My observations of everyone;
The dragon whatever his name is - weak minded individual. He follows what everyone says. Has been married to THREE cheaters now and wants to play advocate for someone who wouldn’t even give someone a chance when he cheated. Hypocrite. People pleaser, which is disgusting. Drug addict, which is sad. Horrible father, laughable man and even more laughable artist. Laughable husband, honestly. Fashion icon? Please. Your country eats everything you do up and for what? Go to prison where you belong ✌🏻
Melissa - most of the above. Horrible wife. Horrible mom. Grow up for the love of god. Hairbows at your big age? LAUGHABLE. See this is why no one takes y’all serious. You two are the biggest babies. Toddling everywhere and you yourselves have toddlers?! It’s not cute.
Don’t really have an opinion on Jay or the other one with the oily face.
Tab - Why the hell does everyone want you to be a good damn person so bad when you’re rotten to the core?! So little Melissa can proudly say she has four husbands who cater to her every whim?!
Jae - LMAO
Key - LMAO
Trinity - girl do better please
Roman - why the fuck are you concerned about a Korean when you have your wife?! A MAN at that! Boy please! 😭 PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.
Allison - Girl you’re so pretty but you do too damn much. No one cares about your little issues and no one cares about what issues you have with your sister. Please stop. It’s embarrassing.
Jey - I’m sad for you. I really am. You had a beautiful girlfriend and you threw all of that away for THAT. And for what? You really truly thought that you would have it better? I don’t believe any of this shit that I’ve been hearing about you and her being soulmates. Soulmates don’t exist. They’re not real. You deserve happiness yes and I don’t care if it’s not with me, not everyone is out to get everyone. I just want karma to hit Demi like a freight train because this goes so far beyond work.
Dom - PLEASE STOP WORRYING ABOUT DEMI I AM SO TIREDDDDDDDD OF IT!

Hey there so I know it’s been a couple months and I haven’t really posted anything like I said I would but life got in the way but now I have more free time. I guess I should start posting again I did make a couple more characters for my little story and I’d like to show you one of them
Backstory: This little cutie here is Bonnie or bonbon. Here’s her backstory at some point Joey wanted to create another female character to go with Alice Angel, so it would be an equal amount of boys and girls in the cartoon so he created Bonnie he decided that he wanted to do a mix between Bendy and Boris and create a little dragon type character he made sure to keep her family friendly so she didn’t scare the little ones and ended up not resembling too much of a dragon, but close enough when she first debuted, she was a tiny toddler. Lots of people adored her, and she starred in a couple of Joeys longer films, but as she grew older people stopped liking her because now she was speaking and overall just had the personality of bendy and most of the audience didn’t want that and lots of mothers didn’t enjoy having Bonnie on the screen because she was too much of a rambunctious little girl and didn’t have any lady like qualities, and overall wasn’t very feminine as Joey got more and more letters and complaints of parents saying that Bonnie was no longer necessary and she was too tomboyish. He eventually took her off the main cast and gave her one final episode and in the episode she just moved away as Boris, Bendy and Allison continued performing. Bonnie was just forced to watch as her siblings and her friend got all the attention and the spotlight Joey paid no attention to Bonnie. He only cared about how much money he was making during the whole Bendy and the ink machine plot, Bonnie was hiding away, trying to find sanctuary in closets and other tiny crawlspaces she eventually met the lost ones and the searchers by this time she was about 5 years old they took care of her and took her in as one of their own when Bendy and Boris left the studio about a year later she left the searchers and lost ones brought her to tune town and eventually to the church where Alexander works. He took her in and cared for her with the other orphan children. She currently resides there at the age of eight rambunctious and a cheerful the lost ones and searchers are allowed to stay with her at the church
Personality: she’s a very outgoing, little one, not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself. She can be quite the troublemaker and has a bit of a mouth on her. She’s not into things like make up dolls, but prefers to play in the mud and play with toy cars, although she doesn’t mind a pretty dress
Appearance: she wears a fluffy overall dress with black buckle shoes, and white gloves She wears a white ruffled shirt and has two wings on her back. She has a tiny tail and a snag tooth
Well, here she is I hope you guys like her and you will be seeing more of her!

Reading Catch Up!
In my first post on this new blog (many moons ago...) I mentioned that I'd be keeping folks up to date on what I'm reading! That didn't happen, haha. But, I've really gotten back into reading this year, and I want to report all the great books I've read so far, and some thoughts on them! There's 15 of 'em, so get ready!
Let's go!
first things first:
The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
I started reading this in early 2022 or so. A friend gave me a hearty recommendation for it and I decided to give it a go! After too long, I finally finished it and loved it to pieces. This is a great book, with rich characters and very sharp wit. I recommend it for fans of historical fiction (which it was even for its time, haha) and particularly longing kinds of romance.
4.5/5 Stars from me!
Little, Big: Or, the Faerie's Parliament by John Crowley
This is a beeeg book, and one that is sort of difficult to describe. It's in parts a generational epic, historical fiction, urban fantasy, and a bit of this and that all in between. Its plot sort of unfolds over the course of a lot of smaller stories that entwine into one, and I think that's really cool! It's one of those books that runs 90% on vibes-- if you like the vibes, you'll probably like it a lot! But it's also a book where if someone told me they just didn't like it at all, I'd completely understand, haha.
Another 4.5/5 Stars from me!
A Far Wilder Magic by Allison Saft
This one I had my eye on for a while due to the beautiful cover by Em Allen, whose work I'd followed for a bit! My High Fantasy project also involves a magical hunt and is in third present, so I figured this book would be good for inspiration on that front as well! The funny thing about this book in particular is that I was able to tell pretty clearly where the author got some inspiration. I don't think that's a problem, it just amuses me as a fellow Fullmetal Alchemist fan, hehe.
