Stopped in his tracks, Alastor listened to the out burst. That's it. This is the last straw. Be damned whatever happened next.

Turned on his heels, the closer he got to Vox, the taller he grew, the bigger his antlers got. Static waves filled the air. His eyes were blackened. Not quite dials of a radio.

"Vox," A tentacle tendril shot out and wrapped itself around the demon's waist, tightening it's grip. "I am interested in you. This shift is particularly new for me, but it doesn't mean any less. How dare you consider this partnership one-sided after I so wholeheartedly confessed my feelings for you."

The tentacle slithered up Vox's body, wrapping around that neck now. "Or do I have to say it now. That somehow being in your presence it allowed me to experience feelings that I've never dealt with before. A softness that has never crept into my heart."

Bringing Vox closer, he snarled in the other's face. "In fact, I think I might just end my recreational activities to focus on you. Perhaps I'll make a shrine for you, show you that I, too, am capable of worship and obsessiveness."

Playing games with his heart? Is that fucker for real? How can he say that, when he is constantly playing the game master, even in the most trivial things?

Fuck him.

His claws since in the closest surface as he unloads all his frustration through them, to make sure it doesn't leak into his voice as he calls after the other.

"Oh, sure! I am not interested! Because yeah, I didn't waste years chasing after you!" Even after Alastor disappeared. "I'm obviously the one playing games!"

🕷 Angel Dust x Reader 💖

You and Angel have known each other for a long time. You knew that he often got into various scuffles and always reminded him to be careful. One of the times you knew for sure that he was going to get into trouble, you went with him. You were right and helped him cope and not get hurt, but there was something that caused him concern. You were hit by several bullets, but you didn't seem to pay any attention to it at all

Only when you noticed the blood on your clothes did you say with irritation that you had ruined your favorite sweater. Angel jumped up to you, worried about your wounds, but you didn't seem to feel the pain, which you soon informed him about. That's why Angel took you back to the hotel, where he treated your wounds. You told him that you had a CIP. You haven't felt pain since you were born, even when you were human, and even in Hell, the absence of pain has remained with you

Angel was surprised that for so long he didn't know that you don't feel pain at all. You had to pay attention to little things so as not to harm yourself, for example, be careful about hot dishes, because you might not notice how hot the soup could be or how hot the cup of coffee was. Angel listened attentively to you, surprised that he didn't notice it

Angel has become more attentive towards you. He didn't constantly take care of you, but sometimes he reminded you that the food or drink was hot, that you held the knife too close to your fingers, or that you were injured. Angel understood that even if you didn't feel pain, it didn't mean that the wounds didn't hurt you, which is why he tried to take care of you at least a little

📻 Alastor x Reader🎙

Alastor found out that you don't feel pain when he noticed that you returned to the hotel with an injured leg. You weren't even limping. You just went to your room like everything was completely normal. He didn't know any other reason for this. He went to your room with a first-aid kit and you did not hide from him either your own wound or the fact that you really did not feel pain

Alastor stayed in your room while you treated the wound on your leg. You told him that even when you were human, you didn't feel pain. You assumed that at least in Hell this would change, but it turned out not to be so. Because of this, you didn't notice the wounds you could get until you noticed the blood on your clothes

The origin of the scars on your skin was now clear. He understood that you probably got these scars in Hell. On your palms, hands, and obviously not only there. You really weren't very worried about your own health, and the lack of pain only made it harder for you to take care of yourself

Alastor understood that in Hell there was much less harm from this for you. Dying in Hell was much more difficult for a sinner than when you were alive, so Alastor didn't worry too much about you. He knew you'd be fine, but he still left a first-aid kit in your room in case you needed it

💀Rosie x Reader 🌹

You were a frequent guest at Rosie's and helped her with some problems at her store. You often stayed at her house for weeks at a time, but Rosie was only too happy to spend time with you. Sometimes you came in with wounds after fights, but Rosie was sure they weren't that serious, so you didn't pay attention to it. However, when you came in seriously injured but behaved as if everything was fine, she became worried

