I have made this argument before and I wanna see if it flies here: I don't think Sukuna counts as a hater. Because he doesn't care enough about anyone to truly hate them. He IS a huge bastard that treat people like plaything and disrespect them, but I never saw any of it as coming from a place of hatred? Even towards Yuji with how much bullshit he put him through and dissing him, I don't see that as coming from any feeling of hate, just the dismissness one treats a toy you not longer care to play with.
Ooh, okay hear me out because I do see where you're coming from, Anon. In fact, I do agree.
Sukuna does come off as someone who doesn't really spends his energy hating on someone as in "eh, what's the point".
Sometimes, you gotta have some bit of sense to care about something or someone to even feel anything else for them.
To care, is to acknowledge revelance and well, evident enough Yuji is the last person Sukuna would find important, huh?
But, hope you don't mind, I want to add onto this a bit more because I have thoughts and well...
I am (finally ╥﹏╥) finishing up a post I have had since January that is about how Sukuna views Yuji. (Kid you not.)
Now, before anybody says anything, yes, you can say Sukuna is a hater. He is indeed a Hater, with a capital H. But he really shows that behavior towards only Yuji verbally. Like... I can't recall him ever being so vindictive towards anybody else but Yuji.
He has expressed annoyance towards others and more recently even small moments of anger. Sometimes, he's even dismissive.
But with Yuji? Yuji won't even be in the same vicinity and he hates on him. He has this special animosity towards Yuji.
Why does he though? What's the reason?
This is what I suppose.
Sukuna definitely hated Yuji and probably still does because he was more of a cage to him than just a vessel. When Sukuna first was reincarnated and Yuji suppressed him, that actually was Sukuna's first L of the series. No doubt he despises him for it. Promised a second chance at life and a vessel and when you get that vessel? He controls you not you control him.
Come chapter 248, we get a bit more as to why Sukuna hates Yuji. No matter what he does, Yuji continues to get back up. His resolve is so strong that not even the King of Curses can break him at this point. And because of that, Sukuna decides to continue on where Kenjaku left off just to spite him.
But thinking about it... why? The thing is Sukuna never really had a goal in mind besides wanting to kill people for the hell of it. He does what he wants whenever he wants. He eats whatever he pleases. Something pisses him off, he gets rid of it.
So doesn't it seem off that Sukuna is actually going the extra mile just because of some teenage boy irks him? Is taking over for Kenjaku to merge humanity actually necessary? Just to spite Yuji?
Yuji ain't the only one attacking him, so why just antagonize him? He doesn't find anyone else boring?
You said the right word, Anon. Sukuna treats Yuji as a "toy". He treats Yuji like a toy. But he also does for everyone else. Everyone else (except Uraume really and he really doesn't pay much mind to Kenjaku and we don't know his relationship with Tengen) is a toy for Sukuna. There is not one person he genuinely cares enough for spare their life. Everyone he has fought was just entertainment for him. He killed people just because. He breaks people because he can.
And even though Yuji is one of those toys to him, Yuji is a toy that Sukuna keeps picking back up. He ignores him, but then goes right back to turning his attention on him. No matter what he does, Yuji is a Nokia phone. He's practically immune to Sukuna's tomfoolery.
If I had to say, if Sukuna doesn't hate Yuji, he hates what he stands for. He hates the idea that Yuji is fighting him and willing to die because he's selfless and wants to save people. Opposite of Sukuna's selfishness and entertainment to torture people.

He didn't know how many hours had passed, but Kenjaku didn't care. The only thing that mattered to him, that existed to him, was the inside of this room.
He drove himself deeper into his lover's cunt, his hips moving as if they had a mind of their own. He'd long since lost count of how many times he'd found release, his cum mixing with hers in a sticky mess as it coated both of their thighs and spilled out to stain the futon plush beneath them.
Kenjaku had her legs pushed back as far as they could go, folding them back against her chest as he held her down in a mating press. He mounted her, balancing all of his weight onto her as he pounded relentlessly into her tight heat, the room filling with lewd, wet slapping from his large, swollen balls hitting against her ass.
