Jake’s only reply was nonverbal, a smile that was bright, and then he was yanked from the house. He had followed Steve down to the motorcycle parked at the end of the drive, chirping under his breath from the moment Steve placed a helmet on his head to the moment Steve made Jake wrap his arms around his waist.

“Hold on, pup.” Steve knew exactly what he was doing to Jake, he knew what affect he was having on him, and had only aided that breathlessness with a humming baritone exchange to meet Jake’s chirps.

“So where are we going?” Jake raised his voice to be heard over the rumble of the engine, receiving a short answer in reply.

“The art centre.”

The ride was shorter than Jake anticipated, it felt like he had blinked and they were in the parking lot of the art centre with no real idea what they were doing, and yet as Steve had helped Jake off the motorcycle a woman had come scurrying from the building.

“Jake and Steve, right?” Her smile was bright, lips stained a deep orange that matched the colour of her midi-length dress, the fabric of which was stretched tightly over her baby belly.

“Our omega arranged this,” Steve slipped his hand into the back pocket of Jake’s jeans, giving his ass a squeeze while retaining his cool composure.

“Making pottery, Y/N told me you’re both very experienced with your hands.” The innuendo of the statement wasn’t commented on, though Jake’s grin had becoming knowingly boyish and Steve had cracked a bashful smirk.

“You’re sharing a pottery wheel,” Rachelle glanced back at the two of them, her shoulder rolling gently as if to ease her muscles, “Anna’s waiting for you through the door. I’m about to head out, but take all the time you need.”

“Dirty hands,” Jake turned sharply and kept a nary inch between himself and Steve, “shame it has to stop there-”

Hi! Despite the updates that tumblr’s put out I’m still having issues with my ask box. I promise I’m not ignoring anyone who sends me an ask, it either hasn’t come through at all or when I try to answer it Tumblr glitches and it doesn’t post/deletes when I go back to it
