But Rin with her new identity decides to walk forward (with love comes pain#but to love at all was the greatest thing to her.) She cherishes her new memories and won't let it stop her from moving on#inbetween this time frame she meets isobu in her mind after he gains enough form within her (who is also without memories)#Now WAY LATER she meets Sukea who looks like he's about to panic and she tries to help (which uh doesnt work too well)#but then Sukea joins her on her travels (sending minato an letter through his summons of rin being alive and forgetting the mission)#they both wander around (he doesnt know how to bring up their past) but then obito appears (always at the wrong times)#At first glance he's pissed but then realizes that this isnt fake AND its both the worse thing yet best thing to ever happen#Now Rin thinks she made two new friends who give her feelings of warmth but they both also reminded her of something old she thinks#PS Minato and Kushina are freaking out back in the village but can't do anything about it (Obito hasn't acted on his plans yet so yes)

Old sketches of Love will find you (this is a threat)
Never thought I’d ever see Itarin in a fic. But yk what? Hell yeah. Girl’s got a type
Kinda admire the dedication of the author for making Rin and Sasuke meet, bc they’re pretty much aligning every star out there to make that happen lol. With Rin being married to Itachi and pregnant with their first child (making Sasuke an uncle (?!) That’s gonna be funny when he finds that out) and being Orochimaru’s student as well (AND being buddies with team Taka), it’s pretty much confirmed that they’re going to talk AT THE VERY LEAST once.

Also, Nohara Rin coulda gotten Haruno Sakura started on learning medical ninjutsu immediately after the Wave mission and (if she's still Isobu's jinchūriki) helped Uzumaki Naruto start befriending Kurama. I dunno how canon Rin coulda helped Uchiha Sasuke, but my version of her has a similar backstory thus she coulda been his confidant whilst Hatake Kakashi handles teaching him kenjutsu. It'd be adorable to see Kakashi-x-Rin partially parenting the jōnin-sensei's 3 subordinates (although, Sakura has her bio parents and Naruto kinda has Iruka; of the three, Sasuke would need the support most since he doesn't have anyone if the Uchiha massacre still happens even when Rin survives being kidnapped by Kiri-nin). I'd be excited to see what plot-affecting choices Rin makes and how her relationship with Kakashi & friendships with other Konoha-nin develop. Plus there's Konoha civilians and non-Konoha people she could interact with! Maybe Rin would develop a bitter platonic rivalry with Terumī Mei? There's so much potential to develop her character! What little was shown of Rin in canon is a good start and simply needs some polishing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their body language tells everything. Imagine if they were growing up together. Kakashi complaining about his daily life as jounin teacher, when his team gave him a headache, he will grumble a lot, and Rin would listen wholeheartedly: "Yes, I'm listening to you, Darling."

And the Nohara...
The purple Markings :) yep
An Uzushigakure Clan, close with reptiles (snakes and lizards) and the main medical/poison specialist of the Village.
They have two main branches.
The Shikon (fang) Branch have eyes markings. They work with snakes, poisons and medicine. Everything that does something to the body without "touching" it. They have particular like characteristics, like a long tongue and elongating body membres (arms/neck).
The Sukēru (scale) Branch have cheek markings. They work with Lizards, nerve strike Taijustu and Tealing Justus. They can lose and regrow membres and organs. Yes, the heart too. (As long as they can use their chakra and still a completely healthy and functioning brain)
Both Branch have reptile like yellow eyes, sharp long fangs, little scales on their body and a naturally "poisonous" chakra.
Orochimaru is mostly of the Shikon Branch. Rin is mostly of the Sukēru Branch.
It is quite common for the two Branch to marry into eachother.
Rin : *gasp as she quite literally come back to life* Holy fucking shit- worst way to destroy a seal, would NOT recommend-
Kakashi : RIN !? D';
Obito : RIN !? D';
Rin : Madara's a lil bitch.

