Title: The Hounds Come Running (and No One is Safe)

Summary: It’s a homecoming. Or where Dean is never forced to forgive Seth, Finn isn’t treated like crap by creative, and the reunion of a different faction brings everyone together in a way that’s right. (for @artemidi)

Contrary to popular belief, it takes four whole years for the three of them to reunite.

Finn Bálor steps over the fallen body of Kofi Kingston, deft fingers pulling the cloth of his bandana down to hang around his neck. The icon and his unicorn buddies were just the latest to fall under the pressure of the reunited Bullet Club, brought together under the joint distaste over the mediocrity they were dealt by the company. The crowd boos its distaste even as he holds up the iconic Too Sweet with both Karl and Luke, a smirk playing his lips.

It feels good. It feels natural. It feels right.

His thoughts wander to the months he spent pandering after that infamous shoulder injury had shot down his momentum. The useless fights, the misdirection, the way he had been held back from his title shot.

No more.

No more.

He accepts the mic Luke hands him, bringing it up in front of his face and huffing a laugh. “You lot really thought the New Day could beat us?”

The boos grow louder in intensity, but he can still make out cheers intermingling with the noise. It was a gratifying experience, being the epicenter of such controversy and adoration. To know his fans still support him, after all the betrayals and bloodshed and attacks in the dark.

“Remember this,” he drawls, wrapping an arm around the top rope and laying his weight against it. “There’s not a single damn person in this company who can stop us. Vince McMahon himself can come down here, and I’d give him what he’s owed, lest he’s forgotten how long I waited for my title shot.”

He pauses, glancing down at the WWE Universal belt hanging around his waist. His, ripped out of the hands of one Roman Reigns. Held up above his head, Karl and Luke at his side and the Samoan beast on his back.

Victory.

“Last week, we gave Roman a nice reminder of who exactly he was mouthing off,” Finn continues, accent thick. “Since he apparently forgot who took his title, who beat him down into the ground so hard he forgot his own name.”

A hush fell over the crowd; very rarely did any of them try to defend Reigns, and it was no content who they preferred. Which was unfortunate, considering the man’s work ethic, but that wasn’t his problem.

“A month of us running the show, and still people step up to try and knock us down. What more is it going to take for you all to realize that there is nobody who can drag us down? This is our company, and there isn’t a damn soul who can take it from us!”

He relishes the taste of truth, the knowledge of his strength, the strength of his stable. It is his world now—

The lights go out.

Finn startles just as the crowd begins to work itself into a frenzy, his brothers muttering choice curse words as they stumbled into one another in their haste to get their bearings straight.

The lights flicker, once, twice, and then remain completely off.

An excited murmur begins to make its way through the crowd, the only visible lights being the phones and the exit doors at the top of the arena. His eyes wander.

There’s a figure standing in one doorway, silhouetted by the white light from the hallway. Heart in his throat, Finn swings his head towards another exit, where another body awaits. And then in the third doorway, a figure larger than the first two.

Familiar.

Realization hits him like a spear to the gut.

A second passes.

And then another.

Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta.

SHIELD.

Bright, blue light flooded the arena, the beat dropping and the familiar theme song ringing throughout the building. Finn takes in a sharp breath, wild eyes watching as Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns begin to make their way through the crowd, dressed in familiar, black gear and wearing the skeletal masks they’d debuted shortly before Seth’s betrayal.

The crowd’s yelling reaches a fever pitch, shock vibrating through the hundreds of people at the sight of one of the most dominant stables in the history of the company reunited.

Finn parts his legs, stiffens, and waits.

Dean spares Seth a glance, the quirk of his lips hidden by the cloth around the lower half of his face. He sure as hell hopes the asshole trips over the barricade, reminiscent of the isolated incident from years ago; if anybody deserves it, it was him. He himself makes it over perfectly, the swift action coming to him without a thought.

When he had hauled Roman backstage the night Bálor had stolen the title, the older man had been a mess of anger and bitterness. Dean had been a quiet, solid weight to lean on, making sure his friend got to the locker room they were sharing with no trouble from preying eyes. It took a solid hour to bandage Roman up and help him into comfortable clothes, Renee seated next to them and whispering soothing words into both of their ears as Roman simmered and Dean worked.

Renee Young is a bright light and he doesn’t deserve her, not one bit. The thought of his wife brings a silly smile to his face as he began to circle the ring, eyes locked on Finn.

The two of them had managed to get Roman into their car with little difficulty, the trip back to the hotel one of silence until Roman cracked a joke and melted the tension away. They would cut their losses, would lick their wounds, and would go back for more.

Just like always.

He can still vividly remember the exact moment Roman had formulated their plan, this mess of a reunion and bandaging of old betrayals. The man had found him after a physical match against Wyatt, the kind that left Dean aching in the worst ways. Had sat him down, trepidation as clear as day on his face as he shifted back and forth in his seat.

“Bálor’s a problem,” Roman started, voice low. Dean settled further into his seat, attention only diverted when Renee entered the room with a warm smile. He returned the gesture, pulling her close as soon as she settled into the couch next to him.

“Man’s a pain in the ass,” Dean drawled, shooting his brother a tiny smirk. Still, he felt a bolt of anger shoot through him at the reminder of Bálor taking Roman’s title. A slight against one of them was a slight against all of them. “Got something in mind to deal with him?”

“Yeah, but you’re not gonna like it, brother.”

Immediately, there was a shift in the atmosphere. Dean blinked, taking in Roman’s rigid form and the guilt suddenly clouding his eyes. If he could, he’d give Roman the world, and his brother knew that. What could he possibly be thinking of asking that called for guilt? Dean didn’t love easily, but when he did, there wasn’t a price he wouldn’t pay for those he held dear.

Roman knew that, too.

“Spit it out, man,” he finally spoke, tone sober and nothing like his usual self. He could tell when a situation called for seriousness, could be serious when it mattered.

“We can’t take the Club on by ourselves. We…we need him, Dean.”

Him.

Seth.

Dean felt his heartbeat break out into an erratic pace, the feeling of Renee’s hand over his skin doing nothing to slow the vessel down. Roman watched him carefully, looking for any signs of distress, anything that meant he had to nip this bud of an idea before it grew.

“He stabbed us in the back, Rome,” his voice is deceptively soft, albeit enough of a reminder of what kind of hell had followed that steel chair. “He…my head went through cinderblocks. He put my head through cinderblocks, after everything we’d gone through. You’re telling me we need that? Him? Until when? Until he hits us with another chair? Or maybe it’ll be a baseball bat this time, or a sledgehammer, or the stairs!”

Slowly, but surely, his voice rose in volume, and by the time he was done, Dean was yelling, his words bouncing off the falls and falling back inwards to suffocate him; he wasn’t sure if he was breathing. Renee is steadfast in her comfort, moving into his lap and letting him cradle her close as he struggled to regain his composure.

Roman reached out, grabbing Dean’s knee and squeezing softly.

“Never again,” he vowed, voice hard. “Never again will I let him lay a hand on you. Never again will you have to have your back to him. Until I’m dead and my body’s gone cold, I’ll be standing between both of you. He’s different, Dean, but I don’t expect you to change your mind about him. He doesn’t deserve it, and I know, brother, I know there are wounds that time doesn’t heal. I know this is one of them. All I’m asking for is some time for us to tear Finn Bálor’s little fan club apart, enough time to restore order to this place, and then you never have to team up with him again. We serve justice, and then we’re done.”

