figuring out teams for characters who dont have canon teams/only partially full kinda fun sometimes .
I already have talked abt Argenta's team previously bc of CiaCM but im still sticking to my decisions . Meganium specifically is her old starter/possibly child of her original starter? still trying to decide. But Meganium is just such a Her pokemon to my brain in no way i could explain. Same with ninetales it just feels right. Dragonite from the tcg cards and Skarmory from pokemas. Apharos and Floarzel have less explanation else then the vibes just felt right for her
thorton bottom text. Most are from pokemas/one a reference to pokespe team. Rotom just Feels like a thorton 'mon and Cyclizar just feels right in my heart
Darach keeps his canon 5 + gains Haxorus as once again. Trust Me Bro.
Dahlia swaps out Medicham for Quaquaval ! It fits her dancing theme to a t as a fighting type more then Medicham. and also the more i can ignore medicham the better. Gourgeist and Dragapult reserves have just been smtn ive been thinking abt for a couple years now. Which accidentally means she has a lot of ghost types lol
Palmer doesn't change his team. lmao
for the hoenn brains i don't think most of them would shuffle their teams too much and stuff down the line but i do have Thoughts abt additional pkmn they'd have. Specifically how much Greta with a Zoroark would suck so severely it should be banned from the Battle Arena. which is exactly why she should have one. Same logic for Aegislash. "How would she have a Sneasler?" how do half these people have the legendaries they canonically have. Its free real estate.
Tucker's is mostly just following his trend of pokemon that would all later receive mega evolutions bc HOW did all his canon mon receive them. He's the reason the battle frontier didn't return /j
behold the worlds most unique Brandon team /j. Anyways all canon mon else then Gimmighoul which just FEELS like a brandon pokemno but specifically not a fighter. It just sits in his office and torments Samuel
Lucy is Lucy. Lucy has snakes. I imagine Serperior would run a contrary based set to rough up people unprepared. The entire second row are non-combat pokemon though! Arbok being an old pokemon from her youth who was already old when she caught him and is now a little too under the weather to battle all the time. Dunsparce. Typhlosion Mamoswine and Skitty are based off some of her anime-only housecats but i let the first two evolve over time! Skitty is a menace to society. Skitty will make everything Your issue. Lucy refuses to accept anyone trying to tell her that her Skitty is the worlds biggest problem causer skitty.
Noland. Running out of things to say. Gestures with my hands.
I have not added any new pokemon to Anabels list of pokemon. She just has so fucking many between sun/moon and the anime originals
However. That was Fallerbel. Mega-timeline/non eeby deebied Anabel gets a different team layout then her since their life experiences after a certain point are completely different
Spenser gets a Tangrowth bc that just feels right. Given its been a little over 10 years im not sure he works at the frontier anymore though that man is over 100 :sob:
I'm still to this day deciding who takes over the Battle Palace in his place [ive been thinking abt wally but am mortified of being accused of copying other people :sob: so i gotta think] But since Anabel gets deebied to megaverse theres a spot open in the Tower for a new Tower Tycoon so. Slaps oc that needs to be redesigned so badly in here, Dia. She's Perrin's cousin but i created her before Perrin existed :sob: so feeling meh on her design. Anyways.
#talk tag#juniverse tag#just staring to add 'verse tags with names for those that have planned lastnames. girl help#Argenta Zhuravlyov#Azami 'Lucy' Orochi#Anabel Hashidoi#Tucker Rhodora#Greta Calcarata

Some replies, mostly not very long ones today, but there is one about some characters being tops or bottoms! Wow, that was a clumsy way to explain it lol
thestarlightfae asked:
SHE'S SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought the drawings on here were yours and the drawings on the Nebula collage tumblr were Katsu's.
Thank you for answering!
HEHEHE THANK YOUUUUUU wait why am I thanking you, I have nothing to do with Mila being adorable. She really is!
Also thank you for answering, I really was wondering! lol yes that makes sense. But yeah, I am an artist for Nebula College, but it’s mainly Katsu’s brain baby in terms of absolutely everything else <3
Once again, thank you for your questions.

I literally stalk your page everyday to see when you post! Your posts, may they be writing or art, are always delicious. This isn't a question or anything, but I thought you'd like to know how much some people enjoy your posts❤️
Anon! You scared me there for a second, but then your message turned out so sweet!! 🥺💕💕💕 Thank you so much for your kindness and for enjoying our stuff! It makes me super happy to hear that…

Bitting those Ortho calves chomp chomp 🤤
Damn enjoy your meal Anon~
Anonymous asked:
I find the whole top and bottom thing kinda interesting: so I'm curious to know if you have any headcanons for the characters not on the list so far; Vargas, Sam, Crowley, Najma, Baul, Eliza etc.?
I’m glad you find it interesting, Anon! It’s a very subjective preference-based thing, so I see how someone might find it weird, even though it’s not as rare on the Eastern side of the fandom…
Oof, this is a good question lol A bit difficult to tell with some of them because we just don’t ship them with anyone, buuuut.
Vargas is a top because while he isn’t super interesting to us, he fits a very specific role in a very specific trope verrry nicely (gym teacher/badly performing student).
Sam is a mysterious man, but somehow gives us top vibes. Crowley has the same reasoning for also being a top… for now. He is also an authority figure and misuses his power + an idiot, we love those two things in tops lol But we don’t know enough about him and don’t ship him with anyone.
Baul is a top; we haven’t seen him, but we know the type, and we love seeing this kind of a man as a top. Similarly to Sebek, to be fair.
Eliza is *drum roll* also a top because Idia attracts those with his babygirlness lol We aren’t invested in Eliza enough to give her a concrete role though, it’s mostly just because she is bossy and more assertive than Idia.
Can’t say anything about Najma, haven’t met her yet at all, unfortunately :( Not getting any vibes yet, but excited to figure her out one day… when we watch the event.
Anonymous asked:
Idia: *exists*
Everyone: It's free real-estate
Poor guy just wants to sit in his room and play video games T-T
It’s his fault for being such a datesim protag! He just keeps attracting more and more weird people… (good hehehe)
m1lk-n-cook1es asked:
This quote from Shiori Novella summarises Idia/Ortho : "once you're a ghost brother, are you really a brother at that point?"
(this quote refers to Miku and Mafuyu's relationship in Fatal Frame)
lol absolutely fair. And in their case, it’s a robo-ghost brother! Or a blot-ghost brother! The layers of taboo slowly disintegrating….
Anonymous asked:
So, in conclusion, Jade has a mushroom kink.
Mushroom isn’t just a kink, mushroom is a way of life, mushroom is everything and anything, mushroom is everywhere…
Anonymous asked:
Have you heard of obey me nightbringer/master to rule them all it's a good game and has many good characters
I have heard of it and seen some of the characters (they’re pretty popular as far as I can tell!), but we haven’t played it.

