@thekillingmoonmoon ofc moon is the first one i think when the topic "best writers" come up, i freaking love her and everything she does its not even fair to pick one thing so im picking 3, this super passionate toji work that i re-read at an alarming frequency (which btw i consider my own personal gift). yakuza choso and yuki aka the hottest duo ever. the cherry on top is her kishibe series (just realized i gotta catch up on)

@rinhaler - luxe is def on my top 3, she comes up with very organic scenes. even if it's a simple plot she can develop it so originally. I recently read her underground fighter!sukuna and i'm still thinking about it.

@laudthingcat has the best headcanons in the jjk fandom hands down, it’s the perfect dose of hot funny and cute, pick anything from her masterlist it’s guaranteed you’ll have a good time reading it. when you moan their name in your sleep in particular gives me butterflies

@meownotgood is obviously the best aki writer out there, you can see the love for aki in their words and how they write him so well and so into character. arrival in tokyo is truly a masterpiece, they also have a +100k words series i've been wanting to read for a while but i want to rewatch chainsaw man first hehe, i'm 100% sure is fire tho.

Bait and Switch

In most of our theories, we rely on the assumption that Amadeus Gloom (aka Mooching Hobo aka the Dark Overlord) is the same person as the dark figure that Rylie sees in her dreams and who (seemingly) murder Prisma and her Colors friends.

But what if... it was not the case?

We do not know much about Amadeus’s past, besides the fact that he is an only child according to the printed version’s bonus chapter. We know he has a sketchy past, impressive shadow (and candy) powers, and that he was somehow part of what happened in the ruins. Since he’s called the dark overlord by the lemon kids, we all concluded that he and the shadowy figure from Rylie’s dream were the same person.

However, Yellow never finished her sentence, did she? Was she calling for Ama-deus? Or perhaps Ama-ryllis? We do not know! There’s still the theory that those two are one and the same, going by different names at different times. 

But a more interesting possibility is that she was calling for Amaryllis, and that the actual Amadeus was the child she carried in her arms.

Unthinkable? Well let me change your mind! 

Light and Dark

In most myths as well as popular thinking, Light and Dark are two sides of the same coin. One can not exist without the other, they depend on one another. They’re similar yet they’re opposed. This duality is often portrayed as Light and Dark being linked, with their embodiment being related to one another or having some kind of counterpart. From how much she’s glowing, to her white and gold attire, it’s kind of obvious that Prisma is the Light one. Alright, who is the Dark one if not Amadeus the Dark Overlord? 

It’s Rylie. 

Yeah you read that right.

Light and Dark are Linked. Prisma and Rylie are linked. They look like each other, but they’re two distinct individuals. 

After all, Rylie has had many “dark” foreshadowing. She has (had) the look too! Black hair, eyes that appear either black or red, powerful and mysterious magic, and a dream that keeps going back to that one moment where the Shadow Figure does something to Prisma....

Not only that, but her dreams can only be from the “perspective” of the shadow Mancer. Prisma gets eeby deebied before the end and Yellow arrives late. No one is witness to the whole event, except the perpetrator. 

The Motive(s)

With this theory, I’m also uncovering a motive for the dark figure. If Prisma and them are linked, possibly siblings or even twins, the motive can be jealousy, resentment even. Prisma was by all standards the golden child. Powerful, beloved, and offered to lead a country! She’s clad in golds and nice fabrics, while “Ama” is in rags and bandages. Kept in the shadows. It would feel unfair. What would you want then, to set things "right"?

It also adds a nice parallel of blood family feud (Prisma and "Ama") vs found family friendship (Rylie and Wallis + Harold) if they are related. 

This also explains Why Yellow wants Rylie dead! She may look like Prisma, but she isn’t. She’s her “murderer”. Yellow wants revenge! Maybe she believes it will bring back Prisma? After all, she seems trapped in Rylie’s psyche.

