Hey could some of my followers do me a huge favour and report this TikTok? It is specifically made targeting me and my server and spreading lies and generally just being. Horrendous. The owner of the account, Aspen, got banned from my server not for “saying hi” but for being who they are and encouraging what they do. As you can see in this ban log and ticket, we banned them for allowing our blacklist to be posted in their server and made fun of. all of the blacklist is either common triggers or staff specific ones, and they proceeded to make fun of not only my own but many of my friends triggers. Frankly if they just DMd me and asked why it was a trigger I’d be happy to traumadump since they apparently wanna hear about it so bad but… alas. They decided to just be a dick instead.

They also call us a Syscord. We aren’t even a system discord. We just happen to HAVE a lot of systems. First and foremost our server is a fan server for my content, that is all.

They also have done some other horrendous behaviour like say the boycotts are bullshit and just blatantly being shitty about psychotic triggers

Overall, they just fucking suck! They do all of this under the guise of being “pro recovery” while actively making fun of peoples triggers. Exposure therapy is meant to be done with a therapist, and spoilering shit in our own discord is not “anti recovery”.

Overall aspen is a fucking garbage person and I think you should avoid them and their content but that’s not the point of the post. If possible I’d like you to just report their TikTok [here] and otherwise not engage with them lest you also be a target.

The 9 Lokean Virtues

I mean, every religion has some form of virtues, morals, ethics, or even rules to standby, respect and follow right? We so does paganism, and when you look at them all, they’re all in a way similar to each other. Today We’ll be diving into the 9 Lokean Virtues, and how you can implement them into your daily life cause boy I could be doing better to. Please get comfy, grab your favorite drink and snack and grab your pet and lets get into it.

Located in Pagan Portals-Loki, he lists the 9 virtues towards the back of the book. So here they are as listed in order from the book

Truth: Be real. Be true to yourself and allow others to follow their own truth.

Humor: Learn to find the humor in things, especially in yourself.

Humility: If you need to tie your balls to a goat to accomplish your goals, suck it up buttercup.

Cunning: Try to think outside the box. Don’t make a mess so big that you can’t find your way out of it.

Transformation: Don’t be afraid of change, because that’s how we grow. Don’t be afraid of self-examination and listen to constructive criticism.

Creativity: Creat awesome stuff. Try new things out. If you don’t like it blow it up and try again.

Accountability: You are the only one in control of your destiny, your own life, your own actions

Empathy: Try to see things from more than one perspective. Shape-shift into someone else’s shoes before you pass judgement.

Experimentation: A mistake is only a mistake if you do it twice. Until then, everything is an experiment.

Implementation

So now that we know about these virtues, how can we implement them into our lives?

Truth: We can start be learning that we can’t control everything. Ever heard of the phrase you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink? This means that you can lead, guide your friend, significant other, parent, sibling, co worker etc to the truth, but they need to open up to the truth and learn to except it on their own time and terms. We also need to learn how to accept the truth within ourselves; will it hurt? Probably, but you will hurt even more if you allow yourself to be trapped within ignorance’s bliss and the lies you refuse to accept. You can start to accept the truth, whatever it may be to you is by perhaps journaling the thoughts down or doing one of those shadow work journals you see blowing up on tiktok or meditate or you can even seek out mental health resources to get another perspective if you can afford it or have the resources readily available.

Humor: Laughter is the best medicine! Ever since I went through the worst few weeks of my life, I’ve grown attached to Cold Ones, with Anything4views and Maxmoefoe. The editing and the humor has kept me sane through the tears and anxiety episodes as their goofiness and the money they spend on Fiverr is absolute gold. Some people may not like Cold Ones and thats okay. Other things that can help make you laugh are memes and or recalling a funny story/memory or just going out with your friends, family, s/o or pet and make funny and good memories.

Humility: This is a tough one even for me as I like to take the easy way out from the difficult challenges. I currently work at a job with the most incompetent people as bosses; I wish I was joking. But I’m only there until May of next year and I can kiss that. Place good bye. For good. I’ve looked for other jobs, but alas I need something that ties into my major and unfortunately the shitshow I’m currently employed at fights right into that space. Sometimes we do need to tie our balls to that goat; it may suck, but hey, the goal is to be able to negotiate a higher rate of pay to save up for a house. This musst be done no matter how much I hate it. But don’t do this. Until it destroys your mental health, so be sure to take care of yourself.