They lock eyes. Dean finds the sincerity, the promise, burning bright in Roman’s eyes, and Roman finds reluctance in his.

But Roman was a part of his family, his only brother, the rock that withstood his storm. He held just as much of Dean’s heart as Renee, in a different way.

And there wasn’t a damn thing he wouldn’t do for him.

“Fine. Fine, we’ll recruit the little weasel.”

A hand touches his shoulder, and Dean jolts out of the memory, eyes locking with Roman’s as he nods down at him. Something presses against his palm; Seth is handing him a mic.

He takes it. Pulls down the mask, eyes the trio in the ring.

Smirks.

“Well, well, well,” he begins, his words stringing together in a way that sounded both warm and dangerous. He watches the way Finn’s eyes narrow, loves the calculating look. “You boys sure made a lot of claims, hmm?”

He pauses. Let’s his words sink in, waits for the anticipation to begin to mount. The fear; the paranoia. Mind games are what he’s good at.

“You beat down Roman not once, but twice, with no regard for who he is. You stupidly, recklessly, forgot he was a hound of justice long before he was Superman.”

The crowd cheers, unhinged, and Dean moves forward, feels Rollins and Roman following his lead. The energy in the air bleeds into his skin, heartbeat racing and pounding against his chest as he sizes up their opponents. It was a good feeling, a lost feeling, and he drowned himself in it for a moment.

Only a moment, before he grabs a rope and jumps up onto the apron, shortly followed by the others. The crowd’s excitement climbs as he stares Finn in the eye, makes his anger abundantly clear.

This man has put his hands on Roman. A stupid mistake, and Dean will make sure he pays dearly for it.

A slight against one is a slight against all.

“And we hounds of justice? Well, if there’s anything that could bring us out of the shadows together, Bálor, it’s injustice. And this little group you got going over here? The greatest injustice of them all.”

Gallows and Anderson begin moving closer, but it’s isn’t enough.

They will make sure it isn’t enough.

Dean Ambrose is a man of many words, and they are words he knows how to use properly. But he doesn’t have very many left, not for this particular moment.

So, he lets them go, just as Finn’s instincts kick in.

“But don’t worry, we’ll fix that soon enough.”

They pounce.

It’s quick work, really, and momentum is on their side; Dean slams heavily into Gallows, sending the man rolling across the canvas. A kick later and he’s bouncing off the ground, crashing into the tables with little fanfare.

Beside him, Seth does the same to Anderson, locking eyes with Dean only after the fact. Time slows around them, and Dean can almost hear Seth’s question, can almost feel the desperate hope emitting from the younger man’s skin.

He nods, once, twice, and then they’re racing, and flying, and suicide diving into both Anderson and Gallows.

The rush is a drug, but Dean let it go years ago. The euphoria’s nothing compared to the cold kiss of steel he became familiar with.

He didn’t need it—him—any longer; without any fanfare, he climbs back into the ring, where Roman is standing over Bálor. Doesn’t look back to see if Seth is watching.

Doesn’t have to. Doesn’t want to.

Doesn’t need to.

They gather around him, the crowd chanting ‘this is awesome’ without pause. There has been no break in the excessive cheering since long before the beat-down, and it is a liberating thought, knowing that the higher-ups will be immensely pleased with the reaction.

Good. Let the world know who really ran the yard.

Roman throws his head back, hair swinging, and howls like his life depends on it. With a nasty grin, Dean and Seth hoist Bálor’s limp body onto their shoulders, and together, the three of them slam his body down into the canvas. Like riding a bicycle after years of nothing.

Like a homecoming.

Their fists slam together, snarls matching.

A tidal wave of cheers erupts through the crowd, bodies jumping up and down as the Shield stood triumphant, once more, to close out the night.

It’s a good feeling.

It’s an even better sight.

ok, so the basic premise of the original trilogy (episode vi: a new hope, episode v: the empire strikes back, episode vi: return of the jedi) is the galaxy is under the rule of the evil galactic empire and its only opposition is a group of freedom fighters called the rebel alliance. a farm boy, luke skywalker, who is revealed to be a jedi, a person capable of using the force and wielding a lightsaber, becomes a jedi knight in his quest to aid the rebellion in defeating the empire once in for all. as the series progresses it's revealed that luke's father is actually the emperor's apprentice, formerly known as anakin skywalker, a fallen jedi and sith. by the end of the trilogy, luke is a fully fledged jedi knight and fights his father, and darth vader redeems himself by killing the emperor after watching the emperor try to kill his son. luke tries to save him but darth vader dies of his wounds. there's a whole bunch of other things that happen & way more characters but those are the very bare bones of the ot.

the prequel trilogy started in the 90's and ended in the 00s (episode i: the phantom menace, episode ii: attack of the clones, episode iii: revenge of the sith) and centers around luke's father, anakin, and how he went from being a jedi knight to a sith lord. it expands the universe further and also shows what the galaxy was like prior to the events of ANH. again, there's a lot more to it than that, which includes the jedi at their height, anakin's secret wife padme amidala, and way way more, but those are the bare bones.

there is a ton of media outside the main 6 films. (i'm not counting the sequel trilogy, episodes vii-ix. i don't like what they did, they sucked, and i haven't see ep ix and i will probably never. they had potential and they ruined it. so i will not be acknowledging or talking about those aside from the fact that finn deserved his own trilogy and jedi journey <3) there are shows, cartoons, novels, comics, video games. not to mention the masses of fanmade content. ever since disney acquired the rights to star wars, most of that media was relegated to "legends" (most of which is referred to as the EU, or extended universe), which means that they're still acknowledged as star wars stories but considered "old canon.

i know that's a ton of media and that's a lot of content and lore to sift through and it might seem overwhelming but like... i think that's one of the appeals for me, personally. there's so much content, so much to explore, so much more than just space wizards and stuff. there's so many stories, so many people, so many different worlds to read about and explore that like... the possibilities are essentially limitless. there's no "one area" that everyone sticks to in star wars lore, aside from general knowledge of the main movies (episodes i-ix). some people like the old republic era, which takes place thousands of years before the events of the ot. some people really love the prequels, which take place 20-30 yeras prior to the events of the ot. there are people who really like the civil war era, and people who like after. and there are people who love all of them or none of them or only stick to niche things like a certain planet or group etc etc. there's so much to choose from to love or hate or interact with. especially because there's so many aspects to every piece of media that can be talked about and explored. there's always something else to find. there's humans, jedi, sith, aliens, droids, planets, politics, plots, spaceships, bounty hunters... sky's the limit.

i think a big part of it for me is that i grew up with it. i understand there are people who get into it when they're kids or adults and they're not into it, and i'm not going to pretend that it's the end-all be-all for space fantasy media. but growing up, it was so fun. it was so full of imagination and possibility and it never got old for me. i loved the prequels dearly. because i grew up with it im familiar with the material and ive always known people who like similar things about it and view it the same way so even as ive gotten older i never really *grew out of it*. i thought i did, i thought i loss interest, but i came back once the mandalorian began to air and have been active ever since.

