Oops, I finished my art one already.
If I make something that I like more than the RezDragon Show (WHICH I NEGLECTED TO POST HERE OOPS), I'll update this. I have my doubts I'll be doing much more visual art for the rest of the month, since there's an album sitting in Audition at the moment. I just needed a break from it.
ANYWAYS, WOW what a THICK ass year of art from me. Mostly due to the fact I've been trapped at home with a LOT of time on my hands! Fun! As far as my actual technical skill, I don't feel like I really improved all that much this year, however my concepts and ideas are getting far more concrete. I had some fantastic works this year because I managed to see their concepts to completion and I'm very proud of that! Basically I feel I am getting better at translating what is in my head, both ideas and emotions.
I'll have more thoughts about the overall year in my Best of 2024 video, which I will not be releasing that until after Christmas (it's tradition).
Anyways, more art info under the cut.
January - May wasn't hard to make selections because as far as art, it was semi dry those months, especially February. But June - November GOD, it was hard. It was really hard to chose between Pride and I'm Glad I Poisoned You for June, fuck. I ended up choosing I'm Glad I Poisoned You because its detail work and background are far better.
July was another tough one and I ended up with The Girls Are Sleeping... the full version of it. I never posted the full version here because it gets HOT on the last panel, OOPS!
August was another dry month actually because that's when I was doing Terrain work. But I did update Rez's texture near the end of the month. I made this quick image to show it off, and I really like Rez's expression and body language in it. This is an image I completely forgot to share here, but it's been my icon on Sheezy since I made it.
September and October were two hard months as well, especially October, HOO. Terrain gave me a lot of motivation in October, so I was pumping out a lot of good shit. Settled on the image I made at the last minute because the atmosphere in it is a favorite, really happy with how this came out.
November was a toss up between The Feast and Disabled. Disabled has better composition than The Feast's, but The Feast boasts superior detail. Sheezy also LOVED The Feast, it's my most popular piece on the site. Runner up for November is also the image I did of Rez leaning over Ash, I really like how Ash's face came out in that one.
And lastly, December, which was between The Silence and The RezDragon Show, which I just finished today. I really like the atmosphere of The Silence, but the poses and lighting is better in The RezDragon Show. Really love Rez's pose in that one, she looks like a grumpy teenager, c'mon Rez, you'd be 29. Look at Ash, the 82 year old being respectful.
Guys I'm gonna be 30 next year.

ok but, you should write the second part of the reddie meeting at a museum prompt where they see the stars. it's just so cute AAAAAA
Aah, sorry this took so long. I wasn’t really planning on writing a part 2, but then it happened oops heh. Hope you like it !! ♡ I also posted the entire thing on ao3!
READ PART 1 HERE
READ ON AO3 HERE
Eddie was nervously scrolling through the pictures on his phone, fingers sliding between the three most recent ones. Gorgeous photos of Jupiter that Richie had sent, all of them wonderfully detailed and undeniably beautiful.
His phone had dinged not even five minutes after he’d left the museum with Bill that day, a frantic text reading:
From: Starboy♡
I FORGOT 2 SHOW U THE PICS OF JUPITER!!!!
To: Starboy♡
Send them to me :)
So that was what Richie had done, and now Eddie was scrolling through them to calm himself down as he sat on the bus on his way to Richie’s apartment. There was no reason to be nervous, he knew. The two of them had texted constantly since that day at the museum, absolutely hitting it off, talking about everything and nothing. At some point, Eddie had lied awake until close to 4am, giggling at his phone screen when angry knocking from Bill’s room had snapped him out of it.
“It’s 4am, guh-go to sleep!” came Bill’s muffled yelling from the other side of the thin wall, and Eddie had sheepishly texted Richie that he’d had to go.
Eddie had felt bad keeping Bill up at night, but then again, could Bill really blame him? Knowing as well as Eddie that it had been a while since Eddie had dated anyone, Bill should really be more understanding. Eddie was enough of a giggler already when it came to crushes (he was really like a 12 year old school-girl at heart sometimes), but Richie was legitimately funny as well, leaving Eddie smiling so wide his face hurt for hours after. He’d even cried laughing once.
And now, the two were finally meeting up for their stargazing date. It had really only been three days since they’d met, but it was more than long enough to Eddie.
Richie was meeting him at the bus stop so they could walk to their destination together, and Eddie felt unprepared. When the bus speakers announced that Eddie’s stop was next, he started messing with his hair in the window reflection, the lack of light making it hard. His heart was beating with anticipation, his shaking fingers struggling to get his hair to look the way he wanted.
But then the bus stopped with a sudden halt, and a couple of seconds passed before he realized, scrambling out of his seat in a stressed hurry. He was halfway out the door when he noticed his bag missing, and with an unnecessarily loud “wait!” screamed at the driver, making several passengers jump in alarm, he sprinted back. Soon enough he was stumbling out the door of the bus, the handles of his tote bag tangled. He was struggling to get it over his shoulder when he heard laughter.
Eddie stopped in his tracks, already feeling the heat spreading across his cheeks as his eyes landed on Richie. Tall and mesmerizing with the telescope over his shoulder, he was smiling widely at Eddie.
“You…” Eddie shrank. “You saw that?”
“Uh huh”, Richie laughed.
“No, you didn’t”, Eddie argued.
“Oh, but I did.” Richie stepped in front of Eddie, staring down at him for just a moment.
“Damn it”, Eddie grumbled.
Richie just laughed before bending down to plant a soft kiss on Eddie’s cheek, hand gently placed on the side of Eddie’s neck. “Well, hi then.”
“Hi”, Eddie smiled as Richie pulled away.
“There’s a hill just past there.” He pointed towards some houses. “And I brought some light snacks and hot chocolate.”
They started walking, Richie leading the way.
“Sounds nice.”
“Also some blankets, and uh”, Richie rubbed the back of his neck, “I brought wine? Just in case you wanted that, although we’ll have to drink it from plastic cups.”
“Wine sounds great”, Eddie peaked a shy glance at Richie. “Do you need a hand with anything? I can carry your backpack.”
“No, I’m okay, I do this all the time.” They smiled at each other, hands brushing as they continued walking.
It wasn’t more than a ten-minute walk until they were standing on top of a small hill, away from all the houses, secluded and surrounded by stars.
Richie dumped his backpack on the grass, already starting to set up his telescope carefully. With a small glance up towards the sky, Eddie could feel all air leave his lungs. Never had he seen so many stars, thousands of glimmering dots decorating the sky.
“Wow”, he whispered.
“Beautiful, right?” Richie stepped up next to him. “The streetlights really ruin the sky on nights like this. When you get far enough away, it’s pretty amazing how many stars you can really see.”
