The Shopkeep and The Soldier
Tumblr media
C! Wilbur x reader (gender neutral)
Requested: No
Proofread: No
Music: Hatsune Miku Songs to Feel Old and Nostalgic to
Warnings: None? Tommy and Tubbo low key stalking y'all, Fundy is a child, Tubbo has blonde hair, Sally is mentioned, a wolf almost attacking Tommy and Tubbo
Summary: Wilbur finds himself fancying a shopkeep and keeps the relationship a secret from everyone, including L'Manburg
Author's Note: I originally wrote this with my DSMP oc to see if I could write c!Wilbur romance. I like it so much I decided to post the x reader version here :)
-Mod Kenma
The weather was beyond perfect. The sun was high in the sky with fluffy clouds filling it. The air was perfect and the forest creatures were coming out, a perfect day to head over to the small shop on the outskirts of the Dream SMP. Wilbur opened the old wooden door and softly smiled at the bell chiming, alerting the person behind the counter of his presence. You didn't even bother turning around. "Hi welcome." Wilbur smiled and leaned onto the counter.
He playfully grabbed the string of your apron, almost pulling the bow apart before your hand, much softer than his, grabbed his wrist. You turned around and let go of his wrist. "What brings you here, Wilbur? Low on something?" The brunette shook his head and took off his satchel. He pulled out emeralds and other materials he had gathered while mining. "I thought you could use these. Can't have my little (Y/N) going without things to sell." You inspected the gems that Wilbur brought you. "Is this your way of saying you want me to make you something?" Wilbur chuckled and brushed some hair out of your face, then rested his chin on his hand.
You gently pulled him closer before gently pressing a kiss on his lips. "Thank you, Wilby. I have something for you too." Before Wilbur could pull you in for another kiss, he heard Tommy's loud voice. The brunette sighed and pulled away. You chuckled and went to the back of the shop. He watched you go and played with the thread bracelets you made him when you two first became friends. You made him one that was the L'Manburg flag and another to match the yellow jumper he used to wear casually. You were too kind to him. Tommy threw open the door, causing Wilbur to jump. He turned around to see two heads of fluffy blonde hair. "We were looking all over for you, big man," Tubbo said, putting little Fundy down. The fox hybrid ran to his father's leg and clung to it. "Fundy was freaking the fuck out. He missed you." Wilbur picked up Fundy and apologized, guilt bubbling in his chest.
You came back with an envelope that had Wilbur's name on it. You smiled at Tubbo and Tommy, offering them some snacks. When you saw Fundy, you gasped excitedly. "Fundy! Hi!" Fundy squealed and pushed Wilbur away, wanting to get close to you. Wilbur laughed and handed Fundy over to you. The little fox began to ramble to you about the most random things. You nodded and listened, grabbing some fresh berries for the little one to eat. You placed him on the floor and went to converse with the others.
Wilbur would glance at you once in a while, wanting to hold you close. He couldn't though, no matter how badly he wanted to. If anybody knew about the secret relationship you two had, it would be used against him. Dream and his friends could hurt you or use you as some sort of bait. The last thing he needed was for you to get involved with the horrors of war. "I have some food supplies for L'Manburg. I hope this helps." You handed Tubbo and Tommy bags and boxes filled with seeds, dried meats, and fruits. The food crisis happening in L'Manburg worried you heavily, concerned for those inside the walls of the country. The four walked towards the door, ready to leave. "If you ever need something, don't be afraid to ask."
For the next week, Wilbur showed up at the door of your shop. He would either ask something small, requesting advice or simply using it as a place to get away with Fundy. The rest of L'Manburg noticed their leader's absence. Tommy would always point out how Wilbur would disappear and return later with gifts. It wasn't like him to just randomly wander off into the forest. Tommy and Tubbo followed Wilbur out of the L'Manburg walls and were pleasantly surprised to see Fundy and Wilbur at your shop. They watched you lock the door and grab one of Fundy's hands.
You were holding a picnic basket while Wilbur was holding a blanket. You led the two to a pond that had a beautiful clearing. Fundy excitedly took off his shoes and ran towards the pond. You followed him, kicking your shoes off. Wilbur laughed and set up the picnic. Fundy giggled, bending down to look at all the smooth rocks under the water. He began to pick some up and put them in his pocket. You followed Fundy's lead, pointing out rocks you thought were pretty to the child. Wilbur watched the two of you with a small smile on his face. You went out of the water and dragged Wilbur into it, causing you both to get extremely wet. All three of you were soaked but laughed anyway. The two soldiers from L'Manburg were happy that for their leader, he deserved happiness. Especially after the Sally situation. A low growl made the two turn around.
One of the wolves from a neighboring pack found the two. It was a mother, protecting her pups. "Fuck." Tommy muttered, panicked. A familiar scream brought you and Wilbur out of your little bubble. You quickly scooped Fundy into your arms and followed Wilbur out of the water. The two of you ran to the scream and saw Tommy and Tubbo, cornered by the wolf. You grabbed a stick and whistled, before throwing it as far as you could. Once the wolf went away, Wilbur looked at the two with an irritated look on his face. "What the hell are you two doing here?" He said, crossing his arms. "W-Well we-uh, we were curious to see where you kept running off too," Tubbo said, playing with his uniform. Wilbur sighed and pushed his sopping wet hair out of his face. You put Fundy down and let him take the two boys to the pond. "What am I going to do with those two." Wilbur sighed and hugged you from behind. You rolled your eyes and basked in the warmth Wilbur radiated.

alright, so i went through the ama with wan hazmer and daim dziauddian on twitch and picked out every little tidbit i could about the megastars bc i knew you guys would want to know. this is a long post and i’m on mobile atm so i can’t put it under a read more — sorry about that! bosses are in chronological order, starting with DJSS and ending with Eve!
DJ SUBATOMIC SUPERNOVA
- djss took the least amount of time to develop out of all the bosses (haz says his fight took about half a year.)
- daim purposely tried to make djss' name as long as he could. he was specifically looking at negasonic teenage warhead from deadpool for inspiration.
- haz and daim do have the briefing/kliffnotes for djss. they discussed sharing them at some point, but idk when that would happen.
- related to the above, daim says that dj is in his mid thirties. EDIT: his kliffnotes were shared on twitter and they say he’s 41. daim must have goofed haha
- when asked if djss actually has a face and how he eats, daim compares it to kenny from south park and how you never see his face. he thinks dj does have a face in there, but that we just never see it. as for the “how does he eat” part, daim says that sometimes they don’t have to show everything.
- daim is a djneon/neonnova shipper, and it’s one his favourite pairings alongside zuke/mayday.
- daim said that uncle ali basically instantly landed the role as djss. he was that good.
SAYU
- sayu was obviously inspired by hatsune miku and other vocaloids, but haz brings up one particular commercial involving miku and google chrome, which involves a bunch of people collborating on songs and concept art for miku, similar to how sayu started as a collab between remi and tila in-universe.
- someone asked about the models for sayu's crew's apartments. there wasn't much on that, but haz mentions that one of his favourite nsr fanfics (yes, he reads them) is "Road to Redemption," and there's a scene that takes place in a studio where the crew works on sayu, and he really likes that.
- the devs wanted sayu's name to sound both malay and japanese at the same time (as well as a nod to miku). haz says it means “warm water” in japanese.
- akusuka is a direct copy of akihabara in terms of locale.
- sayu’s shellfish commercial is a homage to a real snack in malaysia named mamee monster, which is hugely popular with kids. the format of the commercial itself was inspired by a pocky commercial that featured hatsune miku.
YINU
- her game design (for her boss fight) was partially done in ms paint by music director falk (who made the base version of her boss theme)
- yinu's mom doesn't have a name. she's just mother/mama.
- haz confirmed that yinu's father is, in fact, dead.
- daim thought yinu’s name was a nod to yuna (a popular malaysian artist). it’s not.
- natura is daim’s favourite district. he likes how calm it is compared to the others.
- daim said that they wanted a hint of hope in all three of yinu’s backstory photographs, to show that no matter how bad your life gets, there’s always that glimmer of hope and that good things can still happen.
1010
- the members of 1010 do not have any official names.
- the assets for the autographs were made by the artists at one of the partner companies working with metronomik on nsr. haz and daim didn't really have anything to do with making them, and while daim did approve them for the final game, he was sorta skimming through a bunch of assets along with the autographs, and he didn't realize what they really were at the time until later. haz is impressed with how the fans managed to decipher them.
- 1010's fight was purposefully put between yinu's and eve's as a break from the emotional stuff.
- michael jackson was used as a reference for 1010's animations/moves.
- the Bio Tactical Shield that you get for zuke after beating 1010 is a reference to BTS.
- tangibly related, but the collectable figurines are supposed to serve more as a backstory to vinyl city as a whole, rather than 1010 or neon j. daim describes the figures as what events were going on and what people were doing before the events of nsr.
- 1010’s appearance from older trailers (where they all looked the same) were actually placeholders. 1010’s actual designs weren’t finished yet when those trailers were released.
- parts of 1010’s designs (for their bodies/outfits) were inspired by tron uprising, a project that daim worked on.
- somebody asked why 1010 and neon j have sculpted butt plates. daim and haz have no idea, but daim suggested that ellie (who designed 1010) and jan (who did their character models) put them there to up the “sexy robot” factor.
- daim’s favourite member of 1010 is purl-hew/blue, and haz’s favourite is eloni/green.
- the members of 1010 were designed based on popular tropes in boy bands. rin/white is “the main guy,” zimelu/red is the “bad boy,” purl-hew/blue is the “cool guy,” haym/yellow is the “young/innocent one,” and eloni/green is the “weird/funny one.”
- eloni/green not getting fan mail was based on how the “funny guy” of kpop bands/idol groups don’t seem to get as much attention as the rest of the group.
NEON J
- haz and daim didn't expect neon j to become so popular. haz joked about blaming it on ddaddystar, who did that doodle of djss and neon j from the credits.
- when asked about neon j’s age, daim said he’s definitely older than djss, and that he could be in his forties.
- related to the age thing, someone in chat said he should be older if he went to war in the sixties. haz replied by saying they never mentioned what year the game takes place in, so it doesn’t necessarily take place in the present/2020.
- a lot of people asked about the border wars, and daim and haz said they like leaving the bulk of it up to fan interpretation.
- daim said that neon j’s organs were preserved in a robotic shell after the war, and that’s why he’s considered a cyborg.
- as stated above, daim is a djneon/neonnova shipper, and it’s one his favourite pairings alongside zuke/mayday.
- neon j’s monologue was slightly longer, but it was cut down because zul (neon j’s va) didn’t do very many takes for the monologue, and the takes he did do didn’t have the comedic punch that daim was looking for, so it got shortened.
- the singing parts of neon j’s lines were ad-libbed by zul in his audition, and daim liked it so much that it stayed for the final game.