Kenjaku found her most beautiful in this position - her eyes glossy and unfocused, lips bruised and swollen from the rough, demanding kisses he'd given her, her silky hair splayed out around her head like a halo, just begging to be pulled.
He leaned over her, earning a broken moan as he hit deeper inside of her. "Does that feel good, darling?" He crooned.
"It must. I can feel you squeezing me. You're going to cum again, aren't you?"
Kenjaku only grinned when she didn't answer, only able to formulate a series of slurred gasps and groans.
"Use your words. I know you can do better than that," He said, slowing his pace to a tortuous degree. She whined when he all but stopped inside of her, but she could still feel him twitching and pulsing, desperate for his own release.
"Tell me how good this feels. Tell me how much you want me to fill you up and breed your fertile womb and maybe I'll let you cum again."
With eyes misted with tears from overstimulation, she stared up at him, uncertain whether to glare at him or kiss him. She settled for the latter, her arms reaching up to wrap around his neck as she pulled him down, teeth clanking together as their lips met in a passionate, heated kiss.
Kenjaku's eyes closed as their lips melded against one another, breathing life into each other as they fought for dominance.
She took his bottom lip between her teeth and bit down suddenly, drawing blood. Kenjaku gave a pleased hum, enjoying the pain and the coppery taste that spread across his tongue. As thanks, he reached for her hair, yanking it roughly as he held her in place, his mouth meeting her throat.
He placed hot, open mouth kisses against her flesh, sucking along her pulse point before biting down. Just as she had with him, he made sure to break skin, licking up her blood with every pass of his tongue.
He gave a dark chuckle at the way she gasped and tensed underneath him, moving back a little to admire his handiwork.
"Beautiful," he whispered, watching the way her blood bubbled up from the fresh mark, a small bead of crimson trailing down her neck.
Without warning, he slammed his hips down in a manner that made her scream in a mixture of pain and pleasure, jolting her back to the present.
"You still haven't done what I asked," Kenjaku said, a grin pulling at his lips as his free hand traced her body. His fingertips lightly passed the marks he had given her, soothing the sore and abused skin.
Every bruise and bleeding wound he had left on her body was a gift and proof of who she belonged to. The stinging pain in his back was her gift to him, how she raked her nails harshly down his body, tearing the skin.
Beneath him, she pouted and glared up at him, fidgeting in place as she clenched around his cock, still buried to the hilt. All of her attempts to get him to move again were met with failure.
"You're such an ass," She managed, earning a chuckle from Kenjaku.
He released her hair, his hand wrapping around her throat as he forced her to keep her focus on him.
"Maybe, but you love it. Now, be a good girl and say it," he ordered.
He was so good at getting his way, and he knew it. He could see the struggle on her face between wanting to tease him and giving in.
In the end, she relented. It was hard to oppose Kenjaku, especially as he pressed himself down against her, those sharp eyes of his piercing into her soul.
She stared up at him, leaning forward, placing a gentle kiss against his forehead, right on his stitches. "I love how you feel inside of me. I want you to fill me up; Breed me, mark me as your own. Please give me your babies, Kenjaku."
The juxtaposition between her gentle kisses and the crudeness of her words sent Kenjaku into overdrive. His body shivered in delight, a soft curse escaping him before he held her down and started thrusting into her, filling the room with moans once more.
The sudden shift was overwhelming, and she clung onto him for dear life, her thighs shaking as her cunt was being so thoroughly abused. She cried out, half formed versions of his name and slurred pleas for him to go harder, mixing with declarations of love spilling from her lips.
She couldn't seem to settle on whether to kiss him or bite him, cycling between the two as she nipped and kissed the exposed flesh of his neck, earning a breathy laugh from the man above her.
"Kenjaku! I'm close! Please don't stop!" She ground out, her jaw clenched tightly as she whined.
He could feel her exhausted body tensing up underneath him as she fast approached the cliff's edge, her pleasure dancing on a knife's edge as the silky walls of her pussy clenched and sucked him in deeper, attempting to milk him of another load.
Sweat beaded his brow, one of the few signs of exertion as he chased his high. Kenjaku felt a familiar tension in his abdomen as the pleasure began to grow, his thrusts beginning to grow sloppy as his balls pulled up towards his body.