I'm curious if there will be more stories in this setting, or following these characters. I would be interested in that, especially since-- while I liked this book-- I felt this one had a few bumps in the road. Still, I'd recommend it.
4/5 Stars from me!
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
I love this book, I love this book, I love this book~! This is the book that fully convinced me to commit to third-present perspective for my aforementioned High Fantasy project. Its prose is gorgeous, its world is interesting, its characters are likable-- really, I just liked it an awful, awful lot. It's yet another book where I could understand why some people wouldn't like it that much, but it struck a big chord with me. Please read it (if you'd like to).
5/5 Stars from me (wow!)
The Poe Clan by Moto Hagio (Volume 1)
I have the second volume of the omnibus, but I haven't read it yet. This was just the nicest picture online I could find of the cover of the first volume-- weird, right?? I actually started reading this book in 2022 as well, but it's a pretty chonky read and episodic, so I dipped in and out throughout the year. I finished the first volume in early 2023 and really enjoyed it! It's a great piece of vintage manga with beautiful art and an entertaining, very Capital-R Romantic story.
4/5 Stars from me!
(You may notice...I like a lot of books, haha. Onward!)
The Tropic of Serpents: A Memoir by Lady Trent by Marie Brennan
This is a sequel to A Natural History of Dragons by the same author. You should read that one first! Both books are a lot of fun, and this one is no different! They're good books to read quickly, I think, because they've got a very adventurous quality to them-- after all, they're sort of calling back to old adventure serial novels! This one especially seems to draw from that tradition, but does so in a new way that smartly plays with the exoticization of "non-Western" cultures that often occurred in those old novels. Give it a go if you like adventures and dragons (and the first novel)!
4/5 Stars from me
Galileo's Daughter: A Historical Memoir of Science, Faith, and Love by Dava Sobel
This book is an odd one out in that it's non-fiction! Wow! This was another recommendation from a friend (the same friend who recommended me Age of Innocence!) and I enjoyed it immensely. It's an interesting piece of historical work, and it's fun to read to boot! I found myself feeling very emotional by the end. I recommend it if this historical period and its case of characters interests you in any way.
4.5/5 Stars from me!
Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
Susanna Clarke is an author who's been on my radar for a while, mainly because I really liked what I read of Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, but...it's a really long book, and I got very busy, and I haven't been able to dive back into it yet. Someday! But, Piranesi is much shorter, and a very different book in a lot of ways. It's a fun mystery, and I won't spoil it since it's the kind of mystery that gives very fun re-read bonuses when you go back to it. When I wrote about it on Storygraph, I mentioned that it would be a good read for fans of the game Cultist Simulator. There are some very similar vibes here...
4.5/5 Stars from me! (Though maybe it's closer to 5? I tend to reserve 5's for books that really change my brain chemistry. I don't think this one quite managed that, but I really did like it a lot. High 4.5!)
Legendborn by Tracy Deonn
Another recommendation from a friend (different friend from the one mentioned earlier, but another friend with good taste, haha)! Legendborn is a newer YA series playing with the King Arthur legend. I do like some Arthurian stuff, and this book does some very cool, very clever things with it! The emotional core of the story is very raw, so it can be a bit heavy at times; however, that's not a detriment to my recommendation of it. It's got all sorts of great twists, turns, commentary, and characters that you want to root for to the very end!
I'm looking forward to reading the sequel, but I need to get through more of my TBR stack first!
4/5 Stars from me!
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
Do you like books? This book likes books, and storytelling in general! Its plot is more mysterious at first compared to The Night Circus (which is saying something given the way that book is set up), but when it gets going, it really gets going! It's another book where I liked it a lot, but I can see why it wouldn't grab some folks. I want to re-read both sometime to see if my thoughts change, but right now I think I like The Night Circus just a little more. Just a little bit. This book is still fantastic, and a big recommend from me!
4.5/5 Stars from me (maybe that'll turn into a 5 on a re-read? Like Piranesi, it's a really high 4.5).
Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett
Discworld, my beloved...it's been too long. I love Terry Pratchett's work immensely. Night Watch in particular is still hanging on to my top five favorite books of all time! If you know anything about that book, it's very obvious that I love it very, very much. I've read the City Watch subseries a lot, and a good chunk of the Death subseries, but the Witches subseries had been pretty neglected on my part, so I'm going back to it! Wyrd Sisters is early Discworld, which means it's still getting all those things that make Pterry's work so, so especially good, but it's still a really fun time and I'd recommend it! I'm looking forward to reading more in this subseries for sure!
4/5 Stars from me!
Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett
Speaking of the Witches...Equal Rites is technically the first book in the Witches subseries, but it's a bit of an odd duck in that regard. Going backwards from Wyrd Sisters to it is a strange experience, since there's so much different between even just a few early Discworld novels! It's...fine. "Just fine" from Terry Pratchett is still pretty good overall, but while I overall enjoyed my read and felt very interested by the end (where it really picks up!), a lot of the novel just didn't grab me like other, later Discworld books do. Even without that considered, it just doesn't pick up as much steam until later.
A solid 3/5 Stars from me! It's Okay!
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
This one's familiar for anyone who's been on tumblr long enough, haha. I remember this book getting really popular years and years ago, but I never got around to reading it myself until just this year, when my writing group had it for book club! It's definitely a good read, full of heart and very clear knowledge on the subject matter! Miller puts in a ton of excellent detail about the language, the history, and other stories from around the period. I think it's a wonderful interpretation of the legend, and I'd recommend it for anyone with an interest in Greek myth (I would also just recommend it to anyone in general, but you know).
