Introducing Marshall-Legate Levayah-1836
Marshall Legate Levayah-1836 put her helmet down on the new Fabricator Minoris's desk. Put was perhaps to kind a word for a metal object weighing nearly forty pounds being dropped onto a metallic desk. It had been a few weeks since the previous one had been found guilty of treason and heresy.
The new Magos in charge of the fleet had already begun to promote her own acolytes and acquaintances into various now empty and open positions. It was politics as normal.
Levayah-1836 was here to ensure she herself was not downgraded. Like most skitarii marshalls of the First Deimos Expeditionary Fleet she had a large amount of autonomy as like as her objectives were fulfilled, and for the prosecution of the Omnissiah's wars was her primary objective.
Magos Aleph-Gimmel, the new Fabricator Minoris, looked up at her from behind Omega Bellerov-1.0's old work space. "Marshall Legate Levayah-1836. To what do I owe the honor?"
Her eye involuntary twitched. She still had a face of partial flesh including one eye though kept open always. It was not an honor to meet her. It ought to be the other way, but the Marshall was never one to debase herself even to her superiors. "I am not here to beg or supplicate myself."
The Fabricator Minoris leaned forward. "Why are you here then? There are many more things that could be done and this transition is... Complicated. It requires my full attention."
Levayah-1836 sat there straight as a rod. She would not let this diplomatic newbie to power remove her. "Look through my service record. I have fought with distinction for Deimos and the Omnissiah."
After a moment, the Fabricator Minoris's augmented eye blinked. "Yes, you have an impressive record especially for a skitarii such as yourself."
"I will not be removed. I will remain here. I have seen what has happened to a few tech priests close with your predecessor-"
Aleph-Gimmel sent a impluse through the noosphere freezing her for a second. "All found guilty of chaos corruption."
Levayah-1836 unfroze, eye full of rage before returning to level. "Yes, and all replaced by your.... Associates like the Lexmechanic Tsephor-10.56."
"I promoted who I thought were component."
"Be... That as it may. I will not be removed from my position. I do not care who sits in that position, I live to serve the Omnissiah and her wars. The previous Fabricator Minoris has allowed me this autonomy because of my record."
Aleph-Gimmel stayed quiet for a long time before getting up. She picked up the Marshall's helm. The Fabricator Minoris examined it before putting it onto its owners lap. "Yes, you do. However, Marshall Legate Levayah-1836, please, do not forget where your orders come from yes? More crucially, do not forget, I am not Omega Bellerov-1.0."
The Marshall was frozen again for a second before coming to outside the office of the Fabricator Minoris. Levayah-1836 wanted to curse up a storm. At least her own position was secure for the moment. She could feel new war and security objectives worm their way into her brain.

In megaten games, characters use incense to increse their stats. The previous poll I asked the question how was the incense used to increse stats. The burning of incense was voted most likely at 48.9%, with eating it second at 46.7%. The remaining 4.4% was for non burning types of incense.
Which means should I write SMT fic, at least one character will eat the incense. And I will probably spend a lot of time in mental debate about who. Most of them will probably light it and meditate for the stat gain, save that one character who makes the others question their sanity.
Back to the original tangent, this poll has two new options.
Turn it into a perfume and wear it.
And
Crush it into a powder and snort it like coke (based on an experiance with flour by @holy-soup )
Lets go
Since I did SMT 1 thoughts last time, I guess I'll try SMT ii, from what I know.
Zayin and Beth burn and meditate on it like normal people.
Hiroko turns it into a perfume and wears it.
Daleth spent time in the wilds or something, so he could be the one eating it, but I think its far funnier for Aleph to eat it in front of him, and Daleth getting mad that he is being shown up by his rival, and making many attempts to learn how to eat incense.
Which leaves Gimmel snorting it as a side activity while running Arcadia.
Zayin (and Beth) look upon this and wonder what in the world is wrong with everyone else

List of Magi and Other Characters Associated with the First Deimos Explorator Fleet
Fabricator Minoris Technoarcheologist Magos Domina Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0 (she/her): a xenarite who is in charge of the fleet and mostly responsible for the current state of the fleet in a penitent crusade they have just not returned from. Her specialty is wraithbone-necrodermis fusions to cancel out warp energies. She is rather brazen about her xenarite tendencies that emerged after a meeting with Cawl a few hundred years ago. Before said meeting she was a hardline orthodox techpriest. She is however an incredibly competent technoarcheologist and administrator, keeping the Fleet together. She was originally a diplomat for the fleet and for that reason has not had a lot of outward facial augmentations to make coordinating with other parts of the Imperium easier.