With a quick snap of his hips, his cockhead hit the spot deep inside of her, sending her careening over the edge. She gasped so hard she couldn't breathe, her orgasm tearing through her in a violent display as her head snapped back and her entire body locked up.
Kenjaku's mouth dropped open in a broken cry as her cunt clenched tightly around him like a vice, her plush walls massaging every inch of his dick as she creamed around it.
Kenjaku gave a final thrust as he found his release, burying himself as deep inside of her as he could. He leaned low over her, his cockhead kissing her cervix as he twitched and throbbed, spraying it with hot and potent seed.
The room that had once been filled with sounds of pleasure now was silent as the lovers stayed locked together, their voices stolen from them as they shivered in silent ecstasy before finally collapsing.
Kenjaku kept his dick buried deep inside of her, chest heaving as he rested against her. Both of them were a sticky mess, coated in each other's fluids and sweat, but neither cared as they held onto each other, limbs tangled up together.
He brought her legs down from her chest, gently rubbing her thighs in a subtle apology. She must be sore after being in that position for so long.
Soft kisses were pressed against her face, the same hand that one pulled her hair so roughly now began stroking it as he peppered her face with love.
When he finally pulled himself out, he laid down beside her. His arms wrapped around her midsection, pulling her back against his chest as he held her.
"You were wonderful," he praised, pressing a firm kiss to her temple.
Her eyes were closed as she focused on catching her breath, her chest heaving with effort. Her entire body was so sensitive and a little sore from all of his markings. It didn't stop her from caressing his arm and turning her head back to try and return some of his affections.
"I love you."
Those words were rarely spoken aloud between them, but it was felt in every interaction between them. Kenjaku basked in the way it made him feel, eliciting a warmth in his chest that was rare to come by.
He smiled as the word left her lips, a promise of devotion between the two of them. He kissed her shoulder, his hand rubbing circles against the soft skin of her stomach.
He closed his eyes, imagining her stomach swollen with his children. It was undeniable how much he longed for that reality, and he would find a way to bring it forth.
"I love you, too."

One thing that bothers me about jujutsu is that the author doesn't know how to develop some characters. 1 Shoko Ieri is an interesting character but I find her apathetic without a cold and superficial personality. 2 itadori yuji doesn't seem to be a protagonist he seems more like a tool than the protagonist of the work. 3 nobara had no development dry and emotionless death. and many other characters. There were only 2 characters that really had development, which was gojo and geto, for me, they were the only ones that had it. Why do you think the author did this, is it because he didn't want to develop the characters that's why he killed many important characters? I would appreciate it if you respond.
This is a lot to answer so sorry if it gets confusing a little.
1.) and you really have to keep this in mind, is that the manga isn't finished yet. It's also not about to finish. We have just reached the beginning of the end and we have at least another 6 months to go if not more. Without the last panel drawn, we can't really talk about the stuff Gege hasn't put into the story yet.
Still, many of your points can be addressed.
Shoko: In both the present and the past storylines, she is a side character without her side of the story being shown too much. Her being cold and apathetic can be a fitting description of her in the present but in the past she was more open and easy-going.
When you say she has a superficial personality that's where your interpretation is a little off. For one, her personality changes and for two, her current personality reflects the cost that living as a sorcerer has on people. We are also shown her inner thoughts on occasion but interestingly, one of those thoughts kind of comments her role in the story.
(This thought also establishes that she has trouble understanding Gojo's point of view on his godlike status)
Tumblr media
The thing with Shoko is that we're never shown what she does: heal and save people. That's an aspect of her character that has been completely, and deliberately I say, missing until this point. But she has saved the lives of: Geto, Ino and Angel (plus some others) and she has therefore shaped the entire plot of the manga extremely.
But this I think will change in the most impactful way possible: with her saving Gojo's life by showing us for the first time what her CT is and how she heals people.
On Nobara, you're right. She had little character development and no reflection on her thoughts and beliefs. To this I say, read my post about her coming back because I believe that she will get that character develepoment and reflection when she re-enters the manga.
