Chp. 1

SUMMARY: Learn how Alora’s parents met, and how they came to the conclusion she was Jedi. This is such a half assed summary but i promise it’s good.

Indeed, Alora was special. Isla, her mother, could tell from the start. Small, soft kicks in her stomach in the beginning of her pregnancy. Vivid dreams, rocks and random objects floating around her crib at night. These things were peculiar for such a young girl. Isla knew that her daughter had a chance of harnessing the Force. Her husband, Kaizen Ma’lak was a Jedi himself. Well, he was a Jedi. He had left the Order before meeting Isla on Naboo whilst trying to stay undercover.

Isla, a gorgeous woman who had just bought her own floral shop, had been raised in a household full of light and the smell of fresh fruit. Her smile white as the waterfalls in the lake country, voice as smooth as the finest silk. Eyes green and hair black as the darkest night.

Kaizen was scruffy looking and always had his guard up. The Jedi Order had not done much to help with his emotional outbursts. He had the potential to become a great Jedi, but he never saw this in himself. So, he left before getting the chance to achieve the rank of Master. Blue, wide eyes that seemed to glance everywhere in every moment. He seemed…shy, almost. When he first met Isla that’s definitely how it felt.

The beautiful woman that stood assorting fresh wildflowers was unaware of the former Jedi standing at the entrance of the shop. The aroma of the petals flowed throughout the room and gently caressed the man’s cheek. Humming a small tune, Isla turned to see the messy haired man looking at her.

“May I help you?” she asked, making her way behind the small counter where a pouch for credits sat.

Kaizen, caught off guard, quickly flushed a light pink and cleared his throat.

“Eh, n-no thank you.” He quickly looked away from the piercing green gaze that bore into his. As he glanced about the shop, reds, purples, blues and yellows seemed to pop out here and there.

“Perhaps I'll take this one,” Kaizen said, reaching for a simple red rose. A thorn bit at his pinky and his eyes narrowed.

Damned thing. What am I doing here? This is pointless-

“That'll be 10 credits,” Isla said, making her way to the man’s side, but still keeping a slight distance. Those blue eyes looked at her and she felt her heart rate beat quicken. Mysterious this man was, yet, she didn’t feel in danger.

“10 credits? For one flower?” Kaizen questioned in disbelief.

How could something that will wilt away in a few days time be so expensive?

“Yes, 10 credits. Is that the one you’d like?” Isla watched as the man nodded, hesitantly handing her the correct amount of money.

Now, this interaction was not the best first impression for Kaizen, but as time went on the former Jedi saw more of that beautiful girl. He was always drawn to the floral shop. The scents, the flowers seemed to call to him. Though it sounded odd, Kaizen felt like the Force had led him to Naboo—to Isla, for a reason. He began to see her outside of her work, walking together along trails out in the hills on the summer evenings. They would talk for hours on end, about their past, but also their futures. They had both grown up in very different circumstances, but still managed to relate to each other. Kaizen eventually got a job as a mechanic for starships at the main port, making enough to get his own apartment in the central part of Naboo.

One thing led to another, nights spent at each other's homes, passionate moments, and eventually…Isla became pregnant. Kaizen wasn’t furious, he was terrified. A little version of them? How was he going to handle this? What if this child was to harness the Force? So many questions, and so little answers.

When Islas parents had heard of the news, they immediately went cold towards Kaizen. He understood their anger. Why weren’t they more careful? They knew better…and now they were frantically preparing for the new baby that would soon arrive.

Isla stood in the main room of her parents home as the sun set, a small breeze drifting through the lace curtained windows. Just as she was going to leave, her fathers voice stopped her.

“You’re leaving.” He states more than questions, having already seen the suitcase at her feet. Her father was a tall man, with a beard always freshly groomed. Gray had seeped its way into his facial hair. Ice blue eyes glanced at the window and then to Isla.

