I just made myself sad, realizing the only reason Augustus liked Alex better than Sebastian was because Alex was more submissive than his twin. He was a people pleaser & would do anything Augustus asked of him to gain his father’s approval & love with less convincing than Sebastian would. & made myself sad bc fuck, poor kid, his 6 yrs of life he probably spent in fear of disappointing or upsetting his domineering father & therefor he became a saint in his parents memory while Sebastian was viewed as a problem child, because he was more resistant to his father’s intimidation & very likely was the subject of abuse even before Alex died, because you know damn well, that kid took most If not all of the blame for any misbehaving Alex may have done, wether realizing it or not. Because Sebastian would do absolutely anything for his little brother, specially protect him from the terror their father inflicted on them, seeing how anxious and nervous Alex would get. 😭

On the subject of last names...

It drives me crazy that the SDV characters don't have last names like yeah saying "sam stardew valley" is funny and all, but here's my objectively correct headcanon on the marriage candidates middle and last names. It's insane especially seeing as last names are like... a thing in this universe, George and Evelyn and arguably Alex have them, but nobody else does!!!! A lot of these were based on people I know who remind me of the candidates (like, i gave Haley the same last name as the popular girl in my highschool) Let me know what you think and I can make a list of the other characters too !!!!

i should be asleep and instead i am thinking about the sdv villagers and making up full government names for them. there's so much story in a name....... nicknames, middle names, maiden names, married names....... the hyphenated last names...... who has a middle name they never tell anyone, who's a junior or a senior...... many thoughts :3

sam is canonically named samson, so i imagine something like samson nicholas barclay. maybe his brother is vincent alexander barclay. samson and vincent are good, strong, traditionally masculine names. i headcanon that kent chose their first names and jodi chose their middle names. kent is kendall william barclay, jr, named after his war hero father, and jodi is josephine victoria barclay

The last day of the Faire, the sky was overcast, with rumbles of thunder in the far distance. As Mayor Nat stepped up to the podium set up in front of town hall, a small crowd gathered to hear the announcement. She proceeded to declare Pandora Flowers as the winner of the costume contest, and withdrew the sword to present to the winner of the tournament, Morgan Vovk.

Before she could, though, Quinn Buckley from the commune ran up on stage and grabbed the microphone from the podium.

“Listen! You have to listen. This, all of this, is because of a being far greater than us! It sent the creatures from the woods to test us! To separate the weak from the strong. It judges us because it wants us to be ready before it reveals itself. We have to listen! We have to—“

Sheriff Henry attempted to take the microphone from her, but she struggled against him, still shouting into the microphone.

“It’s real! I felt its presence! Those that listen will be saved!”

Thunder rumbled, closer than before, much closer. A loud crack of lightning illuminated the sky, blindingly bright. Beyond the clouds, briefly visible in that split second, loomed a shape, unrecognizable and massive, both bulbous and gangly. As quickly as it appeared it was gone, and what remained was the sizzling body of Tristan Wilde, struck by the lightning. The sky opened up, then, as thunder boomed directly above, and rain and hail pelted the town.

“It’s there! You all saw it! It’s real! We have to submit!” Quinn wailed, as Henry attempted to pull her off the stage. “I can prove it! I can walk amongst them untouched! I’ve been chosen! You can be chosen too!”

Her cries fell away in the deafening downpour, and those that had gathered scattered to find shelter in the nearest buildings. Whether or not they saw something or, if they did, if they believe what they saw, remains to be seen.

The storm raged on through the night, as the creatures wandered the streets unperturbed by the rain and hail. The lights of the town flickered and then, as lightning staggered across the sky, everything went dark.

(Those that ran to find shelter found themselves stuck for the night. Below you’ll find the (randomly selected) groups. You can choose for your characters to have seen the shape in the sky, to have not seen it, or to have seen it and not believe it.

Everyone can continue/finish their event threads, as all this took place on the final day of the Faire (the 29th). You may also time-jump threads, headcanon threads, or make new threads for the plot drop. The event officially ends on August 5th, at which time please do not make any more event starters, however you can continue all threads until completion.)

