I absolutely adored the way that Logan and Laura were fighting in this movie! A lot of people were making fun of Logan in particular and saying he looked silly (like the scene where he crawls on all fours) and… duh! The previous X-men films have always tried to make Logan look super cool when he fights and I feel like he just. Wouldn’t. He’s not trying to look cool, he fights like an animal. That’s the point. So I just loved that he (and Laura) had a way more animalistic fighting style in this movie! Like have you ever heard that you need special spears to hunt boar? Because if you don’t kill them when you hit them, they’ll walk up the spear (pushing it further into themselves) so that if it dies it’ll take you with it. To me, that’s how the wolverines fight. You’ve seen them, they don’t run away from gunfire, they walk into it.
