No Greater Sorrow

She collapsed to her knees, clutching at her chest and doubling over to cough up the burning liquid in her throat -- not bile or phlegm but a milky white liquid that held a strange glow. The light was consuming her from the inside. It burns... Tears streamed down her face: were they the same white liquid? It hurts… The coughing grew relentlessly, the milky white liquid spilling from her mouth like a waterfall. Cracks appeared silently across her body, the light pouring out from within her. 

Hero no more, but a warden of light, a being of monstrous power and void of any remembrance of who they once were. 

“Mizuki! No!” Alisaie cried in a mix of anger and panic. “We have to save her!” 

“By the Twelve -- what do we do?” Alphinaud gasped,

“The only thing we can.” Thancred tightened his grip on the hilt of his gunblade. To lose another friend...

“For the sake of this star and ours, we must vanquish her,” Urianger finished, moving to stand shoulder to shoulder with Thancred. 

The being that was once Mizuki let out a bellowing screech, shocking the Scions to their core as they readied for the battle of their lives. 

Finally got some pictures of the 'What if Mizuki was consumed by light' thing I wrote. Still not 100% happy with them but as close as I can get. I got more to share at a later date.

heres my advice to any followers i have who are young. Don't delete things when you think you've outgrown them or they're cringy. If you make youtube videos just private them don't delete them. Save your files, you can bury them in multiple sub-folders if you think they're cringe now but DON'T DELETE THEM! It doesn't feel like it now but years in the future you will look back fondly at who you were and wish you still had those things.

im not particularly religious but i think it’s very cute that Trans Day of Visibility and Easter are on the same day this year :)

its no question that something like this could be triggering or upsetting to a number of queer ppl given the current sociopolitical climate, so i want everyone to remember that u are loved! Regardless of what u or others believe, there are ppl who will love and support you always. Give yourself patience and treat yourself with care!!!

I kept debating how to end this short little mini comic. In the original script, they were gonna hold hands (scandalous, I know lmfao), but I didn't think it hit quite right in comic format when I tried to make it longer. Hence why it ends... like that.

Anyways I wrote like a ton of comic scripts for COTL comics that just didn't hit right / I couldn't commit to making and then when driving home from work last week in the pitch darkness I thought about how nice it is to see like actual stars. And I feel like with the cult grounds being kind of among a lot of trees and all that it might take a short hike to get a really, really, really good view of the night sky and stuff. Thus. This.