the thing that's kept me active, that's gotten me involved, that i still have love for and enjoy, is the people interact with because of it.  i met my best friend euie @ligaw because of it. i've made friends & mutuals as an adult because of it (not limited to but including @rogueninja @kasseivor @sarma @coredrive). i'm mutuals with people who also enjoy it and talk about it with me (including but not limited to stina-adrien @gayluke and y @goldennavenue.) and i'm mutuals with people who've made original characters from it, like nina @dilfbailorgana and h @edeemir, who have in turn inspired me to create characters & have caused me to begin creating original characters again as well. my friends and i create from it, complain about it, trash it, and love it. it makes it worth it, i think. my favorite part of tumblr + one of my longtime favorite pieces of media = a whole mess but there's a lot to love and laugh at.

that being said... not only is there a mass of content to get into, there are many issues within both the media itself as well as those who participate in it, both the fans and the creators that predate the disney-ifcation of the franchise. i know *every* media and fandom has its issues, from bad to worse, but it would be remiss, to say the least, if i didn't mention it beforehand. there are both past and ongoing issues of racism, whitewashing, islamophobia, antisemitism, etc. it's present in the media and also present in the fandom, which is something i think anyone who's thinking about getting into star wars should know about.

so like... there it is. it's not perfect by any means, there are many issues both in fandom and in the media, but i still think there's so much to love, it CAN improve and it SHOULD improve and i love it enough to want to see that happen, + the fact that i get to share the good and the bad with cool people makes still caring about star wars worth it ❤️

it’s cold, it’s awful weather. it’s been like this for some time now and honestly what the frig mother nature

the rain is beautiful, i love rain sm idk bout y’all

but sometimes when it gets toooooo chilly and there’s been a bad cold and fever outbreak around the place, obviously the rainy weather is a lil irritating

especially because...yay! you’ve been cursed with a cold thanks to someone at school

fuck i get colds all the time ugh

but that’s only because i’m vegetarian and don’t take my iron tablets even though i got bad iron deficiency fwefjwehjhe

anyway

so you’ve had to miss out on school this week because you’re sick as a dog and you kinda feel like you’re on your death bed.

the whole day you finished on some homework that was due and napped and watched tv. literally it’s been pretty boring, and you’ve already gone through a box of tissues because jEsus how much mucas does your body actually have lmfao. 

also you’re completely drugged up from the amount of cold and flu tablets you’ve taken.

your mum tried making you drink some of that nasty ass ‘strawberry’ flavoured cough medicine even though it tastes like a burnt chemical that lives within the depths of brutal hell and NOTHING like strawberry. but you cried hard enough that she gave up on trying.

you miss finn because he’s at school and you want to cry. 

but you know what? finn being the best boyfriend, he’ll text you every morning that you’ve been sick this week wishing for you to feel better and that he’ll see you after school.

 which he always does.

finn would knock on the house door and your mum would let him in, giving him good luck to not get sick as he would make his way to your room

and when you would see him after just blowing your nose, omg the biggest smile would grow upon both of your faces

even though finn kinda scrunches his face up because OBVIOUSLY your body thinks it’s the perfect time to give you a nice coughing fit just after choking out a greeting

“geez you don’t look too good” finn would snicker as he’d sit on the edge of your bed and hand you more homework that was assigned to you by your teachers and chocolate he brought from the store before coming over here. even tho chocolate isn’t the best thing to have when you’re sick, you still gladly take it.

you’ll glare at him as you say, “shut the fUCK up” in a hoarse and dry voice

finn would laugh

so while he’s there, finn likes to make you some soup because ugh we love a boyfriend who can cook

and by cook i mean he just makes two-minute noodles but it’s the thought that c o u n t s

you enjoy snapchatting him when he’s making the soup ( cue the gif from above bois )

he just shakes his head and laughs

finn also refills your glass of water and makes sure you take your tablets at the right time, and as much as you banter him for being a second mum to you

you still love it

at this point he’d be cradling you in his arms from behind on your bed

so at least finn isn’t coping your bad sick breath and if you need the box of tissues, he’s able to grab it for you without you moving.

finn nodded his head, a small chuckle escaping his throat when he heard you laugh

“yeah, it was so funny! he was embarrassed as shit and basically, the whole class paid him out for it for the rest of the lesson”

you were giggling as much as you could before you started to go into a coughing fit, but it was still funny. and you muttered a small, “oh poor guy!” before kindly asking for the box of tissues.

for the rest of the time that finn was there, you guys cuddled and watched a movie

finn likes to banter about you being sick

so when you cough, he’ll dramatically gasp and choke

you groan

also when you have to blow your nose finn just scrunches his face up and sighs heavily

you were so close to deliberately coughing in his face but all you do is just roll your eyes and nudge his stomach with your elbow.

but it’s all for shits and giggles, and honest to god, finn actually loves taking care of you and making sure you’re okay because that’s how great of a boyfriend he is.

and as much as he wants to because he loves affection, you don’t let him kiss you.

sometimes you’ll fall asleep in his arms because you’re so tired from staying up late being sick and such, and finn admires how quiet you are and not blowing snot everywhere lol

also, he may have kissed your forehead a couple of times because he can’t help himself

you never find out tho

when you fall asleep, that’s more of finn’s cue to leave since he sure knows that you won’t be waking up till two hours later. and the boy has to get home before it goes dark - yes, you two live close to one another.

so when you do wake up after a big phat three-hour nap, you’re in awe with how comfortable you are

lmao i literally had a three-hour nap between 3pm-6pm it was amazing

so that’s when you realise that finn literally tucked you into bed, made sure you slept with two pillows, refilled your water one last time and left you a lil note that wrote:

sorry i had to go, i didn’t want to walk home at night and it looked like you really needed to sleep lol. i really hope you get better though because i miss you at school. love you, baby, see you soon. - finnieeee

i know in one of my other posts i compared bellamy to zuko but as of rn he’s more of a jet (charming yet ruthless leader of a group of kids) especially back to whatever episode where he did a speech about privilege and wanting the upper class to do the work for once--> very reminisce of Jet and the freedom fighters. both bellamy and jet are very bitter towards those in power because they did wrong toward their family members. OH BOY my two favorite adventure time characters are finn and fern and i don’t know which one to choose so for the sake of this i’m just going to talk about Both of them...

finn was my absolute favorite character from the get-go ever since i started watching the show when i was a little kid! i think he’s a really realistic and well-rounded character especially in terms of how he emotionally matures throughout the show, i really like that he’s not just a static character but rather he’s someone who learns from his mistakes and actively tries to better himself as a person whenever he does something wrong! watching his character development throughout the course of the show was one of my absolute favorite aspects of it :) it makes him much more of a relatable character i think! i also just love his general optimism and how he’s always willing to do the right thing even if he has to break the rules in order to do so. he's got a good heart but has no problems going against authority if it’s for the greater good in the end and i think that’s a really admirable quality... we stan the neutral good dnd alignment

as for fern!! the moment i saw fern i could tell he was going to be one of my favorite characters and i was absolutely right, i relate to him on such a personal level it’s Scary. “i don’t know how to do this thing by myself because i don’t know what it means to be myself so i’m just going to copy you and never think for myself and hope it works out”... too close to home. he’s bad at social cues, he’s got anxiety, he’s going through a neverending identity crisis, he’s just got a lot of shit going on. (pats his back) me too fern me too... i just wanted him to be happy ok i just wanted him to live a good life and be his own person........(looks away from the finale) he’ll be forever alive in my Heart. i love him a lot he deserved better ok. he’s like... one of my absolute biggest comfort characters i’m just. (starts frantically sobbing)

it’s unironically hard to come up with anything to even write here UMMM if it counts i guess what i would change... i’d have given the show another season to wrap up everything? because everything towards the ending was sort of rushed due to the fact that cn wanted to end it sooner than expected. they should’ve been given more time!