- neon j’s monologue had to be altered in the japanese dub so that the jokes/comedy would make more sense.
EVE
- the color changing paintings from her boss fight were created by accident.
- eve was put as the last boss because of how emotional her relationship with zuke was and how complicated and intricate she is as a whole compared to the rest of the bosses.
- daim considers eve to be the "final boss" for zuke, while tatiana is the final boss for mayday.
- eve took the longest to develop out of all the bosses. she was orignally a lot more complicated, and daim said they had to "filter" a lot of things about her in order to tone her down and fit her into the game.
- eve was almost scrapped from the game. daim said her concept as an eccentric artist wasn't as well known as the other four bosses’ concepts, and combine that with how long it took to finalize her... yeah.
- none of the artists have set in stone heights because of how the gameplay works, but eve is the tallest one. the closest scene in the game that has them at their actual heights is the ending.
- her name was originally eva, but it was changed bc there’s already a popular artist with the same name.
- daim explains that a big part of eve’s concept and theme is her embracing herself. he uses the example of eve’s backstory where she starts out hating herself and trying to cover the pink half of her face, but then starts doing less of that overtime. he also mentions that all the body parts (hands, arms, legs, etc.) from her fight also come from her embracing her body and using it in her artwork.
- dream fever is haz’s favourite district.
- daim didn’t originally think of zuke and eve as being an actual couple until later down the line when the story heavily implied it.
- eve’s younger designs were done by lzbros, who did all the 2d animation for the game.

JAPAN TRIP 2k19 with Mod Elesa (1/?)
hey n’yall it’s mod elesa, lemme tell u bout my japan trip! u can find some of the photos of these events on my instagram @atel2er! i didn’t want to flood this post with pictures hehe ,,
GENERAL STUFF
went for school, study abroad trip to study visualization and simulation of “serious games” that businesses buy and use (but i dont feel like talking abt it since this is the FUN POST
may 10-26
the flight was 11 hours, p easy, i didn’t know anybody going into the trip because i didn’t go to any of the meetings HAHhaHEHA
whatever. everyone on the trip initially came off as if they had yellow fever and i was like ... i’m really not trying to interact with FETISHIZERS
turns out they were all really cool! only this one kid was a real weeaboo who was greasy and tall and a neckbeard who kept talking about being “culturally insensitive” and speaking japanese constantly to the teacher and the TA like ... ok patrick we get it you flex
i stayed in a hotel in shinjuku! everything is so small and i used the bidets for the first time and WOO chile that shit feels FUNKY on your asshole
i visited shinjuku major (kabukicho aka red light district, couple other places!), ikebukuro (THE MEGA POKEMON CENTER), mt fuji, fuji q highland, akihabara, hamamatsucho (area where tokyo tower is), HARAJUKU, and the emperor’s palace! i’m probably forgetting some places since we went to a lot of temples and shrines that were cool ...
the public transportation in japan is scarily on time.. like, by the second. they apologize if they’re one minute early and will wait until the scheduled time before they move omg
the subway stations have their own jingles! they kind of act as an alarm system because a lot of people sleep on the subway (which is why people generally don’t talk on it) and will recognize the jingle for their stop!
the crowded hours on the subway are noon and 6-8pm... like, its insane. it’s actually packed like sardines in there.
EVERYONE THERE IS SO SHORT.... i was taller than a lot of the grown men there (i’m 5′4″ or 162 cm for reference) and most people were around 5 feet tall... the only people taller than me were some kids around my age and this gaggle of japanese schoolgirls who were like 5′7+ and i was like. sis you’re 13, why are you that tall
pokemon is EXTREMELY prevalent in japan wherever you go. there’s pikachu stickers on taxis, pikachu is on ads on the subway and at the AIRPORT, pokemon go is widely played by a lot of people and so many of the people in my group played it so i got conned into playing again. i leveled up 5 times within 3 days and honestly? i’m god
anime is very normal there... i know that sounds all “weeby” but a lot of normal shops had animated mascots and there were ads for anime all over the place.
literally gacha machines everywhere i spent a lot of coins on gacha machines plz kill me
the homies in japan loooove crepes. they sold so many crepes. everywhere. just crepes. also spaghetti carbonara! and corndogs HAHAHA
the food there is so cheap but SOOO GOOD. sushi isn’t all that expensive at all?? like a set of 16 pieces is 1080Y... meanwhile that cost in america is like. $6000 HAHAHAHAH.
very humid? at all times? also the RAIN is debilitating if u make one wrong step you will slip and die (like i did! i stepped on a tile and fucking fell into a puddle! i have bruises still!)
SHINJUKU (detective pikachu day, may 10)
i went to go see detective pikachu on its release day in shinjuku! before that, i went to a couple sega buildings--
the sega buildings are 4 story buildings FILLED with claw machines holding stuffed animals, figurines, candy, all kinds of stuff. when i went, there was a lot of detective pikachu-related stuff. i saw this detective pikachu hat in one of the machines and spent 1000Y (about $10) or 10 attempts at the claw machine ... i still can’t believe i got it ... nobody was there to see it besides me and i YELLED when it dropped
i wore the hat that entire day around shinjuku because i honestly felt like god. people would point at me and go like “ah! meitantei pikachu!” and smile at me. i was a celebrity. i wore the hat into the movie theatre, i wore it through the entire movie, and when i was walking out, someone tapped on my shoulder and asked for my picture. she was all nervous about her english and was like “i love your hat. may i take a picture?” and i was like omG YES U CAN... sweet bab... so that’s the first photo of me that ended up on some random person’s phone
we waited around for the mass of people to exit the theatre and then left, and we ran into her again! she asked me more questions about the hat: “did you make it?” “no, i got it in a claw machine in the sega building.” she looked dumbfounded. “in shinjuku?” “yes.” “in the sega building? over there?” “yeees.” “in a claw machine?!” “yes!” “ah! i thought you made it! it’s so cute! i’m going to get one for myself.” “lol ok have fun”
i learned that its customary to stay until the very end of the credits before leaving a movie out of respect for the people who made it! meanwhile in america we walk out when the credits roll FHDSKFJS OOPIES
SHINJUKU (visit #2)
we went in the night time to go see the red light district aka kabuki-cho because thats where a lot of the bars are
i don’t drink so i didn’t join the people who went to the bars to get CRUNK, so i dragged two other guys with me and we walked around the red light district
I SAW SO MANY HOST CLUBS. so many maid cafes. so many bars. i saw a love hotel too... i was like... i wanna go inside... Blease... and my friends were like “you’re so weird KHEDJFSk” and im like “I WAS GOOGLING THESE IN CLASS TODAY, I DIDN’T THINK THEY WERE REAL”
my friend sean (he’s from taipei, cool guy, could read a lot of the kanji so we used him to navigate the subway HAHA) was walking with me that night and we saw this hole in the wall that had stairs going down to a peep show ... homegirl had her whole ass out on the sign... tiddies covered with caution tape ... i said MAAM?
one of the signs in kabuki-cho had a woman doing straight up ahegao with (what i’m pretty sure was) nut on her face. it was a small sign and i was the only one who saw it. i lost my shit. it was the funniest thing ever
kabuki-cho is really really dirty... like people straight up litter all the time bc there’s no trashcans around? so people throw their shit on the ground? and everyone steps on it... very seedy area, very gross, but i was absolutely enthralled with the nightlife and the blatant sexual vibes half the places had!
some dude stopped me and started speaking english saying “do you like karaoke? you should come drink with me for two hours, it’s a great price if you drink a lot” and i was like “no... i have to go home” and he’s like “come onnnn it’s a good price” and i was like. i’m not very assertive with men so i started panicking and my friend sean (A GOD AMONG MEN) started speaking chinese to him and he backed off ... i love you sean you’re so fucking COOL
IKEBUKURO (pokemon mega center)
so there’s this huge mall. i forgot the name, but it’s got like a lot of floors and they’re MASSIVE
on the 2rd floor is the MEGA POKEMON CENTER!!! i was so HYPED to go in there!!! it was teeming with people but there was just... so much stuff. all kinds of merch. they had plushies of the original 151, a shitton of really cool tshirts, a whole block for detective pikachu-themed merch (pins, socks, canvas bags, shirts, patches, hats, etc), and sooo much more. there’s a giant charizard statue when you walk in, as well as a statue of a pokestop HAHA. i was so excited and i wanted to buy so many things when i was in there bc they had stuff for all the legendaries (LATIOS AND LATIAS STUFF WERE THERE I WAS SO HAPPY)!!! literally anything you can think of, they had in some kind of pokemon print. including underwear. yeah i said it. here’s a really good article that showcases some of the stuff they sold there!
for reference, 100 yen is about 1 usd. a lot of things there were 480 yen ($4.80) or 3000Y ($30) and it was just... beautiful.
when i was there, yen didn’t feel like it had monetary value since it’s not the currency i’m used to, so i sPENT WAY TOO MUCH AHFJKDFD
they had themed cash registers with each of the starters... i cried :’)
i actually went there a second time but it was packed for a different reason. some idol group was performing on the ground floor and a shitton of girls were screaming fanchants while their jpop boys danced LOLLL. now i know how people see kpop stans ...
AKIHABARA (i went like 8 times)
this is what i like to call my birthplace
we went to the maid cafe. of course we fucking did. i got a dreamland passport and some cat ears. THE MAIDS ALL LOVED HATSUNE MIKU
SPEAKING OF HATSUNE MIKU AKA MY GODDESS, she was pretty popular in akihabara! she was also on some posters in the subway stations (across tokyo, not just in akihabara) and was apparently having some magical mirai concert???
there’s this giant tower called radio kaikan thats right outside the akihabara station that’s filled with all sorts of anime shit. i spent so much money in there. Good God. there was a furret plush for 5400Y and i was so STINGY that day i shouldve BOUGHT IT....  it was a longboi and i was like... sis!!!!
remember how i said my brain didn’t register that yen had monetary value? yeah i spent hundreds of dollars here no cap ...
i went to a kaguya-sama cafe as well on another day bc my friend joe (one of the figureine-collecting weebs) wanted to go and get a chika coaster
i went into a three floor sex shop and gave no fucks, the bottom floor was filled with bdsm shit and LEATHER SCHOOLGIRL OUTFITS and it was WILD. and these two old men were just casually browsing this shit like we weren’t both looking at whips and buttplugs in Public you know
i wasn’t fazed by a lot of the stuff there bc i read Funky fanfiction but the people i went in there with were major uncomfy ... i was like PRUDES HAJKFDAHDS i almost bought something don’t tell anybody
OKAY SO. there’s this place called super potato that has a floor dedicated to old games and consoles. they had so many gameboy advances and gamecubes and old consoles (famicom, dreamcast etc) for CHEAP. they had a gameboy color for 4900Y and a gamecube for 5600Y. a bitch almost cried. they had every old pokemon game under the sun (the original red, blue, yellow, gold and silver) and i ,,, they were 480Y. they were 480Y. that’s five fucking dollars. do you know how much collectors pay for that shit on ebay? HUNDREDS. i could’ve mass bought those and sold them and made so much cash but I DIDN’T.
that store had an original unopened copy of super smash bros melee and pokemon colosseum and i was like... wait if i cop a gamecube i could play pokemon collosseum like a true g... ((i didn’t cop))
but anyways there were a lot of games that didn’t make it to america (including mother 3! which my friend connor bought! as well as the console to play it!) and just... so many old things i grew up with ...
whenever i walked out of the super potato we’d end up in an alley where all the girls who work at cafes were advertising their stuff
i always took the flyers from the girls bc they spoke their cute english to me and i was like... i’d die for you, yknow that?
