What We Know About Campaign 1's Ties to Campaign 3

Very early on in episode 1, it became clear that Matt had fully relaxed the rule against direct, immediately-visible Campaign 1 tie-ins, with three of the main PCs being either honorary members of Vox Machina or having direct connections to main characters of that story. A fourth has a small connection with a recurring minor character. With the recent revelations thanks to Ashton’s icebreaker drinking game, we decided it would be worth doing a quick summary of what went down in Campaign 1 as it relates to these four characters, as a reminder for those who have already watched it and a quick introduction for those who haven’t.

Note: Everything from this point forward contains massive spoilers for not only Campaign 1, but also for the three post-epilogue one-shots and the upcoming Legends of Vox Machina animated show. If you wish to remain unspoiled for those shows and/or remain in the dark about certain character connections for Campaign 3, stop reading now! The fourth and last section also contains spoilers for Campaign 2, so if you wish to avoid that, do not read past the third section. There will be a second warning before you hit it.