Speaking of, why is Prisma so nice to Rylie if what I said is true? Well that’s easy: Rylie is not her past, she’s not that dark figure. She grew up like a normal kid, perhaps under Prisma’s watch, and she just wants to live her life. Like Purple isn’t Violet, Rylie isn’t that dark figure, even if they share characteristics.

What about Amadeus?

I’ve covered who the dark figure is, if not Amadeus. That’s great, but where does Amadeus fit in then? In Midnight, he seemed to recognise the place and he swore that it would “never happen again”.

It’s a popular belief that a murderer will come back to the scene of the crime, and that’s exactly what Amadeus does in this chapter. His demeanor in this whole scene can be read as someone wracked with guilt and regrets coming back to the place of their biggest mistake, BUT it can also be read as the victim coming back to where they lost everything. He looks sad, almost nostalgic, but he’s trembling. He’s afraid. This is a place of trauma for him, no matter how you read it.

Another point is that Petunia is in the know. I’m not one to judge relationships, but it would be a pretty big deal breaker for anyone to find out your hubbie has been involved in mass murder. And left your family because he was haunted by his past. Granted, Petunia is more wild than she appears, but I still think Amadeus would need a really really solid reason for why he did what he did.

Currently, we have no clue. No obvious motives. No signs that Prisma deserved her fate. Her recent appearance shows her as a lovely person and a concerned friend, not someone rotten from the inside that needed to be stopped for the greater good. 

So, is it more believable that Amadeus is indeed akin to a serial murderer, or that he was one of the victims? 

Finally, Amadeus is an only child. That’s mentioned despite barely being relevant, so I call Chekhov’s gun on that! Yellow had One child. The emphasis on the baby is strong, but we don’t know what its deal is. We don’t even know if it survived after that day. So, what if that baby was Amadeus? They even have matching skin color! 

The Flaw

Finally, I would like to bring up the one thing that breaks this whole theory: Pi.

We learn from him that the hair and eye color of people with ecoversian lineage tend to be green. If Amadeus is really Yellow’s kid, then he would have at least been born with green hair and eyes. Petunia’s eyes are green. Both Harold and Wallis have blue eyes. My theory crumbles on that point because of PI. 

TL;DR:

Instead of Amadeus being the one to off Prisma, it's someone else. Rylie takes after them and after Prisma. Amadeus has done nothing wrong, no murders, and is as much a victim as Prisma is, because he was Yellow's child. Yellow wants revenge, and she can get it by killing Rylie.

This is probably one of my most out there theory, but the idea is still fun! Tell me what you think!

i loved the movie anastasia growing up & i am looking right at mr. kuroo tetsuro .. LMFAO . the scheming nature, cunning & sly at first only to be revealed that he’s very kind and thoughtful and SOB . this actually explains a lot of my type in general LOL but whenever i see him, i think of kuroo now . i really loved him and anya when i was little :3 id love to write an au about this ngl … GAH !!!! what this movie means to me :’) !! i could go on forever but let’s move on . . .

Cirrus VS Clermont: It seems that having a plan and a group will get you further than throwing a tantrum by yourself. Oh well, Cirrus fought well, up until he got a headache from all the thundering.

Lemon Kid VS Green: They're many. They're everywhere. They're overwhelming the inversians. They're unkillable. I am of course talking about numerous candy kids and not one nonbinary enemy. They got caught and thrown into the slammer.

To say tension had been bubbling between you and Sonny was an understatement. You and Sonny had been friends and partners for 3 years now. He was the first person to welcome you into SVU with open arms and took you under his wing. You’d had a crush on Carisi from the beginning but his on/off relationship with Rollin’s had prevented you from ever saying a word to him about it. You thought he could absolutely never look at you the way he looked at Rollin’s. That fateful day you looked into his eyes after she’d left him heartbroken once again, you saw he no longer loved her as a partner, but now as a friend and that little glimmer of hope came rushing in. You just…didn’t want to be hurt.

