can always tell either way#its a gamble he does to be cruel. She always picks right though. or maybe he's more lenient with her than he should be)#He likes that she knows exactly how to push him without ever stepping over the line#He likes that her guilt and revulsion are slowly eating her up inside but shes too selfish to leave#She likes being special. A tragic event when someone makes a mostly good post about Zoro but then says "Zoro does x because he's first mate!" BUT HE'S NOOOOOOOTTTTTT there is no first mate on the strawhat crew and it doesn't influence his actions because that's never been his role I need this misconception to die

If Fairy World oeprates on schooling and being tall enough for the job (ex. Cookie's Court; A New Wish) maybe Peri turned down dentistry because he was too short
#this is a joke. mostly because I think if there WAS a height requirment to practice dentistry like there is for Fairy Law-#for whatever reason- a dentist fairy would not have to be very big#but listen I just wanted to make the post#also knowing what we do theres a school for magical children creatures and we can ASSUME a highschool and MAYBE a college (though I have-#A theory about how higher education might work in Fairy World) and we know you have to go to the Fairy Academy to become a Godparent#It's crazy that being a lawyer has less qualification than being a dentist.#though I suppose if the judge is ONLY even Jorgen and that guy reads Da Rules every night before bed then it would feel justified?#Loving that Da Rules isn't only something every fairy (every creature?) has to follow but there's spesific rules for spesific occupations#its also likely required material in schools or smth#I like silly world building like this tehehe. just so you know how normal the UK is, left wing climate change activists and anti-monarchy protesters are getting jail time and beaten for simply holding up banners and being considered disruptive whilst right wing bullshitters against shit like ULEZ (literally about having areas that are specifically for ultra low emissions so we, y'know, don't constantly have to breathe in fucking car fumes and other pollutants because some fucking people actually bizarrely want to???) and road safety limits EVEN FUCKING RIGHT NEAR SCHOOLS are driving basically massive vehicles through the streets and are not considered a disruptive protest

#In May of 2022 TJ posted a video discussing the tragedy and politics of the school shooting in Uvalde Texas of the United States#And he ended that video with this prayer#I omitted one word-- the word twenty-one-- the number of lives that were lost in Uvalde that day#because I plan on reblogging this every time a mass shooting happens in this country#I even added the first part to the description of this blog as a general prayer#This channel's name-- Ignorants Anonymous-- is of course a parody of the support groups#the ones that are supposed to aid those with addictions#and those support groups rely heavily on the christian religion as an anchor to help guide their members#though nowadays they try to be more inclusive--as long as you have an entity or concept you hold higher than yourself then#the twelve step program can still apply#along with the name I also wanted to similarly parody the religious aspect of the support group#kind of like how satanists parody abrahamic religions with the name of those religions' opposer#while ironically holding themselves to the message of peace and love preached by those texts than the actual followers of those religions d#You do not have to be atheist to follow this blog or to get use out of it but#I find that the words of TJ Kirk-- The Amazing Atheist-- do a better job at representing the theme of this blog than I ever could#i hope he never discovers this blog personally but if he does i hope he at least approves of my use of his expressions#prayer#tj kirk#the amazing atheist#amazing atheist#terroja kincaid#YouTube

Y'all ever look at your cat and realize "I'm living with a serial killer"?
#mum will not keep him inside#granted that's a bit of a tall order in a house as open as ours#and he's supposed to be on pest control. that's his job#but the sadistic disemboweling of mice is disturbing#the housekeeper is fed up of finding mouse guts strewn over the yard#also he's caught and eaten a bird and squirrel right in front of us 😭#poor bird had gotten in the house#when we yelled each time he juat dragged it higher onto the roof out of our reach#i feel so sad for the poor critters that run afoul of him every night#even when he isnt being an ecological disaster#(seriously fuck my mother)#i nearly stepped on a dead mouse he'd left right outside the kitchen door yesterday#an offering to these helpless hairless cats who cant hunt for themselves#i hate rodents and dead ones make me wanna puke but#he was so small 😭 what a horrific way to die really#I love my cat so much but. lordy he's a criminal#kitties#cats#cat tales#knee of huss