Mechasapient Magos Tsephor (he/him): Aleph-Gimmel's oldest friend and a manipulus magos only concerned with the care of the pteraxii of the fleet. Pteraxii are both symbols of good luck and his only obsession. He is a blank and utterly unconcerned with matters of religious importance as long as he can ensure his "birds" are well taken care of. He is not a xenarite and only in the fleet's penitent crusade due to close association with Aleph-Gimmel.
Datasmiths Pot-Ketl (he/it/they): a pair of Datasmiths or just one Datasmith who is either two techpriests who have augmented themselves into one person or one priest who split his brain in twain. They always speak in union and are on the FDEF for suspected experiments with Abominable Intelligence in their kastelan robots. However the Kastelans have been functioning better than ever before so this goes largely uncommented on. They have a piece of archeotech that allows them to communicate between each other across almost limitless distance.
Skitarii Marshall Kattal-4/28 (it/they): head of security aboard the fleet and Aleph-Gimmel’s personal Ark Mechanicus, Deimos’s Cog, it is the perfect representation of Aleph-Gimmel’s experiments with xenotech with much of their own augments being supplamneted by necrodermis and wraithbone supports. Their own personal weapon was stolen from a slain Aeldari warrior. Kattal-4/28 does not speak often but aboard the FDEF it is known two things. They speak with the vox of their Fabricator Minoris and they are given far more autonomy than any skitarii ought to, even by the liberal standards of the FDEF. Before becoming a Marshall it worked often with sicarian units and have grown fonder and fonder of cloak and dagger operations.
Admiral Ezekiel Bendavid (he/him): the head of the accompanying imperial Navy flotilla. He is the latest in a long line of scions of the Bendavid dynasty, skilled Navy commanders. He wished too be a general in the guard since reading the works of General Jenit Sulla and the exploits of Hero of the Imperium Ciaphas Cain. He is adept at void warfare and longs for the boarding actions of his youth when he was allowed to fight the enemy hand to hand and not kept cooped up in the battle deck of his ships.
Artificer Siderénia Teleiótita (he/they): the Chapter Master of the Ironsong Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes. They claim in public to be sons of Ferrus Manus but in reality are an experiment made by the magi of Deimos using the geneseed of Fulgrim. Siderénia Teleiótita is the second chapter master of the Ironsong and has struck a balance between the industrial and artistic factions of the chapter embodies both ideals of a refined noble knight and master of mechanized warfare whenever the situation calls for it.
Malka the Phobeian (he/she):the head of one of Deimos’s several knightly houses who joined the fleet because her enginseer-Sacristan was sentenced there. He doesn't quite understand how a tech priest could commit heresy. That’s for more religious individuals, in the meantime she focuses on honor in battle, obliterating the enemies of the Emperor and ensuring the noble lineage of his house. He was never supposed to be the head of House Phobeian, the Terror of Phobos, but the next six heirs and children of her father all died in mysterious circumstances. Her Sacristan has assured her he is completely safe within her knight. Her melding with the throne mechanicum years ago stripped back many of her more shy and soft aspects of his personality.
Inquisitor Seraph Seraphdottior (she/her): an inquistor self appointed to monitor the FDEF, a member of the Ordo Machinum who is sure that Aleph-Gimmel has already fallen to Tzeentch, Admiral Ezekiel Bendavid to Khorne, and Artificer Siderénia Teleiótita to Slaanesh. She will only act however once she has concrete evidence because several plants and fleets worth of ships and technology are on the line. Seraphdottior has worked with the Prefecture Magisterium in the past. She is far colder and more aloof than most of the tech priests aboard the FDEF, because she is after all the Judgment Of The Emperor and can be allowed no errors.

The works of Magi Aleph-Gimmel and Verthandi-1 have answered a question none thought possible to answer. Namely: what is the worst thing you can do to a Krieger?
You would think it's not possible to find that out. They're Kriegers. They were born to be ground into pulp by both the never ending war of their planet, and the Imperium's desperate attempts at conquest. Kriegers are fodder.
So what's the worst thing you can do to something made to die?
Make it immortal.
(From the personal log of Skitarii Marshall Othala-Hægl 1-12)

Mordovia bubble hit. Sleeper has been roused, last tracked en route to Zayin portal. Casualties unknown.
Okay, so the Earth-Gimmel portal was opened by Labyrinth, and Cauldron is providing portals to even more earths via the Doormaker and all, but also, like... this makes it sound like other standing portals were already a thing? Or am I reading too much into this?
I mean, I suppose the discovery of Earth Gimmel (i.e. that more than Earth Aleph is accessible) might have convinced other people to begin trying for portals and stuff.