Obito and Rin's relationship
I just read a text from a user talking about ObiRin and honestly, I was impressed that there were 6 shares and almost 80 likes on the comment. I wonder: do people even remember what Obito and Rin's relationship was like? Because from people's feedback, I can see that they clearly don't. The comment said that Obito and Rin were not best friends and that Obito's feelings for her were "platonic", and that her behavior towards him was "no big deal". So, I ask you: what does that mean to you? Romantic or platonic love?
So I'm left wondering: Are people really looking at this relationship and not coming to the obvious conclusion that Rin Nohara loved Obito Uchiha romantically and that her feelings for Kakashi were purely platonic due to his prodigy abilities in the same way that Karin and Ino had for Sasuke? This is surreal to me.
Tumblr media
Have you ever stopped to think about the parallels between ObiRin and NaruHina or do you prefer to confirm more information on Wikipedia, where anyone can edit and write whatever they want?
Tumblr media
I don't think that their friendship was platonic, precisely because of the romantic reaction that Obito and Rin had and that was concretized in their reunion scene… making a direct connection with the kiss attempt made by Rin when she was still alive.
Tumblr media
Platonic love is a type of love that involves feeling affection, admiration or even passion for someone, but without wanting to have a romantic or physical relationship with that person. In this sense, I can say that this was the case with Kakashi and Rin, since they literally had nothing special.
Tumblr media
She felt admiration for Kakashi because of his abilities and fame as a genius, but she never tried to kiss Kakashi once and even when Kakashi died, she wasn't there for him, but for Obito she was.
Tumblr media
Pink (meaning): pink means romance (as a primary meaning)
After her rejection, we never saw Rin try anything romantic with Kakashi or even form a solid relationship with him. In fact, their relationship went backwards instead of forwards to something more “meaningful”. They literally became just “teammates” and didn't have the same level of intimacy as she had with Obito.
Obito and Rin's relationship:
Tumblr media
Kakashi and Rin's relationship:
Tumblr media
So when someone tells me that their feelings (Obito and Rin) weren't romantic, even if they didn't show it verbally, you could clearly see that they liked each other beyond friendship, and not something platonic.
Tumblr media
Notice the clear change in Rin Nohara's personality/decision and feelings in these 2 scenes:
Tumblr media
I'm not a “romance genius”, but there are things that are too obvious not to be interpreted as romance. Besides, Kakashi has shown us countless times that what he felt for Rin was pure companionship in various situations. Even after her death, Kakashi saw her as a hallucination and saw her in other girls, but even though he had the opportunity to “date” girls similar to Rin, he never tried anything and never addressed any girl similar to Rin romantically, but rather, totally in a sense of companionship.
Tumblr media
Even though they resembled Rin, Kakashi never even tried anything with any of them and thought of her only as a friend, literally. He himself only used the word “friend” to refer to Rin. As, for example, in episode 354, where Kakashi says: “I couldn't protect my friend.”
Tumblr media
Or even when Sasuke said to Kakashi: “What if I had killed the person you love the most?!”
Tumblr media
And Kakashi's response? “Those people have already… been killed.”
Tumblr media
Kakashi has literally never, at any time in his life, seen Rin in a romantic light. Not before and not after… but Rin? I'm sorry, but it was very clear that she saw Obito romantically, she just didn't admit it to herself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So when someone says that Rin and Obito weren't best friends and that she didn't see Obito as a potential boyfriend or even like him romantically, I'm like:
Tumblr media
Obito and Rin were not only best friends since forever, but they also loved each other. It's so obvious that they would have ended up together romantically, that it really amazes me how there are people who actually have doubts about them in that sense. Obito & Rin is literally synonymous with romance and genuine love for each other. There are people who compare Obito and Rin with Kakashi and Guy, saying that their friendship was "similar", but for the love of the gods!!! Honestly, that has nothing to do with it. The friendship between both pairs was VERY different. In Kakashi and Guy you see friendship and rivalry, but in Obito and Rin you see love and romance.
Tumblr media
So I'm sorry, but anyone who compares Kakashi and Guy's relationship with Obito and Rin's is simply clueless. By the way, did Guy ever try to kiss Kakashi? Not that I can recall. Neither Kakashi nor Guy are gay. Besides, it was very clear that Rin's feelings for Kakashi literally disappeared when Kakashi confessed that he abandoned her at the end of the Gaiden saga (she only liked him for his abilities, and only had love and intimacy with Obito).