Remember when I made that poll where we collaboratively made a fakemon? Well folks, it wasn’t entirely incomprehensible by the end!
And you know what that means! Here’s what a maximum of 41 of you people have been waiting for, our friend….. IHaven’tThoughtOfANameYet
You wanted floaty bits? It’s ALL floaty bits! You wanted it to be like 40% wings and 40% tail and maybe just a little bit of arms and head? And you wanted that to be covered in eyes? I… did my best! And the cheese slice IS there, it’s just uh. A little old. Finely aged. And also inedible.
Info on the creacher under the cut!
Their category would be either the Curator Pokémon or the Macabre Pokémon. It’s a genderless Rock/Ghost type because, c’mon, it’s the obvious choice, and what are old bones if not just rocks in progress? In battle, their signature ability would be Coalesce, which restores 30% of damage dealt by rock type moves, and also raises its more proficient defensive stat by one stage. I imagine it’d be a halfway decent counter to everyone’s favorite salt staller, what with the immunity to Salt Cure. Alternatively, it can get Levitate as a hidden ability.
These guys are made up of multiple individuals(like Stakataka, Falinks, Maushold, etc) that live in a group; when encountering another group, they’ll usually just combine rather than fighting over their bones because Bigger Skeleton Nice. They don’t know exactly how most bones are supposed to fit together, and they also don’t care. They are similarly unconcerned with not mixing different remains, so they’re usually just a mishmash of various deceased things, using bones from multiple sources as desired.
As for why exactly they do this, nobody really knows for sure. It was once theorized that they do it because they couldn’t see the other parts of living things(like permanent X-Ray vision) and thought they would fit in better by doing this… But of course that was disproven when someone pointed out they can see and interact with invertebrate/Boneless™️ Pokémon just fine. Now it’s most commonly thought they are made up of departed spirits that couldn’t pass on, and seek to make themselves a body so they don’t disappear. Still others think they are kinda just freaks, going around possessing bones and putting them together because there’s nothing really telling them not to. Speaking of which, the bones they’ve possessed/inspirited do not break or wear down the same way normal ones do. If they are somehow damaged, they can use other bones to repair them.
They’re more curious about living things than wary of them, and are overall pretty docile despite their frightening appearance. It’s unheard of for one to attack unprovoked.
That said, their curiosity and lack of fear makes them quite a nuisance to paleontologists— they will shamelessly steal excavated bones and fossils AND put them back together wrong, which just adds insult to injury. They’re also rather obnoxious to Palossand, intentionally harassing them because they learned the spooky sandcastles will give them free bones if annoyed enough. It should also be noted that they do NOT get along with Cubone, Marowak, or Mandibuzz, but seem to mingle just fine with Pokémon revived from fossils. None of their pestering behavior is from a place of malice, though— they just don’t have much of a concept that not all currently unused bones are free real estate.
Lastly, it’s likely that they are responsible for a lot of tales of fossils that mysteriously disappeared once excavated or moved to storage— it’s next to impossible to tell them apart from regular bones when they’re not active, beyond their unusual durability and shape. However, the presence of bones in various conditions and stages of decomposition or fossilization should be enough to give it away to any non-amateur paleontologist what they’re dealing with, even if it’s not immediately clear that the “skeleton” is a hodgepodge. If you aren’t sure, you can always try to wake the dead and see if it actually works or not!
Some design notes: the “wings” were actually based on the bones in human arms, hands, and fingers, just shuffled around a lot. The head was very loosely inspired by half of a pelvis, with the shape of the part under the eye actually being a reference to when it was just a straight up broken pelvis. The tail tip is actually a bony talon, while the main body is mostly vertebrae from a tail. The normal form’s coloration is just meant to look like bones from three skeletons in different stages of desiccation, with the eyes meant to have a glazed over look to them. As for the markings, I originally planned to have them match the translucent areas/ectoplasm, but then I realized using something similar to the eye color would make them look more like the eye spots they were meant to be while also looking like they could have been more vibrant but got sunbleached. The shiny’s colors, in turn, are simpler: the palette is just meant to evoke zombie or bog body vibes.
Making this lad was fun! I’ll think of a name eventually, unless anyone wants to make suggestions. Maybe I’ll even go back and clean up the coloring to not just be 90% fill tool. And if you’d be interested in using this design in a fangame or as inspiration/to do a redesign, feel free to do so with credit, and send me whatever thing it is that it’s used for! :>

Moira O’Hara x Reader - The first encounter
Pairing: Moira O’Hara x Shy! Very Inexperienced! Reader, Reader is female
Summary: literally just your first meeting with her
Warnings: None just a flirty conversation and it’s my first ever fanfic so bare with me pls 🙏🙏🙏
As the woman, Y/n, was led into the house by her real estate agent, Moira watched intently from the shadows. She could sense the innocence emanating from Y/n's eyes, a stark contrast to the usual men she encountered. Moira smiled, already knowing that this new arrival would be perfect for her plans.
Moira continued to observe as Y/n's wide-eyed gaze wandered around the old mansion, taking in the shadows and dark corners. She found Y/n's innocence and shyness endearing. Maybe a little too innocent and shy for her usual type, but there was something about the woman that intrigued her. Moira decided right then and there to try her luck with Y/n, to see if she could win her affections, instead of using her usual tactics of manipulation.
Moira came out the shadows to introduce herself to Y/n "Excuse me, miss. I hope I didn't startle you. I'm the house's maid, and I've been serving the previous owners for generations. Now, I'd be happy to serve you as well. I know times can be tough for many people, so if you're struggling financially, I'm even willing to work for free."
Y/n shifts uncomfortably, feeling a bit self-conscious in the presence of the beautiful maid, who smiles warmly, almost coyly. The way Moira is looking at her makes Y/n's heart race - she's never been on the receiving end of such direct attention before.
"Um, th-thank you," Y/n manages to stutter out, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. She can't help but notice the way Moira's maid's uniform clings to her form, revealing just a hint of a curvy figure.
Moira's smile widens as she notes Y/n's flushed cheeks and the way her eyes keep flickering down to her uniform. She can sense the woman's attraction to her, and it only serves to spur her own interest even more.
"You're welcome," she replied, her voice low and smooth. "But I have to say, you don't seem too convinced by my offer."
Y/n's heart fluttered in her chest as she met Moira's gaze, feeling more and more flustered as the woman smirked at her. She had never been flirted with before, and it was both exciting and scary.
"I-I didn't mean to be rude," she managed to say, fiddling with the hem of her shirt, her eyes darting away and then back to Moira's face.
Moira chuckled softly, shifting closer to Y/n until their bodies were almost touching. She could see the younger woman's pulse racing beneath the thin skin of her neck, and found it incredibly endearing.
"Not rude," she murmured. "Just...unsure. But trust me, I can be very convincing."
Y/n's heart skipped a beat as Moira's breath ghosted across her skin, making her shiver. She could smell Moiras perfume, a heady mix of roses and something else - something spicy and dangerous. Her head was spinning, and all she could do was stare at Moira, her wide eyes betraying her nervousness.
"Convincing?" she whispered, licking her suddenly dry lips.
Y/n's heart continued to flutter as Moira leaned in even closer, the woman's presence both intimidating and exciting. Her mind was a jumble of thoughts and emotions, and all she could do was stare fixedly at Moira's smirking mouth.
"Y-yeah," she managed to say, her voice coming out as a hoarse whisper. "You're definitely...convincing." She swallowed hard, trying to ignore the way her body was responding to Moira's proximity.
Moira, her sultry gaze fixed on Y/n, leaned in closer, her lips inches from the woman's ear. "I'll be the best maid you've ever had," she murmured, her breath warm against Y/n's skin. "I promise you'll never regret hiring me."
Y/n shivered at Moira's words, her heart beating wildly. In that moment, she knew that she was in for a wild ride. Little did she know just how true Moira's promise would turn out to be.

