I saw this meme on Facebook then I drew it.(for fun.)
The original picture came from a very old Japanese's football anime "Akakichi no Eleven (1970)"

It's been a while since season 4 of Wakfu came out and since I don't really have time to do fan art except one with the Great Goddess… Anyway! Since the last episodes yesterday, I had this in mind and it made me sick not to do it so here it is x')
It's not just this meme that I made, I made one with the OAV Oropo :

"You like Krabby Patties don't you, Squidward?"
I saw this frame from a sports anime (Akakichi no Eleven) the other day and the dude's face reminded me so much of SpongeBob's smug face that I just had to draw this meme lmao.

Today in AniManga History
September 4th, 1936
Ikki Kajiwara, also known as Asao Takamori, and born Asaki Takamori, was born. Kajiwara was a legendary writer of manga, of which many received anime adaptations. Kajiwara frequently worked with different artists for his manga, but always focused on a theme of sports. Most famously he authored Ashita no Joe and Tiger Mask, about boxing and wrestling respectively. Kajiwara’s work isn’t solely about sports, but also the struggles of youth and oftern underdog type characters.
Kajiwara’s Star of the Giants (illustrated by Noboru Kawasaki) became the first sports anime, and Akakichi no Eleven (illustrated by Mitsuyoshi Sonoda) was the first soccer anime.
Kajiwara passed away in 1987.