OK THIS ONE IS KIND OF FUNNY i had always known about the show because it started airing when i was a little kid, but i remember for the LONGEST time i thought it was the absolute most boring piece of junk to ever be aired on television. then one day they released an adventure time dlc kit for littlebigplanet 3 (props to anyone who knows/remembers that franchise... my childhood), i think that was around 2015? and i was an absolute lbp FANATIC so naturally i bought the dlc and i ended up thinking wowie i should check out this show more it actually looks kind of fun! and then!! i did that! and i got SUPER obsessed. so shoutout to littlebigplanet for releasing that dlc kit mwah.

ADVENTURE TIME!! i think most people know what it is! but! it’s a tv show created by pendleton ward about a wacky fantasy land called the land of ooo that’s inhabited by lots of strange and mystical people, but most importantly finn and jake! finn’s a human teenager with a kind heart who’s always willing to help others in need and jake’s his adopted brother, a magical dog who can stretch and shapeshift! the show centers around these two dudes who traverse the dnd-inspired land of ooo with their friends, enemies, frenemies, friends-turned-enemies, enemies-turned-friends and A LOT OF OTHER STUFF AND IT’S SUPER COOL AND WACKY AND CRAZY BUT IT CAN ALSO BE REALLY SENTIMENTAL AND SERIOUS AND MAKE YOU CRY AND IT’S GOT A LOT OF GOOD LIFE ADVICE AND MORALS AND I LOVE IT. :D

I don’t have lemon, but I do have many references to food, so this one is actually easier than the last one! This time I pulled from a WIP that’s not quite inactive but not really inactive either. This one has no title, but it’s a Marvel AU after Winter Soldier where Natasha goes looking for who she is again after SHIELD’s secrets get exposed, there’s no Random Secret Family for Clint, and Sharon Carter is heavily involved cause it’s what she deserves. This is where Tony’s called her out of the blue telling her they’re getting lunch together.

Tony has two fashions, "crisp clean suit" and “used to be a roadie for AC/DC”. Today he’s in the latter, a faded Clash tee shirt and jeans. He’s got his sunglasses on, which does nothing to disguise his appearance, but no one comes up to bother him, so he may think it does. Natasha knows better. Ignoring billionaire superheroes is the sort of thing New Yorkers like to do.

“I’ve had a whole bunch of burgers,” Tony tells her, taking a bite of a fry. “Burgers plated with gold, burgers with donut buns, and nothing will ever, ever beat a good old fashioned bacon cheeseburger.”

Natasha takes a sip of her Coke. “I wonder why people ever thought you were a frivolous asshole, with a burger past like that.”

“I’m still a frivolous asshole, don’t you worry.” Tony dips his fry in her ketchup. Natasha calmly swipes his pickle resting by his burger in retaliation. “So? How goes life post implosion?”

She shrugs, plucking the pickle on the side off of his tray. “Doing the job I should have been doing. You?”

“Bored, mostly. Now that SHIELD’s gone, Fury’s much harder to find and I can’t needle him.”

“Don’t know what you’re talking about. Fury died in the dismantling of SHIELD.”

Tony gives her such a dirty look that she can’t help but grin. “I’m not stupid, Romanoff.”

“Not right now, anyway.” She finishes his pickle. “What did you call me for, anyway?”

“What, I can’t make social calls?”

“Do you?”

“No. People are the worst.” He swirls his straw in his milkshake. “I know what you’ve been up to.”

ah that’s a little hard it’s outwardly appereance vs inwardly feelings and they never match up, asher definitely is arrogant, but he is also very aware that anything that people admire about him and his skills is just a result of privilege and money and people wanting to crawl up his ass, so he’s like, yeah i’m fucking good at this but that doesn’t mean shit i had like 20 tutors since i was a toddler anyone could do this with my resources

teddy is the most lustful which is always very fun cause it’s unexpected, maybe he got a little messed up along the way but physical affection is just his biggest love language he needs to be shown that he is wanted to be happy and he needs to be shown often and thats the same way he tends to express his feelings for his s.o. (which is a huge problem between him and zeke oof), but also outside of a relationship he tends to get his self-worth reaffirmed through sexual encounters

hmmm finn has a crazy fast metabolism so he just needs to eat constantly to keep his mass it actually drives him crazy he’d much rather be able to bulk up properly, asher is the lightest eater, though a lot of that is also circumstantial, he’d be eating more if he wasn’t going through things, but still probably less than all the others, i’ll count gyo out cause he actually does not have to eat technically, so he doesn’t always, teddy is also a fickle eater with his eating disorder, but he’s being healthy atm

Most ticklish VS Cruellest tickler

never thought about it, asher is the most ticklish under regular circumstances, his meds make him a little numb, ace would be the cruellest tickler

Brainiest VS Brawniest

despite discrediting himself constantly by saying ‘i had all the help money can buy it does not count’ asher is still the brainiest, straight a student, speaks multiple languages, can play multiple instruments, is juggling two degrees and a mental breakdown etc etc excelling in all of it (especially the break down) i guess he could be considered gifted but he’d refuse to accept that denotation, he’s diligent at best, and was not allowed to function any other way, in his mind it’s really not that impressive he had no other choice and who knows how many people just praise him unfounded to please him/his father

gyo is the brawniest, no question, not all brawn no brains you need both to get where he is but his martial might is literally legendary

Most forgiving VS Most grudgeful

teddy is the most forgiving, not necessarily always because the person deserves it, but because he just wants them to deserve it, he just wants to believe people are good and have good intentions, finn is the most grudgeful (his father is a special exception i suppose) he still hasn’t forgiven kitty for killing herself after what.. 10 years or so? to a point of major detriment to his own life by giving a wide berth to anything that reminds him of her which is a lot of the things he loves/loved

Physical vices (drugs, sex, alcohol) VS Spiritual vices (Lust, wrath, envy)

god i kinda just wanna put finn on both ends of that question, he seriously is the most susceptible to vices in general regardless of physical or spiritual, and he knows, and he’s trying to be better (good thing he knows terrible examples about drugs and alcohol both so he’s pretty good at staying away from those at least)

Optimistic VS Pessimistic

teddy and noor share the optimistic spot, teddy generally believes more in the good in the world and that things will be good, noor is more active about it, their mindset is more of the ‘things might be bad but i WILL change them i don’t care who tells me i can’t’ variant, asher is the most pessimistic, but once again i feel it’s not fair to call him out on that it’s not actually in his character it’s, again, his circumstances, but i’m not sure there’s gonna be a lot of space for optimism left in his life after everything anyways so i guess it’s really him

