"So, you must play the part, Cameron. Once you're in, look for a way you can smartly move the conversation toward your true intentions, but wait till he's comfortable. Not before. That's very important."

"Can't I just…be honest? You make him sound like a murderer."

"Cameron, listen to me. This is the best plan of action. Do not deviate."

Cam gulped. "OK, I will. So, I'm an artist. I can play that part, right?"

"Hmm, I may need to pump you with some art intel to make it not so obvious you're not an artist." Albert considered.

As Albert briefed him on everything he needed to know, Cameron began to worry that maybe he was in over his head. But there was no turning back now. The face of Vexus Inc., mysteriously known as Mr. V, was his best chance at refining Alphie to be the helper bot she was meant to be.

Dre and he had invited the Lees on their trip to Windenburg, but they had to decline as they were undergoing hefty last ditch IVF and surrogacy trials.

But lucky for them, after a long journey of setbacks, and disappointments. Finally, finally, they got what they were after.

"Here she is!" Albert showed off his bouncing baby girl, "Her name is Leila. Isn't she beautiful?"

"She's gorgeous, Albert. I'm so happy for you!"

"You know, Meredith cried when the doctor told her the IVF took. We were days a way from giving in and trying surrogacy when he told us. I couldn't help it. I cried right along with her. We waited so long for this. It's such a miracle." Albert gazed lovingly down at his child.

"Yes, truly amazing, but uh..." Cam struggled to find an segue.

"But I'm talking your ear off about my baby when you need my help with something, right?"

"I'm sorry, Albert. I don't mean to be callous."

"Not callous at all, I could proud papa till you're old and tired!"

"So? What can I help you with?"

"Well, this might be a long shot, but I know you're steeped in the art world with sellers and collectors, so I was wondering if this name means anything to you. Vexus Inc?"

"Vexus Inc? Whatever would you need from an entity like that?"

"So, you've heard of them?"

"I have. Coincidentally, I had dealings with them recently. But that doesn't explain what you might want with them. Cam, you're not in money trouble are you?"

"Money trouble? No way! But Vexus Inc, I have to know who they are. My work depends on it."

After Cam explained his interest in Vexus Inc. to Albert, he joined him in his study as Albert used his connections to dig up more information.

"It's intersting you found him in notes for tech because the man behind Vexus Inc. is very well known in the underground art world."

"You see, he has an interest in particular pieces you can't get anywhere else."

"I don't think I understand."

"It's best you don't, Cameron. Let's just say there's a side of my art curating that's lucrative, but not quite as legitimate as other venues."

"Listen, Cameron, I need you to be up front with me. Is contacting the man behind Vexus Inc. absolutely necessary? The fact of the matter is, he's what one might call unscrupulous. He's very secretive. And there are awful rumors behind what he's capable of."

"He's not a man I'd ever connect you with on purpose. You're kind, decent, you have a family, Cameron—"

"Look, Albert, I'm not sure why he's mostly known in the art world, but I have to connect with him. My helper bots, there my life's work. His expertise is the missing piece."

"I've been living and breathing mechanical engineering for the better part of a decade. This guy, his notes, they're brilliant, and I know if I just could pick his brain, I could refine my prototype to truly be what I envisioned. There's no other way. I have to meet him."
