So, fun story about rural Mich farming and our shit-ass aboveground pool.
It didn't freeze. Not very well. Maybe about half an inch of ice on top in the dead of winter (well below -20F at the worst, most of the time between -10F and 10F). In the summer we were seeing 80F on up with little by way of functioning AC and a house that was NOT set up for effective cooling.
That pool as shitty as it was was a LIFELINE to us.
Our power went out at least 2x a month. Often it'd stay out for three days and one memorable Christmas we had a 2 week blackout and a month long ice storm. We were on well water which meant that if we lost power we couldn't even flush the damn toilets.
Having a tiny resevoir in the backyard just before you hit the front field saved our lives. It meant we could keep the bathub and empty milk jugs filled with drinking water and still have something to flush with, considering our 4x4 truck with allwheel drive and snow tires sometimes struggled on the icy dirt roads that were all we had for miles around.
Summer tho? Summer that pool kept us from heatstroke. Even if we didn't yet have the heat on all 7 of us kids would decide "house is hot, outside is hot, pool is cold. Pooltime it is." and get the stupid boombox and cooler of juiceboxes and snacks and spend all day in the pool until the sun went down and things cooled off. We took breaks, sure, and we definitely needed soooo much sunscreen but there were days when even chronically sunburnt vampire-white me was in that pool because my upstairs bedroom was reaching 100 degrees with the AC on.
for a literature essay im writing im inexplicably looking up a lot of articles abt private pools and american culture and now im curious.
i'm dutch, and to me a private pool seems like the height of ostentatious luxury. i don't know anyone in my country who has a private pool, i grew up swimming in public pools or whatever random body of water was nearby, lakes or rivers or canals or whatever. american media has so many private pools though, are they really that common?

In Korea, they use. a lot of Korean cars in Asia. They do. And they use probably and they will build and the new ones they use up. It's the same number. It's around 5 trillion Hyundai a year. However, this is top side and they're used globally. And they are about 200. trillion per year. Period. Now, those numbers will still be the same or more. the economy is going to go wild. And. These cars are well thought of out of those 200 trillion per annum. The. cars in question are probably about. 40 trillion. It's a lot There's a couple places. in the car where they way too much. and one of them is the seats. So we have to change the kit. You have to pull the seats out and they don't look like super car seats. The trim is heavy, but the door is coming out.. The other item that's rather big. It's about 4 or 500 pounds Are the automobile panels.. Now we know that the panels. are. made out of more steel as a composite. than metal.. The metal panel that we can provide the formula for as a higher. crash rating in all the areas across. the board tear ripping, causing injury, strength, deflection, and more And there are also additionally as a bonus they resist rust very well. Now, this panel is. about a mid level panel and. the cost to make it would be about$10 a panel cheaper and we want to introduce this to the automobile industry. One of the biggest selling points would be that the new panel is a 9 of the bullet resistant chart.
and the companies did not test themetal do not want the recycling to occur and would state the pnels are good steel needed for weapons and tke it all and they failed. and we take it all. and tommy f saw it tld them and tey startd now it is out yes and mroe too shorlty

this is great we do this and try to get in the panel design. now too. and the bradley gt1 up and runnin yes lol love it. and more parting out will push th e parts industry now too
Hera
we are up to it move factories tonight huge ones lots too. the panel is going into the office monday. and they testing is done yes. tons sy they were ready and are. if no we can do it they suck and we reycle. now we use only tested stuff.
twenty percent more of the midwest up tonight and then will be 55 percent. less the delta we work on it mb up to 5 percent of it tommorrow. goood they sall say gret he says. and fun Thor Freya say
the idea is so hot it is ridicluous. no the super cars take a powder. no time and no place to drive them too many cars true.
no our son says at tnight and air shocks nd allwheel drive on the shoulder adn back. and good we see it is right. need the harvester scout II but later not much and on the cmpact not subcompact. sortly. but they use the compact bu twe find ones th boy is messd up and good.
now too
Thor Freya
we are going to make it work and have the time sorta but need it now tons wait so we wotn. we mak them both. now

Myth now in E format: Audi e-tron S - like an all-wheel drive Quattro?
Myth now in E format: Audi e-tron S – like an all-wheel drive Quattro?
[ad_1]
The Quattro myth is said to live on in the electrical age. The new top model E-tron S has now been equipped for this. For sporty drivers in particular, this results in a driving experience that is in no way inferior to that in the classic all-wheel drive quattros and is even superior. The aprons at both ends are still colored in Müllmann orange, as are the side sills. The…

the universe is trying to kill me just got into my third car accident in like a span of 3 months and this one totaled the car and gave me bruises so that was fun
on the plus side I wasnt the one DRIVING this time so all 3 arent my fault, but I am cursed AND it was only the passenger side that took the most damage so gg me I guess
#by my fault i mean i was behind the wheel#not any of these are our fault#the first one my rental car with no snow tires and no allwheel drive skidded off during a snowstorm in nd#the second one a dude just backed into my drivers side door to dent in the door#and this one the road went from rain to black ice and immediately made the car go sideways and into a ditch to hit a tree