Most secretive VS Most open

gyo is the most secretive, ace too to an extend and asher certainly has his big secret, but gyo just wont tell you a thing, you’ll hardly get him to talk at all, especially about personal subjects, devin might be the most open, teddy is all trusting and optimistic but he’s been burned often enough to know to keep some things to himself, devin is a little more oblivious to that, or maybe it’s not really that, it’s not naivite, it’s him just believing that it is the best to put everything out there so there is no space for misunderstandings

none of my characters are overly superficial it’s hard to say if anyone of them would judge based on appereance, i want to say it’s probably noor, but it’s not really about looks, it’s more that they tend to stick to first impressions a lot, when they have an image of a person in their mind they have a hard time seeing anything but that, and get confused often when they get blindsided by traits that do not fit the idea they have of that person, finn definitely judges the most by personality, he tends to be hypervigilant around people, probing their emotional state, checking that everything is okay, it’s that classic abuse survivor habit, always making sure everything is alright and there’s no hidden threat

Best singer VS Tone deaf

finn is the best singer by far, he’s good he’s really really good but it’s one of these things he’s connected to kitty so that’s not always easy for him, noor is absolutely tone deaf it’s awful they are not insecure about a lot of things but only people they trust will ever hear them sing cause they know they won’t judge them too much

Cast iron stomach VS Most squeamish

ace can and will eat anything, he grew up in a shitty situation where they did not always have access to proper food so he’s not picky about quality or freshness, food is always a little complicated for teddy cause he has to train himself to eat regularly, on top of that he will not eat just anything, he is a vegetarian but also the kind of person that was a picky eater growing up and is holding on to some dislikes that probably only exist in his head at this point, it’s about the consistency of eggs for example, or certain combinations he’ll just not eat or even try, finns body can’t handle histamies super well so he has to be careful too, raw tomatoes even give him allergic reactions, but all of that is less about him being squeamish, he’s more the try anything once kind of person

Shows most skin VS Covers up most

i’d say it’s a cross between finn and noor for most skin, finn just enjoys being mostly uncovered, noor just likes the look of revealing clothing, asher is definitely famously the one to cover up the most, maybe that’s also a weird defense mechanism but mostly he’s just been brought up in a rather conservative household and that notion stuck

Most religious VS Most atheistic

none of them are really religious, in a ‘greek gods do exist’ kind of setting that’s a weird thing to be anyways?? is it still religious when you know gods exists/you are part god lol?? noor also exists in a setting where they, as in the leaders of the empire, are considered to have divine right to rule and are basically worshipped themselves plus i have not yet figured out in what way religion and a pantheon even exists in their world, gyo most definitely worships noor in a way but lets not go there, asher is by no means religious, but he enjoys the, uhm, quiet contemplation and prudence i guess? the sense of reverence and tradition, he likes the idea of believing in a guiding power, but he does not believe himself (he’d have a bone to pick with god if he did), he does however go to church with his family not only for outward appereance there is in some weird way something calming he takes from that (the congregation is not conservative in the gay hating way so that helps), i think gyo might actually be the most atheistic, even when confronted with god-like beings he’s more like ‘you can’t do shit i pick my own destiny and i’ll fight you if i have to’, he can’t take them seriously and he sure as hell does not consider them superior in any way (tbf the glimpse he gets at their world makes that very easy he basically just brawls his way out of hell and everybody there is like ??? help ??)

Biggest reader VS Hasn’t touched a book in 3 years

asher is the biggest reader, he’ll read non-stop if you let him it’s such a good way to get out of his head, so it’s a bit of an compulsive habit, teddy definitely hasn’t touched a book.. in basically ever, it’s the dyslexia it’s really not his favorite thing to do it’s exhausting and frustrating, but he’d probably go for audio books every now and then, it’s similar for ace but he has more patience to chew his way through a book

Best at self-care VS Most self-destructive

oh boy, noor is the very best at self-care, cause they are always so well cared for? they were raised in an environment where everyone always made sure they were happy and comfortable, so they themselves value these things a lot and go searching for them even if nobody offers them from the outside, asher is by far the most destructive, he’s the last priority on his list the only reason he is still alive (if you want to call it that) is to shield other people, so self-care seems utterly pointless at this point, the one thing he does still do is grooming but for him that’s more just a part of functioning than anything that has to do with making himself feel better

Most flirtatious VS Most modest

under different circumstances asher would be the most flirtatious, and he still is sometimes when the situation calls for it, but just ignoring all the trauma and everything, just looking at the person he used to be/will maybe be again, he just likes schmoozing and dazzling people, making them feel welcome and appreciated, he’s oozing charme all over the place (to be fair none of this is sexual/romantic in any way, it’s more just his base socializing mode) to a point where he gets in trouble cause he not only leads people on unintentionally but also drives devin into jealous fits, it’s really hard to figure out who’s the most modest actually, gyo is a brick wall but sometimes social events require friendly mingling and he is very much able to, you know, for the sake of the empire, but he’s usually calm and collected and unapproachable, ace on the other hand never ever tries to attract other people, but on the contrary to gyo his wall is hidden, he does not let people close, but let’s them believe differently, and  sometimes has a bit of a mischievous behaviour about him that could be seen as flirtatious in some ways

Most outdoorsy VS Most indoorsy

teddy is by nature (ha) the most outdoorsy, it’s his domain, he’s truly at home surrounded by plants and animals, devin is the most indoorsy, locked behind his computer/tv most of the time, ace is a close second but he does get out more, training or hanging out in the streets

I’m gonna talk Star Wars.

I been told there’s a bunch of drama (mostly shipping related?) going down RN so let me be clear, I don’t have time for that. This is the opinion of a casual fan (EXTREMELY casual fan), who doesn’t engage with Star Wars outside of the movies, and doesn’t think about it in between releases. I don’t know Star Wars lore and I don’t care. And I definitely don’t care who you ship/who you hate/what BNF was a jerk to you/yadda yadda seen it all before hun.

I know a leeeeeeetle bit more about the outer Star Wars universe now thanks to The Mandalorian, which I love to pieces, and which reminded me why I loved the original trilogy more than any of the sequel/prequel movies ever did. Mandalorian has a way of bringing the fun along with the drama and the action.

Anyway so here’s a random fan’s messy, undeveloped thoughts a month after finally seeing TRoS.

Honestly my beef with it is this: Finn. I loved TFA because of Finn. Because of Rey too - and Poe - but mainly I stan Finn. Because I just think Storm Trooper-turned-Rebel is too fucking awesome.

And the way he was depicted - not some cold hard killer, not some unfeeling robot who needs to relearn empathy - but someone with an inner kindness and sense of justice. That was so unexpected. I never dreamed up a Storm Trooper defecting, let alone one who defected because he’s just too damn human to be programmed into the perfect soldier.

And I feel like... the movies ended Finn’s story there. In the first movie. It’s like they had this great, captivating idea - “what if a Storm Trooper joined the rebels?” - and then had no follow up for it, but did it anyway. He’s got some cool moments in the other movies, of course he does. But, idk. I just thought it was all gonna have more of an impact. It really became Rey’s trilogy, and I suppose it was from the start, but I thought there’d be a bit more sharing.

