I think the lives of Star Wars people who spend their lives on the ground, on planets, rarely ever going to space except perhaps to a beach planet on vacation or to visit relatives in another system and who are just chilling as either lawyers, farmers, builders, spaceship engineers, doctors (Healers in SW universe lore idk?), singers, actors for hologram dramas, students of universities, high school students, mine workers or owners who find the materials needed for all that spacecraft craft we take for granted, the scientists, etc. basically the lives of non-force sensitive people or force sensitive people who use their powers for mundane stuff and live in this advanced sci Fi setting should be explored more.
Almost every fandom fusion on Star wars assumes their characters would live completely different lives if they were in the Star wars universe…. But why. What were the wars about, what were the Sith and the Jedi fighting over? Presumably an incredibly advanced civilization that had more than just soldiers eternally fighting living in it (or more like OUTSIDE in spaceships). So in an alternative universe your characters do not necessarily have to live in space. They can still be their canon profession except they might have futuristic gadgets to help them do their job. They may know the canon characters as either soldiers or historical characters they see on the news or learn in school (Hey class, today we are seeing the clone wars and the rebellion lead by Luke skywalker) . They can still meet. Or they can go to space and become jedi or such after living a relatively normal life, that would also be interesting (We are assuming here this is Post original trilogy and the Jedi got reformed not to be a child soldier institution).

Oooh. About your parasitic extraction au? How do force sensitives live in the Mandalorian empire? Like you said conscripted, do they have a bastardization of Jedi culture? Are they enslaved? What is it like? Do canon characters live in the empire or in the Jedi Order in hiding? (I'm thinking Mace Windu, Depa Billiba, Plo Koon, and Ahsoka Tano mainly.) Also! Do other clones exist? Mainly the CCs. Wolffe, Fox and Bly lol
the mandalorian empire love having force sensitive warriors because they're extra strong and have superhuman reflexes so they do everything they can to get their hands on as many of them as they can
general practice is for young force sensitives to be 'adopted' by high-ranking mandalorian clans for training. if they're born into a less prominent mandalorian clan, maybe they can train their kid themself or they can surrender the kid. if the family is not a mandalorian family (e.g., one of the occupied worlds) they're supposed to surrender their force-sensitive child for training and this is considered an honorable thing to do. if they don't want to do that and try to get their child to the jedi order instead to save them from being conscripted for basically the rest of their life then usually their whole family gets killed and the child gets sent to a mandalorian clan as above (this happened to ahsoka and she hates the rebellion because she blames them for her family's death)
mandalorian jedi all wear collars which cannot be removed, and the collar denotes their rank. each mandalorian jedi is also assigned to a handler who is supposed to act as support and also is supposed to kill their jedi if they go off the rails (drink too much dark juice from all the murder and start killing everyone). a mandalorian's jedi armor specifically has an undefended back for this purpose. they're not *technically* enslaved because this is considered an honorable position and they get a lot of privileges but like. read between the lines here.
mandalorian jedi are basically all trained in combat and not so much in the psychic philosophical spiritual stuff because the mandalorians think that 'don't kill people' thing is for chumps and they burned down most of the jedi temple's libraries. they just don't know how to do the psychic stuff and most of the psychic stuff doesn't work very well when you don't teach them emotional regulation first. like a trial for all mandalorian jedi is that they get their kyber crystal and they're not promoted until they've killed enough people that it turns red. if that puts things into perspective.
anyways, the old jedi order is in hiding across the galaxy. they wear normal clothes and they got rid of the padawan braid because they don't want to be murdered on sight. instead of the braid, they use a set of prayer beads, which they carve and add beads to as they go through trials and visit different worlds, partially because prayer beads are really easy to dispose of in a hurry. they do have a base in dagobah though where they take care of and teach the youngest force sensitives.
re: who's who, there are a lot of canon characters on both sides. obi-wan, obviously, is one of the traditional jedi. he was mace's padawan when he got captured by jango. depa, plo koon, jocasta, yoda, and maul are all traditional jedi. obviously there are more, but those are the ones who get mentioned by name.
on the mandalorian side, we have ahsoka (whose handler is padme), anakin (whose handler was rex), qui-gon (who is dead), ventress (whose handler is isabet reau), dooku (whose handler is myles), quinlan (who is a spy trying to infiltrate the jedi order), also aayla and vokara che who kind of just briefly show up
the other clones mostly don't exist. I say mostly because when jango put in a clone order for two sons, kamino made three in case one of them didn't make it, but all three of them did make it and the third one is fox, who the kaminoans then put into the brainwashing factory to turn him into a brainwashed super soldier. and then when jango went back and asked for a new son because cody and rex disappointed him, they made three again and two made it. one of them is boba, and the other one I have named kiki. he is also put into the brainwashing factory.
which is all to say. being a jedi is rough as hell regardless of what side you're on.
ask me a question about parasitic extraction, the role reversal mandalorian empire au that I have

what’s your favorite raised as sith obikin head canons?