“Yeah”, Eddie mumbled, eyes still locked on the black cover above, unable to stop staring. He could feel his heart slowing down into a steady beat, air filling his lungs in a way he hadn’t felt in a while. It was like finally being able to breathe, and he could feel tears well up in his eyes for a second, tranquility heavy in his chest. All at once it felt like he was pulled down to earth and flying at the same time, and it was all too much.  “I…” He stopped, speechless.
“I know the feeling.”
They stood looking up for a second, silence settling over them.
“I’ve set it up, if you wanna see?” Richie’s voice was quiet, softly pulling Eddie out of his daze.
Finally Eddie looked down to meet Richie’s eyes and was met with a nervous smile, crooked teeth biting down on the bottom lip. “Yeah.”
They walked up to the telescope, Richie pointing up the sky. “Do you see those stars over there? With the four stars like a square and three stars making a tail? Kinda looks like a wagon.”
Eddie followed Richie’s finger, and soon enough, he could see it. “Big dipper, right?”
“Oh, look at you having some knowledge on stars, huh?” Richie was nodding, impressed.
“I know some.” Eddie shrugged, a small smile forming on his lips.
“Well, the stars forming the Big Dipper are the seven brightest stars in Ursa Major, which you can also see if you look closely.” He pointed to the telescope for Eddie to peak into.
As Eddie looked closer, Richie talked, mentioning all the names of the stars, guiding Eddie all across the sky and its constellations for the next half hour.
With a careful hand placed on Eddie’s back, he pointed out the brightest stars, rambling about their history, how long they’d been burning, how long until they’d fade, why they had the names they did. And at some point, it all mushed together in Eddie’s brain, just like in the museum with Bill’s art. But the way Richie was waving his arms around, eyes lighting up just like the stars above was utterly endearing. Eddie was already falling in love.
“And now!” Richie clapped his hands together. “For the main entrée.”
Eddie giggled, a hand covering his mouth.
Richie’s excited smile faded into a softer one as he looked down at Eddie. “Holy shit you’re cute.”
Feeling a blush coming, Eddie looked away. “You’re the one who’s cute”, he mumbled.
“What?” Richie leaned closer. “Couldn’t hear ya there, Eds.”
“I said…” Eddie sighed. “You’re the one who’s cute.”
Richie’s eyes widened, apparently not expecting that. For a few moments, he opened and closed his mouth, seeming to try to come up with a response. Then he ducked his head, a quick movement, but Eddie still caught the grin he was sprouting.
“The way you talk about the stars and all that, how passionate you are and wanting to show me, it’s really cute”, Eddie continued and smiled shyly when Richie looked back up.
“I’m”, Richie shrugged. “I, uhm, I don’t really know how to respond to that.”
“That’s okay”, Eddie turned back towards the telescope. “But at least now you know.”
“I guess.”
Eddie could still feel Richie’s gaze on him, eyes burning into the side of his face.
“So what was that you said about a main entrée?”
“Oh, right!” Richie started moving the telescope around and changing its direction, going between looking into it and up at the sky. After a couple of seconds, he stepped back. “There.”
He pointed out a swirly line of stars. “If you look into the telescope you can see them more clearly, but those are the stars forming Scorpio.”
“Like the star sign?”
“Exactly.”
“Oh.”
After looking at the constellation for a few moments, Eddie felt a soft push on his bicep. He stepped away from the telescope, Richie taking over and once again moving it around, seeming to look for something specific.
“And then, if we just move it a little bit”, he mumbled to himself before pulling away with a satisfied smile. “Look now.”
Eddie peaked into the telescope again, met with a bright star in the center. It was the most prominent one he’d seen so far. Starting to get confused as to why exactly this star was more special than all the others, he almost pulled away when he realized that maybe this wasn’t even a star at all.
“Is that?”
“It is”, Richie chuckled.
“Wow.”
And with some focus and concentration, Eddie was sure he could see the brow-toned colors of Jupiter blending together. Or maybe he was just imagining things.
“You probably can’t see much right now, but hold on, I can try adjusting a bit.”
Eddie stepped away and as Richie tinkered with the telescope, he glanced up at the sky, eyes settling on the gleaming planet just above the Scorpio constellation. And with a sudden awareness that the glorious Jupiter, Richie’s favorite planet, was right there, he inhaled sharply. Massive and breathtaking yet oh so small from where they were standing, and it was right there; not just a picture anymore. It was real, and Eddie was looking right at it.
“There, you should be able to see it better now.”
Eddie took a look, and for sure there it was. And it was so obvious now; the planet beautiful even from this simple view.
“It’s right there”, Eddie whispered. “What the fuck.”
A bark of a laugh made Eddie pull away to look over at Richie.
“It’s crazy, right?”
Eddie nodded frantically, eyed wide. “Yes, holy shit, I don’t even know how to react to that.”
Richie put his hands in his pockets. “We can just lie down on the blanket and look at the stars from here? You want wine, right?”
“Yes, please.”
The two of them sat down, both turned towards the other with their knees touching. Eddie got to talk to Richie about what he did too, working as a mechanic and rambling about his love for cars with Richie chiming in whenever he could.
“Maybe you could show me how they work and all that sometime?” His smile was nervous, as if he wasn’t sure Eddie wanted to meet again.
“I’d love that”, Eddie put his arms around his knees, pulling them close to his chest. “Dunno if it’s gonna be very interesting, probably boring.”
“Eddie”, Richie interrupted, scooting closer, “you just let me ramble about stars and constellations for an hour straight. I’d love for you to show me cars and, uhm, motors and stuff.”
Eddie nodded, head tilted to the side. “Okay.”
“Yeah?” Richie was leaning in closer, eyes flickering down to look at Eddie’s lips.
“Yeah.”
Then Eddie closed the gap, their lips meeting in a soft kiss, Eddie catching Richie’s bottom lip between his. Butterflies erupted in his stomach, all of his focus on the wetness of Richie’s mouth, the two of them fitting together perfectly. A hand landed on Eddie’s waist, pulling him closer, and Eddie’s heart was beating faster and faster for each second passing.
Something wet poked at the underside of his upper lip, and Eddie opened up to meet Richie’s tongue with his own. Soon he was lying on his back, Richie hovering over him, fingers stroking at Eddie’s bare hip underneath his sweater.
Richie pulled away after a few more seconds, looking down at Eddie with warm eyes behind his glasses. Even in the dark, Eddie could spot the litter of freckles on his face, and could only imagine the freckles covering the rest of his body.
As Richie leaned down again, capturing Eddie’s lips once more, Eddie knew where the night was headed. And he couldn’t wait to get to know the stars on Richie’s body just like he’d gotten to know the stars scattered across the glittering sky they were lying underneath.

BNHA AU Ideas : Online Besties Meet Cute
Also on AO3!