Finn > Kylo Ren. Not a ship thing, just a “which character do you want to know more about?” thing. For me that was definitely Finn. And I feel like this is a theme in my life? I join a fandom and instantly fall for the character who to me seems to have a bunch of potential and an awesome personality, but the writers don’t take them where I’d hoped, and instead shunt them aside to focus on exploring some brooding edgelord.

I get that redemption stories are powerful and I like an anti-hero as much as anyone else. Actually, I loved Rey being someone with the ability to raise Kylo up. I don’t hate Kylo Ren at all and I always expected him to come back to the light side at least to a certain degree (I was almost wrong, judging by the scrapped script, but in the end they did what I figured they would). After all, he’s Han and Leia’s kid, he must have light in him somewhere - and writers bank on audiences getting excited over the question of how he’d rediscover it, and whether it’d be in time (considering the atrocities he’d been involved in already, “in time” has a very vague meaning).

I don’t hate Kylo and Rey facing The Big Bad together in the end, although I did think it was a little "isn’t this the sort of story I liked to read in middle school?” But yeah, it was too predictable to be disappointing.

What was a huge disappointment was that Finn wasn’t there too. I know he was off being awesome with Poe but I really REALLY don’t think that’s where he needed to be. He’s fucking force sensitive. Let him use the force!!

What I wish had happened was, when Rey does her “I must face him alone” thing and winds up cut off from Finn and Poe and has to deal with Kylo - Finn should’ve gone too. There should have been some other way, even an extremely difficult one, where he goes after her. Means Poe goes back alone, but Poe’s also got a subplot of his own that doesn’t have room for two. He’s got to take the lead in a seemingly unwinnable battle and that’s the sort of thing that is even more heart-wrenching when your friends are absent and in trouble themselves somewhere else. Poe seems to like Rey in TRoS, but he’s also frustrated by her. Poe’s heart is with the war. Where’s Finn’s heart? I think it’s with both Rey and the war, but I think Rey should have gotten precedence. After all, we just finished establishing that Finn is NOT the perfect soldier. He does what he wants. There ought to be huge potential for Finn to grapple with light or dark himself, but I guess... no?

Rey could have had her little tete-a-tete with Kylo all by themselves while Finn’s out struggling to get to her and taking a long time. I just needed him to join them before the end. Be the unpredictable element. Finn doesn’t have a spiritual connection with Kylo Ren. Finn has no reason to trust him. What if Finn showed up right when Kylo’s blown back to his death in that crevice and has the chance either to save him or let him fall? Either way, we could still have Kylo’s spirit coming back to breathe life back into Rey. Preferably while Finn’s holding her. I guess then there’d be less kissing, though. :) I’m okay with that.

I don’t hate Kylo/Rey as a ship. It’s a normal ship tbh. Everyone likes the bad guy. Wolverine fucks Mystique every chance he gets and how about that girl who fell head over heels for Khan in the original Star Trek? For Wolvie I’m not sure if it’s a complex thing or just lust anymore, but he always comes back to the X-men. Khan girl left with Khan, but only after saving the Enterprise from him. Good guy/bad guy ships can got all sorts of unexpected ways, no one really expects she’ll be straightening his tie on his way off to his perfectly normal white collar job while she stays home with their adorable, Force sensitive child and promises him he’ll get lucky if he’s home on time. (I’d love to say Rey/Kylo Ren is doing more than just capitalizing on that dynamic but uh, I think it’s too late for that.)

But that doesn’t (shouldn’t!) mean that story comes at the expense of everyone else’s story. It could be more powerful, not less, with a third player. Or even a fourth. Instead they drew a line between Rey & Kylo/ Finn & Poe and sent them in different directions. That might have been fine with me, as much as I wanted Finn to help Rey, if both storylines had been equally powerful. But they weren’t! One was just a war! It had lots of cameos and lots of typical “we’re losing! wait! there’s an entire fleet of ships beyond those clouds!” moments. At the time I turned to my BF and said “Forth Riders of Rohan!”

Like come on.

I enjoyed the movie. It just left such a pile of could-have-beens behind that it really cuts back on that enjoyment.

IMO, they should have done something different in TLJ. If they’d set things up for this movie more in TLJ, I might not feel so cheated. It’s almost like you can just skip TLJ and just watch the first and third to get the story here. And speaking of TLJ, I haven’t mentioned Rose, and it’s only because 1) yeah she deserved so much better! and 2) I can barely even remember her, because she had the misfortune of being introduced in TLJ, which has now been rendered only semi-relevant, and then was for the most part absent in TRoS. Another missed opportunity. It’s like the writers went “Let’s introduce a character who’s just gone through a war-related trauma and continues in fight in that same war, because that sort of strength resonates with people! But like with Finn we’re not gonna bother creating any follow-up to that so her entire story will pretty much be over as soon as you meet her.”

Big fat MEH to all of this.

But for all the disappointments, I still LOVE Finn/Rey/Poe. I love it the same way I loved Luke/Leia/Han. The fun is there, the camaraderie is there - the stuff that makes you give a damn when bad things happen to them is there. The beginning of TRoS that gave us Finn, Rey, and Poe wandering around together was my favorite bit since Rey flew Han’s ship. The dynamic was almost the same as the original trio. It was almost there, it was so close I could taste it.

Mandalorian, you’ve managed to win back my heart to the fandom. I’m counting on you!

My thoughts on the Dean Ambrose situation.

I may be wrong, but this just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve been a wrestling fan too long to believe that WWE would announce that Deans contract isn’t getting renewed.

WWE has never done this in recent years, even going back to last year when Neville walked out and left his contract to expire, we all knew yet WWE never announced it until it did.

Just last night on Raw it looked like we were going to potentially see a storyline building between Hunter and Dean. Dean has given so much to this company, up until last year Dean was the one on the main roster who had competed in the most matches.(house shows,TV and PPV’s)

Dean has done almost everything there is in WWE, except win a rumble and headline Wrestlemania. He was the first member of the shield to become a grand slam champion and the longest reigning US champion.

WWE has been booked around Ambrose,Reigns and Rollins. It’s obvious that those three guys are who the McMahon’s can call upon and are always on TV. They’ve always been sure to call on those guys and make sure that they aren’t forgotten.

There’s always been so much hype between the three shield guys. Dean is a multiple IC champion and multiple tag champ. He’s held the US title, money in the bank contract and WWE championship.

He’s a part of the most popular stable of this century, if not the entirety of the WWE.

He’s gained two lifelong friends,his brothers and his wife from this company, and when the shield was coming up they had control in what the shield was gonna do.

I just don’t see how in 7 years, Dean doesn’t have more control now than then.

We all know Dean is so intelligent when it comes to his charector.

Yeah, this recent run from October has been shitty. But how in three months could he just decide to leave? Why not just sit down and talk to Vince and explain how he’s feeling? If it was a simple character change or more character control he was wanting, do you not think Vince would do that to keep one of his top guys? Of course he would. Someone like Zack Ryder or Curt Hawkins(ily boys) I don’t think he would. But fucking Dean Ambrose? Of course he would. The guy is a top draw and part of The Shield.