Cunning: I have to do this w/ my clients and work. Sometimes clients can be difficult to work with especially if they’re minors. If I need them to do their chores, I if they don’t want to do it, I ask them to double check and see if their chore is truly complete. They go on ahead and do it and usually they’ll find something to tackle. To be cunning is to utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills in unique ways! Perhaps take an alternate route, instead of replacing that broken vase, find a way to repair it and incorporate art.

Transformation: The tower moment if you will, this one hurt me the most a few times, especially when it came down to my mental health. This one was a big vibe check, but I managed to get through it and ended up loving the changes that occurred. For this, I suggest having a really strong support system, and having healthy coping skills as some of the transformation periods can be painful, and trust me, they will hurt. Or not, it all depends on the person and their situation. For me and my anxiety, if I don’t know what the process is, i freak out and get really scared and anxious. So I try to research the topic depending on what it is like a medical procedure or getting my bloodwork done. That way if I know what to expect, I have no reason to worry about it. However this doesn’t always work for other people. You can learn to embrace the transformation by utilizing positive coping skills, getting enough rest, self care, and brain dumping into a jorunal. Or sketch book, or even watching something inspirational or someone going through the same thing and how they made it through their situation.

Creativity: Already in the name and kinda like cunning, utilize creativity. Nurture it, make it your own; it doesn’t have to be aesthetically pleasing or expensive. As long as you like whatever it is you’re doing. Without hurting people or animals or yourself of course. Whatever you’re into, please make it your own. With our hurting animals, people or yourself.

Accountability: This one also hurts but it’s mandatory in my opinion to learn to handle criticism and learn to own up to your mistakes. If you cut someone in line and you’re at fault, accept it. Don’t try to cover it up or run from it, i’ve seen people explain their crap away without thinking about accepting their role in things. The more you run from your mistakes, it will send you down a path of cowardice. You can learn this skill by perhaps rehearsing in a mirror or role playing, help yourself ease into it!

Empathy: This one can be draining, as some people thrive on this sort of attention. When practicing empathy, you really want to be protective of. Your boundaries and energy as there are people, as mentioned, live on this. Remember, it’s free to be kind to others, it’s expensive to be mean to others. Just remember to set boundaries!

Experimentation: Don’t be afraid to fail and try again. Keep trying, even if you need youtube tutorials, tutoring, or just an extra brain and set of hands. Don’t be afraid to keep trying until you get it right and it meets your standards. Until then don’t give up and don’t let anyone tear you down and stop you from success. Don’t be afraid to block people or cut people off if they say otherwise. It’s okay to experiment with things, sexuality, hobbies or whatever you want to try!

Writing this in a lecture was not in this evening’s plans but here I am. The ADHD is ADHDing tonight! Anyways, I hope you guys got some sort of positive vibes or ideas on how to implement the virtues. Or at the very least the strength to do or say something, no matter how anxious or scared you are. a recreation of a sonic fanfiction i wrote when i was 10

ok y'all, some context is needed.

we have a song called cassiopeia coming out tonight. i made a tiktok that said if the sound for cassiopeia is used 100 times, i'll publish the sonic fanfiction i wrote when i was 10 that i joke about a lot but have never shared. anyway, this happened in an hour. i am shocked. i did not expect it to happen so quickly, if at all. i begin my search.

well, it turns out i can't publish it because the places it was published no longer exist, and 10 y/o me didn't back it up (although i thought i had). bummer. an early internet relic gone.

either way, the plot details are seared into my memory because honestly? for some reason, that small act of creativity was a core memory in my life. so while i can't share it, i can retell it, because it's silly and pretty accurately captures what it's like to be 10 and obsessed with a piece of popular media. so here goes.

SCENE OPENS

the fanfiction was about a page long. the story opens with me - in school, as i did most every day of my life up to that point. in the story, sonic/tails/knuckles live in the human world, and essentially function as superheroes. there's no explanation for it, they just are there keeping the earth safe and such. we are also friends. there is no explanation or backstory for that either.

with the setting established, we're straight into the action; an alien pod crash lands in our school playground after school. me and my friend are the only kids left. where are the teachers? who knows. as is evident, worldbuilding was not my strong point.

anyway, in this alien pod is...an alien. it was a spider that looked a lot like the facehuggers from the alien film franchise, because i'd seen a clip of that as a kid and it freaked the hell out of me. i call sonic (where did i get a mobile phone from?) and let him know something Serious is going down. sonic and tails arrive - knuckles is too busy trying to get the master emerald back from doctor robotnik in this instance.