The same thing goes for Tsumiki. I was really disappointed when Yorozu died and Tsumiki basically disappeared from the story with her role never being more than that of a prop. But it was pointed out to me, that Tsumiki actually had been shown in an active role in the manga 70 chapters ago and that role will definitely be revisited when Megumi gets the spotlight again.
Now to Yuji. Did you realize that you contradicted yourself? You said that Yuji doesn't feel like a protagonist but you also said that Geto and Gojo had the best character developement. You're definitely talking about Hidden Inventory here but HI is and arc where Yuji is removed as the protagonist.
So the main protagonist being removed from the story temporarily has a purpose. You could say that that was a flashback and doesn't really count and that you mostly mean the 4 mini-arcs in Culling Games where Yuji wasn't present + the Sukuna/Yorozu fight + the Gojo/Sukuna fight.
Gojo/Suku we don't even count in this, that's a given, Sukuna/Yorozu is character showing plus setup for the future and Yuki/Choso/Tengen vs Kenjaku we don't count either, because that's a plot progression plus villain fight.
In my experience when people talk about Yuji not being a good protagonist because he isn't present often enough, they mean the arcs where Yuta, Maki and Hakari take centre stage. (The three other mini-arcs add to this)
Why would a mangaka do their story like this?
For world building. To be more precise: for plot building. Yuta, Maki and Hakari have important roles for the endfights and for that they needed character development (Maki), a show of their powers (all) and setups for the future (eg alliances with Kashimo and Uro).
Right from the beginning, JJK always moved the plot forward first. That's why the pace is so fast. The story is plot driven and not character driven, but that doesn't mean that the characters aren't given their time, just that that time isn't an entire chapter.
You can critizese this of course, I too would've liked small character scenes to have been expended on. That Yuji is taken off the picture for world building isn't sth I would critizise though. That's what happened in parts of Attack on Titan, and it also happens constantly in One Piece with Luffy albeit in Flashbacks.
It simply adds to the story when we can see other characters act on their own and while Yuji is back in the centre now, he will most likely take small steps back again to let other characters shine like Megumi eg. It also adds to his personality, but for the end of the manga he will be the centre of attention.

I DO feel like this whole thing is kind of an ass pull on Gege’s part tho because what the hell… but I don’t really hate it either lmfao. Idc what others have to say about Yuuji, he’s a decent MC. I feel like Gege could’ve handled everything post Shibuya a whole lot better still… there were SO many things that I just felt like could’ve been focused on more… certain character deaths didn’t make any sense to me (mainly in the way and how some of them died… I still haven’t wrapped my head around Kenny because his death felt so random??? Like Gege just NEEDED to get him out of the way so that he could focus solely on Sukuna vs Everyone and their mama. I just hate how rushed his death was considering how important he was to the plot and the fact that he felt more like the main villain than Sukuna like… I was expecting him to betray Sukuna and pull something really insane off with his plans to do fuck all with the world and curses 😭… that would’ve been really fun tbh. And to see him and Yuuji interacting more because of their Insane connection to each….. wait…. Does that mean that…….
THAT KENJAKU ALSO GAVE BIRTH TO SUKUNA AT SOME POINT 😭…. Wait, nvm… it DOES mention in the leaks that Yuuji is Sukuna’s reincarnated twin brother so who knows man. THAT wouldn’t make too much sense anyway considering the eras that they’re from and Yuuji is like, 15. Sukuna is old as hell. Regardless, this would be hilarious tho. Now I’m all of the Yuuji twin au art, people can draw Kenjaku being both their mother more often 🧍🏾‍♀️… unfortunately, this won’t stop the incest shippers. And they already don’t care that Yuuji is a minor while Sukuna is… so I can’t even say “no one knew that they were LITERALLY related,” either🗿.
Yuuji really got 4 brothers who’ve all tried to murder him (one is still trying to and two are now dead) at some point……. Todo doesn’t count for obvious reasons sjsjsj. This is crazy

I COME BACK WITH THOUGHTS/THEORIES ON ITADORI AND HIS RELATIONS- I THINK.
anyways, so i'll just point this out: i'm not good at speaking my thoughts in an organized manner. i absolutely suck at it, i speak on how my brain brings up the thoughts so i might ramble, get over my head in a thought, etc. i can't control it so i apologize in advance for the jumpiness of the texts. i will spell a lot of things wrong and not everything will be correct, as i read translations and on a manga site. don't worry it's not illegal, i believe.
MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD.
Tumblr media
i apologize for my absence! last week or two weeks ago the tower to my computer completely broke and will not turn on. i tried to repair it and follow my fathers instructions but nothing worked. even cleaned off the fan and went through countless nights readjusting things. it's not my cords either so to help me out my father is working extra shifts to get me a new pc. so in the meantime i'll do small posts like these but not full writing/head canons until i have a computer tower lol. a family member was kind enough to allow me to have their phone while we work throughout this issue.
now onto the actual topic:
kenjaku and itadori's relationship. ( family wise ).
for context in the most recent chapter, 160 "colony" kamo shows up in sasaki's home and talks to her about the culling game and a barrier. but that's not the point, the point is as he's guiding her to the barrier inside her "dream" at the end he says "oh right. i almost forgot to tell you. thank you for getting along with my son." and then she is awakened inside the barrier, in her pajamas beside iguchi. when sasaki and iguchi look at the barrier and gather themselves they bring up kamo.
sasaki asked iguchi if he mentioned his son and he says no. this leaves sasaki in a state of confusion when itadori flashes in her mind. she says his name aloud like she finally connected the dots. now. why am i bringing up this whole kenjaku thanking sasaki for being his "son"'s friend. it throws me off because why didn't he thank iguchi?
did he not think iguchi meant their friendship? because sasaki was the one uninjured and still counted itadori as a friend? does iguchi not consider itadori as a friend anymore?
because we haven't seen these two at all since the incident. that raised many questions in me. as well "how can itadori be related to kamo?" and itadori is related to choso.
Tumblr media
because kamo's technique is explained ( vaguely. we are aware he can create barriers, take over bodies, and has incredible cursed tools. chapter 134. this is also where choso makes his connection ( i believe. ) to itadori yuji as his brother. but because we saw this with todo many thought itadori just had another unconsious technique that allows the person who is hit create false memories and believe of a completely made up relationship with itadori without his knowledge. but alas, i was wrong. ) and we're given more hints shown than told ( imo ) i tried my best to make sense out of the situation and what he said. i think my conclusions are pretty solid, so continuing on.
we're given very little history on itadori, his past, and family. at the start of the manga we know that itadori's only family he knows is his grandfather and that he is ill in the hospital. at the very very beginning we learn that itadori is your average cute, fluffy, laid back but strong and goofy protagonist. in smaller words: itadori is kirby but even cuter and dumber.
my first impressions of him is a pineapple. if you're confused to this saying: it's calling a person prickly on the outside but sweet on the inside. and this is true, itadori's grandfather seems prickly and cold on the outside but he genuinely cares for itadori.
he raised itadori for all we know and did that with his all in assumption. but this ends up backfiring onto itadori, because he cares so much for his grandson - he ends up leaving a " curse " on yuji.
help people. save them.
itadori takes this to heart as his grandfathers speech is his last one. when he looks over to his grandfather the man is dead and now yuji is left alone. then the following events occur.
at this point in time i assumed itadori was an orphan ( he technically is if we're connecting the dots. his parents has not been shown, he doesn't speak of them, they aren't in the picture. we can conclude either they disowned itadori or died before he could make complete memories of them. )
but when we are shown in chapter 143 itadori's parents we see this "woman" jin ( yuji's father ) and his grandfather talking about has the same scar pattern. this scar pattern is either stitching ( assuming that is how kamo keeps the top of the opened skull from coming off. this is also how kamo revealed his cursed technique / body of sorts ( the brain, assuming that is kenjaku in his cursed technique and not the body / puppet he is controlling " getou suguru " ) to gojou. )
Tumblr media
this is the only way i find kamo being able to assign itadori as his son. why is that you might be asking this dumbass here.
we do not have the full story, exact date, location, and full context of the memory/dream itadori is having. this cannot be fake either because kamo would than have no reason to call itadori his son. or is there? anyways.
take a leap of faith with me. imagine that before itadori is born ( he seems no more than a few weeks or days old in this memory. hence why i am thinking my conclusion is pretty solid in theory. but yknow gege, there might be something different. ) anywhooo.