“Yes, father,” Isla replied, reaching for the bag and straightening. She absentmindedly rested a hand on her abdomen where a small baby bump was beginning to appear. The father, Deoan, silently signed. He was losing his only daughter to a man who could barely provide for himself.

“Do you love him? Truly? I could not bear to see you heartbroken, Isla. This child…could bring you two together or tear you apart,” Deoan walked to his daughters side, gently taking the bag from her hands. As he did so, a tear slipped down Islas cheek, landing on the plush red carpet beneath them.

“I do truly love him, father. And I know you find that hard to believe, but please understand that he will do his best to care for me and the baby. But…we are thinking of moving to Coruscant. Kaizen will have better luck with finding a better job and a new place for me and the baby. I…I'll visit, I promise.”

Deoan looked to his daughter, nodding and keeping his gaze on her youthful eyes. Soon, all of her time would be consumed by the baby. Her body would change in ways not expected, stretching and swelling. She would always be beautiful though, inside and out. She would be his daughter, and that was more than enough.

Alora was safely delivered, one of the smoothest and quickest labors you could think of. Isla quickly bounced back and spent every breathing moment with her baby. Kaizen seemed to be in shock at first, as expected, but was eventually tossing Alora up into the air and bouncing her on his thigh as she dozed and burped. He could sense her Force signature, steady and warm. It almost scared him how bold her signature was. He had only felt one this strong with fellow Padawans and Masters, not younglings or an infant like his baby girl.

“Isla just listen to me-” Kaizen whispered to his wife who was folding and picking up stray baby toys on the small couch after Alora was in bed one night.

“No. I will not listen to any more of what you have to say. You're crazy- no you're insane,” She tossed the toys into a little bin and narrowed her eyes to Kaizen.

“She would be safe. She would learn how to harness her power, if she stays with us she'll be an outsider. Alora could never learn her true potential-”

“Kai. Enough. I will not hand her over to the Jedi, not while she is so young,”

“If we don't take her now, the Order won't take her at all. She needs to start her training early, its now or never,”

Isla hesitated, her little girl was only a year old. So young, she probably wouldn't even remember her face.

“Are you sure? Is this really the best for her? I mean…you…you left, how do you know she wont do the same?”

Kaizen flinched slightly at the words even though they held no venom. He looked to his lover and gently embraced her, burying his nose in her hair.

“She will be a great Jedi, Isla. I just know it. The Force works in mysterious ways, it brought me to you, and let us have this child. And now she holds this great power that only the Jedi can teach her how to control. Please…believe me. The Order will become her new family, and she will be extraordinary.”

⚡︎ On the 20th of Famerule, Alora Lightcrown, high-elf, was born in a druids grove in the High Forest, Moonlight Haven. The night Alora was born, the deity of nature, Silvanus, conjured a beautiful, majestic, yet powerful storm that covered the entirety of the High Forest. A lightning strike Silvanus imbued with powerful arcana, came down onto Alora the moment she was born, gifting her intense, unparalleled, storm sorcery powers. Silvanus blessed Alora with these gifts, knowing they would be in good hands, knowing she would use these powers to continue maintaining balance and to be a guiding light for many. When Alora was born, her parents and fellow druids noticed right away her powers were extremely unique from theirs.

Alora grew up alongside her druid mother, Aislinn, and her archdruid father, Morphus Lightcrown. Morphus was an extremely powerful archdruid, respected by many. He has a very unique gift given to him by Silvanus, a gift needing to be used with the utmost care: the gift of foresight; to see into the future. Morphus was blessed with this gift to provide guidance to those that needed it. Her father, knowing her destiny that she will be greatly needed, a light for many, gently guided and watched over her.

During her childhood, her parents witnessed how potent Alora’s power was. Alora spent 80 years, most her her elven youth, growing up with her parents and druid family. She was raised in the ways and teaching of the druids, which grounded her, and made her want to use her powers for good and to aid come naturally. Unlike most mages, who typically crave power and status. Anytime a threat got too close to her home for her liking, she would easily decimate all of them, and naturally developed an instinct and want to protect and defend.