TL;DR:  What if Shinso and Midoriya had been internet friends before UA? Cute moments at the sports festival is what happens.
shinsou had a tumblr/yt channel and he did art and stuff + talked about hot he wanted to be a hero, had like a mask on sou you couldnt see his face
izuku had a tumblr/yt channel where he did hero analysis + gave quirk tips and talked about training/studying for UA
you know those commentators w the lil talksprites? izuku has those and shinsou is the one who draws them
he and shinsou become friends
shinsou posts a video about how he got into gen ed and izuku freaks out like "I GO TO YOUR SCHOOL", this is news to the both of them bc they have been chatting in English
so they set up a game of trying to find the other without having any idea what the other looks like, and only izuku knows shinsous quirk bc he asked for tips
they both thought they were from diff countries
the sports festival
shinsou says 1 thing and izuku starts vibrating w glee
izuku just points and shinsou, yells "YOU", hugs him and suplexes him into the ground
shinsou is just shook
shinsou is like "whO aRe YoU"
and izuku just grins and throws him out of the ring
and like, the second shinsou crosses the line izuku shouts out shinsous screen name and shinsou loses it laughing as he rolls away from the line
"FUCK You!! I CouLD hAve WOn"
"I FOUND U fiRST THO"
"sSIUSHIHUS SHUT UP"
and midnight is So Lost
shinsous not even mad, izuku runs over to help him up and shinsou drags him onto the ground as well and they laugh like idiots
because at this point theyve been online friends for like 4 years
izuku has self esteem bc he n shinsou are kinda popular creators online
shinsou should have won the "find me" dare
he knew izuku was in the hero course, of which their are only 2 classes and then he knew he was in 1A because of the USJ and he knew he was a guy, so that like 13 people to pick from
and izuku still won
bc shinsou had a "purple sleepy vibe"
shinizu podcast, it’s just 45-60 minutes of shinsou being salty and izuku wheezing
izuku and shinsou just conspire to get shinsou into the hero course by making shinsou look as good as possible like
"oh aizawa sensei, can shinsou and i train outside? he was going to teach me some new moves"
Or
"wow shinsou's quirk would be so good for this - insert scenario here- "
a villain attacks 1A and izuku just turns to aizawa
"dont you just wish shinsou was in our class?"
aizawl has all the paperwork ready he just hasn’t turned it in bc it’s amusing to see how far izuku will go to get shinsou into this class. he has told shinsou this and shinsou is telling aizawa to let it keep going because its bringing him joy
in this au izuku's arms dont get as messed up bc he and shinsou have been training to be heroes since they were 12 so instead of just "punch harder" izuku can punch smarter
also cause izuku has a habit of telling people about ofa because he thinks they should know, not -because they need to izu tells shinsou about it
shinsous like "ahh,,, shit oops"
izuku is just like "honestly it was wild someone being mad w me because i had a quirk lmao"
ok but shinsou going up on his dorms roof to think he looks over n izuku is looking at him w a "wtf" expression on the other dorm roof
shinsou: your,,, not gonna jump right??
izuku, looking sheepish: no? you?
someone yells at them to do a flip
izuku looks sad
shinsou: yOU dO a fLip BITCH
also: mic has openings to take kids out carolling thanks
-        a few 1a girls, izuku, shinsou, ibara and a few random other first years singing christmas carols in the city as mic conducts thanks
izuku begging shisou to let him study his quirk and they work out that if you join into a song shinsou was singing, that counts as a response
shinsou learns all of the most catchy songs he can
thats how he catches the traitor, he sings be prepared n the traitor joins in
the i want it that way scene from b99 but it’s just shinsou
aizawa is convinced izuku and shinsou are dating
they arent but they also have had like 0 close friends before and a very huggy because they have had like no human contact
shinsou, peacefully taking a nap w his head on izu's lap
aizawa, who just walked in: ,,,,,,,

Zach Werenski #10 - FWB ;)
Tumblr media
requested >> yes / no
word count >>
warnings >> just some steamy make out sessions ya hear
a/n >> hello its me the most trash human who sucks at writing/posting oops... im going to try to get back into the swing of things but please dont quote me on that cause as said before im trash :))))
It was game four of the first round for the Blue Jackets. Of course, they were versing the defending Stanley Cup Champions and losing so far this round. But you had faith in your dad’s old team. And with him being an Alumni, you were lucky enough to get to sit in the box seats when you weren’t busy. Since it’s the playoffs, you always had time to come to the arena and enjoy your favourite pastime - being a loving hockey fan.
“Y/N,” your dad calls you out, you turn from the bar - your fresh bag of popcorn in hand - to see him waving you over. He’s smiling, as he had been since arriving. Your dad always loved being at the arena.
As you walk across the suite, you realize he’s joined with a handful of guys in suits. Your dad always loved introducing you to people. These people never really cared to meet an old hockey players daughter. Most of the men in suits you’ve met over the years just smiled and would usually forget who you were by the next time they saw you. This time, you had a feeling the young men in suits were going to remember you.
“I’d like to introduce you to some of the kids on the roster this year,” your dad says as you stand beside him and look at the three young guys.
“Finally introducing me to some people my age huh dad?” You tease him, but his face says it all. He already regretted calling over his little girl over to met the cute hockey players. “I’m Y/N,” you say and extend a hand out for the boys to shake.
“James,” the blonde nods and shakes your hand.
“Alex,” the next one says and you smile in response.
Then you look at the last Columbus player. There was no missing the shiner that was his right eye. Everyone who was watching the playoffs right now knew about the guy standing in front of you. Zach Werenski, managed to block a shot with a puck last game but also managed to come out and finish the game before his eye shut. But besides the obvious injury, his face was pretty nice. He was cute.
“Zach, it’s nice to meet you,” he says while shaking your hand.
“Wow, that looks as bad as I thought,” you say and toss some popcorn into your mouth.
“Yeah,” Zach chuckles and looks down, “it’s hard to miss that’s for sure,” he adds as he looks back up at you.
“It’ll heal nice, have a little scar there I’m sure,” your dad exclaims. For a moment there you forgot he was even standing beside you.
“That’s what they tell me,” Zach nods and smiles at your dad.
“I’m going to take a seat again, you guys want to join me? I’m sure these old guys can only tell you so many stories before it gets boring, trust me I know,” you tease your dad and flash him a smile before stepping forward. You’re standing beside Zach, who’s watching you, and raise a brow.
“Yeah, we’ll sit with you,” Zach says and then him and the two others follow you to the free seats in the box.
A few minutes go by and you’re too busy wondering what Zach thinks of you to really pay much attention to the game. But then the Jackets score and you’re back into it. Never had you’ve been one to worry about guys, in fact you’ve never even really dated, it just wasn’t your style. So as it settled down in the arena again and play was simple on the ice, you had another handful of popcorn before offering the bag to Zach.
“Want some?” You ask. Zach looks at the bag for a second. “Some buttery calories won’t hurt, I’m assuming your NHL season is over with that face anyways,” you say.
