So I'm part of a FFXIV static running old content blind.

We were doing pretty well at getting through the Heavensward savage raids... until we got to Brute Justice.

Brute Justice took us 11 months to clear.

Of course, I felt i had to commemorate such an achievement when we did manage to clear it, and one of the static members had just moved house, so the course was obvious.

(Her reaction to being given this piece involved a lot of swearing, which was exactly the reaction I was hoping for)

Designing and stitching this piece didn't take quite as long as the fight itself, but as usual, I forgot to post it until now.

Well damn, Ilberd. You cost us a Papalymo. Before we finish the end dungeons, we have crafter quests to do, then some tribal quests. Then finish up Alexander, and on to the final Alliance Raid and Trial. Afterwards, it's story time!

Finally did the Bahaumut raids last night! Since I'm already LvL 90 in Endwalker I just went through it all solo - which honestly made the experience about 10 times better.

At last, I know the complete story of Carteneau (even though my naive self back when I was in ARR was totally willing to accept the unfinished story at face value since I didn't know the raids were a thing lmaooo). But WOW what a great addition to the ARR tale, I can't believe I went this long without ever knowing it.

Being able to bring the twins closure AND seeing them get the affection they rightfully deserved from their grandfather was such a nice moment. Not to mention watching Bahaumut get rebuilt bit by bit was cool as hell and effectively terrifying.

We love boss fights that play the opening song in parts during their different phases, I wasn't crying at all not one bit.

Looking back, I think Nemi would be awed at the complexity of the Primal Alexander and she admired Mide's cutting inmersion through the challenges while being attentive of Roundrox and respecting her the most out of everyone. Oh my god, she's what I hoped Y'sthola would have been for Nemi as a first crush... If she wasn't Ysayle hurting maybe she would have gotten a crush on her.

... And also didn't seem to go suspicious and steal Rondrox' stone for a while. She almost lost all respect

Honestly? Mide is a cool character of very focused interests and staunch determination to do what it takes to advance her goals. It's a sad thing she's underspoken even though these raids are also part of, certain important thing. When will she get her shoutout in Endwalker? Even Omega did