Hello, anon!
This a good question! I don't usually have hc about specific AUs or I do but I'm shit at wording them lol
That being said, I spent like four hours in a car today so I thought a bit about what I like to see in raised as sith obikin AUs
For raised as Sith Obi-Wan, I like him being immediately interested in Anakin! Maybe it's because I love Clem (obiwanobi)'s Sith Senator Kenobi but the idea of Sith Obi-Wan raised all his life to hate the Jedi and then immediately falling for the disaster one and stealing Sidious's apprentice from under his nose is hilarious to me (especially if he's not even Palpatine's apprentice but Dooku's and Dooku is aging twice as fast due to Obi-Wan's shenanigans against Palps lol)
For raised as Sith Anakin, my first hc would be that he's only Vader when he's raised by Palps. If the story ahs another Sith master, then the name would be another one (like in my raised as Sith Anakin AU where Sith Shmi was the one naming him). Of course, I can accept Vader from another Sith master if the reason Anakin is falling is the same than the one in ROTS but I think it would be a bit covoluted to go with that naming convention lol. So I usually associate Sith Name with the master (this would apply to other sith apprentices, say Dooku or Maul would have different sith names if like, Yoda had been the Sith master)
The thing I like for Sith Anakin in this kind of AUs is the curiosity he feels for Obi-Wan and the Jedi. He sees they are nothing like he has been taught and he wants to be part of your world that community.
Also, him being bemused by Obi-Wan flirting with him, and even a bit shy about the whole thing as well.
On Obi-Wan's part, I love him being curious about Anakin as well, and also, I think he's the very personification of the "I can fix him" meme in this kind of AUs. Or not fix him but he wants to help.
In general, if Anakin is being redeemed or coming back to the light, I like exploring how it works without Luke being directly involved but while keeping him in some way (mostly because of what I explained here) I don't mind him not being part of it in other AUs since I realise that Luke's role is also tied to his own character arc and the reason Anakin fell and a lot of other meta reasons I won't go into right now but yeah, in my own writing I try to have him involved in some way.
Also, as a character in these AUs, Anakin hates Dooku on principle. He considers him the weak Sith as Palps snatched him from the Jedi while Anakin was raised as one. Anakin firmly thinks HE is the real apprentice and the only reason he's not taking Dooku out is because his master needs him.
He's not particularly fond of Maul either but he recongnises that they are the same in that sense, with Maul having been raised as Sith too.
Uhhh that's all I think? They are mostly headcanons I like for my own writing, not something I would stop reading a fic for (I love raised as sith Anakin AUs a lot)
Thank you for asking! I hope these work for you!

STAR WARS AU!!!!!!
Vader=Wilbur
Obi-Wan=Phil
Luke=Fundy
Leia=Tommy
Han Solo= Tubbo
Chewy=Ranboo
Have fun! Also I adore you writing
Hello! And thank you! Glad you liked my writing! :DD
I'm sorry this took a while to make, probably two months :(
I tried my best but to be honest I don't know much about Star Wars, though I am aware of the general plot.
This isn't as accurate to the films because I wanted to write a story that is sorta based off of the plot but diverges from it? I'm very sorry if this is far-off from what you wanted but I just thought that the story wouldn't progress the same way it did if these specific characters where representing the Star Wars characters.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this! :D
(I am sorry to any Star Wars fan that reads this, I am absolutely uncultured skskskks).
I. You were My Son
Phil grabbed the lightsaber, clipping it to his belt.
He stared down at the boy, indifferent to the burns of his wings. He would never fly again.
“You were the Chosen One! It was said that you’d join the Sith, not join them!” He’d had hoped. He had so much hope. But staring down at the boy, a boy he’d once cared for - a boy he’d raised - he couldn’t help but wonder if it was fault. His boy was still looking at him, and his heart was torn into two. He mustn’t fall for the act. “Bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness!”
His wings flapped together, before a stinging pain ripped through his back. Phil collapsed, groaning at the burns on his back. They both hadn’t gotten out of this unscarred. He stood, shaking his head. He needed to return to Sally and the remaining Jedi Masters. Yet, he stayed for a little longer, staring into those pained eyes. He loved his sons. He did. He would have given them the world, but of course, he believed in the ultimate balance of the force first. He forced himself to look away and walk. As he turned to leave, he heard Wilbur whisper, “I hate you.”
