Munakata: It’s quite alright. You’re just not used to drinking it.

Ran: Huh? No. I thought that, you know, I wasn’t supposed to just eat it like that.

Munakata: Apologies, it looks like I’ve forgotten to inform you about it.

Munakata: You’re supposed to eat it so that the sweetness remains in your mouth before you drink the tea.

Ran: Huh!? Really?

Munakata: Yes. I did tell you that you didn’t have to follow the procedures, but perhaps I should have emphasized that you should have done this step accordingly at least.

Ran: Will it help lessen the bitterness?

Munakata: Yes. It wouldn’t have tasted as bitter as what you just drank, at least.

Munakata: If we ever have the chance to do this again, please eat the sweet first. In fact, I strongly recommend that you do.

Ran: Alright, I’ll take note of that. And I should probably study up on tea ceremonies in the meantime.

So, for Day 17 of the event, I used one of the questions from prompt six for Akiyama from K Project! I don’t often write Scepter 4, but I hope all the fans of this character will enjoy these little headcanons 😊

What is your favourite kind of cake?

I could make the obvious Christmas cake joke here, because Akiyama prefers older women…but I’ll try to answer this more seriously, haha!

I really do think Akiyama really loves the sweetness that comes from fruit and that strawberries are among his absolute favourite fruits, so it’s no surprise that one of his favourite types of cake is strawberry shortcake.

Going along those same lines, he’s really a fan of ichigo daifuku, though he’s really picky about where he buys it from.

He’s actually really finicky period about where he buys his sweets from. He’s someone who does actually get kind of picky about his food in all aspects and he likes to think he has a refined palette, so desserts that might be a bit more cheaply made or that don’t have the right texture to him? Unacceptable.

I also think Akiyama would be a big fan of castella cake, but that’s a special treat for him. His mother would always make it to celebrate any big achievement Himori accomplished, like getting top in his year in school or getting into the military. Because he does kind of connect the cake to the feeling of accomplishment and pride, he only lets himself get it as a special treat when he feels he’s done something to be proud of or achieved something he’s been working on.

Scepter 4 asking Akiyama if his hair is naturally flashy or he purposely make it that way. It's funny cause it's seems the opposite of Benzai's smooth & silly hair that follow gravity. Or should I call it swoosh hair too like you said about Munakata's bangs?

I mean clearly there’s already an answer to this: he styles it that way to hide his demon eye. Of course everyone does wonder how Akiyama gets his hair to do that, does he use products like Fushimi presumably does or is it all natural like Munakata’s swoosh (fun fact: Munakata’s bangs are held up by hundreds of itty bitty sparkles). Especially with his hair being so different from Benzai’s, the two of them together make an interesting sight with Benzai’s perfectly straight smooth silky hair and Akiyama’s all messy and ruffled. When asked Akiyama just shrugs and smiles, Benzai says that sort of thing runs in Akiyama’s family. No one entirely believes him until Akiyama gets back one day from visiting his family, his great-grandmother was ill again so he stopped by to be sure she was doing better. They took a picture while he was there and the squad all come over to look, there’s Akiyama surrounded by a bunch of women all with their hair slightly swooshy and covering one eye. And that’s how the rumors start that Akiyama in fact comes from an entire family of MILFs (which must be why he likes them so much) and that they all have a demon eye that will kill you if you see it. Akiyama laughs at the rumors and then pretends to push up his bangs the next time he finds Hidaka looking at his phone instead of working, Hidaka goes pale and hurries to get the work before the demon eye takes him. Benzai meanwhile just watches all this and smiles calmly, the only one who knows whether Akiyama is joking or not.

Which egg carton would you join and why?^^

For day 10 of the event, I used the word ‘bonfires’ from prompt 16 for the Scepter 4 members from K Project. Just getting some practice writing for these lovelies and I hope you’ll all enjoy the headcanons!

Bonfires: Do you prefer going out or staying in on a fall evening?

For the large majority of Scepter 4, they’re going to be staying in on a fall evening kind of people. Yayoi, Zenjou, Enomoto, Kamo, Benzai, Akiyama, and Seri all would prefer to stay in on fall evenings, for the most part, and all for their own reasons.

Yayoi is someone shy, who generally prefers to stay in anyway. She’ll enjoy fall evenings best curled up with her kitty cat, a hot beverage, and a good romance novel.

Zenjou is another introvert who doesn’t often go out and about, even in warmer weather. He trains a lot of evenings, and when he isn’t training or working, he finds autumn evenings lovely to just sit outside with a hot cup of tea, looking out at the stars and the moon and meditating on things in his life.