which first-person shooter would each SMTII character play, and why?
throwing this out there: Daleth teabags
Aleph: classic doom, no mods or wads, just likes to have a good time collecting blue keys
Daleth: halo 2 multiplayer, energy sword dickhead, serial teabagger
Hiroko: goldeneye for some reason. sorry, I don't make the rules
Beth: indoctrination by the center has made her into an annual CoD person. beyond saving
Gimmel: slime rancher (can't play anything with more than a soft T-rating in arcadia)
Zayin: even in this hypothetical he exclusively plays crusader kings 2

Thoughts on the ordering mechanism; in light of Virgo The split from good to bad, awesome to lame, interesting to boring, is the test all the time... under Liberalism, which itself is just a name for pure judgement, Saturn/Osiris in the garden, deciding. To wit: as soon as there is memory, there is association, and thus, wisdom standard. Saturn/Shiva is, after all, just Time itself (Chronos) and thus where memory and experience, the beginning of the scale, happens. The G-d experiencing themself is the all consuming, all self-aware except for noticing gloriously the "delusion" or more directly, "delugion" as in G-d's consciousness noticing creation into being constantly, Shroedinger's infinite noticer, of only that which is, deciding. This is the consumer under this-stage capitalism and every other, no? Liberalism itself, Right or Left but neutral into the violent, direct center, defending reason and pragmatic operations, keeping the markets open and the products moving by any means uncircumvented. The self that notices, prefers, and thus, defines itself in terms of its pursuits. This is the Osiris that we all are, judging the dead, the products themselves, packaged for our timely, unhurried consumption, but summoned from beyond and chosen like the first and last of agriculture alike. This is fine lol. If it's not, we will complain, however feels most effectively. Can we speak to a manager? If not we will just leave. This is the ordering mechanism that helps define Virgo, and in Jewish Kabbalah, it's a time for self-assesment and, like many other times, especially "nowadays" for working things out with people as immediately as possible, by taking responsibility as effectively as possible. Notably in the Bible and in any of the functionally martial moments in canon ever after, this has taken a pragmatic, violent pivot, so much so that the rest of the social expectation and responsibility narrative tends to express itself in those terms-- but deliteralized into the range of pragmatic oral violences endemic of the later prophets and preachers, still in the hopes of aspiring to take responsibility for something maybe a little out of anyones hands. Just in the hopes of drawing good conclusions, so as to live well rather than not. The ordering mechanism in Virgo is so about noticing and remembering the difference between the wonderful and the ugh. Hassidic master Tzvi Elimelch of Dinov connects it to the relationship between Gimmel and Daled, beneficence and poverty. Whereas Wisdom and it's inevitable corruption (in time, through space) into it's opposite, Ignorance, is sometimes associated with the first two letters in the Aleph-Bet, and the Bet of Bereishit (Genesis) is the collapse into Ignorance that made the world possible, within the bubble of ignorance that congealed in loving contrast to the Divine and complete original Wisdom so that there could be extremes to the world and possibility itself. This is the first X Y axis, before the physical directions congealed and took off into the Six directions of space, first there was before and after, then there was better and worse. Here associated with Wealth, Beneficence, all the good that the camel brings ברוך הגמלני כל טוב is that third letter, the Daled that follows it is poverty, created by its opposite, mostly in memory and association. Remember when we used to have so much that we don't have now? Sorry. This ordering mechanism is associated with G-d creating the world, deeply, differently than the New Year of Aries, Passover time. Virgo as the divine Maiden is specifically not the Mother, but the esoteric truth that the "mother and the maiden are one," arguably the main revelation of Eleusis as far as Demeter and Persephone being One in Aphrodite Urania. That's all in the absence of creation, and this is argued for why the letter YOD " י " is the letter associated with Virgo and Elul in the Sefer Yetzirah. The Yod is the tenth letter
but somehow also the beginning of all letters, a little dot/slash, the atomic element in all letters to follow. Yet somehow only expressed into the beginning of all that is ever the Sixth month of the Twelve, the judgment-assesment-take care of it part of the year and of the self, the Yod that introduces and resolves so that we can notice and do, finally. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcM4nYKtV58 This video beautifully picks apart the moment where one of our collective favorite directors (because Batman was so universal of course, like the space between Halloween and Christmas) is analyized for when and why he stopped being good or fun, and the parrallel with the process of individuation into obnoxiousness in the cartoon cinema industry is too beautiful, deep, and sad not to share. The process will see all our limitations, and the sooner we see it ourselves, the more responsibility we will be able to take for what's possible next and now. Enjoy the agency, feel welcome to get on it, be sorry, notice what we're still proud of and/or mad about, and see what we can do to take responsibility for all the next steps, before the rains come and it's too wet and cold to do anything lol