my friend and i take a back seat and let sonic and tails deal with the weird alien thing. they deal with one, but as soon as they get rid of it 10 other capsules drop in the area. sonic and tails can't take them all, so me and my friend join in to help take them out. i didn't really account for how, but we're fighting all back to back and it's very epic. (sonic x was the prevailing sonic show at the time, and it was y'know - very dramatic. so this was like a scene from that.) tails even brings in the tornado two, his personal plane, to run rings around them. after we finish the final facehugger alien off, a final alien pod descends. but out of this pod emerges...

the aliens had been sent by him, and he was here to take sonic down. this was all part of his master plan.

the piece then ended, because i suppose i was going to follow it up at some point. but alas, that did not happen.

moral(s) of the story:

archive the silly stuff you wrote when you were a kid, it'll be fun to look back on later.

Spiderman Talk: Jameson is right, and Peter deserves better

So I was listening to a text post on tiktok that I love about how Jameson is in fact a great person and really only has beef with Spiderman because of personal problems, and first off, that's blatantly wrong, which the post corrects, but it got me thinking about something interesting. I would love to see a Spiderman story called Spiderman for the Daily Bugle, in which Jameson has gone to therapy to address his well of trauma related to the death of his wife (for those who aren't aware, she is canonically killed by a masked assailant) so that he can finally get past his initial trauma response when he sees Spiderman in his mask (that absolutely looks like a balaclava worn by a robber) and makes a non-public spectacle offer to meet with Spiderman so he can actually talk with him to express his legitimate problems with him (this would technically be the first time they have done this, since the previous occurrence has been retconned to memory). When Peter shows up in costume, Jameson sits him down, and rather than yelling, being angry, and bashing on him, he approaches him as a journalist and asks him a series of questions that are designed to get serious responses out of him. Questions like "Why do you wear a full body suit that hides your full identity?" Which Peter obviously responds to with "To protect my loved ones from harm." Jameson acknowledges that this is a legitimate concern, but also points out that even showing part of his face would allow him to be more of a symbol just based on the reality that he is clearly a white man in America, and therefore should be using his privilege and notoriety to support larger causes (not so small reminder that JJ is a very liberal person who supports workers rights, is pro-mutant/enhanced, and was not only writing about the civil rights movements, but was actively a part of it, ala he definitely marched with Dr. King on Washington as a cub reporter) . These kinds of questions continue, where Jameson asks things, Peter responds honestly, and Jameson acknowledges his concerns, but also points out the real problems that Peter causes by using his current methods (again, I can't stress enough that Jameson has legitimate problems that should be understood). The key takeaways for Peter are:

Hiding his identity from his family and friends has legitimate detriment to his mental health and relationships, and he should tell the people he cares most about so that they can finally understand who he is wholly and support him.

Hiding his identity from the public should not separate him from accountability to his actions during his fights against supervillains, and he should create a means to help people who have been harmed by his own actions both intentional and unintentional.

It is not his job alone to respond to crime, or to shoulder the burden of being the "Hero of New York" and he should not need to sacrifice his own happiness and well being in order to uphold his belief. This includes a moment where Jameson points out that "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility, both to others as well as oneself."

Peter has talents outside of being Spiderman that he should absolutely be using for the betterment of others, which does not solely include his capabilities as a scientist or engineer. Jameson points out that a large part of the problems that cause crime have direct and indirect causes, and that Spiderman, as a private citizen who is empowered, has a greater capability than most to address not only the crimes that regular people can't engage with, but also the crimes that could be solved by doing proper leg work and investigation.

This culminates in the big reveal to Jameson that Peter is Spiderman. Peter breaks down over the interview, because this hits him in a spot that hurts him the most, his hero complex, and he begs Jameson not to hate him, to which Jameson, now realizing who he's been going after this whole time, acknowledges that while he was definitely mad at Peter, he could never hate him, because he knows, especially now that he sees who he really is, that Peter is an amazing man. Hugs and heartfelt words are exchanged.

