nope! I was gonna be named gráinne after my great gran but then my parents saw 'sorcha' and liked that

2. When was the last time you cried?

I've been crying all week because of allergies, maybe? but like proper crying maybe 2 weeks ago? I have no concept of time but yeah Uni is super stressful so i've had a few stress cries recently

3. Do you have kids?

nope, and tbh the chance of me getting pregnant are super low so that'll probably stay a no

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

yes, so many. Hurling/Camogie (you should check this out its so cool, its a 3000 year old sport and played at an insane speed, the top level is still amateur), one singular day of Gaelic football (i was beyond bad, turns out i needed glasses lmao), swimming, rounders, and finally the loml Archery. I needed to keep busy as a child 😅😅

5. Do you use sarcasm?

6. What is the first thing you notice about people?

their facial expression, trying to see how they're feeling, where is their attention at (lowkey this is a trauma thing)

greyish blue, with the hazel central heterochromia

Happy endings by a mile, I'll cry but they'll be happy tears

I'm good with my hands? does that count, I can pick up a like hands on craft thing really quickly. No party tricks though

Embroidery! I love it and am very annoyed that I don't have the time for it right now with all that's going on with uni :( I have a lance triptych that i need to finish and hopefully i'll get that started after august.

I've also gotten back into reading, fiction that is, I have spent an inordinate amount of time reading scholarly stuff, so if anyone has recommendations please share, Lance nation bookclub let's go

YES! my sweet baby boy Bobby. I say baby he turned 13 in February so he's getting up there, he's a beagle and a cuddle monster. I love him to bits, he follows me everywhere, sits on my feet to be as close as possible and perfected the puppy dog eyes a long time ago (insert pictures here when i get to my phone)

easily History, I went on a did it college and am currently doing a masters in museum studies so you will not be getting me away from the old stuff. We had an amazing history teacher in secondary school, @f1-disaster-bi can attest to that and she was super encouraging and really nurtured the love of history I had so yeah, making it my job

15. Dream job?

yeah so like i said above i'm doing museum studies at the minute so the dream is the work in a museum. I'd love to work in the education side of museums, sort of a pay it forward vibe with the love of history, outreach programmes and museum events that kind of thing.

Okay a yap Abt Evelyn!!

The Evelyn on the right is from my fic can't we play pretend? Currently she is a baby but this is what she would look like when she's older.

This Evelyn is adopted. For a long time she wasn't sure what to do with her life. She wanted to follow the path of science like her parents but she wasn't interested in engineering or alchemy. People however are quite odd and interesting. So she studies anthropology (study of human societies and cultures. How humans develop and behave). In her free time she enjoys reading, math and designing. (Just a random fact Abt her she has a raccoon teddy). For most of her childhood Evelyn was non verbal. Even now that she is older she still doesn't like talking much and mostly only talks to those she's very close with. She is considered conventionally attractive but hates attention and crowds. She has long dark brown wavy hair and hazel eyes. Her favorite food is pumpkin (literally anything pumpkin she'll eat) and she is a picky eater. Besides from her parents the people she's closest with are Rapunzel, Lance, Quirin, Donella, Ulla, Adira Catalina and Nuru (she's also kids with some of Raps and Eugenes kids but I'll talk abt them in a separate post.) ofc she's still close with Varian and Hugos other friends but these are her favorites. Her last name is Ruddiger because Varian actually adopted her and custody was shared with Hugo once they got married. She enjoys winter because she gets to wear warmer fuzzier clothes. She gets scared easily by loud noises and hates the beach (she doesn't like the feeling of sand or the salty water.) Evelyn isn't very good at communicating her wants or needs usually just shrugging or muttering "I dunno" if she is asked a question. Her first word was mama. If I'm being honest this Evelyn is likely autistic. She is also aroace! (Yay aroace representation) Evelyn's goal is to uncover the secrets of the world.

Her personality is like Komi (Komi can't communicate), Yor forger, Alador blight, Aled/Issac (heart stopper), Coralline Jones, Hollyhock (Bojack Horsman) and Viktor (arcane)

The Evelyn on the left is my version of Varigos kid in the "cannon" universe. She is their biological child (pls don't ask)

Appearance wise Evelyn is fairly short and chubby with a round face and nose with lots of freckles (like her dad). She has blue and green heterochromia but she usually covers her green eye with her hair. She has medium length thick curly red hair with a stripe of green that she dyes. Like her mother she has several piercings an undercut and glasses (except she only needs hers for reading). This Evelyn is the royal herbologist (a person who studies plants and fungi to use for healing) similarly to her parents she has always been very passionate Abt it. Rapunzel makes most of her clothing for her but Hugo does help occasionally. Growing up Hugo and Varian tried sending her to a normal school but most of the subjects were too easy for her and she was considered a problematic student due to arguments with teachers and fights with students so eventually she had to be home schooled. She spends most of her time in forests or in her lab. Just like her parents when she's 18 she decides to go on a journey for a few months. Evelyn knows how to charm ppl she can be Very charming when she wants to but prefers to rely on acts of service and her brains. She is a head strong person but can sometimes come off as irritable or bossy. When she has a goal she focuses on it but she is still able to take time to enjoy the little things. Her favourite people (besides her parents) are Keira, Catalina, Eugene, Rapunzel (and some of their kids), Yong, Nuru, Quirin, adira, hector and Cassandra. She likes reptiles. Her favourite food is a tie between apples and cookies. She is very close with Olivia. She loves autumn. She was born after Varian and Hugo got married therefore has Hugo's last name. She's very protective of other people. Evelyn's goal is to help people while doing what she loves. (I'll prob make more coloured drawings of her in other outfits BC I have some ideas)

Her personality is like twilight sparkle, starlight glimmer, Connie (Steven universe), becky blackbell, Vi or maybe Caitlyn (arcane), princess Carolyn, Marcy wu and Amity blight. (I haven't watched MLP in years so this is off memory)

These two Evelyn's do not exist in the same universe. Let's just say it's not possible. But if somehow they did I think they would completely ignore each other. They would probably get along fine but neither of them would really be interested in the other. It's more likely they would pity each other then become besties or something.

Despicable Minions (DM AU): minion OCs (part 1)

Although I've already mentioned I created the whole tribe that consists only of female minions, I believe I've never mentioned I also have some male minion OCs.

These two sweeties are named Marvin and Lucius and today, I'd like to introduce them to you (I only have this unfinished artwork with them, it needs shading to be done, but I think it's enough, so you can see what they look like).

Marvin “Vinnie” (the one-eyed)

He's one of Stuart & Mel's brothers (and an uncle of Stuart's son who I call Chico in my AU).

He's an optimistic, friendly, creative soul that enjoys doodling, coloring anti-stress coloring books, etc.

He's a designer & architect responsible for a current design of the girls’ bedroom, Gru's house & lair, etc. 

He almost always wears a beanie + a hoodie over his coveralls (he even owns a lot of beanies and hoodies with various colors) - his hair under it is the same as Stuart's.

He has never worn classic minions’ gloves - instead, you can see an artist glove on his right hand and digital watches on his left wrist. 

He has a sectoral heterochromia (green area in an overall brown iris).

Lucius “Luca” (the tall one)

He's one of Kevin & Scott's brothers.

He's pretty shy, hard-working and very unlucky (he's a victim of most of his brothers’ pranks).

He loves romantic movies, although he always starts crying when watching one.

He's a member of the cleaning crew, alongside Lance, Tom, DM2 Phil, etc. His major job is to keep Gru's lab clean and in order (even if it’s only for half an hour). 

