There’s no such thing as superhero movie fatigue. Niggas just want good movies. When the movies are good they get praised. When they’re disappointing everyone panics.

I don’t think people understand that this is the only genre in film where people swing the pendulum from elation to panic on a movie by movie basis. The discourse is exhausting. Y’all make every movie a life or death of the genre event.

They’re playing Godzilla (98) in the Pizza shop and I’ve a few thoughts

1. This is not a good movie except for every time Godzilla is on screen

2. Watching these humans just fire missiles in the middle of Manhattan and hit everything but Zilla is kind of wild

(Spoilers)

3. The decision by the writers to kill Zilla at the end of the movie is mind boggling

4. The classic trope of the Military/Authorities seeing a giant monster run through the city and then being in complete denial when a scientist say a nest full of Dino eggs could be underground, will never not be hilarious/frustrating. Why wouldn’t you believe that that’s possible?! 😂 Gotta move that plot forward 😂

Food thoughts:

You ever opt for the large of something and regret it? I got a large milkshake abba there’s no way I’m finishing this