Tumblr media
And then:
Tumblr media
She could try to disguise it, but I've never seen Rin support Kakashi the way she supported Obito.
Tumblr media
“Rin never loved Obito romantically. She only had eyes for Kakashi! Obito never had a chance with her. He was a failure and Kakashi was a prodigy!” Let's see what Rin thinks about that.
Rin, after waiting 20 years to be reunited with only (Obito Uchiha), left Kakashi, her “love” behind forever.
Tumblr media
It doesn't take much to realize the obvious difference.

I’ve been thinking of her a lot lately and it just feels like a lost opportunity sadly 🥲
Tumblr media
every day i think about how nohara rin could have had so much more depth in her character
even if we were to keep the whole her being a medic-nin thing stemming from most of the girls having support roles in naruto, there STILL could have been exploration of her life. even if we didn’t rewrite her to not be existing solely to die and fuel male trauma, she had so much potential for depth that wasn’t taken because of misogynistic writing!
if we’re sticking by the idea that she had a ““normal”” life (growing up with parents with no major traumatizing events or deaths of loved ones or friends before obito) there STILL could have been major depth. this also extends to sakura as well but mainly rin considering the environment rin grew up in.
rin’s generation grew up during a war period, where the child soldier system was bolstered even further. kannabi bridge was a mission being led by a 12 year old linked to the war. this was a normal.
the average age that kids graduated from the academy was 12 years old during naruto’s generation - in comparison, children were being allowed to graduate as young as 6 (kakashi) and 9 years old (rin and obito). konoha needed more fighters, so the training process was sped up so they could go into the field faster.
even if rin grew up “normally,” the normal of konohagakure and the shinobi system was terrible already. she wasn’t “not traumatized,” because in this system there’s a baseline amount of trauma expected already - it’s just that kakashi and obito had a lot of extra trauma on top of that.
rin’s character could have been an exploration of the system’s effect on kids, and that even without major events or being an orphan, everyone is still impacted in a negative way
(continued under read more)

Thinking about two (three?) different "Rin Lives" AUs for "Naruto" in very different styles.
The first (Option 1A) is, of course, the classic where Rin survives having the Sanbi sealed inside her instead of having Kakashi kill her (while Obito watches). I can't exactly call Zetsu's sinister plan here unreasonable, but it does still rely heavily on a bunch of relatively unpredictable elements.
With Obito as a hostage, Zetsu has relatively intimate information on Rin, Kakashi, and Minato, but by that point, it's like a year out of date. What if Rin, Kakashi, and Minato have all been significantly changed by Obito's apparent death and have adjusted their techniques and procedures? The plan relies on 1) neither of Namikaze Minato's students (who also know Uzumaki Kushina and Jiraiya of the Sannin) having sufficient sealing knowledge to hold out long enough for help to arrive, 2) the YELLOW FLASH to be fully distracted and occupied while this is happening, and 3) Rin dying in such a way that it looks like Kakashi's fault. (Also, 4) no other Kiri nin catching on and having issues with all of this.)
Again, it's not exactly unreasonable that all of these elements came together in a tragedy, but also still too reliant for my liking on all of these different moving pieces who could potentially pull out skills and escape plans that Zetsu hasn't foreseen. I'll need to reread that part to figure out why clones / genjutsu weren't just used to fool Obito, who wasn't exactly in a good state to resist that kind of manipulation. (Itachi used Tsukuyomi on Kakashi at least once. Obito is under severe physical, mental, and emotional strain and only awakened his Sharingan directly before his kidnapping. He's so vulnerable.)
Option 1B for this AU, a twist on the classic, is that nothing about this mission was real. The Sanbi was never put inside Rin. Zetsu or Madara fooled a vulnerable Obito with a trick / gaslighting, and Zetsu has been desperately struggling to kill Nohara Rin for years to get her out of the way before a grieving / vengeful Obito notices that Rin isn't actually dead. This AU probably takes place before Minato's death. Kakashi and Minato have caught on to some attempted murder mystery going on here and they are SO overprotective.