Zach chuckle, “this face?” He questions, in a joking matter. You nod and eat more popcorn, watching him as he just smiles at you. “Fine, this face would love some popcorn,” Zach grabs a handful of popcorn and stuffs it into his face. You smile and then turn your attention back to the game.
“Summer’s almost over,” you groan out loudly and flop down on the couch. Zach chuckles as you kick your feet up into his lap. “Let’s go swim or something, come on my parents are out of town and the pool is to good to not be swimming in today,” you state.
“Can we grab some food on the way?” He asks.
“Uh hell yeah,” you say and throw your legs off Zach to stand up from the couch. “Let’s go!”
Zach rolls his eyes at you but follows you towards the front door of your apartment. It’s quite a drive to your parents house, seeing as you live in an apartment downtown and they own an acre just on the outskirts of the city. But it was also your favourite place to go. With a massive pool, hot tub, and plenty of nice green grass - and of course you couldn’t forget the ice rink near the back of the property either. But with it being summertime and temperatures high, you were currently taking advantage of the pool.
Your parents were enjoying the last couple weeks of summer in Greece - which you were unbelievably jealous about, but that just meant you got their house to yourself. In fact today had been the first day in a while you’ve been at your apartment, just to hangout with Zach of course.
“This place still sort of blows me away,” Zach says as he pulls up through the long driveway. Once he parks the car you realize that your parents housekeeper was over, which sort of put a damper on your plans. “Who’s here?” Zach questions as you two walk to the front door.
“Gemma,” you answer and open the door.
The middle aged British woman comes around the corner with her brows pulled together and a towel in hand. “Oh, Y/N, you scared me,” she says and places a hand over her heart.
“Sorry, Gem,” you say, “tidying up?” You ask, she hadn’t been around yet this week, and you knew the messes you had left around.
“Just a bit,” she nods, “come to swim?” She asks and glances at Zach now. You knew if she got a moment alone with you she was going to hit you with a few questions of the cute boy standing beside you.
“You know me so well,” you smile and begin to walk through the foyer to the open concept area that was a dining room and family room, with only an island counter top cutting off the kitchen. The high roofs were always your favourite. Just as Zach took a few steps with you, you turn around realizing your mistake, “oh, Gemma this is Zach, Zach this is Gemma,” you introduce the two.
“Nice to meet you,” Zach smiles.
“You too,” Gemma mirrors his smile and with that you’re guiding the way to where Zach could find a pair of swim trunks your brother keeps around and the towels too.
“I’ll meet you by the pool,” you say to Zach and hand him everything, “just going to grab some drinks and snacks,” you add before pushing him towards the door. Gemma was standing at the island counter watching you two.
“Okay?” Zach is confused by your behaviour but goes out the doors without a question.
“You have a boyfriend and didn’t tell me?” Gemma accuses you once the door is closed behind Zach. You fight rolling your eyes and shake your head at her.
“We’re just friends,” you state.
“Why? He’s cute, he has to like you-“
“Has to?” You question with a chuckle. As you walk towards where she stood in the kitchen you cross your arms at your chest.
“Yes, I mean you’re quite the catch, sweetheart,” Gemma pauses and puts away the pan she was drying, “and there’s the way he looks at you, gives it away too,” she smiles.
“We’re just friends, Gem,” you repeat.
“Sure, sweetheart,” she says with a smile before turning around and grabbing another dish to dry.
“So,” you begin what you had planned to say before her questioning your friendship with Zach, “you can have the rest of the day off,” you smile.
“Aha,” Gemma points a finger at you, “you are dating him!”
“I’m not!”
Gemma gives you a long hard stare, “fine, I’ll leave. I’m guessing I’m not to say anything about him coming over to your parents either?”
“It’d be greatly appreciated,” you smile.
“Alright,” she sighs and throw her dish towel on the counter, “I’m out of here then, I’ll be back tomorrow to finish the laundry though so hide your not boyfriend before then,”
You roll your eyes at her as she walks passed you, “goodbye Gemma,” you call out to her.
“Be safe!” She shouts back and then the front door is shutting behind her.
Yet another eye roll comes after her departure and then you’re on a mission. You go to the fridge and set two water bottles on the counter before sprinting up to your old bedroom where you knew a bikini was. It was small, but that was the intention, you smirk at your own reflection and adjust the strings on your bottoms before making your way back downstairs. With your phone in one hand and the water bottles in the other, you go outside into the shining sun.
Zach’s sitting at the cabana style set up just off to the left of the pool. He looks up from his phone as you approach him, and there’s no missing the look he gives you. You smirk as his eyes rack you up and down. Mission accomplished.
“Where’s the snacks?” Zach questions, sitting up straight in his seat. He had changed, now only wearing the dark blue swim shorts.
“I’m the snack,” you answer with a sly smile.
“Did you really just say that?” Zach chuckles and rises from the chair.
“It sounded better in my head,” you shrug a shoulder and watch him as he takes a few steps towards you.
“Well, to be fair,” Zach pauses and licks his lips, his eyes fall down from your eyes and you’re smirking again, “you are my favourite snack,” he says.
“Did that sound better in your head too?” You tease.
Zach chuckles again and reaches around to place his hand on the small of your back. He pushes you just slightly to be pressed up against him. You smile and put an arm over his broad shoulder. Leaning upwards just a bit, you press your lips to his and savour the kiss before it turns hot and heavy.
You didn’t lie to Gemma, you also didn’t tell her the whole truth. Ever since just a few weeks after meeting Zach, after a bar night you were invited to along with some Jackets and their wags, you and Zach were more than just friends. After a bit of thought you decided to add the ‘with benefits’ to it. It was never awkward, instead things were just naturally playful and good between you two. Having a great friendship and getting some out of it too was really more than you could ask for.
“Let’s swim,” you say as the kissing comes to an end, of course ending with a playful push and you turning to walk to the edge of the pool.
You’re sort of in a daze as you’re looking down at the water. You were seriously going to miss the summertime. But those thoughts were gone as you’re suddenly pushed into the pool and are pushing up to surface again, anger erupts as you glare at Zach who’s laughing at the side of the pool.
“You dick,” you shouted.
Zach jumps in, over you, and once he surfaces you swim over and push on his shoulders. He’s under again but then his arms wrap around your waist and your being pulled under too. It all ends up with you two both gasping for air and laughing between breathes.
“All I wanted was a nice relaxing swim,” you stated, glaring at Zach again - who of course is smirking back at you.
“Should’ve have invited me than,”
“Noted,” you say and swim around him.
Thing is you’d probably invite him every tim you were going to swim, or do anything for that matter. Because he was one of your good friends and you seriously enjoyed hanging out with him. The kissing and such was only a bonus to the great friendship you two had made over the summer. But you would be an idiot to think you could go like this and not have any feelings blossom, you were just smart enough keep quiet and play it off. What he didn’t know wouldn’t kill him, or the fun you were having.