Born to an American realtor mother and English academic father, Evan jokes that he’s been ‘tossed around’ the UK and US all his life. Somewhat of an identity crisis there, with an accent too transatlantic to be British, but too Manchester-bred to ever pass for a true New Yorker.

Majored in Literature at Cambridge University (one of the few universities his father teaches at), and Music at Julliard. He’s a shy man with a talent for telling stories, be them through the paced out words of a poem or the right beat of a melody. At 28, he’s finished a couple of poetry collections (published, but without much buzz outside of a niche), and contributed musical compositions to unknown artists, One Night Only concerts, and small upcoming off off ooooff Broadway shows.

Regulus Magnus Black headcanons in no particular order

Regulus already know how to cast all 3 unforgivables before meeting Sebastian, at least in theory

He's a maximalist, his style is quite unusual

He absolutely adores the Sallow twins, not only his bf Sebastian, but he'll do anything for Anne

During his time at Beauxbatons Regulus dated a boy named Alexander Delacour, and Sebastian is a bit jealous

He calls Sebastian Bas/Baz. At the beginning Sebastian felt weird about it but now he's used to it, and hates when Regulus calls him by his full name or his last name. Sebastian won't let anyone else call him Bas/Baz tho. In exchange instead of calling Regulus for his common nicknames Reggie/Rex he calls him his Rabbit, but Regulus actually enjoys it.

Rex is very clingy/touchy with specific people. He really loves cuddles and will get them at any cost. So it's quite common seeing him cuddling with Ominis, Anne or Sebastian. Sometimes even Poppy and Amit. Even in rare occasions With Natty or Gareth. It was weird at first. But people got used to it. And the weird rumours stopped after some people got cursed with the pimple jinx or the jelly legs jinx.

On this note it's also quite common to see him walking hand in hand with his boyfriend or his friends.

Anne and Ominis start dating not long after she returns to Hogwarts.

He once jinxed a girl who asked him to deliver a loveletter to Sebastian. He used the Jelly legs and the pimple jinx as a nasty combo. He got caught and got detention, but he doesn't regret it.

It taught other students not to target his boyfriend as a love interest if they don't want to know how nasty Regulus can be with his jinxes.

Anne pretends to get mad when she finds Regulus and Ominis Cuddling, but always end up joining them and enjoying the affection of both boys

On rare occasions Sebastian finds them and joins in, becoming a mass of cuddles and giggles

The four of them are known as the Slytherin quartet. Equally admired and feared. But they're usually joined by Rex friends Natty, Poppy, Amit, Imelda and Garreth, even Leander sometimes.

Rex speaks English, French and Spanish.

Regulus has a vault at Gringotts full of galleons and muggle money. He opened it when he moved to London, with the money his father inherited him and his mother after he passed away. He keeps this a secret from the Black family, as they also opened a vault for him as part of their deal.

Regulus introduced the the girls to muggle literature, they loved it. He started with Pride and Prejudice, the girls fangirl over Mr. Darcy for weeks, he enjoyed watching the boys get jealous of a fictional man. He already had his Mr. Darcy fever long ago, his crush was already over, but he liked to play along just to see Sebastian sulking in jealousy. He didn't play long though, he didn't like to watch Sebastian so worked up for no reason.

Childs Play and Accidental Drownings.

I'm changing up the drowning of Alex's headcanon in my head a bit. This is the new version.  There is some fluff but in the end, it’s just sadness and trauma. 

Trigger Warning: (Mentions of death of a child. childhood trauma.)

The twins cheerfully, play away in their jammies early in the morning making a mess of the living room, having an imaginary intergalactic battle between them.

Throwing pillows, pouncing on the sofas and one another, annoying Severin who was trying to watch something on the telly.

Sebastian flops down on him. Laughing, seeing the annoyance on his face.

“It’s too early for this!”

Severin grunts, pushing Sebastian off him next to him on the couch. A pillow comes flying into his face.

And Alex laughs.

“Can you two please go play elsewhere?!”

Severin sighs, picking up the pillow off his lap, returning it to Sebastian, pushing it against his chest, giving it back as the child  stands on the sofa cushion next to him.