A few days before Alora’s 80th birthday, her parents and her agreed that it would be best for Alora to develop her talents outside the grove, and while she was still young in her elven years. As talented as her parents and family at the grove were, none of them had the knowledge or insight to truly help Alora hone in on her powers. Her father, knowing how needed Alora would be, encouraged her this was the right path, without revealing too much of her destiny. She set off to Silverymoon the day after her 80th birthday to seek mentorship.

She found mentorship under an archmage, Zephyr “Surge” Thunderwind, another storm sorcerer, and lived in his mansion in the Northbank of Silverymoon with four other sorceress’s who have been under his mentorship for sometime now. Surge was a well known archmage, with his history and talents being recorded amongst wizards and scholars. He was respected. Being a storm sorcerer, Surge claimed that he would be Alora’s best, and only choice for mentorship, fully understanding her powers. Surge had strict rules, Alora quickly learned from the other sorceress’s that they were not allowed into any magical good shops without Surge’s explicit permission, repeated Surge’s viewpoint that the mage college’s don’t teach magic the way Surge does, and that his way of teaching is the best way, and that the college’s spew conflicting and inaccurate information about spell and magic use. Thus, putting Surge and his teachings on a pedestal. Surge also monitored their whereabouts, money use, and they all had curfews. The sorceress’s also shared that Surge took them in when they were in a mentally vulnerable state, praised him, and felt like owed him their life for taking them in. Surge maintained and pushed the belief that power should be respected, and the more powerful can freely look down upon the weaker. Knowing Alora’s natural talents and abilities, pushed that she should be careful with who she conversates with, that not everyone should have the privilege of knowing her or her lending her power for just anything. He very often praised her, even in front of her sorceress sisters, telling them that they would never amount to the power Alora naturally had, even if they tried.

Alora stayed in Silverymoon from the age of 80-120, continuing to develop her powers. She would every now and then visit her family at the grove, still feeling like her grove was truly her home.

Eventually, Alora got noticed by Silverymoon’s Spellguard after a random attack on the outskirts of Silverymoon. When normally mages would volunteer their services for the Spellguard, they requested Alora to join them, and that with her talents, she would give them the edge they needed with the ever-growing dangerous activity surrounding Silverymoon. She made an agreement that she would offer her aid when requested (which was more often than not), so she can maintain her independence and not be sworn to duty as an official member. This is where she developed a lot of her combat, cunning, deception, and, especially, her persuasion talents. She was a natural-born leader. The guard noticed that she was specially talented and proficient in rescue missions. She lead her groups on missions, and never failed. Having the utmost confidence in her abilities, they even started sending her on rescue missions in Menzoberranzan, an extremely dangerous place for surface elves, saving many other surface elves that were captured and enslaved there.

During her time in Silverymoon, and while she was aiding the Spellguard, Alora started becoming suspicious of Surge and his intentions. One day, after many traumatic events that coursed over the passed 40 years, her sisters could not take it anymore, and revealed that Surge abused all of them. He broke their spirits, which hindered the potency of their powers. Some of them, at this point, struggled to conjure the simplest level 2 spells. They also revealed one of Surge’s punishments was that he would use a device to drain their arcana, which then transferred the arcana to him. Suspecting that he is not as naturally talented as he claims, and that the only reason he is as powerful as he is, is because he drains their arcana from them. One of the sorceress’s, the one who has been training under him the longest, overheard Surge talking to one of his followers, people who praised and looked up to Surge, and wanted him to maintain the title of being the most powerful storm sorcerer, that his intentions for Alora was not to truly help her. Deep down, Surge knew Alora was more talented, and could easily become more power than he, yet never wanted her to truly know or admit to that fact. His intentions was to persuade her to stay by his side, in hopes that she would willingly share her power with him, becoming the most powerful storm sorcerers - together. However, in the event Alora refused, he simply planned to mind dominate her, and drain her powers until she became nothing but a husk, killing her.