He's a big fan of the Mega Minions (especially his brother Tim).

His gloves are longer, coveralls are adjusted to have bigger (and more) pockets, and even the trousers legs are different for practical purposes (and because he finds them more comfortable this way). 

One strand of his hair naturally curls and does it even more when he's nervous.

About both of them:

They're both bi. 

Luca has a crush on his friend but hasn't confessed yet - Vinnie knows but keeps it to himself, allowing his buddy to have enough time to say it out loud.

Both of them stayed at Gru's house during the events of DM3 - Marvin was in his studio, listening to music, not knowing what his big brother was planning and while Luca knew what was going on, he decided to stay with his friend.

I'm Ex-Champion Juniper Frost, a Sinnohan with a Master's degree in pokébiology and a minor in Regional Mythos. I'm returning to the Eterna City University of Pokémon Studies to get my doctorate in Pokébiology.

And yes, I am a Froslass hybrid. I don't have heterochromia, the purple eye is glass because my mom tried to kill me. She only succeeded in fucking up my hearing, my eyeball to the point of removal and giving me a myriad of burn scars.

And yes, my mother is/was Commander Venus of Team Galactic.

Found out I'm Giratina's Chosen the hard way (it's a long story).

I switch between my home in Sunyshore City, Sinnoh, the apartment I've given my friend in Nimbasa City, Unova and my summer house that I rent out in Lumiose City, Kalos. My current residence is in Eterna City, Sinnoh.

Lex's the Gyarados and despite how she may look, menacing face and scars aside, she's much quieter than you'd think.

Lumipallo's the Abomasnow and he's by far the better in my team when it comes to his actions.

Trixie's the Gengar, she has a fair few issues of her own considering she was once a human but she's taking time to get over them.

Lance's the incredibly eloquent Gallade, a strong fighter with and equally strong vocabulary.

Fright's the Umbreon, who struggles to communicate as well as the others but I still love him all the same.

Sparks' the sweet-as-pie Scizor, he's all about caring for others despite his species' typical demeanour.

My two shinies, Lillian and Toffee, were acquired in a quite odd way. Lillian attempted to jump me just outside of the cottage I rented out and Toffee was an apology gift from a boy who used a pokéball on me.

Not pictured is my support Aurorus, Nordlys, and her support Skiploom, Brick. I have Nordlys due to a lot of issues caused by trauma, she has Brick because she's mute and greatly struggles with communication.

Hi there! Do you have any headcanons for your favorite characters?

oh yes! they're not my favorite characters without headcanons and self projection after all :,D

for steven, i've made a few posts dedicated to just steven hcs! can't remember what that tag was (just "headcanons" maybe?) but all you need to know is that my absolute favorite ride or die steven headcanon is that he's half galarian on his mother's side. don't know where the thought came from either, i just thought british steven was cute or something. i've got way more on those dedicated posts (i think like... 55-ish hcs?) so i won't ramble here much longer unless i want this post to become Ungodly long (it probably will)

i briefly mentioned this in my silly wip pile post, but the one thing i will yell into the quite frankly empty void of juan's tag is that GNC JUAN OR BUST! i know people use that term for a bunch of different stuff so i like to use gnc for him in terms of breaking gender roles and not really anything to do with the character himself if that makes sense? like. he's a contest star or something, i think he would like to look pretty no matter how 🥺 put the cute little man in a cute little dress! (bonus points for wallace "YAS BITCH SLAY" moments lol. also not sure where to put this but i think he/they juan would also be kinda cute heehee). if he's from the pokemon version of greece, he's super into cats as well and probably has like 5 skitty he picked up from the side of the road and it's wallace who needs to physically restrain him from the 6th because "you don't need it yoU HAVE ENOUGH CATS" and THEN on that note i'm a chad and believe that juan adopted wallace as his son because this is such a sweet headcanon GUYS GET ON THIS

clair and lance i think come as a package deal because it's either 1) i like to think that at some point before lance became champion HE was the one taking care of clair (for some reason. parents busy? idk) which makes their relationship lean closer to siblings or 2) fuck canon, they are straight up siblings. i have accidentally called them siblings to some friends so at this point i'm going all in on my mistakes and i also..... kinda hate how their relationship is presented in canon so fuck that it's (canon) morbin' time. but a bit for each character individually: you have seen this in most my lance posts, he has heterochromia because it's badass and is also pokemon's gay icon and is kissing my oc. clair would just roll her eyes and go "oh geez really" whenever this happens. she's basically the kid who thinks everything love-related is gross and sappy. also you know how most teenagers need to get approval of their partner from their parents? lance needs to go through his bratty little relative. anyway, lance. he's a mess in super social situations (at the end of hgss he says being around TWO people is too noisy for him or something at the hall of fame?), a hopeless coffee addict, and he's a closet contest fan and has had crushes on like Way too many cute male coordinators (legal adult male coordinators ofc). and for clair herself.... i wanna think she's really good at swimming because hanging out with the dratini and dragonair at the dragon's den is her favorite way to calm down and chill out, and she has also fallen to the same fate of buying identical capes at the goldenrod department store

with falkner, pokemon masters has made me realize the brilliance of narcoleptic falkner because he talks about being tired and falling asleep a few times in his pokemon center dialogue! also on that note, he says he wants to go to galar just to take the corviknight taxis, so maybe he's a fan of travelling around? he'd love going to different regions and observing bird pokemon he's never seen before! he is also pathetically short i wanna punt him into orbit lovingly

Walter was sat at his work table, fiddling with one of his new devices working on to perfect it, no I can't think of anything specific so I'll let you fill in that with your imagination.

The day had been long, his lab assistant Timothy Lawrence (Yea that Timothy if you know him because reasons) had been pretty quiet but done as told so at least that made it easier.

He was tired as the day had gone on his mood had sunk, what was he doing teasing Killian like that, honestly spanking him with the hair brush, he knew some of the things Killian had been up to.

But it was more likely a sign of marking territory or just because he had needs right and it was exciting to do things where you shouldn't.

The blade he was handling slipped and ran across the pad of his index finger, he hissed in pain, seeing the blood smear under the blue latex, pooling to drip, focusing on the red colour he hadn't even noticed Timothy running to fetch the first aid kit.

Pulling his gloves off he discarded them and popped open the box that had been set on the table.

"Thanks Timmy."

Walter smiled a little as he tended to his finger, he hated how the skin felt parting every time he flexed his finger.

Cleaning up and applying what was needed, thankful it wouldn't need stitches.

He wondered what Killian was up to, watching TV, reading maybe, did he eat, did he have enough to drink, was he in a depressive mood, was he mad that hed spanked him, he really should send a message.

Pulling his phone from his lab pocket he texted him.

'Hope you're day has been good, hope you're well, sorry if I upset you this morning.'

He shifted and rubbed a shoulder, he didn't realise how stiff his back had gone, being in charge of a division meant he'd somewhat lost track of self care making sure to do his stretches.

Timothy stood here watching his boss, lot better than the last one, this one was kind and genuine, always looking out for people, honestly Beckett made him feel safe and relaxed, he wasn't looking for anything serious but even he could see that furrowed bow and the lean that spelt hey I'm exhausted let me die.

Walking around and behind him he slowly massaged his shoulders, they were small and rather petite for someone Walter's age but it was more lean muscle and just body build, he just hadn't seen many men like Walter where he'd come from, he was rather pretty.

