Optimus carries a wallet full pictures of his Sparklings. He drops it and it’s mostly full of Sari pictures.

Optimus: I don’t have favorites.
The rest of his Sparklings: Bullscrap.
Bumblebee: Hey! Where all of my pictures???
Optimus: Uh…. *finds one where his face is smudged and he is in the background of another Sari picture* You’re right here!
Bumblebee turns to Soundwave but he’s holding up two pictures of himself with one having Sari in it.

I got the image of the Jack, Miko and Rafael learning to imitate Distressed/terrified Sparkling cries and using them against the decepticons. It’s a very efficient defense mechanism. Every cybertronian who heard them is freaking out because oh primus how is the squishy thing making that noise and I gotta protect it at all costs. The sheer chaos that would ensue as the ‘protect/rescue the sparkling’ programming kicks in full force.
——
The vehicons are clustered at the other end of the room panicking. They don’t know what to do. The human sparklings are looking right at them and making distress noises. The guilt is killing them.
Knockout going “is the car form less alarming?! If I turn into a car will you stop seeing me as the threat?!”
Breakdown is having a breakdown.
Starscream pinned to the wall on the other side of the room having an internal crisis. He doesn’t like this. Make it stop.
Soundwave makes no noise but you can FEEL the sheer distress radiating off of him.
Megatron is frozen. No thoughts, head empty. He’s not moving at all. He doesn’t know how to handle this.
——
The autobots have mixed feelings about this. They’re glad the kids have a way of defending themselves but please don’t do it near them. They’re stressed out enough as it is.
(This might sound kinda dumb but I thought it was kinda funny. Very tired while writing this)
Wait no this is actually brilliant.
The Decepticons never anticipated their long buried parental nature to be used against them. No one did. But they day the human children turned up on the battlefield looking far too confident, every Bot and Con present had the all encompassing feeling that something was terribly wrong. Their suspicions were quickly confirmed when, before the Decepticons could do much of anything to get the relics they were after, Rafael began to wail.
Normally, human screams meant nothing. But there was a certain pitch that sounded so close to a cry of distress from a sparkling that, to warriors who had not heard a sparkling in millennia, it was enough to send them running to help. In this case, the issue was only compounded as the children scattered like mice and started making the same noises. The Decepticons could hardly focus on the Autobots booking it to the relics as they frantically tried to locate the fictitious sparklings calling for aid.
The Vehicons managed to get to Jack, but he just kept looking up at them defiantly. Every time one of the dozen or so Vehicons on the field tried to grab him, blast him, or otherwise hurt him, Jack would chirp like a sparkling and send all of them scurrying back. It wasn't cute to the Vehicons. Having never seen actual sparklings but still having the coding needed to adore them, they looked at Jack and saw a weird frame-walker. They weren't sure what to do about it except try to haul themselves away while also keeping a vague circle around the human male.
Miko on the other hand made it a point to chase after Megatron and Soundwave, screeching like a sparkling about to be shredded. Neither stopped for her, but Megatron completely lost his train of thought every time that screech rang out. He could have been aiming at Optimus with a perfect head shot and he would be unable to fire as Miko's distressed sounds rang out in his audials. He KNEW she wasn't a sparking. His coding wasn't even that strong. But by Primus, hearing her screech was the same as watching a civilian get run over by a bus, repeatedly. Focus was impossible.
Soundwave wasn't much better. He didn't react outwardly, but the slowing of his steps and the way he tried to sidestep Miko gave away his distress. He avoided her like the plague, trying to refocus but being unable to really get far as Miko screamed like a demon. It was a fight against the Unmaker himself to keep Soundwave from bolting over to collect the sparkling who sounded so very upset.
Rafael, for his part, followed Miko's lead and harassed the other three members of High Command most often found out on the field. Breakdown ran screaming the moment Rafael started chirping at him. This was both out of fear of the frame-walker and to escape the inevitable overreaction of his coding. He may or may not have attempted parkour once or twice to get as far away from the smallest of the humans as possible.
Knockout tried to ignore Rafael when the kid chirped up at him, he really really did. But how does one ignore the Cybertronian equivalent of a soaking wet kitten meowing up at you? Simply put: you don't. Knockout gave in and quickly dropped down to try and soothe the non-existent sparkling every. single. time. Rafael pulled his noise trickery. He never fails to panic and attempt to flash colorful things at Rafael to get him to stop. Every Decepticon has since been endlessly disappointed in him.
Starscream, being terrified of things that really shouldn't be there, took the skies the instant the trio began screeching. Nope. Not today Unicron. He'll get the mission done or get the heck out of dodge to avoid coding coming online. He doesn't need empty nest syndrome on top of a crippling case of "I Love Power." He also doesn't need to deal with the horrific mental image of a squishy somehow managing to sound like a sparkling. Nope. Nope. NOPE.
The Autobots are grateful the kids can protect themselves a bit now. But by Primus, they have known NO peace since the kids figured it all out.

You know, I will say, something about Earthspark Season 2, at least these first 9 episodes, feels off compared to the first season
Maybe it is partially the fact that the Decepticons are plain evil, despite it being more nuanced originally. Like Starscream’s just completely evil now, for no explained reason. I know he ain’t the most morally good person, but he wasn’t like this before. And being a Decepticon just automatically makes you evil and mean and stuff, so like the conflict is far simpler
But no, I feel like it’s more than just that. Something about the episode plots are also different? But I can’t put my finger on what
Maybe it’s because now there’s a plot of “collect the Emberstone shards before the Decepticons”, when in the first season, at least not until the end or so, there wasn’t really that ever present conflict. The plot was the Autobots rounding up the last of the rogue Decepticons, which wasn’t every episode mind you and the Terrans were only somewhat involved, while the Terrans do stuff and learn to be Transformers and keep hidden from GHOST, while also dealing with Mandroid whenever he showed up to cause problems. Like the overall plot structure is different, but I can’t explain specifically how outside of listing the general plot of the season
But also I think it’s the writing of the characters? Something feels off about them, I don’t know what. It may also be a problem of lack of screen time, since we have a very large cast. But like, Robbie feels different somehow, always thinking about the mission and rarely like a kid, and I feel like the parents, especially Dot, feel lesser, like they’re just parents supporting their children saving the world and never have much outside of that. And I want to say there’s a general lack of Mo comparatively, but she also then shows up just enough for me to not say that definitively. But she feels lesser than Robbie in terms of her usage, at least to me
I mean it’s not like Season 1 had every character get all the screen time all equally every episode, we had like 10 main characters by Episode 10, and that’s not counting Optimus or Megatron. Someone’s not going to show up every now and again. And maybe part of the issue is that Season 1 had 26 episodes while Season 2 only has 9 so far, so it isn’t right to compare. But something still feels off to me about the usage of screen time and the writing of the characters
Again, maybe this is just an issue of there only being 9 episodes so far. By that point in the original season, we still only had 2 Terrans, and the cast was much smaller as a result with a lot more time to focus on them, especially with no big conflict at the time
Hmm, I don’t know. But something about Season 2 writing feels off, and it isn’t just the Decepticons. I just don’t know what specifically or how to word it, or if I’m judging too quickly with only a few episodes. But I still feel it regardless
#I don’t know#there’s probably a review out there that can word my feelings better#but do you get what I mean?#ah well I guess we’ll see what this next batch has in store#anyone know when today it’ll drop?#transformers#transformers earthspark#earthspark season 2

Got inspired by the last anon:
Airachnid, but instead of taking creatures for her "collection," she collects and brainwashes other Cybertronians to join her "hive," as part of her little Insecticon army.
GOD DAMN, why all of you are such a geniuses???
That would be like coolest shit ever, because imagine, with those aliens from other planets + everyone she killed on earth, she would have giant army!!!
She might come on earth in such a big ass ship as Megatron!
And at the being she would be loyal servant of his, but later she would try to get rid of this old scrap. And she manage to do it! She literally kicked Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave out of the ship! Let only KO stay, because he is a medbot.
She took control over Nemesis and instead of taking control over the world and create new Cybertron, she want to draining dark energron from earth and by this killing and destroying earth to the point it'll in some way "explode" and kill every on this planet including team prime, and those 3 decepticon cunts.
And to stop her Megatron and Optimus needed to fight arm in arm again, to stop destruction of their battlefield.
ANDDD because you are referencing this ask with Arcee being servant of Arachnid I will also include it here! She would like be her second in command on the ship, and after Optimus and Megatron kills Arachnid together, Optimus rescued Arcee (I headcanon her and Bee, as Ratchet and OP's 'children'), and Megan betrayed OP once again and took the ship XDD
Ah and Arcee is still killing Cliff here :)