Shin Megami Tensei II livetweet thread (5/8)
so.... beth died while barely having saying a word, daleth was a psycho and became brainwashed by an elf and gimmel failed at crypto and got offed by us
guess there's not much space for doubt that zayin is unequivocally the best character from the lab human roster
i already commented on SMT1 getting the chaos side better than other games and it goes beyond in SMT2, even gaians are depicted with much less nonsensical aggressiveness
idk what to think abt hiroko, to her credit she's given a lot more dialogue than previous heroines but her relationship with aleph still feels random
out of nowhere we get everyone in the game agreeing they are a couple when there has been no scene whatsoever that even distinguished them going from strangers to barely close to each other which we at least got in SMT1
here's my idea of a retake on belphegor: he doesn't turn him into a bishie or anything and just stays exactly the same except now he's playing on his phone while on the toilet
~
hooray we also visit the underworld in smt2!! it's the first time since pretty much the beginning that there are different bgms and graphics altogether, the agony in all those days stuck going through the same reused shit over and over can't be understated
the part where you have to help the japanese deities by building the body of masakado is the worst thing i had to endure in a smt game, even with a guide you just feel like screaming for help
imagine what i went through with MT1 and multiplay by 10 the number of items and locations
~
don't you fucking lie to me, this is the nickelodeon slime pool isn't it
OUR WAIFU HECATE HAS RETURNED for both my amusement and dismayal she's the very first boss i got game overs because the bitch drops a lot of instakills
(remember how humans are inherently immune to light in the snes games? basically she's the first boss to act actually smart and go for mudo instead. i had zero protection against it ❤️)
~
the animation of some sprites load a bit worse than others but this one takes the cake to the point it hurts my eyes
~
i can see why people like to draw aleph with a smiley face, he has a lot of goofy negotiation options lol although in my case i see him as those manly 90s kuudere bishies that unintentionally act like a clown while keeping the serious face
aleph gets church fanboys throwing money all over him while barely trying
~
only law gets normal water, if you're neutral you bathe in slime and if you're chaos go straight to the tomato soup
on this matter, i'm not worried about the options i'm picking because this time the most interesting routes for me are either law or chaos so i'm just going with whatever
that being said, this game is -awfully- biased towards law to the point i haven't been able to switch from it even once, the chaos healers are not only harder to find but they only allow your entry if you pay an 1k fee so it's quite an annoying expense in early game
~
i'm used to how toned down the series turned out to be in video game form despite the novel it originated from but this scene specifically made me go "ok if this wasn't something tailored to be allowed on a nintendo console You Just Know he would say another word instead of kill"
mind break ntr monster ass
sadly the one (1) r-rated smt with actual eroguro we got doesn't have art done by kaneko but some other rando. it's not that bad-looking compared to other guests artists but 🥺 the one chance kaneko had of going all out… poof

I’ve decided I might as well put my 13 years of day school education to good use, so...
A Glossary of Yiddish and Hebrew Words This Rabbi Uses You Might Not Know:
(I’ll transcribe closer to the accent he’s using than ‘standard’ Israeli pronunciation, to make this easier. Not going to translate things he translates himself, for the most part, but erring on the side of over-explaining.)
Sefer (pl. Sforim): Book, books. Specifically being used here for holy books.
Sefer Yehoshua is The Book of Joshua, Sefer Devarim is The Book of Deuteronomy
HaKadosh Baruch Hooh (I know this is a weird transliteration but they all looked weird): “The Holy One, Blessed Be He,” i.e. God. One of many names we use in place of Names, since we don’t use God’s Names in vain. Hashem is another ‘placeholder’ name, which literally means “The Name.”
Yehoshua Ben-Nun: Joshua, son of Nun (this might be obvious, but just in case.)
Moshe Rabbeinu: Moses, Our Teacher.
Klal Yisrael: He does define this, but since he uses it a lot: literally “the Whole of Israel,” but basically just means “the Jewish People.”
Nevuah: Another word he translates, but appears a LOT. Prophecy. See also Navi (pl. Nevi’im), “prophet(s).” Note: Navi or Nevi’im is also used to refer to the Prophets segment of the Bible, and he sometimes uses it that way (eg. around 6:00)
Mann: Manna (the biblical food, not the magic video game energy. Side note, I looked that up, and the two words appear to be unrelated.)
Eretz Yisrael: The Land of Israel
Perek (pl. p’rakim): Chapter.
Pasuk (pl. p’sukim): Verse. Chapters and verses are often given with their numbers in Hebrew, so...