Walter had considered telling him to stop but when his fingers pressed into that one perfect spot in his shoulder blades he melted, ooooh that just felt so damn good and shit when was the last time he'd had contact, had someone be closer to him...he liked Killian...wondered if they could be more, but he didn't believe for one second that they could be lovers or bed fellows for one moment...not that he wouldn't be interested in finding out but Killian had been there a month, like he wasn't going to make him uncomfortable and feel like that the only way he could stay was if he dated him.

(I keep forgetting times or how many days set shrugs just don't expect like decent continuity, I write these because I need to just write things and moments)

Walter leaned forward arms folded and face buried in them

"Sorry sir, am I doing that badly?"

Timothy's enquired nervously, his hands going still.

"No, please don't stop, I literally didn't realise how stiff I was, you have good hands, I'm just so tired Timothy, I could really use it if you don't mind that is."

"Not at all sir."

Tim smiled happy to know he was helping, yes much nicer than his last boss, Walter was smart but he was also fragile, like him he loved his mother and when he'd heard Walters mother had died when he was small he wanted to scoop him up and just hug him.

A talk with Lance at one point and he'd learned that was a natural reaction for anyone with a heart around Walter who didn't have their head up their ass.

Which had practically been the last tech department Beckett had worked in, that totally wasn't cool that they'd done that to such a brilliant mind, it was so much fun working on items that didn't kill people and actually helped them!

Walter was imagining the fingers loosening the knots in his back were Killian, wondered what that would feel like with those pretty metal claws, but he never forgot it was Timothy, after all Timothy deserved more respect than that.

Looking over his shoulder at him, auburn hair flopping off to one side, Tim's hands on his waist he noticed the subtle blush.

"You wanna go grab some dinner or something in a minute there's a corner café I know, makes steak sandwiches and baked potatoes with a perfect crispy skin, a warm meal sounds pretty nice don't you think?"

Tim in the angle he was in was trying not to think about how suggestive this looked, he would absolutely lean down and kiss Walter if he thought it was an option, it really was a casual thing he felt, but Walter just looked so pretty and like he needed someone to carry him right now.

Continuing to rub his back Timothy nodded

"Yeah that sounds pretty nice actually."

At home Killian had found plenty to do, he'd read, watched tv, all in Walters bed of course, just to feel close to him as he could, he did wonder after handling himself, if Walter could see him as anything more than a friend, someone more than a few passing jokes between the other...turning his head and taking in his scent as he buried his face into a pillow again, looking forward to seeing those blue eyes...he should really get out of Walter's bed and get the covers washed.

Beckett brought comfort to his mind after his years of suffering, the sunrise after the storm.

He'd talked to Lovey, wondering if she could understand him, she was surprisingly responsive to his rambling as he worked on his arm, updating the tech and keeping up with maintenence.

Living here with Walter and slowly working past things with Lance and seeing he had genuinely started changes of his own, it made it easier with how Walter talked about him on the job, that he considered all options before violence and discussed the situations with him...it was good to know Beckett had helped Lance to.

He was glad to know Walter's field partner was a good one, though his lab partner, this Timothy Lawrence seemed to be pretty chummy didn't he, he'd seen a picture, thick brown hair, heterochromia eyes, blue and green to be exact and a chiseled jaw, in other words a damn pretty boy and he didn't want him around Walter.

He huffed folding his arms, yes he was jealous he was going to be pouty, before his injury he had thick black hair and had been known to be a very handsome man, now he looked like he'd been put through a grinder when he took off his holo mask and this Timothy Lawrence just had to be Walter's lab partner, he'd be around him alot and-

His phone buzzed, it'd been put on the side table and he read the text that'd come through and there was another one.

'Going out to dinner with Timothy, don't know what time I'll be back, have fun you probably need a break from me anyway lol 😂'

Killian's eye twitched, he nearly threw the damn phone, but how would he explain that, honestly he couldn't, Tristan sighed, shoulders drooping a little and answered his questions

'It's been a relaxing day, did work on the arm, Lovey' s surprisingly easy to talk to, watched a little television but perhaps you could suggest something to watch, it's rather hard deciding with all these options and no Walter you didn't upset me, though you left in a hurry, you do not need to avoid me. You're not a bother. Are you alright?'

'I'm so happy you're warming up to her! That's awesome! Also it's good you have time to relax, ten years of hectic stress you're more than overdue! I...well I was more embarrassed than anything, I reacted on instinct, last boyfriend liked that well that's probably more than you needed to know, but yeah I'll help you pick something to watch see you later!'

Last boyfriend? Spanking, Walter had, he had...Killian shifted well the blankets were starting to tent, the idea of being put over Walters petite lap and being told he was a very bad man came to mind.

He liked it.

He looked at his phone as it pinged again.

'And god damn it, make sure you eat something for dinner, don't just go picking out the cupboard!'

Killian snickered and replied

'Yes Daddy, I'll make sure to eat something.'

After sending the text he realised what he'd written and wished he could take back that text, wincing as he managed to look at the response

'Behave, eat dinner or I'll put you over my knee young man.'

Killian stared and stared at that answer, he knew Walter was just teasing but, his cheeks were warm and he was...was he blushing.

"You all set to go Timothy?"

Walter smiled, his back was feeling a hundred times better after Timothy had dug into the knots, it wasn't a surprise that he was good with his hands, you had to have nimble ones to work with the tech they used here.

"Yeah, just coming boss!"

He pulled his satchel over his shoulder after pulling on his old brown leather jacket

"Please Timothy don't call me that, call me daddy."

Walter laughed at how silly that sounded

"I'm sorry, pfffft don't call me that god please, no, Walter's just fine."

Tim had paused a moment a slight fear he might have a streak like his last boss after all but that laugh was too warm and giggly and just shook his head with a smile

"Wouldn't dream of it Walter, you're more of a kitten anyway."

Timmy felt his insides tighten a little and there was that hint of Jack Dna surfacing.

"So shall we go?"

Beckett enquired looking up at him, huh he kinda looked like Killian, just a little.

"Ready when you are."

And with that they were off.

- Zander really doesn’t trust easily and he constantly is questioning people’s motives, he doesn’t think the majority of people do things for him without wanting something in return and while he doesn’t always voice this opinion - you’ve got like ten dozen different brick walls to get through if you want to get  ‘inside his walls.’ It’s not impossible by any means (in my solo writing, there have been two non-sisters muses who’ve pulled it off, it’s 100% possible to do so) but it’s not easy.

- That doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about people however, he does feel empathy for others and it’s very possible for him to care about someone and not trust him. (Example: he can think of you as a friend but still be wary about your motives). Until he sees you at your worst / your rock bottom / he’s positive he knows what you’re capable of, he’s going to think you’re capable of horrific things, sorry.

- He doesn’t really discuss his feelings, he expresses them, he feels them, but he doesn’t want to talk about them.  The answer to why are you crying is always “I’M FINE” unless you managed to get through his walls.

- His sisters are very important to him, he’s in constant contact with Grace (just like Balo - is) and he tries to keep an eye on Balo when he can, intervening in ways she won’t find out about if he feels like he needs to. His parents? Not so much.

Ever since Zander was a child, the Driskell name has always felt like a weight. Perhaps it was thanks to his mother, the reminder that as the only son it was his job to keep an eye on his sisters, perhaps thanks to his father, stumbling in with the stench of alcohol on his breath. Either way, even from a young age, he could always feel a weight on his shoulders. It was his job to make sure Balo was ready for school, to help Grace with her math homework when he struggled and help her with dinner. It became easy to resent them, his father for all the harm he caused, for the broken bones and terror he left in his wake and his mother for putting her head in the sand. Sure, his mother worked a lot, made sure to get her children gifts with her tip money, and she loved them enough to intervene when she was home, but she never left, never hesitated to lie each and every time one of the children went into the emergency room after yet another night where Lance drank and had the hankering to hear screaming.