Amanda and you were bestfriends, hell, after she and Sonny broke up for good she was the one to tell you to go for it. Being the bashful, self loathing person you are, you vowed you’d never. Although, it was clear to anyone that had eyes the way yours lingered on Sonny and his on you when you weren’t watching.

One day in the office, investigation had been going strong into serial rapes and assaults on couples in their homes. A man masquerading as a pizza delivery man wearing a motorcycle helmet would whack the boyfriend before raping the girlfriend at gunpoint all while referring to them both as “Chad” and “Stacey”. Names dubbed by incels. Stacey’s were attractive unattainable to incel women swept off and ‘stolen away’ by equally as attractive men aka Chad’s.

Two rapes had occurred with the same MO. The boyfriend assaulted, girlfriend raped all the while being called Chad and Stacey but the third rape…The MO changed. Beth, the second victim had led the team to her stalker ‘Rylie Porter’, while in custody the third rape occurred and this time…It had become fatal. The boyfriend was shot this time, right above his eye but something else changed. This time the perp called the boyfriend by his name instead of Chad…He was John. It turned into a twisted web of incels rape trading and now murder was thrown into the mix. It was time to get Riley to talk.

“Phalluspower” Risi had said out of nowhere, reading something from his screen when Fin walked pass, sarcastic remarks and perfectly timed quips at the ready.

“I wouldn’t say that too loud, bro”.

“It’s Riley’s incel handle”. Carisi told him showing him the screen, the dark web went deep but Sonny had finally, finally found the den for the incels.

“How do you know”? Fin wondered, focused on the screen now in curiosity if Sonny had something they could use to their advantage.

“There’s a lot of messages here, leading up to the date of the first rape all to somebody who calls himself, Hateful-One”.

“Rapist #2”? This was something you could use, gain leverage against Riley with. He was weak, a coward. It wouldn’t be hard to break him and anyone else involved in this, you thought.

“One way to find out”.

That conversation is what led to you and Sonny acting as two detectives in love. A couple. You were now Chad and Stacey. Carisi was the kinda handsome that Incels absolutely hated and you were the kinda gorgeous that Incels wanted to ‘conquer’ being in your prescence would sure break Riley down. He was little when he no longer had his gun or helmet.

“I told you! I didn’t rape that girl”.

Walking into the room with Riley was Carisi, you were already there wearing a simple pencil skirt with a blazer, Riley’s eyes looked at you immediately. Somewhat intimidated, angry, and ready to blow up at any second just being in your vicinity.

“I believe you Riley, I do. Because, uh, ya raped this one”. Sonny threw the folder down, a picture of Anne now in front of Riley’s face. This made you sick, these guys were all the same. As soon as they were caught they cowered, barely a speck in the warm, damp interrogation room. It was amusing.

“I don’t know her”. Riley countered.

“Mm. But your friend does”. Putting down the folder, Sonny rests his hand on the desk, looking Riley right in the eye. You didn’t know why but he looked impossibly attractive, his aura exuding power and authority. You were trying to keep your eyes off of him and focus on the suspect but Sonny was always a distraction to you.

“What friend”? Riley maintained, you had to admit. The guy was alright at acting like he didn’t give a shit but you could still see that he was nervous and shifty.

“The one you’ve been messaging on your private little incel messaging boards”.

Riley looked confused for a moment before Carisi continued, “Yeah, a lot of nooks and crannies on the Darkweb. Took us awhile, Riley but we found you”

“Hateful-One. Oh, did I, uh, mention that i love your handle? Phalluspower? That’s very clever”. Carisi was going in for the kill and it was almost time for you to speak up. Riley was still glancing your way, still with angry shifty eyes.

“Anyway, you’ve been writing to Hateful-One quite a bit”.

He starts reading from the chat logs, making Riley gulp still trying to keep up the facade of calm coolness but you saw right through him, “Your turn, bro. You wrote that on the day that Anne Whitman was raped. Hateful-One responds ‘My pleasure’, and then the next day. Boom. It’s Beth Palmers turn”.