✨ What was your inspiration in making your muse?
Munday Meme ✨ What was your inspiration in making your muse?
I ended up getting on a roll, apologies, so I put this under a read-more ^^;;;
It depends on the character for sure! I usually end up really vibing with a concept i want to build around, like a personality archetype or a story element. Usually this is a pretty generic concept, and then I build out the rest of the OC, trying to understand their place in the world and how the life they've lived has affected who they are, and make it more personal to me so I get attached.
Caelan for example, is a fae prince who was raised as a weapon by his family during a war, due to his abilities and how intense his magic is-- he was hunting the enemy prince down, had him cornered in a fight, when the ground falls apart beneath them and they're pulled underground-- deep into webbed catacombs, where they're hunted by a monster over and over again. His whole concept was basically born from the desire to play with the idea 'character trapped in a maze being hunted by a creature'. Which--- was initially a concept i started playing with because of a song about the ghosts in pacman being trapped in the game and eaten by pacman xD
I think the main exception to this style of creation for me is Artair, which I'm sure you were asking about! So I apologize ahead of time for the tangent incoming xD
My very first character I ever rped online was Arthur from Mystery Skulls Animated, which was a collection of music videos following a plot revolving around four main characters dealing with the supernatural, set to indie artist Mystery Skulls' songs. But the thing was, MSA only gave us the vaguest details about the characters when the first video came out, which is when I started writing him. The most we knew about Arthur was that he had been possessed and forced to kill a teammate, and that he lost his arm to an animal teammate that seemed to stop the possession. Also that he was kinda like-- a fraidy cat? MSA was basically a parody of Scooby Doo with a twist, so he was a little like a yellow shaggy lol.
But yeah, it was actually really cool because every version of the same character was so wildly different, because it was so vague that there was so much room for interpretation! We weren't sure how well the group knew each other except that they were on the same team, we were only given blood types to determine personality, we didn't even know if the animal teammate spoke to the team-- even things like how they grew up or where they were or family dynamics were up in the air at the time. When his uncle was revealed soon after the video, I wrote Arthur as growing up with him after his own parents passed, but there were dozens of interpretations-- some where Arthur only came to live with him as an adult, or an older kid, with details ranging from his family was bad news, passed, or just too busy to look after him. One of the characters didn't have a last name for years. It was all kinda just--- free real estate lol.
So over the course of a decade I wrote him, i built out every detail about Arthur, including stuff like his history/backstory, his relationships, his abilities, his personality beyond the fearfulness-- even some details about the events that were canon. Over time as I was writing him, he changed personalities in a lot of major ways too, as storylines from rps and events happened while writing him. He changed, for better and worse, and the things I focused on more were less and less aligned with canon. I started experimenting with ideas and concepts i really liked too, especially ones like him being a medium, which then further deviated into eldritch/celestial/fae stuff, since I always had a deep interest in those kinds of beings. But that only continued to take him further and further from anything resembling MSA lol.
And I guess at some point a few years ago, i realized he was basically an OC, but with a canon coat of paint?
Soooo I basically took him and gave him a redesign and overhaul to make him an OC. I kept some elements i loved of Arthur that drew me to him in the first place, but I tried to get away from his original design as much as I could without making him feel too different to my brain. I kept a version of events similar to the first video, due to how formative they were, but everything else pretty much got chucked out. The rest I kept was heavily altered if it wasn't reliant on my own headcanons already.
The only other thing I kept was kind of keeping his name similar. I kept Arthur as a name he used for a while growing up due to kids being mean about 'weird' names, which he still uses as a safety precaution with people/fae, since so much of his history he was known by it. Then I gave him a scots version as his official legal name, since I had headcanoned Arthur was directly scottish anyways and would likely pick it, with the headcanon that as Artair got older he stopped caring what people thought of his name and started going by the one he chose. It was different enough to feel i was separating him from MSA, but close enough that it didn't feel wrong when I was so attached to 'Arthur' as his name for a decade (part of my initial attachment to him was connection to Arthur as a name and him being the color yellow, whoops)
But yeah! Overall for me, it's just about interesting or fun narrative concepts. And then there's Artair being the one canon guy who got hit with extreme OC-ification beams over time xD
Also, here's an old and silly spider-man meme doodle of Arthur and Artair if you made it this far xD

Welcome to my self-indulgent writing blog where I post whatever I want <3 I'm Mod Six, here are my other blogs!
@jabberwockprinceart (ARTBLOG ARCHIVE)
@jabberwockprince (MAIN BLOG)
@nobodies-png (KINGDOM HEARTS BLOG)
Art Commissions Info (CURRENTLY OPEN)
For rules, fandoms I write for and etc, etc read below--they will be updated from time to time as I see fit!
I won’t write : Matchups, anything regarding rape or explicit self-harm (ie: X reacting to the reader cutting). Explicit NSFW (ie: sex scenes, gore is fine)
I will write : Yandere, AUs, fluff, platonic and romantic interactions. Continuations of previous works, short scenarios, headcanons. In-depth analysis of characters. Basically free real estate, don’t hesitate to ask if you’re unsure about your prompt!
For Reader based requests, I’ll always use gender neutral pronouns and keep things as vague as possible. The only exception to this are LGTB+ prompts (ie : X comforting a dysphoric S/O. Y reacting to the reader coming out. Etc). Requests asking for general fem!Reader/male!Reader will be ignored.
Please, refrain from using characters from other media as reference when requesting a specific type of reader insert (ie: a reader who acts like Strategos Six from Ava’s Demon). I’m not in every fandom nor I know every character ever or what exact traits you’re hoping to see, so simply describe what you’re looking for! Don’t be afraid to send two asks if it gets too long. That helps me a lot when writing!
The max of characters per ask is 5 for now. When sending a prompt, please make sure not to mix fandoms, just so it’s easier for me to organize things. Thank you!
I don’t answer asks in a specific order, I just go for whatever catches my eye at the moment. This blog is entirely for fun, after all! Which means I also hold the right to delete and ignore any request for whatever reason
Here’s a list of fandoms I’m into that I write for! This is not an extensive list, so feel free to try your luck with other stuff, especially if you want AUs! I don’t write for Genshin Impact characters but I always like inserting different characters in the universe lmfao
These also serve as a directory to each fandom's masterlist!
Keep in mind, I tend to hyperfocus only on one fandom at a time until I lose interest.