Their parents would never protect them, so he made it his job. While Grace could handle herself, the youngest of the three children (Balo), needed someone to step in and intervene. It only became more and more apparent the older they became, especially after Balo saying a bit too much lead the family into moving in a hurry before anyone could get the ball rolling to properly look into what was going on in the Driskell's home and they moved to Saratoga Springs, NY.  However, the more he tried to protect Balo, the more their father tried to hurt her, and the more Zander had to intervene. When Lance adopted Ivan for appearances this became a easier task as the older boy helped him out with keeping Balo out of trouble.

The day he started to attend Luxor and had to leave Balo behind for a year was one he dreaded, and no amount of phone calls to his little sister made the school someplace he truly was okay with being while he was there, so he avoided everything and kept his head down. The only friends he needed were the book club and his teammates on the baseball team, and even then - most were nothing more than an acquaintanceship. It was easier that way, even after Balo followed him to the school the following year, it was the spot he was content with. Other than when his sister would convince him he had to meet her friends or he had to go to a social event, he was more than happy to stay out of it completely and focus on his studies.

The day he got badly hurt in a 'friendly wrestling match' wasn't a surprise to anyone while at home during the summer break after his sophomore year. The fact Zander came into the emergency room with a knife embedded into his left bicep, however, raised several eyebrows. For once in his life, he didn't comment on the excuses his mother spun, or try to help with an explanation on 'who did it.' He just quietly went through the required surgery and hid his breath of relief when the full range of motion returned in his arm after recovery. He tried to act as if he was oblivious to the deals that were made, his father attending AA in exchange for the state not pressing the charges Zander refused to press for the sake of his sisters.

He's been at Luxor ever since he started, other than an occasional school break, and getting to go home during the mandated stay over the summer to help with the schools merging due to having prior commitments to work for his father.

In your voltron rewrite... are u going to change any character designs? Is Allura still gonna have a British accent? Will Lance have brown eyes?

Yep! Here’s a list of things off the top of my head:

Alteans won’t have British accents, because the trope of “advanced magical species sounding like Brits” is old and tired. I don’t know what I’ll replace it with if I’m being honest.

That being said, I kind of like Romelle’s accent?? I suspect it’s supposed to be a British accent, but it doesn’t carry all the way. The way she rounds her words is interesting.

To be fair, it’s hard to describe accents in writing (unless you go for a southern accent and star’ writin’ ev’ry word like this) but ideally Allura’s voice would be more…. Obviously alien, I suppose.

For example, Alteans could have a different respiratory system! Maybe they have an extra lung, or their lungs are hard and hollow instead of spongy like ours. And hey, that could affect the way they talk! 

Maybe there’s an almost whistling noise at the end of their sentences. Or their voice lilts on the first syllable of every word, or there’s no concept of the letter “h” in Altean so when they try to say “have” it comes out more like “eave” (or something along those lines…) The possibilities are endless!

Brown Eyes, Babey!! (Tyra do not interact)

Lance has brown eyes! 

His pupils are also bigger in my rewrite than they are in canon but I have no way to like… Make that come across. But just know. He has medium sized pupils and they are a lovely shade of medium brown :D

Hunk has dark brown eyes, as per canon. I’d say his eyes are the second darkest shade of brown (Shiro has the darkest eyes).

Shiro’s eyes are dark brown, to the point of black (ASIANS REPRESENT)

I’m making Pidge (and, by extension the rest of Holts) have hazel eyes instead of amber ^^ I did some research, and I decided that under the sunlight, Pidge’s eyes look almost multicolored- They’re light brown around the pupil and more green towards the outer ring of the iris.

Keith’s canon eye-color is blue-gray according to the Voltron wikia but toss that junk out the window, babey!

I feel like Keith’s Galra heritage definitely influences his eye color/shape…

LMAO when Keith was like, three, he got really sick so his dad took him to the hospital and the doctors there were CONVINCED Keith had jaundice because his sclera are a pale yellow. It’s not really noticeable because his eyes are so dark and contrast against them, but his doctors freaked out and tried to get him admitted for further examination.

Texas Kogane was luckily able to pass it off as a family condition lmfao.

Like Shiro, Keith eyes are dark to the point of coming off as black. However, Keith’s eyes are actually mixed violet-dark brown. It’s not obvious at first because violet + dark brown more or less combines to make a kind of reddish black (think #47001F or maybe #5C003D) but if you take a picture of Keith with the flash on/shine light on his eyes in a darkened room, they WILL glow.

I will stan the Galra having tapetum lucidum until the day I DIE.

Also Keith’s pupils are more oval in shape because I like to imagine the Galra having diamond shaped/vertical slit pupils, so Keith having oval pupils represents how he’s a combination of his parents.

Altean eyes are honestly so cool and I’ll keep them, with some minor updates. Like heterochromia!

Allura specifically has central heterochromia (two colors in the iris, with an inner ring around the pupil and then an outer ring around that). 

Coran has complete heterochromia; his right eye is his canon navy-purple, while his left eye is a gray-green. 

In my opinion, Allura is the embodiment/heart of Voltron and I’m changing parts of her character design to reflect that.

Instead of having stark white hair, Allura’s hair is a very light shade of purple. Alfor had white hair, Allura’s mom (who I’m still in the process of naming) had dark purple hair, so Allura is a nice medium in between.

It’s important to me that Allura has a lot of purple incorporated into her design because 1) It’s my favorite color, 2) It helps distinguish her from her mom (there will be NO copy pasting in this house!), and 3) Purple is associated with the Galra, and I want to acknowledge the fact that Voltron was born of both the Galra and Alteans.

This is important set-up for my Keith and Allura co-leadership arc okay. There are things behind the scenes. Also I’m too tired to like, fully explain why Purble Is Good but before anyone gets worried this isn’t me setting up a Galra Apologist arc so don’t worry.

Her hair color would be somewhere between #EDE2EF and #F8F3F9

Allura has central heterochromia, as I mentioned above, so she’s got a few colors going on. I’m still. So torn as to what those colors are. I want to incorporate blue and black to represent how she has the potential to fly the Blue and Black Lions, but I’m also tired of blue eyes in fantasy genres LMAO. Also….. green eyes……… OR PURPLE.

Does anyone else remember that theory that Allura has a prosthetic leg(s) because I do and I still think about it ALL the time. Anyway Allura has a kickass robotic leg, and I’m suddenly getting strong Paninya from Fullmetal Alchemist vibes. Nice.

Alteans have freckles!! Or something approaching freckles, they could just be a further extension of their facial markings lmao.

I like to imagine every Altean has their own unique patterns. Coran’s wrap around his arms and legs like jellyfish stings/waves. Allura has these spattering of dots concentrated on her shoulders and torso (heart of Voltron, babey!)

Lance’s hair is more wavy/slightly curvy in this universe than it is in canon. It also is just better overall because his canon hair sucks ass. Sorry ladies, but it’s true. 

Voltron has this weird thing for bangs. I don’t get it. Suffice to say, that shit is chopped off here.

I have no idea how to fully describe hair, but essentially: Lance’s hair now has a bit more texture, and he has more of it in general, so it doesn’t stay flat against his head. It’s short, but not cropped; there’s probably a little bit of give to it in the front, but not enough to call it a bang. He hates slicking back his hair because he’s insecure about his bigass forehead.