Alora did some digging, and found a secret hatch under the mansion, finding many of Surge’s journals and communications. These entries revealed many things that had happened over the course of the years, realizing Surge was doing everything in his power to isolate Alora, killing off anyone who became close to her. One of the entries revealed he was behind the ambush that attacked her grove, killing both of her parents at age 107. Hoping that would cut off her link to the grove, keeping Alora at the mansion forever, hoping to break her spirit just enough to make her feel there was nowhere else to go.

In a pit of anger, Alora confronted Surge. After much fighting, Alora killed Surge in self-defence.

Free from Surge, the mansion was turned over to her sorceress sister, the one that had been there the longest. Alora helped train her sisters, and they gained back more than the power they had before. Alora decided she didn’t feel drawn to stay at Silverymoon anymore, with the dark cloud of Surge and the memories lingering over the city. She would visit her sisters and aid the Spellguard when requested, but she decided to stay and linger in the forests. Adventuring to cities, aiding anyone or anything that needed her, while beginning her healing journey, digesting everything that has happened to her.

She lingered until the age of 142, when she sensed an evil presence radiating from Baldur’s Gate. She flew there a handful of times, witnessing the refugee problem, cruelties, and evils festering from within. She provided what aid she could, until a nautiloid came over the city and captured her.

🩵Old vs New💙 Design

🩵I finally got to draw the old beloved design🥹

🩵I made a lot of changes with Alora Luna's design. I simplified her to make her characteristics a bit more realistic. The old design kind of focused more into aesthetics and she was just overall confusing cause there's too many things going on with her from her clothes, traits, skills, and even with her backstory. I love the new design better because it's more focused on the narrative and I did my best to make her a bit more realistic. I'll make a post of her new official design soon (I already made the drawing but it needed some tweaks).

💙 Basically her new description is that she's intelligent, meticulous, and very perceptive or observant. She's big on academics but she secretly has a passion for creative writing. Her dad owns a restaurant in the city (the year is 1950s), where she gladly helps him along with her 3 brothers.

💙✨Her new design is flexible. She can both be a part of the Encanto universe, but she can also stand on her own with her own story.✨

💙 The changes on her appearance by the way is that I pushed the contrast between her and Camilo.

Yet even without Camilo, she can still stand on her own cause I loved her new design the way it is and it's staying that way. The wardrobe will maybe have a few variations.

Soulanna was born in 1949, her birthday is on March 17, she is 63 years old, she has been married to stanley for 40ish years, her maiden name is Johnson , she is a cosmetologist she does hair and nails and other things, she has the most popular salon in the town of gravity Falls, in fact her salon was a gift for her and stanleys 30th anniversary. (she did in-fact cry, he knew she would love it and the fact that he was getting tired of the towns people coming to his(brothers) home so he got her something in town, she does work at the shack sometimes as Mrs. Mystery.

soulanna was born in detroit, MI but moved to Las Vegas when she was 13 with her mother corrina sonja johnson, an African-American woman from Chicago, Illinois and her father, kurtis Lamar johnson an African-American man from detroit,MI. her mother was a outstanding teacher and her father was a maifa man and a great gambler (hence why they moved to vegas) she also has three siblings one older sister one younger brother and another younger sister so she is the middle child. anyway her fav colors are green, and pastel pink, she is heavily inspired fashion wise by artist like Cleo soul, Britney Spears , the spice girls , donna summer and more. two songs to describe her would be

Soulanna met Stanley when she was 23 at a party and after some dates they started dating, she never really knew his living situation but she knew of his past as he came undone one night in her apartment after a few months they had been dating (he says that’s when he knew she turned him “into a sap”) about a year into the relationship, she got pregnant, they became homeless and living in a car on the run all in 2 months. they decided to have a shotgun wedding before leaving Las Vegas, they chose to leave the baby (a girl) in front of a children’s home with a locket to remember them by.

