I promised y’all the analysis, so here it is.
Notes Octopath Voicelines: Ophilia: -Ascribes a trait to the gods when using divine skills (”Clever Aeber.” “Healer Dohter.” “Wise Alephan”) -Excuses herself when using steal (”Pardon me!”) -Says “Yours” when using Aeber’s reckoning. Clear sign of respect towards the gods. -Death voicelines are mainly apologetic. (”Sorry”. “It seems that I am finished”) Cyrus: -Commands the gods when using divine skills. Except Alephan, showing that he has respect towards the deity. (”Alephan, lord of Learning!” “Aelfric, give us strength!”) -Does not excuse himself when using collect or steal. (”Consider it…your tuition”) -Most battle entry statements are either determined or analytical. (”I don’t think this one will listen to reason” (Also nod to the divine boss music theme: they who govern reason) “I cannot fail!”) -Death lines express dissatisfaction and apologies (”But I still have so much to learn!”. “My friends… I am so sorry”)
Tressa: -Divine skills follow the format of “I summon”. (”I summon Aeber, prince of thieves!” “I summon Sealtigce, Lady of Grace!”) -Only apologises when stealing, but not with collecting. (”Sorry!”) -Battle entry statements are determined (”If you wont move willingly!” “Here I go!”) -Death lines express apologies and disbelief. (”It cant end like this!” “Sorry!”)
Olberic: -Only Brand’s thunder breaks his pattern of mentioning the name or epithet of the gods when using a Divine skill.. (”I wreak havoc upon thee!” “Feel the touch of Lady grace!” “Bilfegan trade with us!”) -Has the occasional slipup to middle English (”I wreak havoc upon thee!” “Whither thy fate!”) -Refers to magic as witchcraft. Refrence to him being the only character that is unable to cast magic without multiclassing. (Only refers to it as witchery if the magic is cast by an enemy) (”Cursed witchery!” “Banish their witchery!”) -Only character that canonically curses on voiceline. (”Damn!”) -Only deathline expresses utter disbelieve at his defeat (Have I… failed?) Primrose: -Uses a lot of “me” and “I” in her voicelines. Even when praying to a god (”Aeber, help me take what is mine.” “Suffer for me!” “I’ll shock you!”) -Many of her voicelines state what will happen to the enemy. (”You can’t outrun Draefindi.” “I’ll slice through you.”) -Death Voiceline is a copy of Tressa’s, but expressing much more disbelieve and despair (”It can’t end like this…”) Alfyn: -A lot of use of the words “shucks” and “egads” as improvised curses. -Laughs a lot (”Haha!” “Ha!”) -Apologises for dying (”Aww, shucks!” “Sorry guys!”)
Therion: -Sarcasm. So much sarcasm. (”I appriciate it, really!” “You’re too kind!”) -Does not speak the name of the Gods. Showing unfamiliarity and disrespect. (”Prepare for pain!” “Time to steal the show!”) -States the effect of the spell, rather than its name. (”Burn!” “Freeze!” “Shock!”) -Is very annoyed when entering battle (”Ugggh.” “Out of my way.” “Come on, I have better things to do.”) -Is very, very mad at dying (”Not now!”)
H’aanit. -Most of her voicelines are middle-english versions of Olberic’s so there is not much of note.
-Most of the difference is in the constant refrences to hunting. (”I will not be thy prey!” “Letten the hunt beginnen!”)
(Had this just vibing in my word for a lil so I hope it makes enough sense lol)

THE ORIGIN OF ORSTERRA V2.0.
(spoilers for bravely second and octopath traveller end/post game)
So about that new info from what we currently know of champions of the continent..... Time To Rework Things A Little Bit Hee Hee.
There are almost countless Luxendarcs that were left to the mercy of the Ba'als and the End Layer, which is to say there was nothing that could be called 'mercy'. The land was decimated, the crystals destroyed, most cities and towns razed, all mortal life extinguished.
When that celestial descended from the chaos of their own realm on a glimmering ship, there was naught but those beasts left on the lifeless, timeless planets.
With the help of another celestial that they summoned, and the timely assistance of a fox, the Ba'als were eliminated. Thankfully, the death of their creator had left them far weaker than what they would have been.
This celestial, Orsa, wished to give these worlds another chance. They recreated many of the lifeforms found in the realm they hailed from. And, with the help of their company, Finis, many beings that could be considered gods were born. 13, to be exact.
Aelfric granted the world warmth, Alephan preserved what little remained of the Old World, Bifelgan brought back the winds, Brand reshaped the landmasses, Sealticge taught the world song, Dohter gifted life with the ability to heal, Aeber gave them luck, Draefendi granted patience, Steorra recreated the moon (and subsequently restored the flow of time), Dreisang reshaped the magic of the land, Balogar gifted bravery, Winnehild warned of the horrors of conflict.
But the youngest child, the 13th, Galdera... They were the last life Orsa created. Orsa passed soon after for reasons unknown. What was clear, however, was that Galdera would be the one to grant new life from now on (and subsequently take those same lives away).
The passing of Orsa left Finis heartbroken. Their grief would last eternity.
In an attempt to ease Finis' suffering, Galdera (feeling responsible) constructed a gate leading to what was in essence an afterlife in an effort to let Finis see Orsa again. A gate that could only be opened by a celestial, or with a set of peculiar stones found near the corpses of dragons. (Upon discovering that their power now resided in these stones, they became known as dragonstones). The gate didn't work, however. At least not as intended, as it lead to the Infernal Realm. Finis, however, refused to give up on the idea. It can be speculated they wander that realm even now - searching for Orsa.
As time marched on, the toll of giving and taking away life began to take it’s toll on the young god. Eventually, they forgot the origin of their existence and stepped completely into the role of the god the worlds’ inhabitants perceived them to be. They grew to be upset by the inevitable fate of mortals, and, eventually, made the decision to attempt to save them from that fate.
But the naive celestial did not consequences of their actions. How could they, having been treated as divinity by the ones they wished to save?
Their deeds forced their siblings to take action. The dragonstones of light and dark had been long lost to time, but those of wind, water, earth, and fire remained. As such, the celestials used these stones to open the doors of the gate. And in order to seal Galdera in the Infernal Realm that lay beyond their own creation, Odin Crossford - a human possessing powerful magic - forced a part of Galdera’s soul out of their body and into his own, and then walked through that gate himself. Over and over this continued throughout many of the New Worlds, until finally Galdera’s soul was sealed entirely within the Infernal Realm, in fragments across space and time.
In order to be certain none of the remaining siblings would succumb to a similar fate, the gods left the worlds they had worked so hard to maintain, assisting only at a distance.
In light of these events, followers of Galdera were branded heretics and persecuted by many of their fellow mortals. One particularly devout follower, however, would not meet the same fate. Stumbling across the Gate, she finds a tiny gap. And through that gap, Galdera reaches her. They request her help to unseal them, and she of course agrees. In return, Galdera shares with her their own lifespan, and names her their daughter: Lyblac.