OPTION 2 for a "Rin Lives" AU is actually a "Rin gets resurrected" AU. Obito catches on earlier that Madara and Zetsu are full of shit, but Obito still isn't exactly sane after everything, so while Obito has Rinnegan superpowers in the middle of the final fight, he throws Madara and Zetsu's plan out the window and somehow uses a stolen / modified version of Orochimaru's Edo Tensai technique to bring Nohara Rin fully back from the dead. Obito says a big "FUCK YOU" to all of those long conspiracies and wastes all of that ultimate power on fully resurrecting some random nobody girl he loved as a young teenager.
So, it's like: "Your name is Nohara Rin and you are no longer dead. You were turned into a bomb and killed yourself when you were 14 to save your village, and now you've been resurrected as though you never died; you're not exactly 14 anymore after the dreamy time you spent watching the world of the living, but you are definitely not actually 31. It's weird.
"The teammate you once thought was dead was actually kidnapped by two different madmen and has spent the past 15 years with them molding his body and whispering in his ears, only to betray them anyway. His hands are covered in so much blood and he's started a war and it was all apparently a trick to bring you back. So everyone is looking at you, shocked, and confused, because you're not special. All of that? For you? For some random dead girl? They were ready for the world to end. Obito is looking at you, satisfied, expectant, like you're supposed to have any answers or any kind of comfort for him.
"Minato-Sensei is here too, undead in a different way, not alive again like you are (at least, like you think you are), and so is Kakashi, all grown up the hard way. They are looking at you like a miracle and also like you're breaking their hearts all over again. And oh, no, Uchiha Madara and Zetsu are very, VERY mad right now, there's no time for any of this, is there? You died in one war and it's right back into another."

What do you think of Rin Nohara? Generally people have overblown opinions about her. Dudebros and some other hate her because she didn’t return Obito’s love and confessed to Kakashi, Kakashi stans hate her because she “traumatized” their poor little meow meow. Her stans have overblown sense of importance and think Rin is the most important character ever.
Rin's thematic relevance has to do with her connection to Obito's development, in that regard, she's even more important than Kakashi, who has yet to have any weight upon his teammate's decisions.
I've said this before, Rin as a character is mostly used by Kishimoto as a reflection of Obito's dogma and attitude throughout the series; when she's alive and well, he thrives as a hopeful child, when she dies, his innocence is lost, and he becomes Tobi; distrustful of people's intentions and seeking a new world that he could control, for reality was hell.
Beyond that, she's not important for the plot or other characters (I admit she contributed to Kakashi's trauma, but she doesn't drive his actions as she does with Obito; Kakashi mostly relies on Obito's remembrance to perform his duties in the way he does), so I don't see why she receives as much hate as you say she does.
I've seen people comparing her to Sakura, which I think isn't fair as Rin was never mentioned to be superb when it comes to medical ninjutsu (albeit she did extract Obito's eye in the middle of the battlefield and transplanted it into Kakashi), but that's mostly the Sakura fandom trying to give Sakura the same relevance Rin has for Obito to either Naruto or Sasuke (depending on which character they're comparing).
Rin has every right to like Kakashi and confess to him, Obito never made his intentions clear; even if he had done so, she had the right to reject him, as her heart rested somewhere else; Kakashi quite clearly turned her away and she respected it, not bringing up the subject ever again.
Besides, why blame her for "traumatizing Kakashi further" when running towards his Chidori and not hate Sakumo for killing himself for his son to find his body? Better yet, why not blame Minato who was responsible for their cell, yet every time he left them to their own devices? Why not blame Konoha's government who put thirteen-year-olds on the front lines of the battle? Come on, why blame the nationalistic-brainwashed girl for performing the duty she was taught to do? Even Obito understood Kakashi was a mere pawn when it came to her death and placed blame upon the system where such blame belongs.