A Note On Numbering: While Hebrew does have words for one, two, etc. numbers were often noted using letters instead, since Arabic numerals are a relatively new thing. Here is a chart. Each letter in the Hebrew alphabet is assigned a value. The first ten (aleph to tet) are 1-9, the next set (yud to tzadi) are the tens column (i.e. yud is 10, kaf is 20, etc.), and the last set (kuf to tav) are the hundreds (100-400). Note that when letters have multiple forms (eg. shin and sin) only one is used. Usually, to indicate that it’s a number rather than a word, there will be a mark before the second to last letter. So, for example, 25 would be כ"ה (kaf-hey, 20+5), and this year on the Hebrew calendar, 5783, is written as תשפ"ג (taf-shin-pey-gimmel, 400+300+80+3=783, with an optional hey (5) at the beginning for the millenium that’s usually left off because it. changes once a millenium. so why bother.) (It’s also sometimes used by commentaries to find numerological significance to words or phrases, a process called gematria.)
There is a slight complication to this. We don’t write God’s Name unnecessarily (see above), which makes writing 15 and 16 difficult--the 10 would be a yud, followed by a hey or vav for 5 or 6, and either way spells a Name. To avoid this, 15 and 16 are written as ט"ו (tet-vav, 9+6) and ט"ז (tet-zayin, 9+7) respectively. For those of you who have seen posts about Tu B’Shvat (often called “Jewish Earth Day”), that’s actually what the Tu means! The holiday is on the 15th of the month of Shvat, and when you read ט"ו like a word you get “Tu!”
Toras Moshe: The Torah of Moses. The Torah is often referred to this way, since it was given to us through him. This is also why he has the epithet of “our teacher.” Comes from (I think?) Deuteronomy 33:4, “The Torah that Moses commanded us is a legacy for the congregation of Jacob.” (translation from Chabad because I like theirs better.)
Tzaddik: Holy or righteous person. Sometimes translated as “Saint,” but not in a Catholic way. More like how you might call someone “saintly.”
Arvos Moav: Place name. I think this means “The Plains of Moab,” but am not 100%. Basically just means on the eastern shores of the Jordan River.
Yarden: Jordan
Reuven, Gad: Reuben, Gad.
Shevet (eg. Shevet Menashe): Tribe (eg. Tribe of Manasseh)
B’nei Yisrael: The Children of Israel. Another way of saying the Jewish People. See K’lal Yisrael above.
Perush: Commentary, commentator. Literally “interpretation.”
Chidush: He does kind of explain this, but basically means “something new.” Often used for a new interpretation or angle of interpreation of Torah, though here he uses it more to mean “an addition.”
Talmid Chacham: Literally “Student of the Wise,” means someone extremely learned in Torah.
“Lo Kam K’Moshe”: “There never arose like Moses.” Part of a phrase. The full phrase depends on which source you are taking it from (the original is in Deuteronomy, but there is a perhaps better known variation in the liturgical poem Yidgal--see here for both), but is basically “There never arose another prophet like Moses.”
Derech Eretz: Literally “the way of the land.” Kind of a complicated concept to translate, tbh, but most often used nowadays to mean being a decent person. More thorough explanation from Chabad here. Note, however, that both the 1997 Metsudah translation and the Sefaria community translation have Rashi meaning it more literally. Chabad translates it here as “worldly pursuits.” (When I said complicated I wasn’t kidding lol.)
D’Oraisa: “of the Torah,” refers to commandments that are given in the Written Torah from Hashem, eg. “Don’t eat meat and milk,” which comes from “don’t boil a kid in its mother’s milk.” As opposed to
D’Rabanan: “of the rabbis,” Rabbinic commandments, from the Oral Torah, eg. “Don’t eat poulty with milk either“ (chickens do not have milk). Note that since “obey the rabbis” is a d’Oraisa commandment, Rabbinic mitzvas are also binding.
Seichel: Common sense, more or less. Being smart about things. Intellect.
Shtender: Lecturn.
Taskil: Successful. He’ll go into it in a second. (But it is funny that he pauses, seemingly to translate, and then just says another Hebrew word).
Osek BaTorah: Engaged/occupied with the Torah
Mazel: Fortune (like fortune telling, not like wealth). Also means “constallation,” though that’s not what he’s using it for.
Zekeinim (sing. zaken): The elderly
Chalutzim: honestly not 100% sure of this but seems to mean something like vanguard? My searches say “pioneers,” but given the military context idk
I probably missed some things, but hopefully this helps!
Day 1: Joshua 1 // יהושע א
Today, Friday July 7th, 2023, we are beginning an approximately two year journey to read the Prophets (Nevi'im) and Writings (Ketuvim) of the Tanakh. We will be using the OU's podcast shiurim for commentary to guide this study. However, please feel free to add your own sources and commentary in the notes. Please add any thoughts or discussion in reblogs so that it is easier to keep track of the conversation. Toda raba!