Now by comparison to the original version that occurred, this would be the point where the story ends, BUT I SAY NAY! THERE IS SUCH A MISSED CHANCE THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN! Cut to a few months later, and Peter is thwipping through downtown, when he hears a loud commotion, and swings over to investigate. The Rhino is smashing his way into a bank vault while a few thugs with guns stand lookout. Peter pops in, quickly takes down the thugs, and then squares up to Rhino and shouts "Hey Rhino, Spiderman for the Bugle. I'm here to get your comment. What got you back into the game of robbing banks?" They go through what looks like the usual dance of Peter dodging and quipping to all of Aleksi's attacks, until Peter backs off and says "Hey Aleksi, do you know what the best part of having a full time job is?" Aleksi grunts his usual response and Peter gives him a thumbs up, where you can see a flashing button on the side of his index finger, which he presses as he says "Gadget money." and triggers the series of web mines he planted around Aleksi while he was dodging his attacks. As Peter swings away, he calls in to advise Damage Control about the damage to the building and SHIELD to pick up the Rhino and check on bystanders.

This would be the start of a story in which you get to see what a healthy, happy, and more fulfilled version of Spiderman looks like. No more of this malnourished permanently tardy half formed Peter, but one in which his family knows about his hero identity, he has a full time job as a journalist working the crime beat as Spiderman, and also writes additional articles as the science and technology editor for the Bugle, and has the full support of Jameson and the Bugle backing him as a hero. He still has to face the struggles of being Spiderman and Peter, including the challenges of being a parent, but now part of that balance comes from finding time to organize PTA meetings with MJ for Mayday. Aunt May knows that Peter is Spidey, and is incredibly proud of him, especially now that he's learning balance, something that she hoped for him. His relationship with characters like Daredevil and The Avengers is one that includes more professional courtesy and even sharing the burden of caring for New York, rather than just trying to uphold everything on his own. Peter does convince Jameson to keep his original costume, including the full face mask, but that is solely because of branding, and now he can actively use his persona as Spiderman in more than just a limited capacity, because "Shockingly" people would love to support their local hero, and spidey merch sells like crazy thanks to the Spiderman Store on the main floor of the Bugle. Peter has a secret headquarters that is based out of his co-op in Queens, which allows him to be an active parent for his kids while also living up to his role as a hero.

For those of you who feel like this sounds to "Mary Sue" I'd also like to point out that a) Peter still has logistical challenges that present legitimate dangers as a public hero in needing to protect his identity for the safety of others, and while that has been challenged by being a public hero, you can see how he responds to those dangers, and b) this gives us a chance to see Peter working at solving crimes and working within society rather than as an outside force, which makes him a better hero.

Lastly, consider the stories you could write with people like Matt Murdock, not just as Daredevil, but as the official legal rep of Spiderman. Matt gets to be put on retainer by a major corporation (Bugle Media is a pretty major leader in the news industry) and you can also have that paralleled with a Daredevil/Spiderman story in which you get to see what a hero who operated like old Spidey vs New Spidey looks like, and how those challenges differ. Also, B roll type stories with Deadpool coming after Peter for exposing a story about a major tech conglomerate, and Wade finds out Peters identity, which changes their dynamic entirely. Similar stories about how Spidey and Punisher clash, and Peter, after having gone through the challenges of being a legitimate hero finally responds to Punishers tired line of being tough on crime by pointing out that he's not actually solving crime, simply attacking one of the symptoms, and is then able to start writing stories about Frank that helps humanize him not as the deranged serial killer that most people see him as, but as a misguided mentally ill man trying to right the wrongs he perceives in the world.

What I'm trying to get at is this. Peter Parker is pretty constantly miserable, and in my opinion, a lot of the people that write him, create positive things in his life so that they can rip those things away later on down their story line to compel him to act, and I really don't think that's all that interesting personally. As a fan of Spiderman stories, there is not a lot of hope that Peter can be happy, because whenever he does get something positive, it's either retconned or ripped from his hands in a horrific and terrible way for what I would call unbelievably unnecessary character development that isn't actually developing his character. There's a somewhat popular fan comic of Spidey meeting The Joker, and after Peter talks with Joker for a while about half of the shit that has happened in his life, Joker basically has a crisis of belief in his own ideology of "One bad day is all it takes" because Peter has gone through so much and still chooses the righteous path. Letting Peter be happy for once in his life would probably generate revenue just on long term fans speculating when and how things are going to go downhill. Changing the makeup of his base character, especially this far into the game when he has existed as a hero for so long would create way better stories, because in all seriousness, giving Peter more happiness also means there is so much more to protect/lose, and losing part of that would absolutely still hit hard. I've only really scratched the surface of ideas that I, a lone writer, has about what could be done with a change like this.