clarification when we refer to gen B vs gen b, gen B are the ones who are descendants of the first gen, and gen b were directly genetically altered. anyway this been a project mpekamitzii (who is here now in addition to instagram) and i have been working on since 2018!! it's much more sci fi than it was originally due to mitzii's influence lmao i love it a lot! and oh man the characters they're so much fun- it will get long so i will just give u Shane Kit and Mira ->
originally we had started out w three people so Kit was the other person's, Mira was mine, and then Shane is mitzii's, but Kit is free real estate now--Shane and Mira have a 60k slowburn type thing going on, Kit is very younger sibling, they are all irrevocably changed by knowing each other, etc, etc.
Shane is going through it academically and missing home she moved to the island just a few months ago with her mom and is living with her grandma and is overall Not Doing Well but when you gain super strength and enhanced healing overnight hey what can u do. you make the island safer right? she's from germany she goes on runs to destress she listens to celine dion she is in the fifth stage of burnout for the third time this year, irreplaceable character, i love her
Mira is (back of the room yelling MY KID!!!!) this--they're trying to deal with all this grief from losing a lot of people close to them and trying to get back into the real world after dissociating for months (has dissociative amnesia) and they have no friends and they're a closeted trans kid struggling with like. the everything and then they get the flu and when they wake up they suddenly have the ability to turn basically ghost, which can do great things and that can also absolutely crush them on their way to Trying To Get Better. mira being mira they smash the button and join shane and kit and can't go back now, especially not when there are so many people they've loved that are involved in the fight 😀👍
Kit is this kid who's constantly trying to prove herself, constantly having to make herself loud, etc. (but then balks when given real attention). we haven't developed her much yet other than being korean hispanic (so much spicy food lmao) and having a porcupine/hedgehog-like superpower where she can grow quills and shoot them at ppl.she is so scrunklo
i am shaking in my boots ink i love them already so so much and i wish i could like. articulate enough to give you a proper long ass response like i usually do but i am just. so many thoughts zero words to be found helloooooo i love your blorbos so much holy shittttt also kit is my favorite now i think. i love mira and shane so much too though oh god theyre so. trauma is real i think. found family is also real. 60k slowburn is also so so real. dying and crying rn

LG Expands UltraGear OLED Monitor Lineup with New Models
UltraGear OLED Monitor Features
The firm has now released the complete specs and price for three more monitors, providing a more complete view of their characteristics and target market, even if the original presentation of LG’s high-end 4K UltraGear OLED monitor displays made some prospective customers shudder.
LG UltraGear OLED Monitor A Pair of Slope Titans
Along with its previously revealed brother, the 27GP950, the freshly revealed monitors, the 34GS95QE, 39GS95QE, and 45GS95QE, demonstrate LG’s dedication to the premium UltraGear OLED Monitor display market. For those looking for an immersive visual experience, gamers, and creative professionals, all four models have an amazing 3440 x 1440 resolution that offers remarkable clarity.
Revealing the Display Variations
As suggested by their titles, the primary distinction between these three monitors is the size of their screens. For those who like a mix between screen real estate and desktop footprint, the 34GS95QE’s comfortable 34-inch display is perfect. Featuring a 39-inch display, the 39GS95QE elevates the experience by offering content makers and multitaskers a larger viewing area. Lastly, the 45GS95QE, the largest of the three, engulfs users in their work or gaming with its enormous 45-inch display.
Gamers’ dream combination
Beyond only size, all three displays have a few essential characteristics that are tailored especially for gamers. Long gaming sessions won’t tire your eyes thanks to the 800R curvature, which guarantees a pleasant viewing experience. Even in very fast-paced games, the 240Hz refresh rate ensures exceptionally fluid graphics that are free from tearing and stutter. Together with FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync compatibility, this fast refresh rate ensures smooth variable refresh rate (VRR) support for compatible AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, removing tearing and stuttering artifacts.
A Feature Set for Everyone Beyond Gaming
Although the characteristics described above primarily target gamers, the monitors’ specs also appeal to a wider range of users. The 0.03 ms GtG reaction time reduces ghosting, which is important for both fast-paced gaming and quick mouse movements, while the 275 cd/m² typical brightness guarantees outstanding reading in well-lit surroundings.
Making Sure It’s Compatible
All three displays have the same connector options, providing flexibility for different configurations. For connecting contemporary graphics cards and other devices, there are plenty of possibilities with two HDMI 2.1 connectors and one DP 1.4 port. A USB 3.2 Type-B input, two USB Type-A outputs, and a headset connector are also included to accommodate various devices and audio requirements.
Ergonomics and Aesthetics
Although the screens provide an immersive viewing experience, their curved design has an ergonomic drawback. These monitor stands don’t have the full range of ergonomic adjustments seen on certain flat-panel displays; they just allow for tilt, swivel, and height adjustments. For those who need exact monitor alignment for maximum comfort, this might be a problem.
The Price Tag Myth
It’s undeniable that the cost of these new UltraGear OLED Monitor displays has drawn criticism. The starting price of the 34GS95QE is a substantial US$1,299.99, while the 39GS95QE is priced at US$1,499.99. The 45GS95QE is the most expensive, retailing for an eye-watering US$1,699.99. With these high-end products, LG is clearly aiming to appeal to a certain niche demographic. Although competitors offer comparable displays at considerably lower price points with lower refresh rates, OLED’s high refresh rate, large screen sizes, and appealing design appeal to a certain user base that values the latest innovations and absorbed viewing experiences, which may make the higher price point worthwhile for some.
Conclusion

The fuck is up with being in eterna forest anyways?
{{ ooc: That was a development over multiple years of planning Jess's life! (I've been writing about xir for like. 16 years. what the h--)
Anyways! It sort of happened naturally, it wasn't the original intention or conscious decision. tl;dr Jess was happiest there in the story, a lady gave xir the cottage, and xe didn't have anywhere else that feels like home, so xe moved in there permanently after traveling the world and wanting to settle down. Also, easy access to Misdreavus. And I liked it, so Jess probably would too!
Jess was always meant to be a little on the goth side. I gave xir my love of the dark, and Eterna Forest is supposed to be dark Even In the Daytime. I made Jess just a LITTLE more nocturnal than I am, a little more photosensitive than me, a little more connected to spiritualism than me too. So like, Eternally Dark Forest with Native Ghosts? Naturally, xe liked the place!
It was already special because it was xir very first Destination on xir journey. Xe set out specifically to train a Misdreavus! So of course, in Sinnoh, that meant going to Eterna Forest. They leave to explore the world after finding the ghosts, getting to know each other, and training a bit, but xe enjoyed being there while it lasted.
When Jess and the team return to Eterna for the first time, they're all so HAPPY to be there. It just reached a point where I realized Jess and the team were always happiest in Eterna Forest. (Mistress is actually a big factor in that; while both she and Missie were born in Eterna Forest, Mistress didn't take very well to captured life at first, and she felt more at home in the wild. Eterna Forest felt more like home to her than anywhere else in the world.)
Jess deciding to live there permanently is also a factor of Other Story Elements. There's a part, waaay down the chronology from where A Work of Magic is published so far, where Jess seeks out this ghost expert xe found out about online. This lady lives in Eterna Forest because, frankly, I thought "spooky house off the beaten path deep in the dark woods" sounded eerie and understated and cool. It's part stereotypical ~Witch~ and part "The Old Chateau is Haunted so maybe the whole forest is too".
It's a long story, but basically Mistress couldn't use any ghost-type moves in the entire story up to that point, they had to work around it for contests and battling and everything. Jess had by then consulted lots of different people, asked their opinion, tried to work with experts including Mr. Fuji and The Move Tutor, even had about a week of training with ghosts in Lavender Town, and Mistress STILL couldn't use any ghost moves.
So when xe finds out about this underground expert on ghosts, Jess is desperate enough to bring Mistress (and the whole rest of the team AND xir best friend) to this lady. Who is also in Eterna Forest.
They wind up bonding, this is the lady Jess learns the most about ghosts and magic from, Jess and Sonia live there with her while training Mistress, and the lady ends up passing away, leaving Jess and Sonia her little cottage in the woods.
(Insert "It's free real estate" meme here.)
Jess and Sonia eventually move on, though. Jess checks on the place to keep it up to date, and as xe grows xe goes to other regions, but never feels "at home" anywhere else. The cottage is sort of xir default Home Base, because xe doesn't get along well enough with xir family, and they don't own any property to pass down anyways. Besides, xe's most at home among the dark and the quietude and isolation.
Conveniently, xe is a Massive Fucking Introvert and the cottage is off the beaten path, so there are very few people to bother them.
See also: the One Singular Year I spent living in an apartment complex tucked away in the local metroparks, at the edge of a wooded area, and it was my very favorite place I've ever lived. I miss it a lot actually. Being able to walk for 3 minutes and be at the river, or in the trees... the looks people gave me when they saw a cloaked person emerging from the woods at 11:32pm on a Tuesday night... >:} It was amazing. So, I maaaay be sort of living vicariously through the decision to keep Jess in the forest.
But mostly, it's just where Jess is happiest.

