I love love LOVE the way Deku corrects himself here. That at first he says Tenko, but then changes his mind to say Tomura Shigaraki.

Because it wasn't just Tenko - the scared little boy that mattered.

It was Tomura Shigaraki that was the hero to people like Spinner, Tomura Shigaraki whose message he needs to remember as he goes into the future. Tomura Shigaraki who deserved to be saved, just as much as Tenko Shimura.

Just a really lovely touch to this chapter, and why everyone needs to read the official release of the series and not just the leaks before judging lol

Alright everyone, I NEED you to go watch the new live action avatar.

Because despite everything, and I never thought I’d say this, it was good.

Now, don’t expect it to be exactly like the cartoon, because unlike it’s source material it has a darker undertone (which makes sense given it’s a live action, and not a cartoon catered towards a younger audience) but other than that I think it’s a overall pretty great adaptation. It reorders and removes and changes things but nothing feels unnecessary for the shift in theme they made.

Needless to say, go into it with an open mind and not so cemented in the idea everything needs to stay the same. If everything was the same there would be no need for a live action. The only difference would be that you can see the actors and at that point just go watch the original again. The adaptation took the source material and molded it into something different, but definitely enjoyable, and with people set in hating it for frankly obstinate reasonings, it’s not going to get a season two. And that would be a travesty because I for one, am dying to see where they takes this.

maybe it’s just because I have been sick for a week and binge watching Taskmaster New Zealand but hear me out: The Locked Tomb Taskmaster AU (as in alternate universe, not Taskmaster Australia)

Gideon the Ninth takes place during task filming at Canaan House. Teacher plays the role of Taskmaster’s Assistant. Each cav-necro team acts as a single competitor; houses are paired up for the team tasks (so we can get our Harrow-Gideon-Palamades-Camilla Team 69 on). At the beginning, all teams are told there is a Secret Task that they must piece together by the end (the secret task is: Eat Your Cavalier). All the murders still happen in roughly the same order.

Harrow the Ninth takes place during studio filming. Harrow, Ianthe, Mercymorn, Augustine, and G1deon are the “contestants” on the five chairs. Jod is Taskmaster, the corpse of Cytherea sits in the seat of the Taskmaster’s Assistant. The corpse changes position and facial expressions between shots but otherwise does not move or speak. Jod still attempts to banter with it. When tasks are shown, they are all drawn from Harrow’s false bubble-memory of Canaan House. Everyone except Harrow calls G1deon “Gideon,” but it’s badly-bleeped and replaced with “ORTUS.” G1deon makes a blatant attempt to kill Harrow during each of the live tasks.

Nona the Ninth is a found-footage film pieced together from Nona’s schoolmates’ attempts at an amateur version of Junior Taskmaster. Task filming is routinely interrupted by urban warfare. It’s not immediately apparent, but becomes clear over time that all the children assume Varun is the Taskmaster. Nona eats the wax seals off every task

God Ramón's conversation with q!Fit about q!Pac really shows how much Ramón is q!Fit's son.

As his only father, q!Fit has been Ramón's primary role model, and thus, due to q!Fit's own inability, neither of them seemed to really know how to navigate the strong emotions that they were experiencing, with q!Fit initially handling his feelings with denial and excuses, and Ramón handling his disappointment by resorting to bombs.

They both have such big feelings, and they both care for and trust each other enough that they can talk about those feelings, and actually resolve them. They bring out the best in each other and it's so comforting to see that.