DEIMOSIAN REVIEW OF THE FIRST EXPLORATOR FLEET
<<<TRANSMISSION FROM DEIMOS HISTORICAL ARCHIVES…RECORDS WRITTEN BY MAGOS-HISTORIA ESTHER-MENDEELVEE ∆12.56π…UNSEALED BY ORDER OF THE HOLY INQUISITION, ORDRO MACHIUM, INQUISITOR SERAPH SERAPHDOTTIOR…105M42>>>
What can be said of the First Explorator Fleet of Deimos? To say anything of what has been called “Boats Full of Xenarites” and “The Best Damned Explorators This Side Of The Eye of Terror” Our beloved Deimos itself must be discussed even in brief. REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED.
Deimos has long been a smaller Forgeworld by the standards of the Adeptus Mechanicus, which gained most of its raw material from what remains of the Solar System's asteroid belt and Kuiper Belt. However despite being smaller in sheer size and output that has made Deimos no less hungry than other Forge Worlds. As the munition makers of the Grey Knights the forges of Deimos have never been allowed to fall silent lest the Great Enemy find any weakness in the defenses of Holy Terra. It was established by taking one of Mars moons from its orbit and moving it forward Titan, before establishing a Forgeworld upon this small rock that grew equally outwards and in. One method of growing the surface area of the moon has been to bring other asteroids close enough that they might be added to its mass, leading the once small moon to be a network of hallowed out asteroids stitched together by human artifice and holy machinery. This has lead Deimos to be approximately REDACTED across and REDACTED percent the size of Holy Mars.
Like every other Forgeworld the rediscovery of blessed STCs is paramount in the minds of masters of Deimos and thus the creation of their exploratory fleets. These fleets, each led by an Ark Mechancius, lead the way in search for archeotechnology. Established as an semi-independent force by the Fabricator General REDACTED REDACTED of Deimos very soon after the establishment of Deimos as a Forgeworld.
In more recent history the First Exploratory Fleet has had two Magi Domini. The first was Magos Domina Omega Bellerov-1.0 and Technoarcheologist Magos Domina Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0.
Fabricator Minoris Magos Domina Omega Bellerov-1.0 was originally the techpriest in charge of the Purgation Maniple which undoubtedly tinted her perspective about leadership. Bellerov-1.0 was a plastisteel fisted ruler. Under her command skitarii, servitor, and techpriest alike were seen as utterly disposable to further the will and reach of the Omnissiah. They led the fleet for around two hundred standard years bringing back approximately three STC fragments to Deimos for study. However after an encounter with the Word Eaters Legion Warband known as REACTED, Bellerov began to grow eccentric but still functioned well within parameters. However, for nine standard decades after this, Bellerov-1.0 began to abandon the pursuit of STC fragments instead chasing down Slaaneshi dedicated cults including THE BLESSED GUARDIANS on Erophant III.
Erophant III would be Magos Domina Omega Bellerov-1.0’s last stand after nearly 56.43% Skitarii, 80.31% servitor, and 23.48% Techpriest casualty rates, the fleets ruling Synod launched an investigation. Due to knowledge gained from serving the Grey Knights, Bellerov was deemed corrupted by KHORNE and promptly REDACTED.
Following this the oldest priest serving became the ruling Fabricator-Minoris Explorator of the Fleet as decreed by the fleets Synod, and Technoarcheologist Magos Aleph-Gimmel became Fabricator-Minoris Technoarcheologist Magos Domina Explorator Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0.
Under Fabricator-Minoris Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0’s leadership 7 distinct STC fragments have been found. Further three Necron tomb worlds have been discovered and reported to the wider Imperium and novel weapons added to the arsenal of both Adeptus Mechanicus and Grey Knight forces. However her propensity towards the usage of Eldar and Necron technology has began to stir up declarations of REDACTED.
Fabricator-Minoris Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0 has utilized the combination of these two technologies after a meeting with Belisarius Cawl in order to form practical antipysker personal shielding that was spread within the First Explorator Fleet, however it's construction of necrodermis and wraithbone has lead most non Deimosian Techpriests that learn of it too decry it as hersey.
Fabricator-Minoris Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0 displays a knack for finding STC fragments to support her with that has lead to many supporters previously here on Deimos to claim that she was blessed truly by the Omnissiah. Further information can be found in LINK_MISSING. The First Explorator Fleet has also come to the aid of the Grey Knights with the resurgence of the Demon Prince ANGRON as the fleet Synod now holds a grudge against the chaos power known as KHORNE.