Tron: The Animated Series (1986-1989)
What do you mean you haven't seen Tron: The Animated Series? It was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid!
So this all started as an exercise in how to explain why Sam inexplicably had merch for a 2010 movie in his 1989 house. In-universe there would have probably been toys using the 1982 aesthetic since that was what the video game used (and Sam DOES have an 82 Tron figure in his house!) but why the Grid stuff?
Enter THE CARTOON.
It was the 1980s everybody who was everybody made cartoons to sell toys. Encom made home gaming consoles by this point, and they would have had peripherals like Nintendo did. They had licensed characters like Nintendo did. You see where I am going.
Encom wants to sell Encom Gaming Power Gauntlets. Kevin wants to introduce kids to the ideas about the Digital Frontier since he's a futurist and knows kids will be mentally flexible enough to digest the new zeitgeist if it's fun and animated!
Production of the cartoon ran from Kevin's official retirement as CEO until his disappearance. Three official seasons with a fourth in production. Season three's airing was cut short due to the furor surrounding Kevin's going missing, but the "lost" final episodes of S3 were restored when the DVDs were eventually released for an anniversary collection.
The cartoon was also successful in syndication through the 1990s and early 2000s since it successfully anticipated the Educational/Informative movement-- Tron: The Animated Series actually does teach kids some of the basics of computer science around the silly adventure stuff. Think Captain Planet meets Captain N the Game Master for the overall tone of the series. It's not realistic, but you get the general concepts and issues.
The cartoon's popularity among millennials keeps Tron alive in pop culture to the present day. The IP remains a perennial revenue stream for Encom, and every so often they'll throw the fanbase something to keep the money going. (This is an ordeal to the program himself, since he has to deal with hackers sent by groups named after him on the reg.)
What's it about?
Young video game enthusiast Jethro "Jet" Keene lands himself the after school internship of a lifetime getting to work at Encom in a special new program for teenagers with attitude run by Kevin Flynn (voiced by himself).
However, it's not all fun and video game testing with the sweet new Encom Power Gauntlet. Thanks to some cartoon physics hijinks, Jet finds himself transported into the Grid, the Boss's new experimental computer system!
Jet gets to work with Clu (they hired a voice-alike for him) and Tron (ditto) to find a way back home to the real world, solving problems and learning how to code along the way... and that was the pilot episode.
Because this is a cartoon for children, Jet is naturally the regular User of the Grid instead of Flynn, though Flynn makes occasional appearances to dispense Yoda-like wisdom and is revered by all the programs inside the system as the Creator.
There are also no lasers or anything like that-- Jet does a silly toku-like thing with the power gauntlet to commute into the system.
Clu is more likable than in real life. He's mostly benevolent, trying to make a more perfect system but the show's writers actually picked up on the idea that making a perfect system is kind of an impossible lift and made it central to his character development. He's a little obsessed with copying the User world, and there's an arc in S3 where a lot of the conflict revolves around why can't programs be programs about it.
Tron's not a mayhem goblin, which is a crime. He's portrayed as a little bit Optimus Prime, since Jet's the primary mayhem source, and Fighting for the Users is otherwise his defining personality trait. He gets a surprisingly deep fate/free will arc in S2, since naturally several episodes revolve around attempts to reprogram him since he's the Champion and all. Afterward, he's a bit more chill.
Jet's storyline parallel's Kevin's real-life one a little bit-- a lot of the episodes focused on him as a character revolve around him trying to balance his double life. The cartoon also does not mention the time dilation jetlag. Jet, unlike Kevin, does learn how to ask for help, especially as S3 decides to diversify a little more and adds a girl intern, Paige.
S3 in general has a lot of emphasis on diversity and tolerance of others and their differences. The ISO-Basic tensions were running high in the real Grid. It was on Kevin's mind a lot. He was also starting to make thinks on introducing the ISOs to the rest of the world at the time.
Like Reboot in the 1990s, Tron has a lot of episodes devoted to video games and playing games on the Game Grid is a frequent trope. (Hardcore Tron partisans accuse Reboot of stealing this.) Unlike in Reboot, there's no derezzing the losers if the User wins. Games are sometimes the entire plot and sometimes an obstacle or diversion from solving an episode's actual problem.
Since the Grid is open in Tron, there is a recurring cast of villains in the form of viruses and hackers from other systems in addition to technical problems that have to be solved through coding and computer science know-how.
The fourth season didn't get much past a few animatics for the S4 pilot, but what was there got a release for the fancy anniversary collections as special features. Design docs indicate that some new characters were about to be introduced-- Jalen and Radia. Kevin Flynn disappeared while voice actors were being cast for these roles.
NGL I am extremely mad this wasn't a real cartoon.

OverpanKid!OP anon
Let's try this again. Sorry. I realize that was a "complete" ask, but I wasn't finished.
After their little Bonnie and Clyde stint, they settle down and mellow out. They still have their more... murdery tendencies and they can live up to their reputation if necessary, but they basically just want to live a simple domestic life with some children to raise.
Of course that plan goes sideways when they lose nearly their entire clutch except for one determined little bean.
Speaking of, I like to think Optimus has some interesting traits from his creators.
He has a set of retractable "claws'' that actually double as mnemosurgery tools (courtesy of Trepan, though he doesn't use them for that purpose, just normal claws), and he didn't just get those beautiful full lips from Overlord, he also got his fangs too (also retractable, he can rearrange his teeth to hide them). He has more of Trepan's helm shape (with his audials and finials, though Optimus's are more broad than needle like) and more of Overlord's body shape and face.
He learned medical sciences from Trepan (though he's not a fan of mnemosurgery) and learned how to fight from Overlord (he refuses to kill someone unless he has to). Unlike how other old acquaintances of his parents who believe their son is soft for "being a runt", or "not utilizing his built-in tools", or "not wanting to kill", they recognize his strengths and support him in whatever ways they can (and they do not tolerate slander of their child, how DARE anyone insult their precious baby!!) For a couple of war criminals with horrendous reputations they make for amazing and supportive parents.
When Orion eventually comes to them saying he wants to join the Autobots, they are understandably concerned and worried - the Autobots may be the lesser of two evils, but even they have committed their fair share of atrocities, some arguably worse than the Decepticons (Trepan would know) - but support his decision all the same. They help him reformat himself so his more outwardly warframe traits are hidden and ship him on his way with promises to keep in touch.
Of course we know how that ends, Orion - renamed to Optimus - is expelled and out of shame he only keeps in sparse contact with his parents until he just suddenly drops off the face of the universe for 50 years and Cybertron believes him to be dead. Overlord and Trepan get word of his whereabouts and decide to drop by for a visit.
Now if dealing with collecting the pieces of Allspark, the hounding of the Autobot Elite Guard, and fighting the Decepticon High Command wasn't enough stress on his shoulders, the secret he's kept so close to his spark is going to be busted wide open for the universe to see.
I can totally see that, given these two, but sweet that they're willing to settle down. Kinda.
OOOO OPTIMUS WITH RETRACTABLE CLAWS YES
Yeah he'd never do mnemosurgery he's too much of a painfully good guy
Interesting that Optimus has some medical knowledge, that's gotta cause some fun moments where he surprises Ratchet or when a first aid needing moment happens
They are evil evil amazing husbands who love their son dearly
Considering the tfa autobots... yeah that tracks
Oh optimus, shit is gonna be wild but you'll come out of it well, i promise. Especially with fucking Overlord and Trepan thoroughly on his side

"Transformers: One" Review: A Great Setting and Four Lunatics
⚠️spoiler alert below⚠️
Firstly, the artwork, scene rendering, and even the governance tactics depicted in "One" (using benefits to buy loyalty, deceiving the masses, artificially creating poverty as if it's an inherent flaw) are excellent. The plot of teenagers leaving a closed environment to explore the vast world and uncover the truth also aligns well with popular tastes. However, I found the personalities of all the main characters utterly unbearable. If this were real life, I wouldn't become friends with any of them. In summary, after watching this film, I feel that the lives of the Cybertronians in this universe are such failures, stuck with this group of leaders. Whatever you do in the future, you're bound to fail.
The concept of the transformation gears seems like a metaphor for the transition between early adolescence and adulthood. Before obtaining the gear, it's like children living collectively in a strict school, forced to cut off a part of themselves to ensure the smooth operation of order.
Actually, we all felt the ending was rushed. Whether from a revolutionary or a cold, purely utilitarian perspective, they should have publicly executed Sentinel Prime. Instead, Optimus went to shield Sentinel Prime from Megatron's blast and fell. Megatron said, "I don't want to save you anymore," and let go, causing Optimus to fall into the planet's core, where Primus gave him the Matrix of Leadership.
Shielding Sentinel Prime, the enemy of the Primes, from a blast earns you the Matrix of Leadership as a reward? I know this is a metaphor for the value of loving peace, but from a superficial logical standpoint, don't you think this logic is like 💩, screenwriters? I want to punish all the production staff by making them watch "Let the Bullets Fly" ten times—especially the part of "with a gun in hand, follow me to kill the governor"—and learn how to deal with counter-revolutionaries.
I want to bestow an honorific title upon Michael Bay:the biggest fool and shit plot producer
Meanwhile, my friend also nicknamed Sentinel Prime as "Kneel-tinel Prime."
The following is the character section, let's go!

One of my favourite Transformers-related videos on the Internet is Empire Wreckers' 40 minute-long Bayverse analysis where they ultimately conclude that the Bayverse is a version of the setting where the Autobots are evil, the Decepticons are, if not good, then at least better, Megatron, Sentinel, and the Fallen were collaborating on a plan to kill Unicron, and the Decepticons' disdain for humanity is ultimately justified as we're literally the flies on giant robot space Satan's mechanical asshole.
The movies are full of plotholes. The Autobots first arrived in 2007, except no they didn't, they were here before, and also they were involved with multiple human wars, and actually they seem to have been fighting on opposite sides (Optimus is depicted with the British Empire, while Ironhide and Hound are shown fighting with their American and French enemies), that's fucking weird... except pretty much everything we're told about the Cybertronians' history with Earth is told to us by Optimus... who could easily be lying.
Optimus tells us something, and then another movie comes along and reveals that what he told us wasn't true.
The Autobots and Decepticons arrive here, and while the Decepticons retain their freakish, monstrous appearances, the Autobots style themselves as hideous metal caricatures of us. We see the Autobots in protoform in the first movie, they don't start looking like us.
And then there are the alternate modes. The Autobots turn themselves into gleaming, flashy, status symbol cars. Optimus makes himself into a big truck but he only ever pulls a trailer two or three times in the entire saga, and his trailer is mostly just a storage rack for all his extra guns and other various weapons.
Meanwhile, the Decepticons choose modes that are fit for the task. They need to excavate or salvage something? Construction vehicles. Military strike? Military vehicles. Detective work? Cop car. When Megatron finally takes an Earth mode in the third movie, he turns into a tanker truck, and what's he actually doing in that movie? Feeding Decepticon children. He's literally bringing food to his kids. The only time we see a Decepticon turn into a douchey sports car, it's because Soundwave is working alongside a douchey rich guy with a collection of douchey sports cars.
The Autobots are also hyper-violent assholes. Skids and Mudflap are constantly starting fights with each other. When Optimus isn't around, Bumblebee, Crosshairs, and Drift are at each other's throats immediately. And when they actually fight their enemies, they dispatch them in the most horrifically brutal ways possible. Optimus' penchant for mutilating faces is a meme, but he's not the only one performing Mortal Kombat fatalities on everyone he fights. Bumblebee gets in on the action too, ripping Rampage's arms off, tearing Ravage's spine out, and punching his arm cannon through Soundwave's torso before blowing his head off.
By contrast, when the Decepticons go for killshots, they prefer to simply shoot their targets in the spark. They also take prisoners, which the Autobots don't, and pretty much all of them are loyal to Megatron. Even frequent backstabbers like Starscream and Shockwave are pretty much entirely loyal- Starscream's biggest act of treachery is to... retreat when the battle is lost in the first movie. That's it.
There's a lot more to this video than just this, I highly recommend watching it.