Deans spoken before about how he’s glad he got out of the Indy’s because of what his Moxley charector had to go through just to be Mox and how he couldn’t do that now.

I think this is a work, especially because of what happened on Raw last night, with him getting in Hunters face and just being ruthless and not caring. Then the potential pipe bomb that was cut off by Nia Jax.

If Dean was going to throw a pipe bomb and stayed in the ring longer than he was meant to, they would’ve sent Nia out during commercial or he would’ve cut one during commercial.

WWE wouldn’t have announced him leaving so soon, espically with Wrestlemania coming up where they need their top guys to build storylines around and sell tickets. Out of WWE’s main roster, their top draws are Becky, Daniel, AJ and Charlotte. On Raw it’s Seth,Dean, Roman, Finn, Ronda and Brock.

Ronda and Brock are draws for the casual fans. The ones who just tune in because they know who they are.

There’s Roman, who unfortunately can’t be a mania this year and potentially next. He was the face of the company and will be again. I want my big dog back more than ever.

There’s Daniel who everyone loves, because how can you hate the guy? He was everyones number one for so long. Hell, the evil vegan is even starting to get over.

There’s Charlotte,Finn and AJ who people love just for their pure wrestling ability and how well they work in the ring.

There’s Becky and Seth, who rn is everyone’s favourite, they’re at the top of their games and are getting that treatment or else fans would riot.

Then there’s Dean, the guy who has fought and fought and fought for his entire life, to get to where he is. Who was hooked on drugs and lost his first chance at the WWE because of it, then he changed up his act. He shouldn’t have made it, but he did. The WWE gave him that chance and he proved everyone wrong. The fans love him.

WWE would be silly to loose him and to announce it on social media where everyone knows, espically with All Elite Wrestling just being announced. It’d be like Vince just being like,”there’s one of my top guys, go take him.” He isn’t that stupid.

I think it’s a work, I think it’s leading up to Dean bringing out more mox, where he doesn’t care who he hurts, who he insults, he’s telling the truth and he’s gonna fight for what he wants.

Like him saying to HHH,”you didn’t believe in him back in Florida when we were riding in a $500 car. You just thought he was some hot shot, but I believed in him!” Hello, why would this new Dean charector admit to believing in Seth when he’s meant to hate his guts? When he demanded a match from Hunter and when he seen hunter walking away, just to follow him threw the ropes and be like,”Do you need to ask for permission from your father in law?” Dude, that’s totally just to get a reaction from Hunter and to wind Hunter up. It’s a typical feud starter what they did.

I think this is leading up to something at Mania, I think it’s to somehow bring out more of the Dean we know Jon can create and portray. Why would he give up 8 years with a company over 3 months of a character he doesn’t like? It doesn’t make sense.

I think their plan is to get rid of this Dean that’s a germaphobe by introducing more pipe bombs, more attitude towards athourity figures and just beating the shit out of people. Cause what are they gonna do? Suspend him? Fire him? Dude will be “leaving” before mania so what’s the point?

I think they’re going with the storyline of Dean Ambrose being pissed he doesn’t get what he deserves, he’s been treated like dirt and always been a third when it comes to Seth and Roman. Vince has always believed in Roman, HHH’s first NXT baby is Seth and Hunter will always have Seth’s back. Hunter was the reason Dean lost the shield the first time around. And he never got the pay back for that. Seth and Roman have both versed HHH at Mania, why not have Dean do it as well.

They said they were bringing in a new era into WWE, what better way to do it then have it feel more real by having Dean Ambrose of all people cutting loose and being Mox? To have a hardcore match at Mania against the creator of the attitude era and the guy who we all wish could’ve been a part of it.

What if it’s just a way for WWE to slowly say goodbye to the PG era by having Hunter and a more ruthless Ambrose going one on one at Mania?

I just, i don’t think WWE would announce it so soon. Especially with a star like dean.

I could be in denial, but I won’t believe this until I see it with my own two eyes.

I don’t think Dean would show up in another wrestling company either, he’s far too loyal for that shit.

Also, adding this in because idgaf and my shield heart called for it. Do you really think he’d give up his wrestling soulmate and best friend, his brothers? They’ve got an unbreakable bond. They’ve all said when they retire from wrestling they wanna do it together in a last shield triple threat. That’s how much they care about each other, they joined the main roster together and want to leave it together.

They’re the boys who all held the wwe title on the same night,I just don’t see this bond being broken because of something as little as a charecters development.

Watching both Beatles episodes back to back so I’m going ahead and posting this right after 5x01. Again, bc I suck at this rewatch

hey ive been trying to figure out how to do this for awhile and since some anons have asked im gonna try 2 articulate my feelings about f*nn and this is not going to be very polite and im sorry, its nothing personal and if you have a perspective on him that i dont its fine and i absolutely get you and im glad you can enjoy that! i just wanted to try and work through how the fuck i feel about him and this is ultimately a pretty personal post and not a Manifesto on How F*nn Is Bad (i dont think he is, particularly, ftr), so like, if youre not interested which I CANNOT FAULT YOU FOR AT ALL, just know that its cool to go on! this isn’t trying to start shit or anything, i genuinely dont want to, im just writing this for Me, basically. its alright.

what...does f*nn have even. he’s good in the ring but he’s surrounded by people who are better. he doesn’t have a character. what motivates him? what the fuck is he even fighting for? what is his personality, even? he absorbs the storylines of everyone around him in any feud he does too often for him to be as underdeveloped as he is and yet we are here and WHY???

i mean. apollo. let’s look at apollo! apollo is similarly kinda underdeveloped character-wise and most of who he is comes from who he is irl, and people don’t really play characters up irl! but like. it’s not glaring in the same way f*nn is, because

1) apollo got called up SUPER SUPER EARLY in nxt where f*nn had YEARS to develop a character and still holds a spot as longest reigning nxt champion, and

2) apollo plays a support role! he’s not a main event player (which is fucking criminal in and of itself but thats another issue) and him being underdeveloped+not as fleshed out lends itself pretty well to him supporting people however they need support at the moment. it’s not Ideal but it works well for who he is in the context of story stuff, which is not the case for f*nn

(also 3 secretly but apollo’s moveset is actually really varied and interesting which f*nn’s is...not but that’s a subjective thing obviously lol)

like. f*nn is just. such a nothing of a wrestler. i’m sorry but genuinely i don’t know or understand what there is there. he doesn’t have a character besides...vagueing people on twitter until he gets what he wants and yes okay i know that’s not an entirely true unbiased thing to say and im sorry but also i dont think im exactly Wrong

i also want luke to keep spendin more time with danny tho, hes really been helpin him get to a better point in workin through his issues and not lettin his emotions get the best of him while fighting, luke really needs that emotional support and advice rn and i think it helps get through to him more when its comin from someone who also has powers. luke knos the other characters of colour can relate on the race front but i think he really feels disconnected from everyone bc of his powers and not always havin someone to talk to. so overall: A+ fuckin team up man

Anti p much adopted Robbie as his baby brother like right away(and Marvin teased him about "collecting brothers" but Antitold him to fuck off. He will collect a hundred brothers if he wantsto. All the borthers. Let him have them.) and he's really protectiveof him. But amongst many other things, he's loud, still doesn't fullyunderstand his own strength and expresses affection through physicalcontact a lot, and that's all something that on most days Robbiedoesn't really want any of. So it took them a bit of work to beProper Good Siblings but they got there and they're really close now.Anti doesn't have the patience to teach Robbie stuff but they hangout and play a lot, and Anti likes getting Robbie cool gifts (likehis chewy necklace and a couple other stim toys). He's also veryproud of Robbie no matter what he does. Robbie calls him Annie.