ALL KINDS OF CAFES. regular maid cafe, pirate cafe, ninja cafe (you could do that thing where you karate chop a wooden block in half), sailor cafe (as in actual ship captains), shrine maiden cafe, vampire cafe, prince cafe (for the ladies ;3), catgirl cafe, bunny girl cafe... i took all of the goddamn flYERS THEY WERE ALL SO CUTE :( i wanted to go so bad...
FUJI Q HIGHLAND (also known as the time i flipped my shit and went on rollercoasters)
when i found out about fuji-q, i told my group that we HAD to go. i didn’t want to go to an onsen. i wanted to go to fuji-q. i had to. i love rollercoasters, it’s my passion, my driving fORCE IN LIFE
so fuji-q is home to 4 record-breaking rollercoasters! u got fast boi aka jojo reference do-dodonpa; EXTREME TALL BOI fujiyama; superior to x2 at six flags eejanaika; and the steepest rollercoaster in the world TAKABISHA ... i got to ride fujiyama, eejanaika, and takabisha! the scariest one was probably fujiyama despite it being very cut and dry up for... ever ... 79 meters ... oh god ... i lost my shit on the way down ladies let me TELL YOU
FUJIYAMA ALSO HAS A VIEW OF MT FUJI AND I WAS LIK E”YO GUYS ITS MT FUJI” and then we went down and i screamed
please watch the pov videos for these rides they’re very good but they don’t convey the absurd amount of excitement i had going on these rides
anyways the fuji-q park was having a sword art online collaboration when i visited, so they played SAO music and had cardboard cutouts for them across the park... kirito’s ride was fujiyama (aka the king of them all). i forgot the other ones but those alicization kiddos were there but ion care about ALICE OR EUGEO
the first ride i went on was eejanaika which is a 4d rollercoaster, pretty epic, total Baby Ride though
i went on as a single rider so i ended up getting put in this group with these college kids! the guy i was sitting next to spoke to me in english and asked basic questions: “where are you from?”, “is this [ride] easy for you?”, “how old are you?”, basic stuff. he asked why i was in japan and i told him i was studying at waseda university, and he immediately perked up and went “I GO TO WASEDA!!! WASEDA YEAH!!!” and fist bumped me ... his friends were giggling and kept asking him to ask me questions and it was just. so wholesome.
when we were abt to get on the ride he looks at me and says “my name is soichiro. call me so-chan ok??” and i was like... “so-chan” and his friENDS ALL STARTED GIGGLIGN AND I WAS LIKE U///W///U
while we were going up on the ride, he kept yelling “JESUS FUCK YOU JESUS CHRIST” and my favorite: “JESUS CHRIST WHAT THE FUCK YOU” because apparently fuck cannot be standalone! “what the fuck you” is my new fave insult (i miss you so-chan)
afterwards he kept coughing and was like. dead. his soul left his body. so i asked in him japanese like,,, “daijobu ka?” and he was like “nai.” and i just laughed at him bc BA B Y SO-CHAN CANT HANDLE SOME SPINS
i bought a corndog at fuji-q at this place called arirang hotdog which is a korean style hotdog place??? BRUH that shit is so good but i shat myself for a good minute afterwards ... damn i want those corndogs
sadly i did not get to go on do-dodonpa because nobody wanted to ride with me and i didn’t want to go by myself >:/// still mad abt that bc that was the FAST BOI ...
also. takabisha. the guiness world record with the 121 degree drop. not even scary. BUT they do hang you there for like 3 seconds before making you go down and i was like “YALL FUCKIN WITH ME” really loud when they hung us there ... PLS watch a pov video you’ll see what i mean ...
HARAJUKU (i totally forgot abt this place OH lord)
i bought ... clothes here ...
they have all those clothes with the random english words on them so OF COURSE i had to buy one AS WELL AS a hat to match!
i also bought one of those ear hats where u press the paws and the ears move ... bts inspired that one
so many people in harajuku absolutely DECKED OUT in fashion. what a bunch of legends.
apparently wearing shirts that say “babygirl” are popular here i have no clue why ,,,, also im pretty sure i remember seeing a shirt that said “call me daddy” and i’m like. Ok Japan
half the shit in english made ZERO SENSE or was SPELLED WRONG and that was common all across japan, not just on harajuku fashion pieces LMAOOOO
deadass i went to a couple businesses (fuji xerox, nissan factory, etc) and they had spelling errors all over the place... nissan really had a placard that said “Prease do not touch” AND I CACKLED hfDSKLJF ilove u nissan

Leith and Tomo
Disclaimer: I don’t own anyone except Tomoko, her family, and Nagareboshi Cafe. Leith belongs to the ever-lovely @abalisk-senpai, and Ace, Kakashi, and Sakumo belong to their respective creators of Eiichiro Oda and Masashi Kishimoto.
The song mentioned throughout this fic is specifically ClariS’s Connect from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I specifically use this guitar version and Miku-Tan’s English dubbed lyrics.
Please enjoy this informal sequel to the original piece~
Cleaning the cafe was always something I never did like at the end of the day. Even if Konoha had a somewhat nicer reputation in comparison to other shinobi villages, it did not change the fact that some of the clientele could be messy.
“I have half an urge to call those men back and ask them to help us clean up,” I could vaguely hear Mama mutter from a corner of the bar. The squeak-squeak of a cloth followed the statement, and from how quick it was, I could tell she was at least annoyed. Oh dear. “They might’ve eaten through at least half of the food I had stocked for the next three months, and their appetites…!” Mama shook her head while wiping at her cheek with the back of her right hand. “I could’ve sworn they were pirates with how loud they were…”
Papa was wiping down the cash register with a soft laugh. “Hikari, they still did good business! They paid in-full for everything too! And thankfully, the ninja didn’t say much of anything, so it’s all good!”
Mama only sighed. “If you say so, Judai.”
Well~! I tried not to jump at the sound of Hisako’s voice in my head. Once again, she was twirling some kind of thought cloud above her hair as she grinned. At least you made someone happy today, right, Tomoko-chan?
The simple memory of that white-haired lady with the hazel eyes only brought a small smile to my face as I sprayed some cleaning fluid onto the towel in my hands. The piano was getting dusty, so it was time to wipe down.
The last thing I was expecting to hear was the soft sound of a guitar.
As expected, Hisako reacted first. Eh?
Mama and Papa looked up next. “Huh?” Papa said dully.
I blinked and scratched the outer rim of my right ear with my non-cleaning hand to give the guitar more attention.
It only took a few seconds for me to recognize the chords.
Connect?
Without even thinking, I was already dropping the cleaning towel onto the piano keys before running outside. Despite Mama’s shocked protest of my name, I still was running as fast as I could, only vaguely making out the next few notes of Connect before I was nearing the entrance. The doors were only a small obstacle, because throwing them open was the best thing that you could do to them.
Once I could get a glimpse of the night sky, I turned towards the direction of the song before freezing.
That same lady. It was her. White hair, hazel eyes, yellow sweatshirt, even the same violet sash and blue waist-cape. The cape in question was draping the seat of the chair she was sitting in. From the looks of it, she apparently grabbed one of the chairs from outside the cafe to bask in the night light coming from the patio above us.
I was surprised that she didn’t even flinch at my appearance, only continuing to strum the apparently gorgeous acoustic guitar in her hands. Her checkered hat was now sitting on her lap, showing off her full head of white hair, and the light only made it shine. Connect seemed to sound from the strings all the stronger now with the lack of distance, and I found myself standing in awe as she continued to play.
Maybe… Hisako inclined her head. Is she…?
I didn’t want to entertain that thought just yet. Instead, I held my hands together against my chest to take in the song for as long as I could, closing my eyes.
This was the first time that someone other myself was playing a song from the old world. And with how death was a common thing in any world, in any life, I wanted to bask in the memories.
The remaining lyrics to the song came almost naturally to me.
Here we stand: a world of ruin
No path to guide us onward.
Still I smile and face the day:
With you, I'll find my way.
Now my heart's alive, and racing
Towards the future.
There's no doubt that
Could dare hold me back.
I'm gonna fly on forward into that
Blue sky, boundless and bright.
I still pray and hope
That one day we'll be together.
I'll fight onward
And see you again, my friend.
I won't stop until the end.
I won't give in.
Tomorrow's looking bright…
I didn’t even realize the guitar had stopped until the sound of chirping crickets reached my ears, and I opened my eyes only to make eye contact with familiar hazel—
Oh no.
She was already opening her mouth. “F—” was all I could get out before she ducked her head, smacking her left cheek with her strumming hand.
Oh no.
“U-Um,” my face was already starting to turn hot as I tried to not fumble with my kimono sleeves. “I—”
Even then, the lady didn’t yell like I was expecting, instead staying in that stool while holding up her guitar. She huffed a breath before making eye contact again, inclining her head. “Hey,” she said, eyebrows furrowed awkwardly.
“H-hello again,” I said, feeling all the more embarrassed now. It almost felt like I walked into something I shouldn’t have. Instead, Hisako held up a cue card, and I found myself mentally reading the script, thanking my Nobody all the while. “Wh-what brings you back to Nagareboshi Cafe, ma’am? We’re just about to close…”
The lady shook her head, smiling at me crookedly. “Hey, uh, don’t call me ‘ma’am,’ please? I’m not that old.”
If my face was previously a cherry in color, it was probably turning into a tomato at this rate. With the temperature of the sun in July, no doubt. “I-I’m sorry!” I tried not to fidget, instead gripping the hem of my skirt while shrugging my shoulders as best as I could. “Then, what do you want me to call you?”
“Leith,” the lady said curtly, and she relaxed the arm holding her guitar up before smiling a bit wider. “Just no suffixes or any of that nice stuff. In exchange, would—” she paused, pressing a pointer finger to her forehead before glancing back at me. “Would ‘Tomo’ work? Cuz three-syllable names are too long~”
Uhhhhh, okay? Hisako went. Did she just hum?
