I’ve also been trying come up with ideas for where Amadeus is from. So far my top ideas are either Afghanistan, Iraq (or another Middle East county,) and Sri Lanka. Appearance wise he looks most like Sri Lanka people. But the Sri Lanka civil war (the conflict I believe would align with this part of the theory) ended in 2009 which is a little early (he would have been about 5.) Any thoughts?

Not really, Anon. I really never thought about it. I’ve learned not to make any head-canons nor assumptions, you don’t want to do that knowing Konomi. (Yes, Eggy, I’m still looking at you)

In fact, the war-zone he grew up in may be fictional, for all I know so far (anime watcher here)

The thing about Scott and the champions is that they have Scott the chance to really be a kid for the first time in his life. He didn’t have to be a leader, that is Kamala’s job. He was working problems with the team instead of feeling like the burden lay larger on himself than anyone else. We got to see him be vulnerable in a different way than we usually see him, especially with Kamala, and that is why I loved the champions for him and why their relationships mean so much to me.