4/5 Stars from me!
Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater
This book was really fun! That doesn't feel completely accurate to say, since it also handles some pretty heavy subject matter, but it's true! It handles its darker elements deftly, and its lighter elements with a good touch. It's a nice blend, and I liked this spin on the Regency Romance and the historical fantasy. The more I read, the more it started to remind me of the works of Diana Wynne Jones (folks who can't recall the name would know her as the author of Howl's Moving Castle, a book I love and heartily recommend!). That's always a positive to me.
A solid 4/5 Stars from me! I liked it a lot and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
The Latch Key by Olivia Atwater
Last one! This is a very short novella set almost immediately after Half a Soul. It's very heartfelt and sweet, and it made me smile (and tear up) to read. Again, looking forward to reading the rest of this series, and seeing more of these very lovable characters!
4/5 Stars from me!
PHEW! That's everything! I don't mind writing a big ol' post like this sometimes, but that's a lot of typing! And a lot of books! Just about five or six months at that (I'm not counting most of June because I've been re-reading my own book in preparation for final revisions)!
If you find something you like, let me know!

it annoys me more than it perhaps should that, because of the differences in the art styles between dragon age 2 and inquisition, your hawke always looks so drastically different
#perhaps it's just me being terrible in the CC but I *cannot* make allison look like herself#though perhaps this will help cushion the blow when my inquisitor asks her to remain in the fade.......#at least until she has to tell varric#jessica plays dragon age

On Alistair and Play
I have been making a really solid attempt at keeping my nose out of drama, and in all fairness, I haven’t had a lot of time to get caught up in the most recent distressing comments about our beloved Alistair. However, the commentary on twitter flew all over me for a lot of different reasons that I don’t feel comfortable staying quiet about.
For those of you who are not followers of former DA Lead writer David Gaider, he recently tweeted about how he is surprised that Alistair was not in a list of “worse dates” because he is a “manchild” who would be more interested in his Lego collection than his partner.
Other comments in response to Gaider were a mixture of people talking about how he is too boyish and immature to be a good partner and how his “baby talk” conversations just turned off the romance.
And OK, cool! If Alistair is not your cup ‘o’ tea, that is perfectly fine. There are plenty of us out here who love and admire him for the wonderful goofball he is. However this line of thought and the language used to describe him is incredibly toxic and the whole reason so many grown adults are emotionally stunted.
Play is an incredibly important activity for all living creatures. It is a way to relieve stress and it is a way to learn and grow. Human beings, both young and old, benefit from having fun. The ability to maintain youthful wonderment in the face of adversity is a positive feature for a friend, lover, parent, etc. In mental health we call this self-care or recreation or whatever works to encourage people to do it because it is GOOD FOR YOU and it helps you have the emotional and mental capacity to help others as well.
Additionally, humor is considered a higher order defense mechanism, and the ability to laugh and cut up when the world is falling apart is a strength. One of my favorite psychologists I work with always says, “When you are looking for a partner, make sure that you find someone who can make you laugh, even when you are angry at them. Find someone who helps you have fun and appreciate the imperfection that is a relationship”.
Seriousness DOES NOT equal maturity. It simply doesn’t. The world is hard and cold and mean. People who can hang on to any of the positive parts of youth for as long as they can are lucky and admirable. We need to stop associating maturity with stress and stoicism.
And while we are on the topic, we need to stop treating immaturity as an inherently negative quality. In Dragon Age Origins, Alistair is 20 years old. By developmental standards he is still maturing physically, mentally and emotionally. Then he gets saddled with the loss of the only family he really knows, saving the world, and potentially being king. Sure, he’s goofy, but he also knows when to turn it off and be serious. Personally, I think he is doing great.
If maturity mandates that I be serious all the time, I want no part of it. You can find me in the corner playing Legos with Ali.
#dragon age#alistair theirin#fandom critical#dragon age origins#allison rants#listen yall im so tired#its fine to not like alistair#but to derogatarily speak about playfulness as if its a bad quality just grinds my gears#yall real adults have fun with your chronic seriousness#imma go play legos with Alistair

Bioware, why couldn't we take anyone else with us on the Hock Heist? I know it's a dlc, but I wish it could have been grander. Almost similar to the Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts quest for my fellow Dragon Age players, just not as big and time-consuming. Mostly, I wanted the chance to interact with the squad more and listen to banter. Have them in set positions around the mansion where you can find and talk to them. Then, there would be areas where you could bring a squadmate or two alongside you & Kasumi for the actual mission aspects of the heist. Shepard I mean, Solomon/Allison Gunn would be able to pass their crew off as their entourage. Ez pz.
Some interactions that come to mind:
Shepard having to warn Grunt not to overdo it at the buffet (or with the alcohol selection). Spoiler alert, he does. If he's brought to the mission segments, the other squadmates comment on the sound of his stomach giving their position away. Grunt starts to threaten them with bodily harm, but groans mid-sentence because baby got a tummy ache.
Garrus and Thane are scoping out the room together, pointing out the numerous flaws in Hock's security by the time Shep finds them. Shepard tells them that they need a distraction to sneak over the ledge into Hock's quarters. Garrus' response? "Oh, a distraction? Why didn't you just say so?" Shepard says that maybe it has to do with him being a horrible actor. Before his ego can take offense to that, Thane hisses out for Garrus to play along, then takes him by surprise when he slaps him, loud enough for several others nearby to hear. (Thane apologizes later in private, especially if Shep takes them both on a mission segment together. Garrus' pride is more wounded than his actual face. Cue intense turian pouting). What ensues is something straight out of a soap opera. Loud quarreling, exaggerated gesturing, and terrible acting. Ended with a kiss for dramatic effect also for my shipper heart. Safe to assume, they definitely have all eyes on them by the end, and the criminal types at that party aren't the kind to break up some weird domestic dispute when they can watch the scandal unfold right before their eyes instead.
