Character Profile: Fallyn
This profile template was originally created by @jennamoreci
The Basics
Full name: Fallyn Octavia Wolfe
Age: 21
Height:5’7”
Sex: Female
Race/Ethnicity/Culture: Elf-blooded human, Alteirian
Body type: Willowy, with lean muscle from years of weapons practice. Small breasted with narrow hips and long legs and torso.
Physical Appearance: Fallyn’s hair is naturally curly(3c/4a mix) and falls to the middle of her back when worn loose and is bone white in color. Her eyes are a bright blue, almond shaped and ringed by dark lashes under thick dark eyebrows. Fallyn’s skin is a rich golden brown; like warm honey. She has no tattoos and the only piercings she has are the ones in her ears.
Where is she from: Fallyn is from the Kingdom of Alteira, a land north of the Drakon River. She was born in the capital city in the royal palace.
Relationships
Family
Fallyn’s mother died when she was six years old, so her memories of her are few and far between. Her mother was an elven woman named Rowen Virynne(Ver-een), with whom her father defied his dying father and all his counselors to marry.
Fallyn is very close to her father, King Aygen. As her only surviving parent, each other she was all she had and she followed him about like a shadow in the wake of her mother’s death. As an adult, their bond is still deep but she is beginning to see the cracks in her father’s facade and worries about him.
Fallyn’s relationship with her step-mother, Acantha is strained. In the beginning, Acantha did try to be a mother to her, but Fallyn was resistant and clung to her father who hadn’t even wanted the match in the first place. As she grew older, the two butted heads on her behavior and whether or not it was fitting for a princess. Eventually, they settled into a cordial relationship and just stay out of each other's way.
Friends
Fallyn’s closest friend and confidant is Alanna Morley, the daughter of Lord Morley; The Warden in the West. The two shared lessons whenever her father came to the capital, and bonded over mocking their taskmaster of an instructor. Another trusted friend is her lady in waiting, Gilly Hightower. Gilly is two years older and the daughter of a minor house from the eastern part of the kingdom.
Sexy Stuff
Sexual Orientation: Straight
What is she attracted to: Physically, She’s attracted to men who are rather tall. Beautiful eyes and a nice smile also make her tingly. Fallyn enjoys men with a sense of humor, who aren’t intimidated by her position and who treat her as a person first instead of just their future Queen. Nothing turns her off more than arrogance and those who treat her like a prize to be won.
Sexual Experience: Fallyn is a virgin when the story starts. The furthest she’s gone down that road is some rather steamy makeout sessions and even then, that was only with one man. Before that, she had kissed one or two nobleman’s sons but they were quick and with a closed mouth.
Romantic Experience: The only real romantic relationship Fallyn has had by the start of the story is with Wesley Morgan, a young man in her father’s service whose persistence eventually won her heart.
Skills
Skills: Fallyn is a promising fighter, quick and sure-footed in the training yard while wielding dual daggers; though she’s yet to have to test those skills against an opponent willing to kill her. She’s a passable arch but prefers to fight up close. She has a decent grasp of herbology and other survival skills and is also good at embroidery, surprisingly enough.
Occupation/Schooling: Fallyn is the High Princess of Alteira and sole heir to the throne. As such, she’s been educated in all the things one would expect of royalty: History, Politics, Household management and the like as well as music, dance, and sewing. She was also trained in combat from the age of eight.
Hobbies: Hunting, reading, dancing, embroidery; anything that requires concentration or being active.
Personality and Character
Introvert or Extrovert: Mostly extroverted, but has her moments when she just needs to get away from it all and be alone with her thoughts.
Right Brained or Left Brained: A little of both.
Strengths: Compassionate, Dutiful, Intelligent, Loyal
Weaknesses: Will do what she feels is just and damn the consequences, bad at hiding her feelings, impulsive, naive
Goals/Dreams/Aspirations: At the start, all she wants is to be a good ruler to her people one day and marry the man she loves. After everything goes sideways, her main goals are surviving long enough to retake her kingdom.
Beliefs/Affiliations: The people of the North have a belief system that is very tied up with nature. The main gods are the Mother in the Mountains, who is said to have shaped men from the snow of the highest mountain peak, and the Sky father, who sent the wind of life into the Mother’s creations. There are also lesser gods and goddesses for specific things. Fallyn believes in the existence of the Gods, but she isn’t very devout.
Outside of this, she has a strong sense of right and wrong as well as a deep seeded belief that it is the duty of a ruler to serve them and not so much the other way around.
Fears: She’s always been afraid of not being good enough. When her father and tutors taught her all those lessons about how a monarch is the one thing standing between life a death for their subjects, she took them to heart. She’s also terrified of losing those that she cares about as well as whether or not she’s leading those that rally behind her to their deaths.
Insecurities: She’s very insecure about her skills as a leader. She was tutored and groomed for the role, but she has no experience actually leading anything.
What would she die for: Her loved ones, without a second thought, as well as her people if she thought her death would buy them a better future.