Nohara Rin characterization guide part 2
I care about Nohara Rin! A lot! More than I should, probably! Today I'm here to explain my personal rinterpretation in the hopes that it inspires you to create a three-dimensional version of Rin.
This is the second post of a two-part series; in it, I will be going over how I view Rin's character. In the first one, I explained what we canonically know about her, and areas that were available to expand upon in order to flesh her out.
Oh boy.
Let's get a few things out of the way real quick: although my Rin is based on what little information we have on her in canon, there's not exactly a lot of information to go off of. I have done a lot of extrapolation and invention. That being said, I do think that this is one of the best possible ways to fill her out into a person. I'm completely biased, I know, but this specific version of Rin answers every question I raised in part one of this analysis and also just fucks severely. imo.
To begin with: what fundamental principles did I base my Rin on?
First: Team Minato has a... Thing (tm) about masks. Kakashi's got his classic one, of course, and we can't forget the ANBU one. Obito... well, his Akatsuki identity shenanigans are legendary in their owns rights. If both of them get to play with masks, so should Rin. How is she wearing masks?
...we'll get to that.
Second: There is something wrong with Rin. I think that this is fairly obvious, even within the text. Despite being describe as kind and caring, she makes oddly malicious decisions at weird times. Her eyes always look dead. She jumps to suicide surprisingly quickly. What, exactly, is wrong with her? We can use the other things to find out.
Third: This one is perhaps the biggest reach, but I've always had a craving for dramatic irony in my stories. It's also the principle that sparked my obsession with Rin. One day I sat down and though, "Wouldn't it be kind of funny if Rin was okay with the idea of the Infinite Tsukyomi, but hated the idea of Obito doing it for her?"
We can combine these principles with traits I hand-picked lovingly from canon: she collects shells (source: data book 2), she likes the stars (source: her staring at the sky after Obito dies), and she is polite but cold (source: every appearance ever + data books + even her name)
This creates a Nohara Rin who is full of emptiness, and wears a mask to cover it. She wants to be known, but she doesn't want anyone to know her. She's full of contradictions. She wears a mask of a girl who is polite and kind, but because it's only a mask, it doesn't allow for true closeness.
She chooses to die on Kakashi's hand because this allows her to be known (ideally)(this does not work) without having to live with being known. She believes that if she does something that is cruel and then dies, people will understand her for who she is, and she will not have to be alive for the understanding.
She likes the idea of the Infinite Tsuyomi because she doesn't see anything wrong with an illusion, but she'd object to Obito doing it in her name because he isn't remembering her correctly.
She's scared of being known because she doesn't feel like she has a "self" to know. She's apathetic, compared to her peers. Some of it's innate, and some of it is a coping mechanism (she is a child soldier too!!!!), and she alternates between being proud of how little she cares and being ashamed. She doesn't want anyone to know that she's so apathetic, so she wears masks.
She likes that Obito likes her, so she does things that encourage his crush on her, but she's also kind of angry at how easily he and the rest of Team 7 fall for her facades. She chose Kakashi to crush on because she thinks that all normal girls (who she is trying very hard to be) have a crush, and Kakashi seemed unobtainable enough to be safe. She was upset when they ended up on the same team.
She collects shells. Aren't they just like her? Hollow? Rin isn't hollow- she's full of nothing. She loves the ocean and space, but they don't mean anything to her. She doesn't care for her comrades. She doesn't bluster on about rules like not crying, but she follows them more strictly than even Kakashi does.
Nohara Rin was born dead, and she's been mad about it her entire life. She insists that she doesn't care about anything, but she cares about an awful lot. She's just as terrible of a person as any shinobi. She's a kid in a fucked up world. She's everything to meeeeee and that's not even touching on the matter of moth symbolism, eye framing within manga panels, and all the theoretical timelines-
You know what? I'm just going to link some meta about this rinterpretation below for further reading.
eye framing within manga panels
team minato hypocrisy
canonical basis
kagurin dynamic
obito views on rin
present/past existence
kakarin dynamic
evil acts towards kakashi
taxonomy
apathy
agency/aromantism
faq??? kind of??
moth/chidori/genjutsu
konan/kaguya/rin fucked up evil polycule
my rinfic if you just really need some more rin
Well, that's probably enough for now. If you have any questions, send me an ask! I will have the answer. I have been stuck in this hole for too long, and I don't think I will ever be getting out.