TW. D3ATH/IMPLYING ANTI LIFE ATTEMPT
kamo had to have taken over yuji's mothers body after an accident OR after she gave birth to yuji. his grandfather is interrupted by her before he can finish his sentence but it seems to be leading to the conclusion that either kaori ( yuji's mother ) died while giving birth to yuji or kaori could not conceive and tried to take her own life or cause an accident that would take her life. ( i read a fan translation for this part but im pretty sure i also read the official translation today too and it added up to the same. )
i believe in the first idea, but since kamo's cursed technique wasn't explained in detail i don't know the conditions of his body technique. does the original host of the body have to be dead? can he regenerate body limbs ( i highly doubt. getou lost an arm during his fight with yuta. overconfident dick. reminding me of an ex ANTWAYS. i forgive him for being overconfident smooch. he learned. OFF TOPIC but continuing on i promise.
this is being continued from the cut off point. i'm so upset so it'll just be summarized. i can't believe this shit lol i took three hours just to finish it for it to literally cut off the bottom half.
Tumblr media
continuing on in a sadge mood. kamo must not have the complete ability to take over a body. after all getou took his only arm he had as he was dying and choked his own body to his full ability. getou was willing to die ( possibly, you never know he could be alive if he killed his own body. moving on. ) just to have the chance to save his friend from being swallowed by a damn box.
so there has to be a chance that kamo cannot fully take over the previous persons complete consious and memory of their body. if getou still had his other arm after losing the fight to yuta, he could've choked kamo with both arms. in theory kamo wouldn't be able to control the right arm and die to the previous host choking him to death.
so why wouldn't the other hosts do it? after all, kamo did say it was his first time experiencing such a thing. assuming kamo has lived throughout many bodies in his 150+ lifespan none of the previous hosts could take control of their body.
i believe getou was completely influenced by gojou and his six eyes. there is no way gojou would even try to speak out to his friend unless he had an inkling or saw getou still in there. helpless and without the ability to save himself from the cage he's in.
being used and puppeteered in his own body by an external force. laughing in the world he could not. putting getou into a constant misery and defeat that he couldn't escape his hell. the one he tried so hard to fight and get out of. even if it was the wrong path.
gojou was the last person to witness getou dying. he had to watch getou bleed out after their conversation because he couldn't bring himself to kill his friend. the one he spent his whole jujutsu student life with. so for gojou to say such a thing to getou despite all that he did had to break getou out of his misery and give him that small sliver of hope that he could do something. of course he failed, but i doubt that's going to be the end of that.
the only way i see kamo being related to yuji is if he took over kaori's body before the pregnancy. assuming that when kamo takes over a body he becomes one with said body and is that person for however long he lives in said body. my only thing is, can he take over a persons body whilst they are alive? i would go more in depth like i did the last time but i am extremely upset about my work being erased so that's the end of this part.
thank you for reading! i have one more thing for you though.
the last time we see sukuna in a manga page after the shibuya incident is where he is on his throne and in his domain. this is after yuji is stabbed by yuta and is presumed "dead" at the time. he seems to be interested in yuta and i can think of 2-3 things. I would love to hear your theories too so don't be afraid to barge into my dms like the koolaid man.
A - sukuna is interested in Yuta because of his ability to use the reverse healing technique ( only a few sorcerers know this. sukuna being the first. shoko being the second one to be told that she has this power and then gojou. ) because of this he sees potential in yuta as well or has added this boy into his plans. after all, there is very few that can make sukuna make an expression that isn't an RBF. aka megumi and possibly gojou. I was looking at the page of him stabbing yuji and noticed we only see the entry point of where the blade enters. it's smaller because some got chunked off so its a possibility yuta used this to his advantage when "killing" yuji and instead hit an artery that could kill him but quickly healed him afterwards. or just his heart. the ideas.