Rosie insistently asked you to sit down and brought a first aid kit. She was in no hurry to ask questions or jump to conclusions, primarily focusing on your wounds. You didn't make a sound when she was treating your wounds, which gave Rosie certain thoughts

You honestly told her that you didn't feel pain at all. Even before your death, you had CIP and you learned to live with it, but in Hell you became more relaxed and took much less care of your own health, which led to your injury. Rosie listened to you carefully, then gently stroked your hair and asked you to be careful

Rosie didn't want you to try. She knew that you tried to be more attentive to yourself and tried to avoid new wounds. You didn't want to upset Rosie and make her worry, which is why you tried not to put yourself in danger, not even realizing that Rosie was ready to show those who would harm you why she was overlord

🍎 Lucifer Morningstar x Reader 🐍

Lucifer knew perfectly well that you didn't feel pain. You've known each other for a long time and he often saw you after fights. You didn't pay attention to the wounds, just talked irritably about stained or torn clothes. You both knew that the lack of feeling pain had its own characteristics, so you made sure that the wounds were treated, and Lucifer made sure that no one dared to hurt you

Lucifer was much stronger than you, and when you were together, no one dared even try to look at you askance, but sometimes you got involved in fights, especially when it was the end of the year. You didn't want to hide, even though you knew you could have died. Every time Lucifer found out that you were fighting again, he watched, taking his time to intervene. It was only when he saw that you were seriously injured that he intervened

Lucifer sometimes offered to pick up personal guards for you, but you kept telling him that it wasn't necessary. Just because you didn't feel pain didn't mean you were reckless. You tried not to put yourself in excessive danger, realizing that even in Hell you could die

You didn't know how long you would be in Hell and whether it was possible to leave Hell at all, but while you were there you weren't going to let yourself die again, especially because you didn't notice any wound and Lucifer didn't mind helping you with it

🎪 Fizzarolli x Reader x Asmodeus 💕

In your relationship, Asmodeus has always tried to take care of Fizzarolli and you. He had sincere feelings for both of you, and you responded in kind, but if Fizzarolli really tried to be careful, then you got into trouble more often. They both saw the wounds healing on you, but you always said it was just a small accident and they had nothing to worry about. This went on until you returned with bloodstains on your clothes and serious wounds that you didn't pay attention to

They immediately rushed to you, both very worried. You convinced them that you were fine, but this time it was obviously not the case. Asmodeus treated your wounds, after which he seriously asked who did it. To his question, you smiled gently and said that they were much worse off than you, so you shouldn't have worried about it. However, there was something that did not escape their eyes. It's like you didn't feel the touch of your wounds

When Fizzarolli asked you if you were in pain, you were confused and said that you didn't feel any pain at all. You've had CIP and you've never felt pain in your entire life. There used to be problems because of this, but now you have learned to avoid serious problems, at least you tried

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli weren't going to leave you alone until your wounds were completely healed. They both surrounded you with care, worrying about you, to which you laughed softly and hugged them. Even in Hell, you were able to find those who gave you the warmth that warmed your heart and soul

Just thinking about playing Undertale with Alastor. No real reasons really, just because. I want to see how he'd react to it, see who he chooses to spare and who to kill. Because he definitely isn't doing a full mercy run, but I really doubt he'd do a full genocide run either

"So, yes, I'd like to say that I'm good at recognizing their needs right away. Sometimes if I'm distracted, it becomes harder, but eventually I see it."

With a tilt of his head, Alastor began to answer. "No and I won't deny such a thing. I can read emotions, but figuring out needs without a verbal say-so, I cannot do. If my partner needs something, they need to tell me." And he would leave it at that.

"I want to say yes," Though, a slightly nervous side of her wanted to say the opposite. "I would try to, at least. I'm good at being there for my friends when they need me, so I think I could do the same for a partner as well."

Maybe Rick shouldn't have drank a truth serum before answering questions, but oh well. "Eh, it depends. When it comes to physical needs, such as essentials and the like, I'm able to spot what my darling needs and give it to him. When it comes to emotions, nope. I suck at that part. I wish I could be better, but I don't give a fuck about emotions and certainly not my own." He shrugged.

