#i feel you op i also started initially to read the stories but got busy grinding for events instead 😭 #i also haven't read any of the events not even madguy bc i feel like im gonna miss a lot of context i feel sorry for my boys #although I've recently caught up to ch7 and it made me a stornger more brainrotted madguy fan than before #ppl said it's gonna get more insane later on and im nervous #but so far. the stories are GOOD i highly recommend reading it if you're able to #it's just kamen rider but with extra steps #also to assuage your fear (i hope?) i heard from the grapevines that the change to leon is minimal you can easily miss it (via @chipsncookies)

YES I feel a lot better knowing other people are in the same boat as me! :') as someone who only plays games very casually, the events are fun (and have been a good excuse to get those support stories on characters I was kinda ignoring) but SO distracting -- and they have a connected overarching narrative of their own (make sure you read them in order when you get to them!) so I don't want to skip any. which I guess is to say that my problem is that I'm enjoying the writing too much! how dare they.

overall it definitely has that Kamen Rider tone and feeling I was hoping for and I am VERY pleased with it! I do kinda miss the kitbashy monsters, though otherwise it's basically just Rider But With More Random Scenes of Characters Being Ridiculous At Each Other and that is exactly what I was after. (also exquisite taste, Mad Guys are best guys 🤝)

and as long as I still haven't gotten to episode 13 and can therefore continue to be hilariously naive, let me just say that I know what I'm dreaming of for Leon. he deserves it.

...although I do think it would be VERY funny if they made that whole big "WE WILL BE UPDATING LEON'S SPRITES TO REFLECT STORY CHANGES!!!!" announcement and then it turns out that they just like. hue-shifted his eye color slightly to the right or something. it's not even a big story beat, Leon just decided to try out some color contacts, maybe comb his hair back a little, and we don't have the heart to tell him to stop. :(

Hey uhh I gotta say I love your twst art (esp. Jamil!!) but the font you use (or is it your handwriting?) is really hard to read, because the E is missing the vertical line, and it gets pushed into other letters, and the H looks like a U or and N so a lot of words get sort of mixed up. Idk if this makes sense, but is it possible for you to change it? If it's your handwriting, I'm sorry for complaining about it. And yeah I am going to make the effort to read the text no matter what bc like I said, I enjoy the art, but I just wanted you to know this, since I think I might not be the only one struggling with this. The guards and soldiers who protected their home looked to the mountain as well, their acute hearing and attention to detail noting the sudden change in the environment around them. Some clutched their spears tight, expecting the Lynel to come charging down the mountain at any moment.

At least those who were insensitive; children and humble merchants selling their wares, seemed unbothered and didn't notice. Which was a good thing in the princesses' eyes. The last thing they needed was for wide spread panic to circulate throughout the domain when they could put a stop to it quickly.

"I fear for the worst. The Lynel have been acting unruly lately. Far more than usual, I'm afraid..." She spoke aloud to one of the guards at her side; Bazz. A young Zora soldier whom was still fresh in the ranks, his dark scales a noticeable contrast against his silver armor.

He nodded in agreement. "As long as it doesn't find its way down the mountain... We can keep control of its location and make sure it passes by without detecting the domain." He said, hoping to ease the princesses' worries.

She knew he was right. They couldn't risk everyone's safety when the Lynel wasn't close enough to wreck havoc. But she still wanted to make sure it didn't pose as a potential risk, especially if they could stop it early.

"Link!" One of the guards announced loud enough to bring Mipha's attention away from the mountain and towards the entrance of the glittering domain.

"Link is here!" Another joyous guard called out.

Turning to face him, she immediately caught sight of the familiar young knight making his way into the domain. Either to visit, or to pass on a message from the princess Zelda, she didn't know. But she was so glad to see him. If there was anyone could help with their little problem, it was Link. The one person she had all the faith of the world in.

"Oh, Link! Thank Hylia you're here!" Mipha called out, a cupped hand resting against the corner of her lips so her voiced echoed out, hoping to catch his attention quickly. "We could use your help!"

Look I know y’all are in the unenviable position of having to justify your jobs on a weekly basis to a scrum master who needs you to jargon up an explanation of what you did all week and occasionally provide a demo proving A. it actually exists, and B. it will have an impact they can actually pass to their manager. I get it, it’s annoying and you’re probably more annoyed about it than me.

But can we please stop making those targets “Fix a UI that doesn’t need fixing” and choose things that...y’know...don’t make the entire experience of using the website worse