Anyway- once the stuff with ford happened and they get settled she decided that she didn't want to just work in the shack with stan (which they had a argument about bc he’s protective of her and doesn’t know the town well enough to want her to work or go anywhere else) but he realizes that he was in the wrong (and she had to cuss his ass out), they did get their baby back (because they couldn’t bare the fact they had to give her up) when she was 7 years old her name is ma’niayh alora pines and in present time (2012) she is in her late 30s/early 40s? and lives in a town over

As you may know, I’ve been writing a story known as Hidden Beneath. It’s gotten very little traction so far (which is to be expected), so I’m going to host an art contest in hopes that it can get a little more attention!

And even if this contest doesn’t get a lot of attention either…well, that means that any competitors will have an even higher chance of winning :)

I will have three categories, with a designated winner(s) and prize for each one!

General (2 WINNERS) (PRIZE: Fully-Shaded Bust Shot)

I will choose two winners for this category! This is the basic category, where I’ll choose the art pieces that are artistically my favorite- whether it’s your artstyle, shading, posing, etc!

Storytelling (PRIZE: Fully-Shaded Fullbody)

This is the category for pieces that display specific scenes, moments, or relationships between characters! An animatic or animation would fall under this category too!

NOTE: AN ENTRY HERE SHOULD INCLUDE TWO OR MORE CHARACTERS!

This can be two characters talking, a demonstration of the relationship between two characters, a scene with two or more characters, or a comic that retells a scene from the book!

(The two art pieces below would be examples of things that would qualify for the minimum in this category! They are by Kanpekii and Alora respectively!)

You may be wondering... "What is Lemniscus? Why do you keep mentioning it in your posts?"

TO BEGIN WITH, Lemniscus is one of the planets in this universe with Ribbaniuns the living beings in it! The population of Lemniscus consist the various anthropomorphic animals.

And thats where we begin sharing the story and contents of these characters by the name LEMNISCUS! You could say Lemniscus is a series/project my friends and i worked on together!!! (We took Lemniscus bc we literally only focus on this planet... No else.)

Ah... So then, "Who are the characters? Why do they look like the characters from Sonic series?"

THIS. is a good one to explain and i reallly want you guys to keep in mind with this!!!!

Yes! The Lemniscus cast does look like the characters from Sonic the hedgehog because they do take the design and traits inspiration from them! BUT! The personality, backstories, interractions, lores, all of those... We worked and develop on it ourselves!!! (Theres similiarities still, but its only SLIGHT!!! Theres some differences when compared)

Thats why this is NOT counted as Sonic au, instead, its their own universe and story! The Lemniscus cast are original characters/ocs based on existing character that later we develop so they wont look EXACTLY like the existing char they took inspiration of!

I could say that this universe's origins of making is basically 'based on Sonic'. Throughout time, there are improvisasion little by little as we worked on building chars and stories, making it their own thing :D!! So, again, Lemniscus and Sonic are two different thing... I appreciate yall's understanding. I dont want any miscommunication between Lemniscus and Sonic franchise! <"3

looked thru my old characters again and now im wondering whod wanna rp with them, so im gonna pick a few out and give brief backstories

YOUNG INDUSTRIES (A former rp I did)

Description: Evil guy Seth kidnaps innocents and experiments on them, no one could ever escape.

Lets start with the characters from the Abyss, the Abyss was where the inmates who angered Seth/were dangerous were. there was the upper and lower parts of the Abyss, ill specify what each character was.

Oliver (Green eyed) and Alvirum (demonic). Oliver was to be a sacrifice, but ended up possessed by a young demon, and their souls were bonded. Oliver is mostly in control, although when threatened Alvirun takes over. Olivers mostly sweet but Alviruns mocking. They count as 11. Upper levels of the abyss.

Annie. hahaha fucking shit was she hot- Shes some sort of angelic type being, crossed with a siren. Shes a fucking jerk. I love her. Upper levels.