All of these feature great aspec representation (non-sex repulsed Alastor for the nsfw ones), great writing, great characterization and amazing storytelling. I've fallen down a rabbit hole called Hellaverse and Radioapple and I can't get out, so I'm hoping to bring all of you with me.

Lucid dreams of New Orleans by @radiaurapple . Heartbreaking, fluffy, beautiful, and amazing setting, writting and characterization. It might be becoming my favourite. Human AU (kinda), and deserving of so much love.

Of Saints and Sinners by @morningstarwrites . No list in the Radioapple fandom is complete without this. I don't think I need to write why it's great, everyone knows. The fun, the fluff, the lightheartedness, and fantastic writing skills.

Strange Apetites by GotllPhi. Human Alastor AU, gorey, sexy (nsfw), surprisingly fluffy and intense. The characterizations are on point and the storytelling is *cheff's kiss*. It's on hiatus while the author is getting married, but still a must read.

Lucifer and his Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Relationship series by @keelywolfe . Another nsfw one (much more so), but amazingly done and with great aspec representation. Beautifully written, intense and the story is just hooking. Also, the RadioApple Standalones are a very fun read, the sfw and the nsfw alike.

I shine only with the light you gave me by @soot-and-salt . This one is just a one-shot, but it shot through my heart. Gorgeous short story, great rythm and development, I fell in love. They have a series called We should've been enemies which is also fantastic (and nsfw), very sexy and intriguing, and still developing!

Lolm by @radioapple-heathen . It's only one chapter so far (and marked Explicit for the future of the fic), but it got to me. Fun shenanigans, a pet snake and a shared hatred for technology. It's very well characterized and nicely written.

Eat your Heart out by @seducipher . Modern human AU, nsfw and very addictive. It's still going, but it was a fic a binged in one night. Good characterization and nicely written.

Bedtime Rituals to try out before the next Angelic War by @miribalis . A very cute, fluffy and domestic fanfic that I can't recommend enough. Very well written with amazing characterization, and it's completed!

@notherpuppet 's Human AU series. Another fandom classic, but, again, no list is complete without it. In love with their artstyle, their story and their characterizations. Fluff, fun and shenanigans galore!

I still have too many saved for later that I'm thisting to read, so this list might expand in the future.

Al can be a ruthless, intimidating and manipulative specimen. Still, he turns into a grinning goofball when in your presence.

When first meeting a demon such as Alastor, one of the things you notice before anything else is their dominating and confident aura.

BUT let me tell you something miss!!

No matter how soft or feminine, seductive, masculine/ androgynous, childish or serious you are... The deer man LOVES to be babied by you.

Only behind closed doors that is.

And I'm not even talking about your intimate moments yet!

Alastor, as someone with a lot in his mind -always planning his moves in advance and always controlling situations- likes the comforting and tender touch or words of a woman.

He can relax and allow someone else to take care of things for once.

It makes him all giggly and silly when you do baby him. To him, you're a nurturing presence just like his mother once was.

His braincells vanish and he just accepts anything you have in store for him.

You wanna squeeze his pale cheeks? Comb your fingers through his hair? Play some monstrosity of a game that Niffty suggested?

Your deer man makes up little songs about how miserable he is when you choose to help Charlie in her drawings, instead of listening to him rumbling about a new way to embarrass Vox.

And he makes sure to sing them when you pass by.

Alastor is always hungry. It doesn't look like it, but this man is always munching on something.

He doesn't like his scars. But this aversion doesn't come from a place of insecurity about his appearance.

It's the meaning behind them that messes with his head.

A deer with the marks his predators left on him. He is not prey to anybody.

That's why he allows humans and demons alike to think of him as a Wendigo. It's less humiliating in his point of view.

But isn't that another childish response of denial to his demon manifestation?

He talks in his sleep, tossing and turning, shifting closer to you until you hardly have any space left on the bed.

You of course have fallen down from it. Luckily for you, his rugs are plush and thick.

He can go for hours without any rest whatsoever.

He loves loves LOVES eye contact. He relishes in the way your features contort in pleasure, the way you open your mouth for a soundless moan to escape, the subtle way your eyes roll back when he hits that spot deep inside you. He just has to see your face during the act.