Hmmm yeah, a lot of people don't seem to realize it but exactly what makes a pokemon a ghost type is, well, there's not a strict list of criteria like there are for some other types. The standard 18 type system is pretty rigid and it's helpful in understanding pokemon's relations to the world and one another, but it doesn't really let people realize the amount of variety within each type, if that makes sense? Not all ghost types are strictly what we would consider 'dead', as in they came into existence by experiencing something akin to 'birth' and an event that drastically changed the nature of that existence, usually going from a more corporeal to incorporeal form in the process. In humans what's considered to be that exact moment of death varies depending on the culture and the individual considering it, some say it's when your heart stops, or when you stop breathing, or when your brain seizes functioning, etc. But death itself isn't always an easily defined, neat and tidy process. Even less so for pokemon, who come in a nearly endless variety of sentient beings and the nature of whose existence is often so different from our own.
There are some ghost types you can euthanize in a more literal sense like shelterstories mentioned, generally the ones that are the closest to what's commonly considered as being 'alive', but it really, really depends on a pokemon's species. Like how do you provide a 'good death' to a being that's already dead, or beings that were never technically 'alive' to begin with and thus can't die in a literal sense? A lot of the time that's got more to do with soothing the pokemon so it can move on to whatever comes next for it. Take banettes, for example. Exactly how they come about is actually pretty varied despite what a lot of pokedexes like to claim, that they're all the spirits of abandoned toys and want vengeance on whoever abandoned them, but a lot evolve from shuppets who decide to take up residence in a toy. It can be hard if not impossible to ascertain an individual shuppet's motivations for that, but a lot of them are curious or want to give having a more corporeal form a try, and toys are a convenient medium of possession that they find themselves particularly drawn to. (I've heard of some refusing to possess certain toys because they, for whatever reason, were not to the shuppets' liking, and people wanting to evolve their shuppets are encouraged to offer a variety for them to choose from. My banette Mirage wasn't so picky, she just kinda saw one of my old toys and went 'it's free real estate' all on her own one day. She's always been a bit impulsive, lol).
A lot of the more 'stereotypical', vengeful banettes can be rehabilitated, but others are so caught up in their anger and sadness that it essentially chains them to our world, and they either can't move on by themselves or simply refuse to. They're spirits inhabiting toys, you can't stick some vaccine needles in them and call it a day. In my region, Hoenn, and many nearby regions, channelers or other spiritual experts perform rituals to help the banette (and pokemon with similar profiles, the whole '*technically* neither alive nor dead' thing) move on. Some pokemon are easier to handle than others, unfortunately. I also know the exact nature of those experts and how they tend to handle the situation varies a lot over the world, and some tend to be more humane than others. I particularly am not fond of 'experts' who treat ghost types like inherently malevolent forces and don't seem to actually take the pokemon's wellbeing into consideration, a lot of times their primary concern is just 'getting rid of them'. They're more common in some regions than others, and it has a lot to do with certain regions' cultures and attitudes towards ghost type pokemon in general.
do… do ghost types ever have to be euthanized??? They are (with exceptions like frillish and dragapult) already dead, right? What happens if a ghastly or yamask is gravely ill or cannot live in peace due to health conditions?
dead vs. not-dead isn't really a helpful category when talking about pokemon that are sometimes spirits haunting something that isn't really alive- an in fact, the dreepy line do fall into the category of beings that were once alive, died, and are now spirits!
keep in mind that euthanasia means "good death" and is our way of providing a painless end to pokemon who no longer have good quality of life. this is relatively rare on a physical level for ghost type pokemon- though it does happen- and tends to be more for ghost types that are so stressed, fearful, and reactive that being put to rest is the kind thing to do.
for pokemon like decidueye and skeledirge, we euthanize like we would most other pokemon by ceasing brain function, usually through injection. but with pokemon like duskull, gastly, or shuppet, which are spirits, euthanasia takes the form of helping to soothe their spirit enough to move on. it's not unusual for veterniarians to call upon the outside help of ghost-type experts to assist in instances of spiritual euthanasia! this is a really tricky process, so thankfully it's not super common to need it. i've personally observed it once with a yamask whose trainer had passed away, and it was honestly a really beautiful experience to watch, but it took a long time and involved a lot of complicated spiritual techniques.

similar to how alola seems to draw in ultra beasts, sinnoh tends to draw in ghosts. one reason is that sinnoh has the weakest barrier between our universe and the distortion world, and with how there’s an open portal at the end of turnback cave, the energy from giratina’s world sort of... bleeds out into the sinnoh region. the incident at spear pillar with the portal being open didn’t help either, unleashing a massive amount of energy from the distortion world that can still be felt by ghosts and aura sensitive people/pokemon to this day.
now back to the portal in turnback cave. unlike the portal left open on spear pillar, this one is on a slightly smaller scale, and is contained in a walled off area, reducing the threat to the fabric of the universe around it. the energy that radiates from this portal drapes over sendoff spring as a whole. ghosts in particular are drawn to this energy, and the energy giratina herself exudes.
the fog in sendoff spring deters any unwanted guest from finding the lake. it’s impossible to fly in since there’s no visible spot to land, and people on foot tend to get lost/turned around in the fog. sometimes, these people even will pass out and wake back up at the entrance to the forest. ghosts and those who can hear the dead/departed are exempt from this. they can hear the voices and whispers from the beyond, and these voices guide them to the spring. ghosts are welcomed with open arms. some do go there to find a place to call home, while others see it more as a pilgrimage; a place to see and experience at least once, without necessarily staying forever.
there’s a wide variety of ghosts that live within the spring. dusknoir, drifloon, misdreavus, lampent, etc... ghosts found naturally within sinnoh, and even ghosts found in other regions have come to visit, or even to call the place their home. some have been there for years, some have been there for days. some have stayed for a while and left, while others have come back after leaving decades ago. they mingle with one another, with giratina, and with her children. some loiter in or around her house, though most ghosts generally prefer to be outside in the fog.
anyone who does manage to make it through the fog somehow that isnt a ghost will be met with harshness from these ghosts, as they feel it’s their duty to protect such a sacred place. unless giratina specifies otherwise, the ghosts will do everything in their power to drive said unwanted person away. with how powerful some of them can be, it isn’t out of the question for them to possibly kill the person, be it on accident or totally on purpose.
it really is like a giant ghost family. they spend time mingling, pranking each other, or playing in the fog. it’s a place for them to call home, avoiding the hatred/disdain directed towards them from the living, despite some of them doing nothing wrong at all. it’s a place they feel safe at, a place they know they’ll always be welcome in.
#『what books don't tell you』⛧ HEADCANON.#worldbuilding#sinnoh: exists#all ghost types: it's free real estate!#also im rly proud of this hc that's all thank u! sendoff spring is a ghost haven you cant change my mind

