Last night's D&D session had so much fun stuff in it, including an interactive battle screen for the final fight --- which was designed specifically to look like an Octopath Traveler boss fight. This screen allowed me to keep track of my players' HP, AC, spell slots, the Lucky feat, and Ki points. It was such a blast to make. (ft. Alsike, which belongs to @snailienz and Caleb which belongs to @sarrycake and Fox, whom is my wife's creation!!) Bonus:

New girl just dropped I made her literally fifteen minutes ago

She's a shy but spirited little clover mite, and she wants to prove herself!!! Which is hard when she's small, cute, and everyone thinks she's some sort of dainty little softie. Which she sort of is. But ALSO, she likes to get her hands DIRTY! Machinery-wise especially! Nothing like finished putting something together to give you that warm, fuzzy feeling in your shell.

You should be mindful about what your chickens are eating in your pastures or backyard especially if your not familiar with pasture management. Lawn grass isn't very nutritious to chickens and can actually be dangerous if they consume to much of it.

If you are in the midwest and you free range I suggest a pasture mix like this. It's much more safe, nutritious and more drought resistant than your lawn. If you don't free range and are still interested in providing some sprouts for your chickens you can also use this to make sprouts or grow boxes in their run for them.

The ratio of seed is this

20% White Dutch Clover 20% Alsike Clover 20% Red Clover 15% Alfalfa 15% Field Pea 10% Common Flax

ST: SNW ramble and shipping update

I had seen clips and some pieces, but when I started shipping Christine/T'Pring (and reading Alsike’s / @nike-ravus fantastic fics), I had not properly watched Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

I have recently stated watching it and I am nearly through with both seasons.

And I really like it. In fact, this is the first Star Trek show that I've really enjoyed watching in a very long time.

I means it's not perfect and there were a few eps that I did not enjoy all that much, but overall, I am enjoying watching it. I still think they properly ruined the timelines and overall continuity across Star Trek shows, but if you take SNW as a standalone new Star Trek show, it really works and it captures the 'spirit' of Star Trek. And I think they managed to create a mostly episodic show that does have meaningful continuity across episodes.

And I like all the characters. Especially Christine and La'an

Result: In addition to Christine/T'Pring, I now also ship La'an/Una.

(Oh my, the AO3 ship tag is a mouthful: La'an Noonien-Singh/Number One | Una Chin-Riley and kind of a nightmare for search and tumblr tags)

Thus expect even more Star Trek femslash art and fic reblogs on my blog. And I will look for La'an/Una fics and if I find enough that I like (and IF I have time and energy) maybe I'l do a fic rec.