Hunk’s hair is HELLA THICK, like he has to keep it short or else it’ll get everywhere. There’s a slight curl to his hair, more in the back than in the front, and it all grows ridiculously fast. Ponytail Keith? Please. Ponytail Hunk is where it’s at.

Pidge’s hair is super funny to me. I mean, part of it is because it’s a ridiculous hair style, but it’s also completely impossible to replicate. Literally, does she gel her hair every day or something?? Nah. I’ll just make her hair a mix of curly-wavy and go. Also, instead of those knife bangs, she has a sweeping side-bang thing going on.

Keith’s hair is ugly but it stays because that’s literally just how Asian teenage boys are.

I’ll give him more hair-ties than canon does however. You thought turnip Keith was a one-time thing? You thought wrong.

Shiro having an undercut after a year of captivity is outrageously funny to me. Instead, he crash-lands on Earth with the most obviously self-cut haircut ever. Long hair was a liability in the gladiator pits, so Shiro made do with whatever rusty weapons he could find and a prayer. 

It’s horribly lop-sided. There are patches where it looks like his hair caught on fire, which it probably did.

Once they’re not in immediate danger of dying, Keith sits Shiro down and gives his brother a proper haircut. The Asian fade.

Allura likes to change her hairstyle every few days. Not because she’s particularly concerned about her appearance (Side-note: What would the beauty standards for a species capable of shape-shifting even look like??), but because styling her hair guarantees her at least an hour of personal time she can use to mentally prepare for the coming day.

- akeno “KEITH” shirogane: (age: 19) [gay] hes japanese/black/galran. hes still half galra in this reboot bc i fuck with that honestly but hes got more visible galran traits. his bottom canines are larger than usual and poke out from his bottom lip so he wears a mask to cover his mouth and his eyes r still purple but instead of his sclera being yellow(tinted), hes just like. got some odd golden flecks in his eyes. he normally wears a dirty mechanics jumpsuit with the top half tied around his waist and a black or white tank top underneath (hes still a high school flunk out so he works full time at a car repair shop so hes able to buy food and shit at LEAST + hes still got his motorcycle to keep in shape). his casual clothes r just regular grey sweats, hoodies, and adidas or whatever brand is closest in their future lol. hes blood related to shiro who ill get to in a second.. shiros blood related to him as his uncle (brother of keiths dad) ALSO his hair isnt long in this reboot, hes got a short messy head of hair that he mostly just pulls back into a TINY little pony tail on his forehead (like in the game show ep) so it doesnt get in his face while hes working. he also has goggles bc thats the one thing from yalls reboot ideas i actually like (endgame lion: he momentarily pilots black during shiros disappearance but his permanent and stationary lion is red)

- fal’allura “fala, ALLURA” naguna’ephy: [lesbian] (age: 21 or close to that in alien standards) shes altean on her fathers side and teem (what we’re gonna call nymas race) on her mothers side. she bares more altean features except her eyes are solid yellow and shes only got four fingers on each hand. instead of crescent shaped facial markings, she has painted on red and golden lines across her nose and her upper lip. her hair (very dark purple with silver highlights and literal glowing, twinkling stars) is VERY long, brushing the floor as she walks except and (now bear with me cuz this might be hard to explain) her hair, the farther down u look kind of fades away? like it becomes semi to absolute transparent… idk how else to explain it but i hope u understand…. she does wear a crown but its more like a headdress.. (imagine beyonces headdress).. she doesnt wear it often, usually only on diplomatic missions to greet other worldly rulers bc its heavy and it makes her neck hurt :/.. her dress! looks like this! but a little more spiffy .. u know.. her casual/training clothes are just…. idk imagine a royal looking sports bra and leggings?? i guess … ALSO ALSO ALSO she can still shape shift but instead of limiting her shifting to just the changing of skin tone and height, she can completely mimic different alien species but only humanoid races.. like she can have those indented looking knees and huge ass horns and all that but she cant like. turn into an earth lizard u know what im saying. also also also also she still speaks with an accent just… not a british one….(endgame lion: no lion. she keeps leading and piloting the castle ship until destruction, where she leads and pilots the atlas)

- alejandro “LANCE, ale” reyes-leon: (age: 19 ½) [bi] hes cuban/black/vietnamese. his dad is black and vietnamese and his mom is cuban! hes got longish afro textured hair he keeps back in a pony tail most of the time like this or a bun when training bc hes too lazy to put any actual effort into styling it. hes got a couple moles/freckles scattered across his face and hes got sectoral heterochromiaaround his left pupil so theres a little bit of blue in one of his other wise dark brown eyes (like this).. i havent really figured out what his clothing style is.. i thought about keeping his clothes close to vld canon like his jacket (bc that was a really good jacket) but im gonna go a little wild here so hold on. he wears one of those surfer type looking skin tight turtleneck shirts underneath his heavy bomber jacket.. he wears just regular ripped jeans and hightops like in canon…….. hmm……. he wears a pink bead necklace under his shirt that was made by his little cousin just a couple weeks before he was shot off into space and he hasnt taken it off since…………. he also has a tiny stick and poke tattoo on his ankle he did when he was thirteen bc he thought it would look cool but it turned out kinda lop sided so he never takes his socks off in embarrassment (endgame lion: blue to red (during keiths reign as black paladin) then to black when shiro leaves voltron to lead the atlas alongside allura)

- takashi “SHIRO” shirogane: (age: 31) [gay] hes japanese/black. hes keiths uncle and the only family keith really has .. his design doesnt really change much except hes got long hair (like kuron) but its pulled up into a messy bun or pony tail.. in MY canon hes still gay and married to adam (whos name isnt adam i just cant think of a new name for him yet) (and adam lives dont worry) and theyre working on adopting a daughter before shiro has to leave for kerberos. shiro usually dresses in work out outfits so like. gym shorts… tank tops.. leggings.. imagine those white blonde dudes who always wear a man bun and only eat vegan and drink chai from starbucks bc thats exactly how shiro acts but ONLY ironically ……… when shiros abducted on the galra freighter and forced to fight in the ring, his hair streaks white but instead of just a clean scar across his nose, he has multiple long scars scattered across his face from a one x one between his face and some debris thrown at him by a gladiator. his prosthetic looks and remains kinda the same i guess but this time its decked out with claws on the finger tips so it looks a little more galran yeah? (endgame lion: no endgame lion. he pilots the atlas alongside allura)

- francesca “frannie, frankie, PIDGE” eleonora: (age: 15) [trans girl lesbian] shes . just italian i guess. so anyway shes not gonna be an asshole bitch like canon pidge.. shes gonna be the caring sweet but KINDA mean little sister we always wished we had.. the little sister who would tell u, with all honesty, that ur winged eyeliner was smudged before u hit the town with the girls and made a fool of urself……. I'm caving, here's some VF HCs but pidge centric because he's my babygirl

Pidge and Larmina do get along but Larmina acts cold to him because he never could tell her why he had to leave so ubruptly after The Incident, she saw it as him pulling away and acting like every other adult in their life

Speaking of, Larmina and Pidge used to be glued together almost like siblings or the favorite cousin in the family, her ninja skills came from him

Pidge can't eat marshmallows, all Baltons can't. It's likely the high fructose corn syrup in it that ends up punching them in the gut and sends them into a bad drug trip