There are so many ways in which you could use his character, and present him challenges that actually provide character development, instead of hate fucking the corpse of his stories with a bloody knife. Peter doesn't need a reason to act that involves taking that small amount of happiness in his life and ripping it away because his core belief is that he has a responsibility to act because he has the power to do so, and in my opinion, forcing him to go through unimaginable sorrow does not showcase that character trait at all. If you're taking something from your hero when their primary motivation is supposed to be their inherent belief that they as someone with power has the responsibility to act in the benefit of those without, then you're taking away their primary motivation and replacing it with a selfish motivation. It's not to say that Peter shouldn't lose things, but he should lose those things based on his own decisions, not just because the predisposed outcome of his life should be inherently negative.

This post ended up being way longer than I had initially intended, but I want to end with this. There are some truly great characters that I personally think could be better written given the opportunity. I don't even necessarily think the stories that we have of Spiderman are actually all that bad (Except for One More Day. Fuck that story specifically and the horse it rode in on, it's fucking terrible) and that history shouldn't be ignored. But I think if we as fans and creators come together, there are opportunities for us to change things for the better. There are chances for us to show what a good and happy ending can look like for Peter, and maybe, just maybe, he can keep that small bit of happiness that he's got going for him.

Okay seriously.. Tiktok discussions are making mad and made me realise a few things.

I've tried to get the first interaction between Stolas and Blitz wrapped around my head.

And I know a lot of people blame Stolas for not being good enough at taking accountability for his actions and being "the victim" or whatever this episode but he literally couldn't do much more atm.

He's naive and oblivious to a fault, reading other people is hard for him and he misses a lot of shit. Blitz confronting him at Ozzies set in motion a journey for him to make it right.

But.. He doesn't know every problem between them yet. He doesn't know the full extent of how Blitz feels. And can't start making amends for that until he knows.

Blitz tho, is doing as much as he can to keep Stolas away from the inner parts of his built up walls. He's actively pushing him back and keeping his feelings guarded. And Stolas.. Who is an absolut novice at feelings like this. Can't really do much more about it atm.

Blitz coming in there, trying at first to see if they can just go back to the sex part. It was safe and he liked it.. Stolas is done with keeping it shallow, pushes back.

Then Blitz tries to provoke him into showing his "true colours" as a prince who looks down on him. Cus at least then, he could have an excuse to not want to get involved anymore and keep this attachment to Stolas.

But alas, Stolas continues to be as honest as he can be. Pushes back and forces Blitz to deal with himself. He's met with a wall this time that he can't break.. So.. Self-discovery is it.. As disgusting as that is to Blitz. Cus at the end of the day, he cares about Stolas whether he wants to or not.

I feel like.. Whatever Stolas would've done here wouldn't have helped.. Cus Blitz wasn't really there to have a heart to heart. He was there to justify his own self-destruction.

So Stolas doing what he was doing was honestly the best course of action at the time. Don't worry, I'm certain Stolas is gonna continue getting reality checks further down the line.. But he's not the only one who needs them in this relationship.

Every time I subconsciously start to minimize the scale at which men hate women I remember when I went semi viral on tiktok for pointing out disgusting, misogynistic comments on a video. This sick fuck saw a video of a woman showing her ex emotionally abusing her and accusing her of cheating for simply interacting with her friend’s boyfriend. He then decided to take that audio and make it seem as though this was his brother’s “cheating girlfriend”. The audio which is now gone was fucking terrifying. And how you could see it as anything but an abusive situation is beyond me. But males were in the comments laughing at and mocking her. RELATING to the guy. It was beyond me

So I make a video highlighting how reprehensible all of this is. How it truly encapsulates how little men care about female victims, all while women constantly advocate for male victims and their “double standards”. I truly wasn’t expecting this to blow up in any capacity. I literally made an account specifically for the post that same day but alas the algorithm did its thing. At first it was mostly women who were talking about how disgusting the comments and audio were. Talking about their own experiences as well. Then I got an influx of males. Ranging from the good ol devils advocate to the clearly does not comprehend what’s going on at all. They were essentially doing the same things. Spewing misogyny, spreading misinformation that this woman cheated, or victim blaming because why didn’t she leave (she did). This was SO many men's reaction to me simply showing what other men were saying in regards to a woman being abused. And how another man saw a video of a woman being abused and decided to use the sound and pretend as though it was a made up scenario where she deserved it. And the logical gender who swears up and down that they wanna hear both sides and get the full context didn't even look and see that the account that had posted the video had a different pfp than the one of the original sound so it was obviously not his video.

