I was once again thinking about this goofy Luffy moment after his Lucci punch™ and i had to see it frame by frame.

first the force of it throws them both away, and while Lucci is seen on screen tumbling for a long moment, Luffy is just away in a blink of an eye.

and then his funny scene - his legs are like jelly that he tries to get under control,

he stumbles, falls, rolls into a mix of all his limbs and eyes,

and then only the cloud behind him cushions his fall

- which would be interesting if he can subconsciously control that while he tries to regain the control over his movements - that the environment around him still adapts to his awakened Devil Fruit abilities and morphs to help him. Where others would probably fall through that cloud, for Luffy that cloud backs him up like a trampoline.

It's just fascinating!

Something really great about the persona 2 cast is that they all individually fucking SUCK to talk to casually. Every single one of them. They are all infuriating. We have:

Tatsuya, who will stare at you blankly if you try to initiate conversation (IS) and will dip without saying a word afterward (EP)

Batsuya, who will scoff and brush you off/otherwise act dismissive

Eikichi, who might honestly be the best to talk to in the IS crew and that is not saying much, who WILL talk extremely loudly over you (probably not on purpose?) and will not be paying particularly close attention to the conversation beyond whatever he wants to say (gets points for talking about his gf. gets points taken away for constantly talking about his gf)

Lisa, who will automatically assume bad faith and will be rude to you the entire conversation unless you manage to defuse her temper (good luck)

Jun, who is uncommunicative at BEST and requires an encyclopedic knowledge of flowers, metaphor and body language just to get a HINT on what he’s thinking, and who will be extremely polite but completely unhelpful. If you tried asking him what he wants for dinner I guarantee it will be the longest 30 minutes of your life as he goes “oh I have no opinion :) whatever you want. :))” EXCEPT HE DOES HAVE OPINIONS. He has SO MANY OPINIONS. He is Expecting you to be able to pick up on his “obvious” clues. He will be passive aggressive if you don’t. (Jun babygirl you suck so bad I love u)

Maya, who is a delight but will very quickly become grating if you try to talk to her about anything serious as she hits you with the white suburban mom's "how to live a happy, healthy life" lifecoach slogans. You can’t even mention, like, stepping in a puddle or something without her hitting you with the positivity beam.

Yukino is great actually. 10/10. She’s fabulous we love her. Incredible conversationalist, chill and fun and easy to get along with. But she’s from Persona One, she doesn’t Count.

Ulala, who WILL bring up her relationship problems in every conversation within 10 minutes at least once. Any longer and she will start talking about Maya.

Do I even need to explain Baofu. Have you seen him.

And finally, Katsuya, who is a cop and a kiss ass and Very Obvious about these things. Also he can't talk to women. He can barely talk to men. Help Him.

And yet they all work wonderfully as a group. They are so annoying I love them

Persona 1 & 2 are filled with the most annoying bitches alive #exaggeration obviously. not by that much tho #persona 2s cast in particular is very charming. when they're TOGETHER. Individually? Wellllll...#hmm something about p2s cast in particular feels less. gimmicky? I guess? than the newer persona games #which isn't to say that those casts are worse or that the p2 cast ISN'T gimmicky because they are #but idk. you kind of always know how Ryuji or Ken or Yukiko will react to a situation. but the p2 cast may surprise you #again: doesn't make any of the later casts bad! I absolutely adore them. That you can predict them is evidence of strong character writing!#The p2 cast just feels a little more fleshed out is all. probably because the lack of social links means they're able to progress #throughout the story and change without worrying about conflicting with a link yanno?#I love social links though I think they're a great edition!#They need their kinks ironed out a bit but Yosuke has already proved that they are absolutely capable of working hand in hand with the #development of characters in the story as well #and theyre still fun even when they don't impact the story. I like getting to know side #characters too! recent things and such~

#photo diary #image 1 - kind of interesting lacy looking clouds. Image 2 - pinky purple sunset stuff #image 3 - These REALLY cool flowers I saw in a field ? growing wild so like.. weeds I guess. but I like the color of them and how the #petals are small and layered. Image 4 & 5 - More recent hair growth progress. I still think it will never get much longer because #it's been basically the same lenght for multiple years now BUT I do feel like maybe it's getting like... just the tiniest bit longer?? Just #not as obvious of progress as the first few years. Like now if I take it out of the braids and actually hold it so it goes straight down th #very tips of the hair on one side goes down to the tip of my pointer finger. and on the other side goes a little past my thumb. and I #remember maybe last year or two years ago it was only to my knuckles or like midway down my thumb. so.. perhaps it's not reached a #maximum genetic possible length just YET as I'd thought it had maybe lol.. perhaps I could slowly gain a cenitmeter or two #here and there gjbjh.. Unfortunately incredibly doubtful it will ever be down to my knees though as I had wished. oh well.#image 6 - writing again... as always... Slowly chipping away... And looking for ways to make it go faster lol. The original premise was 8 #main characters with 6 quests for each. Then it was 5 with 6 quests. Now it's 4 with 4 quests each. And even that I'm like hmm... what #about having only 3... so it could be done faster... lol.. I think mostly just because I have no gaurantee of investment. So it's like #I could spend years and years doing 500.000+ words of writing and then have about 3 people total actually play the game and nobody cares #and nothing ever comes of it. You know? So I have to balance that somehow. And rather that put out the 100% complete version #be putting out like 'here's ENOUGH of it for you to see what the concept is and what it's like. and IF theres any investment then I #can put in the effort to finish the few bits that I left in more of a preview form'' type of thing. And then it's like.. well if I'm #limiting the initial scope anyway - how much is enough to cut away? and how much would be TOO much? etc. etc. I'm pretty sure I #already have it down to a balanced minimum but some days when I'm very stressed over my ability to actually finish anything I'm like..#ehhhh..maybe I could make another main character into a side character.. as a treat lol..#image 7 - cabbage noodle beef stir fry sort of thing. As usual I kind of cook the beef too long because I'm afraid of getting sick if it's #underdone despite preferring medium rare steak lol.. Funnily because usually making something at home has the advantage of you #being able to do it Exactly The Way You Like It whereas me cooking meat is often like.. ah yes.. the worse way that I dont even like. love #to make a tough chewy anxiously overcooked protein puck for myself. :3 Images 8 - 10 -- various plants from the deck. though #some of these pictures are old and they're no longer alive lol.. Most of my plants actually do live through the winter because I #painstakingly move them inside and outside and inside and outside depending on the temperatures. But sometimes.. one cannot #help but be lost. Especially the temperature change sometimes can make them more prone to mold and stuff. and humidity is #hard to control indoors. There's always one or two that deteriorate despite my best efforts. But that's better than every single one of the #dying because they alll freeze when it gets to 20F one night and I left them outside or something lol #ANYWAY.. hrm.. still working on friend quiz thing... and sculptures.. and videos maybe?? costumes... rghhhghhrrr.. (< to do list angst)