Missing his footing Sebastian falls down on the cushion, frowning at his older brother blaming him for his fall.

“No! You go away! We found this planet first you pesky invader!”

The five year old screams at Severin with his bossiest voice, standing up on the sofa again lifting the pillow Severin gave him, above his head to land it on Severin’s.

Not turning to see what he was doing, knowing his brother well enough, he speaks

“Don’t you dare Sebastian, I will hurt you, and when I do you will go cry to mum like a baby.”

The older Moran threatens his brother sternly, lifting his hand up, resting it against the pillow stopping Sebastian from even trying to bring it down on him.

“Severin, stop!”

Sebastian whinnes flopping down on the sofa again, crossing his arms across his chest, sulking.

Slidding off the cushion he turns to Severin; glaring darkly at him; deciding to continue being a little shit towards his older brother in revenge, Sebastian snatches the remote off his hands, throwing it across the room, screaming.

“GO AWAY! You are ruining our game, Severin!”

Severin’s jaw opens a little watching the little bastard throw the control remote, over Alex’s head making it crash against the wall, landing with such force he was surprised it did not break.

“Sebastian, what the hell?!….”

Severin shouts annoyed.  Standing up, he shoves Sebastian out of the way, stalking across the room to pick it up.

“You are really freaking annoying when you bloody want to be, you know?!”

He sighs.

While he leaves his seat, Alex runs up to the couch across from their father’s arms chair  joining Sebastian on the sofa jumping on the cushions like two wild monkeys, exploding with laughter,  holding hands, pouncing happily.

Returning to the sofa, watching  the spectacle Severin rolls his eyes trying not to smile at how cute they looked.

Wrapping his arms around Alexander’s waist he lifts him off his seat, blowing a raspberry on his neck

“You need to get off my seat, lexy”

He chuckles placing the boy back down on the floor.

Alex laughs and runs back to their father’s arm chair grabbing a pillow from the floor next to it, climbing back on the sofa.

“And you”

he says pointing his finger at Sebastian.

“You, need to stop being a brat, and let me watch my show in peace.”

he scolds him.

Frowning, Sebastian tries to bite his finger not liking being told off.

“And you need to GO AWAY!”

He screams again, glaring at his brother.

“Nope I’m not leaving, you know I watch this show every Saturday morning and you need to stop acting out.”

Severin hums, pulling his finger away from the little menace, just in time.

“Behave yourself, what the hell is wrong with you?! honestly,Sebastian”

Placing his hand over the boy’s face he shoves him backwards on the sofa, again making him flop down on his back.

A pillow comes flying across the room, landing to the back of his head.

Alex stands on the arm chair across the room glaring at him.

“Leave Sebby alone, Rin!”

The youngest Moran growls at Severin picking up another pillow, threatening to throw it.

Watching him Severin rolls his eyes and just sits back down, As he does Sebastian jumps on to his knees and starts hitting him.

“Stop! God damn it Sebastian, stop!”

He groans losing his patience with him, grabbing his hands together holding them tightly making him struggle to break free.

“Ow! Ow! Rin let me go!”

Sebastian whines trying to yank his little hands free from the teen's strong grip. His blue eyes welling up with tears.

“Will you stop, being a nuisance and let me watch tv in peace?”

Severin glares raising an eyebrow.

“Let him go! Now!”

Alex screams launching himself towards Severin, lifting his hands up, as if he was going to fight him.

Severin sighs lifting Alexander up by the waist as he comes running, and sebastian by his hands, swinging them both onto the sofa letting go of them, to tickle them having both boys explode with giggles.

Deciding they had enough he lets go of them, sitting down again, trying to continue watching tv, hopefully having his brothers settle down now.

After recovering from the brutal tickling attack Alex and Sebastian continue to wreak havoc around the living room until they hear their father come out of his room and walk towards the stairs.

Hearing the man’s footsteps climbing down the steps, the twins stop playing and  run to the couch flopping next to Severin, acting cute , forcing themselves under Severin’s arms. Sebastian sits on one side as Alex does the same on the other, pretending to have been watching tv with their brother the whole time.