Alastor is rather proud of his manhood. A bit arrogant even.

Yandere Alastor x Male Overlord Reader Headcanons

📻 Smilling is Alastor's whole thing, and even though he doesn't care if others smile or not, but as his Darling, he seems to care quite a lot! He's not that vocal about it though, only making a slight comment here and there: "You're never fully dressed without a smile!" or "A smile makes all the difference!" All to try and make you smile more. I imagine he says the same speech he did to Charlie, that a smile can be anything you want it to be and the effect it has on others.

📻 When all else fails he'd use his wits and puns to get a smile out of you, and when you finally do smile on occasion Alastor is over the moon. It's a huge success in his book, he'd immediately praise how lovely that smile looks on your face and he'd pat your head or back approvingly as well.

📻 Since you're on Overlord yourself Alastor feels nothing but respect for you. If you were a simple sinner he'd feel superior despite you being his Darling. But in this case, you're on the same level if not stronger than him so that just gives him more of a reason to make you smile, anything to get your approval, it's the only one he needs or cares for anyway. In this case, you letting him stay by your side only fuels his ego because it's a pleasure only he gets to have and no one else. You're his and he has no intentions of sharing you with anyone, he's fiercely protective and possessive over you and that includes your smile. Only he gets to see and experience your purest form, sinners would rather make a deal than die by his hand just because they saw something they shouldn't.

📻 Alastor is more than fine with having a non-chatty Darling, he doesn't speak unless he has to so he can relate to you. That said, he's only okay with it when you're quiet to everyone else but him. After all, he's only this close to you so shouldn't he earn the pleasure of hearing your voice? He'd push you for a conversation sometimes, asking you questions or just string up a conversation to the point where you're forced to respond. The longer you keep quiet the more irritated and persistent he'll become, so it's better to start sooner or later if you don't want to see Alastor slowly lose himself.

📻 Although there's no official answer to whether Alastor likes to sing or dance, I have my personal thoughts on that so I'll use them here. I think Alastor likes dancing, with a specific person that is, that being you. You won't catch him on the dancefloor with anyone but you. Though because you ain't that much of a dancer, and unlike the smile thing Alastor doesn't really mind. He is forceful with everyone else as we saw in the show, but as his Darling and fellow Overlord, he has too much respect for you to push you to do something against your will. Though if you would ever agree to dance with him, he'd be really respectful and make sure you enjoy yourself so that he'll have a chance at another dance next time. Also, you always only dance to jazz or swing music, that's one thing Alastor will always put his foot down on.

📻 Singing is the second thing Alastor would take the most seriously after smiling when it comes to his Darling. Singing is one of those things that lets you express yourself, you can show any emotion by it. Even though Alastor had like four songs in the show, I feel like he only sings when he has to, always to make himself look good or to be on the winning side. So I feel like Alastor would be a little disappointed if you chose to solve problems like a normal person instead of having a rap battle with someone. Though I feel like that's a subject he won't push on about too much despite his feelings, he'll only allude to it from time to time.

📻 Overall, the only issue Alastor would have with a Darling like that is him not smiling, but that's about it. It's the only thing he'd be aggressively vocal about and sometimes the singing one. Otherwise, he tolerates everything else about you. All Alastor needs is to have you all to himself and if it means he's the only one to witness you do any of those stuff in private, how can he complain? He much rather prefers that scenario anyway, you're his after all.

Yandere Vox x Male Overlord Reader Headcanons

📺 Unlike Alastor, Vox doesn't put that much importance on smiling like his rival, but he still views it as useful. He's a public-based Overlord, so a smile is always important to have when trying to sell his brand. You can be a part of the Vee's or not, you're still an Overlord that is either on his level or stronger, so Vox is bewildered how you don't even try to smile when talking to those below you to win them over.

📺 He'd try to explain to you how much more influence and power you could have with a smile alone: "Smile, and they'll know who's in charge here!'' or ''It's the best way to win the public's adoration!'' He just wants you to present yourself the same way he does. He'd be really disappointed if you continued to refuse his idea, but once you smiled at something he said in private, it made him stop and think. It made him realize that something so alluring should be for his eyes only, he should be the only one to enjoy such a sight and no one else. He'd always whisper sweet nothing into your ear whenever he catches you smiling, hoping it'll encourage you to smile more. It fuels him and he'd do anything to get you to smile like that again for him.