Number 43?
This ask game
Minds think alike I guess. Let’s do the TFP Optimus in episode 1 timeline where Eren and Mikasa encounter Optimus and Levi.
Mikasa noticed how much more attentive and caring Eren was since everything happened. Ever since Wall Maria almost fell, ever since Carla nearly died and that Titan saved their mother’s life. But the mindless Titan left Carla paralyzed, and Hannes could only do so much when it came to supporting the woman and the two children. They would ask Grisha for help, but he hasn’t been seen since the attack on Shinganshina. Eren had his key to the basement, but he didn’t know where he got it from.
And the basement. The truth about the Walls and the outside world, the Jaeger family and Hannes were the only ones who knew that truth. But what could they do with that information? Who could they tell? Especially without proper proof. The only thing they could do was keep their mouths shut until a miracle showed up.
They continued shopping for food in Trost. Hannes was kind enough to use his connections to get them a home in Wall Rose. Carla feared another attack would happen again and would rather be deeper into the Walls to survive. Eren didn’t make a fuss about it. All he did was obey. He helped out with getting food, helped out with cooking. He was trying to follow his mother’s advice and be the man of the house. Now that Grisha was gone…
Mikasa hated how sad Eren looked when he collected the bread from the vendor. She hated this. She was so close to losing her family again. She hated it so much.
“Let’s go,” Eren told Mikasa and he tied the bag holding their food. Mikasa followed Eren as they made their way out of the market, but stopped when they suddenly heard chatter. Well, louder than usual chatter. Eren turned his attention over to the source, and gasped at the sight of a Survey Corp member walking past with someone significantly taller than him. The taller man didn’t wear the Survey Corps uniform. He wore a really fancy red jacket with blue pants and dark boots. His hair and beard were black, his skin was fair, and his eyes were so blue. Eren’s gaze fell to the sleeve of the jacket and felt a swell of hope in his chest when he saw that symbol. That same symbol from the Titan that saved his mother back in Shinganshina. It was him! It was Optimus Prime! Like the paper said! It had to be!
"Eren!" Mikasa cried out as Eren bolted towards the two. Mikasa quickly rushed him and grabbed him by the waist, manhandling him across the market to drag him away and not risk them getting into trouble.
"Let go!" Eren cried out to her, "We have to get help!"
"Eren, we can't!" Mikasa pleaded. Why now? Why was the Eren before the fall coming out now?
"We have to be safe!" Eren retorted, "I have to! I have to protect you and mom!"
Mikasa was stunned at Eren's proclamation. Eren took notice at how distracted Mikasa was and quickly threw the grocery bag to the side.
"Eren!" Mikasa cried as she was forced to let him go and grab the food before someone else stole it. This allowed Eren to worm through the crowd to the Survey Corps members. He had helped them before. Maybe they could help them again!
"You don't have to greet everyone that says hi," Levi remarked at the titan's holoform, "Or stop to help everyone. We have errands to run."
"I do not see why not," Optimus retorted as he saw the family waving goodbye, "It has been a long time since I have been in an environment full of life where I did not have to hide."
Levi didn't reply to that. This had to be an act. He had no reason to be nice and kind to any of the humans. There had to be some ulterior motive to his actions. Damn it, Erwin, this was a stupid plan. "Let's just get what we need."
As they approached one of the stalls, Optimus suddenly felt a tug on the holoform pant leg. He looked around to see who it was, but his gaze fell down to the sight of a frightened young boy.
"Hello," Optimus greeted in confusion.
"C-!" the child's words seemed to die in his throat when he realized what he was talking to, "I...-!"
"Eren!" a girl called out to him with a bag of groceries in her hand. They were practically children, but Optimus could tell they looked so terrified. The girl had grabbed the boy, Eren's hand, and tried to pull him away. But the boy remained so strong and steadfast in his decision to stay put as much as he could. The girl was clearly stronger than him, and there was visible strain on his face when she tried to pull him away.
But Optimus could tell that the boy looked desperate.
"We don't have time for autographs. We're running errands," Levi stated.
"W-we need help," Eren begs, "Please."
"Eren!" Mikasa warned.
"Please!" Optimus saw tears beginning to form in Eren's eyes. The boy was really desperate and the girl looked terrified. What was going on? Why were they so afraid? He had to know.
"Captain, we must help them," Optimus informed Levi.
"Excuse you?" Levi demanded in annoyance, "What about our shit? And these kids could-!" Levi stopped himself when he recognized how terrified they actually looked.
"If the children are not in serious danger, then we can contact the Military Police," Optimus proposed before kneeling down in front of the children, "What are your names?"
"E-eren," the boy stumbled with his name, "This is my sister, Mi-! Hmph!" The girl had covered Eren's mouth in response.
"You do not have to tell me your name," Optimus reassured her. Mikasa eyed Eren and Optimus with suspicion before slowly letting go of Eren's mouth.
"Eren, can you safely tell me what you are so frightened of?" Optimus asked him.
Eren shook his head. "Not here."
"Then where would you feel safe?" Optimus asked him.
"Home," Eren replied.
Optimus extended his hand to the boy. "Do you feel comfortable to take us to your home?"
Eren stared at the hand in front of him before slowly extending his hand and placing it in the holoform's own. Optimus gently tightened his grip before standing up. Optimus felt the boy pull and Optimus followed him out of the marketplace. Mikasa looked afraid as Eren took the holoform, but Levi walked up to Mikasa and extended a hand to the girl. She wordlessly took it, and the two ended up following Optimus close behind.
(This was a fun one. I like showing Optimus' kindness to children. Again. You are more than welcome to ask from the list. It's fun.)

well here we go folks

Skywarp's up for raiding sir. And my teleportational power'll pop me right into their midst to make mischief. As ever, your cause is Thundercracker's great Megatron. Our land-bound enemy will be picked off at will as I soar over them, striking with rockets and sonic booms. As the fastest most maneuverable of Decepticon jet flyers, I, Starscream, shall continue to accumulate Autobot body-counts that enhance the reputation of our leader. Can the speeches, huh, Star? Rumble's back in town and I'm gonna shake the place up with some low frequency ground-waves. You hit em from up top and I'll do the job down here. And I, Frenzy, will shatter our opponents' equilibrium, using high- pitched soundwaves. I will not cease until every Autobot is slain, and you, Soundwave? I will monitor transmissions and read Autobot electrical impulses to learn their plans even my photographic memory serves as a defensive weapon. Does even that compare with Ravages power to slip undetected anywhere? And my own monitoring devices in my nose module allow me to smell, hear and detect electromagnetic radiation beyond that of any decepticon It all pales next to the artistry of Buzzsaw. I can pinpoint a hexnut at twenty miles with my optical sensors. And my beak has carved many an Autobot warrior into a masterpiece of scrap metal. Just leave some for Laserbeak, comrades allow me a few struggling survivors of our battle and I'm certain till pry some useful information from them with my optical lasers… Even if they die in the telling. Come. Our time to strike is later. The ship's brain has placed into our circuits the knowledge that this world possesses enormous untapped fuel resources resources we can exploit in our struggle against the Autobots.
Ironhide's ready to roll, Optimus, I may be old and ornery, but my steel-alloy skin hasn't been dented yet in battle. And I've got a bunch of new liquids I want to test out in my water gun, yessiree. Oh, I say we leave right now and forget about traipsing after the stupid decepticons, I'll use my stress testing sensors and mathematical skill to rebuild the ark and get us back to Cybertron where we belong. C'mon, Huffer, get with it! I only require a drop of fuel to run, so I'm going to explore this whole planet- especially since The Ark said so much of it is water, and Bumblebee's little levers love a good swim. Well, Sunstreaker isn't leaving until the rest of this world gets a look at the sleekest Autobot in the bunch. And if any Decepticon dares to mess with the finish-- he'll get two ground-to-air missiles stuffed where he won't want them. If you were as fast as Cliffjumper is, Sunstreaker, you wouldn't worry about your finish, and while I'm dodging fire my "Glass gas" can make any Decepticon brittle as ice. Hun, Brawn don't need any gas to rip things up, nobody's stronger'n me. One punch and yer buildin'-- or decepticon--goes bye bye. Sideswipe's right up there with you, Brawn, because I use my arms as Piledrivers. I admit, it's a little rash to rush headlong at Decepticon fortifications, but not one of them's stopped me yet.
Frankly, I'd rather be elsewhere hunting turbofoxes than with you roughnecks, but, while we're here, my electro-disrupter is charged up. It not only interferes with decepticon circuitry, it also makes me appear to be where I'm not that's why I'm called Mirage. Nice to hear how you got your name, Mirage. Now, I got mine, Bluestreak by being as fast as a blue streak.. Whatever that is. Some wise guys even said I talk a blue streak--whatever that is. Anyway, here I am. Listening to you, Bluestreak, taxes even the endless patience of Prowl. I have little to say, but my logic center dictates the most advantageous course of action in any situation. Well, that is neat-o, Prowl. But me, Jazz, I'd like to just cruise around and take in the sights. And if I've got to fight well my photon rifle and overhead flamethrowers can make things hot for the big nasties. You burn them, Jazz, but let Hound sniff, them out for you. My infra-red radiation collector makes me the best tracker on or off cybertron, and if I ever get lost, my hologram gun projects terrain maps to get me back on track. Just let Windcharger zoom ahead and scrap a Decept between my magnetic arms. I'll take in this planet's scenery later. The only thing Gears wants to learn about this planet is how to get off it. I hate this place already, I just know you're going to use me as a mobile transport unit again once we have to set up. Nuts. Let's go home Well, at least you don't have to patch Autobots up like old Ratchet does, when one of us busts himself up playing hero, but I've got the tools to fix anything-- even though I'd rather be partying than tinkering. And Wheeljack is the guy you've had to patch up most. I can't help it. I love to mess with gadgets -- especially our weaponry, like my shoulder cannons. I try to be careful, but sometimes it doesn't work. Thanks for being around, Ratchet, old buddy. I don't know how many times I, Trailbreaker had to use my force-field projector and hide behind my own barrier when you're experimenting with those shrapnel shells. You're worse than a wild Decepticon, Wheeljack.

