yellow rose isn’t super high on my list of priorities to update (i think the oneshot is interesting on its own) but one day,,,, it’s part of the many aus cherri and i have but it’s the longest for sure. the doc for just this au is like 100k words long on its own. at the time i draft this cherri and i are actively writing smth else for it in another tab. theres like 4 offshoots and im obsessed w all of them. we had to make ocs about this one. i’m excited to eventually add more to this series

actually that’s one of the scenes i’m most excited for and most dreading adding. we made a backstory oc and im SO attached to him and im excited to post a thing out there w him but. ough. whatever cringe is dead i’ll get there eventually and brute force my way into attaching you to our funky little robot guy

also love that this fic forced me to be decided on a docv characterization that i have to stick to. he may be a canon guy to martyn’s vtuber lore but he’s my oc now too

the funny thing abt blindsided is i know all the plot chronologically but now how to Present it which is part of why i haven’t continued too much. eventually i will but until then know that one of the scenes im sitting on which has been fully written is one i think about constantly. hopefully when i post it cherri’ll let free the comic she did for it

when i get involved w peopel i always very quickly get the sense that the other person likes me a lot more than i like them which makes me feel so uneasy and uncomfortable and guilty, like im puttin on an act and trying not to get caught. but also like mad that theyre over interpreting how i interract w them and assuming its the same head over heelsness as theyre feeling, like theyr eputting words in my mouth :/ its not as if i dislike them at all, but i can tell they are way more invested in me than i am them :( i feel like im deficient in that sense and can never rlly feel true love or attraction like that wholesale like other ppl seem to be able to and ill never find true love bc of it ughhhhh.

but the one time i DO feel genine yearning and love and affection to someone its w a girl itll never happen w cuz she moved ;O; she was a grad student in print n me and a couple otehr print gworls got super close, but i graduated before them and i felt like they didnt give a shit about me after even tho i tried so hard to keep up the connection. she graduated in may n recently moved outta state fir work next i see shes made an insta post talking abt another girl in the group as her best friend n how grateful she was to have met her and im just like :’‘‘‘‘‘‘( so jealous and sad and mad at happenstance that i happened to graduate when i had to and they still didnt and because fo this someone else became the closest one to her.... like the one time i feel like im feeling actual love this is what happensssssssss but what can i do abt it!!!!! im also so mad ive been made to feel liek such an outsider and scrapped by ppl just bc i moved like... slightly farther away. liek they never responded to texts never tried to reciprocate when i tried making plans never tried to reach out first to make plans w me themselves

Firstly thank you! Most of the clothing in AxA is 99% ayoshi with me going in after and cleaning/adding some stuff. So I give him props for the clothes :P As far as a ‘new PTS’ style group idk, there are a lot of amazing creators on simblr but I think the reason PTS was such a special thing is because the bond they all had. I feel that when working on collabs with some of my really close friends (such as the one coming out this month with @dogsill​ and @ayoshi​) because we have known each other for over 2 years now. A group of friends built only for collabing purposes would be more of a hassle than an enjoyment imo. <3

figure out my gender??????????????? probably switch to like they/she pronouns or something bc i realized that every time i post something on twitter/snapchat/tumblr/whatever i always refer to myself as a “a foolish child who makes bad financial decisions” or “a person who makes their wallet cry” or like “guess who just spent like $40 on a steam sale???? this kidddddddddd” like ive always just been unconsciously referring to myself in like third person or they/them/gender neutral pronouns?????? like. i dont think that in any tweet/toot/snap ive ever written i’ve called myself something like “a foolish girl” or “a girl who makes her wallet cry” or anything so like theres that. and honestly ive made/been making some posts about this gender thing for like the past year. ive asked the cool mods at feminism and media about it (ill post the screenshot later). ive changed my main tumblr about page which i dont think anyone’s ever visited since it’s listed under “hi” and like maybe i should change it to “about”? anyways ive like changed most of my stuff online to be something like “gender questioning, but she/her pronouns are fine for now” or like “gender questioning/probably nonbinary” and then just straight up changed my facebook pronouns to they/them (but im p sure my family hasnt noticed thank goodness cuz thats not a can of worms i wanna explain to a bunch of religious baby boomers rn), changed my myanimelist gender to non-bianary (again why is this a thing? a rando blue anime hellsite is not the place i expected to have this option but like im not complaining so lol), and also put “gender questioning, probably non-binary” in the write in gender option on goodreads so like. uhhh. i guess im probably non-binary????? but also im a terrible and indecisive person so like every time i say im probably non-binary my stupid brain goes back to bein like. wait is this some internalized misogyny that makes me not want to be a girl/cis girl? but also i find the dysphoria memes/jokes on the egg_irl subreddit really relatable and its just a bad cycle in which i go “oh these gender dysphoria memes on a trans subreddit are really relatable” -> “huh maybe. im not a girl???” -> brain awakened to being not a girl -> self doubt of brain might have internalized misogyny -> haha im a cis girl even tho i always refer to myself with they/them pronouns in writing -> haha wait that doesnt sound right a cis person wouldnt refer to themself with gender neutral pronouns right -> i know, ill go to a sub that i know makes gender dysphoria jokes and caused this self doubt/gender questioning in the first place with dumb jokes like “would you push a button?” and this meme but replace the “im bi” with “im ace” -> haha these gender dysphoria jokes are really relatable -> oh no (repeat this hell cycle of self doubt for 2 years and its me haha) 