B. Rika, Yuta is able to completely control Rika as shown. Even though he claims he is on the weak side, these two combined seem like an unstoppable force. He may be interested in Rika as she is a curse that has been put on someone that can fully control it. Not many people is shown to be able to control their curse. As we haven't met many.
this was enti and that's the last of my post! thank you for reading and it was a fun one. even though i had to restore this shit. anyways, i'd love you to add or fix up my ideas and tell me your thoughts and opinions! Thanks a bunch!

The theory about ‘Sukuna’s going to eat (or try to eat) Megumi’ has a high probability to come true
This theory is cross-posted on posted on reddit. Contains spoilers for non-manga readers.
I know that (some) people are sick of this, but I’d like to point out something I’ve noticed from u/bushwarblerssong's post about the urban legend that inspired Gege to create Sukuna, which I think supports the ‘Sukuna will (try to) eat Megumi’ theory.
Gege said he created Sukuna based on an urban legend thread that was posted on 2chan.
The summary of this urban legend thread;
> A construction worker found a 2 meter wooden box with ‘Ryoman Sukuna ??? is sealed’ written on it at the old temple his company was demolishing. Fyi he was the one who posted the thread, so I’ll refer to him as 2chan guy just like bushwarblerssong did on their post.
> 2chan guy called the former priest of the temple & told him about the box.
> The priest told 2chan guy to not open the box.
> Two of 2chan guy’s coworkers opened the box for fun, then they became sick (mute + dazed) & hospitalized (few days later one of them died due to heart attack while the other became mentally unstable).
> That box contained a mummy of two conjoined twins.
> 2chan guy called the priest again. The priest came with his son and took the box. 2chan guy asked the priest’s son about the mummy.
> Priest’s son confirmed the mummy was indeed a pair of conjoined twins. The twins were purchased by Mononobe who was a leader of a religious sect & then the twins got locked inside a secret chamber with other prisoners who also had deformities. They all cannibalized each other there.
> Mononobe was interested in the twins & wanted the twins to become the sole survivor, so he stabbed other prisoners before he threw the twins there.
> The twins survived & Mononobe turned them into a mummy while they were still alive (by starving them). Then he named them Ryomen (Two Faces) Sukuna.
And here’s the interesting part, quoting bushwarblerssong;
To increase the mummy’s power, Mononobe filled Ryomen Sukuna’s stomach with a fine powder made from the crushed bones of ancient “traitorous clans” (like the Emishi or Tsuchigumo) eradicated by the Imperial Court.
Doesn’t the Zen’in kinda fit this label? Since they are in the process of getting removed from the three great families.

Maki and Megumi are also deemed as traitors by the Zen’in clan, and perhaps by the Jujutsu Society/higher ups as well. Because they’re currently trying to free Gojo. Plus Megumi is on Yuji’s side and the higher ups clearly see Yuji as evil/dangerous and they want Yuji (Sukuna) dead.

Anyway, Sukuna has a mouth on his stomach so it matches the urban legend. I’m guessing Mononobe cut open the stomach of the Urband Legend Sukuna so he could stuff it with the bone powder, thus creating the second mouth.

A huge mouth also exists in Sukuna’s domain expansion.

His domain expansion is called Fukumamizushi (伏魔御廚子) in Japanese. Fukuma (伏魔) means a place where demons hide while Mizushi (御廚子) means the place inside the palace where the emperor eats or the kitchen.
The name of Sukuna’s DE can be taken as “Sukuna’s kitchen” or “Emperor Sukuna’s dining place.”
Tumblr media
“The kitchen of all deaths is here!!”
His innate domain also looks like the inside of a stomach.

So far Sukuna’s innate techniques are all related to cooking (Knives; dismantle and cleaves/filleting*, and Fire; flames |*the kanji hachi 捌 also means filleting fish) and we’ve seen him talking about his enemies in cooking term. He even 'employs' Uraume because of Uraume’s cooking skill.
Tumblr media
Q: How long has Uraume known Sukuna?
A: Uraume has known Sukuna for 1000 years. Uraume is a human who’s allowed to stand next to Sukuna because Uraume could make delicious food. Uraume is also a sorcerer.
