Catrín Sans

Entonces, regresé al fandom de Undertale y decidí hacer mi propio Sans; su nombre es "Catrín Sans" y está directamente basado en el Día de Muertos de la cultura de mi país; México.

Cómo su nombre lo dice, es un Catrín, una figura relacionada con la muerte (Una versión masculina de la conocida "Catrina").

Su universo "FallecidoTale" se centrará principalmente en el Día de Muertos y la vida después de la muerte así como mostrar distintas partes de la cultura mexicana atravez de los años.

Espero pronto tener su ficha lista, así como los diseños de los demás personajes, hasta entonces les dejaré con este dibujo.

So I came back to the Undertale fandom and decided to make my own Sans; his name is "Catrín Sans" and he is directly based on the Día de Muertos (Day of the Death) from the culture of my country; Mexico.

As its name suggests, he is a Catrín, a figure related to death (a male version of the well-known "Catrina").

His universe "FallecidoTale" will focus primarily on the Día de Muertos and life after death, as well as show different parts of Mexican culture throughout the years.

I hope to have his file ready soon, as well as the designs of the other characters, until then I will leave you with this drawing.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Have a look around~ Goodness, I spent 5 DAYS working on this one... but it was worth it! I watched one of my friends stream this game, and can definitely say it's technically awaken some of my personal enjoyment of puppets and spooks xD I won't spoil it, but I'll remark that it's hard to find media that's capable of mixing both silly and unsettling without one overshadowing the other - there's a nice dose of goofy energy, but also weight (and some chills) in the story and worldbuilding, and it all wraps up in a surprisingly solid way! Besides, it's got quite a lot of charm too ^^

For some reason I returned to the Undertale fandom in the middle of 2024 and then I was thinking a lot about the Vampireverse Au and at some point my brain told me:

"Can you imagine a plot where Jasper is not the son of Calamimi but rather of a Vampire named Gomme to whom Fallacy was married when he was young but he was killed by the hunters and then reincarnated in Encre?"

And I was like: What a good idea you had brain, I need to write and draw this.

So here it is

I imagine their relationship being the same as Victor and Victoria from "Corpse Bride", that's why I l because I drew them based on a screenshot of the movie.

Basically an arranged marriage where the members really fell in love with their partner.

I've been trying to write the story but but I tend to stop and change everything because there's a lot to develop and it's a little complicated to make it work but uh, I hope to do it soon.

I guess I should also mention that Gomme is basically Eraser Sans version Vampireverse.

I think that's it, I guess, I don't know what else I should say about this.