day 248: new port richey
Knowing that we’re going to be stationary for a few weeks is probably the best part about being back in New Port Richey. I actually find myself making friends, moreso than usual, since we’re going to be here for a hot minute and it’s not like I’m building these strong connections and then I’m like, “Welp, we leave tomorrow so bye”. I get to make plans and hang out with people. In fact, some of my best friends from Sarasota are driving up here on Monday! Mom suggested we break in the new villa with a dinner party and a game of Cards Against Humanity before my friends and I venture off to a meeting that evening. I’m so excited, because my best friend in the entire world is one of the ones coming and I haven’t seen her since the day I left for Maryland. It’s coming up on about seven months since that day, and this is definitely the longest I’ve gone without seeing her.
The one bad thing about New Port Richey (that I can think of off the top of my head) is that my parents don’t live in their villa full-time so there’s really no need for the “extras”. And by that, I am specifically talking about having wi-fi. Yup, no wi-fi. Now it might be apparent as to why I haven’t blogged in a few days. Sure, I have the Tumblr app on my phone, but it’s so much easier to write long posts that are worth reading on my laptop. My fingers don’t work that fast for these purposes on my phone. I actually had Mom drop me off at Starbucks earlier this morning so I could do things like publish the latest video to our YouTube page (there will be a link here shortly, as soon as it’s done uploading) and write this post. Good news is that this Starbucks location is within walking distance so really I can come up here whenever I please. Surprisingly enough, there’s also a very attractive barista at this location. It’s surprising because NPR is notorious for its retirement homes, 55+ communities, etc. Oh wait... I think that’s all of Florida except for Orlando. Oops?
I still feel at home every time I walk into a Starbucks, even though it’s been almost a year since I worked at one. I miss my family at the Midtown location down in Sarasota - they’ll always hold a special place in my heart. Wow, I just realized the length of time that has gone by. This time last year I was struggling so hard to stop using drugs and I had just gotten into a car accident that ended with me totaling my car and my parents flew me out to South Carolina where we were spending an early Thanksgiving (much like we did last weekend) and I had to pretend like everything was okay. Somehow I managed to not look like a strung-out junkie when I visited them and, even though my world was absolutely falling apart, I successfully kept the details of my broken life to myself since my sister-in-law was pregnant and my parents were all about knowing the details (especially mom, of course).
It may not seem like it 99% of the time, but I do give my parents a shitload of credit. Hell, I would’ve given up on me a long time ago. But for some odd fucking reason, they haven’t and thank god for that. I’ll never forget calling my mom from detox and just being so angry - with her, with god, with my friends, with my dad, with myself. And out of all of those, being angry with myself was the most prevalent and rightfully so, since I got myself into that rut. But I was freshly detoxing for the first time in a month or so, so everything was extremely real and sensitive and I just felt like my world was caving in - which it was.
Another thought that just came to mind was why I was so emotional that time, and not this last time I relapsed when I was visiting Sarasota while they were in Italy. When mom asked me at dinner the day we got back if I had used while down here, I just promptly and nonchalantly said “yes” like it was no big deal. But I think why that panned out the way it did is because I had already gotten over the initial hump of not using anymore and I had talked to my sponsor religiously since I got clean again. So I was okay with me being where I was at again. Yesterday I celebrated six months clean, and typically in the past I would’ve expected my parents to keep up with my clean date and I would come back from a meeting flaunting my chip or key tag or whatever but not this time. They’ve seen it too many times before, and honestly so have I. Its lost its luster and I’m kind of over it. I just want to stay clean, whatever it takes to do so. Sometimes I feel bad for going to meetings every night and not really getting the family time that this year was supposed to be giving all of us, but it’s necessary for me.
So now I’m here writing this post while the video uploads to YouTube and I’ve started working on Christmas gift ideas and the like. Basically I’m doing everything on my computer that I can’t do at home due to lack of wi-fi. I think this will be the first blog post that won’t be hash tagged with anything having to do with boats or sailing, since we are not in fact on the boat currently, which then means that we are not sailing. Ciao, for now.

RFA ; cutesy dates with Mc
yayayaya first post ☆=(ゝω・)/ going on pretty dates with pretty fictional people <3 these are pretty long coz i obviously have no idea what im doing :>
Yoosung
You were cleaning up in your apartment when you get a text from Yoosung.
Your phone ringtone scared the shit out of you
You thought someone was out to get you
You check the text, he was inviting you out to dinner since he aced his exam you helped him study for.
You get all excited, reply in an instant and get ready.
Another text came from him
Wear something fancy, we’ll eat somewhere expensive (:”
wow ok
You search your closet for that really pretty cream cocktail dress you bought the other day, and start getting ready.
A knock on the door, right after you finish. It was your sweet boyfriend, wearing a black suit, which looked 100 on him.
You open the door and his eyes grow wide, his jaw drops. He had fallen in love with the most beautiful girl. He thought to himself Jesus, I am the luckiest man alive today. You smiled shyly, and he took you by the hand.
He opens the door for you, seeing you guys have arrived at this really fancy place. And you both order the same thing. You look around the area, but felt his eyes plant on you. You were basically melting from his stare. His eyes were sparkling. You look at him, and he looks away immediately, face flushing red.
He smiles at you. “I love you.” You tell him
His eyes grow big at your sudden statement. He looks down, quite embarrassed.
GOSH YOOSUNG YOURE A KITTEn
HOW
BLESSDT
Yoosung pays for the bill and you guys leave.
He parks the car and walks you to your door. You unlock the lock on the door and open the entrance to your apartment. You invite him to stay the night, but he says no. You make a grumpy face, and he makes that you’re so fucking cute smile. He promises he’ll drop by tomorrow as he kisses you, the kind of kiss that makes your heart tingle.
JAEHEE
she finally found time to spend with you, after week of leaving early and coming home late, you barely saw her anymore. You invite her out to watch a movie you’ve been wanting to see, but when you two get there, it’s sold out.
You try to hide how much that made you sad.
But baby is a psychic.
Jaehee stops you, cups your cheeks and tells you “Hey, its okay. Why don’t we just get some cake at that cafe you love so much”, looking straight into your eyes, your heart melts.
She intertwines her hands with yours as you walk down the street to a small cafe around the corner
She looks perfect
She is perfect.
You couldn’t stop staring at her.
It was nice to see her in something else other than a suit
Like seeing her in her underwear
oops
i am a demon
She holds the door for you as you guys enter. Standing in front of the menu, she asks you what you want. But before you could answer, she stops you. “I know what you want”. woah ok ok
You look for a table, and seats.
She approaches the table with a tray. On the tray was a plate of your favorite cake, (*insert favorite cake), and an iced coffee.
You fed her spoons of your cake while you sneakily took sips from her coffee.
You had a gr8 day
You were happy. You saw that smile again.
You held her hand as you two made your way back home.