However, it was the trade with the LEAGUE OF VOTANN KNOWN AS THE TRANSANDROMEDIAM COOPERATIVE for resources in addition to rumors of PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS that has lead to Fabricator-Minoris Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0 and the majority of her supporters to be declared by the Fabricator General Xenarite and Cawlian. In addition her supporters would be on a two hundred year penance crusade to recover lost technology before they could return to Deimos with the First Fleet. This was declared in 846M41.
Organizationally, this Fleet, at last broadcast, was know to follow common organization of a Deimos force: a Skitarii-Infantry Maniple with three Cohorts, a Scout Maniple with three Cohorts, a Cybernetica Vanguard Maniple with three Cohorts, a Purgation Maniple with two cohorts and a independent Command Cohort run by the most senior tech priest present. The Command Cohort is usually comprised of choice selected unit by the leading priest. The Skitarii-Infantry Maniple are lead by two Skitarii Marshals and one Skitarius Preator. The Cyberntica Vanguard is typically run by any datasmith present and is composed typically of kastalean units and kataphron servitors. The Purgation Maniple, after Omega Bellerov-1.0’s REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED
The Purgation Maniple, is led by a Manipulus not a Magos Dominus under any circumstances. The Scout Maniple is led by autonomous Serybus and Sicariian Units.
Further the First Explorator Fleet itself contains is known to contain two Ark Mechanicii, the Sigilite’s Anger and Deimos’s Cog, and at least three Metallica class Factory Ships which allow it to maintain base levels of self sufficiency in prolonged void operations. In addition the First Explorator Fleet was accompanied by the battle barge of the Ironsong Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, a flotilla of the Imperial Navy lead by Admiral Ezekiel Bendavid from Terra’s Pride, and a collection of Deimosian Knight houses.
This lecture on the First Deimos Explorator Fleet REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED and REDACTED REDACTED
REDACTED REDACTED. Omnissiah bless and preserve you.
<<<TRANSMISSION ENDS>>>
Well. That was most informative. Further search will be needed to determine how much of Magos-Historia Esther-Mendeelvee ∆12.56π's work is correct. Tracking the history and trail of the First Exploratory Fleet before it went to REDACTED will hopefully be less laborious if records are similarly kept. Unclear as of yet what audience Magos-Historia Esther was writing for, next avenue of investigation will be interrogating them tomorrow. Will be sending word to investigate Erophant III, which is located within the Imperium Nihilius. Reports of the fleet's activity have kept circling in from the Imperium Nihilius which does at least suggest they are still active.
Praise the God-Emperor-Omnissiah
Inquisitor Seraph Seraphdottior signing off.

Marshal and Mechsapient
A Follow up to my previous writing about my warhammer army.
Mechasapient-Magos Tsephor-10.54 was never very popular amongst even the inhuman adepts of the Adeptus Mechanicus. From the still human new adepts that he sometimes taught religious ritual to the highly mechanized Magi and Dominii that lead the Mechanicus, there seemed a consensus was unilaterally reached, that he was odd even by their standards. That suited him just him. It meant more often than not he was left alone either on the roosts in Deimos or aboard whatever crusading ship he was taken abroad by, and that was just a great place where he could take care of his pteraxii. They were always such good birds and he wanted to make sure they had been taken care of so well. Pteraxii were after all good omens and this had led him into taking the role of a lexmechanic, when away from his precious birds, Tsephor had taken to the role of a lexmechanic, analysis the vast reams of data of both the movements of pteraxii but also the prophetic datalooms. The way the numbers and statistics often feel into place was pleasing.
When put on a diplomatic assignment years ago with his close friend Magos Aleph-Gimmel, the same proved true of other Imperial delegations, though the terms cogboy and oilsniffer had been thrown around more liberally. At least there he understood vaguely why most people seemed to be displeased or ill at ease in his presence! The common subjects of the Imperium were unenlightened in the mysterious and glories of the mechanicus, though similar to his old friend Magos Aleph-Gimmel in order to play the role of diplomat better, outward augmentations had been kept to a minimum. It still didn't seem to work for him as much as it did her though she had studied the science of charisma in a way that he had never really thought of doing. Pteraxiiken was much more important. The lack of augmentations ended then, after all it was important to have roosting pools for the razor sharp claws of his precious birds and mechandrites for refueling their flamers!
But at least here now on the First Deimos Explorator Fleet he was thankfully left alone and enough of his fellow tech priests didn't really seem to mind anymore! In order to take care of the pteraxii, those winged skitarii whose brains had been reduced to embarrassables a solitary part of the fleet’s head Ark Mechanicus, with enough facilities and resources to replenish any losses to his precious birds though he would never let that happen!