“I don’t mind?” I added. Hey, I didn’t mean for that last part to come out as a question, but once it was already out and gracing the air, Leith snorted.
“Or,” Leith gestured with the guitar handle at me with the same crooked smile. “You are a kid, so ‘squirt’ works just fine too.”
Hisako was now suddenly holding a hammer. I don’t know if I like or dislike you right now, Leith. I just wish I could tell you. You’re on the line for now. She waved the hammer around for a moment, twirling it with ease in spite of its weight. The movement actually jostled a few books in her wake throughout the mental library, and I tried to hold back a wince. Just don’t show Tomoko-chan any sexual stuff, and we’re good.
I had no clue whether Hisako was meaning the threat or not, so I just dropped a large blue curtain on her as a way of quieting her. “A-Anyways!” I tried not to throw my hands up in the air from the embarrassment and Hisako’s own ranting. “L-Leith, what are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be heading back home?”
Those hazel eyes narrowed on me for a moment before she threw her head back and chuckled sheepishly. “H-home? I just wanted to wander for a bit, that’s all!” Leith laughed again, and I couldn’t shake off the feeling that she was hiding something. Before I could say anything else, she glanced back at me with a more lopsided smile. “And, by the way, Tomo? Think you could spare a bed?”
“…What?”
“So, let me get this straight.” Papa was now the one leaning his forehead against his hand. “Tomoko-chan, you met up again with the lady you helped earlier, and she wants us to do what now?”
“Share a room for me to stay for the night?” Leith shrugged, guitar now strapped to her back, and I couldn’t help but fidget as Papa sighed. Mama simply reached over to rub his back with a wry smile. “Honestly want to avoid my crew right now.”
“…This just sounds suspicious to me,” Uncle Sakumo added from his sitting position at the living room couch, but I only had to glance at him before he smiled, quieting down.
“I say, ‘No,’” Kakashi concluded with a twitch of his eyebrow. His crossed arms didn’t really help matters.
“But, uh…” Once I spoke up, everyone in the house, Leith included, turned to me and I tried not to freeze. “How about she just stays in the living room? I can pull out the futons and as long as there isn’t a lot of noise, I can stay with her for…” I floundered, voice cracking. “Guard duty??”
A long pause followed.
Kakashi sighed loudly through his mask.
“I…have no friggin’ clue how you did that, Tomo,” Leith said in the mass that was her futon-blanket-burrito, pillow inconspicuously sticking out of the bundle. She was still staring at me with the wide hazel eyes from before, and I tried not to sigh while smoothing out any wrinkles in my own futon. “Do you have some kind of rare fruit that you ate while playing piano or something?”
Hisako was gaping now. Is she drinking something, or—
I immediately dropped another large curtain on my Nobody as a response.
Outwardly, I tried not to huff at Hisako’s rambling, tugging at my nightgown sleeves to cover more skin. Mama’s designs were modest as always, but it could get cold sometimes in the living room. “I don’t know either. But…” My heart beat as I looked up to meet Leith’s gaze, shrugging. “It does feel like I can trust you, and Papa did have the house set up with some traps, so it should be fine!”
Leith immediately tensed up, glancing around before turning back to me, hazel eyes wide. “…I’m not going to get skewered or anything, am I? I can’t deal with the sea as is.”
My mouth was already dropping open before I could get anything intelligible out. If anyone was listening in, they probably would’ve heard me squeak like Minnie Mouse before speaking. “L-Leith-san, what kind of life have you been leading?”
“Don’t ask, squirt,” she retorted, and that was all I could get before she shifted in her bundle and promptly dropped her head onto the futon pillow. “Don’t ask. Just turn off the lights, please.”
Hm. Hisako hummed while finally wrestling my blue curtain off her head. She’s hiding something.
Just drop it, Hisako.
But—
Please.
My Nobody immediately went quiet at that.
I decided to leave out questions about Connect, instead smoothing out my futon before shutting off the nearby light switch and laying down myself. “I’m sorry if this does make you uncomfortable though, Leith.” I had to stop myself from adding the instinctual ‘-san’ before smiling. Even up close, her white hair looked shiny in the incoming moonlight. “But I’m glad I got to see you again.”
Leith’s shoulders tensed once before she shifted in her futon bundle again, turning over to me with a wry smile. Her white hair was now framing her face, really showing off the muscle mass that came with being an adult. “You squirt,” she muttered, but the tone was fond, unlike her previous awkwardness from the day. “You’re too sweet for your own good.”
I couldn’t help but smile bigger. “I get that a lot. But it’s just me. And I’m being honest.”
Leith rolled her hazel eyes before shifting again, and I blinked once a rough hand landed on my head. “Get some sleep, squirt.” The same hand ruffled my hair for a few moments before reaching to my blanket and pulling it up, effectively tucking me in without saying anything else. “Save that sweetness for the crew tomorrow.”
The yawn leaving me was loud enough for Leith apparently, since she ruffled my hair once more before pulling back. “Can’t wait to see Ace’s face at you,” was her mumble, and by then, I was trying to fight off sleep.
“Who is Ace—” my eyes were already closing with another yawn. Oh well. Another day. “Night night, Leith…”
The last thing I remember before falling asleep was that white hair sparkling in the moonlight as a hand brushed my shoulders.
“Vy?”
Huh? What?
“D-Daddy, I—”
What?
“I’m sorry, sir, it’s a rather difficult situation.” A long sigh followed. “Vy, do you want to take a break?”
No. No. Not this again. I don’t want to see this again. Vy is supposed to be dead. Not like this. Not like this…!
“Vy?”
“D-Daddy, I…I—”
NO!
I was not expecting to jump from my futon, heart racing like I was on a marathon that night. Nor was I expecting to wake up crying.
Tomoko-chan? Hisako’s voice, softer and comforting now, and her hands wrapped around my mental self as the library rumbled. Tomoko-chan, it’s okay. It’s okay.
I tried to catch my breath, the tears already streaming down my face, only to freeze at the sound of another voice.
“Ugh, what hit the ship…?!” was the apparent grumble at my right side, and I was already turning around to catch a glimpse of white hair and apparently crusted hazel eyes. “What’s going—” Leith immediately was on edge as soon as we made eye contact, and I found myself fumbling with my hands.
She didn’t deserve this.
Leith definitely deserved someone, anyone better than the crying little girl I was being right now.
“I-I’m sorry, I—”
Leith didn’t even let me continue before she was sitting up in her futon, scooting over to gently rest a hand on my hair. “Hey, squirt,” her voice was soft, almost as much as Mama’s, or Hisako’s with the way it sounded. “What happened? Why the tears?”
“I—” The lump in my throat made me choke as I tried to find a grip on anything I could find, instead grasping what fabric I could of the chest area of my nightgown. “I-I just…” Tears were already soaking my dress, and I tried not to sob. “I—”
Leith was already grunting in understanding before pulling, and I found my forehead bumping her shoulder before arms were winding around my back in a hug. What? “Hey, you’re okay. Tomo, you’re with me. You’re at home, and you’re okay.” She was starting to hum.
I tried not to stiffen as Leith started to run her fingers through my hair, brushing out any tangles with ease while continuing to hum. It was almost like she had revealed another side of herself, and I couldn’t even find the heart to comment once she started to sing, rocking me back and forth in the hug all the while.
“Every time I stop and stumble
in doubt and darkness
I close my eyes and think back to you.”
My heart was already starting to slow.
“We made a vow, a promise,
To carry onward,
I'll see it through.
When I was young, the sky shone clear and bright and blue,
And I smiled through every day, knowing that all my dreams would come true.
Now that I've grown, that sky fades dark and disappears
And the future I once dreamed dissolves
before my doubts and fears.”
Connect? Hisako said incredulously. She then paused. I take it back. Leith has officially earned the right of immense respect and lots of love. She was smiling now. Kudos to her.
“Then you came to me,
Took me by the hand,
And the strength you shared helped me to rise and stand.
Let the clocks tick by,
Let the days fade away,
'Cause I've found the path my heart will
walk today.”
My breathing was the next thing to even out as Leith continued to brush my hair. I don’t even remember if I ever hugged back. All that was lingering in my mind were the familiar lyrics from Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Leith’s voice, singing strong in spite of my remnant sniffling.
“Now my heart's alive, and racing
Towards the future,
There's no doubt that
Could dare hold me back.
I'm gonna fly on forward into that blue sky, bound-less and bright.
I still pray and hope
That one day we'll be together
I'll fight onward
And see you again, my friend.
I won't stop until the end,
I won't give in.”
My heart was quiet now. Everything felt warmer. Almost gentler, somehow. It was like Mama’s hot chocolate with how everything had turned soft and fuzzy. The last thing I remember was my eyes closing and a nose brushing my head. “Payback’s not a bitch in this case,” was the mumble, and then all I could feel was Leith’s presence, cradling me as the blankets covered us again.
I don’t think I had that specific nightmare ever again.

When Raoul met Oliver
We arrived at Tumblr sometime in late April, I was driving the car as my attorney was giving directions while under the effects of cocaine, we were looking for our blog space and had already passed several other blogs that showed the variety of individuals that inhabited this odd yet stimulating land. I was barely able to make out our location when he suddenly shouted: “There it is!” I sharply turned the car to the right to not miss the location my attorney had pointed out. As we stopped I saw It was a house, it was colorless with a generic house shape and no windows, just a door on the front. “Our blog lets go check it out.” My attorney said getting out of the car. I looked around the somewhat deserted area around our blog, I thought to myself how we were going to get any support if we were on the outer rims of Tumblr.  I carried my luggage into the blog house, it had a giant tv on the wall with a couch and a table that had a smartwatch on it.
“You should take that” my attorney yelled from the other room where he put his luggage “It will give the locations to other blogs and more information.” He was reading this out loud off a tablet from the table the watch was on “The big monitor can help us search for other blogs we want to visit as well and check our own ‘asks’ or receive a message from the ‘mod’ whoever the hell that is “ he continued on as I strapped the watch onto my wrist and turned it on. “Grey people are anonymous Tumblr inhabits with no identity, called anons for short.”
“What do we do know?” I asked as I looked around on the watch looking for some clue of what to write about.
“Ask blogs are pretty popular on Tumblr, you should go interview someone from those blogs since asking questions is the whole point of the blog. Just interview someone fast because inactivity for too long with no content may lead people to think we’re just some guys who wanted to get past the safe mode or troll people.” My attorney said still reading from the tablet now with a joint in his left hand.
“Who should I interview?”
“Fuck, I don’t know just go look on the screen and get to it!” He yelled as he walked over to the tv typed in ask blogs and pressed a button that looked like a compass which caused the TV to start searching for ask blogs. Several based on fictional characters turned up but one that appeared to be the most popular were asked blogs based on a line of characters called ‘Vocaloids’
“There, go find a Vocaloid ask blog and interview the person. It’s that easy” he said as he sat down on the couch “Try this Fukase guy or Miku or Oliver he looks friendly.”