Mun Plays Octopath Traveler
Woo boy! I wasn’t able to do much major in regards to the story, but I did some awesome side content!
Okay, I first started by going to the Shrine of the Starseer. The previous day, I was defeated by Steorra, so I decided to try my luck again. This time, I was defeated once again, but with a slight change in strategy and better luck, I was able to defeat her, mostly by reflecting her attacks back at her. I ended up giving the Starseer job to H’aanit, mostly because I felt it suited her best considering her upbringing and it would work well with her abilities.
After that, I went to the Shrine of the Runeblade. Again, I failed, but mostly due to bad luck, but when I tried again, I mopped the floor with Balogar. Thanks to  Aelfric's Auspices, Peacock Strut, Alephan's Enlightenment, and a max BP Boosted (with additional help from Starsee’s Support Ability, BP Eater)  Tenebrae Operire and  Lux Congerere from Cyrus, he fell easily.
Afterwards, I went on to do Alfyn’s Chapter 4 and honestly, a part of me was thinking I’d have to fight Ogen. Like, he would be some major antagonist, but I’m kinda glad he wasn’t. Though I was a little disappointed that Alfyn’s final boss wasn’t some major antagonist relative to his story, like how Cyrus had Lucia, Olberic had Werner, Primrose had Simeon, or Therion had Darius. But hey, it’s whatever.
Against the boss, I once again failed, mostly because I had underleveled party members, i.e. H’aanit and Alfyn (whom I gave the Cleric job to compliment his abilities). Part of the reason I lost was because I kept having Primrose her Bewildering Grace in hopes of getting EXP Multipliers, but to no avail. So on the second attempt, I was much more straightforward. I also suffered because at one point, everyone was hit by a silencing mist thanks to Bewildering Grace and I forgot to stock up on Herbs of Clamor, so I was out of luck. So yeah, in the rematch, things fared much better.
Once I finished that, I decided to go ahead and tackle the Shrine of the Warmaster. But before that, I decided to take a look around the new Riverford (and swapped H’aanit and Alfyn out for Olberic and Tressa again) and got some good items and equipment for everyone before going to the Shrine.
Of course, same deal. I lost to Winnehild, but won in the rematch after changing things around and going after a new approach. I pretty much did the same strategy as mentioned before, but with her weakness, as well as using Elemental Break to further lower her magic defenses. I was even able to beat her before she gained 6 actions per turn. When I won, I gave the job to Olberic to further turn him into a tank.
I then went to Northreach and checked a few things out, Purchased some things, and accidentally found Ogen, whom I actually didn’t recognize when I went to speak to him, since I wasn’t paying attention. Imagine my surprise when I triggered a cutscene involving Ogen returning to Northreach. I wanted to continue, but it was getting late, so I saved by the cemetery, where I found Ogen again with plans on talking to him the following day.
Now? I only have 3 stories left to finish; Therion, H’aanit, and Ophilia, in that order. After that? I don’t know. But I’m willing to wait and see what’s in store.

Description: Brand is looking down at Hikari, barely holding back a smile. The god's eyes are wide, and his cheeks are a happy pink. His fists are clenched, and he's vibrating with excitement. In the background, Sealticge's back is turned. She's looking down and yelling, "Kick her ass, Agnea!"
-
Description: Alephan is pinching the bridge of his nose. His eyes are scrunched up, and he's slowly counting prime numbers. Below him is a vision of Osvald mugging an old man. Bifelgan sings at the top of his lungs, blissfully unaware of his sibling's plight. He's attempting to drag Alephan into a square dance.