I’ve been seeing debates on whether Hasbro should do a remake/continuation of G1’s cartoon. While most have said no for one reason or another, citing the poor reception to MOTU: R and the mixed reception to X-Men in particular, I’m more curious on the matter. While I agree we don’t need it, part of me really wants Hasbro to do it just to see what they’d do with it.
I’ve seen some point out there wouldn’t be toys to sell for it, but my rebuttal is that’s what Legacy/Prime Generations is for. Basically just have this hypothetical show be the WFC/PW equivalent. One MAJOR stipulation: it must be tonally in line with the original cartoon and Transformers Devastation. Make this an all ages, but especially kid friendly show. None of that nonsense PW/WFC did. In fact keep those writers away from it, bring in Simon Furman, Flint Dille & Bob Budiansky to throw in some sexy adjectives and be script supervisors/editors to the new staff.
As for the plot, it depends on what they’d do: full remake-AU or continuation. The later would be simpler I think, just following up on what Galvatron and Zarak have been up to and the Autobots’/humanity’s reaction to it.
No matter what they’d do I feel like Hasbro would insist on lite retcons that include the 13 Primes and their Relics, which in turn fuel Galvatron and Zarak’s ambitions, while Optimus and Hot Rod have shared premonitions about the history of the Prime lineage, revealing in the cartoon universe, the thirteen primes were the prototypes the Quintessons developed after the Trans-Organics, with the Prime relics being Quintesson tools the Primes inherited after the Quints were driven off Cybertron. The Quints aren’t particularly happy their own tools are being uncovered, let alone seeing Galvatron using the Forge to upgrade his troops into Micromasters, Action Masters, & Pretenders. It becomes a race to see who collects the relics, with the Autobots determined to stop the Quintessons and Decepticons from abusing this ancient power. All the while, Solus Prime, Alchemist Prime and Quintus Prime are watching from the sidelines, the last survivors of the ancient Primes. And because Furman, there’d be a bit in here about Grimlock being a vessel for Onyx Prime temporarily, lol.
A clean slate AU could be done any number of ways, though my stipulation would absolutely no Allspark plot, but instead maybe combine elements of Dark of the Moon and Devastation where the factions are looking for the Ferotaxxis, which possess the data necessary to restore Cybertron by producing Synthetic Energon to whoever finds it first. The Ferotaxxis is unearthed by humans meanwhile, who study it and the unearthed Nova Prime, seeing a technological boom as far as the 80’s/90’s are concerned (similar to the Bay films and Sumac Systems in Animated). Nova isn’t particularly pleased at being poked and prodded by what he deems a lazy inferior species, and like Bay Sentinel concocts a scheme to screw over humanity, Optimus’ Autobots and secure the Ferotaxxis to gift Cybertron Earth’s energy. Because Cybertron is all that matters, the devil with anything that gets in the way of it.
The Autobots human friends would be Spike, Carly and Chip, the children of scientists and engineers working on Project O-Part; the O-Part, the Ferotaxxis, reacting to the Autobots and Decepticons presence on Earth.
The plot would then extend to the lineage of the 13 Primes and their relics, as they were things Nova and the Ferotaxxis were privy to, leading to the Autobots and the kids from stopping the Decepticons from getting their hands on the relics, with another wrinkle being added that some countries already found some like Carbomya, and won’t surrender them easily…
Like I said this concept can go any direction, but for a pivoted AU, this is just how I’d do it, going by what I assume Hasbro would still want with the 13 Primes being a component. Elements of Skybound would probably be here too, like Spike and Carly being those designs in particular.
But I think continuing where The Rebirth left off would be the better option, being the easiest to work with and with the already admittedly shoddy continuity of the G1 cartoon, you could pretty effortlessly add aspects of Skybound, IDW (and by that I mean characters like Nova, Rung, Rubble, Termagax, Three Fold Spark, etc) and the modern 13 lore.
Will do they do it? If they’re desperate enough, absolutely, but I don’t know if we’re entirely there yet. It’s getting closer and closer though.

Considering family for Cybertronians is important stuff like child support, daddy/mommy issues and whatnot would be confusing to them
Cons: We have your husband
June: You can keep him.
Bots: June??
June: And if you could would you please scare him into paying child support?
Bots,cons: ???
Oh yeah it would be confusing. Cybertronians have convoluted and complicated relationships, but let it not be said that they fail to be organized. A family on Cybertron can be anything from the Conjunxed couple and their wards to a collection of mecha related purely through paperwork, or perhaps not even through offical means. Whatever the case, Cybertronians make it a point to know their relatives when possible and to support one another if able. Regardless of the situation, if you are family, you are obliged to follow certain standards.
Any Cybertronian involved in the forging, raising, or mentoring of a newspark must be there in some capacity. Unlike humans, simple caste sharing and funding is more than enough in most circumstances. Strictly speaking, a Cybertronian doesn't even need parents, just a familial unit of some sort and a sponsor to ensure that newsparks are taken care of. Family units are loose, but the rules are not. Even Whirl would be morally obliged to at least turn up once and a while with either payment or wisdom to share with any newspark he helped create or got himself involved with as a mentor. It is not even a question on Cybertron. The scummiest mechs still know the rules, and generally speaking, it is in the best interest of all parties to follow the rules of sponsorship.
The larger the family, the more resources one theoretically has to call upon. Hence the interest in taking care of one's line. Humans though? Considering they are not functionally immortal and are not given the great equalizer that is in built weaponry, the rules are all but nonexistent. Children do not always have the power to get back at parents, and parents generally do not have as great an investment in their offspring since any offspring are not likely to bring back investment in a reasonable time frame, at least by Cybertronian standards.
The Cybertronians on Earth simply do not understand the plethora of broken homes amongst humanity. Even Megatron, while largely uncaring of the fleshies, is a tad confused when it comes to the lack of fathers or mothers in homes. Children murdering parents isn't anything new. Cybertron wasn't much better once one got into the higher castes. But parents abandoning their young? That's new. It was a code of honor on Cybertron for a mentor or caretaker to do everything their power to at least make an attempt to provide.
Jack's situation in particular gained the collective confusion of Bots and Cons alike. How could a Sire abandon his creation? Entirely too. It was strange. So strange in fact that Shockwave was momentarily interested in possibly testing the resiliance of the human family structure since, according to his assessment, some family units matched Cybertronian ones in strength where others were all but nonexistent.
It was nigh on culturally impossible to fully comprehend. The Cybertronian family is a messy thing, but even for the functionally immortal, there are rules.
Optimus: Your Sire left you? Without a word?
Jack: Yeah. Dad left when I was young and hasn't come home since.
Arcee: No financial aid? No instructional holovids? Nothing?
Jack: Nope. Haven't heard from him since I was little.
Ratchet: That's ridiculous! Your Sire should not have been given a warrant to engage in any mentorship, much less creation!
June: You can say that again.