Miranda kicking ass in a dress and heels. Also, charming the socks off of Chief Roe in order to get the audio file of her voice for Kasumi to use if your Shepard chooses to gain access to Hock's quarters that way.
#i could go on and on#mass effect 2#mass effect#commander shepard#garrus vakarian#thane krios#urdnot grunt#miranda lawson#vakarios#shakarios#bluerose rambles

Riko Moriyama, The Dragon-Type Gym Leader
Team:
- Haxorus
- Hydreigon
- Garchomp
- Tyrantrum
- Salamence
- Kingdra
Dragon-types are often considered the best, most powerful type in the pokemon world, especially before the introduction of fairy types in Gen VI. They have very high stats on average, access to very powerful moves, and very few weaknesses. They are often among the most-used pokemon in each generation, and the most remembered. Of the 9 pseudo-legendary pokemon, 7 are dragon types, and even those which are not pseudo-legendaries are usually incredibly powerful. Riko is someone obsessed with power and image, blinded to all else in his pursuit of them, of course he would be attracted to this type
dan & electric | kevin & ice | andrew & steel | matt & grass | aaron & ground | seth & fire | allison & normal | nicky & bug | renee & dark | neil & ghost | wymack & psychic | riko & dragon |
- Haxorus: While not a pseudo-legendary (a three-stage pokemon with a base stat total of 600) Haxorus is still a large and imposing dragon type that loves to fight others to establish its dominance. Notably, it has knives on its face, and we know that Riko loves knives
- Hydreigon: A pseudo-legendary. I gave Riko as many pseudo-legendaries as would fit him, and he ultimately ended up with 3, which is a LOT. That's the sort of team that a 9-year-old boy would make because dragons are the coolest. Sure the pokemon are technically powerful, but it's a simplistic appraoch to play. Anyway, Hydreigon is probably the nastiest of the pseudo-legendaries, and Riko's pokemon in general. This brutal pokemon delights in chaos and destruction, attacking anything that moves and demolishing everything in its path. However, since the introduction of the fairy-type, this pokemon sees a lot less use given that is has a 4x weakness
- Garchomp: Another pseudo-legendary. Choosing them was really more a matter of which do NOT match Riko, not so much which ones do. Non-dragon-types Tyranitar and Metagross are out. The cutesy dragon-types Dragonite and Goodra are out, because they would threaten Riko's machismo. Neil gets Dragapult, and Kommo-o is a very noble pokemon. That leaves Hydreigon, Salamence, and Garchomp. Garchomp is only known for its incredible speed, so it has no reason NOT to be associated with Riko
- Tyrantrum: Tyrantrum is the corollary Gen VI fossil pokemon to Aurorus, a pokemon on Kevin's team. Called the "Despot Pokemon", compared multiple times to a king, and with 'tyrant' and 'tantrum' in its name, we have the picture of Tyrantrum being a strong pokemon that was spoiled by a lack of balance in its ecosystem, leading it to overstep its bounds. I am actually firmly in the camp that Riko was not an inherently bad person, but rather someone in a bad situation, who was given too much power at too young an age and who had no good role models. He is childish, selfish, and disconnected from reality, but he is still a child. I don't know if he could have changed, and I don't think there was anything unfair about his death, but I don't want to lose sight of the situation that made him
Salamence: Salamence is in the same situation as Garchomp, in that it's a pseudo-legendary dragon-type that has nothing in its lore that would make it a BAD fit for Riko. As someone who only values power, and seeks to break and reshape individual personalities to suit his needs, the fact that Riko's team is rather impersonal is intentional. However, Salamence grew its wings and gained the ability to fly because it was its lifelong wish, and it's desire reshaped its very DNA. Being the greatest Exy player and forming his Perfect Court is Riko's greatest wish. It doesn't make a lot of sense, actually, but he's committed himself to it so deeply he's unable to see that. He'll reshape reality before he accepts it
- Kingdra: Listen I needed a final dragon-type for the team. Kingdra has 'king' in it. It's flimsy but whatever, it's an impersonal team anyway we've been over this

Tea Party
rating: fluffy
warning: canon typical hargreeves family shenanigans. five is a little murdery - its fine
words: 1.7K
AO3
summary: Five has a plan. It does not survive contact with his niece.
Five was absolutely going to blame Klaus for everything. It could only be his fault that Five found himself dressed in a fairy princess dress with matching nails and makeup, attending a tea party.
That morning, Allison had picked up Claire from the airport — Patrick was apparently shooting some sort of documentary in Africa over the summer and didn’t want to leave Claire with somebody in LA or take her with him. Thus Allison got temporary custody while Patrick was away.
Mom was over the moon, loving the chance to meet her granddaughter. Klaus and Ben were almost as excited and Five knew that Vanya and Diego were quietly eager as well, all of them counting down the day until they met their niece. Luther had flown out with Allison earlier in the year for Allison’s court hearing and got to meet Claire in California.
Five was mostly indifferent. He had never interacted with kids before and didn’t really care to now. He remembered what absolute brats his siblings were at that age — even Vanya — and he didn’t want to get mixed up in that nonsense again. He figured he’d be there to greet Allison and meet Claire and then find ways to not be at the Mansion for most of the summer.