He has heterochromia! His glasses hide it most of the time but his eyes are normally brown, they're green because his eyes have a reflective backing to it which is what we see

got like 4-5 cats, Salami (the oldest), Oscar (the middle child), Miwa (the alien one), and Kevin (the kitten), and also green lion who he will die for before giving up his pilot seat

this man is not straight, I refuse to believe it, he is still interested in women though. Currently have him as Panromantic Demisexual

speaking of romance: I pair him with all the pilots gotta be honest, mainly shipped with Lance, Hunk, the new royal advisor, and the head of the castle guards

he does pole workouts, helps with core body strength and grip, he tries to keep himself balanced with exercise he thinks is fun

had a falling out with the original mice, ended up building the robot ones himself but he underestimated his abilities and now they're sentient :/

he's quite literally the teams trump card, with more years of combat experience than the team and his specialty in incapacitating enemies, theres a time and place though so he never goes all out

Yes the team has met them and they all get along, his family loves Pidge the most since he’s the baby of the team

the small ones are more Voltron themed, taking from the vld lion symbols and also just a lion tattoo because he deserves it

Also has many many piercings, he’s the reason why Larmina and Pidge got some because frankly they’re so rad

He’s got a burn scar on his eye to match yellow that also has a funky eye, he got it from protecting a kid from some flaming debris, he couldn’t block it all and it got on his face

This man is ALSO a genius because how the fuck does he land in an engineering position if he doesn’t know just as much as Pidge does

He acts like a meat head mainly because it was the mask that kept him safe while working for Wade, he has trouble taking it off when he’s back on Arus with the team

Usually the team eats what the kitchen staff make but sometimes Hunk steps in and makes a dinner for them instead, if he can grill he can cook normally

Cooking is also the way he gets the cadets to bond, he likes being the cool uncle but he also does want to teach them things

his carnivore tendencies means they cook a lot of meat based dishes

He helped give some personal touches to the uniforms, while the design itself is kept basic and uniform (aha) everyone wants their own touch of something

In his case he and pidge got short sleeves as they work in the hangar a lot, will probably add to this soon but in terms of uniforms that’s all I got

His anger issues didn’t fully go away to be honest, he learned to reign in it yes but it comes out when kids and mothers specifically are in danger

That’s because he really does care for kids and he remembers his own mother and if he doesn’t want his own to get hurt he won’t let anybody else’s get hurt either

He’s the only one with a normal ish family, he’s got two parents and siblings that are all alive and well

He does have some issues based on how his family treats each other but they mainly get along even if it isn’t entirely healthy

I swear I’m working on my rewrite, script writing is just hard 😫 I’m currently working in the first episode which is basically the same as the canon one with some changes to the Drule side of things so hopefully I’ll be able to post soon