📺 As a fellow Overlord, he respects you a ton, especially if you're a part of the Vee's with him. Because you're so different from the typical Overlord he surrounds himself with, he's much more wary of how he approaches you in fear of setting you off. He wants you to adore him the same way he does you and he'll try to achieve that by treating you like the King you are. Anything you say goes and even when he tries to push some issues forward, as his Darling you're the only one that can shut him down.

📺 Though Vox would prefer if you were a bit more chatty for the sake of the brand and all that, he won't really say anything to you about it. Your presence is enough to either win other sinners over or scare all the threats away. Kinda like Alastor, in private Vox will be very chatty with you, you're his Darling so he only feels safe enough with you to spill all of his thoughts out. But unlike his rival, Vox won't push or force you to respond, he's more than okay with you just being silent as he talks, it's therapeutic in a way. Though he'd always encourage you to talk some more if you do eventually say something, your voice just makes him so happy. He'll stop whatever he was doing just to focus all of his attention on you as you talk, but if you stop that's okay, he's already satisfied to hear his Darling talk even if just a little.

📺 Vox ain't that much of a dancer, he's pretty stiff actually, so he's both glad and bothered by the fact that you aren't. Good for him cause you don't pressure or force him to do something he knows he's bad at and embarrass himself in front of you, unlike a certain moth. But at the same time, he'd want to see you dance, he wouldn't care how good you would be at it, you're his Darling so he'd still think you're brilliant regardless! He won't ever push you to do it though, taking how he feels about it he won't force you into something he knows he wouldn't like doing himself.

📺 Singing is what Vox makes up for not being able to dance, he's a good singer and he knows it, though you're the only one who he'd sing to willingly. He'll sing to you in private all the time, wanting to charm you and make you weak for him just like how weak he is for you. But it's the same thing as with dancing, he would love to hear you sing for him, about anything really, but again, he won't force you to do it. Sometimes he'd sing a song that requires a duet to see if you'll budge. Unfortunately for him, you don't, but he won't say anything, he adores you regardless.

📺 Seems like Vox shares a similar issue with his rival, his one problem is you not wanting to smile more. Outside of that he sometimes gently tries to persuade you into singing or smiling for him, but won't push the issue onward if he faces rejection for his request. Vox is more than satisfied knowing you'd sometimes budge in private for him, that's all he really needs and craves really. Him being the only one to witness his Darling doing any of those things makes his ego only grow, because it's his privilege alone and no one else's. And it'll stay that way no matter what.

An Unlikely Alliance: Part 1

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Vox's voice was glitched out and distorted, a scowl etched across his screen. Alastor looked down at him, his smile turning more malicious. "Why, I could ask you the same thing, old pal." He sneered, lifting his cane and promptly shoving Vox out of his way. "Now, run along now. I'm waiting to meet my wife and her friend." Vox lifted a hand to stop Alastor's assault, wrapping his claws around the cane and promptly shoving it away.

"Yeah, well, my life doesn't revolve around you, asshole. I'm here to meet my wife and her friend too." Vox crossed his arms, staring ahead at the busy street. Alastor stiffened for a moment, glancing down at the shorter Overlord. Vox stood up, his scowl replaced with a charming smile as two sinners made their way over to where Alastor and Vox were standing.

"Vox!"

"Alastor!"

The two women ran up to their respective husbands, engulfing them in a tight hug. (Well, Alastor's wife merely gave him a warm side hug). Vox's face glitched out for a moment as he glanced down at his wife, his smile growing increasingly strained.

"Victoria..." He began, warning evident in his tone. The fox-demoness gave her husband a cheeky smile, her tail swishing behind her as she walked over to place her arm around the other demoness.

"Vox, I want you to meet Estelle! She's my best friend this side of Pentagram City. Alastor is her husband." Estelle looked up at her husband, biting the inside of her cheek to keep herself from laughing at the way his sclera turned black, the grip on his cane growing tighter by the second.