“You whore, I don’t even know what a Vocaloid is, just let me sit down and relax”
“Then learn about them when you travel out to one of them just get something to write about, the sooner the better.”  I had no way of arguing with him right now, he was high off his mind from that joint. With little recourse, I cussed him out as I left the house and got into the car and looked for the nearest Vocaloid ask blog based on the only reasonable name my attorney listed inside. Oliver had plenty of blogs on him so it wasn’t too hard to find one but it was hard to pick which one I wanted to interview, Christ, some were flat out scary. There was a vampire, a creepy crawler, a mermaid, one whose eye was replaced with a mouth and another who was a dummy or something. I found one who was obsessed with knives named ask-okniver.tumblr.com  or Knife for short and decided he would be interesting, I have an interest in knives and maybe he could lend me a good hunting knife. I punched in his location and hit the road to his blog.
The journey wasn’t too long and I pulled up to his house in a few minutes. Okay, be calm don’t alienate him, tell him your name and what your business at his blog is, those words kept going through my head as I walked up to his door and entered his blog. I stopped in my tracks as I saw several grey people standing around in almost a circle around the body of Knife who was motionless on the ground. Jesus Christ what were these grey monsters I thought before I remembered what attorney had said about them just being fellow Tumblr inhabitants. I walked up to them to look at the body of Knife, he didn’t have any visible woods but seemed to be sleeping but he wasn’t breathing. I checked my watch for information and saw that the ‘mod’ had written something that said “Fun fact: Knife does have an on and off switch. You just gotta find where it is.” So this kid is a robot? That makes this even more interesting but I knew it wouldn’t matter if I couldn’t find the switch to turn him on. One of the anons said “I'm going to make a guess. Is the on/off switch along his spine like Data from Star Trek?” My watch buzzed as the ‘mod’ answered with “Good guess! But it’s incorrect!” Another anon said, “well if Knife's turned off then I guess I could pull off his bandages to see if the switch is there.” As he began to pull of Knifes bandage around his eye. The sight was phantasmagorical, the left side of his face was grey and rusty orange with a black hole where his eye should be, the entire section looked like the skin had been ripped off.  I guessed it wasn’t there either,  I was thinking of calling it a day but then the watch rang with a message, “Perhaps there is someone you can ask for hints. Someone who was made by the same person as Knife.” I thought this over and remembered that there were other Olivers living around here and that maybe they would have information. I was really hoping to get at least one interview so I could go back home and hey if I turned the Knife back on him might be grateful and even more willing to be interviewed, well shit I better get going then.
I dashed out of the house and looked on my watch for the Oliver who seemed like they would know the most about the mechanic of their body.  ask-a-dollie.tumblr.com Perfect a doll robot thing, of course, it would know the most about machines. I drove off as fast as I could to Dollie's house and made it in a few minutes, I jumped out of my car and kicked the door open like a madman and located Dollie who was sitting on the floor and yelled "You! little doll.. robot thing. I am a journalist and I need to know if you have any information on the whereabouts of an on/off switch on your friend Knife's body. I need to ask him questions!”  I was met with a quizzical look from the mangled face of Dollie who said, “Whats a Knife? I don’t know what a switch is either.” He continued to stare at me confused with that yellow eye and I noticed a red-eye beneath it was also staring at me but it looked far more sinister. I realized I just made an ass of myself as this doll clearly knew less than I did and I didn’t research this beforehand, I slowly backed out of the room as Dollie continued to look puzzled. I got back in the car, calmed myself down and looked for another Oliver to ask preferably a normal version. ask-ollie-and-co.tumblr.com seemed like a normal one and he was close by so I decided to go to his blog. I arrived and went inside with a little more composure so wouldn’t appear like a maniac again. He didn’t seem to be home but I noticed on the desk blueprints of his body, I looked through them quickly and found where his on/off switch was located, it was on his left shoulder blade.
“Behind his heart,” I said to myself thinking it sounded poetic in someway maybe I was just overjoyed as I quickly ran back to the car and drove back to Knife’s house to deliver the good news. I arrived back at his house and ran inside and pushed past the anons.
"anons, step back. I am a doctor of journalism and I have figure out where the switch is” I said as I walked up to Knifes body and reached for his hoodie before stopping as I grabbed it. I didn’t want to pull off this kids clothes in front of all these people, I would like some creep for god sakes and I don’t want that reputation on this site. So I casually reached for a knife that was on the table and ripped a small hole in his hoodie where the switch would be. I stood back up and said, “Behold, The answer was behind his heart.” I still thought that sounded poetic as I announced it to the crowd. Our watches suddenly buzzed with a message that said “You found it. Your actions will have consequences.” That last sentence caught my eye, consequences? What could it mean, it’s not like it will hurt him to be woken up and he seems to have been asleep for a while so he should be fine, I noticed the others in the room seem concerned as well but I had to get an interview or story of some sort for my site so I said, “I don't think we have a choice. I know I don't, I have to talk to him.”  I leaned down and opened the panel and flipped the switch to on. Knifes eye opened up letting us know he was awake. I took a few steps back as he stood up and stretched a bit, he reached to close the panel on his back. He suddenly had a look of worry on his as he pulled off the hoodie, I stepped back a little more as I noticed the scars and bandages. He looked at his hoodie in horror with tears forming and he looked up and said, “ What did you do?” I didn’t know whether to be scared or to laugh, I thought he would be happy to be awake but it seems that he feels worse and I didn’t know why, he fell down and sat with his face pressed into his knees with his hoodie in-between. My thoughts on this situation being comical left and I just felt bad.
“Sorry about turning you back on kid, but it seemed like a good option at the time. Clearly wasn't, so I feel bad and I want to know if we can do anything to help you.”  He didn’t look at me as he said, “Just go away.”
I felt a knot in my stomach surprisingly, I saw my chances to talk to this kid fly away. I finally looked at the hoodie and realized he was upset that I tore a hole into it, I felt really bad and I decided to try and do something helpful. The first thing I had to do was lock up those knives, I didn’t like the idea of that kid having them while he was like this and I got an idea from those scars on his bodies that I might be right.
“I should probably leave but I’m locking up these knives so you don’t do anything stupid with them,”  I said as I started picking up knives from around the house but as I grabbed one off the table I noticed some pictures on it. The pictures had Knife and some other Oliver in different places, an anon walked up behind me and said “Those are pictures of him and his boyfriend. He loved so much, but he’s gone now.”
I looked at the pictures and pieced together how upset the kid must have been, so upset that he might’ve shut himself off. I contemplated whether or not to give these to him or lock them ups with the knife collection, I didn’t know if they could trigger some kind of bad reactions or if they would comfort him. Fuck it. I walked back out to Knife and handed the pictures to him.
“Do you still want these here?” He looked up and grabbed them from
“Please.” He said sadly. “ Don’t touch anything” he followed up with as I left back to the kitchen. I ignored his request and continued to collect the knives, there is nothing more depressive and self-loathing then someone who just lost someone they loved, I knew it was safe to keep these locked up. I gently carried his knives and put al eighty fucking two of them into a cabinet. Damn this kid had quite a few knives, most were butter knives but I still considered myself lucky for not getting cut, I had thoughts about taking one but I didn’t need to give a reason for the kid to hate me more. I grabbed the nearest lock and closed to cupboard with all the knives and locked it, in hindsight the lock wasn’t a very strong one and I’m pretty sure any halfwit fool could see that it could be broken with a hammer but it was all I had to use at the time. I walked back to the main room and was about to head out but I still felt bad so I turned back to Knife.
“Can I at least fix your hoodie before I got? I feel bad for tearing it like some animal, I just didn’t want to be seen as some creep who took off little boys clothes.”  I didn’t know shit about sewing but I intended to just make some gesture of goodwill even if I probably couldn’t fix it.
“Don’t touch it. Leave. Go away… just go away” was his response, this kid seems to hate me now, I had no chance at that point to interview him. I could only walk out with my head down in defeat. I didn’t understand why he was so upset about a sweater that could be fixed, I walked outside and turned back to see more people talking to him. I heard someone ask why the hoodie was important and I stopped within earshot to hear Knife tell a story about how another one of his friends had left it for him as a goodbye gift. It was a farewell present from a person close to him and I damaged it. Shit, the only word going through my head as I drove home depressed and tired. I got back to the house to find my attorney had already made a mess of the place, he was stretched out on the couch with a drink in his hand.
“About damn time, how hard is it to get an interview?” I didn’t respond as I took my hat off and poured myself a drink. He sat up and looked at me “Did something happen?”
“I didn’t get an interview but I at least have a story to write about,” I said tiredly.
“Okay, see it wasn’t that hard.” If I wasn’t so tired o would’ve poured my drink on that bastard but I was beaten down by the day I just had and I still had to write this story, so I just walked to my room and got to typing this story.  The strange and decadent adventure has made me reconsider whether or not this change will be for the best, I already feel like life is trying to beat me down again, can I really survive in this place or should I suck it up with thoughts that will be fine later on, I guess I just have to take the ride and see where I go.

I probably already memorized all the lyrics of the OSTS by heart, kidding! But I did for Jiyuu no Tsubasa, Guren no Yumiya, DOA, Barricades, Reluctant Heroes, and Sasageyo.
I also got to memorize some of Levi’s songs such as Hizamazuke and Pomp and Circumstance
I think I have a “Levi/ Hiroshi Kamiya Detector”. Whenever I watch new anime, I automatically know if he voiced a character even without searching it (I still do for confirmation after and I’m always right).
I’ve been to the Sky Tree exhibit and saw the huge Colossal Titan head.
I have successfully turned my family members into AOT fans (or at least made them watch it)
If Titans were real, I would not complain and join the training corps in a heartbeat.
Some countries I would like to visit are Greece, USA, Switzerland, and Macau
I would like to have silver hair one day
I love Wonder Woman and Poison Ivy
My favorite youtuber is JBunzie
My favorite cosplayers are Anzujaamu, Reika, Hikarin, Haoge and Meghan Starbuxx Cofee
I have Pareidolia or the condition wherein you can see faces in objects.
My favorite LeviHan artists are Alemanriq and Drinkyourfuckingmilk
I stalk my mutuals for fun whenever I’m bored (most often Isatastrophe and Myheartisrollingthunder) oops
I’m dying to have asks and requests from people because my writers block visits me very often and its nice to have fresh ideas
I cried after having such overwhelming feedback for Stow Away (THANK YOU!!)
