-I haven’t had a free day like this in ages and I guess I’ve decided to just spend the whole day watching races, so here I am- watching my fourth race of the day

-Lando first ever pole!

-Ohmygod Carlos p2?!

-Charles and Max both starting at the back because of penalties???

-How did Carlos even do that???? I thought Lando had it but he just swooped in

-Daniel!!!

-And Charles making up 7 places!!!

-It’s Hamilton vs Alonso again

-The slight delay of cheers in the Ferrari garage before they realize that Carlos is leading was so cute

-“But we’ve seen before this season, a Mercedes behind a McLaren is not necessarily the easiest overtake”

-George in the Williams leading a five car DRS train from p3- with a Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull

-Yess Max!! I thought he would be held back by Valterri for much longer.

-To CS: “Plan A plus 4”

-To DR: “Daniel, could be Plan B”

-Kimi Raikkonen in the AlphaRomeo, leading another DRS train- with Aston Martin, Ferrari, and Red Bull

-“Same move, same corner, place made up” Max is steadily going up>>

-He’s right behind Charles now and I haven’t seen them battle it out this whole season, so I’m intrigued

-Oh no! Charles went wide!

-“9 seconds the gap now between Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. 9 seconds and Max started p20 and Lewis started p3”

-Lando!!

-LN: “Got it”

-Lance undercut 👏

-Both Max and Charles getting past Sebastian one after the other

-Good pit stop call for Carlos

-“I think what Leclerc is trying to do is hold place behind Verstappen using the slip stream. There’s no use fighting the Red Bull.” I doubt any driver thinks like that. Especially not Charles.

-“I think Max Verstappen’s been to the Lewis Hamilton School of Acting. He did the fastest lap and then came on the radio to complain about his front left tire.” Haha

-“Mercedes in the pit lane! Mercedes in the pit lane” It was a bluffff

-And it worked because the pit stop for Daniel was slow

-MV: “I can’t turn the car”

-“Hamilton in the pits” For real this time

-“And the Red Bull is being serviced at the same time” Ooh good call

-To LH: “Lewis you can win this race”

-If he gets past Lando now, he’ll be net leader

-“What could totally throw this race into complete chaos is if started raining in about five laps time” Whyy would you bring that up??

-“Form is temporary, class is permanent and Daniel Ricciardo certainly has plenty of class”

-“This is hurting Verstappen” It is also hurting me

-Going from p20 to p7 is still good though

-10 laps to go

-This is effectively a two horse race now because Carlos is 30s behind the top two runners

-Aah Charles up behind Max again- they both have had pretty good stints

-Is the rain really going to cause that many problems? It’s not like it’s going to start off heavy immediately..?

-LN: “Spitting quite a bit”

I take it back- definitely causing problems then

-CS: “Be ready with inters”

-But there are only six laps left. Are we really risking track position by pitting??

-Ohmygod Lando almost lost the lead there

-Checo p3!!!

-Ohmygod that escalated very fast

-People are pitting

-Lando has gone off again

-Lewis pitting? A bluff again?!?

-Is Daniel pitting too?? Max and Carlos too!

-To LN: “A lot of rain in turn 10 and 11. A lot of cars have gone off”

LN: “Yeah, shut up!”

-Okay Lewis finally pitting

-Oh god, Lance almost brought in the safety car

-I still don’t get why so many teams gambled with such few laps left

-MV: “Heavy raining”

-Ohmygod that escalated escalated

-Max p3!!!!! Ohmygodd! I take everything back! Going on to the inters was the right call

-LN: “I wanna box”

-How did Checo and Charles lose so many places whilst Max gained

-That was such bad timing for Lando- after leading so many laps

-And he might get a penalty?? Bloody hell

-Max Verstappen gaining 18 places!!!

-“Well if it was damage limitation, this was net gain”

-Kimi p8, in points!!!!

-I am so so sad about Charles dropping down to p15! He gained so many places for whaattt

-Lewis Hamilton 100 race wins!!! “He reaches the checkered flag as a centurion!!”

-To MV: “Nicely done Max, p2, we’ll take that”

MV: “Woah Hoo! We’ll definitely take that!”

-Lewis double taking when Max pulled up to parc ferme

-Please let nothing bad happen to Max in this race cause I can’t keep doing that to myself

-First time racing in Mugello, pretty cool

-“Kimi Raikkonen who partners his old teammate, Sebastian Vettel” I need to watch a race where they’re teammates again

-Love when teammates qualify next to each other, makes things super fun and also they look super cool when weaving during the formation lap

-“Max Verstappen who’s had a few little issues” Shut up, I will kms

-Oh wow just noticed the Ferrari livery, very pretty (although it is a little jarring to not see the bright red)

-Oh hell no- I’m not doing this to myself. I’m coming back to this later

-Not only have the cars decided to quit this race, the pit crew seems to have as well because at least three teams now have had slower stops than usual