ZEN
You really missed spending time with Zen. He always came home either really late or really tired. You decide to surprise him.
sooooo
You wait outside the studio for about 30 minutes.
GOD IT WAS SO HOT OUTSIDE
LIKE JESUS WHy
You were melting waiting for him.
And finally, all his co-workers were out. But Zen was nowhere to be found.
You really wanted some ice cream.
After about 200 years
20 mins
He finally walks out the doors.
His hair was ties up in a bun.
Sexy bun sexy zen
You smile and wave at him. His eyes grow big after seeing you.
o.o
was i not supposed to be here? you thought to yourself.
“MC? What are you doing here?” He asked.
prolly not
“I wanted to surprise you!” You say, rather exhausted from the standing  in the heat part of your day.
“Why didn’t you go inside? You could’ve gotten a heatstroke at this temperature.” He says, worried.
You shake your head, telling him you’re fine.
He read your mind.
“Ice cream?” He smiled, asking you.
TWAS LIKE HEAVEN CALLED ME OUT
FINALLy
THANK
You smile at him. And he already knows that smile
You intertwine your fingers with his as you walk to your favorite ice cream parlor.
You had (insert your fav ice cream flavor*). Zen stared at you.
angel he said to himself.
your ice cream was melting send hELP
JUMIN
You arrange this super cute date to the aquarium but Jumin suddenly had an urgent meeting he needed to go to.
Trust me he felt super bad that he had to cancel.
He wanted to make it up to you. He wanted to make time for you. He waited until you had absolutely nothing planned.
“MC?”
“Yeah?”
“I need you to come with me.”
“Where?”
“Meeting up with a friend.”
“Okay. Specific attire?”
“No.”
“Aight.”
You put on your favorite clothes, paired with your favorite shoes.
Jumin looked like he was in a hurry.
Probably was.
Driver Kim drops us off at a big dome.
Looks abandoned
Shit.
Hope its not haunted.
You held his hand tight as you walk inside.
It was a really pretty old observatory. The ceiling was a galaxy painted with glow in the dark paint. It was beautiful.
Jumin was beautiful
In the middle of the dome, was a table for two.
You look back at him, he had that cheeky smile.
“Jumin?” You call out his attention.
“Yes, kitten?”
“Did you plan this all by yourself?”
“Of course. Why?”
“Just curious.”
Both of you were just standing, his arms wrapped around you, your head buried in his chest. There wasn’t any music. Just you, humming to your favorite slow-dance song.
Jumin was looking down at you.
It was perfect.
He proposes
just kidding
You two had dinner, then watched the stars for the rest of the night.
SEVEN
It was movie night at your place with the rest of the RFA, but Seven asked them all to bail tonight so it would be just the two of you.
They all bailed.
You had everything ready.
Popcorn
Chips
Dip
Soda
And wine and cheese for Jumin.
It was getting late and no one was arriving.
You felt your heart hanging on a thread.
Until the doorbell rang.
It was Seven.
“Hey!” You open the door, inviting him inside.
“Hiya” He says, giving you an unexpected peck on the cheek, making you turn a little pink.
“Are the others coming?” You ask
“I think they’re all busy.” He says, shrugging his shoulders.
You didn’t really want to watch a movie without them
Which you admitted to Seven.
“What do you want to do then?” He asks.
“I don’t know.” You say with a grumpy face.
“Aww. Its okay” He lightly kisses you.
Then
His face fills with
A smirk of lust
A grin of idea
“Do you wanna.. Build a snowman? maybe head to the diner?”
You smile, and agree.
You two hopped into his car and he drove to this diner near the pier.
You two bought milkshakes and french fries.
“MC. I’ve fallen inlove with the most amazing person in the world.” Seven says, proceeding to drink his milkshake.
“Who may that be?” You ask.
“You.” He says.
You were already expecting that. Yet you still fell for it, making your face heat up.
It was a great night. Milkshakes. Fries. Boyfriend. All you ever need in long nights.
He eventually got really tired and crashed at your place, sleeping on your bed, arms around you, your head on his chest and well
yaayy how was it :> pls give feedback i am a noob :3
also send in requests :3 luh u

A walk to remember
For my friend @the-great-and-powerful-animegan, I’m posting it here so I don’t end up spamming others on ao3 oops
“Did you know that there are stories about this ghost in the forest?”
The boy didn’t really believe in ghost stories. Especially when it happened to take place in a forest where nothing happened in his hometown. He knew that somebody probably just made it up to have something to talk about, but he didn’t want to seem like the kid who just ignored something to talk about. Especially not on this field trip to the ranger station.
“Don’t give me that look, Marcus!” His friend, Rachel, scoffed at him and smirked. “I bet you wanna know about the story right?” At his response (which was just a raised eyebrow) she continued on.
“Right, right, okay, so listen. The ghost that stalks these woods wasn’t just a regular, old dude. Apparently the ghost used to be a girl. She even grew up in the town next to ours, so this has to be a true story. But get this, she used to be a troll, not a human!” Okay, now admittedly, this got his attention. Trolls were a hot topic now a days, especially since the troll rescue group that had started a huge awareness of the cruelty of the troll species had recently had its last founding member die.
Marcus shifted his weight and scooted closer to his friend. They were in the forest station’s lobby for a school sleepover and while normally this was an annual borefest,  the story might have made things less dull than normal, even for a second, and Marcus was not about to let that out of his grasp.
“The troll ghost had been a happy child and lived a mostly happy life until she lost somebody like super important to her and she swore revenge on whoever had taken her beloved. She tracked them down into these very woods and is always on the move, searching for that poor sap who took her happiness.” Rachel looked over at the windows surrounding them. “Some say that she even wonders to the forest station, the one we’re in right now, to check out the humans and make sure they aren’t the ones hiding her love. She vows that when she finds whoever took her love she’ll make them suffer like they made her.”
A dramatic pause ensued.
Marcus scoffed and laid back on his sleeping bag. “You got some nerve, y’know? I thought you were gonna tell a real ghost story.”
“This is real!”
“That’s about as real and scary as Bigfoot in my grandmother’s dress.”
“Okay, but you gotta admit that that’s a scary sight too.” Rachel smirked and dodged the pillow that was thrown at her direction.
The teacher came in at that point and cleared everyone away to their own rooms based on gender. There were some complaints, but nothing too dramatic (or entertaining) for Marcus’s tastes. Eventually, everybody went off to bed and the lights were shut out. There were a few discussions going on, but otherwise it was silent. And even after a few hours, nobody except for Marcus was awake. He doubted that even the rangers were asleep at this point, so he got out of his sleeping bag on the floor and went over to the window.