The living room a mess around them.

“Morning, boys”

Augustus says coming down the stairs, passing through the living room, to the kitchen.

“Hi, dad!”

They call out in unison

Stopping by the kitchen door he turns to them, making eye contact with the twins.

“Alex, Sebastian, you boys better clean up the mess you’ve made, if you want to have any breakfast at all, you understand?”

He asks, raising an eyebrow at them.

Nodding they both call out.

“Yes dad!”

Watching him disappear into the kitchen. Both boys sigh, sliding down the sofa starting to cleaning up.

As they lifted pillows and the odd toy Sebastian of course being the mischievous little boy he was, tries to start a pillow fight with his brother, again. Hitting Alex with the pillow he held, soon getting  hit in return.

Having a small pillow fight they  teaming up hitting Severin at the same time laughing. But seeing Severin’s face they know better than to continue.

“I swear to god, if you keep this up I will pack nothing but vegetables in your lunches for a whole month!”

He hisses at them, yanking the pillows away from them, tossing them on the sofa.

Giving up on their mission to annoy their brother, they continue cleaning finishing tidying up the living room, rather quickly.

Hearing their mother call them over for breakfast.

The twins run through to the kitchen, racing each other, giggling, pushing one another, being brothers, playing.

But as soon as they get to the table, their mother sends them straight back out to the bathroom to wash their hands.

Returning to the table and settling down they have a quiet breakfast; a calm down after the mad morning of play they had.

Their father announces the plan of going to the lake for a picnic, and after preparing the food with Severin’s help, Marilyn spends an agonizing 45 minutes trying to get the twins bathed and ready to leave.

Once everyone was packed and ready in the car they finally are on their way to the lake, only 20 minutes away by car.

Severin of course is tortured by his brothers sitting each to his side chattering away, eventually punching each other and him in some dumb game they made up.

It was all fun and games until he got annoyed enough with their sharp little punches, specially Sebastian’s who tried to hit him as hard as he possibly could. And punched them both back, making them cry.

“I told you to leave me alone!”

He hissed, at them ignoring their crying and his mother’s scolding.

Once at the park the twins run around like mad, playing and annoying Severin again, their favorite pass time whenever their older brother is home on holiday.

“You keep throwing stuff at me Sebastian and I will drown you in the lake!”

the older Moran hisses at his younger brother about to lose his patience with him again, after Sebastian throws a pebble at him, landing in his eye.

They were close enough to their parents to have Augusts hear and  threatens the boy.

“Sebastian, keep this up, boy and I’ll shove you in the trunk of the car for the rest of the day”

His father says, half joking, but not really, the boys knew he would very much do it.

Not long before, he threatened Sebastian that if he kept wetting the bed, even though it wasn’t him but Alex, and Sebastian just covered for him, that he would have him sleep in the cellar and he did, the day after he said it, making the boy cry half of the night growing terrified of the dark.

It was a pretty traumatic event for him and now he couldn’t sleep without a torch and actually started wetting the bed because of it.

Sighing he leads Alex away from their parents and Severin deeper into the woods.

Their mother tells them not to go too far and they scream back that they won't but soon book it further into the woods giggling as they run, feeling free for a little while, away from constantly being told off.

Eventually their parents sent Severin to fetch them and hearing his voice they decide to run further in, eventually getting to the lake.

Sebastian squeals seeing a little boat tied to the dock.

“Lex! Lex! Look! We can be pirates!”

Sebastian says grabbing his brother's hand, guiding him to the little boat, with a grin.

Alex follows and watches him climb inside. The boat wobbles a bit, making Sebastian giggle. Before he helps Alex on it.

“Yay!” Alex cheers sitting across Sebastian on the boat.

Playing pretend for a while, rocking the boat enough to untie the loosely knotted rope around the dock post, the boat breaks free, floating away.

Not realizing it at first the boys keep playing away happily, looking  down the edge of the boat, Alex grins seeing a couple of fishes swimming close to the surface. Grinning he stretches his hand trying to catch one.

Getting to the dock Severin sees his brothers floating away on the boat and panics. Neither one of them knew how to swim.