I've mentioned this before but the patriarchy relies so heavily on women's suspension of belief that men collectively hate them. That it's truly a few bad apples and that all those bad apples are socially inept, ugly basement dwelling losers who we would never even glance at twice. In a vast orchard full of shiny apples who are attractive, chivalrous prince charmings. When in reality, there is no one set way a misogynist looks or acts And when I got all of these dms full of men showing their unabashed hatred of women and rage at me for showcasing that. It showed me that it has not and will never be a few. And men have absolutely no problem showing that. It's insane how I see women constantly policing other women over the most asinine shit (like being rude to a moid) because it makes women in general look bad. And is going to make more men hate women (as if they don't already). Meanwhile men quite literally could not give less of a fuck. They will be so outward and passionate about their hatred of women, especially online. They have no problem harassing women and subjecting them to misogyny. They don't, not even once, think about how that could make women resent men. And sadly they mostly don't have anything to worry about because so many women are so male obsessed that they will see and experience onslaught misogyny everyday. The Tumblr Files

Tumblr has a habit of disappearing blogs that it seems to find objectionable. Alas, if only they were full of reactionary content they'd probably have been allowed to stay, but instead they're Leftists of various stripes, which makes them uncomfortable for the owners of Tumblr at best and dangerous at worst.

Regardless of what you think of Musk's purchase of Twitter, one good thing that came out of it was the release of the Twitter Files. Therein we learned of just how closely social media companies like Facebook and Twitter have integrated with the US government and its spying agencies.

Does the FBI have a direct line to TumblrHQ? I can't say for certain. I haven't seen any evidence of it yet, but Tumblr is a massive platform with a lot of reach. Its size alone makes it a prime target for surveillance if only because were the community left to its own devices it might start to develop its own ideas about how the world worked contrary to the bourgeois narrative, or what the US government currently calls "misinformation."

Some things to consider:

First, in the wake of the Democrats' 2016 presidential loss, the Professional-Managerial Class which make up its primary constituencies freaked out. The development of Russiagate was the response. This wasn't just about Trump winning the presidency though. The source of bourgeois terror was that the internet was an unregulated source of information, and people were starting to get the "wrong" ideas, as evidenced by Bernie Sanders immense popularity at the time, and Trump's victory.

Second, Russiagate triggered a concerted spy agency response to root out basically nonexistent "Russian influence" on social media "promoting misinformation." Pressure was put onto SM companies to "do something about Russian election meddling." Twitter's internal research found that there was basically nothing of the kind. This was the wrong answer, so Twitter was compelled by propaganda outlets and the threat of expensive legislation to "do something," and that something was to basically turn over its moderation process to US spy agencies.

Why is this relevant to Tumblr? Because it has a large, influential community, which alone would necessitate its surveillance if not control, but especially because Tumblr is hemorrhaging money and is failing to gain ground against its competitors.

TechCrunch reported that CEO Matt Mullenweg spilled the beans during the Q&A, which was cohosted by COO Zandy Ring and attended by a meager 800 users, despite being plastered across every Tumblr account’s dashboard. According to Mullenweg, the platform is spending $30 million more than it’s making as it tries to desperately cling to relevance in its fight against Instagram and TikTok. Moreover, COO Ring explained that the platform is not seeing much of an increase in its userbase.

“People have this impression that we have massive growth right now, and we really don’t,” Ring said during the Q&A.

None of this necessarily means that it's Langley that's getting Leftist users booted off the platform. It could merely be personal biases on the part of the staff, against transsexuals, against pro-Palestinian activists. It does seem arbitrary and capricious enough. If the goal was, say, combating antisemitism by banning pro-Palestinian users, would there be so many fascists and outright Nazis on tumblr? Why does it seem like the majority of those that get banned just happen to be on the side which opposes imperialist Western narratives?

In any case, this markedly underscores that if the Western Left wants any hope of surviving on the web, it can't rely on corporate resources to do so.

I guess I'm Back? Sorry about the breakup.