It was a solid plan. He just didn’t account for the rest of his siblings. He was working in Dad’s old office — the seven of them had gone to town on the room, breaking everything in sight, even starting some small fires (Klaus) that were very quickly put out. Afterward, they had given Five the room and told him to do things dad wouldn’t be proud of. Five ignored what Klaus was implying with that statement (that was paired with a pair of waggling eyebrows) and gladly moved into the study.
He had planned on working on his equations to get his adult body back— he had hoped to get them done before the new year but as he sat squished into a child’s chair, sipping at imaginary tea he saw those plans go up in smoke. Five knew — to the bottom of his soul — that he wasn’t going to be able to avoid his family this summer.
“Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to stay. I have work to be doing and this is not going to help.” Five was dead set on leaving this ridiculous thing.
“Oh, what are you working on Uncle Five?”
“I need to finish my quantum equation so that I may return to my adult body. It’s work that’s far beyond the intelligence of anyone currently living in this house.”
“That sounds amazing!” Claire’s voice was appropriately amazed.
Claire was absolutely brilliant and he couldn’t let his dumbass siblings mess that up. Obviously that meant he’d have to be more involved in her plans during the summer to run interference against his brothers. He knew, he just knew, that their idiocy would spread and he couldn’t have that.
Klaus was muttering about princesses and dragons and magic...Five narrowed his eyes and quietly began to make plans on how to limit Claire’s exposure to him. That sort of nonsense was ok — barely — in small doses but Klaus was not a small dose and with him not working...Klaus was going to be a problem.
There was a loud crash followed by yelling and cursing and Five frowned. It was Luther and Diego in the foyer and he didn’t even want to begin imagining what kind of bad habits they could impart on Claire, the fools. He distinctly remembered a phone call threatening a defenseless old woman because those morons thought she had killed Elliot. Which reminded him, he needed to figure out what languages Claire spoke so he could help fill it out with more practical languages. Five guessed she might have Spanish and French, but he had a list of languages that would be more useful to know.
Ben’s laughter grew as Luther and Diego’s cursing did and Five mentally crossed him off his list. Ben had spent too long with only Klaus to talk to — he couldn’t be trusted to make good choices. He might be a good partner on some trips though, isolate him from their brothers.
A selection from the Phantom of the Opera grew louder in response to the nonsense happening in the foyer and Five grinned. He’d have to get Vanya on board with his plans — musical ability was high on the list of things Claire should know and it would be helpful to have an ally in his fight. Claire might even ask for lessons herself if he talked about it in the right way.
Allison...might be an issue. Five was planning on hogging her daughter — but he remembers the fights for the bathroom and the sharp pains of Allison’s elbows. He didn’t need a reminder from her this summer. Nor was he going to allow that sort of senseless violence to come from Claire. Instead, he wanted to nurture a more targeted violence. Claire looked like she had inherited Allison’s pointed elbows and Five had plans for those things. Plans.
Five dove deeper into his thoughts, all but ignoring every happening around him.
*
“Do you think he knows we can hear him?” Diego didn’t know whether to be insulted or amused. He had rushed home as soon as he could to meet Claire but had run into Luther right in the foyer. It has set off one of their common fights which Allison had to break up. Afterward, she dragged him up to Claire’s new room where they were greeted with prime blackmail material — Five playing dress-up and having a tea party with their brother and niece.
“You think we’d still be alive if we saw this?” Allison did have a good point but on the other hand-
“He hasn’t hurt Klaus, yet.”
“Klaus is probably the reason he’s in the dress.”
“Not Claire?”
“She doesn’t really care for tea parties but she does like messing with people.” Allison sounded smug and proud, a tone that had Diego instinctively shuddering.
“Really?”
“Remind me to tell you the story about the third babysitter.”
Diego gave her a harsh side-eye at that and made the silent decision to never do that. He looked again at Five and Klaus playing pretty princesses and happened to see the glint in Claire’s eyes and knew that Claire was more like Allison then he thought. He remembers the Fight for the Bathroom and wanted no part in a round two.
“Is...is he planning on weaponizing my daughter?” Allison’s voice broke his train of thought and he focused on what Five saying more then what he was wearing and it...concerned him slightly.
“Yes. He is planning on weaponizing her. And I think he might be planning on killing me and Luther.”
“Well, that’s understandable.”
“What’s understand...able?” Luther and Ben’s echoed question slowly trailed off as they spotted the same thing that stopped Diego and Allison earlier. Diego was only slightly wary of Ben’s smile, reminding himself that Ben had spent several years with only Klaus for company.
“Five is planning our murder.” Diego threw Five under the bus with no shame.
“Why?” Luther sounded confused.
“Do you really think he needs a specific reason?”
“Well, I’d hope he’d have at least one.”
“...he grew up with us.” Allison’s tone was dry.
“He realizes that we also grew up with him right?” Diego muttered under his breath as he tried to remember where Mom left the camera. He wanted physical proof that this party was happening.
“Oh, he probably conveniently forgot that side of the story. Is he planning on using Claire and her el-elbows?!” Ben sounded mildly impressed but Diego saw Luther shuddered and finally had some proof that Luther had a brain somewhere in his giant head.
“From the sounds of it, he doesn’t want our idiocy to infect Claire.”
“Soooo...he’s planning on killing us?” Diego had to sound incredulous. Five was skipping like seven different steps that should happen before murder.
“Oh, he’s been at it for a while. Murder is just the latest step of his master plan,” Klaus finally piped up from his seat in the room, proving that the three of them could actually hear them.
“Yeah, but he’s not going to do anything but plan. Right, Uncle Five?” Claire’s voice was sweet on the surface but Diego knew better. The males present in the room all froze and paled several shades. That tone was all pre-teen Allison and the terror they felt was ingrained.