“You were my son, Wilbur.” He turned back, sobbing, “I loved you.”
II. The Smoke
Fundy felt faint.
He stared at the smoking hole that once housed his home, his teeth rattling underneath the twin suns. Fundy heard the rustle of wings behind him, the intake of breath as the old man stared at the wreckage. He stumbled deeper into the ruins, picking up pieces of stone that had survived the destruction. He kept them close to his chest, fingers shaking and his knees threatening to buckle underneath his weight. He’d left home on a bad note. He didn’t think… He stumbled further, shaking his head as he took in another dusty gulp of air. No. No. They couldn’t be dead. That would make him… Fundy could feel tears pool in his eyes. He’d left home for an hour…
“Fundy— I am so sorry. Maybe if we had gotten here a little bit sooner.” He heard the Elytrian mumble behind him, resting a comforting hand on his shoulder. He shook it away, shaking his head profusely. No. No. No. His parents were alive! They were! Captured, taken, fucking something else! He headed towards the center of the house. “Oh, Fundy, we should leave no—”
The smell of charred meat reached his nose. He gagged, his knees finally buckling underneath him. At the center of what was once the living room were two pairs - well, they were… they were once his… - of corpses. They had been burned beyond recognition, skin charred black and smouldering. He didn’t even know who was who. Wings wrapped around him, Phil gently whispering into his ears that they needed to go. He hadn’t said goodbye to his parents. The tears came, and so did the screaming. Phil pulled him closer, burying Fundy’s head into his shoulder.
“I’m so sorry, Fundy. I’m very sorry.”
III. The Prince
“Fuck you.”
He growled, watching the man’s imposing figure disappear out of the small cell.
Tommy’s body felt sore, scars littering up and down his arms as sparks of phantom electricity coursed through his veins. The fucker had thrown him into the cell, threatening him with torture if he didn’t reveal where the rebel base was. He took a deep breath, calming his mind. He would never tell, and if everything had gone according to plan, then Phil should be on his way right—
A sharp hiss pierced the air. He shuddered, eyes widening as the mechanical doors began to click open. It was too soon. Too early. A small whimper escaped his lips, tears threatening to slip past his cheeks. He pulled at his restraints, hissing as his bloodied wrist banged against the sharp metal. They hadn’t loosened them ever since he’d been dragged inside the damned Death Star. It was almost like they were begging for him to die of an infection. He heard the clatter of stormtrooper boots against the floor. He warily looked up, expecting a blaster bullet to the face.
They removed their helmet, revealing a fellow Fuxvos. “I'm Fundy Soot. I'm here to rescue you.”
IV. In the Dumps
“How much do I need to pay for you to shoot those two?”
Fundy casted a disappointed look at Prince Tommy and Ranboo.
Tubbo was by his side, helping him scour through heaps of trash in hopes of finding a way to escape being crushed. After Fundy had rescued the prince, surprised to find that the prince was a Fuxvos like him, he’d brought the prince along to where he knew Ranboo and Tubbo were waiting. For some odd reason or another, the prince had gotten along well with the smuggler, but he’d turned hostile as soon as he saw the Enderian. The irony was, it was the Enderians who got irritated when people looked them in the eyes. Ranboo had been nothing but nice, but at some point, he’d fallen into arguing with Tommy. Maybe it was the fear of imminent death coming.
“You couldn’t pay me enough.” The Gāttain gave him a sharp look, unamused by his question. They went on with the search, the walls closing further until his back was against Tubbo’s. His breath quickened, praying that Phil would arrive soon to save them. He pressed a hand to the wall, and it gave way. His eyes widened, wondering if this was one of the abilities of the force… until he heard the sharp yip of a familiar robot above them. He looked, a delighted smile crossing his face. He waved at the Fuxvos-like robot, YGU-RT waving back with his tiny little hand.
He turned back to the others, “Everyone thank YGU-RT.”
V. Into the Cold
“Are you insane?”
Fundy stepped past Tubbo, waiting for the metal doors to click open. The Gāttain followed after him, butting him in the forearm. He winced, moving away before Tubbo decided hitting his head against him wasn’t enough and that he needed to pierce his horns through Fundy’s arm. He rolled his eyes, nudging Tubbo away before his friend could get any more ideas. Someone had to go check on the probes that the Empire had sent. He shivered, the door had clicked open, letting in the cold of Hoth. Tubbo moved back, unequipped for the cold unlike Fundy. He pulled the red beanie over his head, hoping that the wind wouldn’t blow it away. His ears were too sensitive.
