Aurora was initially surprised by his tone, but that quickly shifted into an annoyed expression. "Really? Are we going to do this? Fine." She grumbled.

She sighed, as Klaus looked away. "It's tiring."

"We've been really worried about you... You can't keep doing this..."

"There's no reason to be out there right now. Do you not understand we're worried? Or do you just not care?" Aurora was quickly getting upset at his blatant disregard for others. "If we didn't care, why would we keep trying to talk to you? Hm?" That caused him to pause for a moment.

It was short-lived however once he remembered why he was upset at them in the first place. Klaus just huffed in annoyance, "Seriously. Stop. Stop worrying about me, everything is FINE."

Celeste happily hummed as they walked down the final hall.

It didn't take them long to finally reach the room, nervously Klaus pushed open the door. Behind it was an oddly familiar-looking sight of purple. Something about it was different however.

"Huh?"

"I was starting to get worried you had run off again."

→ Klaus, Ivy and Celeste have arrived to see Aurora!

Though he very much didn't wish to see his trainer, there was no use in avoiding it anymore. Klaus gave a defeated sigh.

Celeste happily nodded as she gestured towards the hall.

Quietly the three walked through the Library with Ivy leading the way. The silence was almost deafening, the only thing you could hear was the soft trotting of Cel's hooves along with the occasional page flipping from Ivy.

→ Klaus, Ivy and Celeste are making their way to see Aurora.

Noir only gave her a loving smile as she drifted away.

"Hopefully we can catch up soon." She gave the Sylveon one last nod before she turned her attention back towards Klaus and Celeste. It was finally time to take him to see Aurora, no more distractions.

Shapeshifting is a natural ability for me, but for you it looks like it involves some extra work and even multiple sources, like a humans’ soul. Were you human in a past life, or did you find one on your own? Is the old form of this “soul” the form you take when you change shape or did you mold it into your preferred appearance? - Hana

"But, It's still mine and It's still me. I just can't have it all of the time now. At least not forever, as much as I do miss it, being human all the time, I cheated fated, and this is my punishment. So I will accept it, Be as it may." Ivy softly sighed, despite her emotionless exterior she seemed almost... Sad? Though it didn't show for long.

"Wisteria...?" Noir called out to the mismagius seeing the face as he gulped "You are wisteria correct ?" he asked almost carefully the feeler reaching out to the ghost type giving soft caress on cheek "What happened...?" he was stunned to see the emotionless pokemon before shaking his head pulling Ivy in a gentle hug "Sorry, I didnt mean to ask so bluntly... I feel like you need this..." he chuckled softly "Im here for you, you know ?"

Ivy seemed to calm down at the Sylveon's reassuring words, she just nervously looked away and muttered a faint "I'm sorry."

She cringed as his ribbon touched her cheek, for some odd reason, the ghost was expecting something worse. Though she wasn't sure why. From what she could recall about him, Noir wasn't a cruel or mean Pokemon. Though she couldn't be sure, her memories of them were a bit hazy.

Ivy instantly backed away at the question, she looked like she was about to say something but quickly went silent. Her gaze fell to the floor as she refused to answer. Noir didn't seem to push the matter either much to her relief. However, She didn't have time to react before Noir pulled her into a loving but firm hug.

She quietly sniffled as tears began streaming down her face, it'd been so long since she cried. Years even, now that she was she couldn't seem to stop herself. As all the memories began to flood back Ivy cuddled into Noir's hug, despite the sudden emotional pain she was hit with, she was glad someone she knew from the past was here to at least soothe it.

If you enjoyed this post even slightly you have Sleepy to thank for that! They're the one that originally came up with the interaction. They were even kind enough to doodle it out then send me this ask, I just adapted it into my own style and added my own flare to it.

This post has been in the works since January of this year, I had to redraw this twice due to being unhappy with my style and the flow. I'm very pleased to finally feel confident enough to post it.

I'm also happy to say this will be the last Ivy-related ask I will be answering (for now). For those sick of Ivy, I'm sure you're very glad to hear that. I love her a lot, and I'm very annoying about it. I understand. I know you've all stuck with me this long and I'm very thankful for that, especially with my ups and downs of returning only to disappear into the void again.

I did have a majority of the "Pretender" arc drawn and sketched and ready to go but I scrapped it due to a random sudden hate for how my art style looked. I unfortunately still have a lot of confidence issues with my art that I'm trying to work through. I just want y'all to know all of your love for my art and story really helped me gain it back. Knowing people like my content brings me so much joy, I hope I can continue to share the world and story I've built with everyone here.