It was pretty cool to look at, he had to admit. All the trees and colors that were offered to see, even in the moonlight’s pale glow. The hills upon hills of trees and rocks, the cliffs that offered a one way ticket to pain, the endless sky with countless stars. All of it just seemed so beautiful that it made everything seem kinda insignificant. Well, everything except for one. Did that troll girl really have to go through this entire forest looking for whoever hurt her? He’d been here a few times before and he had to admit, it was a huge place. Even if she looked everyday it would take years before she’d be able to even have a chance of stumbling upon them.
A movement in the bushes across the way caught his eye. Hoping to see an animal, maybe a wolf even, he focused on that. After a minute of watching, he huffed and tried not to be too disappointed that he didn’t get to see anything.
That was, until a few of the girls from his class walked out of the building and towards the forest.
Eyes widening (what were they thinking?!), he turned on his heel and raced down the stairs that led to the door outside. He didn’t even pause to grab his shoes. He wouldn’t really need them if he was able to stop them before they got deeper into the forest.
He called out to them when he got outside, telling them to stop and come back, but they either didn’t hear them or didn’t care. He growled, debated on grabbing his shoes or not at this point, then gave up and pursued them. These girls were crazy, didn’t they realize what could happen to them?
Before he was even able to stop them, he lost track of them. The logical thing to do would be go back to the station and get a ranger to track them down. But he didn’t want to do that. Not yet at least. If he couldn’t find them in ten minutes, then he totally would, but until then, he was gonna find them even if it killed him.
Thirty minutes later, he knew he was lost. He couldn’t even see the station anymore, let alone the girls or anything that would’ve helped point him in the right direction. Marcus was torn between simply giving up and making camp where he was (which would’ve just consisted of sitting on a log or something and waiting until morning)  or keep going. He didn’t really want to end up as an animal’s meal, but he didn’t want to waste his energy when he didn’t have to. He hadn’t gotten much sleep the night before and he was already exhausted.
Something off in the distance moved and he froze, heart already starting to climb in panic.
“H...Hello?” Maybe it was a ranger who came looking for him? He’d like to hope this at least. “Is somebody there?”
Nobody answered, which made his skin crawl. Okay, nope, it was really time to go for him. He got up and was about to bolt when he saw the piercing yellow eyes stare him down. He always thought it was cliche for somebody to be paralyzed with fear when they saw yellow eyes, but now that he was in that spot? Oh, holy shit, you better believe that he was truly paralyzed.
The eyes disappeared and something rose from the bush. He didn’t even think about staying for a second, as soon as the eyes were out of his sight he didn’t stay long to find out what was the owner of those magnificent orbs.
He jumped over a log, ducked under a branch, breath almost out of control. He wasn’t like the other kids where they would look back at the monster, no, he kept going. He was almost glad that he did so many of those parkour tricks back at home because really, wow, it did come in handy at this point.
But no parkour was going to help him when the rock he landed on gave out and sent him tumbling down a hill. He tumbled over branches, rocks, plants, and what he thought was to be either a cactus or a porcupine. When he finally stopped rolling around, he groaned and tried to move even a little. But wow, okay, that was not going to happen any time soon. It wasn’t long before he felt another presence near him and his heart rate began to climb again. But what was he going to do? Marcus was in a lot of pain and wouldn’t even have a hope of defending himself. He was just a waiting meal for whatever animal had the luck of finding him.
When he opened his eyes, however, it wasn’t a hungry wolf or a murderer who was going to kill him, however. No, it was the complete opposite.
It was that troll ghost thing. It had to be. The way that she could navigate the forest without being heard or seen, the way that she was able to not only keep up with him but came out of that chase unscathed. That and her eyes held the piercing glare could also be seen with hidden pain deep within. He knew it. She was hurting deeply inside, but he wouldn’t say anything. He couldn’t even if he wanted to, his voice was lodged somewhere in his throat.
She was magnificent. She didn’t wear any shoes, something that he envied greatly over. His feet were soft and squishy, now cut up and bruised. Hers had to have been toughened up enough so she wouldn’t have to worry about shoes. She wore shorts that were obviously made to last outside for an extended period of time. Around her hips was a deer skin that hung to her hips like somebody who tied their jacket around their hips would have it. She only wore a tank top outside of that but it was obvious that she didn’t need to wear clothes for warmth. She probably knew how to keep herself warm, she obviously knew how to take care of herself based on her muscles and scars covering her body.
Neither of them moved for a few seconds as Marcus gazed up at her in amazement. He was only startled when she moved down to bring him to his feet. She was shorter than he would’ve expected, easy enough for him to drape his arm over her shoulders for support.
“Yo-you’re the ghost girl,” he whispered. “The one from the stories.”
She didn’t respond, just started walking in a direction (probably to the ranger station).
“Can...Can I ask you a few questions?”
She didn’t respond so he took this as an okay to go on. “How do you know where to go in this forest? Have you lived here your entire life or did you really live in the town? Who are you after exactly? You know, revenge won’t do anything.” He was rambling from the nerves, he knew, but she didn’t really comment. “Whoever you lost wouldn’t want it.” Until he said that.
She flinched and looked at him with scalding eyes. They were furious and almost looked...betrayed?
“Don’t.” Her lips pursed together as she started on again.
Though he didn’t really know her or her situation, if she was even in the right or wrong, she looked hurt enough where he automatically replied. “Sorry.” He replied and didn’t really say anything the rest of the way back to the ranger station.

the animal house
Hola all.
I'm very sorry about the black out I havent been in a blogging mood recently for some reason. but today, with half an hour till our bus to Macedonia I thought I can't continue this and be a whole country behind, that, would have been a large mountain to climb. I am also sorry I have just remembered I forgot to post my Kosovo blog, I Was too bust having fun and that. Worry not I am back and unsure of whether I will post one or two blogs and if I do 2 how will I split them up. Life's unanswered questions.
So our start in Albania was eventful, shockingly because of the buses. You may have noticed the running theme here guys, the buses are crap meaning I got my wish for more adventure but it has meant they've been more expensive and tiring than wed hoped to be honest. But yes, we were at the terminal having speed walked cause we were late in time for the bus. We asked where it left from and were pointed to a corner outside the station... OK, so an international bus is leaving from that corner? Sure. We got there and another man was waiting for the same bus, this helped our nerves. Then he came to speak to us to tell us the bus wasn't coming into the city but was leaving from a restaurant out of town and we had to share a taxi there, cheers for that. Oo i be just realised I wrote about this in the last piece. Oops sorry. Ok moving on.