Q: Is Uraume a chef?
A: Sukuna likes to eat people, but it’s difficult to cook them, or rather only few people have the experience, but Uraume is excellent at this.
This character introduction implies that the reason why Sukuna allows Uraume to become his (only) follower is because of Uraume’s cooking skill. Weren't Uraume a good cook, Sukuna most likely wouldn't keep Uraume around.
Also, let’s not forget that it’s also mentioned in the official fanbook that Sukuna finds the most pleasure in eating.
Tumblr media
三枚おろし is a culinary term for filleting a fish (into three slices).
Tumblr media
味見 means tasting. The fight is a literal taste test for him.
Tumblr media
“A delicious death begins with a careful preparation.”
The motif of eating and cooking is heavily emphasized on Sukuna. Even the way he gains control of Yuji’s body began with eating (Yuji ate Sukuna’s finger). Moreover Yuji is also a good cook, he taught Megumi to make meatballs.
(FYI in Gifu prefecture, there’s a giant dish called "Sukuna nabe" or Sukuna stew. Apparently this dish can serve approximately 2500 people. Gifu prefecture was the Hida province back then. It’s said that people of Hida liked Sukuna & considered him as a hero because he defeated a poisonous dragon and a demon called Shichina)
These are the reasons why I believe Sukuna will eat someone later, or at least try to. I’m willing to bet a huge amount of money on this. That mouth on his stomach isn’t there just for decorating, it’s for eating.
And since his interest is solely on Megumi, it’s logical to assume Megumi will become his prey in the future.
I mean, who else fits this position beside Megumi? The other person Sukuna acknowledges is Gojo (so far only Gojo and Megumi are referred to with their full names by Sukuna) but that acknowledgement doesn’t seem to go beyond killing—revenge against Gojo for humiliating him in ch 2/ep 3.
IMO if Sukuna does end up eating humans again later, the very first person he eats would be someone whom he considers special, like a fine grade-A ingredient. Basically the human version of wagyu beef or bluefin tuna.
He wouldn't eat just anybody, at least not at first, because it's stated in the fanbook that "it's difficult to cook them (humans)." So I don't think he would reserve such meticulous preparation for random nobodies. Besides it'd be his first meal after a thousand years of being sealed, so it's gotta be special.
And for what reason? Why would he want to eat Megumi? And why not now? Why wait?
Like many others I believe he wants to absorb Megumi’s power or ability once Megumi reaches his full potential, similar to what Getwo/Kenjaku did with Mahito to cast Maximum Uzumaki in order to create his ideal world, and also similar to the Urband Legend Sukuna ("to increase power").
u/Astral_M explained this in their post about the body is equal to the soul, thus consuming the body is equal to consuming the soul. Quoting them;
Because Sukuna's fingers (part of his body == soul) were preserved, his core of cursed energy is preserved. And Yuji is evidence of a very important concept: Consuming someone's body counts as consuming their cursed core, inheriting their technique!

I’ve seen multiple versions of translation/interpretations of this, the most common one is “Sukuna wants to create his ideal world with Megumi” I’m not trying to be nitpicking here but this version contains a different meaning from the one I screenshot, because it implies Sukuna wants Megumi to work together with him...... and I doubt that's exactly what Sukuna has in mind. I'm assuming the one I screenshot is the correct (more accurate) version because WAYA is a native Japanese speaker.
Also I think it's worth to note that it's not Gege who said this, it’s the interviewer. Gege’s answer/respond to it was fully censored, so we don’t know whether he actually agreed with this notion or not.
The interviewer then said this (in response to Gege's bleeped out answer);

I don’t think Megumi is going to die (or get eaten) early. It’d happen in or near the final arc.
Megumi either dies in Sukuna/Yuji’s hands (depends if they manage to separate, I'm betting Sukuna's going to merge with Yuji though, because it fits the theme; conjoined twins + two faces), or he lives, because clearly Sukuna wouldn’t allow others to kill him.
Thanks for reading!
TL;DR Sukuna will definitely (try to) eat someone later and that someone is most likely going to be Megumi.