"Darling, a word?" Vox replied in a saccharine tone, extending his hand towards Victoria. Estelle and Victoria exchanged a glance before Victoria took her husbands hand, allowing him to lead her out of earshot.

"Listen-"

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" He whisper-yelled, his growing wide in anger. "WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU MENTION THAT YOUR BEST FRIEND'S HUSBAND IS THE FUCKING RADIO DEMON?" Victoria sighed, placing a hand on her husband's shoulder and patting it comfortingly. The static that had overtaken his screen calmed for a moment, and his breathing evened out.

"I didn't tell you because I knew you would freak out, love." Vox narrowed his eyes.

For good fucking reason. He thought.

"Besides, you're both powerful Overlords. Can't you just behave for a few hours while me and Estelle shop around?" He opened his mouth to object, but then Victoria started pouting at him, her eyes growing wide as he ears were pressed flat against her head.

Fuck.

He sighed, closing his eyes and running a hand down his screen.

"Ffffffffffine." He drawled out with great difficulty. "But you owe me a full week of sex." Victoria smiled, giggling as she hooked her arm with her husband's, walking back towards Estelle and Alastor.

"We already do that, Vox." He grumbled under his breath, rolling his eyes and plastering on a wide smile as he locked eyes with Alastor once more. Estelle and Victoria exchanged an amused glance.

"It appears we must put up with each other, dear friend." Alastor hummed, tilting his head and narrowing his eyes at the way Estelle hooked her arm under Victoria's.

"I'm not your fucking friend. I'm putting up with you for four hours, and that's it." Vox snapped back, glaring up at the deer demon. Alastor chuckled, then began walking behind Estelle and Victoria with Vox.

"Chin up, old pal. I can't be that much of a bother!" Vox groaned. This was going to be the longest four hours of his life.

Vox wanted to die. Again. He'd rather sit through Val bitch and moan about Angel Dust then sit through another two hours of Alastor's stupid fucking puns and stupid fucking fashion advice. He was currently slumped on a couch facing the dressing room of one of Velvette's clothing stores. Alastor clapped as Estelle gave a little spin, showcasing a flowy, floral dress. It was very 1920s, and Vox thought it looked like what his fucking grandma would wear. He glanced up as Victoria pulled back the curtain to the dressing room, striking a pose to show off the dress she was wearing. His mouth fell open.

"Do you like it?" Victoria asked, but her teasing smile suggested that she already knew the answer. The gold, sparkling fabric of the dress hung just above her knees, and the neckline plunged into the valley of her breasts. The straps holding the dress up were donned with emeralds, and the fabric clung to her figure perfectly.

Oh he was fucked.

If he wanted to leave before, there was no fucking way he would be able to wait until they got home now.

"You look ravishing." He growled, grinning up at her through lidded eyes. Estelle giggled, covering her mouth with her hand as she glanced in between the two of them. Victoria followed in suit.

"Thank you, love." Vox would have very much liked to rip the dress off of her that very moment, but he would rather die again than let Alastor see his precious wife in such a position. They bought the clothing they wanted and headed off to the food court in the mall. Estelle and Victoria walked ahead of them, giggling and whispering lowly. Probably gossiping or some shit.

"Hey," Vox snapped, looking up at Alastor. He was glaring dangerously at where the two demonesses arms were linked. "Get your fucking eyes off my wife." Alastor glared down at the other man.

"Then tell your wife to let go of mine." He growled, a predatory gleam in his eyes. Vox's eyes narrowed, his scowl only growing as he stopped to look up at the looming deer man.

"Stop being so fucking uptight. My wife can do whatever she wants." A low growl escaped from Alastor's throat.

"Not with my wife."

"Oh please. Stop acting all high and mighty, you bitch boy." Alastor's antlers began to grow, shadowy tendrils rising from the floor. Vox's screen glitched, and wires slid out of the ports in the back of his head. Victoria and Estelle stopped walking, looking back just as a poor fish-demon was flung over their heads. The exchanged a glance as their husbands began throwing a little temper tantrum. (Well, it was more like a full on massacre, but they were both used to it at this point.)

"Well, fuck."