And also, I assure you there are only Klaus-centered posts from here on. Well... until after a certain event happens that will bring the Pretender act to a close. Then I have to drag Ivy back in, Sorry not sorry! She doesn't sit in the Main character's box for nothing. /lh You'll get to meet her granddaughter very soon along with a little gremlin cat. 🤭

Ivy! Can you do any cool tricks??

Oh looks like that ghost didn't have any cool tricks after all... "Unfortunately, I don't really have any neat tricks." Ivy gave a soft sigh, she seemed a tad disappointed for not having anything noteworthy to show. Much different from her previously uncaring Pokemon form. "All my magic spells serve a purpose and I don't think you'd really wanna see an attack or random spell. So, I can't do anything entertaining Unless you count turning into a human."

That's a good look, Ivy! And hey, getting the book up there with no hands is a trick itself, right?

"I supposed that's a pretty cool trick itself then! Floating things has to be one of the easiest things you can do with magic. It's one of the first things you learn!" "So I never really thought of it as anything interesting to look at, If you like that I'm more than happy to float things for you! Hehehe." She gave a cheerful smile before she hummed quietly in thought. "Oh! And everyone has a unique color of magic, So I guess it could be pretty entertaining to ask magic users to float things for you just to see what their magic color is!"

"Um... Uh... wait. I'm getting distracted again..." Ivy went silent before cringing, "This brain. It's distracting." She seemed almost distressed for a moment. However, a smile quickly returned to her face, albeit a nervous one. "Uhm, Well, I guess that's my cue, Sorryyy~ Maybe we can talk more later! I got things I have to do. Unfortunately, I can't stay like this forever I'd drive myself crazy. You knooowww how it is..."

She sighed, "It's exhausting."

Phil @ Ivy: You can turn into a human?! Cool! You mentioned a soul right? How'd you get it? Oh! What other magic stuff can you do!? Can you shoot fire or or make lighting?! Can you teach me?! Man it would be so cool! I can see it now! Phil: Magical Lucario Super Hero! Please say yes!

She said It quite bluntly and straight to the point. She didn't bother going into details she was more interested in Phil himself.

"I've watched other Arceus user's lives end that way. All because they got upset and went too far. Their emotions clouded their judgment and they burned their body and soul up with the sheer amount of magic Arceus gifted them. " "That thing. It doesn't care about your soul. It doesn't care if your body can't handle its magic. It's content with watching you slowly die from it."

"Knowing that your soul can be torn into shreds at any spike of emotion really makes you think about your existence. Not always in a good way." Ivy gave a sigh before returning her attention to Phil.

She quietly circled around Phil for a while inspecting him just as she did for the previous pokemon. He was very... Normal compared to them.

"If you don't die. I might teach you something 'Cool'." "October will quite like you."

Klaus didn't quite understand the instructions, or maybe he was too confused to even comprehend them, but he appreciated the help... even if he didn't admit it aloud. In the end, the Zoroark opted to take up Darla's offer as he was too much of a coward to attempt something new.

"But. When you have so many emotions going on at once. They tend to get 'muddled'. You have to pick and choose. And I would rather choose to have nothing than everything." "Too many emotions. (@askpokemoncrossover) Sai @ Ivy: A lucario in a green jumpsuit approached the ghost-type with a curious look with a bit of nervousness in his tone. "Erm... what's with the human form? I mean, sure I know some pokemon who like to play with transformation powers but uh... how do you do that?"

She was clearly disinterested, but she answered the question anyway, slowly she retrieved her strange cube colorful cube from the floor, she admittingly didn't know what it was. It however satiated her need for entertainment.

The cube softly clicked as it turned. Ivy soon had it completely scrabbled.

Instead of tormenting the Lucario further with her looming presence, she threw her cube into a murky red spin.

Ivy gave a sigh before her magic shifted into a visual example. She didn't mind re-explaining.

She gave them a look as her magic poofed away.

She had changed forms, As soon as she solidified Ivy gave a small giggle, her monotone voice completely shifted into an excited and cheerful one. She gave a friendly wink to them, holding her hands up in a playful manner.

She just as quickly returned to her previous pokemon form. Slowly she drifted away from the Lucario, she allowed herself to solidify back into a Mismagius.

"It's all just magic. Nothing special."
