Note: this might be a lil bit smaller than Apri's, simply because Kay as a person doesn't have many friends and he's not very good at maintaining relationships!!

Despite my responsibilities, he knows, and I am plagued with unimaginable guilt. He has lost so much and all of it is my fault. He told me he would stay, but I can't help but wait for the day when he breaks his promise.

He reminds me too much of myself and I worry for him, the shadows cast underneath his eyes, the hollowness in his gaze. He's a lovely fellow and he's so important to Airin, I would hate to see anything happen to him.

for season 10/sona season i think syd would be a meister? could be wrong tho idrk myself that well lmaooo

for season 40, cindy and brandon are meisters while willow is a weapon (willow would be like death the kids weapons with their twin)

for season 41, nariko and amane are meisters while hoshiko is a weapon (i feel like theyd all like share each other? like nariko and amane would use hoshiko cause their bond together is just that strong (idr the soul eater rules so if thats wrong then whoops))

for the others, theo and ankoku are both meisters (fun fact mha!ankoku and his relationship with his quirk is based off of crona so :3 funsies :3 and then theo has his soulmate shit with pale so teehee)

i can't let go

You go to open the door, but it’s locked. You wish the sound of your heavy breaths were louder than the shrieking of their laughter.

They laugh. And laugh. And laugh. Pointing at you, like it's the funniest thing they've ever seen. They laugh at the bright red light from your collar. They laugh at the hot tears streaming down your cheeks. They laugh at the trembles coursing through your body.

You’re trapped between them and the locked door of the bunk, their eyes gleaming with the cruelty a wolf has when they find their prey.

You have a friend here, deemed the nicest person of the group by your bunkmates. She made you laugh, made you feel like maybe, just maybe, you belonged here like everyone else. She let you hang out with her when you were lonely. So how could you know she had gotten sick of you? That she'd pull you aside, in front of everyone, and tell you to “make other friends” because you are “too much” for her?

How could you have known? She once told you that you made her laugh. Now, she laughs at you, along with everyone you thought she was protecting you from.

You play alone in the pool, the others' voices cutting through the splashes of the water. They make comments about how you swim, how your bathing suit clings just a bit too tight to your bigger body, how you’re by yourself for a reason.

Your seat is gone. Taken. They don't even say anything–their smirks and giggles behind their hands say enough. Why are you even sad? You should've expected this. You’ve known for years they don’t care about you, they’ve never even tried. Except for □□□□□□, but you see the shimmer of guilt in her eyes as she looks away from you.

You watch from the corner of the Garden as your classmates play and sing with each other. You wish you could join them, feel that blissful happiness you once felt. But you know better now. You always do.

You’re always too much.

I watch as the lights turn on, spotlighting each individual person on the stage. The theater is silent, except for the occasional fly buzzing around my face. I sit in one of the empty seats, the felt of the seats brushing against my arms and legs.

On the stage in front of me stands all of my classmates, their faces clouded in shadow despite the spotlights on them. It looks just like one of the stages from Season 2.

Everyone is staring at me, expecting me to say something. I say nothing, my brain turning off as a response to my confusion. ‘Why did they ask me here?’

“Well?” One of them calls out, “aren’t you gonna say something?”

I look around, hoping there is someone else in the theater that this was directed to. But nope, just me.

“Um … what do you want me to sa-?”

“How do you expect us to want to be your friend if you don’t put in the effort?” Someone from the back steps forward, glaring at me. “We all called you here, yet we have to get you to say something.”

My heart starts to race. I don’t understand what they’re talking about, and everything is happening so fast.

“Um … uh …”

“You do know we care about you, right? We really do���. But you just … stay off to the side and hope one of us will start something. That’s not our responsibility.” Another one calls out, their voice quieter than the previous two.

I want to cry. I want to yell. I want to throw up. I want to run. What are they talking about?

The first person who spoke can see my anguish and scoffs at it. “Seriously? You’re seriously making that face at us? What is your deal? Do you think you’re a victim or something?”

My hands start to shake as the rest of the people on stage start speaking. “We all love you!” “The only person who made you feel that way is yourself.” “You should’ve reached out, then none of this would’ve happened.” “Why can’t you see that we care about you?”

“ENOUGH!” I feel my feet plant the ground before I realize I stood up. My heart is about to explode out of my chest. “You all are clearly closer to each other than you ever will be with me, and I am done here.”

Silence fills the theater as I turn around and walk away. I hear everyone calling my name, trying to get me to explain. I respond. I don't look back.

The door of the theater slams shut, and I wake up with a gasp. I clutch my chest as I look around the dorm, my fast beating heart making it hard to breathe. 

Oh. It was just a dream.