“You’re dreaming”. Riley scoffs.

“Oh, I am”? Carisi counters, “Well I got a whole room full of computer geeks that say different”.

You finally stepped up, smiling when Riley took notice of you, “You wanna know what I dream about, Riley”?

“I don’t wanna talk to her”. Cowardice.

“I dream about standing up in court, at your sentencing hearing and saying that 20 to life is too short for conspiracy to commit three rapes, two assaults, and a murder”. Riley was avoiding eye contact but you and Carisi made sure he could see any small display of affection between you two. Carisi gently rubbing up and down your back to soothe your anger had Riley’s jaw clenching but hearing about the murder seemed to genuinely confuse him.

“What are you talking about”?

You looked to Carisi, biting your lip in amazement, letting out a small humorless chuckle, addressing Carisi first before leaning over Riley “Babe, Awe”.

“Aha, your buddy didn’t tell you? Okay, cause see not only did he rape Carol Solomon. He put a bullet through John Quinn’s head. He was her fiancé”. Putting your hand up to his temple like a gun, you emphasize for effect, “Boom”.

“Riley, do you know the difference between concurrent and consecutive sentences”? Carisi asked him and you could finally tell you’d gotten Riley’s attention and it was absolutely joyful seeing the fear in his eyes.

“One means your ass is ours”. You smiled, hovering over his shoulder while you spoke, “The other? Your ass is ours forever”. Walking by him, you move to sit on the table, watching the words sink in for Riley.

“Riley”? Carisi went in for the kill knowing you had him in the palm of your hands, his eyes shifted from you to Carisi then to the table, “Who’s Hateful-One”?

“Chris Carnasis”. And boom, the fish caught the bait, “He— He lives in Riverdale, he works at Whole Foods b-but he didn’t kill anyone either”

“Who did”? You pressed, raising a brow.

“A guy Chris met online, IronCross X. I don’t know his real name”.

You and Sonny looked at each other, smirking before leaving Riley to himself.

The chemistry between the two of you was obvious. Behind the glass was Benson, Fin, and Rollin’s. They’d witnessed the entire thing go down and when you came out of the room, Amanda’s smirk was huge. Benson’s brow was raised in suspicion when she looked at the two of you.

“That was amazing work, guys. I almost thought you were actually a couple…Are you”? Olivia asked, straightforward and to the point was the way she’d always worked. You were blushing just thinking about being in a relationship with Dominick, but that was just that. A dream. He’d never like you, you were sure he’d probably been dating someone after his mutual breakup with Amanda. If he was, he’d been hiding it extremely well. Even so, you rolled your eyes at the accusations.

“Don’t worry, Lieu. We would’ve told you if we were, you are Mama Bear after all”. You teased her, smiling with your dimples on full display, not going unnoticed by Sonny and Sonny watching you didn’t go unnoticed by Rollins. So, she spoke up. She was tired of you two dodging your feelings for one another.

“You will be soon enough. With the eye contact and subtle touches in that interrogation room? I can tell you love each other”. Amanda shrugged making you eyes go wide, glaring holes through your bestfriend, red cheeks not at all hidden by your brown caramel skintone. Sonny took notice to this as well.

“Ima gone head and second that. Rollin’s is right”. Fin butts in.

“Just let me know when it does happen, alright”? Benson rolled her eyes, looking at the three of you. You and Sonny stood there frozen watching Olivia leave to get to work with Stone. You couldn’t help but dwell on the fact that she had said when and not if and that neither you nor Sonny had corrected or argued with any of them about it.

You had stayed late that night, finishing up some paperwork before finally heading to the lockers to change and go home. You had thought you were the only one there so undressing down to your underwear wasn’t a big deal to you. You put on your tank top, left in a tank top and panties while searching for your shorts. You thought you were alone. That was, until you heard someone clear their throat.

