So I don't know if this counts as a headcanon or a prompt, but I'm gonna share an idea I had for a confession.

The effects of the Shuffle Alliance empathy and 'communicating with your fists' mean that Domon eventually senses that Chibodee is hiding something from him, and dammit, he wants to know what it is. So they're sparring on the beach (as you do), it's very emotionally charged because Domon isn't letting the issue go. Chibodee is understandably distracted and gets hit*. Like, cracked in the mouth and goes flying into the sand. Domon is apologetic, and more concerned than ever about what the hell has gotten into him. With the emotional conflict at a fever pitch, they talk it out on a pier as the sun sets. (Although 'talk' might imply a calmness that isn't there.)

*the hit is why I once described their first kiss as being "rough and needy and a little bloody"

Going into some canon x OC ship territory for All Ships Ship Week at #ficwip, starting with Annadoc! I've been insane over them since 2018 when I first started writing a multichapter fic about them in Phase 0/1 (Over the Dub). Now writing the sequel multichapter fic into Phase 2 (All Out of Song)!

Tell us why you love them:

I got into Gorillaz at a weird point in my life, which is probably the best time to get into them tbh. I'd heard their music way before I properly got into them in 2016 or so, but I fell into the hyperfixation rabbit hole when I realized they weren't just a band, but a cartoon band with lore.

I ate the lore (written by Cass Browne) up immediately. Murdoc was so ridiculously my type it made me mad lol.

Honestly, I just love writing ships that don't go out of their way to change things about the other, but they end up making each other better people anyway. That and ships that can banter and be a little mean between themselves.

I came up with Anna because I initially wondered to myself how Murdoc would handle a partner who was (seemingly) the opposite of him at first glance. It spawned like three fics lol.

This won't ever make it into Falling Out the Sky, but I think that even before Anna moved into Kong, Murdoc would dare her to watch horror movies thinking she'd get scared and cling to him the whole time.

Anna loves horror movies, though, and Murdoc is the one that ends up clinging to her while she watches stone-faced. They stopped watching any horror movies that feature Satanic imagery since he keeps talking over them to point out inaccuracies or laugh at inappropriate times.

Hear Me Out:

It's a Becket Vs Weatherby bit set in the background between CotBP and DMC.

Jack ends up catching wind of the hit and informs James as a favor (to get further into his good graces of course... so what if he takes the opportunity to flirt and try to seduce him?)

Who of course informs Weatherby immediately (and reassigns more guards to protect the Governor's Mansion and government buildings).

When Jack swings back around to keep tabs and to bask in his success, he finds to his Mild Irritation that part of Weatherby faking his own death..... is him aboard the Dauntless.

Now how does he fix this? Maybe the pay off from blackmailing the other assassins will prove useful eh?

Okay Phans

I know that I'm not "that big" in the Phandom, but I gotta say something. 

As you all know, the Amethyst Ocean week is once again upon us (it has been done before, TRUST me), and a lot of you are saying that it's excluding you from the Phandom and you feel left out. 

You know what? 

It's perfectly fine to feel this way. AO week is definitely devoted solely to AO shippers - and there's nothing wrong with that! They love their ship. Why not show it? But as a lot of you have been complaining about feeling left out,  I'm here to present you guys with something for EVERYONE.

First dossier for All Ships Ship Week over at #ficwip! I had to start with my very first OTP. Nothing has topped their relationship for me. I still adore Ichiruki with all my heart.

All canon ship titles that Kubo gave them! Insane!

I shipped them so hard even before I even knew what shipping was. They were the gateway into so many avenues for me, and without them, I don't think I'd even be writing today. I've never loved a ship more than them (or since).

They're so, so good for each other. Ichigo brings out her more assertive side that she hardly ever gets to express, which also pulls her out of her self-sacrificing funks. Rukia dries the rain in his heart (canon metaphor for depression and helplessness) and constantly pushes him to care more about himself and the people around him.

Not to mention canon sun/moon imagery, a canon rescue arc with a twist (she refuses to be saved because she thinks she deserves to suffer for bringing him into her world), and hits like this:

And so many canon moments in-between! The entirety of the manga to me is their love story until the end.

Rewatch/reread your favorite moments:

I don't have the time to rewatch the first two arcs or Fade to Black again, but the ice-skating scene of Episode 342? Always. I love how tenderly he's holding her hand here GODDD:

The reason Ichigo doesn't practice Kido is because no matter what Kido it is, it just blows up in his hands because his reiatsu is too powerful. Rukia is helping him keep that in control slowly but surely.