“What are you doing?!”

Severin shouts at them.

Hearing him the boys look up, realizing they were far away from the shore.

Panicking Sebastian gets up, accidentally rocking the boat too much, causing Alex, who's more than half his body was already hanging off the boat, to fall in.

Splashing as he lands in the lake Alexander screams thrashing around trying to grab Sebastian's hand as the boy panicks trying to grab him and pull him back into the boat.

“Alex! Alex! Alex grab my hand!” The child screams stretching his hand at his brother as much as he can, trying so very hard to grab hold of him.

As Alexander panics he swallows a lot of water, each gulp being worse than the last, until he can not breathe at all.

Seeing Alexander fall Severin Jumps in the water swimming towards them, soon wrapping one arm around his brother's sinking body, pulling him out of the water into the boat again.

Sebastian immediately rushes over to his brother. Big fat, desperate tears rolling down his cheeks

“Alex?” He asks meekly, laying his little hand on his brother's chest, trying to shake him awake.

“Sebastian, move!”

Severin orders him climbing on the boat, immediately attempting CPR on the child.

Seeing he wasn't responding with the CPR Severin grabs the oars and starts rowing back to shore with all his might.

Sebastian meanwhile tries to shake Alex again. Tears rolling down his face a little harder and his voice growing with desperation.

“Alex! Please, wake up!”

The boy sobs confused and terrified for his brother.

“What the hell were you two thinking, huh?! Why did you ever think climbing into a boat ALONE was a good idea?!”

Severin scolds him, panicking himself.

Sebastian doesn't respond he just sobs, holding on to his brother's hand begging him to wake up.

As soon as they reach the shore Severin scoops up both boys and sprints back towards their parents.

During the frantic car ride there Sebastian is so distressed he has an accident.

Arriving at hospitals Augustus gets out of the car opening the backdoor taking the unconscious boy out of Severin's arms, rushing him inside while Marilyn parks the car and they go meet Augustus in the waiting room.

Everyone is too much of an anxious, worried mess to ask about what happened until after the doctors come out to tell them they couldn't save Alexander.

Alexander + Chase

Alex was every bit the playboy Teddy had called him before he met Chase, from fancy clothes to the “gaudy” jewelry. He wore a lot of suits, open shirts and generally spent most of his time looking like he stepped straight out of a high fashion catalogue.

While his tastes hasn’t changed much, he’s... Much more relaxed. There is no reason to walk around, tiddies out and all(unless he’s pissing off the council or showing off). He still dresses well, though his style is notably more comfortable - if not a little rustic.

He’s usually seen these days in solid colored sweat shirts and jumpers. Even pairing the occasional flannel to match with his look. The only jewelry that he is somewhat interested in wearing now is a wedding band or whatever Chase gets for him

Alex and Chase decidedly moved out of their respective homes as they both agreed to purchase and design a property together, mostly because the former’s home was too big and latter’s was too small. Though they stayed at Chase’s house until they did so.

Ravenoff + Landry

Landry apparently is sultry-lipped, according to Ravenoff. So I find the idea of them being beautiful and all distinguished but turning out to be a chaotic mess amusing.

Ravenoff has a reputation for being a stately, very serious vampire. He’s of high social standing and generally seen as a bit of a stiff. Landry as his mate softens his edges and appearance, making people see that despite his pride and arrogance - he’s got quite the soft spot.

Landry brings out all the best parts in him; allowing them to see the frugal, surprisingly sentimental man that he is

Sebastian + Oakley

Intense and recluse, it was simply in his nature. He’s generally very intimidating so as he learned about Oakley being his mate and loving them so much, softened him up quite a bit. Making him seem less scary and more just like a big teddy bear, much to his chagrin.

He can still be pretty mean though, they try and buffer his rudeness.

A worrywart. It’s just the protective nature seeping through, Oakley is now working remote so they don’t often have to go anywhere without him unless it happened to be an in person meetings. Whenever they leave, he can’t help but be concerned.

(It also might have to do with his intense abandonment issues that has now translated into a form of separation anxiety. As we see in the Friendsgiving video he frets over being away from them.)