Plot Idea #30 (Part 1) - In Private Insecurities

Zip-ur-Quiznak: Really I only know Lance's, Keith's and Shiro's. Lance's is that he's not good enough for the team. Keith is afraid of being abandoned, and Shiro has PTSD from his year in Galra captivity. He hashuge memory gaps that bother him. Also, he really doesn't like his Galra arm. He doesn't feel like it's part of him.   Red-paladin-of-marmora:I guess for Pidge, well my Pidge is letting down the team now that they have become a family to her. Especially with her skills in tech. Neko: I had to ask around because I wanted my info to be correct. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kristine is a museko. A "human" with cat ears, but with clawed fingers and feet had toe beans, but she wear boots to hide those because she was the only one from her family that had them. Museko were a special race. They were strong fighters as well as wonderful singers. Their songs hold emotions or spells, depending on how the muse use it. Kristine was the last of her people because the queen of all nekos and musekos, of her planet, decided to kill off her people because of a rumor. She only remember being shoved into a closet to kept safe, before coming out the next day to see her little hometown empty. When she enter the castle square, trying to figure out where everyone went, she saw all of them…well, she rather not go into it. Not long after that, did the Galra came and enslave her planet. She kept herself a hidden secret, keeping to herself. Until the day, Hagger found out about her. Kristinedidn't know how, but she rather not question it due to the position she was in. Her voice was constantly use to replenish quintessence and heal some Galra solider. Sometime to make Hagger stronger. She remember the day when Voltron came and liberated her planet, freeing her people. There was a party, thrown in their thanks and the Paladins were among them. She felt a connections with the Blue Paladin, who stood off to the side. It wasn't falling in love with him, no. More of wanting to protect him and he protecting her. Since her people deny helping Voltron in the fight against the Galra, Kristine stepped in, saying she wanted to help. Of course, the Queen tried to deny her, but one icy look from Kristine when the Paladin were discussing among themselves, the Queen let her go. She asked Lance to follow her home and help her pack, since she was going with them. She suggested she would be more help with them than being on her planet. After being with the Paladin for a few months, she realize the little things about them. The unspoken ones. She always find out, both in private and public. She was always there to help, even though sometimes she doesn’t know how. -Shiro Kristine see Shiro as a leader. Strong, calm, level headed, collective, and always gave a listening ear to everyone aboard the castle ship. Yet, no one hears the deep shouts of terror from dreams, his walks around the castle to come him down, the front he has to put on. Kristine didn't like it. Those she stood outside his room, when she heard his heavy labor breathing. She knew he woke up from another nightmare. When she heard the room door slide open, she look up at the shaking pupil of storm gray eyes with her own heterochromia ones. "Kristine. What's wrong? What are you doing up?" He asked. Kristine let out a soft giggle before letting out a sigh. "Stop it." She said. When she saw the confusion in his eyes, she only shakes her head. "Stop hiding behind the front of a leader. Let me help you. You help everyone else with their problems, but you have no one to lean on. So I'm here." She said. Shiro shakes his head, chuckling heavily. "So…you know?" He asked. Kristine shrugs. "Maybe. I hear you at nights. You forgot sometimes, I am have a different set of ears then you guys." Shiro chuckled. "Walk with me?" Kristine smiled and nods, walking slowly beside him. It was comfortable silence between them. Kristine hums softly to give a little sound before she pop the question. "Do you want to talk about it? It's ok if you don't want to." She asked. Shiro bit his bottom lip before nodding. "Yeah, I would like to." Kristine smiled. "Come. Let's go to my room. I have just the thing where it can help relax you." She said, taking his galra hand. Shiro visibly flinch and pulls back his hand. Kristine only raise an eyebrow, but didn't ask any question before leading the way to her room. When they got there, Kristine told Shiro to sit on the bed before going into her closet. She was digging around before coming back out with white and purple flower on a lily pad. "Here. This a Lily Mint Jasmine. It helps calm the nerves." She said. "take a deep of it" Shiro take it, hesitantly before closing his eyes and taking a deep whiff. His eyes immediately opened. "This smell heavenly. Like mint leaves and jasmine flowers from Earth." He said, amazed.Kristine laughs. "Shiro, my planet is like a copycat of your planet, but only different is I have claws fingers and cat ears and….some weird feet, but look that doesn't matter right now. Let's talk." She said. Shiro seem to tense up before slowly telling Kristine about his dreams from his year of captivity and the arena. "I know I have a case of PTSD from all this, but I almost feel like a freak, a monster, a killing machine with this arm. I can't let anyone know how I feel. I am not alright." He said softly. Kristine pulled Shiro into a hug. "You're not a killing machine or a freak or a monster. I see a man who have overcome something that could have hinder him and be a strong leader." She said. Kristine pulls back and looks at him. "Shiro, you don’t have to put a front with me if you're having these night terrors. Just promise me, you'll come to me. Just knock on the door. We can talk, we can cuddle, we can do anything you want to do, but don't keep putting up this front when you feel exhausted and drained. Let me help you." Shiro looks at Kristine before breaking down into heavy sobbing, clinging to her like a lifeline. Kristine let him, rubbing her hand on his back in a soothing manner and whispering positive things in his ear. Yes, Shiro was a strong, collective, calm leader, but right now, he was a man with some pieces that were missing. Kristine would gladly help him find it. -Keith Keith was the hot-headed reckless one. He was commonly known to be a loner. He was always trying training and butting heads with Lance. He never spend a long amount time with the Paladins or Allura or Coran or Kristine. He didn't want to make the connection, just to abandoned again. Then when finding out that he was part-galra made things worse for him, well that what he thought. Allura had been really cold to him, which the Paladin and Coran didn’t approve. Kristine see it as having Keith as a kitty brother. Even after Allura had apologize and things were going smoothly, Keith started to show some galra traits. His teeth have gotten sharper, his ears were now on the top of his head, his hair become more floofy and purple, a tail came along, his nail kept getting filed because they look like claws, and his skin would have splashes of purple. No one treated him any less, but Keith only seem to step farther back from everyone. Kristine….well, she just about had enough of him pulling away. She was going to sit down and talk to him. On common ground. Hence, Kristine find Keith on the training deck. She watched him for a little while before he notice her and immediately stopped. There was silence before Keith turn to head out the door, Kristine blocks it. "No way. You are not leaving here until you can floor me." She said. "Kristine. Move" "No way, Keith. The only way I will budge is you can physically move me." She said, holding her ground. "You always do this. I don't even see you anymore! Why? Because of your galra gene?" Keith stiffen and look away. "Look. No one wanted me before, why now?" "Because people actually care about you, Keith! Especially me!" Kristine said, snapping. "You are like my people. You're like me. Look at me and look at you. You have cat ears, I have cat ears. We can both purr, don't deny it, I heard you one time. We have claws, which comes in handy. We have tails, that can also come in handy." "But the Galra enslaved people, destroy planets, and separated families…and I am one of them. The others would realize it too and abandon me, just like how everyone else did in my life." Keith said, looking at the ground. Kristine clicks her tongue. "Keith, you didn't know until now." She said. Kristine sighs and bumps her head against his before nuzzling her face into his hair. "Kristine. What are you doing?" Kristine only purrs and hugs him. "I am claiming you as my brother. Nuzzling make us family. Keith, I am not going to abandon and neither are the others. You are our red paladin, hot headed and reckless, but we still love you all the same. You're my brother now. So you can come to me when you feel that way, ok?" She said. Kristine felt his arms wrapped around her waist and his hand clinging to the back of her shirt. "Don't worry. I'll protect you. You'll protect me. I promise I won't abandon you as long as I live."   -Lance Lance is the team sharpshooter, yet he see himself as seventh wheel. He wasn't smart like Pidge or engineer like Hunk. He wasn't a leader like Shiro or a great pilot like Keith. He wasn't diplomatic like Allura and he wasn't helpful like Coran. He wasn't anything or that's how he felt. Kristine didn't see it that way. Here they were, looking at the star at the observation desk, during the night cycle. Kristine was telling a story about the stars that her mother had told her when she was a little girl. "And then Dal…Lance, are you even listening?" Kristine asked, looking at him. She only got a hum in response. Kristine decide to bop his nose with her finger, that got him to pay attention. "Welcome to the world of listening. Where did you wonder off to?" She asked. Lance bit his bottom lip, shaking his head. "It's nothing." He said. Kristine raised an eyebrow. "Come on, tell me." Lance sighs. "I'm useless to Voltron." He said. Kristine look at him with confusion. "What do you mean?" "I mean, look at me. I don't have a thing. Look at the others. Look at you. Pidge is tech genius, Shiro is great and awesome leader, Hunk is our engineer and our chef cause let be honest, Coran's cooking can be used as bomb. Keith is reckless, but he's an amazing pilot and fighter, Allura is great at being diplomatic and leader, Coran is great everything related to the ship and other alien cultures, then you. You can sing a deadly tune and kick ass.Me? I am just the sharpshooter, but I am not even good with that. The Blue Lion made a mistake. I am just a boy from Cuba." He said. Kristine sighs. "Lance, of course you're not like us, you're Lance. The Blue Lion didn't make a mistake. She chose you for a reason. You are an amazing pilot and I rather be in your lion because I feel safe. The last time I was Keith, I wanted to pray and become a nun. Never again. You are amazing shooter, even I can't hit targets as well as you do. Plus you are kind and sweet and huggable and funny. Plus I like flirts jokes and your pick-up lines. They make me laugh." She said. "Lance, you're unique in your own sense. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If they do, please tell me. I'll show them exactly how I can put someone in the hospital. It's quite easy actually." She said. Lance chuckled, shaking his head. "You're the best sister right now." He said. "I can't wait to take you back to Earth." Kristine smiled. "Will you tell me all about it?" She said. Lance immediately burst into telling her stories about his hobbies, his family, the beach, and everything cool about Earth. Kristine giggled. -Pidge Pidge was the tech genius. She was the smartest and was always coming up with new technology on the fly and making sure everything was color-coordinated because what is she? An animal? (See what I did there. No? ok.) When Pidge was able to find her brother, Matt. She felt a small piece of her has return. She was so happy that she was finally able to find her brother. Now she was worried about her father and was more focus on finding him. About a month after finding Matt, almost been blown up by a planet bomb, and saved by Lotor, Pidge had reside into trying to find her father. She was barely slept at night, so she was snappy and cranky in the day. She was always on edge, that everything was mixed with her Paladin work. No one would say anything, hoping she would snapped out of it eventually. It didn't, it only got worse. Kristine had to step in when Pidge pass out from not sleeping for nearly a week, working off a space equivalent to coffee and 5 hour energy drink. Pidge woke up to a clean room that clearly wasn't hers. She sat up, groaning when she felt the pounding headache set in. "I see you're awake." Kristine said, from sitting in a chair right next to her. "Hunk made soup. You're eat it and relax." She said, passing over a tray and a spoon. Pidge didn’t want to, but knowing Kristine, she rather not fight it. So she began to eat. Kristine kept quiet until Pidge was finish eating, that when she took the tray back. Pidge was going to move to get up, but Kristine push her back down. "No. You're on bedrest and ban from your stuff until you have a working sleeping schedule down." She said. Pidge gaped at her before laughing. "You must be joking. I don't have time for bedrest, I need to find my father." She said. "Pidge. You will find your father, but you need to calm down and rest. You just pass out from the lack of sleep and overworking yourself." Kristine argued. "So no way you're going straight back to work." Pidge groans. "I need to find him. I already found Matt, if I find him then everything will be ok." She said. "All the things and ways that I led me to Matt isn't working for my dad. I need to fix. I can't fail this. I-I just can't!" Kristine sighs and sat in the chair again, looking at Pidge. "Pidge. I am sure that you will not fail. You will find your father, but please rest. At least you have a father to look for." She said. Pidge felt bad and wanted to apologize but Kristine shakes her head. "You'll find your father, you'll win this war, you'll go back home, and you will be happy again. Your father would be so proud of you. So trust me right now and try to rest." Kristine said. Pidge look at Kristine before nodding. She lay back and relax. She didn't know how tired she was, until she fell into a deep sleep. Kristine left the room, smiling. "Sleep well, Pidge."

dragon / familiar au

i. lance doesn’t have a complete mastery of his transformations just yet. he can shift from his human form to his smaller dragon form with ease but it takes more energy, more magic & concentration, to shift into that massive dragon form that could level cities. he also doesn’t have much control of himself in that form so he’s almost completely reliant on his witch to guide him. anything in-between causes him a bit of pain, though he’s slowly figuring that part of himself out.