Only Five was brave enough to start talking, “Claire, I don’t think you-”
Claire only raised an eyebrow at him and he shut his mouth quickly and violently. Diego laughed a little under his breath but the way that Claire slowly turned to look at him muted his laughter.
“Why don’t you all come join us!”
*
Grace hummed under her breath a little, stacking the cookies she had just finished baking. Her darling granddaughter had asked for some chocolate chip cookies made with love and Grace was hopeless to refuse. She finished with the cookies and moved to take them to Claire’s room. She met Vanya on the landing, Vanya coming from her music room, and Grace offered her a cookie.
“Thanks, Mom. But why?”
“Oh! Claire was telling me she was planning on having a tea party with everyone and wanted some cookies for it.”
“They’re having a tea party?” Vanya sounded both ignored and delighted.
“Well, I believe that your brothers were pressed into it but I'm sure they’ll be glad to have you join them.” Grace hummed a little, wanting to make her youngest daughter happy again.
She got her wish when they came to Claire’s room and Vanya’s laughter rang out over the conversation happening at Claire’s kid-sized table. Grace smothered a smile, not wanting to hurt anybody’s pride but helpless all the same to prevent the smile from forming in the first place. She agreed with Vanya’s laughter. Her boys did look somewhat ridiculous, dressed in badly fitting princess dresses as they were.
“Not. A. Word.” Her lovely Diego uttered what he thought was a threat but Grace knew that nobody was going to take him seriously — not with his tiara falling off and his make-up smudged.
“Auntie Vanya! Gramma! Join us?”
Grace and Vanya shared smiles and went to get changed — they were attending a royal tea party. They couldn’t wear just anything after all.

The House of Magic is creative! Is there a link with this plot that has Derek and Peter? I guess Theo is the villain? Mmm... not my first choice but fitting. The magic is strange except necromancy, telepathy and pryomancy. The rest are like made up names?
Hi :) I'm so sorry I took ages to respond! Thank you, that's very nice of you to say.
No, I haven't written any story in relation to the gifset, though, that would be something! And hell yes, Derek and Peter would be in the hypothetical fic, of course, maybe as head of specific realms.
Actually, I linked the source page in the original post so that the magic could be explained, but let me sum it up real quick: (this is limited to the types of magic I included in the gifset btw) (and no, I didn't make those up XD)
Dismancers: (Stiles) learn the ability to manipulate others' emotions and are often playing pranks and mischievous. Utaumancers: (Kira) learn the ability to manipulate others emotions and are often peppy and exciting. Zomancers: (Liam) control mystical wildlife familiars. Domimancers: (Scott) summon mythical creatures (dragons, chimeras, the like). Seimancers: (Erica) commune with ghosts. Lunamancers: (Allison) get their magic from the moon. Tempumancers: (Boyd) learn the ability to go into the past, and sometimes the future. Umbramancers: (Jackson) manipulate the shadow and darkness. And you're already familiar with the two, but here goes to complete the list: Pyromancers: (Lydia) are fire magicians, while Necromancers: (Theo) can revive the dead.
Theo is not the villain, though, with his magic, he will be treated as one. And maybe for a while, he will play the role, too :) In addition, this was created for the steo ship, hence their appearance as the main two in the gifset and the focus in the blurb.
Thank you so much for your interest! I enjoyed talking about it and taking my mind off work even for a short time. I'm linking the source page for your convenience here.

About Me
I keep forgetting that Tumblr has this neat little pin function that would be really good for introducing myself and giving folks some pertinent information before you follow and/or interact with me or my content, so, here goes!
Hi everyone! My name’s Allison, and I am relatively new here (to Fallout 4 fandom, not to Tumblr. I’ve been on Tumblr since 2015.) I started playing FO4 in April 2020, and I made the silly mistake of actually caring that I’d run off all my Dragon Age followers from my main blog (@allisondraste) with my new interest, so I made anentire sideblog and here we are. So if you get a like, follow, ask or reply from @allisondraste, that’s me!
I am going to put the rest of this About Me under a Read More to be mindful of space, and of people’s dashes. :)
Basic Information
Preferred name: Allison! (But honestly if you come up with a nickname for me, I’m probably going to be cool with it.)
Preferred pronouns: She/Her, but I’m also fine being called They/Them
Sexuality: Asexual
Real life occupation: Psychology Doctoral Intern (at the time of posting. If you read this after August 1st 2021, I’ll just be a Psychologist)
Things I do in fandom: Art, fanfiction, meta/lore, shitposting, reblogging/supporting other creators
Other fandom’s I’ve participated in: Dragon Age, Inuyasha
Where else you can find me:
Main Blog
Twitter
Instagram
Archive of Our Own
Fallout 4 Specific Information
Preferred faction: Minutemen!
Favorite characters: Preston, MacCready, Hancock, Piper, Nick, Sturges, Ronnie
Characters that I am occasionally critical about, but 100% support other people liking them:
OTP(s): Preston/SoSu, Sturges/Danse, Piper/Sullivan, any of my friends’ ships tbh
BroTP(s): Preston & Piper, Preston & Sturges, MacCready & SoSu, Hancock & SoSu
NoTP(s): I don’t think I have one other than just “broadly abusive.”
General Preferences for Interaction
I’ll start by saying that this isn’t a “do not follow if” section (with the exception of bigots and general jerks). This is more of a “if you follow me, please be aware of and respect my boundaries” section. I’ve not always had the greatest experience in fandom and it’s made me very wary of new spaces.