Ethereal- Chapter 3
Optimus X fem reader
Y'all can someone please tell me how I link all my posts together? thank you. Also I am in the middle of rewriting chapter 2 because I hate it, I come from an english literature/ poem background and that's generall how I write and it transfered into the story too much. Plus I did too much Tell and show when it should be the other way around.
Anways, apologies, enjoy an EXTRA JUICY AND LONG CHAPTER MY DARLINGS.
Wordcount- 5268
Note- I will mention that the nicknames are here for you here- Luna is Y/ns nickname, Ash's is Green, Eira's is Swift, Cassius' is Coal.
Still reeling from the surreal events that had just unfolded, Y/n and her team were left dumbfounded.
“Remember what I said, don’t use our names. This changes nothing.” She spoke hushed and quickly.
The semi-truck swiftly transformed, revealing a figure much like the other mechanical beings around them, only this one was much taller and broader, carrying an air of authority with it. Bulkhead couldn't hide his relief as he called out, "Prime!"
Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, acknowledged Bulkhead's greeting with a nod. His optics then shifted to the four enigmatic figures before him, human in size but clad in peculiar attire, their identities shrouded behind masks, adding an air of mystery to the already bizarre scene.
Before Optimus could unravel this puzzle, a familiar voice broke through the commotion. "Miko, get back here!"
Optimus turned to see Miko dashing toward him, with Raf and Jack desperately trying to restrain her. However, Miko's determination outpaced their efforts. The three young humans stared in awe at the extraordinary spectacle before them.
Jack's concern was palpable as he turned to Arcee, who clutched her side. "Arcee, are you okay? What happened to you!?"
Arcee's optics revealed a blend of pain and determination, but before she could respond, her sensors locked onto the beast, poised to strike again. "Look out!" she cried out, her warning slicing through the chaos.
In response, Optimus urgently directed the children to run, but fear seemed to glue them to the spot. The colossal black lion, its blazing red eyes a stark contrast in the cavern's darkness, hurtled toward them with frightening speed. Its menacing jaws hung wide open, a menacing roar reverberating through the cavern, foreshadowing impending danger. Optimus positioned himself protectively in front of the children, blaster ready, attempting to divert the beast's lethal charge.
Amid the escalating crisis, Y/n, acted with incredible speed, propelling herself forward with various incantations, ignoring the protests of her fellow warriors. Their collective cry, filled with astonishment and concern, echoed, "Luna!" Yet, nothing could sway her determination.
Y/n positioned herself as a shield between Optimus and the menacing lion, channelling her mystical abilities once more. Her resolute voice carried a powerful incantation, "Aspia!"
The outcome was nothing short of awe-inspiring—a shimmering energy barrier, expanding to shield the colossal metallic giant behind her. The strain on her face revealed the effort it took to maintain this formidable defence, holding back the relentless assault of the black lion.
While struggling to uphold the barrier, Y/n stole a quick glance behind her, her concealed eyes locking onto a pair of bright blue optics within the massive red and blue giant. As Y/n observed the three terrified children, she urgently directed them, "Quickly, go, get out of here!"
The children, breaking free from their momentary paralysis, sprinted toward safety within the cavern's protective walls. Once they reached a secure distance, Y/n redirected her focus to the towering mechanical being and spoke in a calm yet firm tone. "I might not know who or what you are, but you need to leave. This battle isn't yours... Prime, was it?"
The enormous mech regarded her with a mixture of surprise and gratitude. "Magic... does it truly exist?" He wondered internally, scrutinising the small figure before him. She appeared to be a woman, standing diminutively, her hair fluttering in the wind stirred by the relentless lion's attacks.
Y/n continued with an authoritative air that caught him off guard. "I'm not sure what's going on in your head or if you're in some state of shock, but I have a plan, and I can't afford any interruptions. When I say 'move,' you move with me. Understood?"
The otherworldly figure's commanding presence left him momentarily stunned.
"Who would've guessed that a tiny human femme this small could exude such dominance?"
As the menacing beast geared up for another attack, Y/n's plan went into motion. She barked orders to her team, "Coal, Green, Swift, now!"
Upon her command, Y/n lowered her energy shield and deftly rolled aside, with the towering creature closely tailing her every move. Cassius's gauntlets blazed with fiery intensity, enveloping his fists as he delivered a thunderous punch to the lion's face, momentarily dazing the beast.
Kneeling on the sandy desert floor, Ash stretched out his palms and invoked a single word, "Growth." In an instant, thick green vines erupted from the sandy ground, rapidly entwining and ensnaring the massive lion.
Eira, donned in celestial blue and gold armor, received her cue from Cassius. Aided by her winged sandals, she propelled herself into the air, brandishing a seemingly ordinary spear.
Just as she poised to hurl the weapon towards the beast for the final strike, the colossal black giant broke free from its restraints, setting the stage for an epic showdown. Fueled by unbridled rage, the beast responded with a thunderous roar that echoed across the desert, rising on its hind legs. Its colossal form soared against the moonlit sky, casting an imposing silhouette.
The colossal lion moved with surprising agility for its immense size, launching a devastating attack by extending its massive claws towards Eira, slicing her legs and tearing through her armour.. The power behind the strike created shockwaves, ensnaring the redhead in its relentless assault.
The blue cladded warrioress spun wildly through the night sky. Her surroundings became a whirlwind of confusion as she hurtled back towards the cavern. The brutal impact against the unforgiving rocks forming the cave's entrance knocked her into unconsciousness. Her lifeless body slumped onto the rocky floor, coming to rest beside the three young children who had taken refuge from the fierce battle.
"Cassius urgently cried out, his gauntlets blazing with an intense light, fueled by his overwhelming emotions. His face was etched with a mixture of frustration and deep concern as he shouted, "Swift!"
Amidst the raging turmoil, Y/n quickly issued a command, her voice filled with urgency and worry. "Green, tend to Swift, go now!"
Ash sprang into action, rushing back to the cave's entrance and sliding to a halt. His skilled hands rapidly assessed Eira's injuries, applying powerful herbs harvested from the earth. Each passing moment felt like an eternity as he battled against the relentless march of time to mend his red-haired comrade. The three young children observed him with wide, curious eyes, their expressions revealing a mixture of concern and fascination.
In the dry desert battleground, the fearsome beast shifted its focus toward the injured soldier, her healer, and the determined children. Its malicious crimson eyes tracked their every move, its massive body preparing for a charging attack.
To counter the looming threat, Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead sprang into action with precision, forming a protective barrier around the humans.
Y/n's gaze fell upon a discarded spear on the sandy ground. Seeing it stirred a mix of disdain and anxiety within her. She knew that against this unstoppable foe, she had to act with unwavering determination.
Cassius, his armor radiating a vibrant orange glow, couldn't shake the concern that weighed heavily on his mind. "Luna.. Heracles defeated the lion in 30 days," he sighed deeply, his face marked by frustration. "There's no way we can do this. It's indestructible."
Y/n's frustration churned within her as she attempted to find a solution amid the chaos surrounding them. Yet, in the midst of turmoil, a spark of inspiration ignited. With newfound determination, she turned to Cassius, her voice brimming with a daring plan.
"We don't need sheer force; I can't believe I didn't see this earlier," Y/n exclaimed, her words slicing through the tense atmosphere.
Cassius, a blend of curiosity and hope in his eyes, asked, "What do you mean?"
Y/n, resolute and focused, unveiled her audacious strategy. "Its outer shell is invulnerable. Heracles defeated it by strangling and crushing its throat. Attacking its exterior won't get us anywhere; you're right, we aren't physically strong enough to replicate what Heracles did. But if we concentrate and calculate an attack that targets it from the inside out..." She trailed off, leaving the idea hanging in the air, ripe with potential.
Cassius widened his eyes in surprise, finally grasping Y/n's plan. As the sky transitioned from pitch black to the soft hues of dawn, he looked up, his expression a mix of comprehension and concern. Their audacious plan was in motion, but Cassius couldn't help but question Y/n's role in it.
Y/n seized a nearby spear, infusing it with her energy, causing it to emanate an otherworldly glow. The ongoing battle was undeniably challenging, but Y/n's determination remained unwavering.
Cassius, his voice filled with curiosity, ventured, "Luna , none of us are proficient with a spear. The only one with expertise is Swift, and you need to be at the same height as it to stand a chance, and it's nearly sunri-."
Y/n interrupted him with a reassuring smile, "Trust me, Coal. We can finish this in one blow." Cassius furrowed his brow, intrigued. "How?"
Y/n's gaze shifted toward the colossal, red and blue mechanical figure, her expression resolute. "I need you to create a distraction when I give you the signal. And as for getting me on the same level as the lion..."
Cassius followed her gaze, locking onto the giant mech, and his eyes widened with realization. With a determined nod, Y/n dashed forward, intent on capturing the towering metal being's attention. She called out urgently, "Prime!"
Optimus Prime, on the brink of engaging the lion to provide a crucial diversion, pivoted toward Y/n's voice. His massive frame cast a formidable shadow over the desert sands, and his optics zeroed in on her. His initial plan had been to divert the lion's attention and buy precious time for the team to secure the children and escape from the perilous situation.
Y/n took a deep breath, her gaze turning toward the eastern horizon where the sun had begun its ascent, casting a warm, hopeful glow across the vast desert landscape. She bit her lip nervously, then steeled herself to speak her truth.
"Listen, I don't know you, nor do you know me," Y/n began, her voice filled with sincerity and determination. "But this creature isn't your everyday threat. It's relentless, and if we don't stop it, it's only a matter of time before it stumbles upon a nearby town..." Her eyes wandered to Ash and the children, who toiled away gathering medicinal herbs.
With a contemplative look at Arcee, her frame battered and leaking a mysterious blue substance, Y/n shifted her focus back to Optimus. Together, they watched Ash and the children working as a team.
"Just as you look out for your comrades and those kids, I look out for my team and family," Y/n continued, her tone unwavering. "One of your own is hurt, just like one of mine is. Nobody else has to get hurt if you help us. My teammate and I have a way to end this, but we can't do it alone. This creature can't be defeated from the outside; we need a plan to take it down from within." Her plea carried the urgency of their shared mission and the safety of all involved.
Optimus Prime took a moment to process Y/n's words before nodding in understanding and acceptance. "Very well, what is it you need me to do?" he asked, his deep voice resonating with authority.
Y/n tightened her grip on the spear as she answered his query. "I need you to stand next to my teammate, who's a couple of hundred metres behind us. He'll grab the beast's attention. When it starts getting closer, I need you to launch me at it. I'll handle the rest. I need to be on an equal height to it if I have a chance at making this shot. As soon as it's down, get out of here while you can in case it gets up. Save your team and those kids."
Optimus regarded the small but determined woman with a mix of apprehension and concern for her wellbeing. However, he saw no better option and agreed, realising the urgency of the situation. He knelt to the ground, allowing Y/n to climb on quickly. The giant mech then swiftly made his way toward 'Coal'.
As they took their positions, Cassius, the amber-glowing figure, looked up at both Optimus and Y/n. His gaze settled on the veiled woman. "Luna, you ready?" he asked, his voice filled with determination.
Y/n simply nodded her head in response. Cassius then shifted his attention to Optimus. "What about you, big guy?"
Optimus let out a low, rumbling hum as he looked back at Cassius. Seeing the Autobots struggling to hold back the lion, Cassius took it as his cue. With a furious shout, he slammed his gauntlet-clad right hand onto the ground, sending shockwaves that reverberated under the mechanical beings' servos and successfully grabbed the attention of the monstrous black-maned creature.
As the menacing beast charged towards her, Y/n carefully measured the dwindling meters, her heart pounding with anticipation. The early morning sun's warmth surprised her as it bathed her back, a stark contrast to the impending danger.
"Shit," she muttered, anxiety creeping in as the sky shifted to shades of yellow. Refocusing on the lion, she realized it was almost at the perfect distance. Pushing aside her fears, she urgently signaled Optimus Prime. "NOW, PRIME!"
The red mech responded swiftly, pulling back his colossal arm before launching Y/n toward the oncoming beast with tremendous force. She soared through the air, a fierce yell escaping her.
The Nemean lion's jaws were now wide open, providing the perfect opportunity for Y/n's audacious maneuver. With unwavering determination, she summoned every ounce of her remaining strength and hurled the spear. It sliced through the air like a silver comet, closing in on the lion. As it approached its target, Y/n unleashed her ultimate incantation, "ASTRIKA SYNCROUS!"
The spear's tip locked onto its target with uncanny precision, like a guided missile zeroing in on its mark. Everyone held their breath, bracing for the inevitable impact.
Then, it happened.
The spear struck, setting off a shockwave that engulfed the battlefield in blinding white light. The beast roared in agony, its thunderous cries echoing through the early morning air. The vast desert landscape bore witness as the colossal creature crumbled, its once-invulnerable crimson energy fading into the gentle light of dawn.
As the radiant brilliance faded, Y/n tumbled onto the desert floor, groaning from exhaustion and disorientation. Cassius and Optimus rushed to her side, helping her stand. "Well, you were right , Luna, you did it," Cassius said wearily, and Y/n replied with a quiet, strained hum.
The Autobots, the children, and Ash breathed sighs of relief, knowing the beast had been vanquished. Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead approached the two humans and their leader, greeted by an enthusiastic young girl. With twin bunches of hair and a barrage of questions, she bombarded Cassius and Y/n. "ARE YOU A MAGICIAN? NO, WIZARD? SORCERER? AND YOU! CAN YOU DO THAT PUNCH AGAIN? YOU MUST BE AS STRONG AS BULKHEAD, RIGHT?"
Cassius blinked at the rapid-fire questions, while Y/n continued to struggle to stand. Optimus directed the girl's attention to him, aware of Y/n's worsening condition. Cassius assisted Y/n, helping her stand.
"Take it easy, Miko. Are the others alright?" Optimus inquired, steering the conversation in a more focused direction. Miko eagerly shared her thoughts, "Yeah, but it was so awesome! I'm so glad I came! Green is amazing; he was growing plants to heal the lady, and we helped! Swift is also super nice.