So Tirana is the Albanian capital city. Not the most exciting place in the world but it had a good feel to it with some pretty buildings, a big Pyongyang esque square and a rich history of empires and communism. One thing that must be noted about Tirana is its abundance of bus stations... It has 3 or 4 just to add to the confusion, amazing, wicked, falaminderit. But yes. Our first stop in Tirana, get George a tattoo yay. I've wanted one for ages and having finally found a design and place for it, it was just a matter of getting the tat. 50 dollars? Fine. And now a few weeks later its not infected, its peeled and looks sick. Everyone meet wei ling my new panda. The next day we were up for an early free walking tour, which was banging followed by a trip to the biggest of Hoxha's communist rule. Side note: he was so paranoid of soviet and us nuclear attacks over a few years he made (I think) 188,000 bunkers, put of an intended 370,000 (I think) to prepare for war with both the us and the soviets. The irony is that the president didn't even know Albania existed, lol. The one we visited tho was huge and never used. At times it was 5 stories underground and even had a huge meeting room/theatre. I stress, it, and none of the others, were used. Wow. On The day we planned to leave for berat we planned a day trip to kruja, the stronghold and home of our great Albanian hero skanderbeu the liberator and saviour of the Albanian people. This was cute. It was a town in the mountains with a pretty old town with cobbled streets and stores and a big omnipotent looking castle. We had a nice lunch up there and wandered the walls before heading back for our bus. This is when the next bus saga began.
This one ranks high in our list of bus grievances second the one in Kosovo and one ahead of the one we're in as I write... So we got back and walked to our hostel, 30 mins. We got our stuff and walked to the station with our bags in the rain. Remember there are three bus stations. We walked to the one we thought was it. Oh no its the one just along this road on the left by the big statue. Ok we can do that. This was maybe another km. We are tired and demotivated. As we get to the station we see a bus to beret leaving around the roundabout. We dont panic, there'll be another we're not in a rush. We ask a guy who works there... That was the last bus, great. So we have to get a bus towards fier and get off at a roundabout to get a taxi. As the sun was setting. Then when we got to beret the street name had changed so the one we gave people was the new one and everyone only knew the old ones so we couldn't find the apartment. This was until a nice man made it his mission to get us there so he called the number five times rill he picked and and the host picked us up. This was a very long day.
Beret however, was a pretty old ottoman city. Another UNESCO site (again) god were getting bored of these now just get me a beach and a city. He he he. Speaking of which we've seen two  more since lol. OK yeah so there's lots of white ottoman houses up the hills with big windows, very photogenic and pretty. There was also a big castle on the hill over the town. This was big, not just a castle but now there are restaurants and hostels up there too along with a mosque and church. Much more than we anticipated. Good exercise, good views and some good history, good cricket. (That was for you dad). Berat was nice but we were done with towns so it was on to the coast and one of our favorite little spits on the trip, vuno....
So I've now decided how to split this piece. I was going to put this in the second one and Split them between cities and beaches but having had such an action packed day yesterday I think I may ramble a bit too much so putting vuno in this piece may be preferable for both my brain and your sanity. I hope y'all agree with me, much love. So vuno. This was a funny stop, wed heard about it from a girl in Montenegro who recommended it to us a a hostel that was converted from a school in a tiny old town near the sea. Cool, the clincher tho was when she said there were animals just wandering around all the time. Score, result, as two big animal lovers vuno was placed on our itinerary immediately. So getting there wasn't easy, shock another bus situation. This one was long and hot. Firstly there was the intracity bus, simple. Then the minibus thru the mountains which was long, over two hours. The driver was also the most sane driver we've ever seen, he drove so carefully and slowly it was refreshing although it did mean the journey was super long. Bring back my crazy drivers please. So we were in vlore. Fine, one more bus and we're there. Only issue, there was no bus station. WHAT?! Omg. Yep we were dropped on the street and told to go to a street corner. We went there and spoke to three taxi drivers who told us we needed a three euro taxi, shock. Not having that thanks. So we spoke to a bus driver who told us to go stand by the road 50m away and hail down a bus that passes. Lord Almighty. Ok. Oh yeah by the way it was like 30 plus degrees. We waited then I asked another woman in a bus company shop and she says there is one leaving from outside her shop in 20 minutes... Convenient... We also only have half the money she asked for and she accepts it. We were very suspicious. Waiting in the road again but this time with a ticket the stakes were high.... We jumped at every bus that came until finally we got it. Easy. We got on and calmed down knowing the worst was done. How wrong we were. This journey, supposed to take an hour by car, took three hours and was unbearably hot. Urgh. It was a big one. But we made it to vuno and when walked to the hostel went a windy way to find a shop. There was no shop. We ended up walking down a narrow downhill path, thru rubble and rocks and eventually thru a construction site as some workers had to let us thru their underground piping operation. Safe to say we felt we deserved a beach day the next day. So the skholla hostel was nice, well done up and had all the amenities apart from, when we first arrived although it got fixed, running water... We were camping so it was also very cheap. The next day we went to a buff beach near by. It was an hour and a half walk to get there thru olive groves, over little farmers walls and down a cliff. It was very nice and provided some exercise before an inevitable day of beach lounging, eating food and swimming. Tick tick tick. A lush day on a lush beach with barely any people because it was getting to late in august. The only problem... The walk home... Up hill... We also manager to get lost... It was very hot and sweaty and we missed our trail sign, grrrrrr. Luckily we had the maps app and we ran into some shepherds who pointed us right. This also led us thru a scenic... Bee farm... The randomness of this trip never fails to disappoint hahahaha. A good day nonetheless. The other day and a half we spent at another beach near by that we could hitchhike to. Again very nice but more busy because its easily accessible and closer to the big town himare. As eluded to earlier the true attraction of the hostel was the wandering animals. Firstly the house cat was an aggressive scavenger, literally eating off your plate and would even come back after he'd been thrown away. Next came the "stray dogs" its hard to say if there stray tho or just have very lax owners. They were all starved of love and affection tho. Lucky they came to the right place, two affection craving humans here, form an orderly line please while we pet all of you in turn. Ok next. We showered them with love and they loved it. I miss Rowland 😞. Next came the heard of goats that fame straight thru the hostel every day. I say thru the hostel the hostel in built on one aide of the road and campsite is on the other. This is the main road to vuno town.. It was wide enough for one Car... But somehow seemed to have constant traffic running thru it, bazar really. The goat heard tho was hilarious, many if them equipped with bells so their imminent arrival was anticipated they would all trot thru, maybe 100 of them, grazing around our tent climbing down walls and generally just chilling, they were jokes and their procession was generally a highlight of our day. Lastly was the wandering mules. Lol. Mules. Run you mule. There were three but apparently there were up to 15 that just wandered freely all day erday. They arrived as we were all eating dinner, how convenient... And as I was trying to chow down on my pasta I had two mule heads, one on each shoulder, also trying to get a bite. They were very persistent, they're big and strong so it was a tricky one to stop them from getting at my food. We pushed them. They didn't budge. We clapped. They flinched. Them eventually our Peruvian friend got them away and then it was just the cat to contend with. An eventful dinner time at the animal house but all very funny and enjoyable.I'll leave y'all here and write the next chapter of our tale in half an hour or so, my head needs a wee rest, as does my stomach. This bus is like a furnace and is weaving round mountains, bleurgh.Falaminderit, ciao. G.