More dimension travel au!!
It could also evolve to sasusakunaru??? I still need to read the manga (the anime is still something I might think on watching or not...)
Anyway, not everything is still set in Stones for the au or some events.
When the OG timeline!Team 7 arrives to the new dimension, Kakashi is on the borderline of life and death due to chackra exhaustion and they don't have any ally close to them to treat their wounds or trully rest.
Sakura and Sasuke, still with a kind of rocky relationship after all, manage to find their village in pristine conditions and both of them are found by other Shinobi thinking that something bad happened in their mission! Why are they so hurt and with different clothes???
Meanwhile, both of them are wondering if they are under a genjutsu? Because, why the hell is the village completely reconstructed without the 5th hokage?? In their shock they are redirected to the general hospital and realize that things are... different?
Sasuke is on edge all the time, because why is nobody trying to kill him for becoming a missing nin? Yet they are treating him with kindness? Sakura is more calm, yet anxious, they don't really have time to just stay around when their other two teammates are hurt and one about to kick the bucket... again?
When they are in the hospital being treated for their broken bones and other wounds, two familiar women come rushing to the office, to say that Sasuke was close to bursting into tears when he saw his mother, with a few more wrinkles yet still so beautiful like he remembered, was an understatement.
The same could be said to Sakura, it has been a while since she saw her parents, but seeing how her ex? Teammate react... they needed to go away. Now.
They waited until they were left alone, just for a moment, before Sakura, dragging Sasuke behind her and taking some medical supplies as well thinking that they were definitely under a genjutsu or something and their sensei and teammate being in danger.
In the meantime, notice goes around that Sakura and Sasuke came back to Konoha with injuries, yet their teacher was not with them. When Nohara Rin, head doctor of the main hospital, hears that, she rushes to see them and ask where Obito and Sai were, if they needed help or worse... yet they are not there. They try to look for them and it's just only the beginning of a manhunt. (Also, most likely the Alt!Sakura has longer hair and OG! Still has her short hair)
Before that, Team 7 finally arrive at their village, Obito, Sasuke, Sakura and Sai, (or the OSSS for the funsies), are ready to just, hand the report of their successful mission and rest in their beds. They didn't expect that the village came rushing right at them and began interrogating why and how the heck does Sakura and Sasuke heal from their injuries so quick?!
It trully becomes a manhunt and investigation of the "fake Sakura and fake Sasuke" and for them to be possible spies? Minato wouldn't allow it at all, he wouldn't allow that his dear wife and students village go through another war.
In the meantime, while Sakura and Sasuke are unaware thay they are being chased by most of the shinobi for almsot 2 days, Naruto waits for his teammates while taking care of his sensei, with the little medical knowledge that Sakura beat into his brain in a few minutes, plus some basic care to keep Kakashi alive.
He wished to go to Konoha with either of his teammates, but his wounds were a little more severe and was more weakened by attacking Kaguya. He takes the opportunity to speak with Kurama, or attempt to, since the lazy fox was now resting.
While waiting for Sakura and Sasuke, Naruto is attacked by a group of missing nin that were hired to spy Konoha, it's not that they were remarkably strong... yet he was so weakened and still kind of injured that... when he tries to confront them, he almost has his sensei killed by mere stupidity.
Anyway, while Naruto decides to hide himself and Kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke are running towards them, now actively knowing that they are being chased by their own village.
I'm getting excited as well for the dynamics of the alternative dimension and Obito with his team!!
I'm putting my foot in my own mouth and mostlikely need to speedrun in reading naruto lmao also, this Au, for a possible fic, may be called: Tell me About Grief!

Hey, glad to see you're back! I hope you are doing alright! This blog reavivated my investment in Obirin to completely new heights! The least I can do is help to reanimate it, I have many asks in storage, but I would rather share them one at a time.
so, starting with the highest one on my list, what would Rin, Madara and the uchiha clan in general think of Obito having long hair like he did during his time as Mizukage?
