Okay I'm listening to The Golden Enclave for the first time

And I am slightly angry at how much I like Alfie.

Alfie, who is privileged, but who, when given any opertunity steps up.

Alfie, who shared his special extra valuable shield spell with everyone because it was thier best chance of survival.

Alfie, who loves his family and will not accept his father death when he sees an alternative.

Alfie, who actively wingman his increasingly ambitious girlfriend, and would be happy to be happy to be "part of her set"

He isn't the hero of this story.....but he's a charecter who is activly choosing every day to not be a villian....

And I just like this kind of boring white dude who's trying his best....

I don't really share OG content anymore, but I could not withhold Beau from you. His full name is Reign Beau and he's a Cafe Zephyros Alphie. I originally gifted this little fella to a friend but when she was downsizing her collection I got him back. Suddenly I had an unplanned adorable alpaca in my house. Loving the rainbow llamas in the Sims 4, I decided to dye this lil guy all the colors of the rainbow. And so Reign Beau was born. I gave him a quick faceup today because tomorrow I'm going to a high tea on an alpaca farm and I want to bring him with me.

Everything was great. Until the last act. Then, all the contrivances come out to play. A great example of a movie that did everything right, except land the ending. Sigh.