#so like #physical therapy and medical stuff has been cutting into my sleep for three weeks now #and yesterday we were up to like noon thirty cuz we had to talk to a lawyer #and a few days ago we asked her what the turkey day plans are #and she said dinner at 1pm. fucking one in the afternoon.#we've identified 1-3pm to her as the hardest times for us make cuz it's basically the middle of when we are sleeping #normally we try for ~9:30 am to be in bed or getting in #and up around 5 or 6 #and it's just #i know she's not doing it to single me out she's just an insane woman when it comes to her schedule #but it would have been nice if she ever made any effort to try make sure we could be included -_-#cuz this was an issue last few thanksgivings too #so she KNOWS about it #she can't not know about it #and idk #one of my sister's always got judgy about it cuz ~she works 60+ hours a week~#and i didn't show up on time to help cook cuz i needed a nap after work #and i KNOW she's gonna be a bitch about is not being at the gathering #though i don't think she'll contact me about it #and like #i would love to go honestly!#that's the kicker!#if it was at 4pm it something I'd absolutely go!#my sister's just moved so i won't get to see them often and i would like to visit with them #not to mention we could use a good free meal >.>#but like #fuck dude #we're already exhausted and we're kinda sick of having to meet my mom at a place that's unreasonable for us #so i guess it's Thanksgiving alone at my place of a bowl of chili with cheese and some potato salad #means we get stream at least

My cousin, a published writer, a well-known poet in my country and a literature professor, for whom I've always been no.1 support ever since her first attempts at writing in high school, told me that I must stop writing as a hobby because that's her thing and since I'm writing fantasy mostly my writing could never have any important artistic value anyways.

#what happened was that i was feeling really down these past few days #like mental health dead in mariana trench #and i went to visit her because she lives like 10 minutes away and has a cat i can play with #but yesterday morning a friend of mine made a fanart (i guess i can call it that) of a fanfic i am writing for the five of them #she sent it to me and said she's also working on an actual painting on a camvas of her fave scene from my original story #and i was so surprised and exicted #that's actually a too mild description #and when i was visitting my cousin i showed her the pic of the drawing on my phone and explained it to her and she just said ....ehh..#and started texting someone #i was sitting there feeling stupid and thinking wow you could have at least praised my friend's art sytle or something #and when i was getting ready to leave she asked me if i was aware my writing has no artistic merit and fantasy is trivial literature #so i should just stop wasting time on that and focus on developing my art style more for her future poetry collections #i do the art for her book covers #and added how we already have an established writer in the family so i should focus on my role - becoming a good pharmacist #and she knows how much i hate that i'm studying pharmacy like it's the no.1 cause of me hating the direction in which my life is going #finished it off by saying she feels like what she's doing in going to be really great and important on a large scale one day #and how she wants me to continue being her shadow that follows and supports her #i left went home and started at a wall for hours #i just feel so dumb for getting excited over a silly drawing of something not more than 5 people will ever read #i genuinely hate the idea of people reading anything i write so most likely writing will just remain a hobby for me #and now i feel like the most stupid person on earth and am this close to deleting all my word documents from both my laptops

#stars why tf did i have to be the leader for this week's study group #and why does 9.3 have a FORTY MINUTE LECTURE 😭#gonna watch as much as i can tomorrow before leaving (and MAYBE on bus) but when i get to class #i may just explain to my prof i had l i t e r a l l y no time this week to work on it #like fr. monday had to deal w new mattress. tried working on it at new apt but no wifi. went to library couldnt focus #cause cramps hit me like a truck + i had like. an hour. cause i had to work at 2 and leave at 1 to get there by bus #i worked 2pm-10pm. had to stay like 20-30 min later. went to sleep around 11:30 #and had to wake up at 5 to get to school. at which point i was exhauated then got a headache. and had to do readings for 2 class discussions #and THEN had to go get my weekly allergy shots. all while barely awake. and i got home and not only was i still exhausted #but i needed dinner and to shower. instantly went to bed after. had to get up at 5 again #and after class i had to go to po then home depot for boxes. and had to spend most of my day packing #CAUSE GUESS WHOS MOVING FRIDAY #dinner. and then 2 long assignments that were already late. plus review as much as i could of this week's asl content #this study group is gonna suck but i will give it my best go with how little time ive had to spare this week #amber's shit you can ignore