So here are some things to know:
I have opinions (tm) about characters and lore, and I will openly state those on my blog. It does not bother me if you disagree and I am always welcoming of good faith discussion and debate. However I prefer that anything extra critical of my faves, my ideas, or me, be kept out of the notes of my posts. I will never attack anyone for their opinions or preferences, either.
If I want constructive criticism, I will ask for it. I create content for fun and for free, so unless something I’ve made is unintentionally harmful, I would rather not receive that kind of feedback. If I do make something unintentionally harmful, please let me know so that I can address it. I do my research and try to be sensitive, but I’m aware that I am not immune to mistakes.
I cannot stress this next point enough: I am new here. This means that I literally have absolutely nary an idea about the history of fandom drama and discourse. Zip. Zilch. Nada. I can promise you that, even though I am not a fan of the BoS (just for example, and anecdotally), any criticism about the BoS is never directed towards people who do like the BoS. I understand that we are all different people with different backgrounds and our reaction to the same content may be different.
That being said, if you aren’t someone who likes to see BoS critical content, then my blog might not be for you. I do, however, like Paladin Danse as well as several other characters who are part of the BoS, so it’s really a mixed bags.
I am not a fan of discourse and would prefer not to participate in it. I am also completely against personal attacks based on assumptions drawn from fictional preferences.
I keep my blog safe for work, and I will never reblog explicit content, even if I like it.
I really really really really really really hate Preston settlement jokes. I know it’s a meme and an old tradition, but I really hate it. I also do not enjoy content in which he is abused, killed, etc., so please be aware that I may unfollow or not follow back if you regularly share these things.
I love being tagged in things! Never question if it’s okay or if I will be annoyed. I am ALWAYS happy to be tagged, even if I can’t always find time to answer them.
My ask box is always open and I leave my anons on. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or just wanna say “hey!” feel free to see me there. Please don’t send nasty anons.
Thanks for taking the time to read all of thi and for getting to know me! I hope to see you around :D

omg hey i’m back. i just saw a gif of Klaus and would like to request literally anything with Klaus Hargreeves pls and thank you love u xx
He’s sitting on the countertop, wearing a long white dress and orange flip-flops, sipping from a tall Starbucks cup. Now, this would have been strange enough as is, but it also happens to be 3 a.m.
You lean against the kitchen doorframe, crossing your arms against the chill biting at your bare arms. “Hey, buddy. Wanna tell me how you got into my flat?”
Klaus looks at you then, eyes widening like he’s surprised to see you here. In your own kitchen. “Y/N, my very own Y/N-dear. How’ve you been? We haven’t talked in ages.”
You pluck the cup from his hand, ignoring his protests, and sniff its contents. It doesn’t smell too bad--ridiculously sweet and syrupy, sure, but most of Starbucks’ drinks are like that--and the cup is still warm, so you assume it’s fresh and give it back to him. “No, we haven’t. But that wasn’t my fault, was it?”
Klaus pouts. “You left! Dad was so devastated when you left. And it wasn’t long after that Allison left, and then Diego left... and I ended up all alone.”
“I told you to come with me,” you say, hopping onto the counter next to him. “I gave you the choice of going or staying and you stayed.”
“I was high at the time. I didn’t know you were serious.”
“I’m always serious.”
“I know.” He blows a raspberry, swishing his cup about and you watch it out of the corner of your eye, internally muttering threats on a loop. If you spill that stuff on my floor... “You’re always serious. So serious. No fun to be around at all.”
“Oh, hush. I had to keep the lot of you out of trouble somehow.”
“Always acting like you were the oldest... when we were all born on the same damn day...”
“Klaus. Take one look at the family and tell me I was wrong for keeping an eye on you.”
“Yeah, you did a mighty fine job, didn’t you?”
The remark wasn’t meant maliciously--hell, Klaus Hargreeves hasn’t got one malicious bone in his body, which is how you know the comment wasn’t meant to hurt you, and yet it did. It did, because it’s true; because he’s managed to pinpoint the reason for your leaving in eight words.
“I tried,” you say curtly, looking away, picking at an old scar on your forearm.
“Hey,” he says, scooting closer to you and nudging you with an elbow (the drink inside the now-open Starbucks cup sloshes dangerously close to the edge and you have to try your best not to hiss). “Hey. I didn’t mean that--like--it’s not your fault we ended up as screwed up as we did.”
You look into his eyes; the wide but oh so genuine eyes you’ve loved since childhood. “I know.”
He’s silent for a moment, lapping at the drink and suppressing a yawn here and there. “I don’t blame you for leaving, you know.”
“No? I felt horrible at the time. Still do, sometimes.”
“You got out. Dad always had a particular hatred for you, didn’t he?” Then he frowns and mutters something unintelligible and you narrow your eyes, but he continues; “Always talked to you with that venom in his voice. Didn’t tolerate the slightest mistake from you. And you were his punching bag when things went wrong.”
He’s right. But what he doesn’t know--still doesn’t know, after almost twelve years--is that most of that was deliberate. On your part at least. Because if he was busy hurting you, it meant he couldn’t hurt any of the others.
“He’s not my dad,” you say decisively. “Never has been, never will be.” It’s taken you years to acknowledge. Years of working through your fucking mess of a childhood in therapy to finally conclude that you don’t have to recognise this man as your father. You don’t have to do shit.
Klaus peers at you over the top of his cup, eyes sparkling, legs swinging over the edge of the counter. Then he smiles. “Yeah. You got out.”
For a single second, you think you can see something flicker on Klaus’ right. Just a shimmer in the air, but it catches your eye nonetheless. Then you elect it was probably your fatigued mind playing tricks on you and shake your head.
