i have never heard of fatmight before and now i need it

Aaaaa I finally have a reason to gush about fatmight again! OK so Fatgum and All Might have had, like, one exchange of words in the entirety of the canon series, and thus is technically a rarepair or a crackship. But just think about it, Fatgum, with his body positivity and love of food, invites skinny All Might to treat him to lunch when he finds him waiting to catch the next bus at a bus stop, but is initially turned down over All Might's dietary restrictions and "not wanting to be too much trouble", so Fatgum proceeds to take him to a restaurant that he knows has a more flexible menu and offers to treat him, and All Might being himself insists he pay instead, but when Fatgum won't budge he then insists that he treat him some other time. He'd be so good for him in terms of making sure he's eating well and making him feel good about how he looks regardless of appearances. And has anyone ever thought about the spooning?

my new favorite rare pairs:

tensei and natsuo. i think it would be cute and also tenya/shoto bonding time thru being brother in laws. womderful, womderful.

I imagine they meet in a hospital, the one Tensei recovers from Stain in. I assume Japanese medical schools require internships/experience?? so by coincidence, Natsou is assigned to this retired pro hero who just won't stop flirting with him while on intense pain relivers. also off pain meds. Tensei is a bit of a flirt.

i'd like to imagine endeavor comes home one day, sees tensei, and recognizes him as from a fellow (although ~inferior~) legacy family. he assumes this is fuyumi's boyfriend when tensei tries to act polite (but can't help to make faces and goof off once enji's back is turned). he assumes wrong.

Natsou genuinely enjoys the Iida family and gets along surprisingly well with tenya! tenya admires his dedication to healing and feels a deep debt is owed to natsou for seemingly bringing tensei back from the brink.

i dub this ship, Running Cold

rei and rumi. this is just endhawks but wlw (and does not include a malevolent child abuser) so is therefore valid. also rei divorcing endeavor only to end up dating one of his coworkers (ranked lower than him) is fucking amazing. could you imagine his reaction?

"you... you are dating my ex-wife." "you bet your ass i am!"

i imagine they'd meet like, right after rei exited the courthouse with legal divorce papers and she's just trying to get used to living on her own again (with occassional visits from her kids). Rumi's having a slow patrol so offers to help the frail woman home, she flirts a bit (i can guarentee you she called rei a milf to her face, and rei asked dabi/natsou later what it meant) and they just. keep meeting each other. turns out rei's new apartment is right at the tail end of rumi's patrol route! things evolve from like, getting coffee, to more casual dates, until rei's asking rumi to move in (rumi makes a sugar mommy joke. rei once again asks dabi/natsou what it means).

so then they're all moved in right?? so rei is invited to a todoroki family dinner, she asks if she can bring her new partner, her kids are SO HAPPY for her so of course they say yes! enji leaves his patrol early to surprise his kids only to find his ex wife and his co woker in his house, and rumi is just so fucking smug about it.

midnight, ms joke and inko. imagine izuku is told he has 3 moms now and instead of being like "what abt allmight/dad" hes just crying going,,, "m,, momjoke,,, momnight,,,"

midnight and joke get him a shirt that says "who needs a dad when you got 3 moms (and 1 funky uncle)" and he wears it immediately

mother's day is a chaotic mess but izuku and inko wouldn't have it any other way

inko is much closer to the action now, with 2 pro spouses AND a son in hero training, but she gets more comfortable with her gfs to talk her through 'regular' pro hero matters and ultimately she gets more comfortable with izuku's career choice

fatgum and allmight. i think it would be wholesome and funney! poor toshi needs help with self esteem and body image issues, who better to help than fatgum?

imagine: fat's at a garage sale. he finds stuff for people his size (he's EIGHT FEET TALL, YALL) and it turns out this stuff is allmights old stuff!! yknow, from when he was a massive guy?

so they chat it up, fat asks if toshi would like to go to dinner after he packages his newly aquired Big Person Things, and all might.

does not realize this is fat asking him on a date.

he proceeds not to know for many months, until young kirishima asks if he can be the flower boy at their wedding.

all might coughes up a bit of blood and fat takes him on a date he knows is a date this time <3

i call this ship, AllGum/FatMight!

mitsuki and fuyumi. this is more of a crack ship and less of a rare pair but not only do I think it would be funney, i want to see bakugos face when shoto todoroki realizes that, were those two women to get married, he would become bakugos uncle. mitsuki goes along with this. the bakusquad only calls him uncle roki now. chaos. absolute chaos

still, i do have some wholesome thoughts about it. mitsuki helping fuyumi prep for a family meal (where she is introduced as fuyumi's partner). fuyumi shyly admitting to making quite a few of her clothes and mitsuki complimenting her on it.