The first Tumblr account I had was in 2010. It was a place I shared a moderate amount of voice acting content via YouTube links. But overall I utilized the platform for some cosplay hobbies I was into at the time, appreciating the openness and artistic expression that was allowed. That is until 2018, when the site made a stricter content policy which got a lot of my things flagged and taken down, that frankly, weren't even nudity. Most of the images were "suggestive" or "teasing." Not soon after, one of my video posts was flagged for "adult content" because I was narrating a romance scene that used lewd language. I bounced immediately, deleting my account and moving on to greener pastures.

After a three month hospital stay, fighting for my life with Necrotizing Pancreatitis instigated by a gallstone, after surviving full septic shock, after the loss of two organs and the full function of another - I had to reprioritize my entire existence. With a new chronic illness and extremely expensive monthly medical fees, I accepted that cosplay was no longer going to be something I could continue in the way I had.

It took almost an entire year to rebuild the muscle I lost in my hospital stay, where I was on a feeding tube and bed ridden most of the time. It took a entire year to grow back my hair that had fallen out, to be able to manage my new condition of EPI and Type3C Diabetes. Unable to travel or attend conventions, unable to really spend a lot of time sewing or crafting, I dusted off my old microphone that I had used for radio ads and uttered six words on TikTok. BookTok found me, and my new chapter began.

TikTok's algorithm brought me a community of people that genuinely appreciated my voice. It was honestly the only time I have ever felt like my creativity was valued in any way. Cosplay never brought me the joy that Voice Acting has, because my voice doesn't depend on my looks or my youth.

In addition being an avid reader my whole life, having spent a majority of my childhood and young adult life in theater, it only made sense to get into the vocal booth and put my real skills to use.

But alas, it seems TikTok is now gone. And even in the event that it returns, I fear it just won't be the same. It had it's problems, all social media platforms do. But the uniqueness of the sound byte sharing on videos was the thing that helped me grow my account. I made narrations and voice traps that appealed to BookTok and MaskTok. Coplayers and Makeup Artists would lip sync to my audios and brought so much joy to others. People could request for me to make Sapphic versions of popular Male Voices and Audios. I had just started narrating the poetry and quotes of independent authors, cross promoting through my account. There wasn't an ounce of negativity in my experience. My community was diverse and wonderful.

I opened Tumblr a few weeks ago to investigate what has changed and hopefully improved since the great policing event that steered me away. And it seems that Tumblr has not only improved on it's policies but the users are just as engaging as ever. The ability to add Audio is a big plus for me.

My content is different for a platform like this, and it has never been easy to properly distribute quite in the same way as I had on TikTok. But I know there is a huge community of readers, authors, poets, and ASMR fans, that might find the occasional thing I create entertaining. So I'm going to give Tumblr another go.

What happened?

I was one of those people who said, "Let's wait and see how things will play out" when that video first came out. Now, all I have to say can be summarized as "If he wanted to, he fucking would".

Let me elaborate on my thought process:

So far, the rumors about the video died down completely. Most likely, the company took care of the issues, and legal procedures are on their way. No confirmation of the identity of the person. JK said he doesn't have a girlfriend, and he wanted to focus on work for a couple of years. And that's it. Many of us waited for something big to happen in Jikook's land in light of everything, but we basically got nothing. JK is focused on his promotions, JM is doing his things. They see each other, they are on good terms but we haven't seen anything more than that. If they really were together, considering all the noise around the video, one would expect that they, especially JK, would make sure to do something to subtly show where his affections are and Jimin's birthday was the perfect opportunity for it, but alas, nothing again.

This isn't to say JK didn't congratulate him in private. In fact, he for sure did. JM himself said all the members did, but JK didn't post anything. We know JK isn't very consistent with congratulating the members on their birthdays. He had missed many such occasions before, and it isn't a big deal. Not everything should be on social media. Still, for years, he always made an exception for Jimin, and this year, he didn't. Why?

One could also argue that JK probably did something special for JM in private, besides a quick text, but we don't actually know that. Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. From Jimin's words in his wlive, I am more inclined to think there were no special plans between the two of them. I'd wager and say each was busy through the day with his own thing, and they didn't even meet, but I could still be wrong. And yes, JK is very busy, but that doesn't really matter. When a person cares, they will find a way, especially for their partner and especially when they live in the same city. Jin did, and he is in the military ffs. And let's not forget, JM once traveled halfway through the world just to spend a few hours with JK on his birthday.