So to sort of curb those feelings, Oakley will occasionally call to talk to him using their mind link. Even teleporting little things to him during their time in the city.

* MY BEST FRIEND IS A ROCKSTAR: (tw: death) muse a & muse b have been best friends since they were kids and grew up together. throughout their childhood, muse b had always told muse a about his plans to become a famous musician and as he grew older, became more and more determined to make those dreams come true. when they both hit their teen years, feelings eventually grew and the two were head over heels for each other but neither of them was ever able to admit it. they were both terrified that the feelings would be unrequited or that it would ruin their friendships so just imagine the angst of them seeing each other with other people and FGHDFG. anyway, when muse b finally turns twenty-one, he decides to move to hollywood to make his dreams come true, and muse a stays in their small hometown. they keep in contact with one another but as time went on, muse b becomes a huge rockstar with his band and their contact start to drift but they always had each other in their thoughts, wishing they were closer to one another. a few years pass and they still speak but it’s not like before. muse b was hugely successful and enjoyed the life he was now living but always felt like something was missing. that someone was missing… it’s not until he gets a distraught call from muse a telling him that her mother died does he rush on a private jet and comes home to her. after helping her arrange the funeral and being there for her through her grief, he suggests that she comes on tour with him and the band. wanting to run away from everything and everyone in her small town, she agrees. queue cute ass moments on the tour bus, traveling the world and falling in love like they did when they were young. add drama, angst ( because they’re both still dumb and won’t admit to their feels) stadium tours, TENSION!!!, groupies, etc, etc.

These are my Royalty Universe Headcanons!

DISCLAIMER: The Royalty Universe is a made up universe where Red, White, and Royal Blue, Royals by Rachel Hawkins, and Young Royals from Netlfix exist in the same timeline with all the characters being related. It is strictly fictional and exists just for fun.

Wilhelm and Flora send letters/emails/texts to Henry asking for advice about being openly out as a member of a royal family.

Alex(Claremont-Diaz) and Bea get in trouble a lot for going on unapproved adventures through England and Scotland with Sebastian, Flora, and the Royal Wreckers.

Flora and Bea are bridesmaids at Prince Alexander and Eleanor Winter's wedding.

Alex will use the private jet to take not only himself, but Daisy and Amelia from the U.S. to England or Scotland.

No one like Philip. Not even Alexander, who is generally tolerable of everyone.

All of the royal families attends Erik's funeral.

Flora, Sebastian, Bea, Alex, June, Nora, Daisy, and Daisy's best friend, Isabel, threaten to beat the shit out of August for outing Wilhelm and Simon.

June and Nora take Flora and Amelia on escapades across the U.S.

Amelia, Alex, and June didn't grow up too far from each other.

Zahra almost gets into a fist fight with Glynnis more times than anyone can count.(Shaan is the one who has to keep Zahra from losing her cool because of how insufferable Glynnis is)

Pez secretly helps Sebastian and the Royal Wreckers with their schemes because he enjoys how lively they all are.

Sara helps both Felice and Amelia get over their fears of riding horses.

Wilhelm and Amelia get along great because out of all of the people associated with the royal families, Amelia is the calmest(at least when not around Sakshi or Perry or Flora or Sebastian or occasionally Daisy)

Daisy adds to her list of Royal High Society members she has offended by sassing Felice's parents for their expectations of the teenager.

Miles becomes great friends with June because they both have dealing with the press disaster left behind by people close to them.

Bea almost gets banned from Edinburgh for telling off Queen Clara over making Miles and Daisy fake date when they were 17.

Simon, Bea, and Henry love doing karaoke together.

Henry, Bea, Alex, Nora, June, Alexander, Eleanor, Daisy, Miles, Flora, Amelia, and Sebastian all support Wilhelm and Simon through the video being released. They never make public statements due to Palace rules and the general confidentiality of the situation, but the find ways to get support out by sending letters, emails, texts and making public and social media appearances supporting the LGBTQIA+ community that definitely has nothing to do with the only heir of the Swedish throne and his teenage boyfriend being gay.