At the mention of their team members' nicknames, Y/n and Cassius turned to look back at the cave's entrance. Their relief washed over them as they saw Ash carrying Eira in his arms. She was conscious but still dazed and injured. In unison, the armoured duo mumbled, "Thank the God’s."
Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee finally arrived, their paintjobs showing the marks of the intense battle. Bulkhead couldn't hide his frustration and scolded Miko, "Miko, we told you not to use the groundbridge. You, Raf, and Jack could have been seriously hurt!"
Miko waved his concern away casually, responding nonchalantly, "Oh, come on, everything turned out fine. Optimus and those two took down the beast, and I had Green and Swift to protect us!"
Ash, now part of the group with Eira in his arms and the other two kids nearby, chimed in, "Well, little dudette, I could have protected you, but I had to assist this pretty lady here. If it weren't for your friends blocking its way, we would have been in big trouble. You three were a massive help, by the way. Thank you!"
Eira, regaining her awareness, playfully swatted at Ash's chest in response to his comment. The trio of friends mumbled variations of "you're welcome," "it was nothing," and "no problem." Cassius, however, couldn't help but emit a small grunt at his brother's description of the red-haired girl he was holding. Y/n noticed this reaction and muttered something under her breath, too quiet for most to hear. It sounded like "jealous much?"
Now standing upright, Y/n turned towards Optimus Prime, her voice strained as she addressed him, "Prime? Optimus? I don't know your name, but thank you for trusting me. None of this would have been possible without all of you." She cast a glance at everyone else, adding, "Well, without all of you, really."
The yellow bot's response was a series of reassuring beeps and whirs, conveying a sense of "no problem." But just as the group was about to continue their discussion, an urgent and familiar voice echoed through the bots' intercomms.
"PRIME, TEAM COME IN, HAVE YOU FIGURED OUT WHAT THOSE LIFE SIGNATURES WERE? IF NOT, FORGET IT, I'M ACTIVATING THE GROUNDBRIDGE NOW. SEVERAL 'CONS ARE IN THE AREA AND APPROACHING YOUR CURRENT COORDINATES!"
Alarms blared within the Autobots, and concerned looks were exchanged among the humans, especially the children. Y/n and her fellow travelers shared puzzled glances, prompting the red-haired woman to voice their collective confusion. "Cons? What are they?"
Arcee, her voice tinged with worry, offered a tense explanation. "Trouble, that's what they are. We need to get these kids out of here, and we need to do it quickly."
Cassius firmly placed a reassuring hand on Y/n's shoulder, urging, "Whatever 'they' are, it doesn't sound good. Luna, we have to leave, find a safe place for you and Eira to rest."
Optimus peered down at the four humans, concern etched on his face, before briefly glancing at the rest of his team. A shared realization of the gravity of the situation slowly washed over them. Bulkhead was the first to voice his concern. "Oh boy, Ratchet's not going to be happy about this."
Arcee chimed in, "Optimus, can we really handle four more? It's already a challenge with three humans."
Bumblebee beeped and whirred, his optics tightly shut as he let out an exaggerated sigh. Then, the red and blue mech replied, "Arcee, they've spotted us, and you know the protocol."
Growing frustrated with being excluded from the conversation, Ash interjected, "I'm sorry, but you're talking about us as if we can't hear you! For the sake of the Gods, what's happening?"
Prime sighed, knelt down, and locked eyes with the four humans. In his deep voice, he explained, "You'll have to come with us. You've seen something you shouldn't have, and it could put you in danger. It's for your safety. You can't escape these beings; they're similar to us, only there are far more of them."
Cassius was about to voice his objections, but Y/n silenced him with a firm hand on his shoulder. "We don't have a choice."
He turned to her, his eyes filled with questions. " seriously?"
Y/n's determination grew stronger as she gestured to their desert surroundings. "Look around, Coal! We're stuck in the middle of the desert, exhausted. I've depleted all my magic, Swift is injured, and Green is carrying her. If there are as many of these 'Cons' as they say, we might not stand a chance, and we can't risk anyone else seeing us."
Cassius was on the verge of voicing his disapproval once more, but the semi-truck giant's words held a sincere tone that gave him pause. "I understand you have your reservations, but just as your leader asked me to trust in their judgement, I am pleading with you to understand mine."
Reluctantly, Cassius nodded at the mech. Soon, the com link came to life again as the giant continued, "Ratchet, prepare the med bay for both species."
Ratchet's voice responded with rapid concern, "Please don't say one of the kids got hurt or one of our own? How serious are the injuries?"
Optimus hesitated for a moment before replying, "Arcee is currently leaking energon, but she's still functioning fine. We have a human who's taken quite the beating, and another who appears to be unstable on their feet."
Ratchet couldn't hide his surprise. "Two of the kids got injured?!"
Optimus clarified, "No..."
"FOR PRIMUS' SAKE, WE HAVE ANOTHER TWO HUMANS?"
Arcee , who couldn't help herself, chimed in on the conversation, adding further fuel to the fire,”Actually Ratchet, it’s another Four.”
The femme’s omission was followed by a brief moment of silence.
Finally, Ratchet replied, his tone firm, "I'm opening the groundbridge now. Get through quickly; enough time has been wasted."
In mere seconds, the swirling, energy-filled portal appeared in front of everyone. Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee guided the kids forward, ensuring their safe passage. They followed closely behind, and in the near distance, the roar of several large engines reached Optimus's audial receptors and the ears of the four humans.
"GO, QUICK!" Optimus urged. Without wasting any time, they rushed toward the portal. Y/n reached out and grabbed the still-swirling orb that hovered above where the lion's body had once lain, clutching it close to her chest. But before they could fully cross over, she heard several hisses and the unmistakable sound of moving metal. Y/n turned to see several purple giant mechanical beings chasing her team, Optimus, and herself through the portal.
After what felt like an endless journey, they finally arrived on the other side, and the portal sealed shut just in the nick of time, preventing the 'cons from chasing them. The four humans now stood in a high-tech chamber, surrounded by military gear, futuristic screens, and computers.
In the corner of the room, a mechanical being, painted in white and orange, approached them. His narrow optics scrutinised the three strangely-dressed individuals and the fiery red-headed girl cradled in their arms.
"What in the AllSpark are you?" he demanded, his voice a curious yet suspicious mix. He walked toward the newcomers with a bit too much urgency, causing Cassius to erupt with sparks from his gauntlets. Anger and protectiveness surged within him as he snarled, "Touch any one of us, and I'll make sure you won't move again."
Ratchet halted his approach, his optics flickering as he assessed the situation. The other Autobots, including Optimus Prime, closed in, creating a protective barrier around the humans and diffusing the tension.
Optimus Prime took a step forward, his deep voice culling the suspense. "Ratchet, let's not resort to hostility. We ave been through a great deal." Eira, still cradled in Ash's arms, gently placed a comforting hand on Cassius's shoulder and whispered, "Hey, easy there."
After the tense moment, Cassius took a deep breath, his ember eyes reflecting the exhaustion and confusion they all felt. He looked up at the orange and white mech and offered an apology, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have responded that way. It's been a confusing and eventful 32 hours for us. So much has happened..."
Ratchet, now wearing a more understanding expression on his faceplate, nodded in acknowledgment. He took a moment to observe his team and the four humans. It was evident that everyone had been involved in a significant altercation, but it was clear that the fiery red-headed girl cradled in the wooden-clad figure's arms, had the most significant injuries.
“Arcee, come with me, i’ll patch you up” The mech muttered. Arcee, moved with slow steps, following the older bot to the med bay.
Optimus Prime, the beacon of reason, stepped forward to address their bewildered guests. "We understand that this has been overwhelming for you."
Y/n, struggling to maintain her balance in the disorienting brightness, managed to summon her determination and inquired, "As much as it is overwhelming, can we ask why these 'cons' and you are here, and what exactly are you?"
Cassius, resolute and curious, joined his leader in stepping forward, accompanied by Eira and Ash, all seeking a better understanding of their situation. The Autobots exchanged knowing glances before Prime began to explain, echoing the same explanation he'd given to Raf, Miko, and Jack several months ago. "We are autonomous robotic organisms, known as Autobots. Hailing from a distant planet called Cybertron, we arrived on Earth after our home was ravaged by a civil war with the Decepticons, who sought control of our world's vital resource—energon, it’s what sustains us."
Ash, adding to the conversation, posed a poignant question, "Alright, so you're literal aliens, good to know. But why did you choose Earth, among all the planets in space? What makes our planet so significant to you and the Decepticons?"
Optimus Prime nodded, acknowledging the importance of their inquiry. "Earth possesses a unique quality—its own deposits of energon. This invaluable resource exists in various forms. The Decepticons, like us, seek to harness this energy. However, their intentions involve domination and destruction of your kind, which we oppose, we wish to protect humanity and your world from destruction and from suffering the same fate as our home."
Y/n, Cassius, Eira, and Ash exchanged perplexed glances as the implications of this revelation began to sink in.
Prime continued, "We are here to prevent the Decepticons from causing harm to your world. Our mission is to protect humanity and ensure the safety of Earth's inhabitants."
The room was filled with a heavy silence, the humans absorbing the weight of this newfound knowledge. They were standing among colossal alien beings, their presence on Earth shrouded in secrecy, fighting a hidden battle for the planet's safety, much like their own.
Eira, her gaze now focused on the red and blue mech, asked in a soft tone, "Can I ask, why were all of you were the desert in the first place?"
Bulkhead, the hulking Autobot, decided to jump in and answer her question. "Well, the Doc-bot placed sensors all around the desert to make sure the 'cons never get too close. These sensors pick up all kinds of things—humans, animals, everything. The alarms went off, showing there were four unusual life signatures in the desert, and it was you four."
Prime then added, "We were in the desert to investigate these life signatures, to ensure the safety of everyone here and beyond."
Realisation dawned on the group as they understood the situation better, nodding their heads in understanding.
The giant mech continued, "And since the Decepticons saw you with us, they will now stop at nothing to try and hurt you. You need to stay here, for now, until we can ensure they will no longer be a threat to you."
Ash immediately replied, his determination evident, "Hang on, there's no way they could have seen us. We have masks on,the whole shebang! Besides, we have our own duties too."
Eira, now shaking in her spot, spoke quietly, her voice laden with shame, "But I didn't... I'm so stupid. I should have been quicker, and if I never got hit, none of this would have happened. We could have gotten away in time."
Y/n approached the redhead and wrapped her arms around her, giving her a comforting embrace, "None of this is your fault, hun. Some things are out of our control, and I should be the one saying sorry. I should have realised how to kill it sooner, and you wouldn't be worrying about this in the first place." She reassured her softly.
Optimus , offered his own reassurance, "Blaming ourselves won't change what's happened. We must focus on moving forward and ensuring your safety. We will do our best to help you return to your lives once this threat is eliminated."
The sounds of thundering steps made their way back into the main hangar, drawing their attention toward the source. They saw Arcee, the female Autobot, looking much better and no longer holding her side, with Ratchet following closely behind.
With the situation and story of his kind laid out, Prime shifted the focus to a critical point. "That also leads us to our own questions to you four: Just who and what are all of you?"
Cassius, feeling cautious, turned to his veiled leader, concern evident in his expression. "We can't do it; it goes against the code."
Sighing in frustration, Y/n looked at her raven-haired friend and took a moment to think before finally replying, "This is above the code; they have a right to know."
Ash nodded in agreement, saying, "Hate to break it to you, brother, but she's right. This isn't just some ordinary human accidentally finding out because we were careless."
Cassius's ember eyes began to glow with restrained anger as he shouted, "Are you kidding me? We could be putting everything we stand for, our positions, and ourselves in jeopardy. You can't be serious, Lu—"
"Oh, but I am!" Y/n firmly asserted with equal volume, making the Autobots, the children, and her companions flinch back at the iciness and authority in her tone, she continued on, "No more nicknames and codenames.Look, if the powers that be find issue with this, I'm the one that's going to suffer the consequences, not you or anyone else. This is above the code; we acted accordingly and have no choice. They have every right to know what and who we are and why we are here. They are from a whole other world and have to live in secrecy, much like us. We're not revealing ourselves to the whole world."
Eira, no longer shaking, added further, "I blew our cover in the first place. I lost control of myself and ended up dropping the armour. So I'm just as much to blame if anything were to happen. None of this was preventable."
Cassius, his anger now dampened, spoke quietly in a whisper, his voice filled with genuine concern, "I can't lose any of you..."
Y/n's gaze softened as she replied, "You're not losing any of us; I'll make sure of it." Her determination to protect her friends and companions was unwavering, and she understood the weight of the situation they were in
Ash, breaking the silence, gazed at the Autobots, whose optics were filled with confusion and uncertainty. "Are we really doing this?" He looked around at his companions, and his voice conveyed the weight of their choice. "Because there's no turning back once we do."
In response to his question, Y/n reached up to her chest and clutched the pendant on her neck, hanging by a small chain. Cassius and his twin followed suit, their expressions resolute. As the group tightened their grips on the pendants, a shared understanding passed between them. This was a pivotal moment, and there would be no going back.
The trio's armour began to dissipate into thin air, cloth, wood, and metal vanishing from their forms, the Autobots and the children started in fascination and awe. Small "whoas" escaped from the children, captivated by the unfolding spectacle.
Y/n, her eyes now reverting back to their original e/c hue, exchanged reassuring nods with her team before taking a few determined steps forward. She clenched her fists, steadying herself to speak the sentence she thought she'd utter to anyone outside of her kind or the Archway. A small, genuine smile crossed her face as she gazed at the five pairs of Cybertronian optics and the three sets of human eyes fixed upon her. Her voice, filled with sincerity and determination, cut through the air,
"My name is Y/n L/n... and I’m the Champion of the Goddess Hecate. Nice to meet you."