I loved Rax but he didnt go well with the industries. Condescending but flirty vampiric asshole. he has minor hypnotic powers, too. He got put into the upper abyss for pissing Seth off

Skylar!!! The darling was so sweet, I love him. Some sort of siren, but he was cursed by a cousin to only be able to speak the truth and the whole truth. hes also a sorcerer and knows quite a bit of magic. He probably insulted Seth and got sent down

Alyce. Early version of Faye, part demon part human, hangs out with some other dude i forgot the name of... wait nevermind its Haydyn!! she was a killer before being captured and shes rlly bright and bubbly

Celestia. Some kind of human mixed with an eldritch abomination. she cries constantly. shes grey and black and white. tragedy. her voice sounds like multiple people talking on top of each other.

Tethys. Already got an account for her. Sweet little cow girl with abandonment issues. Shes currently staying at @monsterfucker-research-wizards place.

Xander (red) and Shane (blue). Pair of brothers, Xanders the responsible one, Shane is the eternally horny masochist one, twin vampires looking for their baby sister, Evelyn.

Evelyn, 16. Technically from the abyss, but that was just to keep her secret. Been locked in a room all by herself for 10 years. Shes sweet.

Anya, some sort of deer-elf thing. Shes sweet. very shy and helpful, i love her....

Cecilia and May are... god knows what. some kind of immortal being, teleporting around with a sanctuary for the broken, known as the library. Alora was the first one who escaped from the Young Industries and is VERY traumatised, also shy.

first post hehe (12.24.24) OC post! (GENSHIN OC) introduction!!

His names Feil Alora Saverenotte, his age is 2900+! He used to be an archon until he sacrificed his status of being an archon to heal his country as it was getting corrupted, because of that, he lost his status of being one but he has no regrets of the choice he made (◍•ᴗ•◍)

He's a really nice person and very friendly too! He won't judge but will listen(≡^∇^≡)

Backstory

He was an elemental being (just like Venti) , and a mindset of a child (6-8), his human form also had the form of a child.

During his adventures as a elemental being with a child-like mindset, he wandered everywhere he wanted. Until, he transformed into his human form. Due to it being new to him, he didn't know how to turn back and struggled doing so, he tried walking but failed, though, he knew how to crawl. During his crawling adventure, he met an old man who lived alone (his granddaughter died just 2 months ago), the old man noticed him and immediately approached Feil. He noticed that no one was there for the child he spotted and took him in without a second thought. He raised him like he was his own biological family member, until, when Feil reached the age of 13 (his human form), the old man died of old age and the affects of an unknown disease. He died infront of Feil. Feil, not knowing what he felt, developed something inside him, it was another version of him, but someone that's the opposite of him, he didn't know what it was but decided to focus on what was going on first. After the old man's funeral, that's when he met Giel, another version of him (clone?), someone he would only encounter if he was asleep. He didn't want to be alone, so he slept and slept just so he can be with Giel, despite being opposites, they still accepted eachother.

What happened now after Feil grew up

His nation rised, it was hidden from teyvat (underground) due to some reasons. It used to be a private nation that was hidden and was used as a fairytale for kids as it's considered 'paradise' in the said tale.

Since Feil is no longer an archon, Giel (who grew alongside him), gotten his own body and face, making the two have separated bodies now. But, that doesn't separate them. They see eachother as sibilings and love eachother as if they actually are.

My list so far is this:

Shinku - He's already shaping up to be a very good protagonist. I like his Ultimate Talent (as a writer myself) and his interactions and reactions are really engaging. Much like Makoto or Shuichi, he's rather self-concentrated and has a timid side to him, but unlike them, he's privy to the utter bullshit some of his classmates do in the moment, and he doesn't just let it slide. Though he acknowledges he speaks out of turn, he steps up and calls them out on it. And as strange as it sounds, I can already see the game leading to a moment where he is just gonna snap and fly off the handle, and I am PRAYING for it.