Even if I am wrong and JK actually did something for JM in private, so did all the other members, yet they still congratulated him on social media too, because they know the fans look out for it and expect it. And in the case they still hadn't done it, like with Suga, JM made sure to show what each of them did, so we would know, yet he didn't mention JK at all, other than to say he worries about him. I believe that if they really were together, no matter what, they would have done something on this day together, and we would somehow know of it, just like before in the past. All of that makes me believe there was nothing to tell or show.

All the speculations about private plans and meetings aside, I still I circle back to this question: "If JM was Jungkook's long-term partner, as people claim, would JK really not post anything, when it takes so little time, when he knows people, especially those who believe in them, are waiting for it, especially given the recent rumors about the video?". It would have been the perfect opportunity to showcase his affections for JM to the world. Given everything that recently happened, it's kind of shitty not to take this chance. Would JK be that type of boyfriend? I doubt it.

My conclusion hurts me, but it is the one that makes the most sense to me: Nothing special happened between Jikook on this day, because there is nothing more special between them. Right now, they seem to be just friends, and that's it. They love each other, they care for each other, and they have each other in their thoughts, but they are not together.

I would be more than happy to be wrong and will be the first one to admit it if new information comes up, but I won't be holding my breath.

YES ABSOLUTELY (bit of a long one again, sorry!)

Deimos, as previously stated, is the Embodiment of Human Fear - human fear specifically, being a result of rather than a wielder (as all the embodiments are really) and only coming into existence once homo sapiens became a thing (twice), but he is the fear by all accounts. Some miscellaneous stuff: 1. Essentially retired by this point in terms of his title. The Embodiments as a whole used to be a lot more 'around' per se, but the lot of them all kind of split off and humans do all the fear-mongering for him now, which is both fascinating and sad.

2. Bit of a bastard (/aff), likes to poke fun in his own eloquent way but knows when to back off. Maybe backs off a little too often, he prefers to avoid conflict when the option is available. Can and will read anyone like a picture book made for five y/o's and is a huge Shakespeare nerd (which probably has something to do with a chance encounter in London circa. 1592) 3. He's gone by countless names and forms, and the very notion of sticking to binary gender is laughable, (though he/him is the latest preference,) but 'Deimos' kind of became the default after Locke threw it at him as a nickname and it stuck 4. He's fond of referencing pop culture, (something of which Locke has no hope of ever understanding,) but it's either pop culture thats slightly too old for the current age or slightly too new. Slightly too old is self-explanatory, but what I mean by slightly too new is that since its naturally ingrained in him to pick up on the social patterns of humans, he will slightly nudge something forward in the public consciousness attuning to those patterns that will inevitably pick up in popularity because he finds it incredibly amusing. 5. Alas, he can't take credit for TikTok trends 6. Literally radiates terror to anything in a five mile radius that isn't dead. When he and Locke used to meet up in various points in history, they'd meet at around midnight to early morning as to not alert the local population, which unfortunately had the additional consequence of freaking out the local wildlife. Locke had to reason with the outraged birds that they could sing at dusk instead, saying that its just like morning but backwards. It took much convincing every time. and a hefty bribe of seeds. 7. Found the Woods a little while after he and Locke split up for the last time. To his knowledge, this vast stretch of wooded area somehow exists in several places simultaneously all over the globe while also not technically existing at all, looking at a decent map. Those that enter with good intentions exit, and those who enter without seem to blip off the face of the earth. It's usually pretty silent. And theres a big hecking house plop in the middle of it in pristine condition, looking wildly different in appearance depending on who's looking at it - so naturally he sets up camp in it and stays there for the next 300-something years 8. HAVE SOME CONCEPT ART, he does little things with his appearance every now and then for fun (colorful markings, scales, runic symbols, that sort of thing) but generally keeps up the base appearance of not quite fitting in seamlessly with reality, like a memory blurred around the edges.

He was close with another embodiment of fear early on in his existence - Phobos was moreso the reaction to fear and wasn't restricted to just humans for Some Reason. He was debating reaching out to Locke for a while before they ended up in the woods themselves- despite his own interests, he's always preferred to let them do what they wish, especially given the extenuating circumstances 11. However, these extenuating circumstances say nothing on a plethora of curious children dragging the android in to stay a while (12. he doesn't really need to eat, and he has to fashion a whole digestive system for that, but Deimos does have a fondness for sweets - pastry items, chocolate, you name it. Literally 💀 I’m pretty sure ever since I saw the first (or maybe it was the second or third idk) episode of the show I shipped JJ and Kiara.