I just finished hosting a 15-person game of Mafia for some friends. One tradition we have for these games is that every death is accompanied by some themed narration, so for my game I opted to spice it up with some art on top. Had to draw it real quick since I didn't know for sure who was going to die next until it happened.
The game's theme was "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", with the hidden subtheme that all the roles (stands) were named after They Might Be Giants (@tmbgareok) songs! A list of their powers, links to songs, and a recap of the game under the cut.
01) Mogis - 「Flo Wheeler」
02) TD260 - 「Working Undercover For The Man」
03) JGH27 - 「Good To Be Alive」
04) Raya - 「Stone Cold Coup D'Etat」
05) KK / Sahrimnir - 「Thinking Machine」
06) Spontaneous Combustion - 「The Statue Got Me High」
07) Leviwulf - 「Push Back The Hands」
08) DarkFalco - 「I Am Alone」
09) Deli064 - 「Doctor Worm」
10) Fedaykin - 「Letterbox」
11) Surge - 「I Am Alone」
12) Wikxen - 「Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head」
13) Minby - 「Where Your Eyes Don't Go」
14) Bel - 「(She Was A) Hotel Detective」
15) SnakeInABox - 「By The Time You Get This」
Bold roles were Jotunheim (Mafia), normal roles were Johnsburg (Town), and italicized roles were third parties. (Jotunheim is the realm of giants from Norse mythology! The mafia were, in fact, giants! And the town's job was to figure out who might be giants! And the two sides were Jo and Jo! JOKES!)
「Flo Wheeler」 was a town role with a power that was pretty dangerous to the user- if anyone happened to be watching or tracking when a kill took place at night, Mogis would look like they'd visited the target that night in addition to whoever actually did. It could potentially be used to catch a mafioso in a lie, but otherwise it was more of an obstacle for the town to overcome- a miller-type role.
♪ You can't do the time, therefore you didn't do the crime ♪
「Working Undercover For The Man」 was a third-party role working for the Speedwagon Foundation to perform a threat assessment. TD could win with the town, but could win and leave early if he could guess all the names or powers of every other stand in the game. He could scan a name every night, to help that along.
♪ Planning midnight raids / On our unsuspecting fans / While the roadies rig / The video surveillance van ♪
「Good To Be Alive」 was a spin on the usual town doctor role- normally, a doctor can target a player and prevent their death if they would die that night. But... JGH couldn't actually prevent deaths- just fake it. The dead would become ghosts, who couldn't vote and couldn't be killed but were still allowed to talk as if they were alive.
♪ Hello leg / such a shaky leg / Just barely more than decoration ♪
「Stone Cold Coup D'Etat」 was a third party with an unusual win condition. They had to recruit a certain number of people to a private side-chat- and then make sure all those people got killed. Plus, she could redirect anything that happened to her at night to her recruits. If the recruits figured out what she was doing and got rid of her, they'd get a boost to their power.
♪ The bark now commands the trees / The queen is overruled by the bees ♪
「Thinking Machine」 was a town role with a mysterious purpose that didn't seem to make much sense at first. Sah would get, every morning, a strange series of numbers and letters of uncertain origin. It was information, somehow, but how to use it?
♪ Tape has brightening arm connect (Wait, that didn't make sense.) / Self-paint lever itching does! (That made even less sense!) ♪
「The Statue Got Me High」 was a mafia power. As the song describes, the victim is enthralled by the monolith and forced to obey its commands, until their eventual death. That is, Spont could recruit a player to the mafia, but they'd die one night later- and if he wasn't careful, he could die and his recruit would flip back.
♪ And now it is your turn (your turn to hear the stone and then your turn to burn) / The stone, it calls to you (you can't refuse to do the things it tells you to) ♪
「Push Back The Hands」 was a passive ability that caused anything that would happen to Levi- a nightkill, an execution, some other power- to be delayed by one day, giving him some time to react. He'd be told who it was that targeted him, so going after him as mafia was risky.
♪ Screeching tires but never a collision / Endless day without a sunset provision ♪
「I Am Alone」 was a weird one. See, DarkFalco, who was mafia, didn't have a stand as such. She was the stand- and she was the stand of Surge, who was town. They were linked together in everything, meaning the mafia had to work to keep Surge alive on top of their own people. She could send messages to Surge at night to mess with him, though.
♪ Before you fire I should inform you / One of us is a double ♪
「Doctor Worm」 had no real special abilities. His ability was to be pretty good at playing the drums, a power that had absolutely no relevance in a game of Mafia.
♪ I'm not a real doctor, but I am a real worm
I am an actual worm ♪
「Letterbox」 was a mafia ability that let Fedaykin pick another player, and offer that player a chance to deliver a private message to one other player of their choice. He could see the "secret" communications, though, and once per game he could edit the message before delivering it.
♪ I'll never know what you'll find when you open up your letter box tomorrow ♪
「Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head」 is a classically mafia ability, but in the hands of a town player: the ability to force another player to vote for another. Normally the manipulated person isn't allowed to say what happened, but there was no such restriction here- confusion's no good for the town.
♪ Memo to myself: do the dumb things i gotta do: Touch the puppet head ♪
「Where Your Eyes Don't Go」 let Minby pick someone else to watch him at night. If anyone visited him to target him with an ability, the person he designated would be told the names of those people. A nasty trap for the mafia, as long as Minby doesn't pick a mafioso to share the information with.
♪ Where your eyes don't go, a part of you is hovering / It's a nightmare that you'll never be discovering / You're free to come and go / Or talk like Kurtis Blow / But there's a pair of eyes in back of your head ♪
「(She Was A) Hotel Detective」 was a very powerful town role- Bel was the cop, and could scan another player's alignment at night, plus track or watch them. Except... not directly. She couldn't scan players- she could scan hotel rooms, and if other players didn't check into the hotel at night or give up their room numbers, her information was useless.
Here are the room numbers, in order: Levi (1) Snake (2) JGH (3) TD (4) Spont (5) Sah (6) Deli (7) Fed (8) Minby (9) Falco/Surge (10) Raya (11) Wikxen (12) Mogis (13).
(Oh, and Thinking Machine's codes were actually encoded versions of her results, and Sah would get a weaker version of her power if she ever died.)
♪ She's got her ear to the walls / And she's tappin' the calls / If you've got a secret, boy / Forget about it! ♪
「By The Time You Get This」 imbued its wielder with the incredible powers of... an estate lawyer! Which meant Snake could leave a will behind when he died, naming another player and casting a vote on them from beyond the grave the next day.
♪ By the time you get this note / We'll no longer be alive / But our skulls are smiling still / At the thought of things to come ♪
So! Here's how it all shook out.
Day 1: The first day is always kind of a tossup, since no one has any information yet, and everyone's just trying to verbally stir the pot. Levi soft-claims his role right out the gate, warning town not to try targeting him or else. Mogis is executed, casting a vote on himself to save the town the trouble of dealing with Flo Wheeler.
Night 1: Spont uses the statue to recruit Wikxen, at the same time that Wikxen forces Snake to vote for Levi. So, now the usually-scum power in the hands of town is in the hands of scum for real. Bel scans room 3, and learns that its occupant is innocent. Raya recruits DarkFalco, and accidentally recruits Surge alongside her, to her surprise. JGH tries protecting Levi, to test if his claim was a bluff.
Day 2: Levi tries to push JGH on the basis of having targeted him last night, but everyone agrees to wait and see if Levi actually dies first. Votes circle around Wikxen and Raya for suspicious-seeming defensiveness on Day 1, and ultimately, when it seems like Wikxen's about to be executed, a small group of players flip their votes at the last minute and vote Raya out while she's asleep and can't defend herself. Rude! She was poised to win the game for herself and the town, since she'd convinced Falco that the mafia would benefit somehow if they were all recruited.
Night 2: The mafia kills Minby- and Minby opts to tell have Fed watch him, wasting his power. Lucky for town, though, Bel happens to scan room 8, confirming Fed is mafia since he volunteered his room number. Wikxen's coat contains a furnace where there used to be a guy.
Day 3: Wikxen forced Snake to vote for J, making him look bad- but Sah begins sharing his bizarre results from Thinking Machine, and Bel confirms that they're a log of her detective power. Then she points out that Fed is mafia, and the town falls in line behind the accusation with Sah to confirm.
Night 3: Spont uses the statue to recruit Bel, to keep any more problematic scans from ruining them. Bel, before being recruited, scans room 10, though- and now the town knows there's something funky with Falco and Surge, because Sah gets the results and knows what they mean. Due to their mismatched alignments, though, the encoded version is still misleading, so there's wiggle room. TD scans Spont and learns his role name.
Day 4: Spont concocts a daring scheme. He has Bel lie and claim to have received an incriminating result on him- so that Bel will be caught in said lie when Sah produces his own results. The plan is to frame Bel, who's a dead girl walking anyway, and clear Spont's name going forward. But the town talks themselves into explaining away the contradiction- even when TD reveals Spont's stand name, and Spont denies it outright and claims 「Combustible Head」, a fake vigilante (town nightkiller) role instead, the town explains away that, too. After a few more people claim, TD260 has completed his mission- his correct guess wins him the game and he leaves. Spont cleverly excuses himself by claiming that TD lied about his role to get him to claim his "real" one. Afterwards, the town ends up executing Deli064 instead, for some reason- poor Doctor Worm!
Night 4: The evidence vanishes from Bel's charred and smoking chair- because JGH tries to protect her at the same time the mafia are killing him! Bel is a ghost now, and the town never finds out her alignment.
Day 5: Bel not dying poses a problem for the mafia, because Spont was supposed to prove his own innocence by pretending to kill her! The mafia tries to misdirect by having Bel lie again, claiming to scan room 10 when she actually scanned room 6, Sah. Ultimately, though, the town is able to coordinate behind killing Surge and Falco, which- because they're linked- is a compromise option that both parties are happy with (when perhaps they shouldn't be).
Night 5: Since Bel is technically dead, Spont recruits again, grabbing Sah and removing the threat of scans entirely. If he'd recruited Snake instead, they'd have won on the spot, since only his will-vote prevented them from winning instantly due to outnumbering the town. We move on to a somewhat redundant...
Day 6: It's now down to five players- Spont, Sah, and Bel vs Levi and Snake. The mafia technically outnumber the town, but Bel's vote doesn't count, and Sah's going to burn the next night- so the town can still win by forcing a tie and then using Snake's By The Time You Get This power to place a vote on Spont. But that's if they can figure it out and get on the same page, and... they don't. There's no way there could be three mafia still alive, so the mafia are able to sow total confusion and ultimately get the town all voting for Bel... who's a ghost, and can't vote or be executed, which the town doesn't know because JGH died before he could fully explain. The execution defaults to Snake, and the mafia win the game.