You flinched a little, about to grab your gun when you inhaled a familiar scent, spinning around to face Dominick in the flesh. You were still reeling from the incident where you were both teased and had predictions onto your relationship…er…friendship?

“Shit, Dom. You scared me”. You grabbed at your chest, grabbing your shorts. You didn’t even notice Sonny’s eyes raking over your figure or the lick of his lips after he finally looked back up at your face.

“Hey, Doll. I’m sorry for scaring ya, I was just here late doing some paperwork and I, uh, thought you might need a ride”? He offered, your car was in the shop so you’d be taking the train for the last couple of days and whew was it getting tiring to do. You eyes landed on his, sweetly. He thought you looked like an angel with those kind, gentle eyes.

“Y-yeah sure, I’d like that”. You stammered, not particularly one to pass up a chance to be in the same car as Dominick for the 30 minutes it took to get you home. You always did like to be in his company, even before you’d gained your humongous crush on him. He was always the sweetest one on the team and the best damned partner out there.

“Alright…Um. Do you wanna go to mines by any chance? We can order takeout like we used to and watch cliché horror movies again”. That smile was dangerous, how could you say no to Sonny of all people? You simply couldn’t. Putting your shorts and shoes on, you grab his hand and smile again. So sweet it gave him a tooth ache.

“Of course, Son. Missed hanging out with my favorite person”.

His heart skipped too many beats after hearing that.

In the car, at first things were silent except for the sound of the radio blasting who knows what and you nor Dominick seemed to care. Too wrapped up in your own thoughts of one another. How oblivious to each other’s love could two people be? No wonder Amanda was frustrated. After finally pulling into his driveway Sonny sighed, turning the music off. It was time to finally come clean. He was in love with you. Somehow, he thought he always had been. Even while with Amanda.

Your head snapped up, looking over at him. Your throat had a lump in it and you’d gotten redder without him even doing a thing yet, “Today was crazy, huh? You did a good job out there, Sweetheart”. your heart leaped at the name, chewing on your lower lip from habit.

“You did amazing too, Son. It was real convincing, I guess. Benson, Fin, and Rollin’s sure thought so”. You giggled nervously, your eyes moving down to your hands when he grabs one of yours into his. Looking into your eyes seriously now. You gulped.

“It was kinda funny, Ya’know Rollins kept talking about how we were in love with each other and it made me redder than a tomato and uh…” he paused, brushing some braids out of your face to see you better, you smiled shyly, your eyes kept leaving his for intervals but they always came back and Sonny enjoyed it. It was amusing to see you so flustered, and he couldn’t lie, knowing you were flustered because of him was even better.

“Yeah”? You spoke meekly, swallowing down. Your throat felt a bit dry, you weren’t ready for this. Well, you were but you had never expected this to happen. You never thought he could possibly love you back but the way he looked into your eyes and caressed your cheek so tenderly, you could feel the love in his touch. His eyes left yours momentarily, looking down at your lips, your breath hitched when his thumb brushed over your bottom lip gently, he looked entranced. Looking back up at you, he smiles a bit.

“She was right. God, Doll…I-I’ve been in love with you for so long. Hell, probably even while Amanda and I were still dating. You just…Ya have a hold on me so deep and everytime I see those beautiful eyes of yours staring back at me? I feel at home. I feel complete. And and…I’m sorry”. With each word your heart thumped in your chest louder and quicker than ever, when he apologized you were a bit confused.

“What are you sorry for, Son”? You asked quietly, slightly getting bolder with your touches, moving your hand to his cheek. He chuckled, his adam apple bobbing up and down before he finally spoke. He was so beautiful. Your precious boy.

“For ignoring that look in your eyes. I could tell you loved me, I-I was just afraid. Ya’know? Just scared I couldn’t possibly be a good lover for ya, Sweetheart”.

Your eyes widened in surprise at his words, you knew Sonny could be an insecure person at times, he’d gone through a lot. You’d never thought his emotions would’ve mirrored yours, your reasons for never confessing coming out of his mouth. It made you sad to think he could actually think of himself as a bad lover. We’re gonna meet some mancers, either as a memory or as a dreamscape meeting, but I bet we’re gonna.