A portable pump track shared between four schools in West Auckland is helping children enjoy school time more, and gives their schools a valuable shared recreational resource. Don Buck Primary School board member and parent Olga Mills first noticed a ParkLife modular pumptrack for bikes, scooters and skateboards at the Henderson Massey Local Board Offices, and saw how popular it was.
youtube
“It has been really interesting seeing the track’s value in engaging kids who may not really be that keen to be at school - if they like coming to ride on the track, then the whole school experience is more positive, and that is a good thing.”
She started to wonder what could be done to offer more to children in the neighbouring Massey suburb, where that type of recreational facility was thinner on the ground. “It got me thinking about what we might be able to do for children in our area, and why not try to get one of these tracks for them to use?” But Olga was conscious that there is always a risk that providing such an asset for kids to use could also result in them getting bored with it, and after a few months it languishes unused and wasted. “Having that ‘novelty’ factor is quite important for kids these days, and it’s also a question a potential funder has to ask – ‘will this facility get a good level of constant use over its lifetime’?” The Don Buck Primary School board agreed the idea to seek funding for a modular pumptrack was a good one, and that the idea of sharing a funded track among the four local schools would be a way to maximise its reach across the community. Rotating it around schools would also help retain a level of novelty to keep kids coming back to ride on it frequently. “We ended up getting all four local schools on board, Don Buck, Birdwood, Lincoln Heights and Massey Primary.” Getting in touch with track suppliers ParkLife and working with director Sally Farmer, they decided to opt for the easily erected intermediate rhythm straight pumptrack. Its 29m length it was relatively quick to assemble, good for all children to ride on, and easily transported between the schools.
Olga approached Transpower as a funder, and was pleasantly surprised after following the application process when the electricity distributor provided 100% funding for the track. “Transpower, via their Community Care Fund assist communities where their assets (pylons, lines and substations) are based by investing and supporting community based projects. The track is appealing because of its ability to be moved between schools and from a funder’s perspective it will serve many children across the community.” The track was funded, sourced and erected in time for the first term 2019 kicking off at Don Buck Primary School, and Olga admits some trepidation when school opened for Term 1. “The track requires some concentration to ride upon, and you do have to put some energy into riding on it. Initially I was concerned that not as many children as expected were using it.
“We found that not having bikes nor helmets was a barrier. But through some generous donations from both the Fonterra Grass Roots Fund and Bike Barn those barriers were eliminated, and soon the track filled up with school kids keen to test their track skills. “There were plenty of kids on it by later in the term, riding bikes, scooters and skateboards. “It has also been really interesting seeing the track’s value in engaging kids who may not really be that keen to be at school - if they like coming to ride on the track, then the whole school experience is more positive, and that has to be a good thing.” From schools the track gets a thumbs up for its robustness and its portability. “For me, and from a board perspective the track is a real asset – that ability to share it is something funders really appreciate, they see that the use is constant and ongoing as children come back to it.” Olga said the open, flexible approach ParkLife have towards track configurations means there is ‘something for everyone’ in terms of track type, the area it can fit into, and the budget available for such an asset. “And it is certainly safer than some of the dedicated skate bowls around – this has been well suited to the age of the children who are using it in primary-intermediate school.”

We have to tell you they're not getting the idea.
You saw blade is a ripping saw that's what you said it's because cutting that direction doesn't take that much energy and it is kind of beefy so it doesn't bolts are afraid to upend or and it can heat up and stay straight. This is a good symbol for the vehicle I would like it and we can come up with new ideas and the car the truck or car really be like A like the one he showed that can SUV kind of it would look more like a Troy build vehicle and it looks dirty and Stout hey people buy it 'cause they want that kind of truck and we'll research how big things are like a regular full size stove inside the box and things like that. We're going to go ahead and present this idea it is intense and it is awesome. There are several companies we have in mind that we have an idea that these would sell like madness people are asking how big is it it would be the size of a small SUV but the shape would have a lot more space inside like a Volkswagen Golf has space And we want to make it so you can order it as utility vehicle or an SUV and we'll have one size on 1 vehicle. we wil have attachements and each an electric motor no need for a pto which are dangeorus hard to use.
he adds a winch windless and it means electric and enough to drag it we do it..and a bumber system if one wnts not needed but cooler and good.
i added the bumper Hera says
we add a cooler, spot too and plugs in to theoutlet right on the inside near it
we add a fishng rck system for the rear and or top you can move it but fits boht
we add a normal rack no hd and nice
we add a luggage hold for atop the roof on the rack or smaller self racking
we add tinted windows
we add two tone and mag wheels
we add lrger wheels as an optoin
we add towing packages and two i think yes
we add thetow bar and optoins all troy bilt style
we add a snow plow like i had on my small utility veh. and they are cute but work so add allwheel or four wheel drive
we shall. too. but we add a larger motor and aspriated from the to for coolness
we add a bbq system for out back
we add an offroad package wiht offroad jeck tow package front rear winch light rack racks push grille and bar etc
we add a smooth transiton to this projectyes
good we work