It was here within the roost of the pteraxii that he could be often found and was found. Walking with the lack of fear a skitarii marshall should have Kattal-42/8 strode unbothered through the twitching and well oiled skitarii. The marshall barely had any human components left in it. It was far more machine than the guardsman it had once been, raised to perfection by the Fabricator Minoris. Necrodermis and wraithbone crisscrossed underneath human made alloys, circuit, and tubing for synthetic blood, leaving whatever flesh remained gaunt and starved of touch. If Kattal-42/8 had preferences for their body, this would be exactly how it would want it. The remaining flesh supported by a vast network of technology while they served ever for the glory of the emperor. The stolen spirit stone within its chest plating had saved its life in battle more than once. Its body even had a built-in respirator similar to its old guard uniform.
Kattal marched forward as silent as could be towards the rotund Tsephor. From the noosphereic implants in Kattal-48/2’s eyes it could see his data signature in the moving mass of pteraxii. It was there that they were needed and there it would go. Kattal-42/8 served as the Vox of the Fabricator Minoris, being the only other techpriest allowed the key to her unique voxbox code and replicate her voice. Kattal approached Magos Tsephor and waited. Approximately 32.6 seconds was standard to wait when dealing with Magi to allow them to notice its presence and then terminate whatever they were doing. At approximately 33.1 seconds Magos Tsephor had not seemed to notice Kattal. Kattal-42/8 could not get annoyed. They had chosen to request the part of their brain responsible for that removed.
Still. Something disapproving at this inefficiency at being noticed was rising within Kattal-42/8. “Mechasapient-Magos Tsephor-10.54,” Using the voxcode of her personal prophet and superior the Fabricator Minoris, was sure to get the magos’s attention.
Magos Tsephor, a smile upon the half of his head that was still that brown skinned flesh, turned, “Ah! Aleph, it is a pleasure,” Though upon fully taking in who had been set here to summon him, his smile turned into more of a frown. “Marshall Kattal-42/8, I thought we had talked about using my old friend's voice!” Kattal-42/8’s limited social interaction software wired into motion. The cogitators normally reversed for battle or finding ways of limiting sound transmitted struggled to process this. Tsephor was obviously talking in a friendly tone with it, unusual, but reminding it of the last time they had been used to summon it. The generative programs in its software provided the following response. “Yes. The memory exists within my memecore. However it is still within my parameters to provide messages from Fabricator Minoris Technoarchaeologist Magos Aleph-Gimmel Bellerov-2.0.” This was all said within the borrowed voxbox code.
How people ever put up with Kattal-42/8 and yet found Tsephor strange to be around was always something that deeply made his mind blank out in confusion. He used to joke it was a bluescreen moment, referencing the ancient technogenie from Old Terra. “Yes, yes, Kattal, now Marshal what is the message?”
Finally. Kattal could deliver the message that was untrusted to be sent over the noosphere. Kattal, admittedly, itself did not know what the message was either. After a moment of ensuring they absolutely had the correct recipient, Kattal unzipped the message and let it play. Aleph-Gimmel’s soft voice streamed out from Kattal’s form.
“Tsephor. An inquisitor is onboard. She will be conducting a sweep, come to my quarters, please give a numerical-prophecy about the status of what the likely outcomes.”
Both adherents of the Cult of the Mechanicus stared at each other for a moment. Neither was truly comfortable in the presence of the other. Tsephor was the first to speak, “Well, Kattal, it seems you ought to guide me back no?” That jolly honest smile was back upon his remaining lip.
Kattal just stared unblinking with its green augmented eyes. “Querry: why? This does not seem the most efficient route.”
“Well,” Tsephor gestured around with his many many mecandrites to the Roost around him. “It wouldn’t do if something would happen to me on the way up would it? Her quarters are many many clicks away aren’t they?”
Kattal, if they ahd the ability, would feel incensed at the implication their ship was anything less than safe. “Safety not a concern. Skitarii and sicarian patrols regularly all levels of the ship.” “Well, what if the Inquistor should find me or delay me! Marshall, I trust your patrols but…”
“Are you suggesting Inquisitor Seraphsdottir’s loyalty to the Emperor and the Omnissiah is questionable?” “I would never dare put a Inquisitor in such a… position but! It might slow us down, no?” Tsephor honestly had never once considered that. He just wanted to move as fast as possible and following behind Kattal would ensure everyone else onboard Deimos’s Cog parted around them. That was not something Kattal would argue. The two after a little more deliberation they began the journey through the kilometers long spaceship. Magos Tsephor was sure to give all his birds reassurance he would be back as soon as he could with fresh promethium.
