Guys I love Alice Oseman’s books so much. Like I’ve been a fan of Heartstopper for years now but I read Solitaire a week or so ago and I’m reading Radio Silence right now and they just hit in a way not many books do. It’s like they’re going to become my personality, not in the autism ‘I’m not going to shut up about this’ kind of way, but in more of the ‘this has affected me so deeply I will forever hold a piece of this somewhere in my soul’ kind of way. I find it kind of funny that I’m posting this on tumblr, something multiple characters use, but it’s also ironic in a way.

I forgot to update my blog about Radio Silence. Yes I finished it. I finished it a while ago actually. Yes I hyperfixated on it. Yes I loved it. Yes I will probably reread it several times (when I have time and am not busy with course work).

what people think alice oseman books are like: blushing awkward first meetings, little chaste first kisses, giggling teenage boys holding hands what alice oseman books are actually like: hey what if your entire personality is actually a carefully constructed facade to make other people like you and to disguise the fact that you don't actually know who you are. if you stripped away all the walls, all the artificial things that you think make you up, what would be left? what would happen if you stopped living for other people and started living for yourself? is there even a person in there or just a gaping void with nothing left in it? wouldn't that be fucked up? do you even know yourself? do you even have a real personality anymore?

I am a little more than halfway through Radio Silence by Alice Oseman, and I am really really really really really loving it so far. Like I always knew that Aled had more to him than what we saw in heart stopper, but oh my God he’s just—I love him so much. Also, Francis Janvier. What a queen I adore Frances I love this story so much thus far. I plan to be finished with it by tomorrow. that’s all. end tweet.
