as a swiss person i have to disagree. I’m so sorry but i just don’t understand the point and cant read ß as a double s

HOWEVER smth very interesting tho is that in switzerland ß isnt part of our Highgerman (its not in our alphabet at all), so its easier to tell when a text is AI generated / assisted.

In school we dont learn about ß, like when to and when not to use it. We know it exists but we arent taught the rules. So because of that almost no one from german Switzerland genuinely uses ß. Why would we, yk?

So anyway, AI doesnt quite get this. so if, for example, a student turns in an essay and it has ß in it its almost guarantee its AI generated / assisted.

And for some reason many ppl dont check this? So ive seen a bunch of SWISS MADE things w ß despite it being incorrect here lol
