Champions (2016) is actually a really sweet series being a team-up of most of the popular solo teen heroes of the 2010s, and it really delves into the friendships between them. All of the dynamics are so fun. Okay no one is paying attention anymore, it's time to talk about Cyclops getting a support system! That was so cute. (Scott and Amadeus dynamic is best dynamic).

The thing about Scott and the champions is that they have Scott the chance to really be a kid for the first time in his life. He didn’t have to be a leader, that is Kamala’s job. He was working problems with the team instead of feeling like the burden lay larger on himself than anyone else. We got to see him be vulnerable in a different way than we usually see him, especially with Kamala, and that is why I loved the champions for him and why their relationships mean so much to me.

I know I don’t do comics much anymore but I fail to understand why Marvel would replace a Champions roster that is full of excellent, well-established heroes with completely new characters especially considering the last Champions run was just within the last few years