In my verse, Marvin isn't the reason Robbie exists, but he stilllikes him a lot. Robbie is absolutely fascinated with magic andMarvin is more than happy to entertain him. He also likes setting uppuzzles and games for Robbie that they can do together and bond over,and he was the one who got Robbie legos to help him with his finemotor skills. When he's hurt/scared/needs help, Marvin is one of thepeople Robbie usually runs to (Anti being the other), and Marvin willdrop pretty much anything to help him. Marvin also knows decent firstaid, how to treat/stitch up wounds and a bit of basic healing magic,so he can fix Robbie up if he happens to lose a limb or two. Also,Marvin likes to draw and sometimes he'll just do that while Robbiesits next to him working on a colouring book of his own. Robbie callshim Marr (previously Ma, but Marvin very quickly denied that).

At first Jackie didn't know what to make of Robbie bc all he knewwas that he's a zombie, so Jackie was scared he would be a danger tohis family. When it turned out that Robbie is just an uncoordinatedsweetheart, he instantly grew on him. He's one of the two people whousually cook for Robbie (he doesn't need to eat, but he likes to),and just like Marvin, he knows how to fix him up too. Robbie looks upto him, both bc he's tall and strong and bc he's a hero, and Jackieis a big softie who's convinced he doesn't deserve that adoration.Robbie is very much aware of what's between Jackie and Marvin, and sowhen Marvin is sad and Robbie doesn't know how to help him, he'llfind Jackie and drag him over by the hand, all the while repeating"Marr sad, hel' Marr, love Marr". Robbie calls him Jee (heshortened Jackie into just one syllable).

Chase and Robbie get along well, though they don't hang out thatmuch bc Chase is busy with his own life and kids, but Robbie is likea kid in a lot of ways and Chase has undeniable experience on thatfront. He loves playing with Robbie or telling him stories or singingto him (Robbie can't sing but he hums along enthusiastically), and hedefinitely has a drawing or two from him on his fridge. He's also theother person who will cook for Robbie sometimes. Robbie has only metChase's kids a couple times before for everyone's good, bc Robbiedoesn't really know his own strength and gets startled easily bystuff no one really sees coming. He's also usually the one to fix upany tears in Robbie's clothes (if not him then Marvin). Robbie justcalls him Chase, tho sometimes he'll try to call him "bro"and get stuck on making "brr" noises bc it's amusing.

Schneep enjoys Robbie's company bc he can be surprisingly tame andquiet. Their friendship started with just Schneep fixing Robbie upevery time he got hurt and Jackie or Marvin couldn't help, and Robbiestarted liking him bc he would always give him sweets or stickers andwould always be very gentle with him. Now Robbie will sometimes justsit in Schneep's office while Schneep is working on his own things,colouring or drawing or building stuff, or maybe practising signing.Schneep likes having him around bc he's good company who doesn't makemuch noise or demand his attention a lot. Sometimes Robbie will reachover and pat him on the head though bc while he doesn't exactly likephysical contact, he's learned from Anti that patting ppl on the headis a Good Thing to show that you Love Them, and Schneep always smilesat him sweetly when he does that. Robbie calls him Schneep, Sheep orHen (from Henrik).

Robbie's relationship with Shawn Flynn didn't exactly startsmooth. To be precise, it started with Robbie knocking stuff over inShawn's workshop and wanting to adopt every plushie he saw. Robbiestill feels bad about it. Shawn knows he doesn't have the patience orcapacity to handle Robbie for long, but he tries to visit him asoften as he can and bring him little gifts to show that he's not mad.Robbie usually gives him little drawings in return, and don't tellanyone, but Shawn keeps all of them tucked away in a separate drawer.Robbie calls him Finn (most egos call him Flynn, bc Shawn sounds thesame as Seán).

Most things Dark knows about Robbie he knows from Anti. Theyreally don't hang out much. Dark knows he wouldn't be able to put upwith Robbie for long, and if this were the old Dark, he'd just takehis frustration out on Robbie and enjoy making him cry. But thisisn't the old asshole Dark, so he mostly just avoids Robbie until heknows how to handle him. But just like even if you don't like kidsyou should never be mean to them, Dark is never mean to Robbie ifRobbie approaches him. He usually just smiles, says something nice inresponse to whatever Robbie has just told him and moves on with hisday. Robbie finds him very cool and mysterious, and the other egosfind it amusing, but he thinks Dark is a very pleasant person, he'sjust quiet. He also understands that Anti loves him very much. Heusually approaches Dark to give him flowers, because he sees Darkwalking around with a lapel flower sometimes and deduced that okay,he must like flowers then. Robbie calls him Dark or Darr.

Wilford is not allowed around Robbie bc he keeps trying to get himinto dangerous shit. Robbie kind of likes him, kind of doesn't, bcWilford gives him candy, smells nice and is Very Interesting, buthe's also a sensory overload on two legs. He recognises now whenWilford is trying to talk him into something reckless that the restof the egos wouldn't approve of, and his Perfect Response to it issticking his tongue out at Wilford. No one knows where he got thatfrom, but it's absolutely hilarious to watch. Robbie calls him Willor Wilf.

Host very openly calls Robbie his friend, and everyone wassurprised the first time he did that. Most of Host's projects aredark and lonely, except for when he's working on teaching Robbie signlanguage with Oliver. Without actively trying, Robbie can cheer himup or just make his day a little better, even if it sometimesinvolves sticking band-aids onto Host's face when his eyes arebleeding really badly. Robbie sometimes brings him flowers to cheerhim up (he probably gets his love for flowers from Jackie'sinfluence) and Host keeps them on his desk in his recording studio.Robbie calls him Host or Hosh.

Bing adores kids and so he adores Robbie too. If Robbie is doingsomething noisy and just...all over the place, chances are Bing isinvolved. He'll never do super dangerous stuff with him likeskateboarding, but he's definitely guilty of introducing Robbie tothe magic that is water balloons. Bing sees Robbie as a little cousinwho isn't entirely human just like him. Robbie used to just call himBing, but once he called him Bee and Bing laughed at it, so now heonly calls him Bee.

Google Red, Green and Blue don't really care about Robbie, butOliver finds him adorable and unlike the other three, gives him thecredit he deserves for his intelligence. Oliver teaches Robbie signlanguage along with Host, so he spends a lot of time with him whenhe's not working. Outside of lessons they don't get to hang out a lotbc Oliver is busy working with his brothers, but he'll never shooRobbie away when he approaches him (and once the other egos startmoving out, they do start spending more time together). Robbie usedto see Oliver as some sort of teacher, but when he said it Oliverwent "wait i thought we were friends?" and Robbie gotreally happy about that, so now they have a closefriendship/brotherly bond. Robbie calls the Googles collectively Googor Googly, Red and Blue just that, Green Gree or G'ee, and OliverOli.