Here’s the list of all the theories represented :

- All mancers are associated with an element from the Hyacy religion : Amaryllis is sky, Malus water, Hyacinth seed, Prisma light and Ama darkness

- Prisma is the one getting killed and Hobo’s the one killing

- Hyacinth can mind control peeps

- The storm is back and is next to stratoverse

- Amaryllis is venerated as a weather goddess ? sun goddess ?

- Yellow is tracking someone, maybe the child she had in her arms ?

- Yellow might be Amaryllis

- Cakegirl was foreshadowing that Malus and Seaweed are... related maybe

- the cave from Rylie’s dream might just be a cave where the first humans lived ??? this one is far fetched. Or its Hobo’s man cave (im so sorry for that)

- If that is that kind of cave, since the memory must come from a mancer, then they must have been alive at that time and have been present at the murder fest so its either Amaryllis (which holds if Yellow is Amaryllis) or Hobo (meaning he is old as balls as Cakegirl would put it)

I did a quick introduction as my first post, but I've seen that there's a particular format most new studyblrs are using, so here goes!

About Me

My name is Kat, and my pronouns are she/her.

I attend a small state university in Texas. I will graduate in May of 2020 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and minors in Biology and Chemistry. ♻️

I live with my wonderful boyfriend, Benjamin, who has degrees in History and Spanish from the university I currently attend. He teaches Spanish at the local public high school.

I have 3 jobs! I babysit every Wednesday, work at the local children's museum on weekends, and I'm a peer tutor at my university during the week. The subjects I tutor are government, psychology, geology, microbiology, meteorology, and statistics (assuming I make an A in it, I'll know in about 2 weeks). 💸

I have two kitties, Minke and Weasley, and I'm completely obsessed with them.

Past Experiences

Summer 2019 - I did a Study Abroad program in Belize over Terrestrial Watershed Ecology and Tropical Marine Biology. Hopefully I'll go back next summer for an internship! 🏝

Summer 2017 - I interned at a marine wildlife rehabilitation facility with a focus on sea turtles. That's me in the picture releasing a green sea turtle!

Summer 2016 - I assisted in a microbiology lab that was creating gene libraries for coral species. I did RNA extractions for the DNA sequencing. 🧬

Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 - I assisted in a chemistry lab where we were attempting to find a series of chemical reactions that would turn carbon dioxide back into reusable carbon without using or creating hazardous materials. We weren't successful :(

Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 - I assisted (aka washed dirt) for a paleontology lab. Not gonna lie, I wasn't particularly in-the-know about what was going on. I was a junior in high school (11th grade), I was just excited to be there lol.

Summers 2010 and 2011 - I volunteered over 100 hours each summer at a nationally ranked aquarium! I usually worked with the penguins but I preferred worked in the Caribbean exhibit. 🐠

My Goals

Get into a Masters thesis-track for Fall 2020! 🎓

Maintain or improve my current GPA of 3.7

Not die (or fail) when I take Organic Chemistry I this fall semester. 😱

Become a more efficient student! I frequently use brute force to get good grades when often there's an easier, more eloquent way to go about it.

What year are you in? I have no idea, but i’m starting my first year of university next fall (september 7th, whoop whoop).

What are you studying? Politics, sociology, the basic of Law, English, Spanish, French, a third language I didnt choose yet (but probably German), and probably some code and how the internet influence markets etc. Im really really excited.

Are you a morning or a night person? Morning person all the way

Front/middle/back of the class? Front but not the first row, Im too tall and I dont want to bother people so more often than not second.

Best study tip? Start small and be kind to yourself. Sometimes you just can’t do something as good as someone else (the grammer sounds wrong but what do i know) and that’s okay, you did the best you can. Also do practise tests and be on time. For everything. Really. Or be early and that’s even better