I usually splurge on make up and wigs because I really want to cosplay one day (but sadly I’m not confident enough yet)
I only swim free
I only fell in love with one person so far and he reminds me so much of Levi except that he is tall
I named one of my dogs after him thinking I could move on. Both him and my dog are astill so adorable I can’t forget :P
I only tried hard to learn German because my crush last year was half German
People tell me my voice sometimes already sound like Hanji/ Romi Park when I speak Japanese
I’m quite OC with my notes and aesthetics
I take hours making reviewers because I do them in calligraphy to motivate myself
I find it motivating if I listen to Guren no Yumiya while working or studying. I call it my ‘fight song’
I actually bought the 3DMG harness from TaoBao and it took me 1 day to figure it out plus another 3 hours to put it on.
If I was in AOT, I’d already be eaten by a titan while prepping up my gear.
I even bought boots and a yellow blouse so I can look like Hanji whenever I want to.\
Someone called me Sasha while cosing as Hanji
I also have a red scarf for Mikasa
Aside from AOT clothes, I have some that resemble Love Live and Macross Delta costumes, and Yurri Plisetsky’s blue Jacket.
I actually have covers for all my fics incase they need it one day.
I have no Idea how to use Pinterest and Pixiv
I stare at the ceiling for the rest of the night when the fic I’m reading ends in a cliff hanger
I approach and openly converse with people who I spot have AOT merch.
The person who had a crush on me spent money on buying me an expensive ass Hanji acrylic keychain during a con and I still have it but sadly, he was a bit forceful and we didn’t end in good terms.
One of my conditions in my list of “How to know if he is the one I will Marry” is that me and my future husband should cosplay as LeviHan
I am scheduled to cosplay Hanji in a dress this December with a complete AOT squad in casual. (Still prepping my chubby self though)
My favorite anime songs outside of Attack on titan are Anone Ganbare by Lilywhite, Fuyu Ga Kureta Yokan by Bibi, and Axia by Kaname Buccaneer
I love Vocaloid
My favorite Vocaloid song is Tell Your World by Miku Hatsune
I can cut my own hair after styling so many wigs
I actually earn my wants by making cosplay props for other cosplayers as a sideline when I have spare time.
I want to become a Cardio Surgeon because I can’t fix my own heart so I will just fix others
I still have almost 10 years of studying ahead of me because of Med School
I am very OC about my blog theme
One thing I am very proud of from my blog is my Masterlist because its fucking amazing in my POV
I have Wattpad but I only use it to draft and use AO3 and tumblr to post fics instead.
I do not like flowers, I wouldn’t accept it if someone gave me a boquet.
I only drink tea if it has milk with it and coffee only if it is brewed and not instant.
My tumblr username or URL only came from the ‘suggestions’ because I ran out of ideas XD
I think red eyes are cool, I even own red contact lenses myself.
I once had a dream where there were people I didn’t know and they oddly said goodbye to me before I woke up. I will never forget about it, they broke the fourth wall or smth.
My gender is ‘Hanji’ or indefinite
My next favorite character after Hanji and Levi is Nanaba then my least favorite character is Nile (still thinks he’s a cowardly douche)
I would like to learn how to ride horses fast because of AOT
My favorite place in the world is Baguio Philippines because its cold, and it reminds me of AOT (big ass trees, horses, and looks walled because of mountains)
Some cons I’m dying to attend are those that are in Japan and Singapore.
I love cons in the Philippines, people are so welcoming and warm.
I would gladly have a bird nose if I could XD
send an ask/anon here x.

Star Struck (Working Title) Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Miku had a hard time concentrating in her class “The Origin of Western Ideas” English 564, in small part because of the content of the class itself. It was a thin veil for a philosophy lecture, Miku thought. Those westerners always found direct solutions and simple logic respectively too simple and completely elusive. Ugh, if Plato liked playing in caves why didn’t he just do it? He didn’t need to drag everyone else into his game of pretend reality. The idea of a tree. What? A tree was a tree. The Earth is here and we are here. So is McDonald’s. Miku pressed her pencil until it skidded across her papter. Don’t think about that! Let’s just move on.
The larger reason for Miku’s lack in interest was that she was nervous for her first day at McDonald’s. She had only eaten at McDonald’s a handful of times because her parents didn’t want her to develop unhealthy habits. This time she agreed with her parent’s rationale. There it is! The simple logic that westerners seemed to lack. Don’t eat the hamburger, Americans, if you don’t want to be unhealthy. Although, her first day of work might be easier, she thought, if she were American. She would at least know the menu items by heart if they weren’t pumping through her arteries already.
The next two classes, 19th century English Literature 305 and Chinese history 204 passed just about the same for Miku. She found faults in everything that she learned and made up excuses to worry about serving up French fries and shakes. Why hadn’t she picked up a menu when she was there last night? Her only consolation was the time that was left before she had to report again to the restaurant…and Yuko.
But time can be kind it is never magnanimous. So 5pm came exactly on time and Miku found herself standing in front of McDonald’s glass doors again. The help sign was gone though. Miku noticed this while she swung open the door and braced herself for the perfect being that was no doubt waiting for her to be late.
“Right on time Miku!” Yuko ran up the tile floor with plastic wrapped red and yellow shirt and black pants. A visor that looked just like the manager’s balanced on top of the stack right next to a nametag that read “Miku” Well, Miku thought, Yuko was right about one thing. “Miku” did look pretty nice on the black plastic nametag.
Miku’s chest swelled. This was her uniform for work! She was going to make the money to go to Seoul in that uniform.  Riding on this emotion Miku decided that she needed Yuko’s cooperation. She was even willing to overlook, not forget, but overlook Yuko’s stunning appearance and happy demeanor despite having worked a full shift before then.   Her hair was perfectly straight, her skin was flawless and her eyes were as bright as ever. Miku didn’t look any further than the manager’s face afraid what else she might find.
Miku said, ‘Thank you Yuko!” as she collected the uniform making sure to put a hand on the visor and name tag so they wouldn’t fall somehow.
“You’re welcome! You can go get changed in the restroom and meet me back at the counter.” Miku just stood there as Yuko turned around and picked up the headset on the counter. She talked into the microphone light as ever. “Omatase shimashita! May I take your order?”  This place was lucky to have someone like her. Miku caught herself. Of course McDonald’s was also lucky to have Miku. She could speak more pleasantly than that if she tried.
Miku came back out of the restroom a few minutes later, looking at the creases where the durable fabric had been folded. She looked up and found that Yuko was rushing around getting things together and delegating jobs to other employees.
“Fumiko get those fries in their sleeves! Kadashi I need another Big Mac!” Yuko herself was a flurry of paper bags as she gathered a couple apple pies, four of Kadashi’s Big Macs, Fumiko’s fries and drinks two cokes, a sprite, and an ice tea. “Great Job everyone! Keep it coming!” She finished up the order with the napkins and straws and handed it out the drive through window without even so much as bumping her visor on anything. She had somehow accomplished this in about 5 seconds. All of which to Miku looked like a complicated dance that was exactly timed out and, the new employee had to admit, not beautiful, but aesthetically pleasing. Yuko, without missing a beat turned around and caught Miku staring.
“We have quite a few orders right now in the drive-through. Once we are finished I’ll introduce you and show you how the grill works! That’s where Tatsuya wants you to start. For now take notes!” She winked at Miku. “Someone as smart as you, I’m sure you will have this all figured out by the time I get back!”
“Ok” Miku said coming out of her daze.  She sat down at a nearby table and watched as Yuko performed five other dances just like the one she had just witnessed. She couldn’t help but concentrate on the grace with which Yuko moved.
The manager had a purpose for each and every motion she made. She never grasped the wrong item or had to put things back. Every reach, dip and stretch brought the order closer to completion and out the window. She usually only checked the order screen once before handing it out with that irresistible grin of hers.  Miku didn’t learn a thing.
“Miku!” cooed Yuko from her place at the window. “Come here for introductions!”
Miku nodded and walked toward the counter where Yuko stood with another employee by the fryer. “This is Fumiko.”  Fumiko was a young woman who stood a few inches shorter than Miku.  She had short hair that fell just passed her ears and a wide face. Everything about Fumiko was round and full. Miku felt instantly comforted by the fryer’s presence. Don’t’ be weird, Miku told herself. Fumiko could be a friend. She was someone who wasn’t as perfect as Yuko and Miku felt like she could breathe a little.
“Hello Fumiko. My name is Miku. ” Miku said with her best smile. “I am looking forward to working with you.”
“Don’t be so formal.” Fumiko waved her hand and smiled back. “It’s going to be fun.”
“It’s good you two get along.” Yuko said. “ Now let’s head to the grill.”
Miku gave Fumiko once last wave and followed Yuko to the grill, which was behind the heaters and fryer. A tall lean young man stood under harsh florescent lighting and in the middle of charred beef weighted air. He wore an apron to keep the grease from his uniform and plastic gloves so that he could dress the burgers at the station to his right.  He looked up from the large metal sheet in front of him and smiled like a politician as Yuko and Miku came to join him.
“This is Kadashi.” Yuko introduced.
“Hello Kadashi. I am Miku.” Kadashi was handsome with no extreme features. Actually, Miku thought, he was kind of forgettable. He was just very very ordinary. He took off his right glove and held out his hand.
“Hello Miku. It’s nice to meet you. I hear that you will be working on the grill for now. “
Miku shook his outreached hand and nodded. “Yes. I hope I can learn fast!”
“The grill isn’t difficult. You just need to practice.” His smile was skirted by a few good-natured wrinkles. Miku wasn’t sure if she should trust Kadashi with her first-born or keep her social security number extra safe in case he might find it. She made a mental note to keep Kadashi at a distance whenever it was possible.
“Kadashi’s shift ends at 7pm about an hour and half from now.” Yuko said looking at the clock on the wall behind Kadashi, “That’s when I will be taking over the grill. For now just watch Kadashi and ask him any questions that you might have.”
The headset on Yuko beeped. “See you in a few!”  Then she was gone. Miku was left alone with Kadashi who put a new glove on his right hand and went to work flipping the burgers. Miku waited to be told what to do, but Kadashi had gone into his own thoughts. In fact, he seemed to have forgotten she was there until he glanced over at her. With a start that only consisted of a raised eyebrow, he said, “Hmm. Why don’t you go and wrap the burgers at the end of the station. Here, wear these.” He handed her a pair of cellophane gloves and walked her over to the heaters. This side of the heaters had openings just above Miku’s head that were labeled different varieties of burgers. Kadashi pointed out each one and the wrapper that corresponded to them. “I’ll tell you which burger is which as I get them finished. It won’t take long for you to know them.”
“I got it.” Miku said as she struggled to get her gloves on. Her hands were getting sweaty from the heat of the grill. Kadashi flashed a toothless smile and then expressionlessly went back to his burgers.  Miku almost expected conversation to pass the time, but the only words that Kadashi uttered were, “Big Mac,” “bacon cheese,” or any other burger name. While Miku understood this to be an excellent learning opportunity, the repetition of the burger names started to grate against her after a while. Especially since Kadashi said them with a flat tone that never varied.
