See, I hold back when I write. It could be far angstier than it is. I could be handing out forehead kisses left and right. Forehead kisses as someone cries and bleeds after a battle. Delirious from blood loss and pain and needing reassurance. Forehead kisses when they know their squadmate is going to die. A parting gift. One last way to comfort them, to remind them they’re loved.

lack of sleep + 'sleeping' with the fan on w no blanket + walking in the rain = already getting a bit sick/feverish

then he saw the corpse w pink blood and his brain was fried

kicks my feet while writing some killer!leland bc it’s so like… his disarming charm but twisted and not quite right. being able to turn it on and off after practicing on other victims. how he has his little alias personas in his killer verses, and then how his old self, who he was in college, becomes just one of those faces he can wear. his mode of survival has always been just wearing whatever mask he had to, adaptable and fluid. how when he smiles there’s a flicker of smth like the man standing behind him in the shadows pulling his strings, yk? smile not reaching the eyes type vibe sometimes

Question! How long does it take to do those Hero Forge poses?

A lot of the positioning is done with their preset poses and then I just go to town fine-tuning with their advanced settings. I can also make infinite copies of a model if I have it, and put those in any position which cuts down on time dramatically. Since I have pre-made characters I make a copy and fiddle around with the positioning til I'm happy with it :) for this hiccstrid it took me about half an hour (generous) since I already had both of them whipped up. I can only convey so much with the still images I post; I can rotate it in the website and see it from all angles for maximum customization.

Making a new character takes longer, what with checking references, exploring facial/body options, getting the right weapons and clothes, posing them, and then coloring. I'm pretty fast at it though because I just do it for fun with random ocs! I defo recommend the website because it's free until you want to actually buy a tabletop mini of the figure, which I never do. If you make an account, you can just accumulate models... I have Too Many.