Dracul - I understand why Dracul died so soon, but I also wish he didn't. He was genuinely super cool and fun and I really hope Antebellum gets a school mode-esque minigame where we can get to know him a lot better. Especially since he and Shinku may or may not have a romantic connection, or HAD a romantic connection before anything else. His death left me incredibly bitter, especially when you discover Maiko's reasoning for it, as well as what she actually did to him, but I accept in the end that was the point.

Ismene - Might need to go a little further in with Ismene before I consider her top-tier, but so far she's pretty good. I'm eagerly awaiting to see how the story progresses with her and the conflict surrounding her.

Mononeko - I'm gonna get the mascot out of the way just before anything else, but Mononeko is kind of bland because he isn't any different from Monokuma. I suppose there's a limit to how much you can change the mascot character, but it's been done before with the likes of Kokorosaru (Kill/Cure) and Kou (Heartless Deceit) and I kind of wish there was a LITTLE more difference.

Maiko - I think I've made my opinion on her pretty clear at this point. As a person, I think she's absolutely detestable, and at the risk of sounding hypocritical with me being the creator of Kuripa, her whole vigilante thing took her down a very dark path and she evidently lost her mind a long time ago, and even her tragic backstory surrounding her whore of a mother doesn't excuse what she's done. That said, I have to bump her up a few tiers because the writing of her is very very good. They paint her in a sympathetic light, but not in a bright enough one that you can forgive her for what she did. After all, her primary motive for cutting open Draculs intestines and sticking him onto a giant cake was 1) Because he admitted to SHOPLIFTING as a kid, and 2) because her lead role as the character Melody Pretty; a character she became so obsessed with and who she found so much salvation with, that she started to believe she was the character in real life; was at risk of being replaced by someone else if she didn't kill someone.

Alora - She is INCREDIBLY boring. There is effectively NOTHING to her, at least not at the moment. I'm sure my opinion of her will change if she ends up getting better character moments later down the line, but I'm not really about characters who literally have one expression

Taka - The more I see of Taka, the more he grows on me. I do find it a little unfair that everyone was giving him shit at the end of trial 1. Yes, ok, tampering with crime scenes for a reason like wanting to be exciting is the ramblings of a crazy person, but instead of being in a situation like Kokichi or Nagito where they're doing it for the sake of complicating the case and making things difficult for everyone else, Taka doesn't seem to completely realize the complications of his actions until they're brought to light. Also, I was able to see his lego brick rant at the beginning of Chapter 2 and that was very funny. I think he's pretty solid so far.

Asuga - This is another character who I think I need to spend more time with before I actually formulate a real opinion on her. She's cute and funny and I do like her so far, but I haven't been given many reasons to LOVE her yet.

Eiichi - Eiichi is cool! I don't quite know what I was expecting from someone with the title of Ultimate Gacha Player, but I like how he's handled. People who play that kind of game typically get a bad rep, to which I like how he's not represented as some gross gamer trash, a la Hifumi. No, he's a genuinely nice guy who just wants to lend a hand, and I appreciate him for that.

Takiko - As much as I hate the Ultimate Sister talents in these games of fangames (like the Sada twins from Hope Restoration) Takiko is pretty nice. It is a very interesting concept having a child in a Killing Game where everyone else is adults, but also having that child NOT be a prodigy and just being a normal clueless kid who doesn't understand the concept of death. I think it's very creative and I'm here for it.

Yui - I have absolutely no idea why, but I DON'T FUCKING LIKE HER. Something about her really rubs me the wrong way, like she doesn't take any horrific thing that happens in the game seriously. And not even in the same way Ibuki does! Ibuki at least REACTED to the deaths and participated in the class trial as best she could! But for some reason, Yui seems weirdly at ease with everything bad that happens and makes me incredibly sus of her. I remember how post Dracul's death, she was complaining about her party was ruined, and Shinku tells her "Somebody is dead and you're upset about how your party, which was an obvious set up for someone to be killed, was ruined!? That's fucked up!" And I just thought "...YEAH! Yeah that IS fucked up!" Because I'm just so used to Kodaka's writing I don't give lines like that a second thought, but I'm not sure what it is, I'm getting MAJOR Kanade vibes from Yui.