“Big Mac.” Miku wrapped the gigantic burger in a green wrapper sent it down the slide of the heater.
“McDouble.” She did the same only with a yellow wrapper this time.
“Bacon Cheese” And again with a red wrapper.
“Double Quarter Pounder.” She used a red and yellow striped wrapper.
The hour and a half was only made bearable by the cool relief that washed over Miku whenever Yuko would chime in with “Kadashi two more quarter pounders with cheese if you please.” Or “Kadashi, another McDouble or you’re in trouble!” It made her think about when Miku herself would be on grill. Yuko would probably say her name like she said Kadashi’s. ‘Miku~ another burger please!’ She shook her head. But it would only be for work she reasoned.  She could never be friends with someone like Yuko. They just weren’t the same sort of people.
On and on the burgers came and went out the window. At times Miku would sneak glances up at the front counter. It looked like an oasis with soft comfy chairs and cooler air. Look at those people just eating. As if there weren’t people back here roasting to death for their bugers. Ah there’s Yuko!
“Big Mac” Sigh… green wrapper. She reached ahead of her to grab another piece paper. How many burgers had she wrapped now? There had been too many to count in Miku’s opinion. One good result had come from this experience though. Miku felt that she knew the toppings for almost every burger except for the specialty burger: The triple deluxe McTower. It had only been order once and was she glad for that. Kadashi had to help her package it with all the patties. How many were there? At least five and the amount cheese and sauces all made the McTower a burger to reckon with.
Miku checked the clock on the white painted brick wall behind Kadashi. It was 7! Miku whipped her head around to the front and when she didn’t find Yuko she peered over the top of the heater. Yuko bagged an apple pie with some napkins and stopped short in front of the heater. The manager looked up and laughed. “Miku do you have something for me?” Miku felt hair sticking to the sides of her face and slunk back down. The Big Mac sat right in front of her on its green wrapper. Oh! Miku quickly covered it up and ran it over to Yuko.  Miku felt the cool spring air hit her all over her face.
“Thank you. I’ll be there in a second. Kadashi’s wonderful, isn’t he?” Yuko didn’t look tired at all and neither did her hair stick to the sides of her face. Miku fought off a pang of regret at hand delivering the order.  She wiped her hair out of her own face and all but stomped back to her station. She took solace in knowing that Yuko might be a graceful dancer at the counter, but she bet the princess couldn’t take the heat of the kitchen and stay perfect.
“Fumiko can you take the front now? Kadashi needs to be getting home.”
“Yeah I can do that” Fumiko’s response was airy and her arms floated at her sides so that she looked like she was performing a slow ballet dance with only her arms as she  walked up to the cash register.
“She’s an artist wherever she goes.” Yuko said.
“Yeah she’s cute.” Miku clapped a hand over her mouth. Don’t be weird! People don’t like that. Yuko punched Miku’s arm softly.
“Come one let’s get Kadashi home.”
“Yuko,” Kadashi said while taking off his apron. “I have five patties on and ready to flip in one minute. I will see you tomorrow. Have a good night. It… was nice meeting you Miku.” He smiled toothlessly again and headed out the front.
“Kadashi is very interesting.” Miku said . “He is very straightforward.”
“I knew I liked you for a reason.” Yuko said while she put on another apron and a set of gloves. “You see people how I do. Kadashi wants to run for public office one day. While his purpose-driven attitude would be great for that job, he needs some work connecting with people if he is ever going to get elected. But he remembered to say good night to me and acknowledged you. He’s coming along.”
Yuko regarded the metal sheet of sizzling patties and said, “Ok let’s see if I remember how this goes.” She watched the clock until the second hand hit the 12 and flipped burgers with amazing speed. Then she lined up a few bottom buns at the dressing station.
Miku looked up at the order screen, a couple of Big Macs and a regular hamburger. “I can dress those,” Miku said.
“Alright! Just a few seconds on those patties. And….Go!”
Miku’s brain froze. Wasn’t Yuko supposed to put the patties on the buns now? No, Miku should have known this would happen. Just like in language classes. You can see and hear a word a million times but you have to practice it to use it correctly. Up until now she had only seen the dressed burgers and wrapped them. She hadn’t the faintest clue of how a burger was put together. Did you put the pickles on first then the ketchup and mustard? Er wait was there anything beneath the patty?  Yuko saw Miku’s hesitation.
“Put the mac sauce on. Now the onions. Lettuce. Yes and now pickles. Cheese it! Ok I’ll put the patties on! Great!” Two perfectly made up Big Macs sat before Miku.
“Thank you! I kind of tensed up.” Miku said as she wrapped them up and sent them down the heater slide.
“It’s alright I’m here for you! I’m glad you wanted to jump right in! I like your can-do spirit.” Yuko said.
Miku couldn’t help herself. She felt the atmosphere was much improved with Yuko around and a smile took up residence on her face. The next hour flew by so fast. Miku learned to dress all of the burgers at first with Yuko’s help and then she found that she could dress them on her own. The best part was Yuko didn’t seem bothered to help her.
“Ok.” Yuko tapped the spatula on the grill a metallic ring sang out. “it’s your turn to flip.”
“Alright!” the corners of Miku’s mouth started to hurt from the smile that had been plastered all over her face. She put on a more serious look as she watched Yuko.
“The trick is in the wrist.” Yuko flipped four burger patties in quick succession.
“It’s never in the elbow, is it?”  Miku’s grin almost turned into a grimace.
Yuko looked directly at Miku and half-grinned with a raised eyebrow. “Huh! I have never heard of a trick in the elbow. But now that you mention it, why is it never in the elbow?”
Miku held up her hands. “It was a bad joke. There is no need to go that deep into it.”
Yuko laughed.“Oh Miku you’re funny.” Miku’s heart skipped a beat. Yeah, she thought, I am a little, aren’t I? I made Yuko laugh and that felt fucking fantastic! So this is what it’s like to giggle with a friend.  Yuko was on her side unlike many of the girls Miku had known. The more rational part of Miku’s mind kicked her in the stomach. Yuko is just showing me how to work, Miku reminded herself. Let’s work. But she couldn’t help but wonder if she and Yuko couldn’t be friends. At some time.
Miku tried a few times to flip over the greasy meat circles. Her first patty split right down the middle and was deemed gone by Yuko’s standards. So Miku tried again but this one was stuck so hard to the metal that it ended up smack on the ceiling from all the force Miku had exerted. Yuko just laughed and laughed. Miku cracked a nervous smile too. Miku’s third burger landed in the grease ally on the side of grill.
Frustrated, Miku set her jaw and decided to implement a softer approach to the fourth patty. She slowly lifted it up underneath and tilted it ever so gently. The beef wobbled forward then back. Yuko watched through her fingers. Miku held her breath. It swung forward again in slow motion, hopped up fully off the grill, catching air that skater’s dream up then landed fast with a splash of oil and sizzle of heat. Both Yuko and Miku jumped up in the air and hugged each other.
“You did it!” “I did it” they said at the same time.
“Stay right there! I want to get my drawing pad!” Fumiko had come out of nowhere.
Yuko and Miku pulled apart fast and cleared their throats.
“Awe you came down.” Fumiko whined. “I’ll be needing those McDoubles after all. Since you wouldn’t let me sketch you and make my big break!” She rolled her eyes and blew a raspberry. Yuko hurriedly dressed and wrapped the sandwhiches.
“Thanks.” Fumiko said. “I guess.”
“Sorry Fumiko!” Yuko apologized. Fumiko just rolled her eyes again.
Miku’s arms hung at her sides. “You’re better at this than I am. Do you want to switch back?”
Yuko crossed her arms. “What are you talking about that last burger flip was great! I mean it could have been faster.”Miku raised an eyebrow. “But how are you going to get better if you don’t practice? I’ll dress the burgers.”
Miku gave Yuko a strained salute.
“Oh there’s no use doing that! Just concentrate on your work Miku.” Yuko said sternly.
Miku put three more patties on the grill and concentrated as she was instructed. They worked in silence for a little while. The only sounds were the burgers sizzling and the crackle of the wrappers. Buisness was slowing down too so there wasn’t even much working noise either. The silence wasn’t uncomfortable, but Miku felt a bubble of curiosity rise in her and expand from her abdomen to the tips of her fingers and toes.
“So Yuko. What kind of music do you listen to?”
Yuko broke out into a smile that took over her whole body.  “I love music. But it’s mostly music from America.”
“Oh so like Maroon 5. Or Nicki Minaj?”
“Oh no like America in the 1980’s.” Yuko gave a nervous laugh. Miku saw her manager’s two front teeth. Miku started to like them very much. “You ever heard of Survivor?
Miku wracked her brain. Nope, she thought of a tv show, but no singing groups or bands. “No,” she said slowly.
“Well I wouldn’t expect you to. They’re so cheesy but I love it! I know that it might all just be the same musical trick over and over. Their songs… do sound sort of the same, but I like the sound.”
“That sounds reasonable.” Miku encouraged her.
“But they don’t sing my favorite song.” Yuko said pointly.
              “Oh and what is that?”
              “I can’t tell you.”
Miku’s head jerked back. “Why not?”
“Because it reveals a lot about you, doesn’t it? Anyway I have always wanted to share my favorite song with someone special. Not that you’re not special. I just barely know you.”
“Hey it’s cool!” Miku scoffed. What had she expected? She can’t just be best friends with someone she just met. Miku continued to concentrate.
*******************************************************************************************
Later that evening the late night crew came in and relieved the three girls. As they were walking out of the restaurant Yuko said, “Hey Miku you did well for your first day. I can see your training only being a few more days longer.”
“Oh really?” Miku asked. Just a few more days and then Yuko would only work the day shift. Sure they could see each other passing as the shift changed but it wouldn’t be the same. Yuko had to be tired though. Working all day and then having to teach Miku. Miku remembered herself. “ Well that’s great! I must be learning pretty fast!” Dammit.
“Yeah. See you tomorrow!” Yuko put on her kindest smile and walked the opposite way to the main road. Miku turned too and started walking toward her dorm room. The air was delicious cool and refreshing. She made all the way up to her door before she realized that she hadn’t listened to SHinee on the way home! She shoved her earphones in and started up ‘Aside.’ She needed the comforting beat to sing her to calm her down and sing her to sleep. She still had trouble falling to sleep anyway.
First days are always hard! But when you work with someone like Yuko it can be made easier.

