It was on the morning of the twenty first of Ramadan that Ali left this world to go to the presence of the Creator who he loved and served all his life. He was intoxicated with the love of God and sat watchful at the gate of his heart and let no one in but Him. By the lord of the Ka'bah, Ali had succeeded.