“So do you need a ride? Do you want, like, a place to crash? ‘Cause--” you yawn-- “my couch is available. Should you need it.”
Klaus sniffs. “Nah. I’ll be off in a minute. But I’m gonna hold you to that offer, Origami.” The nickname--the age-old nickname that you earned after you decided that the energy from the bursts of anger you often felt could be channeled into something more useful and less harmful than blowing holes in your bedroom wall, like folding pieces of paper into cranes or dragons. It brings back memories, both good and bad, and you pretend the corners of your eyes didn’t just start to prick.
After tossing the empty cup into the trashcan next to your fridge, Klaus slides off the counter and stretches. “I’ll get going, then.”
You watch him go, hands on the cold plastic surface of your kitchen aisle, tired mind a little slow to react. Then, when you hear the doorknob turn, something else clicks and you frown.
“You still haven’t told me how you got into my house, prick.”
Klaus waves, doesn’t turn around. “Spare key in the secret compartment behind the fake doorbell, sweet Origami. Wasn’t hard to guess.” He then looks to his left and pulls a mocking face, but then sends you a wink over his shoulder. “You haven’t changed a bit.”

i’ve been getting rivalry points with merrill with my new hawke, allison, and initially got annoyed about it
then I realised it’s perfectly in character for both of them
allison has always been the protector of her family and is well accustomed to the strict rules bethany has to live by: don’t draw attention to yourself around templars, no blood magic, no demons. ally’s increasingly breaking the former, but she still intuitively sticks to the latter two (so she’s gonna destroy those blood mage tomes, she’s not gonna do deals with demons, and she’s gonna express disapproval in people who do). also, now that she’s failed and beth has been taken to the circle, she desperately wants to protect merrill, who she adores.
whereas merrill wants to be treated like an adult and make her own decisions, including being able to rationally use blood magic and deal with demons in a careful way. ally’s inadvertently belittling her, even though the two otherwise get along well.
#allison hawke#it's not even that allison hates what merrill's done or disagrees with her desire to fix the mirror#she's just worried about the blood magic and demon thing and sees merrill as someone to protect#which (understandably) annoys merrill#could I actually have a rivalry that doesn't involve hawke being a complete dick to the companion and them sticking around regardless? maybe#jessica plays dragon age

HOLDEN STEVENS is a 28 year old PANSEXUAL, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER here in Firebrand City. People say they look a lot like ALLISON WILLIAMS. They are LIVELY but can be HEEDLESS. They are a HUMAN SLAVE in Firebrand, they work as a SEXWORKER.
{ penned by reg, 26, cst }
i.
holden was born into a family of wannabe aristocratic lowlives: old money, social ladder climbers and bottom feeders who had gotten richer and richer through dubious ways that nobody was exactly clear about. But the Stevens always started at the bottom and somehow elbowed their way to the top. Their alliances and loyalties were never clear, they were ready to sell their souls to the highest bidder, switch teams at the drop of a hat.
ii.
holden was the youngest of twelve, all siblings destined to be married off into even richer families, bigger names and even royalty from around the world, nothing else mattered: they went to boarding school, finishing school, anything to make them poised, polite, worldly, educated, graceful, charming.
iii.
holden was a spitfire. she never seemed able to sit still or stop talking, she asked many questions and wanted to learn everything. she was definitely a charmer, a smart ass that had everyone in the room cracking up more often than not. Her charisma, paired with her wits, her looks and her athleticism were sure to make her rise to the top of the food chain when she was off age to be married to the highest bidder.
iv.
And then there was a war.
v.
holden was not stupid, far from it. Especially being in her mid and late teens when all the talk about war exploded in and around her house. The mansion had always been wrapped in artificial quiet, “shop talk” was unbecoming, especially around the “ladies”, and she despised it. So she started eavesdropping more and more and she was impressed at the amount of times she would hear her father and his business partners and her older brothers talk about vampires and dragons and supernaturals and deals and money, money, so much money. And she had never been a fan of her family and the way they had done things but it was enough to make her blood run cold and make her lose sleep for the rest of her life as a “free” human to know that they were preparing to turn against their own kind; human against human, coward sycophants that wanted to earn the favor of whoever was in the lead of this war.
vi.
it backfired. it backfired so badly. The Stevens’ business was as trustworthy as skating on a lake of thin ice. Holden was captured along with her family before she could even realize what was happening, yanked from under the bloody rubble of her luxurious childhood home and strung out along with the rest of them like an offering to their new overlords.
vii.
it took about three hours of torture before holden’s father sold her out and the teen had to roll her eyes because seriously? she was theirs anyway now. and seriously? three hours? it took about two years before holden saw the light of day again, her family gone and she had no idea how she had stayed alive. well, she had some idea.
viii.
turns out, she was pretty good at making people believe she was worth something (whether she was really worth something, well...) with her body, with her words, with her wit, with her smarts. She knew how to quickly adapt herself to survive, to be wanted (even if this new way of being wanted left her sore and scarred and aching) and apparently in this new world ruled by creatures that were both terrifying and mesmerizing, this was how Holden was to make a living.
ix.
And thus she ended as a sexworker in Firebrand City. Dialing her charm to the maximum, trying to enchant, to delight, to present herself as a vision straight from the patrons’ wildest fantasies so that nobody will resist her, so that nobody will deny her. Because at this point, whether it’s pleasure or intense pain, being wanted has become a dangerous addiction for Holden. Solitude, rejection, loneliness, boredom, idleness will let her grief, trauma and other unexplored inner demons come out to play and she has no time or resources for that. And maybe somebody will spare her some warm aftercare and then she can slightly unravel.