I made small one shot in English and Polish, ik kinda new thing for me but i hope you will like it XD
and in bonus here you go small art uwu
English:
This morning was like any other at what Danny called "place of collection antique", in other words on junkyard.
Forest that surrounded the junkyard buzzed with wild life. It was an aftermath of yesterday's evening downpour. Strong smell of fresh grass and leaves in the air.
Also, surprisingly, there weren't problems with the team. Grimlock wasn't doing anything wrong with local animals, Strongarm has not fixate on anything new yet, Drift was just quietly meditating with Jetstorm and Slipstream and Sideswipe... he was just resting after his night patrol.
"Better Saturday morning couldn't be possible to imagine!"- thought Bee, while sitting on reclining garden chair, in his blue bathrobe, reading a newspaper in peace and drinking coffee.
Bee noticed that Russell was staring at him surreptitiously from behind the metal junk. The boy looked like he suddenly was having an internal conflict, to approach him and talk. Be sighed loudly at this sight.
"Russell... you know that I can see you from there, right?" he turns his head towards him, placing his newspaper on the table.
Russell didn't expect to be seen in his hiding spot, but how he finally found some courage, and went to him.
"Hey Bumblebee, sorry for that...! I didn't mean to make it so weird... and because Sideswipe isn't available now, neither Strongarm... nor anyone else, so I thought that talking to you would be alright. That is why..." the boy was looking at the ground and playing with his fingers, it felt so awkward to want to talk with Bee about this, after all, at this point he was like his second father.
"Why is that so?"
"I know, that as a cybetronians you make children in a different way than we do and that you have two fathers- Optimus and Ratich-"
"Ratchet"
" Yes, him..." Russell leaned against the wooden table, where Bee's coffee sat. The boy took several deep breaths before continuing again. "But did you have a mom Bee?"
"A mom? Why do you ask"- Be was quite surprised with this sudden question. He didn't even know what he should tell him, the closest thing he had to a mom was Ratchet.
"It's not big deal, I'm just having weird thoughts lately." He immediately turned his head away so he wouldn't have to look into Bee's eyes.
"You know..." Bumblebee paused for a moment to think carefully about what he's should say." Do you want to tell me about those thoughts? I promise I won't tell your dad, this talk will be our secret." he smiled at Russell and the boy quickly turned back to Bee.
He instantly felt ashamed when he looked at Bee's face.
"Come here now." Bee pointed at his knee.
He sat on Bee's knee. It was a quite odd situation to him especially after he stopped getting close to him (at least for 5 meters), when he noticed that Bee smells like a den.
"Bee, do you know why I live on this musty dumb junkyard with only my dad, far away from my friends and any civilization?"
"Actually..." Bee scratched his head." I never thought about it. I thought it's quite a normal situation... but when you put it like that... sound weird.
"My mom left for a sake of a new job and... her new family in Demark. Leaving me and forcing me to move here when she wanted to start her new life all over again... She left my dad first and then me...! What have we done to make her choose her new life over us?! She doesn't even want to talk with me anymore! Do you know when was the last time we spoke? One week before your arrival on Earth! It was over a year ago...!" he fell silent for a moment and wiped his watery eyes with his sleeve." Why doesn't she love me anymore...?" He whispered.
Bumblebee hugged Russell, fully understanding his feelings and fear. The boy was still for a moment, but gently returned Bee's hug after getting used to it.
Bee ran out of ideas on what to tell him, he didn't even know what to think about it.
"It's... not that easy to say whether that she loves you or not..."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that when you are an adult sometimes you are make very stupid and horrible decisions, while thinking that is only way to make you happy again... and later, you pay for years caused by the consequences of your own actions. Trust me, I know a thing or two about it."
"But unlike her, you were really hurt and you changed, you are trying to make everything good once again! She just dropped everything and disappeared from my life in one day." Russell began to gesticulate." One day you just can't handle your own life and..." he stopped for a moment and thought about what he just said.
"Sounds pretty similar to me, huh?" he smiled softly at Russell, who, embarrassed, quickly shifted his gaze to something else.
"It's still not the same... You didn't make any commitments you couldn't meet and you were younger than her."
"Unfortunately for me, the same can't be said about my biological mothers, Rusty."
"Mothers?" he was quite stunned by this news." From what Strongarm told me about you... you only had two fathers and an older sister."
"Two adoptive fathers, that's an important detail." he emphasized." Can you wait here forna moment?"
Bee took Russell off his lap, then quickly finished his coffee and walked towards the Alchemor. The boy just sank into a chair and waited for Bee, staring at the ground and thinking about this situation.
After several minutes, Became back, wearing his normal clothes and took a second chair with him. He put it next to Russell, then took out his black leather wallet from his jeans and from one of the tiny pockets it he pulled out an old, slightly yellowed photo. He gave it photo to him.
"Look." he said."
On the photo were two women in suits, a young girl in a nice looking blue dress and an even younger boy who have yellow dungarees and pacifier in his mouth.
"This photo was taken a week before my mothers gave me and Arcee to Optimus and Ratchet."
The boy was quite bewildered by it all.
"Why had they given you away..? You looked so happy together! Even with war happening. "
Bee sat down next to Rusty on the chair he brought before.
"From what Ratchet told me, they couldn't stand the pressure and under the pretext that our city was in flames they gave us away." he sighed."... and they fled to the other end of galaxy and no one has ever heard of them again."
"Oh... that sucks"
"Yeah, I know! Because of that I had many thoughts about it! I thought I will go crazy! Usually they were like; "what have we do to you?", "were we so useless to you?", "why didn't you love us?"... and I've had them over and over again since i was really a little boy. And then Tygerpax happened..."
"Tygerpax?"
"The place on cybertron... where Megatron killed one of the very important autobots- Jetfire and almost mortally wounded me and took my ability to speak for many years..." he gently ran his fingers over the wound on his neck. He stayed silent for a moment, then quickly cleared his throat seeing the worried look no the boy's face." Anyway! I stopped having these thoughts aftter that day, you know why?"
Russell listened in silence. Then Bee took the photo back and gave him another one. On it, his teenager self and with him were Optimus, Arcee, Bulkhead and Ratchet.
"Because I had a new family already that I could worry about. Of course in the beginning it was only me and my dads, but with time our family started growing! Heck, even Arcee came back after she ran away from the main autobots camp to work on her own. It gave me the illusion of normality at least... I just... I just want to tell you that you shouldn't care about people who abandoned you, if they really care, then maybe one day they will come back to you... Maybe even I will one day have enough strength to come back to my family.
Russell stand quietly, staring at the photography. He felt lost, but at the same time he was very reassured by what Bumblebee had just told him. He took a quiet but deep breath.
"Bee...?" he whispered.
"Yeah Rusty?"
"Let's take a photo too."