them being frightened for shoto and katsuki's safety, and showing their care in little ways; fuyumi will always send shoto back to the dorms with extra food and snacks, just for bakugou. they have little notes in them, wishing him luck, to have a good day, reminders to lean on his friends, sometimes even recipes! mitsuki will be a little more blunt, being physically affectionate with shoto, complimenting him and encouraging his interests (without putting down her own son).

hitoshi, denki, sero and iida. i call this my good boy polycule. they're all dating and love each other and have cuddle piles. that's it.

all i really want out of this is them understanding and helping each other with their insecurities. iida encouraging denki and applauding him when he gets better grades, sero helping to defeat shinsou's negative mindset about his quirk, all three helping iida unpact the trauma of the stain incident and kamino ward incident, etc.

         it’s late at night, midnight air heavy around the comfortable seated          pair, as the tv drones in the background with a low hum. neither of the         two REALLY seem to be paying attention to it, enjoying each other’s         presence as the night goes on. it’s... nice. it’s domestic-- and more         importantly, toshinori never feels as safe as he does when he’s with         daisuke. it’s not a matter of being with someone who’s STRONG--         honestly, toshinori could care less about strength at this point-- and more          about just... being around someone who genuinely just exuded a          feeling of warmth. with daisuke it was physically and emotionally          (seriously, the bmi hero was like a space heater) the aura he gives          off immediately making the former pro relax. an aura that gets even          stronger as daisuke links their fingers together, lightly holding his          hand in his-- lighting toshinori’s face up with a smile.

Hoje um ano mais velho olho para traz ainda, com 22 anos, com minha vida encaminhada, com minha faculdade com 70% concluida, eu ainda quero voltar atras, quero voltar aonde tudo começou e reparar tudo de mal que te fiz, quero ser oq você mais quer nesse mundo, quero ser o cara perfeito para você, quero ser o que há de mais maravilhoso do mundo para você, eu sei que seu amor eu vou sempre ser assim como sempre sera o meu amor, pois o que temos, o que vivemos e ainda sentimos um pelo outro, não nos deixa nos afastarmos por completo por mais que tentamos, por mais que queremos sempre damos um jeitinho de nos falarmos, de mandar um “oi, tudo bem?”. Fatmight / Allgum

Gotta start with the crackship cuz it makes sense in my mind and therefore i wish it wasnt a "crack" ship. I specifically love the idea of Fatgum interacting with skinny All Might for that sweet sweet body positivity. I'd even settle for a platonic bromance just plz make Fatgum friends with All Might. 😭

Davemight / Mightyshield / Toshidave

Can this image alone please be enough to explain why I love this ship? Nah nah it's so much more that that. This ship makes me think of Sufjan Stevens' "Viseons of Gideon" if only for the secret pining between them from youth all the way into modern day, where they both have so much going on in their lives, and the possibility of lingering feelings they have for one another is an understandable tragedy, and the fact that they still care about each other and want to see each other succeed in whatever they do and be happy even if they cant be together just jist sjturjdjrjrj. 😭😭😭

Erasermight

I like this one for the development they went through together as not just coworkers but eventually as friends that All Might can confide in. It ain't perfect, with both mentors pushing for their preferred students over all else, as well as both of them being so goddamn self destructive. That's also why I like the ship, though, both of them becoming more and more willing to be a little bit vulnerable around each other and helping one another through their trauma.

Naomight

This is the kind of ship that i could like as either a bromance or a romance. How he found out about Toshinori's true identity was an adorable accident, but it's good that Toshinori could finally have someone to be honest about himself with and not get lectured like with Principal Nezu and Recovery Girl.

Nightmight / Sirmight

Another tragedy. I can barely bring myself to talk about this one due to how tragic it is. Sir Nighteye cared so much about All Might, and All Might was so self sabotaging that, by ignoring the severity of his injuries and putting the public before himself, he inadvertently put the public before the concern of Sir Nighteye. He was so afraid to face him again after years pass by, and frankly I can relate to that and that's partly why this ship breaks my fucking heart.

Inkomight

If I'm being honest, I prefer a platonic relationship between these two. All Might sees some of his master in Inko Midoriya, a strong hearted woman, and I cant help but feel like there would be some weirdness if they pursued one another romantically. She is still married, although her husband may as well not be in the picture at all with how neglectful he is about being abroad and not there with his wife and son. The reason I consider this ship at all is because the fan art is so so sweet and loving and it makes me happy. Even if I have different thoughts about this ship, the art people draw for them is still very wholesome.

And that's why i like all these ships and not limited to just one, because they're all so lovingly supportive of Toshinori, not just All Might.