regarding the above example sentences of steam sales and my finances, uhhhh, i wanna play more video games this year. and actually finish them. because i think according to steamdb or whatever account rating site it is, my account’s games net worth is something ridiculous like $600. and like. ive only played like 30% of the stuff i own. so uh. i should get my moneys worth and play stuff

i find these kind of asks to be the MOST amusing, because not only do these people think they know my life, they actively go out of their way to try to get in contact with me. they side with people who believe doxxing people is alright "as long as its for the greater good" and they think harassment of any sort will fix their problems (spoiler alert: it wont.) lets get one thing straight here: i dont "take thing personally on behalf of gabbie hanna", i side with what I BELIEVE to be morally correct. its not morally correct to tell someone that theyre useless, that one no wants them or cares about them, and that they should disappear to someone who has actively stated time and time again to have suicidal ideations. this is KNOWINGLY triggering and harming someone who's mentally ill, and you're just straight up a horrible shitty human being if you do that. you CAN hold someone accountable AND have empathy to what theyre going through. they dont negate each other, and the second people learn THAT is the second i will stop riding so hard for what is MORALLY correct, not for Gabbie Hanna.

for one thing, it has to do with my relationship with her irl. it was bad enough having to wait 2 years to see her bc of the pandemic, now i fear even more how hard it’ll be to see her, meet her again, and for her to remember who i am, on top of already being too anxious to join stan twitter.

for another, it is very rare that i hyperfixate on things that are “mainstream,” and im starting to think thats not a coincidence. i dont think i could enjoy something mainstream to that extent, having everyone talk about it and shout their opinions left and right takes the fun out of it for me. it also makes me feel like if i tell someone i love it, theyll think im just jumping on the band wagon, and that i dont genuinely love it.

hannah/miley is really the most mainstream hyperfixation ive had thats stuck around into my adulthood, but somehow thats never been a problem? even in the bangerz era, i felt very secure. i was thriving if anything. it might have had to do with the fact that half the attention she was getting was hate, and/or that stan twitter and actually interacting with your favs via social media wasnt the thing it is today. (admittedly, it has become harder to affirm my love of hannah these days when everyone is so nostalgic about that time, but thats besides the point)

i just dont want people to think im just a fan of hers bc of boyfriend or something. and i dont wanna sound like im trying to be BETTER than those people or that theres anything wrong with that, it just drives me crazy when people act like theyre more into things than they actually are. again, you can be a casual fan of something and thats totally fine, but dont say something is your whole world if you just casually enjoy it. i would never do that. i value my friends who know what their main hyperfixations are, while i may enjoy the same thing, just not to the same extent. its bc of the people that exaggerate their obsessions so much that people dont believe me when i tell them how much i love miley, dove, etc. phrases like “im obsessed with this” or “its my whole life” have become meaningless.

its hard to place why exactly this bothers me so much on a deeper level, it probably has to do with my identity dysphoria and the fact that my love of dove is such a core part of who i am and its crucial to me that people associate me with her bc thats how i see and understand myself. not to mention shes been my main hyperfixation for years now and shes always been somewhat “underrated.” i felt like i was taking a step down from miley and felt comfort and ease in that. plus, i would say ive put more effort into my dove fandom than i have any other fandom. waiting 6 hours for multiple liv and maddie tapings not knowing if id get in or not, scrambling to go to new york for cluless and fucking LONDON for light in the piazza (the latter was less of a scramble tho since we planned further in advance, but still extreme), etc. i just dont want my hard work to go unnoticed or unappreciated.

again, none of this is to say anything is wrong with being a casual fan just bc of boyfriend. but just like i would acknowledge that fans of people that im just a casual fan of are in fact bigger fans than me and deserve that credit, i would hope the same would be given to me.

okay so im ngl i mainly watch the olympics for swimming, diving, volleyball, and gymnastics, and those are all summer sports, but that one when you ski and shoot things at the same time sounds pretty banging. also freestyle skiing and snowboarding are cool too.

so. the thing about va. is that. we dont have SPORTS! we kinda bum off everyone around us, which means for college basketball, we go to duke vs TARHEELS WOOT WOOT (also its hilarious that nc state thinks that theyre somehow in the picture for that rivalry like lmao) and then i think the cavaliers do okay for themselves in football, and i think thats the closest we get to a Known team from va? also we have the tides in norfolk, who feed into the orieles, but like does anyone actually follow the minor leagues??? and because the nationals in dc are closer, everyone follows them instead of the orieles for the majors so its just wah???? and then obvi the redskins (whom i did not realize where in dc for THE LONGEST time) for the nfl and that about it. my fam goes to tides games sometimes, and also penninsula pilots games, which are really fun bc its all homey and old school, and thats about the extent of my sports knowledge. yes technically local for me right now would be la but honestly fuck an la.