If the Ghost Zone is pressed up against the living realm and running alongside it, then the Dreamscape is floating around them both with a thin sliver in-between. It forms parts of the barrier between realms, but you don't usually have to worry about popping into the Dreamscape while trying to get to The Realms.
A lot of DP fics mention the Ghost Zone having a Badlands or some kind of Outskirts where banished ghosts, monsters, demons, and other unsavories reside. Narinder's void is somewhere in this area, as are any of Lambert's dead cultists, but CoTL takes place on a different Earth and Narinder is too laser focused to cause problems elsewhere. Though that's not to say nobody knows about him.
The Backrooms are the Backrooms. Pretty much every place is connected to everywhere through the backrooms. Please don't willingly go to the backrooms.
Undertale and its au's also takes place on an alternate earth. Places like The Void and Anti-Void can be fallen into from other places (like the backrooms) but good luck finding anything at all.
Bendy and the Ink Machine also takes place on an alternate Earth, but the Ink World is a pocket dimension and accessible by backroom/glitch/world hop.
The Irken Armada is in a section of space a little to the left of where the Mcu/Dcu's space shenanigans go on. Alien superheroes would have a panic attack over Zim even knowing Earth exists, much less that he's here on a mission. "Justice League finds out about the Ghost King, 5,000 Words" type panic would ensue.
The Legend of Zelda exists somewhere. That's cool.
Bill Cipher is scared out of his absolute mind of The Lamb. Why? Why not.
Danny frequents Freddy's locations settling spirits and chasing down that absolute purple menace of a man. This is how he meets Dib, who often goes through abandoned Freddy's with Zim to gut their bots.
The WitchLight Carnival also exists and visits Gravity Falls every few years. Danny gets free entry for being undead royalty. (The Fae know about ghosts cause why wouldn't they) (Also Ghost King Danny because, and I cannot stress this enough, why not?)
Hollow Knight and Undertale are close enough together in the jumbled-up pile of space mush that is the multi-verse that Nightmare may or may not know who the Shade Lord is. (It's his auntie)
Don't Starve's Constant also exists in somewhere, the survivors all come from an alternate Earth. (Maybe Nightmare also knows Charlie?)
Minecraft Dimension.
A Hat in Time does NOT take place on an alternate Earth because that shit's not Earth. But it does exist and Snatcher has similar ghost problems to Danny for having Prime Living Realm Real Estate and a hundred+ little guys to worry about.
The Ride The Cyclone kids are somewhere in the ghost zone living their best life. Clockwork personally sent that rat to merk Karnak. Time Lord drama you wouldn't understand
Everyone in Stardew Valley is living their best life and doesn't know that having a local mine filled with slime monsters and undead skeletons isn't normal. It's like Gravity Fall's weirdness barrier except everyone's chill about it.
Harry Potter is on some alternate earth somewhere out there... how fun!
I will add more.
THE CYCLE
Danny Phantom(Colorful Void)-> Undertale Multiverse(Dream Twins) -> Five Nights at Freddy's (Annoying Robots) -> Invader Zim (Paranormal Obsessed Child) -> Gravity Falls (Ghosts) -> Danny Phantom