ii. his primary element is water & all of its forms. he’s most comfortable actually in the water ( his mother joked that he was secretly part mermaid ) but he’s mostly adept at using ice as his primary method of attacking ( whether it be just shooting ice magic or forming a weapon out of ice ) or defending ( creating a shield or wall ). he’s still learning, especially with using his primary element in conjunction with others, & his magic is nowhere near its peak.

iii. although most dragons have their tell-tale golden eyes in their draconic form, lance retains his dark blue ones. the only golden parts of his eyes surround his slit pupils, making his eyes look like a central heterochromia pattern

iv. unlike what many myths & legends say, a dragon’s underbelly is not its weakness. at least in the way that most would pressume it to be. because honestly? lance loves belly rubs when hes in that smaller form & if he trusts you, he has no qualms about crawling into your lap & twisting onto his back, practically demanding belly rubs when possible.

v. lance’s normal core temperature, like all dragonborne, is actually a bit higher than normal humans. he’s always warm, practically a walking heater. but because of his affinity for water, he’s able to control his temperature to some degree so he normally doesn’t feel any hotter or colder than a normal human. in his draconic form, however, his scales are inherently cool to the touch, but not ice-cold. he can mess with his temperature in this form, too.

i. al’zen is the first one to meet yuusei, back when he was a child. he & his parents were on a different planet & he got distracted by some kind of flying animal, automatically chasing after it & getting lost. of course by the time he lost the creature, he was nowhere near his parents. he would’ve been more freaked out, if it wasn’t for someone finding him soon after. al’zen didn’t feel any sort of fear when he first saw this giant creature, only gasping in awe when the dragon suddenly shifted & he looked kinda like him! the little altean prince happily held yuusei’s hand, talking a mile a minute, telling yuusei how pretty his other form was, asking if he could teach him how to shift into something like that too. they make it back to where al’zen can find his parents again, but before he can thank yuusei & suggest that he meets his mom & dad, yuusei’s gone.

ii. ofc no one really believed that he saw one of the signers but al’zen wasn’t too bothered, surprisingly. he knew who helped him & as he grew up, he never forgot how warm yuusei’s hand was, how safe he felt despite the clawed hand that was so much bigger than him, never forgot how pretty that dragon form was, or how kind yuusei’s voice was. the only thing he regrets is the fact that he can’t remember yuusei’s face, only seeing a blur & shadows when he tries to remember. it’s no wonder, really, considering just how young he was, but still.

iii. the next time al’zen meets yuusei again, it’s because he was a part of an extraction mission to help rescue prisoners from rogue pirates that had been a thorn in both the galra & altean’s sides ( along with everyone else in their systems ). al’zen is the one who finds him deep in an isolated cell & at first he thought yuusei was dead — until yuusei’s eyes snapped open & nearly gave al’zen a heart attack. it isn’t until he actually took hold of yuusei’s hand to help him get a bit more leverage does he realize just who he has in his arms. “guess it’s my turn to help you.”

iv. al’zen has absolutely no qualms about going up to yuusei in his dragon form & literally curling against his side & taking a nap. everyone leaves them alone at that point & al’zen takes every opportunity he can to go visit yuusei.

v. al’zen eventually ends up jokingly calling him mavaad, an older altean term for mother, though with a differing context. it technically means “mother” in its modern translation, but the actual meaning/definition is for someone who “breaths life into one who needs it.” or something along those lines; it’s ancient text, after all.

Fidem 'Phasma' Renatus: where did she come from? We don't know. How did she get here? We don't know. Will she ever stop the finger guns? Probably not. Which is kind of dangerous because she has wired gloves as her main weapons and would use them to ride giant bird daemons off into the sunset if you give her the fucking chance. She's an adrenaline junkie and Aurora's best friend and there is just. No stopping her. Do the wired gloves make her vulnerable as fuck against thunder? Absolutely bit it's okay she will laugh it off. Has some wild ass link attacks with Aurora and worms great against aerial enemies. Frankly she's a mess but that happens when you're under Prompto's mentorship/have been practically adopted by him BC he sensed the 99 layers of Baggage(TM) you're inevitably hiding. Does she have heterochromia. Yes fuck you and your family. Her skill is pretty much bestiary knowledge. In the form of spelunking. Also probably has sticky fingers whoops.

Calendula 'Dula' Amicitia: Lucis native. Taken in by Iris when she was on one of her hunts as a daemon hunter when she was around 20 and she found this smol orphan girl in a town real screwed over by daemons. Dula is a sweetheart that loves to look both cute and be able to knock a man on his ass if needed. Generally chill, but she's also one of the first to go 'cool shit' at behemoth ass looking daemons and junk. Does she has an axe? I like axes so yes, she does use an axe. She probably put a bow on it. How would you feel about getting your ass reamed by an axe with a bow on it. 12/10 quality friend and ally tho she's always there to tell Aurora to speak the fuck up more or keep Fidem at least a little more in reign. Gets along super well with Natura but also please stop taunting the enemy Dula. Gladiolus has his work as an uncle cut out for him but if there's one thing Dula knows it's that you don't 'bend rules' and shirk certain training drills in his presence. Probably also stellar at hand to hand combat. Test Her, bitch. Her skill is 'I see you wearing that +10 defence jacket but have you considered +15 speed boots so you don't have to worry about getting hit in the first place lmao'.

Natura 'Nat' Fluminis: Tenebrae native. She's tall and looks hella cool with a lance. 0/10 don't fuck with her because she Will fuck you up she looks like she has chill but along with having the most technical skill between the squad, she is arguably the most low-key aggressive. Mum friend, except it's a ruse and she's the vodka aunt and all the booze is hidden in her car's trunk. Stella's close friend and more precise her bodyguard. Pretty much an older sister to all the girls and keeps an eye on them. Knows good behaviour = more leeway. Probably the one more expected to act as an advisor to Stella in the future and as such takes a lotta advice/lessons from Ignis whom she respects a lot. Ignis didn't sign up for Natura 'I know loopholes like the back of my hand' Fluminis but he can respect that. Her skill is coming up with techniques and attacks. Her skill is Skill, get on her level.

1. Likes their music loud:

mmmm fuck i can’t choose one, but ! I can choose three, and that’s Res, Jesse, and Lance. They like loud music. Makes things sound quieter. 

13. Doesn’t open up to others very easily:

Several, once again. Alexander, due to his neglectful father, is unable to open up to others as easily as say, Lance is. Ukeviel, who’s been kicked out of his town for his heterochromia which is seen as something evil, is unable to talk to others because he’s scared of getting attached. Dusty, as well. He’s never had a friend besides Res before, so he finds it difficult to get used to other people.

19. Likes roses:

Strangely enough, it’s Jesse who loves roses. She thinks they’re beautiful and they make her feel beautiful. Like she’s deserving of that type of love. 

(P.S. Once she learns of this, Astra gets some for her.)

36. Has bad luck:

Alexander, lmao. He’s got horrid luck. He can be the nicest person, but he’s kind of on the gods bad side at the moment.

38. Loves the rain:

Coltan. He finds it soothing and just overall nice. It makes him feel… calm and like he doesn’t have anything to worry about. That everything is okay. The same with Kravitz. Kravitz enjoys the rain not only because he’s a water magistician but also because it makes him feel light.

40. Will kiss someone to steal their wallet:

Lance! Lance loves money, has been stealing for a while and is very confident in his own abilities to steal. He also knows he’s attractive. And if he thinks he can use his own physical hotness to get money, he will do so.