Lyra - Lyra is my favourite character in the game as of this point. While I do think she might have ties to the deeper conflict of the game, at least she's an interesting and funny character that really gets me engaged with this game. Her dialogue is pretty golden at times and I just like her personality overall. She's cool, cute, funny, entertaining, and so many other great things all at once.

Emilia - Emilia hasn't given me many reasons to like her so far, but I don't DISLIKE her either. I will give her credit for at least being self-aware that she's kind of a bad person, and I can see she's trying to better herself. But until she's actually able to do that, she remains on the latter end of my ranking.

Mint - I think he's pretty nice. I do get the feeling he might snap at one point because everybody bullies him, but he's cute and I like him. I want the best for him and he's a precious bean. (Also lowkey loved seeing him in a dress)

Kotaro - Same case really. I do find it sad how the fact that he bribed his way into good education is never really dropped, despite the fact that Ismene and Mint's crimes revealed at the same time are definitely a lot worse. And I know there's got to be more of the story (I haven't done his FTE's by the way) because he IS genuinely a smart kid who knows a lot, so I know he deserves his Ultimate Talent. My guess is it may have something to do with family or health circumstances that stopped him from going to school; which I can relate to because that's a position I was in for a time during my early uni days. While I wouldn't go as far as to call him a fav, I still like him a lot.

Kiyoshi - I don't like him, but I don't think I'm supposed to. On top of him being an arrogant jerk, I had my suspicions about him being this creepy weirdo behind the scenes, and it turns out I was right about those. Not only with his crime reveal, but also the fact that he stalked Alora and Ismene, as well as the fact that he isn't even remotely apologetic about kidnapping girls, then blackmailing them into silence. But again, I don't like Kiyoshi, but with the way his character is set up, I think that's the point. You're not SUPPOSED to like this dude.

Rei - Last of all, I like Rei for the same reasons I like Lyra. I also like the fact that he’s this little stirrer of chaos, seeing Shinku step up and be like “Hm, yes, how far can I take this?” And I feel like as a character and with his talent, he has a lot of potential later down the line.

and honestly knowing halsin and how much he dedicates himself to whatever he is researching, he probably eventually finds something to at least prolong your life, even if it’s just a little bit.

but also something i’ve thought about when thinking about Alora and her backstory, living in their sanctuary is honestly the best possible thing for her. their lifestyle at that point is so lowkey, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me that she (or any tav for that matter) lives longer just based off of that. not to mention halsin being the best caretaker in the history of ever

He would be a mess. But he wouldn’t show it until the very end. He’d be there for you taking care of you until the very end and he’d only let himself truly break down after you’re gone, not wanting your final moments to be full of grief for him.

My first OC is Alora

So Alora started off from a fanfic I wrote in high school where she was taken at a young age and trained under Shao Kahn to be an assassin. Kano had tasked her with a job of getting Kabal back into BD but you know shit happens and she’s like hm maybe I do not want to lmao. This was all based in mk9 bc that was the first game I played in the series lol.

In this update she is currently 29 years old and is a part of the Black Dragon. She ended up there after some bullhokey shenanigans with Kano at 16 and owed him a debt after losing a fight (against her dad btw 💀). She has enhanced strength and can take a beating, so she’s not invincible it’s just gonna take more than a few good punches to take her out.

She currently has no love interests but in the og Kabal was her main squeeze. She also had a thing going on with Noob Saibot that I may or may not put in this version of her but it is undecided lmao.

Alora is technically the only oc I have out but I do have another oc named Kasiya that I’m still fleshing out her backstory and just overall character. But a brief summary about her is Cetrion created her from certain elements of nature to help her maintain balance between Earthrealm and Outworld. Kasiya is essentially a ‘goddess of nature’ since she has the power to manipulate plants. I also do have her as a love interest for Kung Lao lol.