Saiki K x Pokemon AU
(A compilation post)
These designs are free real estate if anyone wants to play with them!
And of course after posting all of these, I realized which Pokemon would fit well for Hii and Satou:
All of the species explanations under the cut:
There aren't many luck-themed Pokemon, so the pickings were slim for Hii. While Togepi is generally known to be happy and give good luck, there is an evil Togepi in the anime, so it's not inconceivable for there to be Togepi with bad luck in their shell for some reason. Along with the ability "Super (Bad) Luck", a prematurely cracked shell, and some warning symbol markings, poor Togehii is doing her best in a tough world!
Satou was surprisingly tricky to decide, but I finally settled on Bidoof. The most common types of Pokemon, by number of species, are water and normal, and Bidoof evolves into the normal/water type Bibarel. Picking a water type would have made Satou stand out in a land-based Pokemon school, and honestly I would feel bad about making him Rattata. Bidoof is the sort of "Route 1", very boring Pokemon that is a capable HM user but not interesting for anything else. Satou's design is so unremarkable that it doesn't even make sense to try to draw a special Satou Bidoof, so I just slapped some official artwork on there as a joke.
While the Pokemon that comes to mind first for Saiki is definitely Mewtwo, after looking on Bulbapedia at the lore, I thought Type:Null and Silvally fit the bill a little better. In the anime, Gladion's Silvally was fitted with the restricting helmet after wildly attacking an Ultra Beast to protect his sister. Similarly, Saiki was at full strength as a child, lost control when protecting Akechi from the bullies, has his powers reduced with the limiters and glasses, and then accepts his full power in the post canon chapters, specifically for protecting all of his family and friends from the meteor. Also, the plethora of abilities enabled by the RKS memory system is a good analogue for Saiki's many, many powers.
Kaido's chihuahua guardian means that his Pokemon form absolutely has to be some sort of small, yappy dog. Rockruff fits the bill as one of the weakest rock types in the game, and it's described as being easy-going at first, then becoming hard-to-handle as it grows up. Its messy fur and potential to grow up into an edgy-looking wolf makes it spot-on for our favorite chuuni!
Akechi is a tough one, because he's not actually psychic. I thought maybe he ought to be a normal type, but then I remembered how many dark type moves involve yelling at the opponent, thinking lots of thoughts at the opponent, and otherwise being aggressively wordy. Absol has the unfortunate reputation of causing disasters even though it really just has good intuition. Similarly, Akechi was incorrectly believed to have psychic powers.
For Kusuke, I thought another artificially-created Pokemon would be appropriate, and the corrupted and powerful Porygon-Z is a good match. It's supposed to have dimension-hopping abilities, and Kusuke was able to create a time machine in at least one timeline, as well as a warp portal in the manga.
Nendo matches easily with Skuntank in terms of looks, since it has a built-in mohawk and its face is already butt-like and unpleasant to look at. This is certainly a Pokemon anyone would immediately think is up to no good. And Skuntank aren't very intelligent either, since their Pokedex entry states that they're confounded by attacks from above.
For Aiura, I initially thought of Lucario because of its connection with auras. But it's not a psychic type, even though it clearly has a lot of psychic abilities, so it wasn't quite right. Gardevoir is the obvious "girly psychic" choice but Aiura's bright and bubbly vibe doesn't quite match. Meloetta is an obscure choice, but the typing fits, the look matches, and she both dances and doles out furious kicks as needed, just like Aiura.
Toritsuka has ghost powers and is a toxic problematic fave, so clearly the poison/ghost Gengar is the perfect choice.
Mera as a Morpeko is an easy match, considering that she can chew through metal bars, goes feral at a moment's notice, and is always hungry.
Teruhashi is a tough one. Gardevoir jumps to mind again, and Teruhashi does project that sort of serene grace. However, the fact that she literally has what could be described as a cult following points to a mythical Pokemon at the least. And Diancie has the fairy typing that matches Teruhashi's personality, plus it literally sparkles with diamonds. Diancie is also essentially a special version of the mundane Carbink, so it matches Teruhashi being an extraordinarily beautiful and talented but otherwise ordinary girl. And Diancie's mega evolution looks a lot like Teruhashi's Otohime costume in the school play!
Chiyo is definitely one of the normal and or fairy "pink and girly" Pokemon. Clefairy fits extra well because of its weird moon rituals, which calls back to Chiyo's later interest in the occult. Funnily enough, Clefairy's Japanese name is "Pippi" and Aiura's nickname for Chiyo is "Chiyopipi"!
Aren is another tough one to pick. He's definitely some sort of dark and/or fighting Pokemon. I picked Pangoro for him because in order for Pancham to evolve, it has to train with other dark types, and Aren came from a family of delinquents. The twig of bamboo in Pangoro's mouth also helps it sense the presence of enemies, which Aren is an expert at. So I drew a Pangoro with its fur smoothed down in an attempt to look at respectable and non-threatening as possible.
Saiko as an Alolan Meowth is an easy one as well.
A lot of fire types would match well with Hairo. I thought of Darmanitan and how it would be funny if Hairo switched to "Zen Mode" at exactly 8 pm. But I liked that Blaziken looks commanding and doesn't have any sleeves, so it visually matches Hairo a little better.

The following ramble has nothing to do with Rena or Sol or the subway twins, but twin OCs I made a little while ago if they were in the pokemon world.
So for context, Melinoë and Osiris Spectre (aka Mel and Oz) are a pair of immortal necromancer twins that are also real estate agents specializing in haunted properties (mostly in order to help ghosts either move on or to rehouse them, the idea just kinda sprung up from "what if someone WANTED to live in a haunted house?").
So while I was washing the dishes today I was suddenly struck by the idea of "Spectre Twins pokemon AU"
I'm thinking they maybe live in Kalos & instead of being real estate agents they live in an old castle & like. Most of it is a museum but one wing is closed off most of the year & they open it as a haunted house type attraction in the fall.
Many ghost, dark, and psychic type pokemon freely wander the grounds, including pokemon from all over the world.
Also when the haunted wing is open, they offer a battle challenge. While going through the haunted wing you have to battle various pokemon, & at the end you battle the twins. You earn points for each battle that allow you to redeem prizes from the museum gift shop or something lol but also the first time you beat the twins you get a brooch to commemorate it.
Mel's team consists of Musharna, Aegislash, and maybe Chandelure.
The Greek nymph Melinoë is associated with nightmares (amongst other things) hence Musharna the dream eater
I kinda associate the honedge line with ancient rome, and Melinoë is from Greek mythology
Chandelure is kinda just so there's an elemental typing in there. I originally wanted Polteageist to be one of Mel's pokemon because she collects tea sets, but I don't think she would battle with one.
Oz's team consists of Cofagrigus, Sigilyph, and maybe Gourgeist.
Osiris is the ancient Egyptian lord of the dead & rebirth, hence Cofagrigus (a sarcophagus)
Idk, Osiris is the king of the land of the dead, Sigilyph watches over ancient cities, this is more a loose association thing
Gourgeist is partly there only for the sake of having an elemental type, but Osiris does have a love for music & Gourgeist are a pokemon known for singing
(If anyone has suggestions for pokemon that might better reference the mythical figures I based the twins on, feel free to drop a reply or something)
Trying to think of names, I like the phrase "star crossed" as being a pretty way to describe something cursed, so maybe "Star-Crossed Chateau"? Especially since Kalos is kind of star shaped. Or, the French word for "cursed" is "maudit(e)", so maybe "Maudit Castle" or "Castle Maudit"?
I imagine it might be somewhere between Santalune City and Camphrier Town.
#spectre twins#mel spectre#oz spectre#might as well give them their own tags in case i do go somewhere with this#now I want to draw them in the pokemon art style...#ramble
