Propaganda:

Wallis got that moral ambiguity. He’s a dick on purpose even if overall well meaning. He sorta was the antagonist in the first chapters.

Cakegirl is the meow-meowest, she is: pathetic, evil, literally lived in an alley like a street cat for a while, wants to have your sympathy so bad despite being evil… slaps the top of her hat like that car sales meme you can fit so many delusions and mental health problems into this character.

Cakegirl is much more meow meow, she even has a tragic and preventable end. She can’t even get better! Ultimate tragic meow meow!! She’s a villain that started out like a single note character and managed to squeeze more character development and catharsis than anyone else by shouting her frustrations, trying to get Rylie to relate, having a painful flashback and eventually accepting death and recognising she went wrong

Cakegirl did it all to herself. A poor wet meow-meow's patheticness value only increases when their misery is self-inflicted and all their own fault. We wouldn't have to be our poor wet meow-meow's defense lawyer if they were victims of circumstance and injustice.

Please, Harold’s own misery is also his own fault for not reaching out, but he doesn’t hold a CANDLE to Cakegirl when it comes to being morally ambiguous.

Ylil is the poorest wettest meow meow because she knocks everyone out the park on the moral ambiguousness, has a mysterious tragic past, and kissed Indigo that one time (reported canonically to have been a miserable experience)

Amadeus hates his status but has to live with it still and will likely outlive the family he loves

Purple propaganda!! Yma may be a poor little meow meow because of her tragic backstory, her anxiety and the pressure of conformity, but she's in the same position as thousands of inversians, except she has the Judge as her sister who supports her.

Meanwhile Purple is a self sabotaging idiot with jealousy issues who ruined his relationship to Wallis and somehow managed to convince himself he deserved to be hated. And then he hides it all under flirtiness and sexiness.

Round 2: Purple VS Yma

Propaganda:

Yma has been given anxiety by the conformity society and is getting by the guilt of her sister’s influence

Between wallis and pi who has the worst moral ambiguity...

I would argue wallis because he's a dick on purpose even if overall well meaning. He sorta was the antagonist in the first chapters, meanwhile Pi is just a cog in the system. He's not even pathetic, he's just easily bullied. He talks in therapy speak. He's well adjusted and organises paperwork for fun. The only pathetic thing about him is that we don't see him outside of work hours.

Round 2: Wallis VS Pi

Propaganda:

Pi is Prez’s number one emotional and workload support. AND he has to deal with indigo.

Fallstreak just suffered a loss and doesn’t have the priviledges of being immortal or a god tho. Yellow has ample time to mourn but Fallstreak needs to power through all while enforcing Yellow’s rule. Much more miserable than having your own private greenhouse