“Someone has to check the probe crash site, see if we need to evacuate.” He breathed in the fresh crisp air. When he was a young kit, he never expected to ever leave the Badlands, much less be on a planet that was its complete opposite. “Hopefully, it’ll be a quick check. I’ll be back soon.”
“Fine, just don’t die because Tommy will kill you if you do.”
He laughed, waving Tubbo goodbye. “We wouldn’t want that.”
VI. A Painful Truth
“No, Fundy. I am your father.”
“Bullshit!”
His claws dug deeper, poking deep into the metal. “I have a father, asshole.”
Siren grinned at him gently, “Search your feelings, you know it to be true.”
Fundy laughed weakly, before letting go. Siren’s panicked eyes were the last thing he saw.
VII. Back in His Arms
“There’s my son.”
“I agreed to come peacefully!” His son scowled, pulling at the restraints.
“Did you think I wouldn’t take extra precautions, Fundy?”
“I thought…” A conflicted look crossed his son’s eyes. “Nevermind.”
Sirem smiled, “Ready to meet The Emperor?”
VIII. My Son
He slammed one of the stormtroopers out of the way, seething at what he’d learned.
Siren entered the room, reaching through the force to cling to the only presence inside. He had half the mind to kill the man before him, snap his neck like he’d done to so many. He would. But he’d rather keep his blood inside his body. Siren stepped closer to the bed, glaring down at the Elytrian who sat at the edge with an impassive look on his face. He tossed the datapad at the man’s lap, growling when the bastard had the audacity to look surprised. He should know why Siren was there. He should have known ever since that outburst he’d caused just a few rooms down the hall. Phil stared down at the datapad, sighing, “He should not have said his name…”
“You took my son from me!” He pointed an accusatory finger at Phil, growling as the Elytrian met his eyes. Siren felt his heart squeeze at the thought that he never got to raise his kid. Worse, Phil had indoctrinated him in the stifling ways of those damned Jedi. His son’s fiery light within the force was too passionate for something so restrictive. “Did you take him from Sally too?!”
“Sally died of a broken heart. She wanted me to keep the baby safe.” Phil kept his voice even, eyes betraying nothing even as he reached for Siren’s hands. He scowled, pulling away from the man. He didn’t get to touch him after all the shit he’d put him through. His tail bristled. He never got to see his son when he was just a kit. From what he could tell on the datapad, his son had his hairstyle but the same color as his mother’s. He had a mixture of their eyes, but Fundy’s had been lighter with flecks of golds in them. Siren had nearly laughed when he realized Fundy had had the misfortune of inheriting Sally’s height. “She wanted him to grow up safe, Wil. Please—”
He scowled, turning away. “You couldn’t hide him from me forever.”
IX. Blood Red Eyes
“Brother, meet your nephew.”
Fundy gaped, hands pausing against his restraints as Wil— Siren walked up the small pedestal, reaching towards the cloaked man that was seated at the throne. No one had ever seen the Emperor before, at least, no one’s ever lived to tell the tale. He shuddered, pulling harder at his restraints. His blood turned cold, his hands numbing to the point that he couldn’t move them.
The Emperor reached up, pulling down the red cloak to get a better look at him. Crimson eyes stared at him, unimpressed but with a hint of amusement as The Emperor looked over at the giddy look in Siren’s eyes. His throat clogged. Had Phil lied about this too? Withheld information? It was one thing to lie and say that Siren was some man who betrayed the Jedi instead of being Fundy’s actual dad, but… Fundy looked between the Siren and Emperor, unable to mutter a single word. The Emperor had long pink hair, a Pictherlen who was dressed in royal-clothing. He didn’t know how, but if Siren had pink hair, he would think they were twins.
“No—”
Siren gave him a sad smile. “You’re back with your real family now, Fundy.”
X. The Laws of the Jedi
“I didn’t know you were back.”
Techno looked up, catching his twin’s eyes… before trailing down to the padawan braid.
“I miss your curly hair.” He huffed, crossing his arms in front of his chest. Wilbur laughed, pulling at the braid as though it were an accessory he could just detach. Wilbur had never liked braids, unlike Techno. He ran a hand through his own long hair, irritated that they’d made Wilbur dye that one patch of pink hair dark brown. “Are you happy, Wilbur? You memorize their code?”
“Don’t look at me like that, Techno.” Wilbur snickered, “I don’t follow all of them!”
He raised a brow, lips raising into a smirk. “How so?”
================================================
It feels wrong to make Techno the Emperor
But I'd like to think he was a Gray Jedi that ended up falling deep into the dark side.