- Bee, do you know why I live on this musty dumb with only my dad, far away from my friends and any civilization?
- It's... not that easy to say, that she loves you or not...
- Actually...- he scratched his head.- I never thought about it. I thought it's quite normal situation... but when you put it like that, it sounds weird.
Bee ran out of words how to answer him, he didn't even know what to think about it.
Zostawiła najpierw tatę, a potem mnie...!
- Adoptowanych ojców, to ważny szczegół.- podkreślił.-...
Na fotografii były dwie kobiety, obie miały garnitury, mała dziewczynka z ładną niebieską sukienką i jeszcze mniejszy chłopiec w żółtych ogrodniczkach i smoczek. Wszyscy wyglądali na szczęśliwych.
- To zdjęcie zostało zrobione tydzień przed tym jak, moje matki oddały mnie i Arcee Optimusowi I Ratchetowi.
Chłopak wyglądał na dość skonsternowanego tym wszystkim.
- Czemu was oddały?
- Oh...
- No wiem!
Dało mi to chociaż ułudę normalności...

In Transformers Prime, Ratchet and Optimus find a warship infected with plague.
What if the Decepticons found it first?
One last day of mourning
It didn't feel real.
It happened so fast.
One raids' worth of infected energon, and it was all over.
Raf, Miko, and Jack stood a ways away from the excavation site, the stone caskets being moved by a specially built crane.
Raf had learned cybertronian.
He didn't think he would have to scour their databases for what a grave should look like.
It was a simple arrangement.
Optimus in the center, Ratchet and Bumblebee to his left, Boulder and Arcee to his right, all on a diagonal so you can see all five caskets no matter where you where in the room.
They had gotten two calls after. Apparently, Optimus had stashed two sets of cybertronian civilians across the country, and unfortunately, they had also drunk the tainted energon.
The two children, sparklings, died hours after ingesting it in their sleep, while the four bots in Maine were still on their deathbed, Fowler shipping what supplies they had to ease their suffering.
Four weeks later, the four of them were attending yet another funeral, the whole tiny town trimmed in black. They had allies in their hurt. A home base.
They were going to finish the fight that the Autobots started.
Even if they had to fight dirty.
"Graham! I got it!" Raf shouted.
"What did you find in their databases?"
"Files on a rejected bio weapon, called the red rust plague. It includes formulas, treatments, and an aerosol based deployment method. It eats metal but can be neutralized easily. Perfect for tearing away Decepticon defenses. But first, synthesizing it. Then, we will have a second problem."
"What?" Graham said. "Expensive ingredients, toxic materials?"
"No. Their head of communications, Soundwave. We need to kill him before we even think of launching the bio weapon. I have fought him before, and he has a weak point, but you might not like it."
"What is it?"
"Lazerbeak, his symbiote. I can hack her and plant a virus that will cause him to have a seizure. While he is down, we kill him, kill Lazerbeak, and spray any bots that investigate with the rust. It takes a few days for symptoms to show up, but once it does, they won't be able to transform without activating the infection."
Graham steeled himself, remembering the feeling of a delirious, dying Boulder begging for him to stay close, to not let him die alone, forgetting that Graham was in his hands, that he was holding Graham like you would a newborn, that he wouldn't die alone. All of his teammates had died weeks before. He was the last rescue bot alive, and wasn't cognizant enough to know that he wasn't going to leave this life alone.
"So, how will we kill them?"
"I have a virus that will take out both of them. Once they are down, we will strike the killing blow with an axe."
Graham sighed. "Whatever it takes?"
Raf nodded. "Whatever it takes."
The plan went off without a hitch, and they exposed fifteen seekers to the plague.
Those fifteen spread it like wildfire through the wash racks, barracks, and finally, the medbay. Once Knockout got infected, it became an unavoidable epidemic.
The ship crashed harmlessly in the Texan desert, and with a volley of missile strikes and planted explosives, the ship was turned into a fine dust, collected and buried in thick plastic vats and sealed in concrete.
The day after the Nemesis was destroyed, all of the Autobots' human allies gathered back at the firehouse.
It was a somber but still joyful affair, swapping stories and looking at photos together.
One last day before they returned to normal life, and laid this chapter of their lives to rest.
One last day of mourning.

I’ve had an idea in my brain since starting G1 that I couldn’t make work, but I started Transformers Prime today and it clicked. Is it entirely sensical? No. But please consider Ratchet being extra grumpy about Jack, Raf, and Miko being around (like we see in the first few episodes especially) not just because of the pressure of the Decepticons’ return, but also because having children running around reminds him of something he doesn’t have right now.
His sparkmate, Hound, who’s still on Cybertron trying to fix things and help survivors.
Ratchet is frustrated only having Earth equipment, because he can’t communicate with Hound, and he worries. He doesn’t mention it to the others beyond the mention of a sparkmate, but one day Raf is helping him with the computers again and he finds an image of an Autobot, army green and smiling softly. Raf naturally asks. It’s a bot he’s never seen before, and after a moment, he apologizes, realizing this is a bot that might be a casualty. However, Ratchet smiles a little and says:
“That’s my bonded. That was after we’d just found out he was sparked.”
Raf’s confused. “Sparked?”
And Ratchet huffs, “yes. Sparked. He’s not due for a while still, but soon we’ll have a sparkling.”
“Oh! Like a baby! Congrats, Ratchet!”
And Ratchet gets a little tense. “I’m not sure congratulations are in order yet. Let’s focus on the task at hand.”
After that, the word naturally spreads around, and everyone agrees to save a part of all the energon they collect so an intergalactic portal can be opened and Hound can be brought to Earth, which may not be entirely safe, but is definitely safer than Cybertron. The kids still don’t know much about Hound beyond “Ratchet’s sparkmate”, so they’re really curious about what he’s like. All of the images they’ve seen are of him looking so happy and strangely soft for a robot. And it’s Jack that finally works up the courage to ask first.
“What’s he like? Your…sparkmate, right?”
And Ratchet says, “he is impulsive at times, but only because he puts others before himself. He wasn’t built for the war and joined it anyway because he wanted home to be home again for the next generations. He’s the kind that finds beauty in all things, even the broken and damaged ones.”
“He sounds really great.”
“He wants to be on Earth badly, ever since the first time.”
And Jack is about to ask about the first time, but things get hectic. It sits in the back of his mind until the day there’s enough energy to make the portal work, and Ratchet can finally bring Hound to him. Optimus accompanied him back to Cybertron to search - “blasted Earth tech doesn’t even pick up a fraggin’ signal-“ “Ratchet, the language, please” - and they’re gone for a while, almost too long, and return right in time with Hound in tow. He looks tired (“can robots even get tired?”) but he’s smiling, just like in all of the pictures. Ratchet pulls him along to give him an exam, asking about the damages to his armor and if he’s in pain before finally asking:
“Our sparkling?”
And Hound grins and grabs Ratchet’s hand and puts it on his middle mesh, right where his energon womb would be.
“They’re taking their time. You didn’t think they were gonna come without their sire around, did ya?”
And Ratchet fusses and worries because the sparkling should be much bigger now, but Cybertron’s energon sources have been depleted, so it’s possible Hound wasn’t getting enough to help nurture the sparkling. He’s upset when Hound says he often gave his portions to others, chastises him for it, even, and that’s when the kids arrive and Hound’s mood immediately brightens. Ratchet can’t stay mad; he just hands Hound some liquid energon and tells him to drink before introducing the kids.