Hello! Thank you very much!
I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying this blog, I think that it's important we give ObiRin the attention and love that this ship deserves :) Feel free to share any of your own thoughts and headcanons any day, and I'm more than happy to share mine!
To answer your question:
Starting with the Uchiha Clan: I would say they would be VERY shocked because he is literally the spitting image of Madara. Rumors would start to spread about Obito saying that he is Madara's direct reincarnation (if Madara is long dead). Obito's longer hair would give him a mysterious and reserved persona which does attract a certain sense of admiration because he emits a very similar charisma like their ancestor. If Madara is alive and is the one that raised Obito, let's say, then the clan members would fully respect him and flock towards Obito because of how connected he is to Madara to the point where they look just like each other. XD
I mean, they really do look similar.
Madara:
I think Madara would feel surprised and caught off guard, because it's literally like looking into a mirror XD He would lowkey be impressed with Obito, and then he'd say. "Well if you're going to look like me, you're going to have to dress and act like me as well." Madara would then change Obito's wardrobes into traditional Uchiha mantles and kimonos because there is no fucking way Obito would walk around in standard shinobi clothing with that hair. He'd go extra hard on Obito during their training sessions because if Obito is going to look like him, he better not embarrass him by being average.
Madara: "Come on, get the hell up! That is nothing but a scratch. Back in my days I used to fight with more injuries than that. I had to wrap my wounds by tearing my own clothing. You're not going to walk around looking like me and looking like a sad, kicked puppy at the same time. Now suck it up, pick up your sword and charge forward!"
Obito: "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT I'M NOT TRYING TO BE YOU, OLD MAN?!"
Obito was unable to register Madara's speed in that moment and ended up slamming into a tree.
Rin Nohara:
Rin definitely wouldn't be so used to this new hairstyle. It was long, spikey, and it definitely gave Obito a different type of vibe. That hair of his did not match the energetic personality that she always knew, so she was very much surprised at how calm, cool, and mellow Obito seemed. His outfit was different too (the kimono mentioned above), he looked more like a traveling warrior than a shinobi.
For some strange reason, she would feel more attracted to him; to the point where certain moments with a high amount of sexual tension would occur, such as her offering to brush his hair for him and to tie his hair up in a high ponytail. She would run her fingers through his long spikey locks, her body leaning close to his, her soft fingers brushing against the skin of his neck... and she would feel like she was taking care of someone who is a part of the royal family (which is fitting because Obito is a member of an elite clan, lol). After she ties his hair up, she would hand him the mirror and he would be satisfied, and then as Obito looks at her over his shoulder, they would lock eyes and the sexual tension just keeps getting thicker from there, lol.

shisaku prompt * fantasy au
after losing his eyes and his position as one of the best knights of the Uchiha kingdom, shisui uchiha dedicated his life to traveling around in search of his long lost friend, obito uchiha. shisui suspects obito is alive because of the mysterious letters he has been receiving since the uchiha vs konoha war started.
if what the letters promise is true, then there's still time to stop the war, before both sides end up in tragedy. even blind and humiliated, shisui has one last chance to make things right.
sakura is a konoha knight on a double mission. officially, she is to use her healer skills to infiltrate on a neutral kingdom and check they are planning an attack on konoha, now that the war against the uchihas has debilitated them. unofficially, sakura is betraying her kingdom by following the orders of tsunade senju, the woman who taught her all she knows and that's been on the run, refusing to have anything to do with konoha. the long lost princess has sent a letter to sakura urging her to find rin nohara, who is supposedly still alive and hiding on the territory sakura is meant to infiltrate.
what secrets could rin nohara have to promise a change of heart of both the uchiha kingdom and konoha? will she be able to shoulder the blame when things go wrong? can she pick a side when her friends are all around the battlefield?
shisui and sakura should be enemies —and if the others realize their secret missions, they are done for. they'd have to walk their intertwined paths carefully... and not give into the strange tension building between them in their companionship.