 Enomoto is the last of the group of Scepter 4 introverts who don’t often go out on the town for evenings, no matter the season. He’s perfectly content, if he doesn’t have to work, with staying in by himself. Normally, there’s always a game he’s working on. He likes curling up and falling into some other world, playing the hero inside the game. It’s a great fantasy and he’ll have snacks nearby and lots of canned juice so that he doesn’t really have to move around too much. It’s just peaceful and relaxing and comfortable, even if he knows it’s boring to most people.

If they’re not working evenings, you can usually find Benzai and Akiyama together on chill fall evenings. They’ll talk together, as the two are quite close friends, and often play shoji and chess on those cold evenings when there’s not much to do. A hot bath and early bedtime makes up most of their fall evenings.

Both of the remaining two find fall evenings perfect for indulging in a hobby they both enjoy – cooking. Seri finds fall always puts her in the mood for baking and she’ll spend chilly evenings with a glass of wine, some good music, and time in the kitchen. She will make lots and lots of desserts, which she will of course encourage the rest of Scepter 4’s members to eat their fill of them, much to the other members chagrin.

Kamo, meanwhile, often finds the chillier fall nights make him want to retreat into the comfort and peace of the kitchen as well. His cooking is met with a lot better reactions from Scepter 4’s members.

That, of course, leaves Hidaka, Fuse, Andy, Fushimi, and Munakata as the ones who prefer to be out on fall evenings. They all enjoy doing different things on those evenings for the most part, though.

Hidaka is still a young guy and a very extroverted one. He likes to be out on dates as often as he possibly can and fall evenings leave some wonderful potential dates. Even if he’s not out on a date, he likes to hit the town, grab a bite, do some shopping, maybe go to the bar, anything to get him out of the stuffy atmosphere of work and around normal people. Andy also does this as often as he can, with the added bonus that Andy is a huge Halloween freak and he’ll spend autumn evenings trying to find all the newest Halloween decorations and displays.

Fuse, no matter the season, is someone who prefers to get a break from the workplace and atmosphere. Getting out on the town gives him some much needed time to himself and he can always find something to occupy himself. He doesn’t have many friends, but the few he does have are old friends from childhood, and he likes to get together on evenings off with them at least once every couple of weeks, catch up on each other’s lives.

Munakata and Fushimi are both people who enjoy long walks on fall evenings. Fushimi finds that he gets really antsy, restless, and uncomfortable if he has to be around people too long and unfortunately Scepter 4 is way too full of people. He needs his solitude and his time to himself to recharge and long walks help him. He might be out in a place full of people, but those people don’t want anything from him, they don’t need him to do anything, most of them won’t even speak to him, and there’s a great comfort in that for Fushimi. He likes to take walks through the busy sections of the city. Munakata, on the other hand, finds nature really peaceful and he loves the changing of the leaves. He’ll enjoy long evening walks through parks on autumn evenings.

Akiyama Himori: "Good. I'll take it then."

Munakata Reishi: "Excuse me. Fushimi-kun, Konohana-san, I want to talk with both of you, so can you two go to the head office room?"

Fushimi Saruhiko: "Alright."

Konohana Saya: "Understood."

Munakata Reishi: "Well then, I'll be waiting."

Konohana Saya: "What does he want to talk about? Since he's calling us to the office room on purpose, is it an important talk?"

Fushimi Saruhiko: "I have a bad feeling if I'm being called with you."

Konohana Saya: "Why?"

Fushimi Saruhiko: "Because, based on experience, it's not a good requirement."

Fushimi Saruhiko: "We have been told that if we didn't get a test above 180 we have to quit the club, or being forced to buy a tea."

Konohana Saya: "But maybe this time it's an important duty."

Munakata Reishi: "Actually, considering the solidarity between you two, there's an important role that I want to entrust with.

Fushimi Saruhiko: "I don't want to appear at the thing that is so embarrassing to watch."

Munakata Reishi: "This is a serious duty. We special club members are more likely to be held in fear by the general student because of our abilities."

Munakata Reishi: "This club competition talent contest is having a purpose to remove the walls between the regular students by highlighting the friendliness based on that technique."

Munakata Reishi: "In other words, it's an international goodwill competition."

Konohana Saya: "Amazing. It's an important task!"

Fushimi Saruhiko: "Don't get deceived by the sound of his words. Rather than internationally, it's just one-shot show in a school."

Munakata Reishi: "But, what I said earlier is true. This contest is the school's special program."

Fushimi Saruhiko: "There's other person who is more qualified for this, isn't it? It would be better to entrust something like this to the person who like an event."