"8HIT" makes for a really good Training Montage. "Abstract Nonsense" by Rin. Apparently her being suicidal and with black hair contributes to the sheer awesomeness of this song. "Adolescence" uses the tune of "Cendrillon" and renders it better. Len's a capella cover of "Ark" (originally by the band Sound Horizon) is absolutely amazing. Rin and Len's "Astral Domination" has some awesome guitar and vocaloid-work. Len's cover of Justin Bieber's "Baby". Haters to the left! Their cover of "Bad Bye". Once again, the Kagamines cover one of Miku's songs and make it even more awesome (be warned, this video is somewhat disturbing). Rin's "Black*Rock Shooter", backup voices courtesy of Len. "Bloody My Doll" shows that Len tops Edward Cullen any day. "Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder", Len's version. The original Rin version was already great, but Len completely tops it. "Candy Psychologist" by Rin. Just like the name, it's addictive. "Childish War" made by Giga-P and sung by both, both the song and the PV are awesome, very upbeat and catchy. Sibling rivalry at its finest. "City Lights" by PowaPowa-P. "Cloud", an awesome Rin song. "Cosmic Star" by emon, for Rin Kagamine. A very sweet, beautiful song. "CULTURE Liberalization Ward (BUNKA)" features the Kagamines as detectives! Here's to hoping that they'll be able to solve any case that comes their way! "Cursed Glasses: Stray Girl In Her Lenses" by Rin (featuring Gakupo) is outrageously funny and weird at the same time. "Darkness 6". There are no words. "Death Should Have Not Taken Thee!". A parody song of Dragon Quest I made by Jesus-P. Warning, it's EXTREMELY catchy. And has an equally catchy sequel, "Your Adventure Log Has Vanished!". "Discotheque Love" for Len, from Lelele-P. Rin's "Dolls", combined with the very well made video, is incredibly beautiful and touching. Knowing the lyrics also makes it even more tear jerking. "Dreamy Cherry Blossoms" is about a rich girl (Rin) that's getting married in a little while that happens to fall in love with a violinist (Len). It's also note worthy that the art style in the PV is just as beautiful as the song that accompanies it. "Electric Angel" has excellent vocals by both Rin and Len, as well as a very catchy beat and awesome electronica elements (not surprising considering the name of the song). PowaPowa-P's "Equation×**". Len's cover of "-Error". Has some of the best vocalizations by Len. Rin's version sounds rather cute but still good. "A Faint Wish" and its sequel song, "A New Millenium" are very heart-warming. From the same series, we also have "Utopia", which is not quite as heartwarming. "Falling Falling Snow" is such a beautiful song with a simple yet touching PV. Rin's "Fate of Soul", an epic song that manages to be dreamy and powerful at the same time. "Fire Flower" is definitely one of Len's best. "First Virus Resistance". That is all. "Flames of Yellow Phosphorus" by mothy. Disturbing, sad, and absolutely epic. "Gekokujou", hands down. Nothing'll get you hoisting a yellow standard quicker. "Gemini" is just d'aaaaawwwww. "Gigantic O.T.N" is about Len gushing over his enormous penis. No really! You'll love it. PowaPowa-P's "Girl A". "Himitsu ~Oath of Black~" anyone? It's fantastic, and the story is heartbreaking. "Hot Cocoa" by Len is a very motivational song to listen to if you're trying to get work done. It's about Len trying to finish a homework assignment that he put off until the night before it was due. Rin's "I Like You, I Love You" is an adorable song about a shy girl's awkward attempts at a love confession. Len's cover of "Ievan Polkka" (the entire song, not just the leekspin gibberish portion; and in good Finnish too). "Imagination Forest", originally for IA and covered by Rin Sweet APPEND, the mood is captured very nicely and this version is just as nice as the original... and then there's the added bonus of Len coming in for the song's climax. Another amazing AVTechNO song, "Innocence". Awesome use of Len's Power append, sexy heavy beat, and one Epic Riff. "INTERSTELLAR", a Kagamine Rin original by FROMAGE. "Iroha Song" by Rin is a vibrant rock ballad with a traditional Japanese sound about being consumed by love and then losing it (oh, and bondage). "Jabberwocky Jabberwocka" sung by their appends is extremely catchy. The flashy PV doesn't hurt either. "Jutenija" by DATEKEN. Think priestesses singing in a desert temple and you're almost there. "Juvenile" from Dixie Flatline, a nice R&B song with smooth singing by Rin and great rapping from Len. "Karakuri Burst" is an absolutely amazing song. Len looking quite sexy (and non-shota) in that military uniform certainly doesn't hurt, either (also, please note that 卍 itself is not a symbol of the Third Reich — the Nazi symbol faces the other direction). "Karma". Bro. The composition is fantastic, as is Rin's voice, and that scream! "Kokoro". Just... "Kokoro". Len's version or Rin's version, there's really nothing better...except, of course, the mixed version. "Last Stage" and its Tear Jerker alternate ending, "Last Battle". The Synchronicity triology: "Looking for You in the Sky", "Paradise of Light and Shadow" and "Requiem of the Spinning World". "Lost Destination". Act 1 Len with Power, Cold, and Serious Append with an almost Crusader-like, cynical atmosphere. It is truly epic. This version uses Len Append Power and Cold, along with beta versions of Kaito Append Normal, Soft, and Whisper. Yes, Kaito. Append. Rin's "Lost Life" is just so rockin' awesome, and the high pitched voice fits the song perfectly. "The Lost One's Weeping" by Neru. It's a powerful rock song that'll get your head bopping... if the lyrics telling the story of a kid who's gone empty from exceeding pressure to succeed doesn't hit you in the feels too hard. This remix of "Love is War" is better than the original. "Magical Kitty Len Len" is more of a Funny Moment but still awesome nonetheless. "Main Character", a Len song. Awesome tuning, awesome music, but slightly Tear Jerker lyrics. "Make a Wish" is an excellent use of Rin's voice. "Meltdown". By far one of Rin's best. "Memory", a vocal version of the Leitmotif of the title character of the video game Ib sung in Surprisingly Good English by Rin. Ignoring the Engrish, "MIDI MASTER!!" will leave you clicking replay over, and over, and over again... Len's "Monochrome Dream Eater" has an extremely catchy beat. The voice of Len in it is nice, low and just ridiculously fitting for the song's tone. One of Len's best solo songs. Append (Power, Cold, Serious) Len's cover of the Girls' Generation song "Mr. Taxi" is amazing. "Never" is a pretty upbeat song (that comes with Len rapping!) about... eating natto. Their cover of Limahl's "The Never Ending Story". "Noiz bom", "Noiz Are NEL" and "DARK NEL" by AVtechNO are absolutely great. You know, let's just say anything by AVtechNO! Rin's cover of "Only My Railgun" completely overpowers the original. Their cover of "Our 16bit Warz" by their V 4 X voicebanks is just plain amazing, and they sound incredibly realistic. "Pantsu Nugeru Mon", or "I can take off my panties!", is definitely a lot more innocent than the title would suggest, and contains probably the best use of panties as a metaphor (for the care and control of her guardians) that we'll ever see in a a song. The story is about Rin going through puberty, standing on the border between childhood and adulthood, as she is torn between the freedom but responsibility of adulthood and the restrictions but irresponsibility of childhood. The song is very catchy, too! When "Paradichlorobenzene" and "Anti-Chlorobenzene" combine. Here's a Project Diva version of the combination. Len's Append voice with "Pink Rose" is quite lovely. Giga-P's, Orebanana's, and Reol's "Pinko Stick Luv". "Plus Boy." Len is a horny schoolboy who wants to get laid. Rin's cover of "Popipo" is just as energetic as Miku's. AvTechNO!'s "Plus/Space". "Q" by PowaPowa-P, featuring Rin. "Recycle Bin" sung by Len will prevent you from deleting a file from your computer in good conscience ever again. The sequel in Rin's point of view, "Salvage", doubles as a Heartwarming Moment. "The Riddler Who Can't Solve Riddles", a mystery song for Len Also, "The Riddler Who Won't Solve Riddles", its sequel song for Rin. Rerulli gives us another sexually charged Len song in "Sacred Spear Explosion Boy". Like "Brain Fluid Explosion Girl" before it, the words fly by fast, but it's still catchy. "SheSaw Day", a sexually charged song with the most realistic-sounding Len ever. Rin's cover, made by Lu Yurippe, is equally as amazing. Rin's "The Shibuya Catastrophe", complete with a PV as full of explosions as a Michael Bay movie. "SHOTA=RELEASE". Lyrical Dissonance and some absolutely stellar tuning make it a standout Vocaloid song, despite the scary mplications. "Sigh". Some might need a few tissues. "Silver Girl -awaking mix-", sung by Rin — the most epic coming-of-age rock ballad ever. "Skeleton Life" needs to be here. One of the best examples of Vocaska out there. "Skyblue!" is an upbeat song sung by Len, about friendship. Kind of... it's probably supposed to be, at least. Rin's song "Soleil", a song with beautiful instrumentals and an interesting storyline. "SPICE!" is pretty damn seductive. "Spinning Song" is a very soothing song which has a very traditional Chinese feel to it. "Taiyou no Kiss (Rerensa Mix)", a cover of Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" sung by Len. "Tokyo Teddy Bear" by neru. It's about Rin wanting to change herself, and hating herself. It's a bit of a Tear Jerker, but the beat is so strong, you may be too busy headbanging to cry. Vocaloid Halloween? Try "Trick & Treat". "Undead Enemy" is a sleeper hit of Rin's, and would you believe it's actually about not being able to live up to expectations and good grades in school? Rin and Len cover Miku's "Unhappy Refrain" and completely steal the show. "Unrelated Emergency", which is about how most people think the news going on in the world doesn't concern them. "Vermilion" by toya, a duet by two Lens. "The Weekend's Coming!" Rin wants to confess her feelings to her crush, but the end of the world comes in the way. "Wings of the four seasons", a musical adaptation of a beautiful folktale, with amazing harmonies done by Hitoshizuku x Yama. "White Brick and Black Mourning Dress", sung by Rin, is a little bit confusing, but very touching and a real Tear Jerker. Len's cover of Harry Nilson's "Without You". Not a bad effort of trying to get Len to sing in English. "The Wolf That Fell In Love With Little Red Ridding Hood" by HitoshizukuP. Exactly What It Says on the Tin, although seeing as they're just characters of a story and Status Quo Is God, the two will never get together. However, many suspect that the bitten apple at the end of the PV may prove otherwise... Rin and Len's cover of "World's End Dancehall" by Giga-P is epic in its own right. And it combined with this Project Diva Edit PV just adds to the awesomeness that is this song. Len's cover of "World Is Mine". A must-see for Rin/Len shippers. "The Worst Carnival" is a very empowering Rin song about not letting rejection get to you. "YELLOW TRICK" by Yuugou-P. PowaPowa-P's "Year 3 Class C-14, Chiyoko Kubozono's Joining of the Cabinet", while having a rather lengthy title and having Mind Screw-y lyrics, is interesting and pleasing to the ear.
